What a wonderful place to eat - seriously fantastic. The atmosphere is very upscale, beautiful and unique. The food was exceptional. We had a party of 8 and everyone was happy. The service was to notch. This restaurant is historic, and we now know why! Come here, you ain't regret it!

An unforgettable evening at a true Parisian institution! Stepping into La Coupole is like walking back in time to the glamorous Roaring Twenties. The grand Art Deco dining hall is absolutely magnificent, buzzing with an energy that is both elegant and historic. It is the quintessential Parisian brasserie experience from the moment you arrive.
We dove into the menu by ordering a few classics, and each was a testament to French culinary tradition. The seafood platter was a highlight—the oysters were impeccably fresh with a clean, briny flavor, and the whelks were tender and delicious.
The French onion soup was perfection in a bowl; a deeply rich, savory broth hidden beneath a glorious, bubbly cap of perfectly browned Gruyère cheese. We also savored the foie gras, which was silky and decadent, beautifully paired with a fruit compote. Even the quality of the bread and the accompanying Charentes-Poitou butter spoke volumes about their commitment to quality.
For the main course, we had the pan-seared sea bass served over orzo. The skin was wonderfully crisped and offered a fantastic texture. While the fish itself was a little drier than I would have preferred, this minor point was easily overlooked when enjoyed with the incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked orzo it rested upon.
Overall, the experience was absolutely 5-star. The service was professional and attentive, and the atmosphere is simply unmatched. Dining at La Coupole is a must-do for anyone seeking to immerse themselves in the history, culture, and flavor of Paris.

This is a classic on Montparnasse for a reason. We went with our kids, so didn’t opt for the impressive seafood towers, but stuck with the classics: onion soup, foie gras, fish and chips, house choucroute, and the crepes Suzette. The onion soup was underwhelming, but everything else was fantastic. Plus, Karim our server took very good care of us, even splitting orders for the kids because they don’t have a kids’ menu. Definitely coming back next time we’re in Paris.

I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. Every dish felt carefully thought through – from the starters to the dessert, the flavors were rich, balanced, and beautifully presented. You can really tell that fresh, high-quality ingredients were used. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful with recommendations, making sure everything went smoothly. The atmosphere was inviting and perfect for both a casual meal and a special occasion. It’s rare to find a place that combines amazing food, great service, and a comfortable setting so perfectly, but this restaurant really does. I will definitely be coming back!

A fantastic venue for the performing arts. Enjoy the neighborhood atmosphere of a local movie theater while assisting to national level performances. Fantastic show yesterday with Le Penseur where a real scupltor reflects on Rodin's work.

A unique and hidden gem in the heart of Paris Luxembourg Gardens with an array of theatre plays all days of the week. A must see with a friendly cafe to enjoy the day.

This theatre is one of my favourite in Paris. With his cinema, his restaurant, his bar, his bookshop and of cours his shows, this cultural place is full of life and a warm atmosphere. And you can have very advantagous prices thanks to their different tariff (senior, -26y...).
I leave here a note for Les Joues Rouge, a brilliant theatre company, which had astonished me with it rendition of L'Écume des Jours, and which enthousiasted me once again tonight with it adaptation of Bel-Ami.

Affordable bar & eatery to hang out either before or after a film or theatre. Cool area too. Cinema screens aren’t particularly large however good enough for films that are no longer in the larger cinemas. They could have installed better seats…

Enjoyed the bar very much. The service was ok, didn’t quite like the hygiene from the girl behind the bar tho - while watching how my cocktails are made, buuuut the rest was top.
I loved the smoke place, I’m just into cigars and I really enjoyed everything there. Will visit again when I’m in Paris, and I recommend the place for sure :)
Yusein Kerdakov - 7 months ago
The place was good and the vibe too, we asked the owner if we could smoke (vape) inside and he authorized.
The "security" came and randomly told was that smoke inside was not authorized, what made was uncomfortable and "killed" our vibe.
I do recommend but not for vape smokers.
It is a good place, kind good vibe but not good employers as "security".

It is an average place in my opinion. Not a very large selection of soft drinks and snacks. People are nice though and very kind. Wanted to
Spend an evening dancing salsa but only 4 people danced in total. Music doesn’t vary much but after all I would say it’s an ok place

Cocktails are fine. Waiter was super friendly. Air condition inside was not so good, so we went outside to enjoy the drinks but of course we then couldn't hear the music well. If you want to smoke cigars, this can be done in a different room which is very nice towards the other guests

The food was great! Both in terms of quantity and quality. We absolutely loved "Pollo Asado a la Cubana con arroz congrí". The food was very filling and a great deal with most dishes being between 15-17 euros. The cuban sangria was great as well! The people were very welcoming.

We had to experience the famous L’entrecote and we were staying only 10 minutes away from this branch. We got here around 15 minutes before opening and there was only a small queue in front of us which built up fairly quickly behind us. However, the restaurant was huge and I think it accommodated everyone in the queue when it opened at 6pm.
The highlight was definitely the service. Our server was absolutely delightful, as were all the other ones we saw working there.
The steak frite itself was fine, not an amazing steak but one that was cooked well. The fries were again good but nothing special. The portion was ok, not “huge” for the price. The sauce was what we came to try, it hard to describe what it tasted like. It wasn’t amazing but wasn’t terrible either, just different.
We enjoyed our time and the dinner here. However, for us i would say it’s not worth queueing up for a long time for it though, as I think for the price and the time you can probably get better meals. However, I couldn’t fault the service.

W O W!!! Arrived before 12 and seated immediately. Salad. And seasoned very well, not dripping yet super tasty, maybe the mustard flavor. But top! And the meat is fantastic. The first round I ordered half-cooked, to avoid blood and sauce. But instead rare is the best (the second round I ordered rare). The fries are fried perfectly, I only added some salt, but even then in the sauce they didn't become soggy. I'm super satisfied with this lunch.
and the environment is beautiful and the staff is kind. You can't reserve, so choose times close to opening or at least after the first round.
Maria Korac - 3 weeks ago
This place is worth a visit if you’re a steak lover, it's not an extreme top- notch though! Be prepared to wait outside, though — the line can stretch outside for almost an hour since the place is always buzzing with people. Once you’re seated, the staff is friendly and impressively quick, making the dining experience smooth despite the rush. I believe the servers are the star of the show.
Let's talk about the food: the green salad was humble in ingredients and size. The steak was tender, deliciously cooked, and paired with their signature rich , flavorful sauce along with french fries. They serve it in two rounds back-2-back and zI believe the portions are satisfying. The only downside is the tight spacing between tables, which can feel a bit cramped during peak times. I found it hard to maneuver taking some photos.
Overall, a nice meal with great service. just arrive early and bring a bit of patience!

I went to this place to see if it worth the hype or not. Short answer: Yes, it completely worth it.
⏰ I arrived at 19:15 on a weekday and waited for 30 minutes before getting a table. If you are alone or with one other person, probably you’ll get you table sooner than bigger parties.
🧑🏻🍳 The staff were super friendly and nice and I should appreciate this for this amount of workload (If I were them, I wouldn’t be this nice for sure😂). They even apologized for the wait I had although I knew about it beforehand.
🥗 The salad they brought before main dish was just good. Nothing special about it.
🥩 The meat was perfectly cooked to the level I had been ordered. It’s very tasty and the special sauce makes it a fantastic experience. The portions are also generous and won’t leave the place hungry.
💯 To wrap up: Don’t expect the best steak of your life in terms of taste, but if you are looking for a perfect experience in Paris, you can not miss this place.
Behnam - 3 months ago
We decided to finally try the famous L’Entrecôte de Paris, and ended up waiting about 15 minutes in the queue.
The service was definitely the best part of the experience.
As for the food, the steak-frites was good but not exceptional. The steak was fine, the fries were tasty but not particularly special, and the portion felt small for the price. The signature sauce was the element we were most curious about — unique in flavor, a bit hard to describe, and while interesting, it didn’t fully wow us.
Overall, we enjoyed our time and the classic brasserie atmosphere. But for me, it’s not worth waiting in a long line. For the same price and time, you can definitely find better meals in Paris.

Initially picked this place as it was a Lost Generation haunt, a must see for fans of Hemingway, Stein, etc. Went on Sunday evening and easily secured a table. The décor was transformative to another time, preserving its warmth, charm and elegance. The food was delicious. Very reasonably priced (especially when compared to his other haunts, the Ritz :)) My one and only complaint was a couple with a small dog brought it into the restaurant where it sat in a char and then walked on the table. It’s unhygienic practice and something that makes me shudder in any setting where I am eating. Would still 10/10 recommend however.

It's hard to get a table at this restaurant, but it's definitely worth fighting for one.
We had a full spectrum of dishes, from fish to pasta, and I can confidently say that La Rotonde serves excellent food. Everything was fresh, fragrant, and served without delay. I particularly enjoyed the aperitif. A special mention to the chef for the Smoked Haddock in Cream and Butter – the waiter tried to steer me away from this choice, thinking I wasn’t familiar with the dish, but I actually know it very well from the UK, where I worked. I love this dish, and the French chef made it even better than the versions I've had several times in London or Manchester. Delicious.
However, the biggest discovery of the evening for me was the wine. I really regret not writing down its name, but it was outstanding – a red wine (rich, bold flavor profile with lingering fruitiness and a soft, velvety texture in the end -WOW!), and by far the best I've ever had in a restaurant. I love sweet things, so as usual, I ordered dessert.
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The Mont Blanc dessert, although it looked fantastic, turned out to be simply unappetizing in taste – this dish definitely needs improvement.
I would have given La Rotonde 5 stars if it weren't for the dessert.
I highly recommend this place, despite prices being about 20% above average – it's worth it, beautiful setting, professional service, and great food.

An institution and a must visit. English was not an issue. This place very ornate and engaging. Our service was first class. Our hanger steak and Halibut were prepared perfectly. The real star was the Frisée salad. Omg! We had the profiterole for dessert. The ice cream and chocolate were incredible. Prices were very reasonable. The area around it also spectacular.

Our second trip. Love the lunch options, they are yummy and made in-house by people who obvi care about food! Each portion is about 7in in diameter, individually portioned, not cut from a larger quiche or something. We had the beef lasagne, a quiche, and something described as "french beef" in the English menu, but turned out to be sth like a shephard's pie -- tender beef under a layer of mashed potatoes. The only thing I would skip is the "chocolate cake" on the English menu -- it was a slice from a chocolate loaf cake, so not what I expected (also a bit dry). If they have the apricot tart however, you should 1000% get that. It's in a individual tart with only a little bit of almond paste and a lot of super fresh apricots and a touch of fresh rosemary. The best dessert we had on this trip!

Nice little café to stop by for a quick snack or a casual break. The fresh orange juice was surprisingly good and refreshing. Coffee was a bit of a letdown—lacked depth and flavor. Cookies and croissants were decent, exactly what you’d expect from a standard neighborhood spot. Not a destination café, but convenient and fine for a light bite. Quite noisy road just next to the outdoor seats

Warm and attentive service, atmosphere is good, but the new apricot tartelette tasted flat and overly sweet. The croissant was average.

The service was Excellent and the food and drinks were Amazing. My Wife and I were visiting Paris for the first time, and I wanted to go to a place where the American Authors frequented. When I asked the Maitre D where F. Scott Fitzgerald would sit, he sat us in a nice booth next to the bar- he know exactly what I wanted. I ate snails for the first time so I would highly suggest those. The customers were also sophisticated and nicely dressed, relaxed, and all seemed to be in deep conversation- either about politics or literature or something academic. Honestly, I don't speak French but it still seemed like it could've been either of the aforementioned. No one talks loud, but just the right tone. And we all (the entire restaurant) enjoyed ourselves on that Saturday night, as if we were all on the same page. Our service was Excellent, and I'll definitely come back again. I miss and love Paris

However, I found tall the plates somewhat boring. Nothing interesting for the price tag I eould have expected something more special in taste and presentation. 58eur menu and some choices are even extra on top and drinks plus.. could be a solid 4star for half the price

Fantastic place with great selection of beers. Came back every day while staying in Paris. The food was also superb - pasta and burgers were great. The staff is very welcoming and kind, special thanks to Ryan who was super nice - we asked him if we could buy 2 glasses of a Parisian beer we really enjoyed and after checking with his boss they gave them to us for free. The cherry on top was the awesome metal music they were playing(I came to Paris to see Gojira) which was the right volume for easily having a conversation.

I’ve been to this cool pub on rue de, not boulevard du Montparnasse, a number times to enjoy their innumerable selection of beers, some very good food and service par excellence. Last September I had lunch there with my brother. I jokingly told the manager that I liked my beer glass so much that I was going to steal it. He laughed heartily. When I paid the bill, he gave me the glass, washed and dried, as a memento of our visit.
🤙🏽 Le Falstaff is a required stop on my Paris trips.
By the way, the glass made it home in one piece…
