5 Star Rating Absolutely fantastic meal. Easily the best food I had on my Paris trip. The mushroom velouté was rich and comforting, the roasted leeks beautifully done, and the salmon was perfectly cooked with crisp skin and great flavour. The crème brûlée was classic, with a perfect caramelised top. Service was excellent throughout—professional, attentive, and efficient without being rushed.

5 Star Rating An unforgettable evening at a true Parisian institution! Stepping into La Coupole is like walking back in time to the glamorous Roaring Twenties. The grand Art Deco dining hall is absolutely magnificent, buzzing with an energy that is both elegant and historic. It is the quintessential Parisian brasserie experience from the moment you arrive. We dove into the menu by ordering a few classics, and each was a testament to French culinary tradition. The seafood platter was a highlight—the oysters were impeccably fresh with a clean, briny flavor, and the whelks were tender and delicious. The French onion soup was perfection in a bowl; a deeply rich, savory broth hidden beneath a glorious, bubbly cap of perfectly browned Gruyère cheese. We also savored the foie gras, which was silky and decadent, beautifully paired with a fruit compote. Even the quality of the bread and the accompanying Charentes-Poitou butter spoke volumes about their commitment to quality. For the main course, we had the pan-seared sea bass served over orzo. The skin was wonderfully crisped and offered a fantastic texture. While the fish itself was a little drier than I would have preferred, this minor point was easily overlooked when enjoyed with the incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked orzo it rested upon. Overall, the experience was absolutely 5-star. The service was professional and attentive, and the atmosphere is simply unmatched. Dining at La Coupole is a must-do for anyone seeking to immerse themselves in the history, culture, and flavor of Paris.

5 Star Rating I attended this wonderful restaurant with my family as we were celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. We were welcomed by Abdel, who made the experience brilliant. His sense of humour and his kindness were exemplary. My mother in law became unwell during dinner (nothing to do with the food which was delicious) and he helped me attend to her quickly, ensuring we could relocate out to the veranda once she had started to feel better so she could get fresh air and finish her evening comfortably. I would come back here in a heartbeat and very much hope to see Abdel when I return. Thank you for helping ensure our memories of the evening are only positive 🩷

5 Star Rating We stopped for dinner mid-week late January. The restaurant was full. When we arrived the lady at front of house gave us a ticket to wait for a table and said we were “Earnest Hemingway” for the evening. We sat at the bar with a drink waiting to be called for an available table. After 30+mins, we realised other guests, who arrived later than us, had been seated. I went to speak to front of house, who looked at her list and realised we’d been forgotten. We were shown to a table in this very large open restaurant. Art deco decor and friezes on the walls. We enjoyed the Moules and frittes, which was plentiful. We chose a muscadet wine to accompany the dish. We chose the Mont Blanc desert with crème marron. When the bill arrived two drinks had been deducted as way of apology for the oversight of allocating us a table.

4 Star Rating Enjoyed the bar very much. The service was ok, didn’t quite like the hygiene from the girl behind the bar tho - while watching how my cocktails are made, buuuut the rest was top. I loved the smoke place, I’m just into cigars and I really enjoyed everything there. Will visit again when I’m in Paris, and I recommend the place for sure :)

2 Star Rating The establishment itself is quite pleasant, and the staff are generally friendly and courteous. However, upon arrival, we were not welcomed promptly and had to wait several minutes before being attended to, which detracted from the initial impression. I also had the opportunity to try the cigar lounge, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The ventilation is notably inadequate for a space dedicated to cigars, resulting in an overwhelmingly smoky and uncomfortable environment. I would strongly recommend that management reassess and significantly improve the aeration system, as it greatly impacts the overall experience. Additionally, the pricing of the drinks is relatively high compared to the level of comfort provided. Given these factors, I would not recommend the cigar lounge in its current state.

3 Star Rating The place was good and the vibe too, we asked the owner if we could smoke (vape) inside and he authorized. The "security" came and randomly told was that smoke inside was not authorized, what made was uncomfortable and "killed" our vibe. I do recommend but not for vape smokers. It is a good place, kind good vibe but not good employers as "security".

5 Star Rating We tried Le Relais de l’Entrecôte (Montparnasse branch) and it was honestly such a great experience. We had to wait around 10-15 minutes, which is actually perfect for this place, it’s always packed, so that felt very reasonable! As usual, there’s no menu for the main dish, just how you like your steak. We ordered it à point. We started with the famous walnut salad, which was super fresh with a really nice, generous touch of Dijon mustard in the dressing. Simple but so good. Then came the steak… cooked perfectly, tender, and served with their iconic secret sauce, absolutely delicious. And of course, a big portion of crispy fries. The best part of the concept is that you actually get a second serving of steak and fries once you finish the first one, which makes it even better. We also ordered dessert and it was just as delicious, the perfect way to end the meal. Service was fast and efficient despite the restaurant being crowded (as always).

5 Star Rating This is a popular steakhouse in Paris, so expect a long queue. We arrived around 10 pm and saw a long line of people waiting to be seated. Luckily, we were able to cut the wait time in half when an outdoor table opened up. There is no menu and it's expected that you're there for the steak frites. They will ask if you want wine, how you like your steak cooked, and if you would like dessert. The salad comes first as an appetizer and is quite simple with some dressing. Next came the first serving of steak frites. Then, the waitresses will bring out the second serving once they see that you're finished. I had a good time eating the steak frites, both the steak and fries were pretty good. The steak included their green sauce, which was a tasteful addition to the dish. The portion size was perfect as well and the price was affordable. The only negative part of my dining experience here was the long wait for service. It took a while for the second serving of steak frites to arrive and also for the bill. I was quite tired from the long day and wanted to quickly return to the hotel to shower and sleep.

4 Star Rating Something so simple, but done right. you are only asked how you want your steak cooked. the menu is steak frites with a salad as entrée and a dessert. No fluff but well executed. the kitchen and service timing are exicuted with precision. you get an initial service and the rest of your steak and fries is kept at temperature for your second serving. The sauce is divine. I got there at the beginning of service and there was a queue of tourists like myself

5 Star Rating I don’t know if there are actually words that can properly describe the incredible experience I had at this restaurant today. It came highly recommended from a friend who lives in France. It hit every mark I have told about 100 people about this restaurant today and shared these pictures. Enzo was an incredible server who I would highly recommend to anyone. I’d probably hire him for my company. I can’t wait to go back here. Everything was as good as it could possibly be in every aspect. I went specifically for an onion soup and ended up getting the best oysters I’ve ever had an incredible leg of lamb and the onion soup was absolutely phenomenal. 10 stars.

5 Star Rating Went to La Rotonde for a father-daughter dinner and had a really great evening. Classic French food done properly, relaxed atmosphere and genuinely attentive service. Our waiter was fantastic with my 10-year-old and even helped us navigate the escargots without making us feel like confused tourists. Small touch, but very appreciated. You can still feel a bit of the old Belle Époque and avant-garde Paris atmosphere there. In the end, that’s what makes the place special even more than the food itself.

3 Star Rating I was so excited to come here during my visit to Paris, as it’s such a cultural icon- a historic haunt of great writers and artists. Unfortunately, as a solo diner, I was seated at a table wedged between the front door and the server station, despite many other tables being available. Instead of ambiance and art, I got a view of the door and the constant clanging of silverware. Additionally, the service felt dismissive throughout the meal: bread was slammed onto the table, and the spoon for my main course was tossed down rather than placed. The food itself was excellent and quintessentially French, but at this price point, you’re also paying for the experience and hospitality- and that part simply wasn’t there. :(

5 Star Rating An exceptional classic French dining experience at La Rotonde. From start to finish, everything was done right. The steak tartare was excellent — freshly prepared, well-seasoned, and perfectly balanced, showcasing the quality of the beef. The main courses were equally impressive, especially the steak, cooked beautifully and served with rich, flavourful sauce and classic French sides. The pommes were crisp and golden, exactly how traditional French potatoes should be, and the overall presentation stayed true to timeless Parisian brasserie style. Portions were generous without being excessive. Service was professional, attentive, and smooth without feeling rushed, even during busy hours. The atmosphere carries real Paris history — elegant, lively, and full of character. A must-visit if you appreciate authentic French cuisine, classic techniques, and old-school Paris charm. Would gladly return. Highly recommended.

5 Star Rating Our second trip. Love the lunch options, they are yummy and made in-house by people who obvi care about food! Each portion is about 7in in diameter, individually portioned, not cut from a larger quiche or something. We had the beef lasagne, a quiche, and something described as "french beef" in the English menu, but turned out to be sth like a shephard's pie -- tender beef under a layer of mashed potatoes. The only thing I would skip is the "chocolate cake" on the English menu -- it was a slice from a chocolate loaf cake, so not what I expected (also a bit dry). If they have the apricot tart however, you should 1000% get that. It's in a individual tart with only a little bit of almond paste and a lot of super fresh apricots and a touch of fresh rosemary. The best dessert we had on this trip!

5 Star Rating Hidden gem, in plain sight. Wait staff was phenomenal. I can't tell you how frenetic they were racing around the restaurant as they maneuvered through the small areas between all the tables. The escargot was amazing. The onion soup was a top ten. My wife had the Ceasar Salad and the chicken that came with it was plentiful and the dressing was very light yet robust. We are spending 3.5 days here and hope to make it there one more time before we go. I hope to update with more pictures, too. If I don't get the chance, you can treat this review as a solid recommendation to have some wonderfully delicious food, and watch the wait staff effortlessly glide through the small spaces between tables and chairs and wonder how they do it.

5 Star Rating The service was Excellent and the food and drinks were Amazing. My Wife and I were visiting Paris for the first time, and I wanted to go to a place where the American Authors frequented. When I asked the Maitre D where F. Scott Fitzgerald would sit, he sat us in a nice booth next to the bar- he know exactly what I wanted. I ate snails for the first time so I would highly suggest those. The customers were also sophisticated and nicely dressed, relaxed, and all seemed to be in deep conversation- either about politics or literature or something academic. Honestly, I don't speak French but it still seemed like it could've been either of the aforementioned. No one talks loud, but just the right tone. And we all (the entire restaurant) enjoyed ourselves on that Saturday night, as if we were all on the same page. Our service was Excellent, and I'll definitely come back again. I miss and love Paris

Might need to reserve a table during a busy time but we were accommodated pretty quickly with a party of five. Be prepared for loud music, at least during dinner when we went. They actually turned off all the lights at one point to light a cake and play a happy birthday song.

4 Star Rating The food was nice, the portion was fair. Everything was 15 euros. The staff very friendly and fun. The music can go a bit too loud sometimes, but, hey, people want to dance 😂
