fantastic location, excellent and friendly staff, relaxing pool area for a swim in between sightseeing. room was clean, bed was comfortable and all together for Paris standards spacious and well equipped.
negative: the room is quite dark (I didn't mind, I'd rather have a dark room than noisy street) and the walls are very thin. you can hear people walking down the hall, talking in other rooms etc.
nonetheless I'd book again!

The hotel is across the street from the Louvre! Easy walk to a lot of places. I didn't rate the welcome because we arrived as part of a large group, which is always difficult for everyone. We liked our room, but several of the electric plugs did not work, and a repair person was not able to fix that. The staff was friendly and helpful, and our room was very clean. We enjoyed beautiful two-story windows that opened onto one of two squares inside the hotel property. Our king bed was comfy and the room had two bathrooms. One upstairs in the sitting room, and the other downstairs in the bedroom. The breakfast buffet was good, and included a cappuccino machine. If you ask for 'American coffee', they will bring it. The concierge was really helpful!

Nice hotel and very well located. The swimming pool is also very nice. The design of the rooms is a bit already old and they should make some renovations. Another thing to notice there was a weird smell in the kitchen area during our stay for all the 5 days.

From the welcome to our departure the staff was helpful, friendly and professional. The family room was spacious and very comfortable for our family of four (with teen daughters). The maid service was excellent - supplies always refreshed. Any request ( for an iron etc.) was done in a timely fashion. The concierge was exceptional! We would stay here again and will recommend to family and friends when they visit Paris. Great location- close to major attractions and historic sites.
Thank you for making our stay in Paris a memorable one.

Wonderful hotel and location. My 2 daughters and I were there this last summer and it was lovely. The staff were great. Always very nice and helpful. Our room was perfect. We had a junior sweet and it was 2 stories. A king upstairs and a queen pullout downstairs. A absolutely huge room, especially by European standars. The bed and the pillows were heavenly. I have a bad back and was really concerned but I slept great every night. We were there for 11 nights and never a problem. The location was a perfect walking distance to so many attractions and very close to public transportation. I would love to go back again today if I could but I certainly hope to stay again in the future!

I only visited the cafe.
Honestly I googled “best Paris hot chocolate” and went to the first place I found. Didn’t expect anything fancy or cool. Imagine my surprise for a huge queue. It was worth the wait. Hot chocolate was fantastic, the interior is such an adorable brunch spot and the crepes. THE CREPES. My family and I (4) ordered hot chocolate but we only got one cup of whipped cream. I think having one bowl of whipped cream per person would be better. Either way FANTASTIC experience. Will totally come again if I ever come again to Paris.

It was an enjoyable experience. The wait was a bit long and the place was crowded, but the room, service, and location were all 5/5. If you’ve never tried their hot chocolate, it’s a must! Some of the seasonal options are quite unique. It might be your dream dessert, though they weren’t quite for me. Presentation, however, was very well done.

I think the question is, is this place worth the hype, the wait, the taste.
The answer is yes, if you are a tourist, and it's your first time going here.
The wait isn't that long, maybe 15-20 minutes max. because the restaurant is quite large. The decoration is beautiful inside and the staffs are very nice.
To be honest, the chocolate was too sweet, but it does pair well with the croissant. The pastry was also good. I saw other table ordering some sandwiches or burgers, but I think they look quite normal for the price they are charging.
IMHO, I think the food itself is alright, it's what you expect for the price they are charging. But the deal is in the experience, of sitting there, in that room, bustling with people and servers. So yea, give it a try if you don't know what to do in Paris.

Everything we ate was really nice, the only thing that i didn’t like much was the vanilla and chocolate cake. The service was good, not so fast but i can’t complain, it was very crowded.
The line outside the store for sitting down is sliding, you can easily find a table in 5-10
minutes!

I’m sorry but this place isn’t worth the hype or the money. The service is amazing. The waiter was great. The queue was long; the hot chocolate super sweet, latte was just a pot of coffee, everything incredibly sweet, mocha not tasty and iced hot chocolate not nice either. We all felt very sick very quickly and tap water wasn’t offered.

What a fabulous experience! We enjoyed our dinner from end to end, we enjoyed the myriad flavors of the food. The Chef does a really great job (Michel Rostang is no far), the staff is very kind and deserves a great thank as well. Probably the best restaurant of the place!

Well, what a fantastic find and experience, I located this restaurant using the Michelin guide app and it certainly did not disappoint!
The appetiser of roasted artichoke on a bed of puréed cauliflower was sublime with the beautiful fragrance of Chevril and other herbs and my main course of poached cod was probably the best fish dish I have ever had across many Michelin starred restaurants! The balance of the flavours and texture and the richness of the broth with the wild rice combined with the saltiness of the cod and the freshness of the poached tomato grilled with Parmesan on top was such an amazing combination and the lightness of the foam sauce is just delicious. This should definitely soon be one star and worth not only a detour but a special journey! Also mate congratulations to the team for being so gracious with a solo diner, friendly attentive and on point. I’ll be back!

I was at Harry's Bar having a martini. The bartender overheard me talking about wanting to have a steak. He recommended L'Absinthe. What a great tip. The tenderloin lived up to its name. Best I've ever had. The salad was very nice also. An amazing dressing. My waiter recommended a type of vin rouge I'd never tried: delicieux. Then I had an absinthe as my digestif. Very tasty. You should dine here. I also appreciated the fact that they were quite forgiving about my lack of French language skills. It's got a much quieter vibe than many places along that strip of places. Something I appreciated. Go here, you won't regret it.

Great choice...we were looking for a French restaurant to dinner and we found this brasserie. With a good atmosphere...quite but not to death the food is very good and there’s a nice wine selection. We order the duck sandwich, the pasta with beef stew and the entrecôte...everything was delicious! I’ll be back!

Tucked away on a charming little street, Le Pain Quotidien is an absolute hidden treasure bursting with pazzazz! From the moment you arrive, the vibe is effortlessly chic—inviting, warm, and oh-so-Parisian. With cozy indoor tables and a sunny outdoor setup, sitting outside was a no-brainer. The fresh air, the quaint surroundings, and that perfect brunch buzz made it feel like a scene from a movie.
The service? Top-notch and super friendly—you’re treated like a regular even on your first visit. We dove into the brunch menu and let me tell you—it was fireworks on a plate. Each bite was vibrant, flavorful, and made with love.
But the showstopper? That croissant. Oh. My. Goodness. Flaky, golden, crunchy perfection—like a buttery symphony in your mouth. One bite and it was pure magic. Honestly, orgasmic doesn’t even begin to describe it. It was like biting into a little piece of heaven with a French accent.
If you’re looking for a brunch spot with soul, charm, and serious food magic, Le Pain Quotidien is the move. Whether you’re brunching with friends or just treating yourself, this spot brings the flavor, the flair, and the full-on pazzazz.

This place was absolutely wonderful!! The food was high quality, delicious, and fresh as well as the restaurant being in a good location and a friendly staff. The bread here is also fabulous along with the menu. I highly recommend the floral lavender mint water for a refreshing drink, so so yummy. For food i got strawberries with mint,
Tartine Poulet & Avocat, and Pain Nordique. All super good, recommend!

Wonderful breakfast and brunch eatery in an off the beaten path location very near the Opera and the Louvre. Fresh pastry choices, coffee and jam options amongst other light fare. Good for a consistent experience. Their cookbook had nice recipes and gave us a great idea for a gift to the bakers and cooks in the family.

I stopped by here for a quiet breakfast. Enjoyed the Pain Perdue (think French toast with berries and cream) and a caramel frappe with espresso.

Food was good, drinks was well balanced. The ambiance is great to hangout. The first server that served us was rude, other than that everything else was ok. To access this restaurant you have to go through the hotel’s entrance.

We got spicy fried chicken and japanese katsu rice. Both were so goodd. The portion and the taste is fire + it’s good for 14 euros in Paris prices. Location is very near Louvre and Tuileries. Service is good, thanks for the matcha :) def will come back.

We really enjoyed eating at Sapporo Restaurant on Rue Saint-Honore. The restaurant is much bigger than it appears, with two floors, bar seating and outdoor seating. The food was very good, fresh and hot. The service was also very good, friendly and prompt.

It's been at least 8 years since my last visit, and I was so pleased to find the same flavors and service that made me love this place.
This cozy Japanese restaurant is ideally located just a short walk from the Louvre and the Tuileries Garden, making it a convenient and rewarding stop if you're exploring the area.
I had the ramen with grilled pork and vegetables, along with a half curry rice — both were delicious.
Given the quality of the food and the prime location, the prices are truly remarkable. It's rare to find such authenticity and value in the heart of Paris.
I’m so happy to see that after all these years, this little gem continues to deliver such a satisfying experience. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in Paris again.

Manon was an absolutely fabulous server- kind, patient with my questions and knowledgeable. I highly recommend visiting this quaint wine bar. I had the beef tartare which was delicious and a very large portion. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious. Hoastess is very pleasant and friendly and servers are attentive and kind. It's definitely a local favorite, because I was the only tourist in the whole place all night. Lively, but still cozy enough to have conversations. Food is also great, can't go wrong with any of the choices.

Starter and tartart are perfect and so nice but onion soup not much taste at all BUT so hot, love it !
Baked potato is cool too.
Staffs are nice but can see they are short of people as only 2 people service while place
Which not easy and also took a bit longer to get all.
Table distance is really TOO close as it is like 3” distance so you can hear others clearly. It is very noisy over there.
Price is ok and recommended but not in busy time a lot

Great bagel spot. Awesome choice of toppings, and great speciality selection bagels. You can also make a combo with either cookies or chips and a drink. Service was very friendly and extremely patient and helpful, seeing as how I am from Canada and know only a few words in French; the workers tried their best to help us figure out what all the sauces and spreads were comprised of. Prices are not cheap, but are not expensive either, so kind of in between, but absolutely worth it. Enjoy !!

I absolutely LOVED this restaurant!! We visited on our last day in Paris after a month of tromping around France and it didn't disappoint. The staff was so welcoming. I ordered the duck special and it was hands down the best duck I had while in France. The dessert was amazing as well. I would come back here for sure.
