5 Star Rating A cute place in st.louis my sister went to before and decided to return together. We all enjoyed the dinner very much, friendly services and great dishes. The whole place smelled like truffle (which I love but not for some other people). Had an artichoke salad and duck fillets. Really well cooked and seasoned. Highly recommend.

4 Star Rating Perfectly acceptable classic French food, however for the price I would have expected a bit more imagination and inventiveness with the food. Also worth noting my Steak Entrecote was a lot tougher than you would expect. I have to admit it was an excellent creme brulee though.

3 Star Rating We came here because one of the members of our party wanted to have the quintessential 'French-cuisine' experience while we were in Paris - Chez Julien fits that bill. Located just off the Seine, it's oozing with classic French charm. My colleagues thought their entrees - the duck and the lamb - were both very delicious. The rest of my review is solely based on my perspective as a vegan. I inquired before we were seated if they could accommodate vegan dietary restrictions to which the hostess said 'yes, we have a risotto with truffles'. When I told her that I was allergic to mushrooms and truffles, she said they van do one with vegetables instead. After seated, our waiter told me that the risotto could not be made without truffles. Scouring the French language -only menu with Google translate, I was able to identify a few vegan sides that could be cobbled together for dinner. I received a plate of steamed veggies: broccoli, green beans and snap peas + a 'sprout' salad + a side of black rice. The veggies were fine. No additional flavor...just steamed. The salad only had rocket no actual sprouts. The black rice was a bit under cooked. This dining experience reinforced my perception that French cuisine is not adaptable to a vegan diet.

4 Star Rating Quintessentially French bistro with history dating back to 1780 and decor representing the Belle Époque era of the late 1800’s, early 1900’s. I was captivated at first but after 10-15 minutes without a server, the dream began to fade. Eventually, our orders were placed but the cuisine was surprisingly lackluster, aside from the delicious escargots. We ordered the duck prepared two ways and the crispy prawns. The duck was rich but uninspired. The prawns were crunchy but the sauce was almost like a sweet ketchup. Hard to believe but true. Overall, it was a nice experience but not a recommended one. Maybe for breakfast or lunch…

4 Star Rating Lovely restaurant ❤️ The vibe of the restaurant is very interesting and cozy inside. We sat in the wintergarden where the atmosphere was a little bit off. We shared the truffle risotto, it was amazing but it wasn’t quite done yet. Fries 🍟 were the bomb! And the salad 🥗 on the side was great too! 😋 Overall the restaurant was amazing but seemed to have the best years already behind its self.

5 Star Rating Absolutely fabulous❤️🤌🏻 This place has my heart! I haven’t tried the mains on the menu yet! I always go for pastas and they are irresistibly gorgeous! So delicious and Al dente just the way it should be! Nice, cute, tiny and cozy place. You must really be stupid if you have leftovers in your plate by the end of your meal😌 Staff is super friendly! Service 10/10 Ambience 10/10 (I personally love it) Food 11/10 Oh, and make sure you don’t leave the restaurant without having any desserts (even if you have diabetes or not😉) Panna Cotta is your love at first sight and it should be illegal to leave without having tiramisu! They are pretty generous with their portions. After all, its an Italian restaurant💁🏼‍♂️ Can’t wait for my next pasta day🥰🥰 This is my favourite Italian restaurant in Paris!

5 Star Rating Do NOT miss this place - it's fantastic! The food was exceptional as was the entertainment. I jad the perfect eggs appetizer which was delicious. For the entree, I had the "chateaubriand" and it was probably some of the best steak I've had in Paris. The vegetarian canneloni was great and the yellow poultry Supreme was incredible - the chicken was so good I wish we could have had more. (See pics of all). As good as the food was, however, the entertainment was even better! The singers were very accomplished and sand segments from various French, German and Italian operas. The men and women who sang were also quite entertaining: funny and charismatic. The pianist was fantastic, too. I highly recommend Bel Canto, Paris as a great place for a wonderful meal. Don't miss out!

5 Star Rating This place was one of the highlights of my trip to Paris. The decor is theatre-like with heavy curtains, and the nice red lamps on the table. The welcoming staff is nice and smiling. We went on a Wednesday and had the full lyrical menu for half the price. We loved being “serenaded” with arias of different, well-known opera plays. They took especially good care of an old gentleman who had his birthday that night. The food was truly good, full of flavour. I would definitely recommend this place!!!

5 Star Rating My favorite Japanese restaurant in Paris! They only bring red quality salmon and their prices are medium (almost the same with a normal sushi place in the city). Almost everything in the menu is excellent, but I highly recommend the Shake and Shake Nagi. I also love the edamame, and in this place they really taste like the original Japanese ones. As a soft drink I recommend the green tea without sugar or if it’s in the winter the hot green tea (excellent!). For desert you need to the mochi (the one with green tea!)! Photos with all these attached. Location is excellent, just next to Hôtel de Ville and close to Notre Dame, which makes it a very good place to stop for lunch or dinner, in between tourist activities. Since the size of the restaurant is quite small (around 36-40 places) their interior design is simple and clean with many Japanese like ornaments. I also attached photos of the menu (23.06.2019). Overall, I highly recommend this place.

5 Star Rating Popular and nice place to spend the evening. The vine range is really great, and professional personel will give you a hand if you need it, according to the choise of the food. But for me there is a little lack of main dishes (especially concerning French cuisine). Which make this place look a little bit as cafe to have a good time with vine and refreshements, than restaurant for celebration. Anyway steak and liver were great, profiteroles and almond pie were OK, and it looks like we can return here to taste another vine with some snaks 👍 P.S. be prepared to see high prices for a good quality.

We were greeted by such nice wait staff, actually all the staff we spoke to were very nice, went out of their way to make us comfortable, and praised our poor attempt at speaking French! (We tried!) We even met a Vietnamese speaking French waiter, David who was an absolute joy. So friendly, had good banter and just made our evening. 5 Star Rating Strolling along the rue Saint-Louis en l’Île when the girlfriend eyed this place, Amorino, and wanted her fix of gelato. “Hmmm”, me thinks, “competition for Bertillon, right under their noses" — or at least right down the street. Background, Bertillon was established in 1954 and as far as I know had for years pretty much owned this island’s ice cream business — and for good reason, it’s great with many amazing flavors. But apparently two friends of Italian origins decided to pursue their passion and open an Italian gelato shop a few doors down and Amorino was born in 2002… I’m only now discovering it. Apparently they have over 200 shops worldwide, including some 20 stores in the US: NYC, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, etc. The large selection of flavors, the generous serving, the presentation an elaborate work of art… Well, the girlfriend was abundantly happy with her beautifully crafted rose cone, each petal a different flavor, crowned with a tasty macaron. The staff were cheerful and eager to please, the ambiance was inviting and warm (and the gelato cold!): I’ve assigned them a well merited five stars. Shame we don’t have an Amorino here in Tucson, although I suppose our local Frost wouldn’t like that too much… :-) Hopefully your visit to Paris lasts longer than a day so you’ll have a chance to indulge yourself at both Amorino and Bertillon. Competition aside, they’re both great and equally deserving of your custom. Your sweet tooth will not be disappointed.

4 Star Rating Lined up for far too long, in the blazing heat, for what was supposed to be the highest rated gelato around. Was it good? Yeah sure it was. Was it the best gelato I've ever had? No, I don't think so. Was it worth waiting in line for 20minutes to get my hands on? Probably not. If you're after a gelato shaped like a flower, that you can eat in the street (only 3 seats inside) and have got a lot of time on your hands, then this might be for you.

5 Star Rating Omg! This gelato is amazing!! So smooth and creamy! There are also some some unique flavours available which I just had to try (and came back for seconds and thirds!). The flavour that stood out the most to me was the white chocolate, black pepper and tonka bean. Hard to describe tonka bean but it's like a nutty vanilla/cinnamon-esque spice and the black pepper balances the sweetness of the other flavours. So delicious!! Also absolutley love the signature flower look to the gelato cone. I topped it off with some vanilla whip/cream on top! Such a lovely indulgence. Next day I went back again this time opting for the classic cup with tiramsu and again my new favourite flavour - the tonka bean combo!! Also big shout out to staff members Pablo and Juilette! So friendly, helpful and patient with me when deciding on my flavours. Juilette created the most beautiful cone and delivered it with a smile. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend to stop in and treat yourself!

5 Star Rating Leo and Philippe are just the beginning of the amazing experience you will have at this little French gem located on Ile Saint’Louis in Paris. The food…world class. The drink…world class. And the service is everything one could hope for traveling abroad. Whether you speak English or French, they will have you covered. I would suggest the 46 euro 4 course menu that is far more food and value than any foodie could ask for. Starting with French onion soup, then a segue to duck confit with a light pause for all local french cheese only to be finished with a classic crème brûlée. Don’t let the local neighborhood charm fool you, this dinner spot deserves more stars than Google allows… and more diamonds than Michelin will give. This is that place the locals know and the tourists miss. We just got lucky. Thank you Leo and Philippe for a peak experience!

5 Star Rating Everything we ordered was very delicious! Their signature beef stew was tender and flavorful, and the french onion soup was one of our favorites, super cheesy and not too overpowering. Very approachable atmosphere and staff were friendly and helpful even though we couldn't speak much French, great service. Menu could accommodate one of our party with allergies. There were vegetarian options and a kids' menu as well. Restaurant is in a nice location and just down the street from the metro station. Awesome experience!!

5 Star Rating We had dinner here the night we arrived in Paris and it was a great start to our trip. Our table had a great view of the street traffic overlooking the patisserie across the road. The food we ordered was delicious and well timed. The highlight was the beef bourguignon which was not to be missed. Similar to beef brisket, the meat was very juicy and tender and easily melted in the mouth.

5 Star Rating Who can resist a rich, hearty, and cheese-loaded French onion soup! 🤤 The Beef Bourguignon 🐂 was very delicate, though some parts of the meat were a bit tough. Personally, I loved the parts with tendons because they were incredibly tender and soft. The small potatoes inside the dish were, for me, the highlight. They were super tiny, cute, and bouncy! 🥔

5 Star Rating Oh my god! Run, don’t walk but run to this place and make a reservation beforehand. This place was amazing, starting with super kind service and finishing with the food. Everything in this restaurant was perfect. There were no places but the manager squeezed us in for about 45 minutes, thank you so much! I had the most delicious beef bourguignon in my life. The meat was melting in your mouth - delicious! Must have at this place. We also had the duck foie gras which was something new for me and I fell in love with it immediately! The snails were also great. Basically what I’m trying to say is whatever you order you’re going to be provided with great service, waiters who are smiling and helpful, that’ll refill your water and bread basket without asking and you’re going to get one of the better cooked foods in France. Thank you once again for such an amazing experience!
