Review for Pathé Parnasse:
Great cinema experience in the heart of Montparnasse. The theaters are modern, clean, and comfortable with excellent sound and picture quality. I loved the reclining seats—they made the movie even more enjoyable.
From Monday to Friday, they offer reduced ticket prices until 17h, which is a nice bonus. CinePass holders can also access the premiere theaters without paying extra, which is a fantastic deal—especially for movie buffs like me. I really hope Pathé rolls out the same benefit in other premiere theaters too.
Honestly, I didn’t find any negatives at Pathé Parnasse. Highly recommend it for a premium yet accessible movie experience in Paris.

I really enjoyed this theater. It’s the most comfortable cinema experience that I’ve had in Paris. I don’t know if I can go back to the other popular theater chain after experiencing this one. I visited during midday but there’s no price difference for earlier showings as opposed to the late ones. The screens are clear, the theater is clean, and the sound is good. No complaints.

Very comfortable seats. Magnificent leg space. I enjoyed the whole time. Very good experience. Best 2D and 3D movies.

Good theater. Wish the main screen (screen 1) had Dolby vision though. Sound was great and the video was good. Chairs were super comfortable. The self-service area for the popcorn etc left much to be desired and didn't live up to what a premium theater should have/be.

We bought the premium and it was really comfy, the chairs are velvet, personally I think it’s better and softer than leather :)

Simple food that doesn’t disappoint.
Good price and the waiter was really nice and friendly. Would recommend!

Retired Australian couple. Our waiter Miguel was the reason we stayed here from just having drinks to eating dinner while killing time before we went to the Montparnasse Tower across the road at 8pm. The food was amazing. Miguel helped us with our selection. Snails 🐌 for entrees, tuna steak & veggies, and a combination fish salad. But it was Miguel’s friendly attentiveness that was equally outstanding!

So delicious and lovely service. The sweet waitress tried really hard to speak French and gave me a drink on the house. Best value on the whole street.

We had a very nice night out at Cesar Palace. The venue was charming and chic, but cosy and not too big. There was a very nice overall atmosphere. The food was well presented and tasty, the service was pleasant. The performances were entertaining with beautiful costumes, and the artists were very talented, giving their 200% energy for the show. It was our first cabaret experience, and we enjoyed it.

Great breakfast choices - has American and French. We thought the hot drink and orange juice was included in the price so we ordered both. But it was extra 1 euro. Might be a miscommunication but great food and will come back when we are in town.

We tried all four types of oysters that they sell. Each one had its own flavor profile, but the one listed as exceptional was exactly that! It was the best oysters we have ever eaten in our lives. The flavor and depth was amazing. Definitely recommend!

We were wanting to have seafood for lunch and saw this while walking around the area in Montparnasse. We had the oysters which we're so fresh and delicious! Then we had the grilled seafood mix which hit the spot for our seafood craving. Well cooked, fresh, and well portioned. The staff were helpful and service was good. The restaurant was clean and had a good ambience. Overall a great experience and would recommend to anyone wanting to do seafood dining.

I was looking for sea food and a French ambiance. I got sea food and a semi-French ambiance - as far as I can tell … what does that mean: the food was really authentic, I got the mainsea food platter with lobster and added a side of fries. It’s a lot but it is great - the lobster was however mediocre - everything else was outstanding!
Anyhow, I will come again.

Very neat place. The inside looks just like the photos and feels like you have been transported into Paris in the early 1900’s. We waited in line for 45 minutes to eat at around 2pm which was expected for such a famous spot. The service was very fast and paid attention to the many tables they had. The food was good, although a bit tough to find something we liked and that we wanted from the menu of the day we thoroughly enjoyed your meals. If you are looking for a steak frite, perhaps try another place but if you are looking to venture out and try different French cuisine, this is the spot for you.

Bouillon Chartier delivers a memorable meal: traditional French classics served generously in a stunning Belle-Époque dining hall. The prices are astonishingly reasonable — you can enjoy multiple courses plus wine without breaking the bank. Service is brisk but efficient: waiters scurry through the throng with charm, even amid the bustle. The atmosphere is loud, alive, and convivial — it’s not refined, but it’s full of character, good food, and real Parisian spirit.

Delicious meal that was cheap and amazing. The service was absolutely awesome and the food was amazing. They have a lot of bigger tables where you might be sitting across a stranger or with other people if you are a smaller party.
We were 4 of us and we sat at a table with 2 others that got switched half way through our meal.
Small set menu that seems to rotate everyday, although that could just be what they write on the menu too.
Prices are the most reasonable in Paris we could find and was €110 for 4 of us with drinks. We will be back, 100% recommended!

Bouillon Chartier is a true Parisian experience. The dining hall is lively, bustling, and full of old-world charm—it feels like stepping back in time. The menu is classic French comfort food at very affordable prices. I had a hearty meal that was simple but satisfying, and the service was impressively quick considering how busy it was. The only downside is that it can feel a bit crowded and noisy, but that’s also part of the atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit for authentic Paris vibes at a great value!

Restaurant recommended to us by a French friend of ours. The place is really nice, furnished in a basic way, but with style.
The concept behind the restaurant is very nice.
The staff is of few words because they are very busy, the restaurant was full and there is an endless line of people to get in.
Tasty food, it reminded me of the food of Italian village festivals. The price is really excellent, low, suitable for everyone.

very delicious food! we ordered the all you can eat offer and shared all everything which was cool to taste all the different flavors. the service is friendly and quick which makes the restaurant practical for a quick eat during the day or in the evening. if you want a chill dining experience though, this place might not be suitable since it rather goes into the direction of fast food (still delicious 😋)

Really nice restaurant.
The staff was extremely kind and friendly. They seem to accept even a bit weird requests on the food! (But let’s be nice to them 😂)
And they are super kids friendly (with things to do for kids while waiting, a swing chair)
And the food was great as well. Especially the apple crumble was one of the best of the kind for the entire of my life.
The waiting time can be expected around 15-30mins after order, but it is totally worthy.
And the bathroom can be considered not that great.

We came with a Tour group, the tour package only allowed for a mediocre salad and two different types of pizza, which is more of a flatbread. One was a vegetarian with tomatoes and cucumbers, the other was ham and onions. Not terrible, just not options I would have ordered, or would recommend. So I purchased a burger, which was better. Not sure what this place is supposed to be known for, but this meal doesn't do them any favors offering to a group of 20+ people. The dessert flatbread seemed to be the best thing that came with our meal. Not saying much there. What a shame, a wasted chance to make 20 plus tourists happy. To end on a positive note, get the seats outside, best seats at the place.

I recently visited Hippopotamus, and while the service was just okay, I was pleasantly surprised by the food. It wasn’t anything extraordinary, but I genuinely enjoyed my meal. I went for the set menu — starter, main, and dessert, at just over €21, which felt decent for the price.
This chain used to be the go-to place for a good and affordable steak experience. 15 years later, I can say the quality is still there. The portions have definitely shrunk, especially with the set menu, but maybe that's just the new norm.
All in all, we had a good experience. Would I come back? Yes, definitely.

Ed's in this place might be delicious or not. For example, I got a cheese fondue steak and it was amazing! But the other meat was spicy and not so delicious. The staff is nice and sweet, like the waiters were friendly to me!

Our burgers were really good. The price also quite ok There was one thing however that forces me to give four stars. That is the temperature inside and problem with communication in English... Regarding the temperature - the last days were really warm or even hot - close to 30°C, so there was time "to warm up" the restaurant... How is it possible that there is no air condition?! Is it the 1995 or 2025?! Beside that, the rest was really fine.
Handyman (P) - 5 months ago
The food and the atmosphere were good. The service was a bit poor. We celebrated her birthday and tried to surprise the birthday person. They completely forgot about us and when they remembered they came and apologised out loud so relined the surprise. Most of the food was ok. One of the 13 people on our table ordered chicken, which arrived 30 min after everyone else's meals and was still raw - blood still appearing on the bones.

This is more of an industrial type of food, decent but nothing to rave about. Had the steak and frites. much better options for the same range in Paris.

We had a delicious weekday lunch of freshly prepared vegetarian hot and cold starters with Lebanese rosé. Our waiter never rushed us and was patient answering our questions - always with a huge smile. We sat on the pavement terrace shaded by laurel bushes. It’s a tiny quiet oasis in this busy concrete district. We’ll go back.

As a Lebanese living abroad, I’m usually very picky when it comes to Lebanese food — but this restaurant in Paris truly impressed me. Honestly, it’s even better than many places back home! The flavors were authentic, the portions generous, and the service was warm and welcoming.

Last night dined at an incredible Lebanese restaurant. The cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and lovely Middle Eastern decor combined with soft lighting and Arabic music created a truly inviting experience.
Despite arriving just before closing time, the staff ensured that we felt welcomed.
