Birthday meal… we changed our booking time and the lady on the phone was so accommodating. We were served by Darius, who made us aware he was fairly new to the server side of the role - however we thought he was brilliant. Spoke fluent English which was a huge help. Advised us on which drinks to have too, and we both enjoyed. Our order was correct & he even remembered it was my birthday, literally at 12.01 am he said happy birthday and offered to take a picture of my partner and I whilst the Eiffel Tower sparkled.
Food wise - we had the duck and the steak. We also ordered a side of french fries and veg.. veg wasn’t my favourite, but the french fries were amazing! Soft but crispy too. The mash was to die for and both the meats were juicy and pink. The wine was great, and cocktails delicious. Darius also let us move tables for a better view later in the evening too.
It is expensive, but all of Paris is. €224 for 2 mains, 2 sides, 1 bottle of water, 2 cocktails, a glass of wine and a beer. No starters and no desserts. The view and ambience make it worth it.

We had an exceptional meal here whilst in Paris, celebrating birthday.
The setting was fantastic, sat directly opposite the Eiffel Tower and we were lucky to have a beautiful sunny day.
The service from the town - particularly Nader - was top class. Friendly, patient, attentive to detail and went the extra mile with a couple of special touches for the birthday celebration.
The food was excellent, inventive and delicate and different to other tastes we had found in Paris.
We will definitely return next time we are in Paris for a special occasion, and would love to see the setting in the evening.

Listen, forget all those clowns telling you how bad the food is or the cost was more than the taste. This place is excellent. The views of the tower and at night is unbeatable ANYWHERE IN PARIS!!! The beef is excellent along with roasted potatoes and carrots. Omg!!! Yum. It’s all about the view, the lady and good food. Trust me when I say that after all that the wife climbed the Eiffel Tower…..twice that night lol. Boom. Enjoy.

I wouldn’t give this place one star because you didn’t receive proper French fries, or that someone was rude. Could be you!
Regardless, I think 4 stars is good. The view is excellent, the food was good but will mention that in the menu it did saw black truffle risotto but it came out as elbow pasta noodles which was a bit weird. Maybe a different translation? Braised beef was excellent. Expensive meal but enjoyed the ambiance outside with the heaters when it was a little cool today.

Outstanding experience for my wife’s birthday. Nader and the staff delivered a beautiful evening that made my wife so happy!
The food was excellent, the views were outstanding (we reserved a couple months in advance and got a great table), and the attention to detail was sublime. We could not be happier and truly appreciate the world class service. It made for a truly memorable evening!

Had a great dinner here. After having a 7 course dinner yesterday we knew it was the wrong way to go and expressed it to our waiter. He suggested we go with the 4 course, the Saison for $175 per person. Started out with some cracker and mini bread. Both very tasty. Then it was off to the oyster, clam, snail dish. The oyster had some chopped celery on the bottom that made the oyster that much better. The snail was great. The clam was cleaned and chopped up and served in a half shell with juice. Very good. Then on the side there was raw fish on some thyme seasoning. Delicious! Then they served a piece of mini toast with shrimp integrated into it. Love the taste! Reminds me of dried shrimp. I didn’t take a picture of the bread they served with butter on the side. But the outside crunch was amazing and the aroma when it is in your mouth, fantastic! Next was Japanese rice in lobster soup. Could have been a little bit more flavorful, but good. It was sourced with some cucumber in a roll. Very flavorful. Next was lobster. It was a little under cooked. But if you eat it with the garnish, it is an amazing combination. Different flavors with each combination. Very good. It was served with a bowl of fresh coco beans in broth. They were good. The broth was heavenly. Next was a fish dish. The chef served this to us because of what we told him before about not being able to finish the 7 courses yesterday. So he made the decision to serve us something lighter, fish. The fish was very tasty especially with the sauce with a soy sauce base. They also served some picked vegetables on the side. The petal had a lot of orange peel taste. Time for the dessert, first the apricot was ok. The next one was fantastic! The pear on some kind of cookie. The combination was amazing! There is also a side of pear sorbet. So good! We were approaching our limit. Couldn’t finish. When we asked for the check they gave us another three desserts! Mini grapes! Super sweet! The red flesh peach, my first time seeing and tasting. It was bland after we had the grapes. The drink in the egg was really really good. Had jasmine flavor! Lastly a chocolate leaf. So good! What an experience. We go to meat the chef. He came out to talk with the customers to see how they are doing and how we like the food. I love it when the chef takes some time out to interact with their clients. Bravo. Highly recommend this restaurant. This was the best of all the 4 Michelin restaurants we went to in Paris.

What an incredible experience in this restaurant. The restaurant itself was beautiful, the staff were so welcoming and made everything that much better, Chef Barbot is amazing and his kitchen staff are very talented. We enjoyed every single second of this Michelin restaurant and he definitely deserves 2 if not 3 Michelin stars.

Our third time here, and first in the new location.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the food is excellent, despite dropping to one Michelin star after reopening.
We had the lunch menu, with wine pairings. The dishes were plentiful and great, and the wine went perfectly with them.
As a bonus, we got to meet Pascal Barbot in the kitchen.

Café du Trocadéro is a pleasant spot with a great view of the Eiffel Tower and a nice atmosphere. The service was good — polite and without long waits. As for the food, the experience was mixed. The French onion soup was truly delicious, the Caesar salad was just okay, and the escargot didn’t really appeal to me — though to be fair, I’m not a big fan of that kind of dish. My girlfriend, however, really enjoyed them. Overall, it’s a decent place to relax and take in the Parisian vibe, but I expected a bit more from the kitchen.

The true French experience in Paris. Food was delicious and Guylain provided excellent service to us. Atmosphere is totally Parisian and location is right across from Eiffel Tower. I would highly recommend this place for or drinks.

We liked this place. The traffic is noisy, it's a total tourist trap, you can see a bit of the Eiffel tower.. but it feels like real Paris somehow. You hear drivers yelling to each other, school kids singing on their way home, people rushing around. And you can just sit there and soak up some sunshine, enjoy a drink or two and watch the world rush by. It's pretty great.. quite expensive but worth it for a stop off. Our drinks were great and our server was lovely.

It was a big chance for us to find this place spontaneously. We asked a suggestion before we got off the taxi, Driver suggested us the area to have dinner. There were lots of restaurants with a nice Eiffel Tower view. We walked in this restaurant by chance! It was a holiday weekend so very very busy at that time. even though we had no booking, they invited us to inside. They showed us a good table with a partial Eiffel Tower view. The stuff was pretty helpful with the menu, we ordered Steak with fresh beans. The meat was perfect!! From the beginning to the end of the eve, they took care of us with a kind hospitality. The ambience was so aesthetic. Me and my husband highly recommend this restaurant!! Thanks.

Love the vibe of this cafe and the view was amazing. The hostess even let us move seats to have a view of the Eiffel Tower which I super appreciated being my 1st time in Paris. I had a delicious mocktail and pastry which was delicious. Looking forward to trying the food here on my next trip. Also bonus the bathroom was nice!

I recently visited Frog XVI and was quite disappointed with the dining experience. The food quality did not meet expectations. For instance, the Chicken wings with Barbeque saucelacked the rich flavor one would anticipate. The onion rings seemed to be soggy, Fish and chips was OK. Tried MOHO IPA and Apricot beer, which was OK.
While the ambiance of the place is lively and the location is convenient, the quality of the food and service left much to be desired.

Visited this establishment as was visiting the nearby Eiffel Tower, 5 min walk away.
This is a chain pub, akin to Spoons in the UK.
This was our second 🐸 pub of the visit, and it didn't disappoint. Large screen tvs dotted around the place and showing sports.
Staff very attentive and os the case in France they'll bring the drink to you.
Food wasn't too shabby, either. Great place defo worth a visit.

If you’re looking for a good and fresh beer, this is the right choice. The beer is made right here and as I mentioned, you have a high chance of having a fresh brewed one. Obviously there also is a variety of cocktails if someone prefers one instead of a beer (why would you do that? 😀)

We visited despite seeing some bad reviews.
Perfect atmosphere, great food and good service. At about 9pm the restaurant was really busy & chairs were super comfy.
All the staff were super friendly and helpful.
This is a low lit atmosphere with purple crystals which is different to all the other restaurants I’ve been to. (High end experience)
Super central location which is perfect if you want to eat dinner & then watch the effiel tower sparkle (2 minute walk)
Nothing to improve on, would definitely come back!!!

During our visit for a pleasant dinner, we found the experience to be just that - pleasant, but not exceptional. The venue was somewhat empty and stayed like that, the service fell within the average range, and the same could be said for the food quality. Despite ordering king prawns, they seemed more akin to regular shrimp in size. On a positive note, the potato puree was a good dish. The location proved convenient, situated close to the metro and offering a decent view of the Eiffel Tower, even if it was closed for the Olympics. I'm left curious about how this place transforms during busier evening hours and when the city is bustling with locals.

(Sunday evening of 1st December) For this kind of venue you would expect a high level of service, but the one we received from our waitress was very poor. Some examples: she immediately brought us the check to pay, served us wine unevenly, gave all the other tables who had also ordered drinks only a plate of bread accompanied with butter, which we never received, same things for blankets, etc.
For what concerns the ambiance, the interiors are very beautiful
Regarding food, we didn’t try it but we thought from looking at the menu and the plates that other guests ordered that it was overpriced and looked bland. We also saw a couple complain about their food, in particular about their fries.
I would say it’s best to come to Le Coq for a drink, given the strategic location, but without expecting too much. However it’s not a place I would return to

Excellent service- everyone here is so kind and happy (a bit surprised to see that here in France especially Paris). The staff is dressed very elegantly. I ordered the salmon tartare and my ordered a pizza. We also ordered two glasses of Chardonnay white wine. The portion size was actually decent (considering portion sizes are typically smaller here and this was ordered as an appetizer). I could barely finish all of my dish, it was very tasty. The marinade used had a great flavor profile and the wine was ice cold and crisp!
At first I thought this place was too fancy for how I was dressed, but I didn’t have any issues. The prices are very affordable too. I don’t normally give 5 star reviews but, this one is well-deserved. Though it did take quite a few minutes for the check to finally arrive, I can’t complain.

I visited Le Coq on Friday.
We came to the place before in order to make a reservation for lunch and they signed my name on a piece of paper.
When we came back for the reservation, my name wasn’t appointed by the guy whom I talked to. Anyway, there was still a table available outside.
The service is not very friendly, despite the location in Trocadèro, they don’t speak English at all (neither waitresses and the maitre).
The food was good and the price would be good value only if the service would have been at the same level.

It was a memorable dinner with sumptuous food. It was our first time trying everything here as tourists. The pizza was the best I've ever tasted. The ambiance was gorgeous. Warm vibes, friendly faces and seriously good food - this spot nails what a proper French bistrot is all about. The atmosphere is cozy and full of character, with walls covered in quirky yet charming French décor you could spend hours admiring. The owner is often around and brings a real soul to the place.
Entrée-wise the eggs with mayo are literal world-beaters, the sauce is light and vinegary. The menu is packed with classic French bistrot options, and honestly, there are no wrong choices.
For mains, I can’t recommend the veal chop enough. It comes with a chorizo sauce that’s so incredibly good it should be illegal. Get it cooked rosé (trust me), I’m convinced they flash it in a frying pan after the oven so it arrives with a crispy outer layer and a melt-in-your-mouth centre. Perfection.
And the fries… wowzers. Best I’ve had in Paris, hands down. They’ve got this natural sweetness to them, are cut just right and come out perfectly crispy. Generous portions too, so good thing they reheat like a dream in an air-fryer.
Their take on the coquillettes-jambon classic changed my mind on truffle, it's a creamy, subtly rich sauce.
If you’ve got room for dessert, try the tarte fine aux pommes - light, elegant, just the right palate cleanser. But if you’re still hungry (or simply curious), go for the giant éclair, sourced from the Béchu patisserie nearby and worth it for the novelty alone.
The wine list is solid and reliable, the “à la ficelle” options mean you can drink exactly as much as you like.
All in all, a place I truly love. Dangerously good food (even vegetarians will find options to enjoy) and great atmosphere. Fully recommend - sans hésiter.

I have visited this place multiple times and I love it! It satisfies every french cuisine craving and has its own charm.
Their menu changes sometimes especially for the starters but they have their delicious consistent dishes:
- coquillettes with ham & cheese, authentic and tasty 9/10
- steak with pepper sauce 8/10 (best sauce)
- snails 7/10
- smoked salmon 7/10
As a desert I love their big coffee eclair they get it from the bakery Bechu and it is delicious!
Overall I will continue visiting Paul chêne, as I enjoy a cozy bistrot with a bottle of wine wine and tasty food.

Listen, my 3 stars are actually 3.5 if decimals were allowed.
I had high hopes about this place close to work so went there with a colleague after seeing the stellar reviews.
The service and the atmosphere were superb, that I cannot deny. The waiters were super nice and friendly which is very refreshing. The setting was very cozy.
For the food I was slightly disappointed:
1. Paté: Had no flavour at all unfortunately
2. Bone marrow: This dish was the best for me, you can’t go wrong with a the good old marrow once you salt it and pepper it
3. Shrimps flambé au Pastis: Too much cream and no real flavour on top. Had potential which it did not achieve.
4. Fish of the day which was a cod with a Beurre blanc sauce: The dish was OK, the fish was cooked well but there were no seasonings to be found on the fish, the beurre blanc was average (it is one of my favourite sauces so I am picky about beurre blanc)
Would I come back for another lunch? Maybe. Would I be as excited as the first time I decided to go? Probably not.
Makram Chehayeb - 6 months ago
Perhaps my favorit in the 16th. The quality of the ingredients used are always top notch. The traditional French bistrot fare is cooked with a lot of attention and care. There are always some interesting options on the daily specials. The vibe is relaxed and unpretentious - staff is great.
The food is very good. If you are a true foodie, I don't think you will be blown away by complex flavours and great surprises. It is a busy and rowdy bistrot serving classic French dishes.
The restaurant is quite small, the tables are close and the place is always packed. I could probably grade it a 4 in terms of atmosphere because of that, but I personally don't mind.
Reservations are a must, 2 days before for weekday meal, 4-5 days ahead for a weekend table.

When we visited Paris, we ended up staying in this neighborhood. While we were wandering around, searching for a place to have dinner, we stumbled upon this restaurant that immediately grabbed our attention. Choosing to eat there turned out to be the greatest decision we made. The food was incredibly delicious, the service was top-notch, and we absolutely adored the cozy atmosphere they had created.

We had a pleasant experience overall. The dough was nicely prepared, and the dessert was also enjoyable.
We tried two pizzas — both were decent, though not particularly memorable.
The service was generally good, although one or two waitresses came across as slightly rude.
One fun surprise: the toilets are really cool and well-designed! It’s a fine spot for a casual meal, though not quite a standout.

We had a fantastic time at this spot for a quick snack. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, natural fruit shake, wine, and beer - and everything was great.
The design of the place is really cool – at first, it seems like a regular restaurant, but then you notice all the different seating areas, from four-person tables to cozy two-person spots, and large round tables. There are even long rows of seating under what looks open to the sky. It’s such a fun and unexpected layout!
The bathrooms are also incredibly unique – honestly, the coolest bathrooms I’ve seen in the world. It’s not a gimmick, just something that adds to the overall charm of the place. If you’re there, you absolutely have to check them out.
The service was efficient, polite, and not intrusive.
The pizza was excellent – we regretted not ordering another one. The shakes were a pleasant surprise, with a great mix of fruits that blended perfectly together. The beer was served perfectly – cold, fresh, and poured just right.
All in all, this is a wonderful spot for a quick bite or a casual hangout, and we’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommended!

The food was pretty good but we waited for about an hour for our food because our server just forgot to take our order for like 45 minutes- we didn’t even get water or our drinks in while other tables that had been seated after us were fully already getting their food served to them. Quite frustrating. The restaurant is very big and has a nice atmosphere/decorations and although the food was good it would’ve had to have been spectacular to really make it worth it after the long wait.

This was easily the best place we have dined at in Paris and can recommend it to anyone 10/10. Loved the steak and burger. Very good meat in burgers. Medium in French aparently means something between blue and rare, but the meat was super tasty still. I was missing some sauce in my burger though, mushrooms were playing their role too strongly and those duck breasts were just in the background. 4.5 stars from my POV.

But feels weird. Ordered pastrami spicy sandwich but was advised to take budger spicy instead which came out like basic burger with green pepper and lemon on it (weird)
Cesar salade was also made with not seasoned chicken, and no anchovies in the sauce

Service: Waited 40 mins to get our food. Waiter informed us that the machine that takes orders became faulty and our order was lost, so had to order again (We had asked where our food was 25 mins after we sat, and they didn't inform us about the fault). Ordered bbq sauce that was never delivered by the waiter (didn't bother asking about it as I had finished the sandwich).
Food: Pastrami arrived cold. Was very very dry and not that tasty.

Had a few drinks at Masha. Nice atmosphere and beautiful decor, situated near to the trocadero. Loved it and will be back soon to try the food!

The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is the good service. Other than that, I would not even give anything. I am extremely disappointed at this place, I've been to many restaurants around the world, from street food to 3-Michelin restaurants. And I have to say this, the place does not even deserve the Michelin star it has. The food is tasteless, it is missing something. It's missing that honest passion from a humble yet experienced chef. The food is completely normal and I do NOT recommend this if it's your first time to a Michelin restaurant, because you'll be disappointed.

We visited Masha on New Year's Eve. It is close to the famous trocadero and the place atmosphere is is amazing. We were also impressed with the food.
The staffs were very friendly especially Riad! He was very accommodating and was very attentive to us. He even volunteered to take couple of pictures for us. My partner and I are very impressed with the service.
We highly recommend this place.
