We had a very nice dinner at this restaurant. The ambient is pretty dark but nicely decorated. Food and dessert were very good and wine as well. Keep on mind this is a very expensive place. After the restaurant is closed you can jump into the bar on ground floor where DJ is playing music, which was convenient for us.

Myself and my family visited Lapérouse recently and had the most amazing experience. Nathan was an incredible server - very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious - We highly recommend the Truffled Croque Monsieur starter. The atmosphere and history of the place truly made the meal unforgettable.

Very nice and stylish restaurant. Staff was polite and welcoming. Food was good, but pricey. There was a lady playing piano which was a plus. After the restaurant part was closed they opened the bar where we could enjoy few additional drinks. Overall, vibe was good and I recommend visiting the place.

A beautiful and historic Parisian restaurant with an elegant atmosphere and impeccable service. The setting alone makes it worth a visit. The only downside is that the food is quite rich and heavy, so it may not suit everyone’s taste. Overall, a memorable experience.

I'm writing this review with a considerable delay. We visited the restaurant at April 2nd, right after I proposed to my girl. I had to make a reservation about 50 days before. The online response was very sufficient. You need to park in one of the parkings arpund, with an average of 5-min-walking distance. The reception was very warm and classy. We had to wait at the bar to get to our table. The bartenders were too serious and took their time to prepare our drinks, but they delivered perfectly in the end. The bar area was transforming into a little dance floor as the reception lady finally led us to our table upstairs. A very large comfortable classy table near the pianist who was playing and singing a very soothing french song. The menu was exquisite, we ordered escargot and a duck-appetizer as entreés, which were amazing. Wine menu was extensive and the kind waiter offered us a wonderful selection. For the main course we had a fish with caviar (the caviar menu is something else itself) and I asked for a personal suggestion from the waiter, who offered me a duck dish which was outworldly. We were so full that we couldn't have any desserts, but I can affirm that the dessert menu was also very colorful. The service and behaviour of the staff was extremely kind and welcoming. I personally would have no other reason to visit Paris again, except spending another dinner at this gem of a restaurant.

One of my favourite traditional bistros in Paris. If you’re looking for a classic Parisian dining experience instead of modern fine dining, Allard is a great choice. The restaurant has been around since 1932, and the warm wooden interior, white tablecloths and old-school atmosphere make it feel timeless. The garlic frog legs were the highlight of the meal for me. They were incredibly tender and served with a bowl of rice, which paired surprisingly well with the rich garlic butter sauce. The escargots were also very good, especially with the fresh bread for soaking up the garlic butter. We also enjoyed the pork, fish and beef mains, and I highly recommend saving room for the profiteroles. The warm chocolate sauce poured over vanilla ice cream and choux pastry was the perfect ending. The dining room is quite small and cosy, so expect tables to be close together, but that also adds to the authentic Parisian bistro atmosphere. I’d happily come back and would definitely recommend Allard to anyone visiting Paris for the first time and wanting to experience a traditional French bistro.

Very delicious experience. Came for the duck and olives, and it did not disappoint! We started with the pate en croute and escargot, both to share, and we’d order them both again. After that, it was on to the main event. The duck was exceptionally cooked and the olives were a delicious (and fun!) combination. Great experience overall, and would be back! By the way, the sommelier was incredibly kind and knowledgeable…really appreciated her hospitality!

Dinner at Allard was probably one of the best meals we had in Paris last week. The food was excellent—classic, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor—and the entire experience felt warm, polished, and memorable. Chef Ducasse’s team does a wonderful job wherever he opens a restaurant, and Allard is no exception. A wonderful Paris dinner and a place we would happily return to.

Great experience. Given to my husband to his birthday as he is a great chef in Czech Republic. His preference was to eat in Alan Ducasse restaurant, surprise done, more then I expected. Small, clean, great service, lovely wine, perfect food, wonderfull time here. Lovely weiters and the manager too. I never stay in restaurant longer then 1 hour, but here 2 hours were like few minutes. Meat was exactly as we ordered. Leavers, best I ever eat. Perfect french atmosphere. Love it. You have to go there. ❤️🙏

We were a bit surprised to find such a charming place, with fantastic food so close to the Notre Dame, but this is Paris, not London, so maybe we shouldn't have been! Massive shout out to the brilliant woman running the floor (I am going to assume she owns the joint) who happily took pity on my school boy French and chatted to us so amusingly in English. She also suggested the tiramisu for dessert - and if you taste it, you will understand why. I still ordered (as well) the crème brulee which was also a sensation. She was less happy about my asking for some butter and in fairness the bread was so good it didn't really need it. But y'know, butter.

The cozy atmosphere and wonderful service made this dining experience a true highlight to our trip. The food was delicious and fresh. It was a hearty, homemade French meal. My husband had baked fish and I had a ratatouille quiche. This did not feel like a space where many tourists visit. It was a wonderful find for us and gave us a chance to experience French cuisine not too far from our hotel. The server and chef were gracious. It is a place we hope to return to someday.

We stopped and at here while on vacation since our airbnb was just around the corner. The server was very nice and funny. Our meals were delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was pleasant being able to visit without yelling.

The service from the moment we walked in was top notch. The pacing of the food was great too. The dinner spanned over 2 hours, which we preferred instead of being drawn out. The Japanese influence on the dishes were well executed and they complemented the dishes. They were thoughtful in the seating where they skipped a table between each of the 2-top so the space can still feel intimate and private. My pet peeve for set dinner is sitting next to a table who is ahead of us so you lose the element of surprise for upcoming dishes. Duck was both of our favorite dish, so well executed even though they cooked mine extra well done because I’m pregnant it was still so tender. The lobster risotto dish was also superb, every bite from a different angle had a different taste and texture. My 2 constructive feedback would be with the 7 course selection, it would have been preferred to have a savory dish instead of a third dessert. Having 3 desserts for one person was excessive. Also, we mentioned that we were celebrating our 40th birthday and we saw the table in front of us served a dessert with a candle and ours didn't. Not a big deal but a small let down.

Unreal experience. The restaurant is set inside an art gallery, and we were lucky enough to get the best seat in the house. The dishes were sauce and broth-heavy, with a strong Southeast Asian-French fusion influence. As someone who loves seafood, this was right up my alley. My girlfriend wasn’t a big fan of the pigeon for the main course, but I thought it was great. The highlights for me were the passion fruit ice cream and the crab pasta — both were exceptional.

This review sums up why Ze Kitchen might be the best restaurant in the world. Aside from a team of all young future great chefs crowded into a small kitchen surrounded by class, William Ledeuil, Head Chef and owner for over 20 creates magic with every dish he serves. On this evening he and his staff proved that they deserved every accolade in the culinary world. Paris was covered by a heat dome. It was 102 degrees F. when we entered the restaurant. Ruben, the head maître d’ informed us that the air conditioning was basically not working but the restaurant was totally PACKED. Not one person was leaving. WHY? because of the experience that awaited them. The fans were out. Trips to the bathroom to pour water on yourself and back to 5 or 6 plates with a few amuse-bouches added on. This was our 200+ dinner in 23 years since Ze Kitchen opened and we will savor it.

We were welcomed warmly by Rueben. Everyone on staff were caring and helpful and competent to explain each dish that came to the table. Also dropped my napkin and it was replaced in seconds. . The food was exceptionally good. The kitchen staff and chef are very talented and creative. Best food and restaurant in Paris. We have been coming for well over 15 years. Thank you to the whole team for such a pleasant experience. Thank you again team.

So this is a restaurant that if I'm not wrong has kept the star since 2008. That gives the idea of the unlimited effort they are putting in serving the best food with the best experience as possible. They serve french cuisine with an Asian twist. I had marinated fish, monkfish and passion fruit dessert. All the dishes were really rich in taste and complete. Even if there were 5 or 6 different ingredients and even if they were really strong (sweetness, bitterness and so on) there was an incredible balance on each dish. The personal were nice and available each time. I recommend to go here at lunch were they offer 2/3 courses menu at a great price. Definitely recommended

Our food was exceptional and we didn't have to wait long between meals. The best Indian food I have had in Paris by far, I would highly recommend a visit.

It was like magic! Finding such a quality place in a busy and touristic Saint Michel area was not expected! It's a real gem, the food is so tasty and the portions are big. I recommend you to order chicken for the entrée;) What you see in the picture is just starters!

It's a cute place that's open late night you can order food till four 5 AM and it is decent. I would suggest going with items that would probably get ordered more rather than anything special. They also do Cabaret events, which is definitely a tourist trap, but it's not worth it. The piano bar upstairs, which is free is pretty cute and has a great atmosphere.

Second time in this place, this time weekend and it was just wonderful. Ambiance, live singing and piano, delicious food and drinks, friendly staff. This is a place for people who love live singing and edgy panache atmosphere. We were lucky to have different performers and everyone is so talented. This place is for people with a soul 🥰 who appreciate warmth ams passion vibes. I always make reservations to guarantee immediate availability. Gets really busy after 9pm.

We came to the restaurant for a late dinner around 10 PM. The place operates as a piano bar, with a live pianist and a singer who moves around the restaurant and performs near the tables. While this concept might appeal to some, it may not suit everyone – especially when the singer approaches your table while you're in the middle of chewing your food. We ordered two burgers and a steak. Unfortunately, the food was rather disappointing. The burgers were dry, served in equally dry buns, and lacked flavor. The steak, although requested medium, arrived lukewarm and overcooked to well-done. Overall, while the atmosphere may appeal to fans of live music and performance dining, the food did not meet expectations. It’s a place that might work for the experience, but not necessarily for the meal itself.

Truly enjoyed my evening here. The service was superb - so fast and thoughtful. The waiter saw me struggling to get service on my phone and immediately connected me to the Wifi! Very rare indeed. The band were highly skilled. I’ve been watching live Jazz bands around the World and I knew immediately they were top notch. I just wish that other guests were more respectful to the musicians and staff. We encountered some very rude people who kept talking so loudly over the musicians and seemed interested in only recording videos for their social media (??) I thought they were also very rude to the kind waiter when they asked loudly “MENUUUUU. You know MENU?”. The waiter was most professional in dealing with them. The food and wine was fantastic. My friend had the chicken fingers - so crispy and juicy. I had the charcuterie and the cheese was so yummy. A most comfortable place. Clean and with AC. Highly recommend this lovely spot. My friend and I really enjoyed ending our night out here. We felt safe and welcomed - most important for female travellers. I hope to come here again soon.

We came to Monk for a late dinner and since it was pouring rain outside we decided to take a table deep inside the restaurant. From our table we could see the water running down the cobblestone street and hear the thunders but we were warm and protected from the wind and cold. We had the hamburger without the cheese and beef tab with French fries. Both portions were big enough to satisfy the strong appetite. The beef was very tender and juicy. It was served with a tiny dish with caramelized onions and a small garden salad. The service was quick and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The prices are reasonable too. It was interesting to hear Freddy Mercury, Queens, The Weekend and Ariana Grande as a background music in France. We also ordered a warm chocolate dessert with a vanilla ice cream, but couldn’t finish it. It was very good, only we overestimated our abilities. 😊 We had our very late dinner and when we left around 11:00 pm and there were still people in the restaurant. I definitely recommend you to try this place.

We were a group of 6 in Paris to watch Rugby. We were lucky to find this bar on our first night. The staff were very welcoming and friendly,the food & beer were excellent. There was live music which was also excellent. We enjoyed the atmosphere so much that we went there for each of our four nights in Paris. I hope to return sometime.

The coffee was good and we had good time there. The barista was friendly and kind. But the best part for us was that we forgot and left our expensive camera there for about 45 minutes and went back and it was still there! :)

This was a recommendation we received specifically to ensure that as a family we could sample more traditional French dishes. We went with two adults and two children aged 13 and 8. The restaurant itself is certainly traditional in looks, pleasant and a little quirky inside. The décor if amphibiously focussed as you would expect, although one of the pictures on the wall of the restaurant by our table did take us a little by surprise... We opted for the frogs legs and snails for starters. Both were good and enjoyed by the whole family. The sauce that the snails were served in was very rich. We were a little surprised and possibly disappointed that they were not served in their shells, unlike in some other restaurants, but the taste was still good. For the main course we chose the steaks and the rabbit. For the steaks: They were properly cooked to our taste and enjoyed. However, we have to say that we have had better steaks in France. The rabbit was a little disappointing. It was served in an incredibly rich sauce that overpowered the flavour of the meat. Whilst I realise that it was advertised as with this particular sauce, it was just a little too much of it, and incredibly rich. It seemed as if an entire cow-full of cream had been emptied into a vat of butter just to make it. The service was friendly and pleasant, but there was nothing that really stood out. I have to say that given the premium price we paid for the meal it was, overall, a little disappointing. I know that we were paying partly for the location and the history, but I was left with the feeling that overall it was not worth the premium. On a final note, be prepared for some awkward questions if you take youngsters there and they need to use the bathroom. There are some frogs painted on the walls that really should have been told to "get a room"... This to the extent that this review was not published due to violating the decency policies.

We received a very strong recommendation to visit Roger La Grenouille from someone who ate their 30 years ago. We were a little skeptical because a lot can change in 30 years (ownership, apparently) but still gave it a try. The visit was worth every penny we paid for it. The food was excellent and so were the atmosphere in the service. We tried some of the frog leg dishes which were great, as well as other traditional dishes that were excellent. It's worthwhile reading about the restaurant before you visit, and better understand its history. Certainly adds to the dining experience.

Honestly, the food here is decent but nothing outstanding. Even the eponymous frog dishes aren’t particularly special. Don’t get me wrong, the food isn’t bad by any means but isn’t better than your average decent bistro. What stands out however are the vibes: the cosy interior with the live music really brings the place to life and makes it a lovely evening

Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were genuinely lovely and very attentive, which made us feel welcome straight away. The fried frog legs were incredible and the only place I found them in Paris. They were so good that I came back three times during my trip. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Paris, especially if you want to try something traditional. The snails in the wine sauce were also excellent and full of flavour.

The Great Canadian Pub is a fantastic spot in Paris if you're craving a genuine North American sports bar vibe right by the Seine. Lovely place with friendly staff. Kitchen folks are heroes, we had a couple Poutines (chicken and pulled pork with the latter being our favourite) and the entrecote with peppercorn sause. Fantastic value and taste for the money. Chefs kiss. We stumbled during the 2026 olympic hockey quarter finals and the atmosphere was cracking. Nothing roudy but energetic and loud. As a couple that rarely does anything with sports, it was great group to join in the energy.

Sometimes the best travel discoveries happen completely by accident, and that's exactly how we found The Great Canadian Pub. We were actually on our way to an Irish pub for a pint of Guinness when we walked past this place. We decided to pop in, found a table for the four of us right away, and before long I had a perfectly poured pint of Guinness in my hand. You can't come to Paris without having a pint somewhere... right? The Guinness was so good that I ended up ordering a second, and it was also where my oldest son enjoyed his very first pint. That made the visit even more memorable. What made the experience even more amusing was that my wife's family has French-Canadian heritage, so finding a Canadian pub in the middle of Paris was the last thing we expected. It turned into one of those fun travel memories you don't plan for. The staff was friendly, service was quick, and the prices were very reasonable considering the location near the Seine. We even stopped back later during the World Cup, and the place was absolutely packed with fans, creating a lively atmosphere. If you're looking for a relaxed pub with good drinks, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere while exploring Paris, The Great Canadian Pub is definitely worth a stop. Didnt rate the food sine we were there for drinks lol.

The Great Canadian is a great bar to meet other people traveling through Paris. The food is great and the service was amazing. One of the bartenders named Lou (I think) was great, she is very attentive asking how the food is and making sure you have everything you need. The stereotype of dry and rude servers in Paris absolutely does not apply to her. She was very kind and made us feel welcomed. It has a great vibe and great for watching sports and talking to people. I highly suggest The Great Canadian if you get the opportunity to go.

It’s quiet and quaint with one server who was very polite and accommodating with English menu. My husband had the eggs duxelles and juice with cappuccino which he liked very much. We will come back to Paris and visit here again and will recommend here to others.

In a very cold winter day, after walking for hours in the city, The Tea Caddy was a nice stop to warm up a bit. They have a big collection of tea. One tea pot can serve 2-3 mugs of tea and it’s quite nice. Service is helpful with your order.

Great spot for tea lovers. And if you want to eat real scones with real clotted cream, this is the place. The service is very nice. The girl working there was lovely. She took the time to advice me on the different teas so I could chose the right one.

Very sweet little tea shop. We enjoyed Rooibos Tea. We showed up about 25 minutes until closing. They were very welcoming and the tea was delicious. They are located across a tiny park on a little cobblestone street. I highly recommend a visit if you love loose tea.
