The service was super and very attentive. The restaurant offers a wonderfully warm atmosphere, and the food was delicious. They also have a selection of very good wine. A special highlight was the great live piano music, which made the evening truly special. Highly recommended!

Went here the other night, I really believe the bad reviews are just one offs (slightly sensitive people). The ambiance is spectacular, live piano music really sets a nice tone. The food was really good, portions are perfekt size and drinks are well made. Staff friendly and attentive. Only tiny thing is that you should make it clear that the little starter biscuits are not on the house as it can cause some confusion for customers. Overall wonderful experience 💫

The food here is delicious. I had the truffle fettuccine and my husband had the breaded veal. Out of this world!!! We started with the Arancini and it was heavenly as well. The wine really hit the spot also. The vibe and ambiance of this place is so beautiful. It’s such a romantic aesthetic with the live piano. Looks just like the pictures!

Recently visited Paris and happened to run into this wonderful restaurant nearby our hotel. We had no reservation yet they were able to accommodate our party of 4. The food was absolutely incredible. The ambiance with the live piano music was perfect and very inviting. The pasta tasted homemade and it arrived at our table hot and incredibly tasty. Our server, Gabriella, was amazing. Very professional and accommodating to all our request. I highly recommend this Italian restaurant!

service très très bien, buffet et cadre en dessous de nos attentes. Nous avons déjà brunché dans plusieurs 5 étoiles et celui ci est en dessous des autres où tout au moins de certains. Néanmoins, le tarif de 70€/personne est en dessous des tarifs pratiqués dans les autres 5 étoiles et du coup le rapport qualité reste correct. Nous avons également profité de massages au sein de l’hôtel et si les pièces de massage sont très exiguës mais les masseuses sont très professionnelles et les massages sont parfaits.

I found this cozy place when I was wondering in the neighborhood. I liked the vibe inside. You need to order your food in the front and take your tray upstairs to eat. I ordered roasted beef sandwich. The bread was perfect. It was freshly baked and crunchy. The beef and other ingredients were ok (that’s why I gave 4 for the food)

In a city full of some of the best restaurants and bakeries in the world, this was among one of my best culinary experiences in Paris to date. Their bread is delicious and their selection of salads was covetable - I wish there was some more places like this in London. A simple concept but so, so well executed.

Perfect healthy lunch stop for delicious, fresh food and beautiful music. Big fan of this concept and sure to come back. My “everything but” salad with roasted vegetables hit the spot perfectly and tuned me up for my afternoon - all for €12, couldn’t ask for more. Bravo

Delicious hot fresh foccacia sandwiches. I love all the options they have; so this will suit anyone. You can see the bread being baked fresh. And then again after they put in the toppings. I went with the Stonker; which is fresh mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, arugula and olive oil. I made them add balsamic as well which made it even better. €9 is a steal for such a big sandwich. Order first and then lots of place to sit and eat upstairs. Must visit in Paris.

Cosi (left bank Paris) is one of my favorite sandwich shops. The roast beef “cheesy English” with fresh bread is my go-to selection! But the rest of their menu is equally delicious! There is a wonderful dining hall upstairs if you want to relax while dining in, or if preferred, to-go options are handled expeditiously! In fact, their sandwiches are perfect for travelers! Highly recommend!

Le Relais de l’Entrecôte is an absolute 5 star experience. From the moment we arrived the staff were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and impressively efficient despite how busy it was. There was a lively atmosphere and the place was packed, but everything ran smoothly and the service still felt personal. The food was excellent. The salad starter was fresh, crisp, and perfectly balanced, and the steak was cooked exactly how we asked. The meat was tender, full of flavour, and the sauce is honestly the kind you keep thinking about after you leave. The fries were also spot on, hot, crispy, and kept coming. To finish, the profiteroles were outstanding, light pastry, generous chocolate sauce, and just the right level of sweetness. The crème brûlée was also fantastic with a proper crackly top and creamy centre. Great quality throughout, great value for what you get, and definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend if you are in Paris and want a classic, delicious meal with a brilliant atmosphere. Must try!

the famous steak frites! my friends and i went on a wednesday, around 830 and were seated about an hour later. the wait in line was fine, but we were disappointed to wait a bit longer for our food, especially considering they serve one menu. service was quicker for the second serving around, and our dessert was quick as well. the food was delicious and the profiteroles were to die for! i think the food amount varied a bit, but i was happy for the price.

If you’re willing to wait in line, it’s absolutely worth going. If you’re in Paris, you really should come here at least once. The standard menu includes fries, salad, and their Paris sauce steak, followed by dessert. It’s not a place to sit for hours chatting, as there’s usually a long queue outside, but the food makes it worthwhile. Everything is delicious, and I never leave Paris without stopping by. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s definitely a must try spot before leaving the city. Prices are reasonable: you pay a standard per person menu, with dessert and drinks added separately. Come hungry 🤤you’ll leave very full.

Iconic steak frites — simple menu, standout sauce Le Relais de l’Entrecôte opens at 12 noon, and it’s already queueing by then. We arrived early around 11:30, and there was already a line — clearly a very popular spot. They keep things extremely simple: they only serve steak frites. When you’re seated, the only thing they ask is how you want your steak cooked. That’s it. The real highlight is their signature sauce — unique, rich, and absolutely the reason people keep coming back. I really loved it. Efficient, no-frills, and iconic for a reason. Definitely worth trying at least once.

Le Relais de l’Entrecôte is one of those Parisian rites of passage where you don’t book a table, you earn it. You queue. You wait. You people-watch. You start questioning your life choices. Then suddenly, you’re inside and it all makes sense. The interior is classic Paris bistro bingo: old-school, no-nonsense, charming in a “we’ve been doing this forever, don’t touch anything” kind of way. Service is fair, efficient, and laser-focused, because there’s exactly one thing to eat: steak-frites. No menu drama, no decision fatigue. Meat or… meat. The famous sauce? Honestly, the real star of the show. Rich, addictive, and doing most of the heavy lifting here. The steak itself is… fine. Nothing to write home about, nothing to cry over either. The fries, unfortunately, arrive a bit overcooked, crunchy taken just a step too far, like they stayed in the fryer while the sauce stole the spotlight. Desserts, though? Solid. Reliable. Comforting. The kind that makes you forgive everything that came before and leave happy anyway. So yes, you’ll queue, you’ll eat steak-frites, you’ll love the sauce, you’ll raise an eyebrow at the fries, and you’ll probably say, “Worth it” as you walk back into the Paris streets. And somehow, that’s exactly why this place remains iconic!

Such a great little spot! The nachos are very good, definitely different from American nachos but still enjoyable. The chicken tacos and classic smash burger were fantastic! Beer was really good too! Had a great atmosphere and the staff are very nice! Would definitely come back before the end of our trip :)

A great environment, like a mini garden inside. Very good wine and oysters. The menu was rich in varieties and plates decorated very beautiful. They taste fresh but maybe I would expect a bit more complex plates.

This was one of my favourite restaurants during my Paris trip. The interior is stunning, open, airy and inviting filled with plants. It’s a French fusion restaurant with touches of Asian and Japanese flavours. Reservations are a must here as it’s a very busy restaurant especially during nights. The service is impeccable honestly one of the best we’ve experience in Paris. The waiter is very attentive, friendly and overall makes you feel like you’re lifelong friends. We had a party of 4 and ordered quite a few dishes to try out. The salmon dishes were all amazing, fish was fresh and of quality. Two of my favourite was definitely the poke bowl and scallops. Every dish has dynamic flavouring, however the only one that was lacklustre was the dish. We felt it was a little bland and lacking in complexity. The desserts were all amazing as well, not too sweet and the perfect ending. I’d definitely recommend this place!

This place is a rare pearl (literally) in Paris. Good is really good, the place is beautiful, and the service is impeccable. The only BUT is that they only have one vegan/vegetarian option and is not WOW! Is good tho but not at the same level as the other dishes. The love night party is fun, unique and charming! Super recommended!

Great experience! The atmosphere is mostly cozy, though occasionally marred by loud music and wait times during busy hours. Don’t forget to book before. While the food presentation and taste are commendable, it is a bit pricey (around €80-100 per person). But worth a visit for a distinct Parisian experience!

Very nice jazz bar, with dinner and live music. Although we didn’t have a reservation, we only had to wait a few minutes and were given a lovely table with view to the musicians. The staff is very friendly and warm and made us feel like home. The food was also excellent. We highly recommend it!

I decided to have a solo date, dress up and find a good spot to eat. I happened upon Chez Papa Jazz while looking for a place to chill that was friendly to 40+ yo looking for a certain type of vibe. Chez Papa definitely met my expectations. I got very lucky without a reservation, and was seated right in front of the drummer and pianist. The pianist, after one of their numbers, said “I hope you like drums” and we had a good laugh. I ate something. It was delicious. I don’t remember what it was. Just go and have a good time! As a tall person I’ll say the bathroom ceiling is low! Also, only cash is accepted, so be prepared. I recommend this place as a chill, fun, music-filled place to go. I personally wouldn’t be able to hold a conversation there but 1) I am a bit soft-spoken and 2) I was sitting next to the musicians. Enjoy ☺️

Société Paris delivers exactly what you want from a glamorous, high energy dining room. The atmosphere is confident, stylish, and undeniably sexy in a way that feels intentional rather than forced. This is a place to dress to impress (but quietly), settle in, and enjoy the vibe as much as the food. One slightly disappointing detail is that we had visited two restaurants, L’Avenue and Société, and the menus were essentially identical. If you are looking for variety between venues, that lack of differentiation is noticeable. That said, Société more than stands on its own. The experience sits in the same category as Gattopardo in London and classic scene institutions like Sturehof and Astoria in Stockholm, and it also brings to mind Da Giacomo and Paper Moon in Milan. The difference is that Société feels a touch more modern and a bit sexier, with sharper energy in the room. The food is excellent, satisfying, and consistently well executed. The wine is equally strong, and the team is a major part of what makes the experience work. Service was attentive, personable, and professional throughout, with the kind of effortless hospitality that keeps the evening flowing. Overall, despite the menu overlap with L’Avenue, Société is a standout for anyone who wants very good food and wine in a room that feels fashionable, lively, and thoroughly Parisian.

Crowded with very good vibe and amazing service. Food is average but the waitresses as very very cool. Each of them wearing the dress or outfit they choose themselves to show the character. I loved being there. It’s not about food though it’s more about lifestyle.

One of the few places open Christmas Eve and Christmas, and boy were we lucky because the food was amazing. The food wasn't the best part of the experience though, the maitre d was so friendly and so full of energy, getting to see him twice was great as he did everything in his power to make sure we felt welcome.

I visited Vagenende with my family for an early dinner while on vacation and had a lovely meal. The restaurant staff offered a warm welcome and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Marco was our host and he was absolutely wonderful! He was kind, friendly, and offered great insights and suggestions - we could not have been better attend to. The food was delicious; it was prepared extremely well and the portion size was very filling. We were very glad to have stopped by and hope to return in the future!

Great ambiance, best most friendly service. The reason for 4 on the food is that dessert (chocolate mousse) was too sweet, not the right consistency and disappointing for French standards. Otherwise, fantastic all around.

If only I hadn't gotten involved in eating at more trending places (trending in the culinary sense). Vagenende is one of a handful of restaurants that, for me, embody the best of French cuisine. Reliable and varied menu. My partner is a big fan of locally smoked herring - and they had the best he's ever had in Paris. Staff is so nice. They are not stuffy. You can have 5 appetizers if that is your wish. Or any other order of things. It is open all day. It's quiet in mid-afternoon. The Belle Epoque/Art Nouveau interior is exquisite. Great boulevard, near to the haunts of some of the literary greats. Anyway, the food is amazing. In addition to the herring, my partner had the marrow bone (which he had several places in Paris and pronounced this to be the best). I had a salad with poached egg and lardons. On a return trip, I had the rock fish soup (rich but not hearty or filling, a perfect first course). We shared mains. Cantal cheeseburger with house made bun and excellent french fries. Traditional Alsatian sauerkraut with sausage made just down the street. Cod with mashed potatoes. The first time we ate there, it was our only meal of the day. I don't recall which wines, but the house wines were excellent. So we had the homemade profiteroles for dessert. Years of dining in Paris on annual vacations and this restaurant is a stand-out.
