Looking for vegan food in Paris we found Le Potaher du Marais and enjoyed our lunch. I ordered the Salade Auvergnate with smoked tofu, fried potatoes, raw vegetables, vegan cheese (think it tasted like a goat cheese) and walnuts. The dressing was light. The salad was very good, and very large. Great for lunch. My partner ordered the Bourguignon de Seitan with rice. He enjoyed the flavors, there was a plate full of the Seitan. Nice lunch with great food and service.

Fabulous vegan food - we ordered the Crepe and the special for the day (some kind of pie with broccoli), which was delicious. The side of potatoes was nicely done. Finally found a Vegan French Onion Soup - and so my trip to France is finally complete (very nice taste). Great to find a Vegan spot, was not disappointed.

In a word, Chapeau! We were hungry after walking around Paris all day, and this place was on our way back to the hotel. We weren’t feeling properly dressed as we were in gym shorts, torn jeans and trainers with no reservation, but we got seated and served with a smile. We had Soup of the day (curried celeriac soup), Onion soup, Seitan Bourguignon, Mushroom Crêpe, and Crème brûlée. Every single dish was absolutely delicious, but Celeriac Soup was particularly to die for. 100% recommend to both vegans and non vegans.

One of the few places you can get classic french dishes that are vegan. The food is good but not fantastic, save for the onion soup with grilled vegan cheese! It's a cozy relaxed place.

Absolutely delicious!!! I got the seitan that was like of like beef tips with gravy and veggies. My friend got the apricot cream brûlée which was great. The service was incredible, and only one woman was taking care of the entire restaurant.

Our visit to L'Ambroisie was the best meal during our 5-day visit to Paris. The space was quiet, clean, and decorated with chandeliers and geometric wall art in red and white which evoked 80's "art." The food was excellent in flavor, presentation, and creativity. The ala carte menu was a refreshing departure from fixed course menus at many fine dining restaurants in the city. We thoroughly enjoyed eat dish, and every bite was a surprise. I had the lamb in five preparations, and it was great. The bream came in a bowl full of caviar,.which was also excellent. The William pear dessert will haunt me for the rest of my days - the caramel sauce was true perfection. Service was also extraordinary, with the perfect balance of professional and friendly which made us comfortable for the meal. The waiter made a couple of jokes that elevated the dining experience by defusing what otherwise might have been awkward situations. The entire staff was attentive and performed as if choreographed. We will definitely visit L'Ambroisie during our next visit to Paris.

After having been to multiple fine dining restaurants in Paris, L'Ambroisie is probably the best so far. Despite not having the typical tasting menu, the à la carte experience is just as astounding. I decided to skip the Appetizers since none of them appealed to me so instead, I had 2 main courses and a dessert. For the first main, I got the Turbot and I would say it was good if not the best. I've had a spotless version back in London and this didn't quite live up to the mark. Still, the sauce and the ravioli accompanying it elevated the dish to another level. The 2nd main was the Lamb in 5 expressions, and this was probably the best meat dish I've had in a Michelin star setting. It was outstanding in almost every aspect. I'm not a fan of cold foods like the carpaccio, but I'll make an exception this time. The 4 other techniques were simply extraordinary!! Finally for the dessert I had the William Pear and again - Sublime! Both the lamb and the pear courses were pure works of art! The mignardises after the dessert were equally impressive. Truly magical! The only thing I noticed - all other tables had bread and butter served and I wasn't! I hope it's because they forgot. Was going to take off a star here but given the amazingness of the luncheon, I'll let it pass.

This was my second visit to this restaurant and I loved it even more! I’m glad we made the trip back to Paris and could get a reservation here. It’s actually one of my favorite 3 star Michelins out of the others in the city. Main reason is the consistency of the service, food, and ambiance. You can’t go wrong here, the food is just superb, the taste is exactly what you’re looking for when you ask for French fine dining. It also wasn’t too heavy because we chose the seafood options for lunch. The dessert is always so perfect The staff is lovely and so friendly. It’s one of those restaurants you just need to try once in your life. And if you’re going to splurge, do it the right way. This is it.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. We stayed in Saint Paul and came across this restaurant in September 2022. We skipped lunch to dine on the early side (around 7 pm). We loved everything about it. The ambiance is wonderful. Our food was delicious! Started with a glass of wine which had a smooth flavor and was recommended by our server. My aunt had fish for her main and I had the best herbed risotto I have ever had in my life. My husband is a Chef and I have not stopped raving about it to him since. We loved dessert as well (quinelle of homemade gelato). Everything is made in house. Plus, Staff was SO nice which really elevated our experience. I have recommended this restaurant to many friends who were visiting Paris. Can't wait to dine here again later this year.

The service was great recommend going early or having reservations, it's not a big place but great character . Clean bathrooms . Very good cuisine in a beautiful 17th century building. The place is both traditional and stylish with backlit bottle shelves. Tasty truffle pizetta, fresh pasta with squid and shells served piping hot and tasty too, generous basil risotto, very good tiramisu. Very wide choice of wines and very good advice for selecting one. Smiling and attentive service. In the end, good value for money and a very good time.

Been here for a solo dinner during summer. Tables outside are placed along a very quiet street with barely any car or people passing, so ideal for dining. Had the pleasure to enjoy a beautiful sunset sky along my dinner. The risotto was great and very interesting both in terms of flavor and presentation. But what really shook me was the dessert! Really recommend (as an Italian myself)

Not the best food in Paris by far, but you are there for a good time. Waiters seemed to like their job, which is a rare find in this city! You can make the vegetarian options vegan with some adjustments, although I was served cream cheese the first time my burger came out. It was quickly redone without. Fries were delicious

If you're like us - Americans living in France - and miss going out to a diner for breakfast, this is a good place to get your fix. The service is great and the menu offers a variety of savory and sweet breakfast options. A good mug of coffee with refills was a welcome surprise.

Great diner. If you just feel like an American breakfast and a slight break from croissants and pastries this is definitely the place to go. They seated my group of five no problem. Ordering breakfast was easy, even though we asked for quite a few items to be removed from dishes, they did this happily - no sweat. Food arrived quickly and was super yummy. Definitely recommend

My wife and I ate here it was very good. It’s definitely perfect for Americans on vacation it serves you something you miss. The burger and fries was delicious and we got the nachos and to finish it up a banana split. It all was so good the service was excellent and the atmosphere tried hard to look like an American diner in Paris. it’s perfect it’s really the little things in life. They have 3 locations and I’d for sure recommend this place to anyone looking for a piece of home.

Our hotel suggested this place as it is right around the corner. Owners just bought the place at the beginning of the year and are in the process of turning it around. Everything is so freaking good. After eating steak frites for the past week, this place had the best hands down.

Had a really great lunch on Sunday super tasty Steak frites and a Provence rosé. Very friendly owners and they speak English too. Interior is vey Parisien and the terrace is the perfect spot to watch the world go by.

We came specifically for the famous homemade cakes, namely tarte au citron meringuée you can see in the picture/video. Note that if you do not eat lunch there, cakes (goûter) are only served after 3 PM so if the restaurant is full, they won’t let you in until then. We came in advance at 2 PM and waited in a queue for about 40 minutes until the waiter let us enter out of pity as a small table became free. The cakes are nice, though a bit overpriced (€9.50 per slice). That said, considering how famous the place is (when we were leaving after 3 PM, there were at least 30 people waiting outside in the queue), the prices feel understandable and ultimately deserved. The service was somewhat chaotic, likely due to how consistently crowded the place is, but overall we enjoyed the visit and even though I find it overrated, would recommend stopping by at least once for the experience.

Cheerful, bustling cafe with delicious daily specials, tea, and dessert. My savory tart of mushrooms and curry was excellent, as was my banana dessert. They have several rooms of tables extending back into the space alongside colorful murals and performance posters covering the walls. It is hard not to have fun in such a welcoming and curious place.

Found this place when the place we were headed was closed for renovations. What a fortunate find! Matthew, our waiter, was VERY helpful in explaining the menus to us and the wide variety of delicious desserts. There was one item we ordered that didn’t agree with our American taste buds and he happily exchanged is for a delicious club sandwich that we loved. Friendly place, great service, delicious food! Highly recommend.

Very Americanized place….so take that as you may. The oysters were fresh and reasonably priced. However, I got the sea bass and it was overcooked and therefore very dry. So it was definitely not worth the €38. Also if you try to pay by credit card, they charge you a fee because it is not a European card, which doesn’t make sense because everywhere else in Paris there’s no extra fee for using a non European credit card.

I think about the caramel crepe all the time…. We stayed in paris for a month and the workers definitely recognized me and my partner after going twice in a week and probably twice afterwards atleast…. We also tried the crepe suzette but I don’t think I’m a fan of orange rum but it was an impressive presentation. I would recommend for sure ;)

First time to Paris and knew we had to try Crepes! Suzette did not disappoint, we had the Galette Pastourelle, Apple and Caramel Crepe and the Chestnut Cream Crepe. All very well flavoured and would highly recommend. Beyond the excellent taste experience was the exceptional service provided by Victor. His willingness to educate and recommend was top notch and definitely add to our wonderful meal.

The crêpes were absolutely delicious — both the savory and sweet ones were fantastic! The staffs were not only friendly and kind, but also stunning. They kept bringing us water without us even asking, even though we didn’t order anything extra. Great service and great food!

I tried the seafood don and it was very delicious. Many types of fish were served and all were very fresh. It was value for money because the portion was so BIG! You must try if you wanna experience great Japanese food in Paris. And the staff (or the boss) were very friendly.

My mum and I spent the past two evenings here and had the best time, even through the heat:) Amazing food and a special service. Laughing together, talking a lot and very attentive (received cold tap water all evening and fans were put up). Even though the restaurant was full at some point he took the time to take care of each individual. Can’t wait to come back someday and enjoy the food and lovely ambience. We went to this Italian restaurant yesterday. Overall, the experience was okay, but I expected a bit more. The pasta was average — not bad, but not very memorable. Maybe we just chose the wrong dishes, because judging by the reviews, many people really like this place. We also had carpaccio with lemon, and parmesan as an appetizer, and it was very good. But the best dish of the evening was definitely the tiramisu — it was the most delicious part of the dinner. The portion was big and the dessert was really excellent.

Absolutely fabulous❤️🤌🏻 This place has my heart! I haven’t tried the mains on the menu yet! I always go for pastas and they are irresistibly gorgeous! So delicious and Al dente just the way it should be! Nice, cute, tiny and cozy place. You must really be stupid if you have leftovers in your plate by the end of your meal😌 Staff is super friendly! Service 10/10 Ambience 10/10 (I personally love it) Food 11/10 Oh, and make sure you don’t leave the restaurant without having any desserts (even if you have diabetes or not😉) Panna Cotta is your love at first sight and it should be illegal to leave without having tiramisu! They are pretty generous with their portions. After all, its an Italian restaurant💁🏼‍♂️ Can’t wait for my next pasta day🥰🥰 This is my favourite Italian restaurant in Paris!
