fantastic location, excellent and friendly staff, relaxing pool area for a swim in between sightseeing. room was clean, bed was comfortable and all together for Paris standards spacious and well equipped. negative: the room is quite dark (I didn't mind, I'd rather have a dark room than noisy street) and the walls are very thin. you can hear people walking down the hall, talking in other rooms etc. nonetheless I'd book again!

The hotel is across the street from the Louvre! Easy walk to a lot of places. I didn't rate the welcome because we arrived as part of a large group, which is always difficult for everyone. We liked our room, but several of the electric plugs did not work, and a repair person was not able to fix that. The staff was friendly and helpful, and our room was very clean. We enjoyed beautiful two-story windows that opened onto one of two squares inside the hotel property. Our king bed was comfy and the room had two bathrooms. One upstairs in the sitting room, and the other downstairs in the bedroom. The breakfast buffet was good, and included a cappuccino machine. If you ask for 'American coffee', they will bring it. The concierge was really helpful!

From the welcome to our departure the staff was helpful, friendly and professional. The family room was spacious and very comfortable for our family of four (with teen daughters). The maid service was excellent - supplies always refreshed. Any request ( for an iron etc.) was done in a timely fashion. The concierge was exceptional! We would stay here again and will recommend to family and friends when they visit Paris. Great location- close to major attractions and historic sites. Thank you for making our stay in Paris a memorable one.

Wonderful hotel and location. My 2 daughters and I were there this last summer and it was lovely. The staff were great. Always very nice and helpful. Our room was perfect. We had a junior sweet and it was 2 stories. A king upstairs and a queen pullout downstairs. A absolutely huge room, especially by European standars. The bed and the pillows were heavenly. I have a bad back and was really concerned but I slept great every night. We were there for 11 nights and never a problem. The location was a perfect walking distance to so many attractions and very close to public transportation. I would love to go back again today if I could but I certainly hope to stay again in the future!

An elegant and truly Parisian experience. The interior is beautiful and refined, with a classic atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re part of old Paris. I tried the tea and it was excellent, aromatic, high quality, and perfectly served. The pastries were beautifully presented, and everything felt sophisticated and well curated. Exceptional food, iced tea and hot chocolate. The Quiche was very good. Planned on only hitting the gift shop but the restaurant was so beautiful we ate there as well. Very glad we did. Service was very good once they acknowledged us and started with us. Was a longer wait than it should have been to get a server.

Café Angelina was one of the highlights of my trip to Paris—perhaps even my favorite café experience of all. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and feels almost magical. The elegant historic décor, stunning artwork, and classic Parisian charm make the place truly special. Of course, the famous hot chocolate and whipped cream were also delicious and lived up to the hype. There is usually a line to get in, but it moves fairly quickly. In my experience, the wait was around 30 to 40 minutes, which was completely worth it. If you enjoy cafés with authentic French character, timeless décor, and a classic atmosphere, do not miss this place. It is genuinely worth the wait and offers a memorable Parisian experience.

Come For the Hot Chocolate, Manage Your Expectations on Everything Else Angelina Paris carries a legendary reputation and on one count it fully delivers — the classic hot chocolate is extraordinary. Rich, thick, and indulgent in a way that feels completely unique. That alone is worth the visit and I’d come back for it without hesitation. Everything else however needs an honest conversation. The white hot chocolate was far too sweet — borderline cloying. If you have a serious sweet tooth it might work for you, but next to the classic it feels like a different category entirely. The line outside looks intimidating but moved faster than expected — cleared in roughly 15 minutes which was a pleasant surprise. The pastries were a genuine disappointment, especially by Parisian standards. I had noticeably better pastries from casual street-side bakeries while simply walking through the city. For a venue with this reputation and price point, that gap is hard to ignore. But the biggest letdown was the service. Over a five day stay in Paris every single café, bakery, and restaurant was warm and welcoming — Angelina was the sole exception. Our server was noticeably unwelcoming and dismissive when I was simply trying to understand the menu. That’s not a cultural generalization, it was specific to this visit and stood out sharply against every other experience in the city. Come for the hot chocolate, order the classic, skip the pastries, and brace for the service.

I went for a breakfast on Monday morning at 0830. There wasn't a long queue and I only needed to wait for around 10 to 15 minutes to be seated. I ordered a croissant with scrambled eggs and bacon (€16), a Mocha (€8.5), and a citron tart (€10.50). I loved the croissant as I could taste the butter and it was crsipy on the outside and soft on the inside. The bacon was cooked just right that it didn't feel oily nor dry. I personally liked the Mocha more since it included coffee and their signature chocolate in one drink, you could still taste the richness of their chocolate, which balanced very well with the bitterness of the coffee. I enjoyed the citron tart as well, it was not overly acidic. From the cross-section, you could the beautiful tart included a few ingredients then just simply a custard. The staff members were friendly to tourists who didn't know French. While the price range was a bit high, I think it reflects well with the quality of the food given. I would love to come again the next time I visit Paris.

This place was absolutely wonderful!! The food was high quality, delicious, and fresh as well as the restaurant being in a good location and a friendly staff. The bread here is also fabulous along with the menu. I highly recommend the floral lavender mint water for a refreshing drink, so so yummy. For food i got strawberries with mint, Tartine Poulet & Avocat, and Pain Nordique. All super good, recommend!

Hands down the best ramen broth I have ever had. The tonkotsu ramen broth was so rich! The spot also gives vibes of a genuine Noodle Shop from Japan. Not only is the food delicious but it is probably one of the cheapest options in the area. I paid around $68 for three ramen and 3 drinks.

Just left and had to leave a review. I don’t work in but know the restaurant industry and the (open) kitchen was spotless when I arrived. These pictures are halfway into lunch service and everything is still very clean. A clean kitchen is a mark of professionalism. The machines in use have warning labels in Japanese; which mean they were clearly imported from Japan which is an indicator of the authenticity of the place. In terms of atmosphere it was small and cramped.. just like in Japan. It just added to the experience. Most of the employees and the woman working the register were clearly Japanese. I had tonkotsu ramen, which is usually a disappointment in restaurants in Europe because they never get the broth right. Here the broth clearly tasted of pork hocks and was very gelatinous, with full body which indicates that it was in fact the real deal. It was delicious. They used arugula as one of the toppings which, to me, is a good sign. It’s not “traditional” and as such many restaurants in Europe that are trying to sell the “idea” of traditional ramen shy away from it, but it’s common as a contemporary topping in Japan itself. Ramen and a coke came just under 20 euro; but they have more affordable combos on the menu. Overall very happy, probably the best ramen I’ve had in Europe.

This restaurant is 5 stars all the way around. The food was absolutely amazing, we ordered the Spicy Tori Furai Don and the Tori Furai Curry and they were both 10/10. It’s a pretty good price, great portions, the service was quick and the waiter was nice. Nothing bad to say.

My friends and I stopped here for lunch. Cozy and authentic vibes. The food was served instantly and the servers were super friendly. Highly recommend the spicy chicken rice bowl, the vegetarian noodles and the ramen (to which I added a marinated egg). Will definitely come back here

Manon was an absolutely fabulous server- kind, patient with my questions and knowledgeable. I highly recommend visiting this quaint wine bar. I had the beef tartare which was delicious and a very large portion. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious. Hoastess is very pleasant and friendly and servers are attentive and kind. It's definitely a local favorite, because I was the only tourist in the whole place all night. Lively, but still cozy enough to have conversations. Food is also great, can't go wrong with any of the choices.

Starter and tartart are perfect and so nice but onion soup not much taste at all BUT so hot, love it ! Baked potato is cool too. Staffs are nice but can see they are short of people as only 2 people service while place Which not easy and also took a bit longer to get all. Table distance is really TOO close as it is like 3” distance so you can hear others clearly. It is very noisy over there. Price is ok and recommended but not in busy time a lot

Great bagel spot. Awesome choice of toppings, and great speciality selection bagels. You can also make a combo with either cookies or chips and a drink. Service was very friendly and extremely patient and helpful, seeing as how I am from Canada and know only a few words in French; the workers tried their best to help us figure out what all the sauces and spreads were comprised of. Prices are not cheap, but are not expensive either, so kind of in between, but absolutely worth it. Enjoy !!

Café Carrousel felt like one of those little Paris moments you wish you could bottle up forever ✨ Perfectly placed by the park with beautiful architecture all around, and the morning light there is unreal. Sat with a coffee, people watched, romanticized my life for a second ☕️🥐 I was hoping for soft boiled eggs, but unfortunately they didn’t have them , otherwise it would’ve been basically perfect. Also… I was able to buy one of their beautifully aesthetic plates, which honestly made me way too happy 😊 🤍

The boeuf bourguignon, a celebrated classic of French cuisine, was exquisite. The dish featured a generous portion of tender, slow-cooked beef, beautifully presented and rich in flavour. I was, however, slightly perplexed to receive bread in place of the potatoes stated on the menu, as it felt like a less refined alternative. That said, the overall quality of the dish certainly justified the price. The service was prompt and attentive, even amidst the restaurant’s intimate and somewhat compact interior. In truth, the close quarters only enhanced the charm and authenticity of the experience, contributing to a warm and lively atmosphere. Despite the minor inconsistency, I would gladly return for another visit.

Not far from the Louve. Cute coffee shop, Lunch and Dinner. We ordered the veg croquet, Vegetarian truffle Ravioli, it came with start breads the bugget but late at the same time as the main meal, a cuppachino and a hot chocolate. They are €€€, we paid €40 for just starters and a main meal for one person, but shared this, in total with drinks and no dessert bill came to €58. Overall I would say a Croquet and a drink is enough for a dessert meal and its big. The Ravioli added is too much for 1 person if you want to eat light. It was a good place to eat.

We fancied some of Paris's fancy hot chocolate but also wanted good service and value and Cafe Carrousel did not disappoint. The cafe was busy despite the dreary weather but sitting outside, undercover and with a complimentary blanket was fine. We were served by Lucas who was attentive, our order was taken quickly and arrived just as quickly. He spoke French (obviously) and very fluent English. He made our experience a great one. We had one got chocolate with the cream, a pepperoni pizza and a macchiato. The quality was great, the pizza was very nice and good value and the hot chocolate was lovely too.

It’s taken me two years to write this review, but it should not downplay the exceptional culinary experience we had. We walked in without a reservation, and though the maître d’ hesitated to seat us upon arrival, Chef Hugo stepped in and offered to seat us at a table next to his kitchen. I was overjoyed to be able to watch him perform his craft in such an intimate setting. He literally pulled out the cuts of meat from the fridge to show us what we would shortly be enjoying. The food was delicious, as expected. I highly recommend getting reservations in advance and requesting a table next to the chef’s kitchen. You will not be disappointed.

If you want to eat authentic French home cooking, this is a great choice. The chef's food was very delicious and the price was very reasonable. What was especially impressive was the manager's service. Even though we didn't make a reservation, we were surprised and happy that he continuously provided us with good seats and excellent service. If you are in Paris Champs Elysee area, you MUST make reservations and visit this restaurant. It’s well run by Chef Hugo Wolfer, the waiting staff is attentive, fast, and efficient. This place brings you back to old world charm, with old school vibes and SUPERB food which you can watch Chef skilfully make while you sit, soak in the atmosphere and enjoy the moment. This is the place where quality & value cross. Amazing place, you will not regret. We had lamb stew and beef steak, done to perfection. We will definitely come back.
