Loved this place! The terrace has an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower—perfect for a sunset drink. Victor, the manager and his team made us feel super welcome, and Uli’s cocktails were spot on. Great food, great vibes. Definitely coming back!

A very lively atmosphere, excellent food and great location. Its gets very busy but despite that the service was sharp. Since this is not a tourist spot, the clientele is mostly local, adding to the overall good buzz.

Everything feels unpretentious here, from the food to the service. Lunch set was a great deal though I wish we could try a bigger menu. Certainly as a tourist it's nothing like I've had in France.

My girlfriend and I are from NYC and we are foodies. To say that we enjoyed the food is an understatement. We read the reviews and they were mixed, most of the negative reviews are about the service. If you’re coming here to be pampered and coddled by the service, you are at the wrong place. Our first impression, the owner gave us a dramatic look. We were not phased, we accepted it as someone passionate. The servers will not give you the fake American smile to ensure you are happy. The are confident in their food and you either appreciate it or you don’t. This is unlike the typical overly flavored Paris greasy food. This is pure flavor, you can slightly salt to your taste with the table salt. We had 4 items plus the dessert and wine. Red snapper and vegetable melody, scallop and wild mushrooms, artichoke with carrots and onions, and the foie gras. Red snapper and veggie melody is semi fishy at the first taste then it all goes away by the buttery veggie melody that compliments the fish perfectly. This isn’t your typical thinly sliced red snapper, it’s thick and meaty fish. Yes, we slightly salted it. Scallop and wild mushrooms was utterly mind blowing. Great presentation with subtly and light buttery (not overly salted) flavorful scallops, which is very hard to do. The wild mushrooms subtly had an earthly taste (not overly earthy at all) compliments the scallops so well. Artichoke, carrots and onions. I thought to myself, how can one be so excited about carrots. Seriously? I’m not one to exaggerate about carrots. It was subtly flavorful and pure bliss. The foie gras. What do I say? Everything here is homemade, I’m not a huge fan of foie gras, I’ve had it a few times in my life and always thought it’s overly powerful with flavor. It goes without saying, it’s very very subtle with flavor. The combination with the light butter on the crispy and fluffy inside bread. Mind blowing. The Wine he suggested was a tasty and natural white wine that we both loved and my girlfriend was also recommended a dessert wine which was a sort of Amaro, again subtle and favorable. Lastly, the dessert. Wow! We saw a bunch of people on the reviews ordering the same chocolate fondant au chocolat. This was visually like a fudge chocolate, but imagine a velvety chocolat that isn’t super sweet. The one thing that I feel when I eat a large chuck of fudge is overwhelming, this is the complete opposite. They will not bend to your needs for convenience, you must call (we found it hard to call a local French #), yet we persisted and got a reservation, their menu is in only French, translate on your google translate. They don’t play music, they take their time to serve you, don’t expect them to be on your time. You come to their establishment and they will treat you well. Don’t be entitled. One word to describe our experience. Elegant. I hope you get to experience what we did.

One of my favorite Parisian bistro. It’s giving the authentic lowkey vibe. Menu was made with hand writing on the black board. Beautiful atmosphere. It’s not a place they want to bring something new, fine and special. You enjoy the subtle nuance. It’s elegant, delicate, authentic, homey, and most importantly honest.

We are tourists and were a little intimidated reading previous reviews about the service but it was more than adequate! The dishes are using quality ingredients, each well thought out and executed. We are 2 people and has 5 entrees, a main and a dessert (would have eaten more if we had the stomach space to spare). The owner gave great recommendations on wines and digestif to pair with our food. The bistro is cosy and a great place to spend a whole evening indulging. *menu is written in French and can be google translated- although I am sure the owner would have provided any help we needed

All through dinner, i was kicking myself for not having adopted Baratin earlier. Everything about the place pleases, not least the food and wines. My mother seemed to think so too. We sat down on one of the basic leather booths. They have a large chalkboard with menus which was placed on a chair for us and a short list of wines. We chose a Vin de Table. A guy behind the bar to serve us a glass, it was well made and was almost sainted in its purity. The food, on the surface, could be considered typical. But once they arrive and immediately melt in your mouth, you’ll understand what all of the fuss is about. The mussels revived me. And the lamb, my main, was packed with flavor and falling off the bone. It had a delicate balance of fat and lean, perfectly moist. All were simply turned out and very comforting. What‘s more, for dessert, Fondant au Chocolate, a slab of rich soft chocolate, falling somewhere in between mousse and chocolate. It tasted gorgeous. I understand what it means by terrible service here but this is not the type of place to care about much beyond what you’re putting in your mouth. It‘ll trump all the other factors anyway. All part of the charm.

A very nice spot where you'll be able to eat too much for a very fair price ! Even the salad will stuff you as they are very generous.Take a look at the desert, they are gorgeous. As for the main course you'll have plenty to choose. It was delightful in every way :) Thanks again

The food is authentic and delicious! It’s difficult to find a real japanese place who serves good sushi for 26€ at night. The assortment of desserts gives us a bit of each dessert and all of them taste so good, especially the black sesame ice cream. The flavour is so rich. Same for the matcha cake which is not too sweet but full of flavour. The staffs are friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back.

Amazing spot that's worth the walk up the hill. Have a few drinks on your way to Parc des Buttes-Chaumont. We especially enjoyed the squid and the octopus.

While the food was decent, the service was extremely slow. We waited almost an hour for our ramen and sushi, which was frustrating, especially for a meal that shouldn't take that long to prepare. That being said, the waitress was very kind and attentive, which made the experience slightly better. However, the long wait time overshadowed the overall dining experience. If you're in a rush, this might not be the best choice. But if you have time to spare and value friendly service, it could still be worth a visit.

We had just arrived in Paris and since our room wasn’t ready yet, we went for a walk around the neighborhood — and that’s how we found Le Bariolé. From the very first moment, the welcome was incredibly warm and friendly. We started with Mayonnaise eggs and roasted eggplant, both delicious. For the mains, we had chicken burgers and beef tartare — fresh, flavorful, and really well done. And then came dessert… crème brûlée and Nutella tiramisu — absolutely amazing. It was so good that we came back again two nights later to try more dishes… and honestly, everything we tried was great. On our last day, just a few hours before heading to the airport, we found ourselves going back one more time for a goodbye coffee and those unforgettable desserts. This place is truly special — great food, lovely atmosphere, and amazing service. Definitely coming back next time we’re in Paris ❤️

THIS PLACE SAVED OUR LIFE!! Was searching for an open kitchen all around and we walked in just as the chef was leaving. He said he’d stay and cook for us 4, and we had the entrecôte, duck confit, and 2 chicken burgers and it was SO DELICIOUS!! They were the most amazing welcoming vibe ever and treated us so well. I am forever indebted to these beautiful people for SAVING OUR EVENING!!

Staff were super friendly, extremely low wait times for food, most importantly, food was SUPER delicious. Ordered beef tataki, beef tartare, and beef with mash. Their fruity IPA beer was also tasty. I don’t understand how the is place is not 5 stars because it’s so amazing. I love everything here, no complaints.

Lovely local Bistro that I visited on the day I arrived in Paris! a very cozy place with small space but the staff were friendly and the food was good. (also liked the red checkered table mats)the best menu was truffle soup, I didn’t expected such a strong truffle taste for this price!

After a long day of frustration with metro and bus strike, it was really good feeling to have a hassle free dinner. The waiter was friendly and welcoming. the food service was fast and most important it was delicious. It was like a home cooked meal with generous portions. It was the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable and could stay til closing time. Worth the visit!

We having been going to the Zephyr every week for months. We loved the relaxed atmosphere, the friendly service, the burgers, the crème brûlée and the fries. The restaurant changed hands this week. The new owner seems to be shooting for a slightly more upscale vibe. They got rid of the fries and the crème brûlée, and the service was mediocre. We are disappointed and hope they will reconsider some of their decisions.

Food was great and amazing service, the ladies who was the waiter speak english very fluent and even explain the menu board one by one which rarely seen in local french restaurant (very impress, owner should give her a raise!) . Food come very fast, serve hot and cook right. Will come again in couple days

Excellent restaurant and superb service. The restaurant has both an upscale and welcoming feel. The atmosphere was welcoming, family friendly and at the same time, romantic. The food was delicious and surpassed all our expectations. After eating there, my husband and I immediately planned to return. This place is a neighborhood gem and highly recommended.

I went here with my girlfriend on our last night in Paris. This is French bistort food at of the best quality. The interior is modest but quintessentially Paris dinning. The staff is extremely friendly, and the wine list is expansive. I recommend L'aligot. Some of the best you'll find in the city. Will be returning again.

Very good "bistrot" menu, great wine menu, loved the cocktails, gret service. But, one of the "pâté en croute" had a few bad pieces and one of the sausage with aligot was a wee bit too fat. Still a great experience overall.

Right by our airbnb, we came for a late lunch after landing from Athens. Greeted by a friendly man who spoke some English. He showed us the daily menu and bless his heart tried to explain it in English. We tried to use as much Frnech as we knew and settled upon two daily specials with plum tarts for dessert. We left soooooo happy. The steak skewers where cooked perfectly. The sauce was incredible. And the frites were super cripsy and the jug of wine was super affordable....I only wanted more. Great first meal in Paris! We also came here for breakfast and got a cappucino and croissant for €5.

This was our first meal in Paris. Overall, the food was decent, but it didn’t quite live up to our expectations. Each dish appeared to be a fusion interpretation of East Asian (Chinese) cuisine. However, several of the sauces tasted rather diluted. For example, both the mapo tofu wontons and the tuna tartare came with sauces that reminded us of watered-down doubanjiang (fermented chili bean paste). One tofu dish was served with a sauce that tasted like diluted sesame paste. As people who are very familiar with East Asian cuisine, we didn’t find these flavors particularly unique or exciting. In fact, some of the sauces were quite similar to Lao Gan Ma chili crisp, making the overall flavor profile feel somewhat repetitive. Perhaps this was the chef’s intended style, but it wasn’t to our taste. One other downside was the dining environment. The restaurant had no air conditioning—only a single fan. Since the meal lasted more than two hours, the dining room became quite uncomfortable. By the end, we were simply hoping the remaining dishes would arrive quickly so we could finish our meal and step outside into cooler air.

GIVE THEM A STAR ALREADY!!! One of the most beautiful, interesting, and delightful meals we've ever had. We were so excited about the French-Chinese concept, and it flows so smoothly that one must wonder how food allows us to explore the world and its possibilities. It also struck us how quiet and peaceful the kitchen seems. I was so focused on eating and enjoying every dish that I kept forgetting to take pictures. Lucky me!

Really cool spot. It deserves the hype but there are some areas that can be refined. The dining room and initial experience are gorgeous. The textures and colours are harmonious yet eye catching. The service is refined but not overbearing. At times the service was a bit unfocused (not lacking). The pacing of the courses could have used work during my meal. The first series were fairly slow and the last three came in rapid succession. The flavours were good and inventive without being obnoxious; for example, the tuna carpaccio had a pleasant umami profile and felt novel. The siu mai were lacking to me. They were innovative in their mushroom forward flavour, yet under seasoned even with the accompanying sauce. The duck stole the show. It was fabulous and the condiments added a wonderful balance. For me this was an experience worth recommending to others. An overall dining experience that is excellent , yet comes slightly below a one Michelin star restaurant (in my opinion).

Had such a fantastic meal here. There is such a flavour explosion in every single dish. Many of the dishes felt unique. They gave you many amuse-bouches on the house to start the meal which were all delicious. These plus the appetizers were the stars of the show. Staff are super nice but there was a 40 min gap in the service at one point which was unfortunate. Otherwise the pacing was great. Food can’t be faulted though, was a special meal. Would come back again and again.

Excellent refined Lebanese food in a warm, lovely atmosphere. Great service and decor that makes you feel you’re on vacation somewhere in the Mediterranean area. The tiramisu is absolutely delicious - probably best I’ve ever eaten. All the food was wonderful well worth rivaling the top Lebanese restaurants of Paris.
