fantastic location, excellent and friendly staff, relaxing pool area for a swim in between sightseeing. room was clean, bed was comfortable and all together for Paris standards spacious and well equipped.
negative: the room is quite dark (I didn't mind, I'd rather have a dark room than noisy street) and the walls are very thin. you can hear people walking down the hall, talking in other rooms etc.
nonetheless I'd book again!

The hotel is across the street from the Louvre! Easy walk to a lot of places. I didn't rate the welcome because we arrived as part of a large group, which is always difficult for everyone. We liked our room, but several of the electric plugs did not work, and a repair person was not able to fix that. The staff was friendly and helpful, and our room was very clean. We enjoyed beautiful two-story windows that opened onto one of two squares inside the hotel property. Our king bed was comfy and the room had two bathrooms. One upstairs in the sitting room, and the other downstairs in the bedroom. The breakfast buffet was good, and included a cappuccino machine. If you ask for 'American coffee', they will bring it. The concierge was really helpful!

From the welcome to our departure the staff was helpful, friendly and professional. The family room was spacious and very comfortable for our family of four (with teen daughters). The maid service was excellent - supplies always refreshed. Any request ( for an iron etc.) was done in a timely fashion. The concierge was exceptional! We would stay here again and will recommend to family and friends when they visit Paris. Great location- close to major attractions and historic sites.
Thank you for making our stay in Paris a memorable one.

Wonderful hotel and location. My 2 daughters and I were there this last summer and it was lovely. The staff were great. Always very nice and helpful. Our room was perfect. We had a junior sweet and it was 2 stories. A king upstairs and a queen pullout downstairs. A absolutely huge room, especially by European standars. The bed and the pillows were heavenly. I have a bad back and was really concerned but I slept great every night. We were there for 11 nights and never a problem. The location was a perfect walking distance to so many attractions and very close to public transportation. I would love to go back again today if I could but I certainly hope to stay again in the future!

Very average hotel at a 5 Star price. Was recommended by an acquaintance because of its location. Rooms are very average. Staff is perfunctory but not overly cordial. Staff came into my room on two occasions without announcing themselves. Restaurant and Bar very below average. Although this hotel is priced the same as the Sofitel a few blocks away. Just know that to get good location at this price you will sacrifice many other amenities. I have stayed at other hotels in Paris for less price and better experience .

We had the most wonderful experience at Angelina Paris. From the moment we arrived, everything felt elegant, warm and truly special. The atmosphere is beautiful, classic Parisian charm with a luxurious yet welcoming feel.
Frederick and Amane were absolutely amazing. Their service was exceptional, attentive, professional and genuinely kind. They went above and beyond to make our day special, ensuring every detail was perfect and that we felt completely looked after throughout.
The food and drinks were outstanding, especially the famous hot chocolate and pastries simply unforgettable.
Thank you to the whole team, and especially Frederick and Amane, for creating such a memorable experience. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend to anyone visiting Paris.

Our visit to Angelina was a very sweet and tasty experience. The location is excellent, right near the amusement park and the museum, and we were lucky to get a table immediately without any line. The desserts were overall very high quality, although we personally found the signature Mont-Blanc with chestnut cream a bit less to our taste. We also tried their famous hot chocolate which was rich and very sweet. It is a beautiful and classic Parisian spot that we recommend for dessert lovers

We stopped in for afternoon tea. We waited for about 30 minutes outside in line. Not bad for how popular it is. We even managed to get a nice seat upstairs rather than in the crowded main area downstairs. I got the Cordon Bleu which was phenomenal. The crust was breading and some kind of seed mixture. She got the onion soup which was also really good. We finished with the Mon Blanc. She got regular which was less sweet. I got the caramel version which was great for a sweet tooth. The hot chocolate was great. But really thick. The waitress we had was really kind. Due to the number of people, we did have to wait a bit for everything. But overall it was great service. We really enjoyed our meal.

Absolutely deserves the hype.
The food is super delicious and beautifully presented.
In our opinion, the price-performance ratio is definitely justified.
The waiters are all very friendly and very efficient.

Oh my my what a dream! The hot chocolate was straight out of a fairytale. Delicious beyond description. It’s truly a peace of history. Absolute amazing pastry’s and our meal was delicious and satisfying.
It was very genius to wake up early and go to Angelina first thing in the morning! We skipped the huge lines outsides people were waiting for hours to be seated at this iconic eatery.
The restaurant staff was absolutely charming and welcoming. Over all a dreamy experience.

What a fabulous experience! We enjoyed our dinner from end to end, we enjoyed the myriad flavors of the food. The Chef does a really great job (Michel Rostang is no far), the staff is very kind and deserves a great thank as well. Probably the best restaurant of the place!

Great choice...we were looking for a French restaurant to dinner and we found this brasserie. With a good atmosphere...quite but not to death the food is very good and there’s a nice wine selection. We order the duck sandwich, the pasta with beef stew and the entrecôte...everything was delicious! I’ll be back!

Well, what a fantastic find and experience, I located this restaurant using the Michelin guide app and it certainly did not disappoint!
The appetiser of roasted artichoke on a bed of puréed cauliflower was sublime with the beautiful fragrance of Chevril and other herbs and my main course of poached cod was probably the best fish dish I have ever had across many Michelin starred restaurants! The balance of the flavours and texture and the richness of the broth with the wild rice combined with the saltiness of the cod and the freshness of the poached tomato grilled with Parmesan on top was such an amazing combination and the lightness of the foam sauce is just delicious. This should definitely soon be one star and worth not only a detour but a special journey! Also mate congratulations to the team for being so gracious with a solo diner, friendly attentive and on point. I’ll be back!

I was at Harry's Bar having a martini. The bartender overheard me talking about wanting to have a steak. He recommended L'Absinthe. What a great tip. The tenderloin lived up to its name. Best I've ever had. The salad was very nice also. An amazing dressing. My waiter recommended a type of vin rouge I'd never tried: delicieux. Then I had an absinthe as my digestif. Very tasty. You should dine here. I also appreciated the fact that they were quite forgiving about my lack of French language skills. It's got a much quieter vibe than many places along that strip of places. Something I appreciated. Go here, you won't regret it.

I want to highlight the excellent service we received thanks to the waitress Zakia. From the first moment she was attentive, friendly and very professional. He was always aware of our table without being invasive, answered all our questions with a smile and made us feel really welcome. His cordial treatment and efficiency made our experience even better.
You can tell that he enjoys his work and does it with dedication. Without a doubt, a first-class service. Thank you very much for your excellent attention!

Tucked away on a charming little street, Le Pain Quotidien is an absolute hidden treasure bursting with pazzazz! From the moment you arrive, the vibe is effortlessly chic—inviting, warm, and oh-so-Parisian. With cozy indoor tables and a sunny outdoor setup, sitting outside was a no-brainer. The fresh air, the quaint surroundings, and that perfect brunch buzz made it feel like a scene from a movie.
The service? Top-notch and super friendly—you’re treated like a regular even on your first visit. We dove into the brunch menu and let me tell you—it was fireworks on a plate. Each bite was vibrant, flavorful, and made with love.
But the showstopper? That croissant. Oh. My. Goodness. Flaky, golden, crunchy perfection—like a buttery symphony in your mouth. One bite and it was pure magic. Honestly, orgasmic doesn’t even begin to describe it. It was like biting into a little piece of heaven with a French accent.
If you’re looking for a brunch spot with soul, charm, and serious food magic, Le Pain Quotidien is the move. Whether you’re brunching with friends or just treating yourself, this spot brings the flavor, the flair, and the full-on pazzazz.

This restaurant is 5 stars all the way around. The food was absolutely amazing, we ordered the Spicy Tori Furai Don and the Tori Furai Curry and they were both 10/10. It’s a pretty good price, great portions, the service was quick and the waiter was nice. Nothing bad to say.

Starter and tartart are perfect and so nice but onion soup not much taste at all BUT so hot, love it !
Baked potato is cool too.
Staffs are nice but can see they are short of people as only 2 people service while place
Which not easy and also took a bit longer to get all.
Table distance is really TOO close as it is like 3” distance so you can hear others clearly. It is very noisy over there.
Price is ok and recommended but not in busy time a lot

Great bagel spot. Awesome choice of toppings, and great speciality selection bagels. You can also make a combo with either cookies or chips and a drink. Service was very friendly and extremely patient and helpful, seeing as how I am from Canada and know only a few words in French; the workers tried their best to help us figure out what all the sauces and spreads were comprised of. Prices are not cheap, but are not expensive either, so kind of in between, but absolutely worth it. Enjoy !!

The boeuf bourguignon, a celebrated classic of French cuisine, was exquisite. The dish featured a generous portion of tender, slow-cooked beef, beautifully presented and rich in flavour. I was, however, slightly perplexed to receive bread in place of the potatoes stated on the menu, as it felt like a less refined alternative. That said, the overall quality of the dish certainly justified the price.
The service was prompt and attentive, even amidst the restaurant’s intimate and somewhat compact interior. In truth, the close quarters only enhanced the charm and authenticity of the experience, contributing to a warm and lively atmosphere. Despite the minor inconsistency, I would gladly return for another visit.

Café Carrousel, located right by the Tuileries, is a lovely spot for a simple yet satisfying break. I had a cappuccino and chocolate-filled croissants, and both were genuinely enjoyable. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant — perfect for a quiet pause in the middle of the city. A nice place to stop by if you’re in the area.

Okay if you only want to order a drink, but I would not recommend it for food. They clearly rely on their location near tourist spots and seem relaxed about everything else. Prices are high for the city center, and the service was questionable. We ordered fries and about half of them landed on my lap, extremely greasy and oily. Despite that, we had to pay the full price and only received a quick sorry.
The interior feels old, not in a charming way. The fans were very dirty and did not make the place feel inviting to eat in.
Personally, I would not recommend this place.

We had their fois gras, cheese plate and a glass of wine along with their potato chips. All were very delicious and the atmosphere and people watching here is peak!
I’d definitely come back here again. Solid customer service, the server was very kind and friendly.

It’s taken me two years to write this review, but it should not downplay the exceptional culinary experience we had. We walked in without a reservation, and though the maître d’ hesitated to seat us upon arrival, Chef Hugo stepped in and offered to seat us at a table next to his kitchen.
I was overjoyed to be able to watch him perform his craft in such an intimate setting. He literally pulled out the cuts of meat from the fridge to show us what we would shortly be enjoying.
The food was delicious, as expected. I highly recommend getting reservations in advance and requesting a table next to the chef’s kitchen. You will not be disappointed.

If you want to eat authentic French home cooking, this is a great choice. The chef's food was very delicious and the price was very reasonable. What was especially impressive was the manager's service. Even though we didn't make a reservation, we were surprised and happy that he continuously provided us with good seats and excellent service. Thank you.

Tremendous food at a better price than many of the big name places in Paris. Tiny restaurant, so best to make reservations. A couple blocks from the Louvre. I had one of the specials, steak in a red onion and red wine reduction. My wife had the shrimp flambé appetizer. We shared the trio of sorbets for dessert. Friendly service.

Our favorite restaurant in Paris. Must visit anytime we are there. Had another amazing meal by chef Hugo. Get a chef's table and watch chef Hugo work his magic. Great food, great service, great experience. We brought our children on this trip and despite being picky eaters, they loved the food. My wife had chef Hugo version of beef stew. My son and I had the veal in mushroom cream sauce. Both were delicious. Highly recommend.

If you are in Paris Champs Elysee area, you MUST make reservations and visit this restaurant. It’s well run by Chef Hugo Wolfer, the waiting staff is attentive, fast, and efficient. This place brings you back to old world charm, with old school vibes and SUPERB food which you can watch Chef skilfully make while you sit, soak in the atmosphere and enjoy the moment. This is the place where quality & value cross. Amazing place, you will not regret.
We had lamb stew and beef steak, done to perfection. We will definitely come back.
