Beautifully cooked duck. It took a little longer to prepare. The meat was very tender but personally I like it a little more cooked. Staff was very friendly. You must have a museum ticket to be able to access the restaurant (which is located on the second floor)

Le Restaurant du Musée d’Orsay offers a refined dining experience in a setting as grand as the museum itself. The opulent Belle Époque interior, complete with gilded ceilings and chandeliers, creates a truly atmospheric backdrop—made even more memorable by stunning views of the Seine.
Service was impressively professional: quick, efficient, and gracious throughout. I enjoyed an exquisite chicken dish in a light cream sauce, served with tender French peas and carrots—beautifully prepared and full of flavor.
A perfect complement to a museum visit, this restaurant is worth seeking out in its own right.

While the restaurant has a beautiful ambiance—especially for those who enjoy taking photos of the big clock at Musée d'Orsay—the food itself was quite average in taste. The pricing doesn't reflect the quality of the dishes

Beautiful restaurant. Loved the decor and seating was nice. Food was tasty and reasonably priced.

We continued our tradition of eating at every historical place or museum in Europe and this one was the best. The food was exquisite, but the atmosphere makes the food taste even better. How impressive is this dining hall?! The food was divine from the cheese souffle to the duck pomentier and the secret dessert. Loved it all. Service was great as well. No reservations, so get there early and get in line. It's worth it.

The atmosphere was cozy, the service warm and friendly and the food was amazing, this lovely little restaurant was right across the street from the apartment we’re staying at so we decided to give it a try and we weren’t disappointed. We had the butter chicken, the chicken vindaloo, aloo ghobi, saffron rice and some stiff generously poured whiskey and cola.

Excellent food in a very cosy atmosphere. The Rose Lassi was divine!
Also - some of the cleanest toileets I've seen ANYWHERE in the world!

We love this tiny gem of a restaurant and have been visiting it for years. The owner, Sudat, is warm and welcoming, the service is friendly and the cuisine is outstanding - it is consistently delicious Indian food. The Jingas Madras (shrimp) and the Murg Tikka Masala (Chicken) are our favorites. There is a reason Ravi has been in business for 40 years - it never disappoints.

This place serves one of the best pork chops I have ever had, it's completely worth the trip to come down just for it. Think a thick slab of pork that is super flavourful and tender, the mashed potato is also superb. I'd pass on the chocolate mousse though, as it's a tad bit too rich for me (unless it's for a really big group of people).
Overall, I'll definitely be back here if I'm in Paris again! Do remember to make reservations or you might get turned away, their business is quite good and there aren't many tables available.

Easily one of the best dinners that we’ve had in years. Everything was perfect. The cucumbers were fresh and the mushroom dishes were to die for. Our friends recommended this place to us and we will be doing the same in the future. Make sure to get the beef and the chocolate mousse dishes.

Located in a quiet street behind the Musée d’Orsay, we found this intimate restaurant that offers good French cuisine. Between the four of us, we started with the asparagus, fried clams and fabulous oyster mushrooms. Our main courses were the cod fish (delicious) and well cooked lamb (a little overdone). The desserts were all excellent - especially the apple crumble! We decided on à la carte - but a tempting fixed price menu was available. Excellent wine list. The atmosphere was very agreeable and the service was friendly and efficient. With a fixed menu and careful wine choice, this would not be expensive for the area (but we pushed the boat out!). It was busy but we had reserved - possibly advisable at lunchtime.

This was a wonderful experience on my recent trip to Paris! The server was friendly and spoke English, and even put up with my bad attempts at ordering in French. I started with Kir to drink and then had escargot, the pork chop, and the chocolate mousse for dessert. Seriously, everything was phenomenal! The escargot was among the best I've ever had, the celeriac puree with the pork chop was amazing (and the pork chop itself was wonderfully cooked but a little fatty), and the mousse was mind blowing! The mousse comes with a very large portion, and it's quite rich, so make sure you save room for it (but definitely order it as it's their specialty dessert). A glass of Calvados 10 helped it go down smoothly, though. I'd definitely recommend this place! You might need a reservation, but I went right as they opened and had no issue getting a table.

My wife, friend and I had dinner here last night.
This was, without a doubt, the best meal I have ever had in my life.
I never knew was mousse was before having it here.
I don’t like capers yet couldn’t stop eating the fish with that was prepared with them.
The mashed potatoes that were served with my main course were out of this world. Again, never tasted food as good as this in my life
Thank you for the wonderful meal and life long memory.

Friends and I shared a delicious 3 course lunch in October. From the moment you enter and climb that beautiful stairway to the restaurant entrance, you know you are in for a treat! The food was delicious and beautifully plated, the service warm and attentive and the dining room is so inviting. I would definitely go back for another fine dining experience.

Understated place of huge historical significance as a part of the polytechnique ecosystem. A marvelously simple menu executed to perfection. We were all pleased with this experience and recommend it vigorously. The price to quality ratio is a steal!

The boat was lovely and the food was good. Refreshing cold napkins on a very hot day were greatly appreciated. Small details were missed such as wobbly table top, chipped salad bowl, dirty and chipped water glasses. The photogragher was over-bearing and more service with drinks would have been good. Would get 5 stars if small improvements were made to this enjoyable cruise.

The Paris Seine Dinner cruise was an amazing experience! The views were beautiful. The food was delicious. There was lovely live music throughout the trip. And their waiters were amazing! Special mention to our waiter, Ladji! He was very friendly and kind! He made our experience even better by helping us celebrate my mom’s birthday on the boat!

The best experience we had in Paris! We booked a dinner cruise with kids. It costed 300+ euros with additions of champagne and wine, table near the window, photo pack (which provides a couple of photos, printed and digital) and a birthday cake. They provided a baby chair for the little one. The boat itself had transparent glass from floor to ceiling on the sides and the ceiling itself was transparent glass on the sides with only the middle opaque. There were no open/deck areas and everything was closed.
The service was extremely friendly and attentive, although could feel a bit rushed because they had to complete the three course meal service in the 2 hours. However, the staff was extremely friendly and created a special celebration for the birthday. The singer was amazing as well, interacted with our kids and pointed out tourist attractions while walking/singing by the table.
The food and drinks were great but views even better! The boat first went towards the Notre Dame and further before turning back. By the time it gets to the Eiffel tower, it is dark and the Eiffel tower is all lighted up. It goes beyond the Eiffel tower and turns back allowing both sides to get a good view of the Eiffel tower in the night. It was amazing to see the Paris night come to life with bars/clubs/boats lighting up, people chilling/having fun on the riverside and the architectural beauty of the buildings standing out.
Overall, it was a mesmerising and unforgettable experience.

While I have no other Seine boat tour to compare it to, my wife, daughter and I had a great time. Here’s a quick, helpful summary:
1) Great service. Wait staff spoke English among other languages.
2) We paid about 15% upcharge for a window table and it was worth it.
3) Price of drinks are not factored into the price. This includes water. There were other upsells they presented you with. Be prepared for this.
4) There was an onboard singer who sang over the ship’s PA system. She did great.
5) The scenery was beautiful — but also know there was no “tour guide” calling out landmarks as we passed them. Which was fine because everyone will have mostly already have seen them in person (eg Eiffel Rower)
I have this on 5 stars and recommend going!

We tried the pizza du jour. One is enough for little appetites. With the great weather we took away the pizza and ate at the quai de seine. On sundays is very crowded (we are in april).

Very quick and healthy option.
Ingredients quality is not the best but for a quick lunch it is OK and not too expensive for the surroundings.
However, anything on top of the salad is super expensive.
The choice of ingredients is OK, nothing exceptional compared to other salad bars but allows you a good variety in your salads.

My husband and I really enjoyed our meal at Costa d’Amalfi during our trip to Paris. We were seated outside immediately and our waiter was attentive and kind. We were able to speak to the host about my husband’s allergies and they were understanding and accommodating. The food was delicious! We ordered a burrata salad and their pasta d’Amalfi. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for great Italian food in the Saint Germain neighborhood!

Best Italian food I can remember eating! We started with Jamon and Melon, which was fresh and delicious. The fresh truffles on handmade pasta was amazing. We also tried the handmade Tagliatelle, the tiramisu and the dessert du jour. the street is beautiful in the setting sun, great servers, nice quiet location, and everything was delicious.

A little overpriced for what it was, but overall a pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly, pasta was flavorful and plentiful. The appetizers were okay, but the portions were very little considering the price. Tiramisu was alright - there was a bit too much egg white.

This place was recommended by a local, and it did not disappoint! Walking distance to Louvre. The food was amazing - frog legs came with a delicious sauce, and steak was cooked to perfect medium rare, and duck breast was perfect. Everything tasted even better with some local beer on draft. Considering the central location of this place prices were more than reasonable. Definitely recommend!!!

We had a great meal here. The place was mostly empty at 5:45 pm when we arrived, but it filled by 50% in the next 30 minutes. Frog leg appetizer had the most delightful cream sauce and fresh bread. The lamb shank was mostly excellent except for 1 portion that was overcooked. The salad was really good too with 3 brie croquettes. Service was excellent.

Overall the food was good but nothing crazy. We felt like the chicken was dry at certain parts and there was not enough sauce. We had the seafood couscous which also felt a bit dry. Would recommend the beef tartare ! Decor and location of the restaurant was really great as well.

Today is a very hot day, but my family and I sat by the open window. Service was excellent, the onion soup was great, escargot was delicious, the octopus was amazing, the lamb shank was tasty and the beef bourguignon was the star of the show!! Rich, flavorful, and fulfilling. We highly recommend, especially after visiting the Musee d’orsay, since it is a block away.

A Peaceful Parisian Gem in the Tuileries
My wife and I (visiting from Toronto) had a great time at Café des Marronniers. It’s tucked away in the Tuileries Garden, so it feels quiet and relaxed—like a little escape from the busy city.
The service was warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home.
We both had the French onion soup, and it was honestly the best we've had—rich, cheesy, full of flavor, and just perfect.
Such a great spot to enjoy good food and take in the Paris atmosphere. We’d definitely come back next time we're in the city.

I tried escargot for the first time and it was lovely. For main course I had fish and chips which was also excellent. On the minus side was that we had to wait for an hour between the courses although we reminded the waiter that we hadn’t gotten our food. We didn’t get any compensation.

Nice place in the park for lunch, if you have time. We had to wait a long time (more than 40 minutes) for the food to arrive. Sure, it was peak lunchtime, and there were also many servers, but it seemed like the kitchen was at limited capacity. The food was quite good, i had the risotto with gambas (very delicious), my partner had fish&chips, the fries were unfortunately already a bit cold. We had two different mocktails as a drink, which were good but way too much ice (as big cubes). Price-wise it was quite ok given the location.
