My experience at Le Wepler in Paris was unfortunately quite disappointing. Despite its great location at Place de Clichy, right by the metro, the reality didn't live up to the expectations. The seating in the restaurant was uncomfortable, which really took away from the overall dining experience. To make matters worse, the service was extremely slow. It felt like the wait staff didn't really care about our needs, which was quite disheartening. One incident that stood out was when we tried to split the bill. At first, we were told that it wasn't possible, only to be told later by another waiter that it could be done. By that point, it was too late and this inconsistency only added to our frustration. The staff came across as incompetent and distant, lacking the warmth and efficiency that one would expect from a Parisian café known for its seafood platter and traditional French dishes like sauerkraut and onion soup. The food presentation was decent, but it couldn't compensate for the lackluster service and the overall atmosphere of the place. Le Wepler, with its art deco style and historical significance as a renowned spot in Paris, had the potential to offer a memorable dining experience. However, the issues with the service significantly marred our visit. It might appeal to those seeking a convenient stop near the metro in the 18th arrondissement, but based on my personal experience, I would be hesitant to recommend it.

We had the plateau de fruits de mer (x3!). Excellent. Fresh, great choice, generous and good price...IMO.....the cherry on the top was the lovely service from everyone we interacted with. In particular, our waitress was a star. Genuinely friendly and equally helpful. I also really liked the reservation system. No credit card deposit is required. A place with no chi-chi (not pretentious) and tables which aren't centimetres apart (!), which I really like. Would thoroughly recommend if you like seafood in a relaxed yet artistically authentic environment.

Amou was incredible! He gave us wonderful food suggestions and was incredible throughout the whole of the night. His professionalism and good nature made it an incredible experience and wonderful evening full of laughter and amazing moments. Thank you Amou for taking such good care of us and being patient with us. The food was delicious, flavourful and the seafood section of the menu tailors to the many tastes of everyone. Excellent authentique Japanese 🇯🇵 The restaurant provides various and well-known Japanese dishes e.g. sushi, sashimi, and bento The food was as good as the dessert. Unfortunately there's very limited place to eat in.

Good value and nice staff. The rice could be much improved but there aren’t very many great Japanese options it seems in Paris. This will hit the spot for most people, unless you’ve been overly spoiled by the Japanese food in Japan or New York.

This was only original authentic Japanese restaurant in district 8 in Paris. Chef is from famous beef city Kobe which is also known for great sushi and other Western Japanese cuisine. I loved chirashi special and unagi-don. It was a bit pricey than other Japanese restaurants but this place was high class quality Japanese food. And Ioved it so much. Only downside was ..small space in restaurant but you can always take out. I visited almost everyday since I found this place. Enjoy real Sushi in Paris!!!

I unfortunately watched Wales lose to Italy, but it was in a bar with friendly people and great service. The price of drinks was very reasonable, and I would say it was the best Irish bar out of several in area, although none are really remotely like a bar in Ireland.

Fearghal was our bartender. He was funny and kept us entertained. We popped in there for a couple of pints to get out of the cold, and we're glad that we did! The place was empty and that made us feel calm. And the restrooms downstairs were clean.

Omg this place was such a sanctuary !! The staff were so nice and helpful! Their recommendations were excellent. The fish and chips ARE SO GOOD( from an Americans point of view.) Their burger is delicious. Everything is big and worth the price. Their beer on tap is excellent. They have football (soccer) on the TV's. It has a good vibe and the bathroom is clean and easy to locate (the sinks have a paddle thing at the bottom you step on to turn on).

Not too bad chain restaurant, just wished some of the meats could have a thicker cut. For the Rib-Eye, asked for it to be cooked medium-rare, but it came out well-done. I could understand since the steak was very thin, so it wasn’t really anyone’s fault, just wished I knew beforehand and would’ve ordered another steak that can be cooked medium-rare. Other steaks that my friends had however, delicious.

We had a late night dinner at this place, everyone was nice and helpful. We ordered an onion soup, which was okay, then flank steak with fries. The meat seemed small but in the end I was perfectly full, and the sauce was really good.

We ordered 1 kilo of steak in medium cooked but it turns out not all parts are cooked! Some are raw and other part are burnt . Anyway to be honest the steak is not tasty as to my expectation. It’s bland even if I had a pepper sauce and Salt. Not a worth to a very slow and long wait service. Well the place is nice and the staff is very friendly and they speak English.

Truly an amazing stop, if your in Paris and in the mood for Italian food, definitely come here. This place’s pasta is some of the tastiest out there. Any dish with truffles is really good. Also, the 4 cheese pasta I ordered had creamy cheese with pasta cooked to perfection. You definitely should stop by here.

Best pizza and carbonara I’ve had in a long time. Reasonably priced, food nice and hot, fantastic quality fresh ingredients, it all tasted unreal. Really pretty atmosphere and decor, staff really friendly and chatty, would definitely go back!

Unfortunately, the food leaves a lot to be desired. Quite a bit of my pasta were sticked together. The worst were 4 pieces of the pappardelle together, causing the middle ones to be tasteless and undercooked. Also, the pappardelle tasted like one of the standard dried pasta that you can find in supermarket. Pistachio tiramisu was alright, but I'll probably choose a normal tiramisu over this.

What is there to say, finally an Italian restaurant that deserves to be called as such. The food is exquisite and the pasta was perfectly cooked (al dente) as it should be. The staff are incredibly professional and polite. If you're looking for an Italian restaurant that takes you to Italy with the benefit of being up the road from the Moulin Rouge then Le Petit Amalfi is your place.

Visited this place on our first night in Paris and the staff was very friendly and the food was amazing!! Get their seafood pasta and the gnocchi! We went back for dinner again while we were in town and the staff remembered us from a few nights prior and were even nicer! 10/10!

The café/restaurant is very nicely decorated and the atmosphere is very cozy. The service is very nice and fast! The food is very tasty and almost only contains fruit. Perfect food for children such as: pancakes and waffles.

What an amazing restaurant! I have been here 3 times during my weekend stay. The Sunday brunch was absolutely fantastic and the service and atmosphere was very comfortable. Our waiter Gabriel was fantastic, very helpful and welcoming. I would definitely come back again.

After being out practically all day long, I am happy I chose to eat here! Yannick and the staff were professional, friendly and very kind! The food and beverages were delicious and fresh! I had the Josephine Baker smoothie drink. I had this before & bought a small size at another location a couple of days ago. It was so delicious, I came back and ordered a large this time! LOL I really enjoyed this restaurant. I went here twice! Bonne Année 2023!

What a warm welcome, what a wonderful atmosphere. From the moment we arrived we were fully looked after by the owner. Multilingual language skills, reliable information about wine and food. The onion soup is worth the long journey, the jus for the chicken made from mustard and a delicate hint of vanilla is an excellent treat for the palate. Accompanied by good quality house wines, red and white, we were thrilled and will come back...

Superb! We made two reservations as we had a group of eight, and they accommodated us in sitting altogether. Food was delicious. What we ordered: escargot, crayfish tails, foie gras (order the one that comes with boiled potatoes), mushrooms, onion soup, veal breast, beef pastrami, chicken and the chateaubriand – everything was perfectly cooked with amazing flavor. Wine suggestions were also perfect in pairing with the meal. Service was efficient and they ensured we were well taken care of. Bread was refilled as needed, as were beverages. Takes cards. Make that reservation, it will be worth it.

Had dinner here after a bit of shopping. They had vegan options and were kind enough to make some swaps. A little expensive for what you get but they make up for it in service and the ambiance of the place. At this restaurant I visited a few days ago, I met the best kimchi stew of my life! It is not a Korean food with a strange taste modified to suit the local area, but a real depth and taste of the original Korean food! The small-sized seafood green onion pancake I ate as an appetizer was also excellent. I understood why many certification stickers on the restaurant show window were attached. It will be a very valuable experience not only for Korean travelers who miss Korean food but also for French people who are curious about Korean food culture! I highly recommend it!
