After hearing amazing recommendations, myself and my brother made it a priority to visit this restaurant during our trip from London.
Once we arrived, we were treated like kings and queens by the amazing Steven. He did everything in his power to make sure we were comfortable and served well.
I had trouble reading the menu. Steven went above and beyond to make sure I could translate the menu and order the appropriate food for myself. Steven was so kind, patient and attentive to myself and my brother. He took his time to answer my questions and explain the culture of French Africans in Paris.
The food I ate was amazing. The drinks were amazing. The whole restaurant experience was amazing. Thank you Steven for allowing us to have a lovely introduction to the black French experience! You were an amazing host and a highlight of our trip to Paris.
We look forward to visiting again

Best afro cuisine I've have since I've been in Europe. My meat plate for two was a little expensive 44.00 but dam good I'd eat it again just have. Drink was so good I order 3 even though it 7.00 a pop.

Best food I have had in Paris. Full of flavor, proper portions, best cocktails, great atmosphere (especially on a Saturday), excellent service and a wonderful representation of African culture and cuisine. 10/10 I would highly recommend. Moreover, remarkably affordable.

It is a medium class African restaurant w delicious food, friendly service, jovial clientele.. a great alternative when visiting flea market. Red rice isn’t up to our taste buds but certainly does not mean there is anything wrong with it.

This is now a pop up Libyan restaurant serving wraps mezes and salads. The food is made fresh and tasted great. The chicken wrap is like a schwrama and I really enjoyed it. Good menu with a good choice of food. A very good place to have a lunch takeaway. Would definitely recommend and go again

Burger King knock-off. Excellent food if you're drunk, otherwise meh. The service was really great at this location though. Friendly and accommodating given our French is terrible.

An amazing vibe, and the servers are lovely!! The cocktails are a little expensive but really well made. The food is not necessarily exceptional, but certainly not bad. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and decorations!

Beautiful and spacious venue in the 18th arrondissement that brings the neighborhood crowd as well as outsiders thanks to its reputation! The food is delicious and well executed with an Indian touch which I personally love. I've been there for brunch and it was a great experience, you have to try the vegetarian brunch and the cheese nan! Staff if very friendly too.

Excellent. Great food and cocktails. Most of all, an unexpected place with a laid back atmosphere. I wish the chef had told me what he put in the sweet potato purée!

Nice little restaurant but very noisy, there was a party (?) in a room belonging to the restaurant next to us. The menu is surprising, as vegetarian/vegan options are offered next to massive steaks. Overall very good but a bit expensive

Who is Pepe ? I'm inclined to say that Pepe is brewing, and cooking some of the best of fast food in town. You see the McDonald's right next to this magnificent establishment, forget about it. Go to Pepe, for huge portions and delicious food.

Ecxellent lunch (couscous poulet and croque monsieur) in a cosy local and inexpensive place :)

I visited La Mascotte Letort for an early evening drink before dinner in February 2023 so I did not eat the food but the drinks were superb. Good choice of wines draft beer including lager and non alcoholic cocktails. The bar is a traditional one and lots of locals enjoying thier evening.

My husband and I were walking around the Flea Markets last year, and needed a late lunch to get us through the day. Nearly every place was closed between 2pm and 4pm, but we're so glad we stumbled upon this restaurant. Its family run, and it shows. We got by speaking the little French we knew, and they did the same with the little English they knew. The chef spoke English and he was chatting us up. We're not used to this 3 course meal idea for lunch, so we ended up staying there for a couple hours and making friends with everyone. It was the son/waiter's birthday and they encouraged us to stay for cake and wine afterwards. Everything was delicious, well priced and we were overfull by the end of it. We ate with some local Parisians and shared some interesting stories. They even had us skype some of their relatives who spoke English and were studying at university abroad! By the time we left, we felt like family. It was the most genuine European experience we had the entire month we spent abroad, in 3 different countries. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, family, food and ambience to anyone I could. Thank you for making our trip that much richer!

Wonderful Senegalese food! The ambiance is cosy and very friendly. The owner and her niece were lovely to us and entertained our baby while we ate. One of my favourite dining experiences in Paris.

It was first time to try Mali food so I ordered the recommended dish poulet garni a la Lala. Sweet and salty, lil bit like Japanese taste, juicy chicken... It was pretty big potion and normally I can't eat a lot but it was easy to finish all! Madame was calm but helpful, she gave us some cadeau. This expérience would be a great memory of Paris.

It is a nice restaurant with very friendly staff and laid back atmosphere. They don’t speak much English, but English menu is available. The food is delicious but the portions are quite small. The prices are normal for Paris.

I love this place. It's one of my favorite bars in Paris. The cocktails are so good especially the PinaColada. The cheese plate is extra cheesy and very generous. The staff is very friendly.

Food is good and well priced for a local bistro. Staff is very greeting and looks after you very well (well above what you can find in some Parisian brasserie). You'll find a local crowd here. Offers drink happy hour 7pm to 11pm! Good music in the background.
Thomas Fabre - 6 years ago
Sorry but so disappointing: small portions, the food has no flavour at all, no seasoning, homemade fries tasted like they were only warmed up and the steak was dry. Same thing for my friends plate. The staff was friendly, that's why I give 2 stars, but the food and the prices destroyed everything. Keep your 15 € and go have a kebab menu for 7 €, seriously

Excellent night. We just chilled out with great food, nice beer and a lovely atmosphere. Staff were great. Our daughter loved being called a princess. If we’re stuck for somewhere we will definitely go there again.
