When I happened upon Hôtel Georgette, it seemed almost too good to be true. My Mother’s name was Georgette and the place looked very Parisian and inviting. Although this was not my first visit to Paris, it had been a while, and I wanted a central location to get reacquainted with the city. Everything was as perfect as it seemed online. The staff were the most thoughtful, gracious hosts and they provided excellent restaurant recommendations. The location was incredible. It was an easy walk to many sites I wanted to see, and public transportation access is nearby. It is also right across the street to a small supermarket which was handy, and a few steps to dozens of restaurants and cafes, including the one on the ground floor of the hotel. I felt very comfortable, safe, and it was spotlessly clean. Thank you, Hôtel Georgette, for a memorable visit to your beautiful city!

Stayed at a centrally located hotel recently. The location is convenient for exploring the city, and the staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.
Be aware, upon arrival, you'll need to sign a document that restricts room access to only those registered at check-in. No external visitors are allowed in the rooms, which might be inconvenient for some.
Overall, a solid choice for its location and quality of stay, just consider the visitor policy.

We had an fantastic experience at Hotel Georgette! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home. Dmitri, in particular, was incredible in assisting us throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to ensure that our time in Paris was unforgettable.
But what truly set Hotel Georgette apart was the exceptional customer service. Dmitri's recommendations for great spots to eat, drink, watch shows, and dance were spot-on. We couldn't have asked for better advice. Thanks to him, we discovered hidden gems and experienced the vibrant nightlife of Paris like true locals.
We highly recommend Hotel Georgette to any couple looking for an unforgettable stay in Paris. The combination of the amazing location, comfortable rooms, and the outstanding customer service provided by Dmitri and the rest of the staff make it the perfect choice. We can't wait to return and create more beautiful memories at Hotel Georgette. Ask for Room 61 :)

We got the 3 course with the wine pairing and I must say they simply blew us out of the park. Magnificent experience with the wine pairing. Yasser was our server and he was very kind and attentive to make sure we had a great evening. Courses came out in a timely fashion and we got to try great wine that France has to offer. If we ever come back to Paris we will definitely be coming back. Each course was fantastic and memorable. Definitely recommend coming here.

Amazing food. Totally restored my faith in the Michelin guide after a totally failed experience a Le Meurice Alain Ducasse.
The garlic butter is absolutely divine. I never posts bread and butter pics but these deserve to be mentioned.
Service was impeccable and every dish was divine. Great value for 3 course meal.
Atmosphere was marred by being seated against the mirror. I could not lean back without hitting my head. I should have said something but restaurant was full. And there were 2 annoying fruit flies buzzing around.
Overall I will return when back in Paris.

Simply amazing experience! The flavor combinations are out of this world. Service was attentive and accommodating to our lack of French. Recommend getting the wine paring as it really brings out the flavors of the various courses. It will be pricey, but hey, you only live once. Totally worth it.

This was a wonderful experience! I'd go back in a heartbeat! Wine pairings were wonderful, the food was amazing, and the dessert was so fun and delicious! We did the full course tasting with the wine pairing. Everyone, from the sommelier to the waiter, was kind and knowledgeable.

We went as a group of 4 and had an amazing lunch experience. Their set menu has a fish or meat main option so will suit most people. The food was excellent - well prepared and some nice touches of innovation with some ingredients. Service was attentive and professional. Recommended.

We had an incredible evening. My friends visiting from the USA said it was the perfect way to top off their paris vacation. The server was incredible , he paced the food properly and the right amount of engagement throughout the meal.

The perfect dining spot to see Paris from on high. Being able to dine and watch the Eiffel Tower light up was a vacation highlight. The venue is chic and gorgeous. Service was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, with generous portions.

We came for a small coffee break and a sweet bite.
It was delicious , and the atmosphere BUT the hostess are very slow and seem to not care .
The waitress on the other hand was very nice and polite .
The Irish coffee was fabulous and the cheesecake very tasty .
Strongly recommended for that

You go principally for the excellent views of Paris and the chic and innovative decor “features”housing some of the clusters of tables (resembling baroquely shaped metallic, undulating mega nodules). The food is excellent, though overpriced, and thus the four stars on food, but you won’t be disappointed by the quality. The wait staff look very elegant, but you may wait a very long time between courses, and for the bill, which is fine if you are there for the views and conversation, but less so if you happen to be in a hurry. Spent €106 for two people for only two mains, and one dessert shared, without wine and only tapwater. Did have a €12 ginger carrot drink which was excellent, and an €8 tea… so if you are going for a full meal and a decent bottle of wine, you will easily crest €225.

I was concerned by some of the reviews that the food wouldn’t be very good, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the smoked foie gras with seasonal mushrooms, beef tartare, rigatoni with tomato and basil, scallop with the tom yum sauce (with coconut cream jasmin rice), green beans with mushrooms, and fries. Every single item was exceptional. The foie gras was topped with a slightly sweet balsamic vinegarette that was very nice. Didn’t have room for dessert because we were too full!
The views of course were also beautiful. We could see the Eiffel Tower, and also Notre Dame. Another side had views of Sacre Coeur.
Our server was also excellent! People say the French have bad service, but at Georges we received very excellent service, on par with what I would expect of any fancy restaurant. The place was also tastefully decorated. Loved the modern chic look.
Only downside was probably the bathrooms, which were a bit smelly. Not as nice as what I’d expect of a nice restaurant. Other than that, the experience was perfection! Perfect for a romantic night out or evening with friends.

Love this place. These sorts of divey type bars are my homes away from homes. No pretense, just good people and good drink. If I were living in Paris I'd need to live nearby hear to make it my local sort of thing. Bartender was playing really good music too. Make sure to look for the mobile in the back on the ground floor - it's suspended from the ceiling. Really cool little piece of art. I took a short film of it but can't upload it here, but there's a pic of it.

A very pretty courtyard that offers a peaceful and intimate setting, which is already a very good point considering the hustle and bustle of the surrounding streets. The cocktails were quite surprising, even a bit disorienting I must admit as I wasn't expecting something so visually simple. Once tasted, the flavors are subtle and balanced. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

A quaint cocktail bar with a unique and creative menu. The bartender was extremely hospitable and concocted a delicious coffee based cocktail upon request that was off-menu. Would definitely recommend visiting more than once to try through their menu. Sampled a couple different cocktails and was not disappointed with any. Pricing is fair, about the same with most other cocktail bars, and the atmosphere is quite classy and cozy.

Very cool spot! We were visiting from the US and came for brunch. We did not know French very well but everyone was very accommodating to us there. The interior is super unique and interesting, I’ve never seen anything like it! The service was pretty slow, but I’m sure we have different opinions being from the US. We did not really understand how the brunch service worked with the buffet and we did have to ask, but we saw other tables that were offered an explanation with quicker service. However, everyone was very kind when we did speak, and the host was generous in giving my grandmother a take home dessert after she mentioned how much she liked it. The food was great, but I think dinner is probably the best meal to have here. Definitely recommend!

Amazing place, starting from the design and atmosphere, with super delicious food. Prices are not cheap but worth every cent paid. We were there for dinner with 6 other friends, we dined in and tried many things as Octopus, lamb, scallops and beef tartar, with starters and desserts, each and every dish was delicious.

I went on a Monday night and had a great experience. It is true that not many tables were taken, so it was a slow night, but the waiter that looked after me was really nice and attentive. Got me an English menu, checked if they had what I wanted (they did) and would check in on me regularly.
The food was also really good. I had the tuna tartare and the pavlova and they were both faultless.

I’ve been coming to café Beaubourg for more years than I can count…. Loved it from the very first time, as I was impressed to seat within artists and writers, as a teenager I saw these privileged moments as an investment, a secret school to the Parisian scene and elegance.
When I meet my friends there, and I do every time I am in Paris, I always come first and a little early to indulge in the sweet nostalgia of my long gone innocence…
What a pleasure to welcome the first sunshine of spring, seated with a friend so great we share a lifetime of love and support, the iconic miss Tyra, and thank you Elias for such a warm welcome : « votre gentillesse n’a d’égale que votre beauté ».

Great place to sit and chill and people watch. The onion soup is very nice but the pizza was a bit too lil with its ingredients.
Whiny wee - 3 months ago
Warm service and great food suggestions. I tried the watercress soup and was thoroughly impressed. My salmon was also delicious. The skin had the perfect crunch and flavor. The pesto sauce/lemon complemented the dish completely.
The dessert was the final hit. I wished my kids had better table manners but I understand that the chocolate sauce covered giant profiterole was too good, the kids had to devour it as fast as possible...
We finished having the best meal in Paris together.

Stopped in for a Sunday snack / treat. The place is lovely, has a good atmosphere. There is an upstairs section which looks a bit like a library mezzanine type of thing where you can look down on the ground floor tables. Initially I found the service a bit slow and did consider leaving at one point, but I stayed. The staff are friendly and the food is good. I had the club sandwich, which was a little more expensive than nearby places, but it was worth it. Their hot chocolate was also very good. Overall a nice relaxed place with people reading papers, books etc. Definitely worth a visit and I will probably go back there again.

The overall experience is great. Personally, I found the appetizers and main courses to be amazing, but the desserts didn't quite hit the mark for me, though they weren't bad either. The service provided here is exceptional; I really appreciate their attitude. However, the drinks, especially the non-alcoholic ones, are a bit overpriced. For instance, a water with syrup costs 10 euros, which seems steep. One thing to note, though it's not something the restaurant can control, is the impact of neighboring diners on the overall experience. Unfortunately, our neighbors were quite negative, criticizing everything they could, while others were speaking loudly throughout the meal. In a dimly lit room like this, it really took a toll on my mental energy. Nonetheless, I commend the restaurant and its amazing staff, so I'm giving it a 5-star rating.

Such a wonderful & unique experience! I highly recommend reserving a dinner here because it was so much fun for my friend & I! Dining in complete darkness took getting used to but we worked it out after some trial and error (I.e. I got stabbed in the eye with a piece of bread being handed to me) BUT we had loads of fun trying to figure out our meal & just the hilarity that ensued from being in the dark. I think almost everyone had a birthday that night because we sang the birthday song 5 times 🤣 The atmosphere was boisterous & light. It was interesting thinking about our meal after the dishes were revealed at the end & seeing if we could pick out the individual elements we ate.

Wow! I’ve been to the LONDON branch and the Paris branch did not disappoint. In fact it was better because in London you have benches which means you can’t really separate yourself from the mysterious neighbour next to you. Here there was that ability to feel at least you had your own space. I don’t really mind getting up close and personal to people in the dark, but my wife definitel objects to it.😊

What a unique experience to undertake. Eating dinner in complete and utter darkness. Truly allows you to stop and take in what you are eating. So often ending up eating with your hands in a bid to help figure out the texture and what exactly it was. Only to be surprised at the end when looking at the menu to see you were completely wrong. Dessert was definitely my favourite dish.
Also a great shared experience with those around you as you judge without any bias.
Staff are very accommodating and welcoming. However as an English speaking guest some times it was a little harder.

From 1997 till today…
First time I discovered this place was back in 1997. That’s 27 years ago. And I still come anytime I can. It recently changed ownership but I was gladly surprised when I saw they kept the same concept, same menu (with some additions here and there) and same level of friendly service. If you like cheese and wine I DEFINITELY recommend you to try this place where you can literally tour the entire country through their cheeses.
I hope this place never changes.

Came here for a second time after the first being 5 years ago. Still delicious and a great experience! The cheese options and overall fondue is memorable. The house wines are quite good especially for the price. The restaurant space is quite small/cramped and there don't seem to be quite enough servers to effectively address all tables efficiently. Note - if you sit downstairs in the cave, there is no cell service.

Absolutely wonderful, authentic experience for cheese fondue in Paris. We had the “Savoyarde” and “Normande” fondue and really enjoyed the strong flavours and thick consistency. Buttery soft potato and crispy bread to dip, great house wines to drink and a fresh, well-dressed salad on the side were all amazing. Service was impeccable, lovely people, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great and very intimate. And the prices are also very fair! 100% recommend going here, and I will be back next time I’m in Paris.
