Giving the two stars for the great screening room and comfortable seats, however walking into a staff free cinema felt like going into a post apocalyptic world. Taking my own popcorn and drinks, paying them contactless and scanning my own ticket to go inside? Horrific experience from the angle of loss of human contact alone, not even taking into account access issues for senior citizens who might not have contactless payment options and require help with the technology in the cinema. And finally at least three jobs eliminated. The world has gone to shit and it's our own fault. Never coming back, I like my theaters staffed and human work appreciated

I really enjoyed this theater. It’s the most comfortable cinema experience that I’ve had in Paris. I don’t know if I can go back to the other popular theater chain after experiencing this one. I visited during midday but there’s no price difference for earlier showings as opposed to the late ones. The screens are clear, the theater is clean, and the sound is good. No complaints.
Kei - 2 years ago
Good theater. Wish the main screen (screen 1) had Dolby vision though. Sound was great and the video was good. Chairs were super comfortable. The self-service area for the popcorn etc left much to be desired and didn't live up to what a premium theater should have/be.
Rahil Jivani - 3 years ago
Great theatre and really gets the premium vibe across. Not many people, as expected on a Friday afternoon and seeing the price.
Very spacious and comfortable, even à not so great movie isn’t as bad anymore.

We did not see any review for this place and went in blind. It was ok , maybe not the best crepes but still good.

Light, crisp, lacy, and buttery galettes made with buckwheat flour. I had the smoked salmon with spinach and goat cheese which I adored. The house cider is delicious. Highly recommend.

Retired Australian couple. Our waiter Miguel was the reason we stayed here from just having drinks to eating dinner while killing time before we went to the Montparnasse Tower across the road at 8pm. The food was amazing. Miguel helped us with our selection. Snails 🐌 for entrees, tuna steak & veggies, and a combination fish salad. But it was Miguel’s friendly attentiveness that was equally outstanding!

We had a corporate party here. I had no expectations, but was positively surprised. The show was great! The acrobats particularly were amazing! Food was good as well. I do recommend.

We had a very nice night out at Cesar Palace. The venue was charming and chic, but cosy and not too big. There was a very nice overall atmosphere. The food was well presented and tasty, the service was pleasant. The performances were entertaining with beautiful costumes, and the artists were very talented, giving their 200% energy for the show. It was our first cabaret experience, and we enjoyed it.

Fun experience. Food is decent but nothing extraordinary. The performances are entertaining but sometimes a bit too long and repetitive. 2 euros per person for the cloakroom feels cheap and unnecessary.

Oh César Paris is a popular cabaret venue offering a unique and festive evening experience. The venue is described as having a lively and energetic atmosphere, perfect for a night out in Paris.
Excellent show: The show is praised for its variety, featuring talented performers in dance, singing, magic, acrobatics, and humor.
food: While not the main focus, the food is generally considered to be decent and enjoyable.
staff: The staff is often mentioned as being welcoming, helpful, and attentive.
The venue may be crowded, especially for popular shows, and seating can be limited.
Overall, Oh César Paris is generally well-regarded as a fun and entertaining venue for a night out in Paris. If you're looking for a lively atmosphere, good food, and a variety of performances, it's definitely worth considering.

Blue cheese burger is really good, very generous amount of good quality blue cheese and steak haché is great. Fries are decent. Coleslaw with the burger is very negligible, should either be removed or allow customer to choose either coleslaw or the tomato/pickle side to have a proper amount. Service is good enough and lovely outside seating.

We came to indian cafe to pool and the waiter said we needed to wait 1 hour, that’s fine cause we could sit with a drink. After waiting for 1 hour they didn’t come to us and we needed to ask 2 times for at what time we can pool. They said we needed to wait another 45 minutes. By promosing 1 hour 2 hours is long waiting. The service can be much better:(

We were wanting to have seafood for lunch and saw this while walking around the area in Montparnasse. We had the oysters which we're so fresh and delicious! Then we had the grilled seafood mix which hit the spot for our seafood craving. Well cooked, fresh, and well portioned. The staff were helpful and service was good. The restaurant was clean and had a good ambience. Overall a great experience and would recommend to anyone wanting to do seafood dining.

We tried all four types of oysters that they sell. Each one had its own flavor profile, but the one listed as exceptional was exactly that! It was the best oysters we have ever eaten in our lives. The flavor and depth was amazing. Definitely recommend!

I was looking for sea food and a French ambiance. I got sea food and a semi-French ambiance - as far as I can tell … what does that mean: the food was really authentic, I got the mainsea food platter with lobster and added a side of fries. It’s a lot but it is great - the lobster was however mediocre - everything else was outstanding!
Anyhow, I will come again.

Quite overpriced. The waiters spoke good English and were friendly. Slow service. Wine good. Snails and salmon decent. The main was bland and not impressive at all.

We had a couple of hours before our train to Bordeaux so decided to have lunch near the station. Friendly staff weren’t too snotty towards the English speaking tourists, showed us the English menu (QR code to Google translate) and was very attentive. Food was ok, nothing special but more than acceptable for a quick lunch before a train trip. Tare tare was too big probably best to share it unless you really feel like a lot of raw beef… condiments for the tare tare and steak didn’t appear and had to ask for them. Onion soup was mediocre, a bit like warm as well. Overall not too bad.

Nice restaurant overall.
Very large queues, however if you are 2 people like we were we only waited 30 minutes to get a seat but if you are larger group it would be way longer.
We ordered steak with fries and the sauce was super tasty and fries and meat but meat was a bit cold. Sangria was delicious. Chocolate mouse tasted a lot like cacao powder.
The prices are great and the place is very beautiful and felt very local. It is nice to stop by if you can. It was just very crowded and hectic inside as there was low staff and many people.
Lenaisabellaleo - 4 months ago
Ideal for a warm meal while waiting for your train, this popular traditional French restaurant is an excellent choice.
It serves classic French “home-style” dishes — generous, comforting, and flavorful — at reasonable prices for such a lively and bustling neighborhood.
Guests are welcomed into a spacious dining room. The service is fast, although it may sometimes lack attentiveness during busy periods. The restaurant can also become quite noisy at peak hours due to its high number of customers.
Jean Paul Lucat - 4 months ago
The food is cheap but the taste is definitely not something to gloat about compared to other restaurants in Paris.
However the Atmosphere of a Traditional Bouillon can be felt.
If you do go I definitely recommend getting the profiterole.
Overall I give it a 7/10. Recommend it for the experience but not particularly the taste of the food.
Kenta Fujii - 5 months ago
We arrived at 5pm and the restaurant was empty, so they seated us easily.
А huge selection of dishes and very affordable prices.
We took the snails and they were good. Also medium rare beef skewers with pepper sauce and sauerkraut. All the food was simple in taste, nothing special, but we liked everything.
Our waiter 25 did his job perfectly. He served all the tables very quickly and was very polite. He made the biggest impression on us.
Olena Ziberova - 2 months ago
I had to wait in line for about 30 minutes to get a table. The restaurant organizes the queue based on group size—if you come as a group of four, you’ll likely get seated faster than coming as two, since there are more tables for four people.
The food was delicious, and the prices were very cheap compared to other restaurants. Every dish I tried was tasty and worth it.
The only downside is the limited number of restrooms, so you may have to wait in line to use them

We came in as a large group, over 40 people and I mean it when I say they brought thier game! The food was fantastic! Everyone loved it. They were courteous, fast, friendly... I cannot rate hight enough.
They gave me a separate meal due to being gluten intolerant and oh my gosh!!! So delicious.
Bravo!

Really nice restaurant.
The staff was extremely kind and friendly. They seem to accept even a bit weird requests on the food! (But let’s be nice to them 😂)
And they are super kids friendly (with things to do for kids while waiting, a swing chair)
And the food was great as well. Especially the apple crumble was one of the best of the kind for the entire of my life.
The waiting time can be expected around 15-30mins after order, but it is totally worthy.
And the bathroom can be considered not that great.

We came with a Tour group, the tour package only allowed for a mediocre salad and two different types of pizza, which is more of a flatbread. One was a vegetarian with tomatoes and cucumbers, the other was ham and onions. Not terrible, just not options I would have ordered, or would recommend. So I purchased a burger, which was better. Not sure what this place is supposed to be known for, but this meal doesn't do them any favors offering to a group of 20+ people. The dessert flatbread seemed to be the best thing that came with our meal. Not saying much there. What a shame, a wasted chance to make 20 plus tourists happy. To end on a positive note, get the seats outside, best seats at the place.

We were wild about this place! We had incredible service and the food was quick and delicious! Our server, Marwan, was so accommodating, attentive, and had great recommendations on food! Would 100% suggest!

The simple flams without cheese are the best ones but still too many lardons (bacon bits) for my taste. The simple green salad is nice but even the large portion (that 4 people should share) was more like a single portion. The menu salad is not worth ordering.
Very friendly staff.

The restaurant was OK. The food was good enough. The dessert was great and I totally recommend it: i had somethingrushed called cafe gourmant. I felt the servers were rushed and not so cheerful as you would expect from such places.

Overall, my experience at Hippopotamus Steakhouse was mixed. The place itself was relatively clean and well-kept, which is a plus. However, the service was mediocre to poor. The waiters seemed clumsy and disorganized, took an excessively long time to take our order, and the delay in bringing the food was also frustrating. On the positive side, the food was quite good and the portion sizes were fairly satisfying. Unfortunately, the quality of the service really took away from what could have been a much better experience.”

I liked the ambience of the restaurant. Its a good go to place if you want to a steakhouse or someting "beefy" like a burger. They're are a number of locations scattered around Paris (and maybe beyond).
We ordered the lunch menu, which I found the size, which I found the size of the beef quite small.
We had complimentary bread and chips to start with while we waited for our food. The drinks we ordered were nice too. But probably my favourite part was the ice cream as dessert.

The food is really simple and so good here. Definitely recommend the café gourmand! Service was mixed. There’s one very energetic, lovely lady but the rest seem bored or like they couldn’t care less.

The food looks delicious but its just the looks. The meat was not tender and my teeth did really hurt afterwards. Our food came 1 hour after we ordered it. Finally, even though I told the waiter the sides I have wanted she did not bring the second side. Really good atmosphere but the chef needs to know how to cook medium as my steak died a second time or burn a fillet steak.

We had a delicious weekday lunch of freshly prepared vegetarian hot and cold starters with Lebanese rosé. Our waiter never rushed us and was patient answering our questions - always with a huge smile. We sat on the pavement terrace shaded by laurel bushes. It’s a tiny quiet oasis in this busy concrete district. We’ll go back.

Of all the restaurants we visited in Paris, this was by far the best. We have many Lebanese, Israeli, Armenian, and Syrian restaurants to choose from in Los Angeles, but Les Cedres du Liban surpassed them all. Not only was the food and atmosphere amazing, but Nicolas (owner/chef) was so welcoming and charming that we felt like we were part of his family. This is not a restaurant to be missed.
