5 Star Rating Highly recommend this restaurant. They took us in with no reservation, and we had no idea until now how lucky we were! There were two young ladies up front, they were hustling around to accommodate everyone! One young lady with glasses was under so much pressure trying to be in 3 places at once, but still remained calm, cool and collected. She was so professional, she really made a once in a lifetime time trip for us simply amazing. Although the restaurant was so busy, the food came out hot and delicious, just as we ordered! My daughter and I shared a pasta dish to start and I had the steak dinner with potatoes. My daughter had something with spicy penne, EVERYTHING was delicious! The piano music in the background was perfect, and the the overall experience was so lovely. The castle like ambiance was so unique, I love the stone and the timbers on the ceiling. Everything you would hope for in an Italian restaurant in Paris. April16,2025 around 7:30-8:00pm~TY🇫🇷from NY

5 Star Rating One of my all-time favourite restaurants, visited twice on my trip to Paris. From the wines to the main courses and desserts, the food was absolutely amazing. The service was as well exquisite, with the staff being extraordinarily attentive. The live piano music and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant took the experience to another level. Will definitely be coming back on future trips. :)

4 Star Rating A bit expensive for what it was but a nice restaurant in a great busy area of Paris. We were looking for somewhere to eat late (around 10pm) & this fairly large restaurant was open. Piano player & kitsch / old school vibes really set the mood. No Aircon but not too overbearing. Service was very slow & tables were left uncleaned for our whole dinner. Also not the cheapest but not the worst. Food, however, was pretty good. The arancini starter was huge & they nicely gave us the number of arancini to match the table (3 of us). They were nice and filling, not wow, but good. Mains were the highlight. We were able to order off menu for a friend with dietary requirements, & it was seriously delicious & portions were generous. I had the vongole, which was lovely, as was the truffle pasta. Wine was ok. The water was almost hot, which was disappointing. We were far too full for dessert, but overall a nice meal in a great setting.

4 Star Rating Bel Ami Café offers a very high-quality brunch. The welcome is perfect, the atmosphere is very calm, and the hotel is beautiful. As for the food, the savory dishes are excellent and very varied. Fish, beef, chicken, cooked vegetables, beautiful salads, and shellfish are among the highlights. Kudos to the selection and quality of the preparations and ingredients. Let's talk about the improvements that I think could be made: The breads and the sweet selection don't live up to the excellent savory buffet. The jam selection is very poor, and the breads are a bit dry and lacking in crispness. As for the pastries, apart from the beautifully crafted chocolate mousse, the desserts are not up to the standard of the savory buffet. The tart crusts and lemon dessert cream are heavy, the cookies taste unremarkable and are very sweet, the panna cotta is average, the tarte tatin lacks butter in the pastry and caramel in the apples, and the brownies lack texture. We will return and continue to do so.

5 Star Rating Great place to have a budget friendly meal. I had the sandwich+drink+dessert combo. It was delicious, fresh, and at a very reasonable price. The only thing I would improve is the choice of drinks, as only a few sodas or water are available. A simple lemonade would have made my meal perfect.

5 Star Rating This was a gem of a find. What I recommend is the delicious meal set with a sandwich, drink, and dessert. Pricing was a good value for the set =15 euros each (with an upgrade of cider as a drink-which was only 1.5 euro upgrade) The upstairs dining area is a nice, cool retreat from the bustling streets of Paris. Water is offered from the tap, with a clean restroom for patrons. Compared to overfilled cafes steps away, this felt more relaxed.

4 Star Rating It is overall tasty, really great fries but portion was quite small and the first serving was so much better than the second (it was very chewy) so not very consistent. Profiterole itself very tasty but chocolate sauce - not a fan. Also don’t take the most expensive red wine by glass, very acidic. The best queue strategy - come just before 18:00 to guarantee the seating when they open. There are a lot of tables inside but very close to each other. I dont think I would go back.

5 Star Rating We came to Relais de l’Entrecôte without a reservation — it’s not possible to book a table here, and I’d heard there’s usually a long queue. But we were lucky — there was no line at all, and we were seated right away. We also got lucky with our waitress — a very kind and friendly woman who immediately made us feel welcome. She asked if it was our first time, and when we said yes, she took a moment to explain the concept: there’s only one main dish — steak and fries — and all we had to do was choose how we’d like our meat cooked. She told us about the famous secret sauce, which turned out to be absolutely delicious. First, we were served a simple yet incredibly tasty salad — fresh lettuce with walnuts and a light, flavorful dressing. Then came the steak and fries, perfectly cooked (medium) and generously served for the three of us. And just when we thought we were done — surprise! — a second serving arrived, just as generous as the first. We were honestly amazed. The steak was tender, full of flavor and cooked exactly how we asked (medium). And for dessert, we had the profiteroles — divine!! I absolutely recommend this place. To be continued…

5 Star Rating The line was long, but we were inside in just 39 minutes. With good weather and great company, the time flew by! Since it’s a one-dish restaurant, there wasn’t much to decide — and within 10 minutes, we were enjoying a delicious entrecôte. I really loved both the food and the concept. The fresh salad gets your appetite going, and the fries with the entrecôte were just perfect — not to mention the Bordeaux wine! We honestly had no room left for dessert, but everything looked amazing. If you don’t mind a little wait, this place is absolutely worth it!

5 Star Rating We waited about 45 minutes to get seated, which wasn’t bad at all given the length of the line. This place is clearly popular for a reason. The food was incredibly tasty. The steak was cooked perfectly (medium), and the fries? Probably the best I’ve ever had. The real surprise was the secret sauce. Something totally outside my comfort zone, but it tied the whole meal together in the most delicious way. Another unexpected bonus: they serve two rounds of the steak and fries, so we ended up too full to try the desserts. Definitely a spot I’d return to the next time we’re in Paris.

3 Star Rating Lacking in service, but the best food compared to other Frog's. This Frog, lacked in service in comparison to others. We entered and had to wait for a bit, including waiting for the manager to speak to an employee before serving a table (of which there were a few available). The floors were noticeably sticky as well, with a stale beer/ light vomit smell. The food however, was the best I've had compared to other chains. I'm not only taking about the temperature but also the actual taste. It's strange how the same exact dish can taste so different in the same chain. The only thing I would say is that the mac and cheese side for one dish, was piping hot, whereas the other one was stone cold.

5 Star Rating This was one of my favourite restaurants during my Paris trip. The interior is stunning, open, airy and inviting filled with plants. It’s a French fusion restaurant with touches of Asian and Japanese flavours. Reservations are a must here as it’s a very busy restaurant especially during nights. The service is impeccable honestly one of the best we’ve experience in Paris. The waiter is very attentive, friendly and overall makes you feel like you’re lifelong friends. We had a party of 4 and ordered quite a few dishes to try out. The salmon dishes were all amazing, fish was fresh and of quality. Two of my favourite was definitely the poke bowl and scallops. Every dish has dynamic flavouring, however the only one that was lacklustre was the dish. We felt it was a little bland and lacking in complexity. The desserts were all amazing as well, not too sweet and the perfect ending. I’d definitely recommend this place!

5 Star Rating I decided to have a solo date, dress up and find a good spot to eat. I happened upon Chez Papa Jazz while looking for a place to chill that was friendly to 40+ yo looking for a certain type of vibe. Chez Papa definitely met my expectations. I got very lucky without a reservation, and was seated right in front of the drummer and pianist. The pianist, after one of their numbers, said “I hope you like drums” and we had a good laugh. I ate something. It was delicious. I don’t remember what it was. Just go and have a good time! As a tall person I’ll say the bathroom ceiling is low! Also, only cash is accepted, so be prepared. I recommend this place as a chill, fun, music-filled place to go. I personally wouldn’t be able to hold a conversation there but 1) I am a bit soft-spoken and 2) I was sitting next to the musicians. Enjoy ☺️

3 Star Rating Chez Papa Jazz Club offers a wonderful atmosphere, with an intimate setting and outstanding live music that truly enhances the experience. The service was impeccable, and the staff stood out as the highlight of the evening - attentive, friendly, and professional. However, the food was disappointing, especially considering the prices. We ordered several starters and three main dishes, but the portions were extremely small - more suited for children than a proper meal. The flavors were underwhelming, and we found ourselves relying on the provided salt to add some taste. Given the high prices, the value simply wasn’t there. Additionally, there were unexpected charges. Despite the already steep pricing, we were also charged an entry fee, which was not communicated in advance. Another inconvenience is that the restaurant currently does not accept credit cards, so bringing cash is necessary. Overall, Chez Papa Jazz Club is worth visiting for the music and atmosphere, but not for the dining experience. If you plan to go, be aware that a food order is required to stay, and be prepared for the costs. While it was an interesting experience, I wouldn’t return.

5 Star Rating I cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant! It was recommended by someone at our hotel, and I'm so glad we followed their advice. First of all, the space is beautifully decorated: lavish yet warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive (bounjour, Bogdan!). And the food... WOW! As soon as we sat, we were offered to start our evening with champagne or kir royales (yes, please!) along with simple but delicious black olive spread and fresh bread to start. We ordered the lamb with ratatouille (Sunday's dish of the day) and the cod fillet. Both were incredibly flavorful -- the lamb was so tender and rich, and the team at Vagenende recommended the perfect wine pairing to go with it. We ended the meal with a crème brûlée that was perfect -- not too sweet, with the perfectly caramelized crust. Please go, you won't regret it.

5 Star Rating My mom and I spent a week in Paris for the first time, and this restaurant was our most memorable from the trip! We were recommended to go here from our wonderful friends at Hotel de Saints Pères (incredible Hotel!) and the ambience was so incredibly fun!! The place was decorated with so much character, we felt like we went back in time! Our waiter was so fun and friendly with great recommendations. Our food was great, picture below. Also, if you’re looking to party, all you need is to order the Rum Baba at the end of your meal! 😂

5 Star Rating Tasty, authentic French cuisine with great service. Their escargot is HUGE and ever tasty! Oysters, bone marrow were excellent. And so was the veal liver!! Loved dinner here, hope to make it back soon!

4 Star Rating A very sunny spot to sit outside! The onion soup was ok, but we had a much better one during our stay in Paris. A bit weird to bring the tab without asking if we wanted anything else and mid our drinks, but all in all the place was fine.
