This restaurant is not just a place for dinner; it’s a whole experience. The elegance, history, and interior design come together in a truly unique way. We tried the snails, truffle pasta, and profiterole—each dish was perfect. And their butter with the bread? It’s something truly unique and delicious. Highly recommend!

The ambiance and piano player made this place so romantic. As one of the oldest restaurants in Paris, it surpassed all my expectations. The beef wellington was one of the best i've ever had! Amazing service and cocktails. Very demure.

It was a truly special day for me, and this place made it even more magical. From the moment I walked in, the warmth of the atmosphere, the beautiful decor, and the impeccable service lifted my mood instantly. The food? Absolutely divine. And with its perfect spot by the Seine, the view is just as breathtaking as the charming Parisian interior. A little slice of elegance that I won’t soon forget!

Lapérouse is an unforgettable culinary experience that seamlessly blends history, elegance, and refined gastronomy. The intimate atmosphere and charming decor, with its private salons exuding mystery and romance, transport you to another era—a time of exquisite taste and the art of living.
The menu is a true culinary masterpiece. Each dish is impeccably presented, with every plate resembling a work of art. The flavors are just as impressive—balanced, refined, and crafted from the finest ingredients. The service is impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who make you feel truly special throughout the evening.

Everything was great overall! The food was excellent—I especially loved the caviar pasta, which was absolutely the best, and the steak, which was a solid 10/10. However, I didn’t enjoy the sole meunière; it didn’t meet my expectations. The French fries were amazing, and I hope they stay on the menu forever because I’d love to have them again. This has become my favorite restaurant in Paris this time, and I can’t wait to return again and again. The mashed potatoes were very good, the truffle pasta was perfect, and the lobster pasta was equally incredible. The service was also very good, making the experience even better.”

had a wonderful dinner at Allard that truly lived up to its reputation. I started with the scallop appetizer, which was fresh, delicate, and a perfect introduction to the meal. For my main, I chose the roast chicken—absolutely incredible. It was savory, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully balanced. The atmosphere was warm and timeless, making it a memorable dining experience. I’m already planning to return with a group so we can try the famous duck, which I’ve heard amazing things about. Allard is a true Parisian classic, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Whether you’re a local or visiting, Allard is one of those MUST Dine location when in Paris. When you think of Traditional Parisian dishes, with a focus on ingredients and preparation, Allard will deliver 100%. The location is small and seating is very tight yet friendly. The services friendly and they offer suggestions when asked. The filet, the fish dish is a staple. Our daughter loved the strawberry and fresh whipped cream. And if you love a little kick to your dessert, the rum cake will be your new favorite. Reservations are required but well worth it.
Joseph Adelantar - 3 weeks ago
Heavily leaning on past reputation tourist restaurant. Everything in there has seen better days, the wrinkled shirts of the waiters and the outdated menu. The wines are very expensive, even for Paris at the cheapest glass of red for 15€. The chicken was cooked well, the snails were very good, but the extra vegetables a complete waste of money. I did not like the compulsory pre filled in tip.

My wife and I have just come to Allard as first time since we heard about this restaurant. Fog legs, Escargot and Duck are popular here, so we follow them. They were fantastic and tasty.

Agree with other reviews-a cozy spot sans tourists. Garlicky onion soup, house made bread, salad and a glass of wine sitting by the windows and the heater was a perfect lunch after an hour wait to enter Ste. Chapelle and walking around the just reopened Notre Dame. The server was very pleasant and wanted to get our order in “before the chef flies away.”

The cozy atmosphere and wonderful service made this dining experience a true highlight to our trip. The food was delicious and fresh. It was a hearty, homemade French meal. My husband had baked fish and I had a ratatouille quiche. This did not feel like a space where many tourists visit. It was a wonderful find for us and gave us a chance to experience French cuisine not too far from our hotel. The server and chef were gracious. It is a place we hope to return to someday.

Dropped by this quaint place during our son’s birthday. We were all tired from walking around the whole day, but there server really made us feel welcome, traditional French cuisine which was fantastic. They even gave us free slices of cake to celebrate our son’s birthday.
Came back the next day to have more food and dessert :)

needed a warm place to retreat from the cold after visiting Shakespeare & Co. and stumbled upon this lovely restaurant. had tea while waiting for dinner service which only starts at 7pm. they have wifi if you need it. it's a beautiful, elegant and quaint space. i love that it's dimly lit, gives you a very 80s-restaurant -n french-movies ambience, along with the framed artwork and shelved books. ordered croquettes de camembert (most divine), daube de bœuf (which comes with tagliatelle) and the salad that comes with cheese. they were all delicious. the waitstaff were warm and friendly.

We absolutely loved our dining experience! The food was not just delicious, but also super creative and full of inspiration. Every course was a delight! The service was outstanding; they really went above and beyond. Even when my wife arrived quite late, they were so accommodating and let her order a main course. Plus, my six-year-old twin boys felt like little princes the whole time! It was such a wonderful experience for our family!

True to it's Michelin star, this restaurant delivers exquisite dishes on a surprise (not printed) 5 or 7-dish menu based on the freshest ingredients. The chef added s lot of citrus notes to the current menu, which made it light and interesting. Short, but confident wine list. Warm service. Reservation is a must. Very highly recommended

I ordered the 3-course menu and upgraded the main course to lobster pasta for an extra 15 euros — everything was quite delicious. The only downside was that the tables were too close to each other, which made it inconvenient to leave my seat.

We booked this place based on Google reviews and were very satisfied. The staff were very hospitable, spoke English enough for us to order with no errors and were polite as ever. We ordered drinks, starters and mains and were not left waiting despite it being relatively busy. The food was outstanding. The lamb korma has to be one of the best I’ve had. I would highly recommend this place if you are visiting Paris and are looking for good dinner vibes in the Latin quarter. Ask for a seat by the window for some people watching entertainment!

Customer service was excellent. Warm and friendly. Waiters were attentive and pleasant.
Nice deco, clean resto.
The food was good, but to be honest, it’s not the best Indian food that I have. A little bit bland compared to some other restaurants I have been but, still very flavorful because Indian food is naturally quite flavorful, so the curry sauces were just a tad less what I was expecting.
The soup in the entrée was quite delicious. I was expecting the samosas to be a little better, but hey, I still ate them because they weren’t bad.
They served us some nice cumin crackers (not on the menu, included in the service, so no additional charge) with some sauces, which included pepper sauce. I think it would be a good idea to leave these sauces on the table during the main course, for guests who wish to add some to their dish.
19euros for a 3 course meal (reasonable price for that area). Just wish we had a few more choices in that formula. Overall it was a nice experience.

We've been visiting this jazz club for several years now. Earlier this month, we lucked out and were there for the late Sunday night jam session. We had a blast! The music was fabulous, the crowd enthusiastic, the staff as welcoming as ever. It feels like a real slice of Paris life.

The waitress, the food, the wine, the live jazz, the atmosphere....what can I say....AMAZING! My favorite part beyond the music was the intimacy of the restaurant/jazz bar. The service was quick. I could see the man in the kitchen working diligently to get everyone's orders out hot and fresh. The waitress had great recommendations for a snack and wine.

There a live concert by a duo who were really great. The concert was free but for the drinks, which were reasonable. The staff were kind and, it seems, really good to the musicians!

We came to Monk for a late dinner and since it was pouring rain outside we decided to take a table deep inside the restaurant. From our table we could see the water running down the cobblestone street and hear the thunders but we were warm and protected from the wind and cold.
We had the hamburger without the cheese and beef tab with French fries. Both portions were big enough to satisfy the strong appetite. The beef was very tender and juicy. It was served with a tiny dish with caramelized onions and a small garden salad.
The service was quick and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The prices are reasonable too.
It was interesting to hear Freddy Mercury, Queens, The Weekend and Ariana Grande as a background music in France.
We also ordered a warm chocolate dessert with a vanilla ice cream, but couldn’t finish it. It was very good, only we overestimated our abilities. 😊
We had our very late dinner and when we left around 11:00 pm and there were still people in the restaurant.
I definitely recommend you to try this place.

We came here for drinks with some friends on Saturday night and we were pleasantly surprised when we saw there was live music. Very cozy and vibrant place. Even though we missed the happy hour, prices for the wine list were very decent for Paris standards. For beer lovers, they have an extensive selection of draught and international beer. The waiter was very attentive and nice to us.

Authentic French Classics with a Great Vibe!
Stumbled upon this place without a reservation and was pleasantly surprised to be seated right away, even during a busy hour. The staff was friendly, and they provided an English menu which made ordering easy.
I tried the fried frog legs and the beef tartare—both were absolutely excellent.
The atmosphere was lively, with a fun pop-rock soundtrack from the 70s and 80s playing in the background, which added to the charm.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy traditional French cuisine in a welcoming setting !

This restaurant is terrific! We first ate here in 1983, when it was in a different location and with the original owners. Today, it's just as good as we remember.
We were celebrating my birthday and we started with French onion soup (superb) plus 6 escargots, which we're excellent. For dinner, my wife had tuna with vegetables, both cooked perfectly, and I had a frog burger, which was excellent. For dessert, caramel rice pudding with hazelnuts.
The service is excellent and the food quality is unsurpassed. You won't be disappointed.
Barry Cadish - a month ago
We visited specifically to try the frog legs and because of the high reviews. The restaurant offers a nice dining atmosphere—quiet and slightly reminiscent of fine dining—which explains the higher prices. The garlic frog legs were delicious, and the service was excellent and attentive. A special mention to the sole waitress managing the entire floor; it must have been hectic for her, but she did an amazing job.

Excellent food and super friendly staff, very easy to book a table especially as a last minute whim on a Saturday Evening which is usually not the case in Paris!
I had the full three course with frog legs with garlic and parsley which was juicy and tender as my main. If you want Frog legs in Paris served in multiple variants (Pan/Fried/Burger) try this place!
Loved the decor with all the frog inspired ornaments yet retaining a classic bistro aesthetic. I would definitely go back.

The dining experience was truly remarkable. The staff went above and beyond, the cozy interior created a welcoming feel, and the food was simply perfect. Couldn't have imagined a better place for dinner while in Paris.
We tried several dishes, starting with the snails in wine sauce, which were both flavourful and unique, reminding us of the taste of pies from home. We also had a paté as a starter and the Saint-Jacques for the main - they were really delicate and tasty, I never thought that spinach could be so delicious. Each dish was elegantly simple yet packed with incredible flavours.
Thank you for an incredible experience!

Visiting The Great Canadian Pub in Paris was an absolute blast! It was even better because I went with a Canadian friend who felt right at home. This pub is smack-dab in the heart of the Notre Dame area and offers a fantastic taste of Canadian culture in the oldest district of Paris.
The vibe at this place is super welcoming and upbeat, making it the perfect spot to catch a sports match, whether it's hockey or football. And let me tell you, the terrace is something special. It's such a chill setting to watch a game while soaking up the Parisian atmosphere.
Now, let's talk about the best part - happy hour! The timing couldn't be more perfect, with great prices that don't skimp on quality or experience. It's the ideal opportunity to mingle with locals and fellow visitors while enjoying the pub's top-notch offerings.
And the food, oh boy! The poutine was absolutely mouthwatering, with the perfect blend of flavors and textures. And don't even get me started on the wings - they were cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. Pairing them with a Canadian beer made for a truly authentic and satisfying meal.
The Great Canadian Pub is an absolute gem for anyone craving a taste of Canada in Paris. Whether you're a Canadian, a sports fan, or just looking for a chill spot to unwind with good food and drinks, this place ticks all the boxes. I can't recommend it enough for its fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and that amazing terrace setting.
