Fabulous vegan food - we ordered the Crepe and the special for the day (some kind of pie with broccoli), which was delicious. The side of potatoes was nicely done. Finally found a Vegan French Onion Soup - and so my trip to France is finally complete (very nice taste). Great to find a Vegan spot, was not disappointed.

The most stunning French all vegan restaurant!
These were cruelty free classic French flavours. And YES THE Crème brûlée cracked!!
Their team was very attentive and knowledgable and supported us by speaking English which was appreciated.
We made a reservation as it does get busy.

A wonderful find. A restaurant that veganised french cuisine. We had French onion soup & mushroom pate to start. They were divine. Then we had spinach & walnut pesto lasagna & bourguignon seitan with potatoes. Dishes were presented beautifully & were filling. However we managed to squeeze in a couple of desserts too. Thankfully we had a good walk to return to our hotel. The manager/waiter who served us was very friendly, informative and fun to chat to. He was invested in plant based cuisine & ensuring his patrons enjoyed their experience at the restaurant. Would give 10 out of 5!

Our visit to L'Ambroisie was the best meal during our 5-day visit to Paris. The space was quiet, clean, and decorated with chandeliers and geometric wall art in red and white which evoked 80's "art."
The food was excellent in flavor, presentation, and creativity. The ala carte menu was a refreshing departure from fixed course menus at many fine dining restaurants in the city. We thoroughly enjoyed eat dish, and every bite was a surprise. I had the lamb in five preparations, and it was great. The bream came in a bowl full of caviar,.which was also excellent. The William pear dessert will haunt me for the rest of my days - the caramel sauce was true perfection.
Service was also extraordinary, with the perfect balance of professional and friendly which made us comfortable for the meal. The waiter made a couple of jokes that elevated the dining experience by defusing what otherwise might have been awkward situations. The entire staff was attentive and performed as if choreographed.
We will definitely visit L'Ambroisie during our next visit to Paris.

After having been to multiple fine dining restaurants in Paris, L'Ambroisie is probably the best so far. Despite not having the typical tasting menu, the à la carte experience is just as astounding. I decided to skip the Appetizers since none of them appealed to me so instead, I had 2 main courses and a dessert.
For the first main, I got the Turbot and I would say it was good if not the best. I've had a spotless version back in London and this didn't quite live up to the mark. Still, the sauce and the ravioli accompanying it elevated the dish to another level. The 2nd main was the Lamb in 5 expressions, and this was probably the best meat dish I've had in a Michelin star setting. It was outstanding in almost every aspect. I'm not a fan of cold foods like the carpaccio, but I'll make an exception this time. The 4 other techniques were simply extraordinary!!
Finally for the dessert I had the William Pear and again - Sublime! Both the lamb and the pear courses were pure works of art! The mignardises after the dessert were equally impressive. Truly magical!
The only thing I noticed - all other tables had bread and butter served and I wasn't! I hope it's because they forgot. Was going to take off a star here but given the amazingness of the luncheon, I'll let it pass.

This was my second visit to this restaurant and I loved it even more! I’m glad we made the trip back to Paris and could get a reservation here. It’s actually one of my favorite 3 star Michelins out of the others in the city. Main reason is the consistency of the service, food, and ambiance. You can’t go wrong here, the food is just superb, the taste is exactly what you’re looking for when you ask for French fine dining. It also wasn’t too heavy because we chose the seafood options for lunch. The dessert is always so perfect
The staff is lovely and so friendly. It’s one of those restaurants you just need to try once in your life. And if you’re going to splurge, do it the right way. This is it.

Dining at L’Ambroisie was an extraordinary experience—one that truly leaves you searching for words.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was captivating. The interior is beautifully designed, where classic French colours and architectural elegance meet subtle contemporary touches. It feels both comforting and refined, intimate yet undeniably luxurious.
The service was impeccable from the start. We were warmly welcomed, and although the menu is entirely in French, our server spoke perfect English and thoughtfully guided us through each section—appetisers, mains, and desserts. With his explanations (and a little help from Google Translate), understanding the dishes was effortless.
What impressed us most was the server’s guidance in pairing our appetiser and main courses so they flowed seamlessly together. This level of attention and culinary intuition truly elevated the experience.
We began with the seasonal mushroom and truffle puff—a dish that takes truffle to another dimension. Truffle is woven into every element: the delicate puff pastry, the sauce, and the way it enhances the richness of the liver pâté. Every bite was deeply aromatic and indulgent.
For the main course, I chose the five-course lamb, while my partner opted for the fish with caviar. Both dishes showcased the ingredients at their absolute best—pure, precise, and flawlessly executed. Each plate felt complete and perfectly balanced; it was impossible to imagine a better version of these dishes.
Dessert was equally memorable. The chestnut dessert was quite literally autumn on a plate. Chestnut appeared in multiple forms—purée, meringue, and crisp—beautifully balanced by a bright tangerine sauce. The gentle sweetness of the chestnut was lifted by the citrus acidity, creating depth and harmony.
The chocolate tart delivered an intense yet elegant cocoa flavour, paired with a silky vanilla ice cream that brought everything together with a smooth, rounded finish.
We opted for wines by the glass to preserve space for the food, and the sommelier was friendly, knowledgeable, and generous with her advice—another highlight of the evening.
This was, without question, one of the best dining experiences we have ever had—surpassing even other three-Michelin-star restaurants we’ve tried. L’Ambroisie’s three stars are not only deserved, but a testament to over 30 years of extraordinary consistency and excellence.
A truly unforgettable meal.
A final note on the service—quite simply, it was flawless. Every interaction was warm, intuitive, and genuinely caring. We only wish we had brought some euro cash with us, as we would have loved to leave a tip to properly express our gratitude. Please consider this heartfelt note our sincere thank you instead.
All in all, it was an evening filled with beauty, generosity, and unforgettable flavours—one that will stay with us for a very long time, and one we cannot wait to relive again 💫🍷

3 Michelin ⭐ polarizing restaurant.
Chef Bernard Pacaud's food is beautiful in its simplicity, a distillation of French nouvelle cuisine to its purest form. No further editing is needed on his plate. The cost is high and the service is generally unwelcoming. The food is simple, pursuit of perfection. That simplicity can be a stark contrast to the high prices

My wife and I ate here it was very good. It’s definitely perfect for Americans on vacation it serves you something you miss. The burger and fries was delicious and we got the nachos and to finish it up a banana split. It all was so good the service was excellent and the atmosphere tried hard to look like an American diner in Paris. it’s perfect it’s really the little things in life. They have 3 locations and I’d for sure recommend this place to anyone looking for a piece of home.

Been here a couple of times and it has never disappointed. Loved every dish I tried.
I asked the server to get us a brownie and a candle in it since it was my friend’s birthday and she did, at the perfect time. Thank you for that.
Can’t wait to come again.

Very good cuisine in a beautiful 17th century building. The place is both traditional and stylish with backlit bottle shelves. Tasty truffle pizetta, fresh pasta with squid and shells served piping hot and tasty too, generous basil risotto, very good tiramisu. Very wide choice of wines and very good advice for selecting one. Smiling and attentive service. In the end, good value for money and a very good time.

A wonderful experience for dinner and drinks. Maria served us well and everyone else was really friendly and helpful. Don't speak French, no problem. Accent free English all around. The calamari appetizer was one of the best I've ever had (Ive had many)! My wife had Veal and I had Ossobuco. Both were phenomenal. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food, especially in Paris. A must for the Italian food lover in Paris.

We stopped by here for a quick bite and were very pleasantly surprised. We asked if they could prep something in less than 20 minutes and the hostess smiled and told us it was no problem and that the fresh pasta was quick and could be ready fast. She was right.
The pasta was delicious, and the wine spectacular. Would come here again any time. The vibe is romantic, chic and inviting. We felt more like we were guests in a beautiful home than patrons at a business.
Perfect date spot or evening where you want to feel the magic of Le Marais. Recommend!

Our hotel suggested this place as it is right around the corner. Owners just bought the place at the beginning of the year and are in the process of turning it around. Everything is so freaking good. After eating steak frites for the past week, this place had the best hands down.

Under new Ownership and WOW. Located in Place du Marche Sainte Catherine which is a lovely area. From what I have seen and talking to locals (I had not been there before), there is now better food and better service. Le Marche interior has been updated and the wine list has something for everyone. The menu is diverse and fairly priced. We didn't wait, but as people find out about these improvement and changes, this will be the place to be.
The new owner has revamped the menu for more classic French style with a supporting wine list. Inside is really nice and the patio was perfect.
I found out that the Owner (Thibault) was the previous owner of my favorite Bistro in Paris that unfortunately didn't make it through the unprecedented shutdown during Covid. So glad he is back. I have never felt more comfortable than his restaurants.
The whole experience was amazing. We cannot wait to go again.

Cheerful, bustling cafe with delicious daily specials, tea, and dessert. My savory tart of mushrooms and curry was excellent, as was my banana dessert.
They have several rooms of tables extending back into the space alongside colorful murals and performance posters covering the walls. It is hard not to have fun in such a welcoming and curious place.

We came specifically for the famous homemade cakes, namely tarte au citron meringuée you can see in the picture/video. Note that if you do not eat lunch there, cakes (goûter) are only served after 3 PM so if the restaurant is full, they won’t let you in until then.
We came in advance at 2 PM and waited in a queue for about 40 minutes until the waiter let us enter out of pity as a small table became free.
The cakes are nice, though a bit overpriced (€9.50 per slice).
That said, considering how famous the place is (when we were leaving after 3 PM, there were at least 30 people waiting outside in the queue), the prices feel understandable and ultimately deserved.
The service was somewhat chaotic, likely due to how consistently crowded the place is, but overall we enjoyed the visit and even though I find it overrated, would recommend stopping by at least once for the experience.

Hands down the best lemon meringue pie. A perfect spot for brunch or just stopping in for coffee or tea and a sweet treat. Cozy, charming, and exactly the kind of place you want to linger a little longer in Paris.

Very nice staff and the carrot cake was very good (even though 9,5€ for a piece of cake is kind of crazy even for Paris)
We managed to enter directly without waiting in line when we arrived, but beware that sometimes there could be some waiting time

I think about the caramel crepe all the time…. We stayed in paris for a month and the workers definitely recognized me and my partner after going twice in a week and probably twice afterwards atleast…. We also tried the crepe suzette but I don’t think I’m a fan of orange rum but it was an impressive presentation. I would recommend for sure ;)

First time to Paris and knew we had to try Crepes! Suzette did not disappoint, we had the Galette Pastourelle, Apple and Caramel Crepe and the Chestnut Cream Crepe. All very well flavoured and would highly recommend. Beyond the excellent taste experience was the exceptional service provided by Victor. His willingness to educate and recommend was top notch and definitely add to our wonderful meal.

My favorite Japanese restaurant in Paris! They only bring red quality salmon and their prices are medium (almost the same with a normal sushi place in the city).
Almost everything in the menu is excellent, but I highly recommend the Shake and Shake Nagi. I also love the edamame, and in this place they really taste like the original Japanese ones. As a soft drink I recommend the green tea without sugar or if it’s in the winter the hot green tea (excellent!). For desert you need to the mochi (the one with green tea!)! Photos with all these attached.
Location is excellent, just next to Hôtel de Ville and close to Notre Dame, which makes it a very good place to stop for lunch or dinner, in between tourist activities.
Since the size of the restaurant is quite small (around 36-40 places) their interior design is simple and clean with many Japanese like ornaments.
I also attached photos of the menu (23.06.2019).
Overall, I highly recommend this place.

My girlfriend and I came back to Don Giovanni after being in Paris 4 years ago, with a vivid memory of this authentic Italian trattoria. This place has my heart! I haven’t tried the mains on the menu yet! I always go for pastas and they are irresistibly gorgeous! So delicious and Al dente just the way it should be! Nice, cute, tiny and cozy place. You must really be stupid if you have leftovers in your plate by the end of your meal😌

Oh, and make sure you don’t leave the restaurant without having any desserts (even if you have diabetes or not😉) Panna Cotta is your love at first sight and it should be illegal to leave without having tiramisu!
