I can't express how beautiful this restaurant is. Magnificent gold, white, mirrors, and funky chairs! We needed a break from seeing the exhibits at the museum, and heard this was a perfect stop. It was. I had the cod with a carrot salad, delicious! My partner had the deck, oh so yummy and a perfect cook on it. We shared a praline cream puff, holy moly, so so good. Really top level service in a room that made me feel like a queen! Perfect respite then we continuee exploring M'O!

Beautiful dining room with crystal chandeliers and beautiful ceiling paintings.
The joy stops there.
Service less than friendly.
Food. Not great. Ceasar salad standard. Cod was like eating from a cheap diner. Looked like fish sticks from a box. The salad that came with the cod was not great.
Do not recommend.

The restaurant is beautiful at a museum level. The food is not as great but conveniently located in the museum.

An exceptional dining experience at the Musée d'Orsay.
The Musée d'Orsay restaurant is undoubtedly a place of distinction. The setting ranks among the museum's most sophisticated spaces, with gilded walls, ceiling frescoes, elegant chandeliers, and expansive windows that transport you back in time, creating an atmosphere of the highest caliber.
While the tables maintain elegant simplicity, the colorful plastic designer chairs—though personally not to my taste—somehow contribute to the overall sense of refined class. The cuisine is of exceptional quality, with even the youngest diners finding satisfaction through their dedicated children's menu. The fried fish is particularly delicious.
The Caesar salad stands among the finest I've enjoyed in Paris, though I would personally prefer the chicken slightly roasted rather than steamed—nonetheless, it remains excellent. The service deserves special mention, and the ice cream is an absolute delicacy.
While not budget-friendly, the pricing feels justified given such an extraordinary setting. Highly recommended for a memorable Parisian dining experience that combines culinary excellence with unparalleled ambiance.

This restaurant has a wonderful, cozy small-shop vibe, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
Overall, the food quality is quite good. We ordered the snails, which actually tasted very good, as well as the Sausage "Chez Conquet," which was also very enjoyable.
However, I do have some feedback on the Veal Kidneys with Whole Grain Mustard Sauce. As an Asian, I am quite used to eating offal, but I feel the preparation of the kidneys here could be improved. Even though the dish was served with a very heavy mustard sauce, it still couldn't completely mask the strong gamey smell and taste of the kidney.
We finished off the meal with a classic Crème Brûlée. Just a heads-up on the cultural difference: the portion size for Crème Brûlée in Hong Kong is usually much smaller. The one here is definitely large enough to be shared by two people—though I have to admit, I happily finished the whole thing by myself! 😂
Overall, it's a lovely spot with excellent service, but I might suggest skipping the kidney dish if you are sensitive to those strong flavors.

In Saint Germain- de-Prés there is a small restaurant with wonderful food
Went fairly early and spontaneously. We were asked if we had reservations but seated quickly
Brief menu with entrees plats and dessert
Encouraged to select wine by the glass but bottles are available
Preparation was both traditional and imaginative
Terrine and croutons for entree. Generous portions. We shared the steak au poivre and gratin dauphinois. These were fabulous
The service was very casual but attentive. Patient and friendly explanations
Setting is informal, simple but romantic

We had a beautiful meal here. Staff were friendly and had a good sense of humor. All of our food was delicious, but the escargot was a standout. Definitely recommend making a reservation.

A chic French restaurant on a quiet street near the Musée d’Orsay. We had escargots, crème brûlée, and a glass of Chardonnay. The dessert was outstanding, and the escargots were enjoyable, but only four out of six shells actually contained snails, which was a bit disappointing. Prices are on the higher side, probably reflecting the location.

Easily one of the best dinners that we’ve had in years. Everything was perfect. The cucumbers were fresh and the mushroom dishes were to die for. Our friends recommended this place to us and we will be doing the same in the future. Make sure to get the beef and the chocolate mousse dishes.

Friends and I shared a delicious 3 course lunch in October. From the moment you enter and climb that beautiful stairway to the restaurant entrance, you know you are in for a treat! The food was delicious and beautifully plated, the service warm and attentive and the dining room is so inviting. I would definitely go back for another fine dining experience.

Easily the best Indian restaurant in Paris! The food is exceptional, with a wide variety of dishes to suit every palate. The ambience is warm and elegant, and the space is spotless, making dining here an absolute pleasure. Every visit feels like a treat thanks to the friendly staff and consistent quality. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine!

Nice Indian restaurant with good homely food (also not spicy for those that require it). Authentic Indian food and ambiance in a small cosy set. Very nice and attentive staff. Family ambiance. Good pickles.

My husband and I came across this restaurant while strolling the streets and decided to have lunch here. Thankfully we did. The staff were very accommodating and made us feel well taken care of.
The food was delicious and the portions were generous. I honestly enjoyed every dish we ordered. The naan was amazing and I think it had cheese inside. The chicken tandoori and the lamb dish were both so good, as well as the masala tea.
Even though I do not speak French, ordering was easy since the staff spoke English and the menu had English translations. I would definitely come back when I visit Paris again. Totally worth it and I left looking like I was pregnant because of how much I ate😁

Authentic and absolutely satisfying. The food was fresh, piping hot, and beautifully aromatic with perfectly balanced spices. Every bite was flavorful and comforting. Excellent service as well—this place truly hits the spot.

I really love classical Indian cuisine. I’ve been to around 15–20 Indian restaurants in Paris, and this is the only one I keep coming back to again and again.
A wonderful team of two gentlemen in the dining room — I’m always so grateful to them for their care and for the most delicious papadam in the city.

Got a reservation for lunch pretty easily. They have amazing service and the waiters and waitresses are pretty attentive. Not a fan of escargot but we got the prefixe menu and everything else on it was amazing! The skate fish was particularly buttery and flaky. Also pretty good portions for a 3 course meal.

We had such a lovely evening there, celebrating my mother-in-law’s birthday. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were well taken care of, including the staff graciously accommodating those in our party who didn’t speak French, and any specific dietary requests. The portions are a bit small, but the flavours and quality were unassailable. Several of us had the Wagyu beef, and I will say it was by far the best I have had. The côté d’agneau was also proclaimed “the best” one diner had ever had. Will it be pricey? Yes. But I will venture to say that as long as you can afford it, you won’t regret it.

Beautifully located in an alleyway. With reservation I was seated in the back next to a table with people wearing shorts. Service tried to sell me additional servings and wasn't attentive. Seafood platter felt completely unseasoned and came significantly short of my expectations. As if taken from the sea and directly plated.
[Visited in June 2024, restaurant had one Michelin star at that time]

Excellent experience the food is executed beautifully and menu is full of choices for every taste. The wine paring was very interesting and makes you discover unique wines. The atmosphere is a combination between very sophisticated in the dining room and very swanky vibe at the bar this makes Gaya very appealing for formal and less formal occasions.
One improvement point for me would be to have preset menu not just a la carte menu.

Our place to go for decates. Hard working staff which make sure you don't wait long for your order. French hospitality like how it should be. The duck is amazing!

The food and quality were very good.
We ordered 3 lunch specials, a fish soup and 4 beers, all was normal, all was good.
The waiter brought the bill and it was 180 Euro, we were badly over charged. The correct bill was 115 Euro.
It is the only time this happened in 9 days.
We would not return.
I would carefully check your bill.
The waiter said it was not his error but a new system.

I went to this restaurant on May 29th. The food was good, considering the price and the portion size. The location was great, and I was lucky enough to have this opportunity to enjoy my dinner right in the Teksi strike zone, surrounded by police squad. It was probably the safest time to enjoy a dinner in Paris😂😂😂

Gâteau aux Poires
A base of pear slices in a cake pastry with walnuts and fresh cream.
5€
Food: 2/5 Fair. This particular cake was a bit tasteless with nothing exciting. Its slight dry texture did not help the experience.
Service: 5/5 Excellent. Polite and professional.
Ambience: 5/5 Excellent. The view of Sainte-Clotilde from the terrace is absolutely stunning. The place feels like a hidden secret.
Cleanliness: 5/5 Excellent. Not a spot of concern. Even the outdoor tables looked freshly wiped.
Value: 5/5 Excellent. A cup of tea or coffee is only 2€50, and a gâteau at 5€ which means a light snack for only 7€50.
Overall: 4.4/5 Very Good. I think I may have struck unlucky with this one pastry selection. I'm definitely going to revisit and try the popular cinnamon rolls. Perhaps next time I can rate the food better and raise the overall to Excellent.

Nice place with friendly service but food is so so only.
Texture of the fish carpaccio was a bit soft. The beet and passion fruit sauces were also a bit of a strange pairing for me. The pickles were nice.
Some of the outer parts of the veal had been cooked until they were dry. A bit disappointing. Otherwise, the rest of it was soft and juicy. Taste wise not bad.
Caramel muffin with ice cream was a nice finisher.
Overall won’t be back and not worth my walk there.

The food was great and the it was very high in protein! We really enjoyed the fish and chicken. The only problem was that there were no vegetarian options. The wine was very good and we loved it! The staff were very nice and friendly!🙏🏻 Our waiter was Terry, he was very friendly and helped my daughter by cutting her bread when she needed help! The atmosphere was nice. It was in a great location and had very good seating options! This is a must go place in Paris if you like meat! You should definitely come here! 🙂

Superior service from the moment you walk through the door. They remembered my wife from her last visit in March instantly. Our food was exquisitely prepared, only to be matched by the wine pairings. A must visit when in Paris!

Based on other reviews, we expected the food to be of a higher standard. The Beetroot and Peach soup was OK, but nothing outstanding, the chicken in the Plat Poultry was likely pre-cooked and reheated, and the Abricot dessert was also disappointing. The Gravalax Salmon starter, Turbot with Carrot and Artichoke main, and Floating Island dessert were all was good.

Very creative and cool concept! The interior design is really fun. The food was pretty good, although it was difficult to get the service attention because of the crowd. We also noticed some mosquitoes lying around on the tables… But in general, it was a good experience. I also recommend to reserve a table online to avoid waiting for too long.

Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had!! Love how creative all of the dishes are and the prices are reasonable for the quality and the portion you’re getting. Pictures are my two personal favorites. I have no idea what they’re called but one was almost like a tostada and it’s probably one of my favorite things I’ve ever tasted. The only drawback was the service. I ordered a dessert al a cart from their QR code and after 30 minutes I asked the waiter if it was coming soon and they hadn’t even started on it. I left without getting the dessert because we’d already been there for so long but the food was so good that I would 100% go back.

While on a business trip in Paris, I suddenly had to join an urgent online meeting at 10am.
The first café I entered turned me away, saying laptops weren’t allowed. Only 10 minutes left.
Then I stumbled upon this place—and it turned out to be perfect.
A cozy atmosphere, reasonable prices, delicious coffee, and even the cutest little brownie!
But what truly made my day was the kindness of the staff working that morning.
She arranged a proper spot for me by moving tables together and even showed me where to charge my laptop.
Thanks to her, I made it through the meeting without a hitch. So grateful!

This is a very friendly neighborhood coffee shop run by locals who are very friendly and welcoming. I attended a language school next door and started my morning every day with delicious coffee and croissant, very fresh. Get there early, they always run out.. Their lunches are fantastic and the menus change everyday.. The only problem is that the seatings are always full.
