A wonderful find. A restaurant that veganised french cuisine. We had French onion soup & mushroom pate to start. They were divine. Then we had spinach & walnut pesto lasagna & bourguignon seitan with potatoes. Dishes were presented beautifully & were filling. However we managed to squeeze in a couple of desserts too. Thankfully we had a good walk to return to our hotel. The manager/waiter who served us was very friendly, informative and fun to chat to. He was invested in plant based cuisine & ensuring his patrons enjoyed their experience at the restaurant. Would give 10 out of 5!

They offer perfect vegan versions of traditional French dishes and the portions are very big. The vegan french onion soup was one of the best things I tried in Paris. The Seitan Bourguignon was full of flavor and the chestnut crumble was a warm and comforting dessert. The atmosphere is calm and cozy.

As a vegetarian it was an absolute dream to go somewhere where i can experience the full French cuisine experience and eat anything on the menu.
The food was absolutely superb and so filling i couldn't take on a desert. What i loved is they offer a range of unique and tasty soft drinks too.
This is a must visit for any veggies/ vegans but even my meat eating partner loved it all. The staff here were so friendly too, and its a cosy eatery in a lovely part of town.

So delicious and special! We did not like the crème brûlée and the chocolate cake, unfortunately was too soggy and dense for our taste - needs improvement. But the rest of the savory food was amazing!

Had reservations (Sunday night), but we showed up an hour early. They were able to seat us, but they were very busy. We got water and menus quickly, but it was a few minutes for drinks. As busy as it was, and we were not even supposed to be there, that was fine.
For meals, I got the recommended seitan bourguignon. It was fantastic! My wife got the smoked tofu cassolette, which was good, but not in the same league as the seitan. We were too full for dessert.

Our visit to L'Ambroisie was the best meal during our 5-day visit to Paris. The space was quiet, clean, and decorated with chandeliers and geometric wall art in red and white which evoked 80's "art."
The food was excellent in flavor, presentation, and creativity. The ala carte menu was a refreshing departure from fixed course menus at many fine dining restaurants in the city. We thoroughly enjoyed eat dish, and every bite was a surprise. I had the lamb in five preparations, and it was great. The bream came in a bowl full of caviar,.which was also excellent. The William pear dessert will haunt me for the rest of my days - the caramel sauce was true perfection.
Service was also extraordinary, with the perfect balance of professional and friendly which made us comfortable for the meal. The waiter made a couple of jokes that elevated the dining experience by defusing what otherwise might have been awkward situations. The entire staff was attentive and performed as if choreographed.
We will definitely visit L'Ambroisie during our next visit to Paris.

3 Michelin ⭐ polarizing restaurant.
Chef Bernard Pacaud's food is beautiful in its simplicity, a distillation of French nouvelle cuisine to its purest form. No further editing is needed on his plate. The cost is high and the service is generally unwelcoming. The food is simple, pursuit of perfection. That simplicity can be a stark contrast to the high prices

We had such a great meal here! We have been coming to Paris for years, and this trip we decided to finally give this Paris institution a try. The food was everything we expected and more!
Every detail was executed to the highest level one would expect in a restaurant of this caliber and price range. My partner and I have had meals all over the world and this experience was no different. The food did not fall short in any regard.
From what we ordered everything was fantastic and we’re hard pressed to choose any standouts. However, of particular note is the Sea Bass and Langoustine. But, that’s not to say the other dishes were bad in anyway, these two dishes just left more of an impression on us.
While we did enjoy the veal, we felt that we could have given this a miss as we were quite full by the time this course got served.
While service was impeccable and the atmosphere is what one would expect of a three starred restaurant. We felt that at times the service was a bit pretentious. I kept comparing it to other more casual three starred experiences I’ve had in Spain etc, which were more friendly and less clinical. But, these are small nitpicks on a wonderful experience.
If you were to ask me if I’d come back again however, I’d probably lean more towards no considering the price one has to pay. This really is one of those restaurants you do have to experience once in your lifetime and that’s about it.

l'Ambroisie, located in the gorgeous Place des Vosges, is a special experience.
the decor, service and cuisine is transformative to a different time. for many, this is the epitome of French fine-dining.
the very best of here is still iconic: the feuilleté de truffe fraîche 'bel humeur', poularde de Bresse 'Demi-Deuil' and chocolate tarte for example.
Ali Kurshat Altinsoy - 2 months ago
The traditional French cuisine here is extremely impressive. The ingredients are fresh and it's a real treat for the taste buds. The French service is good. As long as you are polite, you can order à la carte and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

My wife and I ate here it was very good. It’s definitely perfect for Americans on vacation it serves you something you miss. The burger and fries was delicious and we got the nachos and to finish it up a banana split. It all was so good the service was excellent and the atmosphere tried hard to look like an American diner in Paris. it’s perfect it’s really the little things in life. They have 3 locations and I’d for sure recommend this place to anyone looking for a piece of home.

It is a great place for foreigns to go! It serves a Classic American breakfast and it is really good and price friendly! We did not get an amazing service, but it was good! The zone around the restaurant is incredible! So i would just recommend to get there are early as possible and then get a chance to walk around the neighborhood

Don’t miss this one!
Been here a couple of times and it has never disappointed. Loved every dish I tried.
I asked the server to get us a brownie and a candle in it since it was my friend’s birthday and she did, at the perfect time. Thank you for that.
Can’t wait to come again.

As a pescatarian, I have breakfast with eggs to get some of my protein for the day. BIA is close to my hotel and offered eggs. The banana french toast was also delicious and the server, Emma, was very courteous.

Can’t complain about the taste of the food but some other issues.
The banana French toast Advertised as coming with banana and a caramel sauce, unfortunately there was not a single banana on my dish and a teaspoon of sauce. We asked for more of the banana caramel sauce as it didn’t seem like there was much at all and they gave us little two slices of bananas cut in half with a tiny bit of sauce 😅 the taste was great but surely could have done a better job when it’s advertised as a banana French toast. I took pics of the dish when it first came out and then after I put the extra sauce on top.
The cheese fries were amazing, real cheese used and poured not just ontop but was mixed through out the fries.
Our waitress with the yellow and green jersey seemed really disinterested in being there. When asked we questions she just looked annoyed but somewhat warmed up towards the end of the meal. Made it awkward when needing any sort of service from her. Over heard her getting annoyed at the table next to us when she asked “what temperature” the lady wanted her burger and the lady wasn’t understanding as typically you say “how would you like your meat cooked”
When paying they have a QR scan code at the table and if you don’t pay attention it automatically gives a tip.
Unfortunately wouldn’t come back even though the food was ok.

Very good cuisine in a beautiful 17th century building. The place is both traditional and stylish with backlit bottle shelves. Tasty truffle pizetta, fresh pasta with squid and shells served piping hot and tasty too, generous basil risotto, very good tiramisu. Very wide choice of wines and very good advice for selecting one. Smiling and attentive service. In the end, good value for money and a very good time.

Been here for a solo dinner during summer. Tables outside are placed along a very quiet street with barely any car or people passing, so ideal for dining.
Had the pleasure to enjoy a beautiful sunset sky along my dinner. The risotto was great and very interesting both in terms of flavor and presentation. But what really shook me was the dessert! Really recommend (as an Italian myself)
valentina - 7 months ago
We stopped by here for a quick bite and were very pleasantly surprised. We asked if they could prep something in less than 20 minutes and the hostess smiled and told us it was no problem and that the fresh pasta was quick and could be ready fast. She was right.
The pasta was delicious, and the wine spectacular. Would come here again any time. The vibe is romantic, chic and inviting. We felt more like we were guests in a beautiful home than patrons at a business.
Perfect date spot or evening where you want to feel the magic of Le Marais. Recommend!

The restaurant is lovely, but the service was odd and the food portions small. We ordered a bottle of chardonnay and the waitress brought it at room temperature. She told us the restaurant serves white wine that way so it can breathe and develop aroma. I may not be a wine expert, but I've been drinking white wine for 40 years and know that is wildly false. The waitress then poured herself a glass out of our bottle and skulled it, saying it was practice for them to sample the wine before the guests. Again, a first for me. So as we sit there drinking lukewarm wine, the meals are served. I ordered the fish and it was the thinnest filet, no more than a few bites, absolutely smothered in topping to disguise how small the fish piece was. Overall very expensive night for a small meal and warm white wine.

Very, very disappointed in two Caesar salads we ordered. Lettuce was not romaine, there was no Parmesan cheese- nor any other. Just some dry old crispy chicken parts that were barely edible. We got the formule menu.
The goat cheese app and the crème brûlée were good but the salads were beyond disappointing ting.
We had visited the previous week and enjoyed or cheese board, which is why we returned.
We do not recommend

Lovely location for dinner with loved ones. The atmosphere was very cosy and rustic, the service was excellent and the house wine was 10/10. The food was really nice too, we had an entré of fried goat cheese which was amazing and then moules and entrecôte where the moules were slightly superior due to the bearneise sauce. A very nice evening and would defo recommend!

Cheerful, bustling cafe with delicious daily specials, tea, and dessert. My savory tart of mushrooms and curry was excellent, as was my banana dessert.
They have several rooms of tables extending back into the space alongside colorful murals and performance posters covering the walls. It is hard not to have fun in such a welcoming and curious place.

Delicious lemon meringue pie! I love the adequate sweetness and the pillowy softness from the meringue, lemon custard is sour, I like the sourness, perfect with the meringue. Aubergine and tomato savory tarte is homey, service is great even though my French is still terrible at this moment, the staffs are friendly

I noticed the restaurant passing by and I booked the “all you can eat oysters” (with a limit of 48 per person). We were very pleased by the service and the food. Very good and the staff was all very nice. Next time I’ll try the rest of the menu

We came for oysters and were not disappointed. We had all 4 different types as the other 2 were not in season. We also had 1/2 lobster which wasn’t the best but still ok. The Moka Baileys dessert is delicious.
We were served by Seam who spoke English, was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. There was another waitress who was there on her first day and it was good to see how Seam taught her the ropes kindly.
Nice atmosphere with happy singing along bartenders😂

Excellent dinner though prices were a bit on the high side. But the seafood platter was very fresh.
Ming T - 2 months ago
If you’re in Paris and craving a truly exceptional seafood experience, this restaurant should be at the top of your list. Nestled in a charming corner of the city, the ambiance here is both elegant and inviting, blending classic Parisian decor with a modern touch. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring that each guest is well taken care of without being intrusive. Especially a waitress Imane, she made my day!
The seafood offerings are nothing short of spectacular. Starting with an impeccably fresh oyster platter, each shell boasts a delicate, briny sweetness that transports you straight to the coast. The lobster and king crab are cooked to perfection, and the subtle seasoning enhances rather than masks the natural flavors. You must truly try shrimps with garlic!
Overall, this restaurant is more than just a meal; it’s an experience that combines Parisian charm with the finest seafood, making it a must-visit for any seafood lover in the city. Highly recommended!

A good friend of mine, who used to live in Paris, kindly recommended booking a table here for my birthday — and what a fantastic suggestion it was!
By day, the venue operates as a fish shop, but in the evening, it transforms into an elegant yet cosy restaurant. My partner and I started with an appetiser before sharing 'Le Seafood,' a generous platter of mixed cooked and raw fish. I highly recommend it — the oysters were exceptional! To accompany our meal, we chose my favourite white wine, Muscadet, and were impressed by their extensive selection of quality wines.
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, speaking excellent English. A special mention goes to 'The Lillies'—the two lovely waitresses, Lilly and Lilly — who took great care of us and kept us entertained all evening. To top it off, we were delighted when the chef came out to greet us and check if everything had been to our satisfaction. Despite it being the end of service and us being the last guests, they continued to make us feel welcome.
To be honest, I wouldn’t think twice about returning — next time I’m in Paris, I’ll definitely stop by this amazing restaurant again!

I think about the caramel crepe all the time…. We stayed in paris for a month and the workers definitely recognized me and my partner after going twice in a week and probably twice afterwards atleast…. We also tried the crepe suzette but I don’t think I’m a fan of orange rum but it was an impressive presentation. I would recommend for sure ;)

First time to Paris and knew we had to try Crepes! Suzette did not disappoint, we had the Galette Pastourelle, Apple and Caramel Crepe and the Chestnut Cream Crepe. All very well flavoured and would highly recommend. Beyond the excellent taste experience was the exceptional service provided by Victor. His willingness to educate and recommend was top notch and definitely add to our wonderful meal.

My favorite Japanese restaurant in Paris! They only bring red quality salmon and their prices are medium (almost the same with a normal sushi place in the city).
Almost everything in the menu is excellent, but I highly recommend the Shake and Shake Nagi. I also love the edamame, and in this place they really taste like the original Japanese ones. As a soft drink I recommend the green tea without sugar or if it’s in the winter the hot green tea (excellent!). For desert you need to the mochi (the one with green tea!)! Photos with all these attached.
Location is excellent, just next to Hôtel de Ville and close to Notre Dame, which makes it a very good place to stop for lunch or dinner, in between tourist activities.
Since the size of the restaurant is quite small (around 36-40 places) their interior design is simple and clean with many Japanese like ornaments.
I also attached photos of the menu (23.06.2019).
Overall, I highly recommend this place.

My girlfriend and I came back to Don Giovanni after being in Paris 4 years ago, with a vivid memory of this authentic Italian trattoria. This place has my heart! I haven’t tried the mains on the menu yet! I always go for pastas and they are irresistibly gorgeous! So delicious and Al dente just the way it should be! Nice, cute, tiny and cozy place. You must really be stupid if you have leftovers in your plate by the end of your meal😌
Staff is super friendly!
Service 10/10
Ambience 10/10 (I personally love it)
Food 11/10
Oh, and make sure you don’t leave the restaurant without having any desserts (even if you have diabetes or not😉) Panna Cotta is your love at first sight and it should be illegal to leave without having tiramisu!
They are pretty generous with their portions. After all, its an Italian restaurant💁🏼♂️
