💰 €98 for two on a Sunday lunch (6 oysters, veal liver, beef tartare, bone marrow, 2 glasses of wine). Two coffees were added to the bill even though they were not ordered ⚠️ which makes an already high value-for-money ratio even worse. In addition, there was a mistake with the wine order, and the glasses served were dirty, still wet, and stained with wine, which is hardly acceptable given the prices charged and the supposed level of the establishment. 🍷😕 Good quality products. A good traditional Parisian brasserie, very classical French dishes, with the advantage of long opening hours, but very — even overly — busy on weekends. For a Sunday around 1pm, expect about a 30-minute wait. At that time, the place is extremely noisy. A major issue with the service due to an obvious lack of staff (and training?) : servers are clearly overworked and therefore not always efficient (no water carafe and billing issue). Worth doing once, but best avoided on weekends or during classic lunch/dinner hours. At this price/quality, in the Abbesses area, La Mascotte is a much better option. Add in Saint-Germain: for the same price/quality, you’re better off going to Brasserie Lipp. Or, for a much cheaper option with a good overall experience, try Bouillon Chartier, near Grands Boulevards metro.

Typical French brasserie. We had a menu for lunch, good thing is that it’s open all day so you do not depend on the kitchen hours.

We were very impressed by the restaurant Wepler in France! The service was outstanding — our waiter, a well-mannered French gentleman, was the epitome of professionalism. Everything was handled with care, respect, and attention to detail. If only all places had such excellent service! The food was also delicious and beautifully presented. This restaurant left us with a truly positive impression. Highly recommended!

It takes my nephew’s visit from the US to discover this gem of a centennial restaurant.
The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming, the service impeccable.
The menu is all inclusive end to end from a sumptuous fruit de mer entree to the final coffee capped with a delicious crème brûlée.
I had the delight to finally meet a true confit de canard that melted in your mouth. My compliments to the chef and especially to our friendly server who made the experience more enjoyable. Did I mention a truly remarkable price for such quality meals and service?
We will come back soon!

Food was excellent and well priced too.

Delicious blue cheese burger with a generous portion of fries. Service was great, both waitresses who served me on Friday evening were friendly and attentive. My beer arrived within a minute of ordering, thanks!

A family visit for lunch. Very nice place and good service. Both kids and adults enjoyed the place and the food. Very quick service and the food was very good and comes with an affordable price. Recommened.

We only stopped in for coffee as we were walking through the artsy part of Paris. The staff was nice and when I told them that was actually from Indiana, they gave us some souvenirs. That was nice. Typical prices for Paris. Only a few blocks from the Moulan Rouge, and several other must see sites.

My salmon was undercooked inside....but it's Paris....so I wasn't going to argue with the cook on what is considered cooked Salmon Pave.....However the Plate Presentation was very nice!!
But service was just so so...I seated myself, which is fine...Its Clichy street..They are very busy....But After delivering my food nobody came back to ask me how I was doing or Am I enjoying my food... offer me any bread( baguette)on the side..They simply came back when the plate was done ...I took the bill and left quickly as I did not enjoy a service that much

The only real sushi I’ve had in Paris. The quality of the fish is insane and every dish is just out of this world. Great quality/price

Freshest & most authentic Japanese food I’ve had in Paris after living here for 10 years! And the price is astonishingly reasonable. It’s a very tiny spot with one server who runs up & down the stairs non stop. Respect!

Excellent authentique Japanese 🇯🇵
The restaurant provides various and well-known Japanese dishes e.g. sushi, sashimi, and bento
The food was as good as the dessert. Unfortunately there's very limited place to eat in.

I always visit this place when I am in Paris, it's just good well kept beer. I had a pint of Haras red beer, excellent can't wait to have another, maybe next week
Mostly here during the afternoon when it can be quite quiet, but easy to get served. The staff are very genuine, i was in last week, and the barman was so helpful and kind, I won't identify him in case he would not want me too. What with good staff and good beer, I will continue to enjoy my visits here. Cheers.

We lunched here on a Tuesday. Excellent salads, great stout and friendly service, in French, English or Irish. It was a quiet day with only 3 patrons; what are the chances of three aussies all being in the very same Irish pub in Paris on the very same day?

Great Irish Bar in Moulin Rouge area!! Great bartender with welcoming attitude. Come her after work or if you’re visiting like us. You can’t go wrong at this bar and April April 2025 great prices too!

Was there for the 6 nations game, the Guinness was fizzy and the beer was flat we had to switch to bottles. But good craic ahead of the match.

Omg this place was such a sanctuary !! The staff were so nice and helpful! Their recommendations were excellent. The fish and chips ARE SO GOOD( from an Americans point of view.) Their burger is delicious. Everything is big and worth the price. Their beer on tap is excellent. They have football (soccer) on the TV's. It has a good vibe and the bathroom is clean and easy to locate (the sinks have a paddle thing at the bottom you step on to turn on).

Went here on a whim and it was decent, nothing mind blowing but it was quick service and quality food. Carbonara was good and there are plenty of drink options on the menu. Both indoor and outdoor seating is ample.

Amazing experience. The food was excellent, the price in line with Paris' prices (even a little lower). But the most wonderful thing was to meet Vincenzo, the waiter. Really professional, we had a good talk in italian with him.
We recommend this place to any italian who want to have a really good meal with a good experience, and to every tourist who want to taste the real italian food.
Last but not least, there's a lot of space between the tables, which is hard to find in Paris.

Truly an amazing stop, if your in Paris and in the mood for Italian food, definitely come here. This place’s pasta is some of the tastiest out there. Any dish with truffles is really good. Also, the 4 cheese pasta I ordered had creamy cheese with pasta cooked to perfection. You definitely should stop by here.

The food is on my regular standard, nothing special but very quantitative an big portion for the price.
The service was slow as there were only 2 waiters on such as big restaurants.

Maybe I caught them on a bad night because my experience was nothing like most of the reviews I read.
I went because I saw their ad on the window for Steak and Fries for 13.90€ and was looking for a relatively cheap and cheerful meal. I ordered the steak medium and a glass of wine (5.90€). My server, who may have been the owner, asked if I wanted an entree. I said no, but he opened the menu to the entree page and suggested two options. I eventually was convinced to order the Tartine Chèvre. He then asked if I wanted still or sparkling water to which I said still (expecting a carafe of tap water). He asked big or small I said just small. So my wine was brought out and a bottle of water. So I knew I would now be paying for water I didn’t really want either. A basket with two bread rolls also came out, which I didn’t touch because I thought that would also be an unexplained additional charge.
The entree came out soon enough. It was nice but a very small portion for almost 7€. A few slices of cheese on a small piece of bread and a bit of salad.
About 15 minutes after I finished the entree the other waiter collected my plate and asked if so was finished. I said yes, but I was still waiting for my main. He didn’t really understand (which is fine, because I don’t speak French and don’t expect everyone to speak English). He brought the menu to me as if I needed to order and I said no I have ordered already and pointed to the steak advert. He looked at his tablet and seemed to understand what had happened. It seems my order was forgotten. It had already been over 30 mins since I ordered, and a table of 4 next to me who arrived after I ordered had completed their meal before my main finally arrived, about another 10 mins later.
The chips were fine but the steak was a sad piece of meat, barely seared on the outside and pretty much raw in the middle.
When I finshed I was asked if I wanted dessert. I said no thanks and asked for the bill. The waiter then seems to do everything he could except bring my bill. So after another almost 10 minutes, I managed to catch his eye again and he brought it over. Not unexpected, the small bottle of still water was 4.20€.
So my quick, cheap and cheerful meal was long, sad and disappointing. I didn’t feel welcome. I felt like an easy up-sell target and that I had somehow annoyed them. Maybe by not ordering enough food?
It wasn’t particularly busy, so I really don’t know what the problem was. But based on my experience I would not recommend this place.

I always liked that place. Their selection of fresh juice is probably unbeatable, but don't quote me on it (I did say probably). The food I had there ranged from meh to good, but the juice, in terms of quality, freshness and taste was always great. Value could definitely be better, but hey, it's Paris.

I can't comment on the food. We just dropped by spontaneously in the evening for a beer after work. The bar has a great atmosphere and football was playing on the screens. The prices are also really good. We'll definitely be back!

There are QR codes on the tables encouraging guests to leave a review with the chance to win a free beer or cocktail. Unfortunately, it is not clearly stated at the beginning that the “prize” can only be redeemed the next day.
For tourists or short-term visitors, this is quite misleading, as in practice you may never be able to claim the reward. It would be much fairer to communicate these conditions clearly from the start to avoid disappointment.
Prices are reasonable, but the overall quality is average.

Lovely place, great staff, and always a nice spot to organize a party. There is a pool / billiards table that's quite big for the feel.

Cute and old spot. Food was fantastic and portions were big. Very nice hostess and waitress. Only downside is 8€ for a can of soft drink like coke or lemonade.

This was our third visit and it didn’t disappoint. The restaurant is small and cosy and the host Jacqueline is full of French charisma! The food is excellent and there is a comprehensive wine list that Jacqueline can advise on if you’re not sure. Note the food menu is not extensive but I urge you to see that as an absolute positive - these are expertly crafted dishes rather than plates of food rushed out of the door.
It’s always food food, good service from Jacqueline and her staff and good wine. You’d be crazy not to go!

Our BEST meal in France. Food was wonderful and so flavorful. If something sounds exotic or odd, just trust. Nothing on the menu disappoints. Especially recommended the chicken and the beef bourguignon as well as the crayfish appetizer. Service was amazing, and staff were very good at explaining the dishes. Plates also came out with some extra sides. The restaurant itself was very homey and cozy. Traditional French recipes like grandmother would make.

What a warm welcome, what a wonderful atmosphere. From the moment we arrived we were fully looked after by the owner. Multilingual language skills, reliable information about wine and food. The onion soup is worth the long journey, the jus for the chicken made from mustard and a delicate hint of vanilla is an excellent treat for the palate. Accompanied by good quality house wines, red and white, we were thrilled and will come back...

I came here for lunch on Friday without a reservation, which was no problem. The host was friendly and she seated me right away. The host speaks English so it's no problem if you're an American or foreigner. The space is tight inside so I would recommend making a reservation for large groups.
I had the lunch special (app-main-wine-coffee) and ordered escargot, beef pastrami with eggs, and red wine. Everything was delectable and made to perfection 👌🏻
Note that the service and pace at resturants in Paris are slow compared to American standards. The French certainly take their time to enjoy their meals and leisure. Come in, slow down, and enjoy a traditional home cooked French meal at Le Bouclard 🍽
