Although the hotel is very welcoming, well-situated, it lacks the qualities of its rating. the hotel should be 3-star and not a 4-star. it has the amenities but it definitely is not worth a 4 star: very small room, mattress and pillows far too soft, no carpet on the floor hence a little uncomfortable in the morning, limited coffee choice in the room and NO milk options at all - just black,. The breakfast was very disappointing with only cheap quality products (yogurt, orange juice out of a box...)... There is definitely room for improvement as it is only small things however, it does not meet 4/star but a good 3-star...

What a great little hotel!! I am so happy we found this gem. The rooms were pretty with wonderful light and the bed was so comfortable. The rooms are exactly as they appear on the website! And the reception desk is staffed with the most friendly and helpful people, with complimentary lemon water for when we returned from touring around on hot days in August. The location was perfect too within walking distance of everything - Notre Dame, Louvre, Eiffel Tower. And the price is so reasonable. We often ended our days with a nice glass of wine at the restaurant immediately downstairs. I highly recommend this hotel!! It made our stay in Paris perfect.

If location is your priority, Hotel Georgette delivers. It is tucked into the heart of the 3rd arrondissement, you’re genuinely in the thick of Le Marais, surrounded by excellent restaurants, buzzing bars, and all the neighbourhood charm. A G20 grocery store sits right across the road, which is a quietly brilliant convenience for snacks, drinks, or anything you’ve forgotten to pack. The reception staff are warm and welcoming, and the rooms are a decent size, no complaints there. There’s in-room coffee, which is always appreciated, and a restaurant and bar downstairs means you don’t even need to step outside if you don’t feel like it (though with so much on the doorstep, you will want to). That said, it’s worth setting expectations before you book. Despite its four-star rating, Hotel Georgette doesn’t quite live up to that billing. The amenities and level of refinement you would typically associate with a four-star property simply aren’t here. It’s comfortable and clean, and the quality is solid, but it stops well short of feeling special or luxurious. The offering is fairly straightforward: a good room, a coffee machine, and a restaurant downstairs, and that’s essentially it. Some guests mention street noise as a drawback, and yes, this is a lively part of Paris, but it didn’t bother us in the slightest, and frankly feels part of the deal when you’re staying somewhere so central. Stay here for the location, the comfortable rooms, and the friendly service. Just don’t arrive expecting the polish of a true four-star hotel, and you will leave perfectly happy.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

We stayed at Hôtel Georgette for our final night in Paris The team that took care of us stood out in the best ways. Every interaction was professional, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable. There was a natural friendliness and ease in how they engaged with us that made the experience feel personal rather than transactional. We arrived early knowing our room likely wouldn’t be ready. They graciously stored our bags so we could head back out and enjoy the city unencumbered. When we returned, the check-in was smooth and efficient, and our bags had already been delivered to the room. A thoughtful and appreciated touch. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the bed made for a great night’s sleep. One unique detail we really loved was the “night sky” lighting feature in the bathroom. Small LED lights that created a relaxing, almost magical atmosphere. It was an unexpected and memorable design touch. The location is in a lively, energetic part of the city with plenty happening close by, which makes fir a great base for exploring. With that comes typical city noise at night, but it’s what you’d expect when staying in such a vibrant neighborhood and didn’t take away from our overall experience. This hotel combines great service, comfort, and personality in a location that is full of energy. We’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and well-run place to stay in Paris.

Combo (bistrô/restaurant/hotel) - I like it more than the traditional English breakfast most hotels offer. Staff is extra friendly. All speaking a bassilion languages (also English of course) They have an absolute deep knowledge about the region that I would ask for recommendations even if you already have everything planned out for your trip For some reason they have someone on the desk 24/7 It’s kind of handy if you are planning of having a late one Good price as well

I recently Paris for the first time. I came across this restaurant and was so excited to be able to get a reservation (the next 2 months were booked). The history behind the building & restaurant is what initially was very appealing to me. Definitely worth a read on their website. We did the tasting menu with wine pairings. The overall ambiance was great! It felt almost like you were in an underground cave. The attention to detail from start to finish was impeccable. A great addition to anyone’s trip to Paris!

The food was delicious but unfortunately the service, atmosphere and organization was not up to par. We have booked a reservation for 21:30 and we were excited to try one of the tasting menus, however we were never told that they don’t serve the tasting menus after 21:30, not on the website, not on any reservation confirmation. We only found out as we were ordering and we were met with a rough “no” without any further explanation due to poor English vocabulary. Some of the staff members are incredible, particularly the Brazilian waiters, but some could barely speak any English. Lastly, I highly advise going to this restaurant during summer, it gets very hot inside and there is no AC. Even the wine was hot.

This was our second time to visit Nicholas Flamel. Both experiences have been exceptional. Both the quality of the food and service exceeded our expectations. Our server took the time to explain some of the history and show us a new relic that is still being evaluated. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Paris!

This was my first experience at a high-end French restaurant and I had the restaurant's lunch tasting menu. It was a wonderful experience and the 2 waiters did their best to make us feel comfortable. The food was quite unique and the presentation was impeccable. 1 comment was that the cutlery, specifically the knife was not sharp which was a bit of a struggle. Luckily most of the food was bite sized so this didn't hinder us too much. Unfortunately when it came time for the bill, the waiter said, "How will you be paying the tip, card or cash?" I was shocked and was unsure how to respond in that moment I just said card and included a €10 tip for the 2 waiters who served us. Upon review of my bill after, it didn't add up to me. The lunch menu is €48 per person (2 persons) and we had one €15 glass of white wine. They totaled it to €120 plus the €10 tip. It really bothered me as this was a splurge for us but it felt like we were taken advantage of when it was time for payment. As this was my first time, I didn't push back or say anything in the moment but I would encourage others to review their bill and question whether or not service is included when pressed for a tip.

Love this place. These sorts of divey type bars are my homes away from homes. No pretense, just good people and good drink. If I were living in Paris I'd need to live nearby hear to make it my local sort of thing. Bartender was playing really good music too. Make sure to look for the mobile in the back on the ground floor - it's suspended from the ceiling. Really cool little piece of art. I took a short film of it but can't upload it here, but there's a pic of it.

I love this bar. Visited a couple of times with a friend while I was staying in the Marais. The service was super friendly and there was a great choice of cocktails, wine and beer. We were supposed to go elsewhere for dinner but were trapped by a downpour so had the assiette fromage, which was awesome. The music was great too. Can’t wait to go back! 👍

I was there for a Sunday lunch. The atmosphere is immersive and you feel really like you were in Morocco. The lights are soft and even if we were sharing the table with other people, the seats were comfortable and spaced enough from each other to preserve privacy. The food was really good: from the starters, the olives, the focaccia bread and the lentil soup were all excellent. Then we took the slow-cooked lamb and the chicken with pears. Both meats were excellents. Every dish had a lot of character and strong identity. We appreciated everything. Totally recommended!

What an experience! I went with 3 friends, one of which is Moroccan, and she classified the food and the place as "real-Moroccan-certified": amazing tagines and pastillas, served very quickly. Beautiful ambience and the decor. Absolutely lovely staff :) Fully recommend!

404 is like stumbling into Marrakech in the middle of Paris. The couscous is simply perfect regardless of what some reviews say. We had the chicken turnovers for starters, highly recommended. Harira was refreshing and just amazing. The tagines feel like a warm hug, and the portions could feed a couple easily. Cozy, lively, and a little chaotic — in the best possible way. Don’t skip dessert, the pastilla is pure magic. The wait staff were super nice and made sure we enjoyed our meal. We've been here 4 times in 16 years and its the same experience.

Great location. Amazing vibes. Great drinks. Good service. Indoor and outdoor seating areas. Pro tip: arrive early (~10pm) to avoid queuing at the door. No reservations needed! Never tried their food, but drinks are top-notch! If you have a table, service will not disappoint. Although if you’re grabbing drinks at the bar, it can get hectic if the place is packed. Overall great experience! Went there twice in 2 weeks :)

I recently visited Andy Wahloo for drinks with friends, and overall, it was a great experience. The ambiance is fantastic, with top-notch music that sets the mood—though it could have been slightly less loud to make conversations easier, especially since it's a bar and not a pub. The outdoor setting is lovely, providing a relaxed and stylish vibe. The waitstaff were incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the positive experience. However, the coat check attendant at the entrance was a bit peculiar—I couldn't quite tell if he was being overly friendly or slightly rude, but it stood out. While I can't confidently comment on whether the prices are expensive or reasonable due to limited experience in this area, the lack of Prosecco on the menu was a slight disappointment. Despite this, I’ll certainly be coming back for the ambiance and the welcoming vibe. A solid spot for a night out with friends!

What a threat! Drink menu is super inclusive, lots of options and cocktails are spectacular. Ambiance is cozy, seating is super comfortable, music is on point and the dancefloor is really cool. (yes it has a dancefloor). Service is on point. Highly recommended. (They have a coat check).

A quaint cocktail bar with a unique and creative menu. The bartender was extremely hospitable and concocted a delicious coffee based cocktail upon request that was off-menu. Would definitely recommend visiting more than once to try through their menu. Sampled a couple different cocktails and was not disappointed with any. Pricing is fair, about the same with most other cocktail bars, and the atmosphere is quite classy and cozy.

Had a great experience at Derrière. We came as a group of 9 and reserved in advance — everything was smooth and well organized. The lunch offer is excellent: you can choose a starter + main for €26, which is a very good value for the quality. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. A really enjoyable spot for a group lunch — would definitely come back.

We loved the atmosphere and decor - everything was so eclectic and cool. And the food was amazing too. I had a delicious truffle beef stew with rice. I originally thought I didn’t like the taste of truffle but this dish changed my mind. It was one of my favorite meals in Paris. My husband had a steak with a duck foie gras sauce. Delicious. And my favorite dessert in Paris was here. It was this chestnut cream with a black currant sorbet in the middle. It was divine and perfectly light and refreshing for after dinner.

Derrière is a super cute spot with cool vintage furniture and cozy decor that really makes the experience. Food is easy and enjoyable, though not especially memorable. Good house wine, nice atmosphere, and a great overall vibe even without a real wow factor dish.

What a quirky place ! ❤️ The location in / next to Le Marais is really perfect, it’s in a courtyard of a former home and what’s so fun is that they’ve largely kept the home in tact, as in you eat on a couch or a bed or the ping pong table, it’s a very original design concept. It has its own little speakeasy as well behind the wardrobe (any The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe fans out there?) and the art and deco details make you feel like you’re stepping back in time. We had the full menu and 3 drinks each and spent 100€ each which I’d say is typical for the area (and worth it). The server was attentive and responsive and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend 🤘

Too much to say about this place, it’s beautiful, the food is tasty, and the service is warm ! I still want to say that we had a noisy table but nothing to do with the restaurant, the people on the table next to us were just extremely noisy. The ultimate place to enjoy excellent food and a drink by the Centre Pompidou. Many have a sip while enjoying the people watching. Was pleasantly surprised to find really good and reasonably priced food options here as well. The salad was crisp and fresh, nem tasty and warm, and the verveine tea with assorted desserts perfectly done. Service was attentive and well timed. Highly recommend.

The fish is grilled perfectly, crunchy outside and tender/juicy inside. And they offer various side dish as option. I chose salad which is very fresh and good! and my friends mashed potato is also a big portion. The restaurant is spacious so it’s not crowded and very quiet, the restroom is also very big. Overall it’s a beautiful and elegant restaurant. The staff is polite even though a bit slow. But the sparkles is the waiter Mr. Cat! He is so chilled, attentive, gentle and friendly, he welcomed us at the door when we entered, he walked around to check everything is alright, he guarded me in the toilet, he left when we started dining, not to disturb us. For him, this restaurant deserves a 5-stars review 👍👍👍👍👍

It was a simple break during our stroll through the surrounding Parisian neighborhoods, a chance to enjoy a warm cup of coffee or something similar. The place is nice and quiet, and its patrons suggest it's a haven for those seeking peace and relaxation, perhaps to enjoy a book or a quiet conversation with a companion. Our order tasted wasn't very good. While the service was quick, it felt like a mere formality, lacking genuine enthusiasm and hospitality. To be fair, this was only apparent with the person who served us; the rest of the staff were much more professional.

The staff at Dan's le Noir was incredibly welcoming and friendly, the food was tasty, and the experience was very unique. I would not recommend attending if you don't speak French or if you can't go with a large group of others that speak your native language. We happened to be sat next to incredibly rude people that spent majority of the time mocking us (in French). Not wanting confrontation, we spent the latter half of the experience in complete silence, leaving us feeling very "in the dark".

Small restaurant close to The Pompidou Center on a quiet street serving various fondue bowls with options. The four of us ordered the Savoyarde for 4 which was served with a basket of bread, a bowl of boiled potatoes. The Savoyarde is a milder cheese mixed with white wine, nutmeg, garlic and salt and pepper. The potatoes were very good as was the bread for dipping in the fondue. The restaurant is small offering a quiet meal with great service.

This is an excellent place and I highly recommend it. It’s better to reserve a table in advance, as it gets quite busy. The food is absolutely delicious, the fondue is outstanding! Fantastic food! A bit off the main road- but be sure to make a reservation otherwise you may not get a table. A great meal- the gourmand racalette and the meat fondue w red wine were both excellent after onion soup. The southwest cheese plate was a fun way to finish the meal. Service was also very good! We hope to go again our next time in Paris

This was my first time having fondue and maybe it's just not for me. We arrived for a late dinner at 11 PM and it's generally recommended to make a reservation. The staff were all friendly and spoke English as well, so it was easy to order. They offer many types of cheese from regions of France, we ordered one of the cheese fondues and a salad. The fondues come with potatoes and bread. We enjoyed the salad and it provided some much needed veggies. The cheese fondue comes in a hotpot and you dip the bread and potatoes into it with a fondue fork. After trying it, I think I prefer cheese only when it's paired with meat, so I probably should've ordered the one with meat. It was also really late and I was quite tired from being out all day, so that may have also contributed to me feeling subpar about the meal. However, if you're a cheese lover, this restaurant should be right up your alley. Come here if you love cheese!

Good food and service. The server welcomed me nicely and have me seated. I ordered Duck breast with Aligot, paired with Marillac wine. The meat was tender, both the sauce and the Aligot are seasoned to my liking, and flavors are not too overpowering. I wish the food had been served warmer and on heated plates. The bone marrow in the center is slightly cold and could’ve been cooked and seasoned more. Overall, it was a very good dining experience.

We are here Sunday evening and the food was delicious and the service was superb! We had the 7 hour lamb and duck. The servers were generous with our portions of aligot and the chocolate mousse and both were amazing I wish I was still there! Unlike a few places we ate in Paris it didn’t feel rushed and the servers were helpful and very funny. There was English and French on the menu but the staff were patient and let us attempt as much French as possible whilst also understanding us if we got stuck. It’s not the cheapest but the food quality and service was definitely worth it. Best meal we ate in Paris!

The food is simply amazing. The scallop in the risotto is cooked to perfection and melts in the mouth. The beef filet is cooked to our prefer wellness and the sauce complements it. The aligot was super delicious, a good blend of mashed potato and cheese that’s really fragrant! Lastly, the chocolate mousse is delicious and it’s a great dessert recommendation! The service was also prompt and polite, highly recommend to visit this restaurant!
