fantastic location, excellent and friendly staff, relaxing pool area for a swim in between sightseeing. room was clean, bed was comfortable and all together for Paris standards spacious and well equipped.
negative: the room is quite dark (I didn't mind, I'd rather have a dark room than noisy street) and the walls are very thin. you can hear people walking down the hall, talking in other rooms etc.
nonetheless I'd book again!

The hotel is across the street from the Louvre! Easy walk to a lot of places. I didn't rate the welcome because we arrived as part of a large group, which is always difficult for everyone. We liked our room, but several of the electric plugs did not work, and a repair person was not able to fix that. The staff was friendly and helpful, and our room was very clean. We enjoyed beautiful two-story windows that opened onto one of two squares inside the hotel property. Our king bed was comfy and the room had two bathrooms. One upstairs in the sitting room, and the other downstairs in the bedroom. The breakfast buffet was good, and included a cappuccino machine. If you ask for 'American coffee', they will bring it. The concierge was really helpful!

From the welcome to our departure the staff was helpful, friendly and professional. The family room was spacious and very comfortable for our family of four (with teen daughters). The maid service was excellent - supplies always refreshed. Any request ( for an iron etc.) was done in a timely fashion. The concierge was exceptional! We would stay here again and will recommend to family and friends when they visit Paris. Great location- close to major attractions and historic sites.
Thank you for making our stay in Paris a memorable one.

Wonderful hotel and location. My 2 daughters and I were there this last summer and it was lovely. The staff were great. Always very nice and helpful. Our room was perfect. We had a junior sweet and it was 2 stories. A king upstairs and a queen pullout downstairs. A absolutely huge room, especially by European standars. The bed and the pillows were heavenly. I have a bad back and was really concerned but I slept great every night. We were there for 11 nights and never a problem. The location was a perfect walking distance to so many attractions and very close to public transportation. I would love to go back again today if I could but I certainly hope to stay again in the future!

Very average hotel at a 5 Star price. Was recommended by an acquaintance because of its location. Rooms are very average. Staff is perfunctory but not overly cordial. Staff came into my room on two occasions without announcing themselves. Restaurant and Bar very below average. Although this hotel is priced the same as the Sofitel a few blocks away. Just know that to get good location at this price you will sacrifice many other amenities. I have stayed at other hotels in Paris for less price and better experience .

Came for the hot chocolate, which while creamy and tasty, was not hot slightly. Food was good but a bit pricey. There was a line even during off times (Monday at 3pm). Pastries were also more expensive than in normal patisseries, so those might be a better option.

What an absolutely dreamy experience at Angelina! 💫 The prices are on the higher side, but trust me — the hot chocolate is 100% worth it. It's like a rich, velvety hug in a cup. And the atmosphere? Simply stunning! I felt like Marie Antoinette in the 18th century, surrounded by elegance and charm.
The staff was absolutely wonderful — so friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. We were lucky to arrive early, so there was no waiting at all, which made everything even better. My grandma also bought the box to make hot chocolate at home, and she’s completely hooked!
It’s a perfect spot for special occasions — can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious, indulgent treat. 🍫✨

I visited Angelina and honestly found it disappointing. It wasn’t worth the ten-minute wait to be seated, and the interior itself wasn’t particularly attractive once inside.
One positive is that the location is excellent — it’s close to busy areas in Paris and very easy to get to. The service was good, which I appreciated.
A downside for me was that they didn’t offer any alternative milks — only cow’s milk — which meant I couldn’t try the oat chai latte I’d gone specifically for.
I ordered the Tarte Coco Passion, which was just okay, and the Golden Detox drink. The total came to €19.50, which felt steep for what I received.
I’ve had far better experiences elsewhere, so I wouldn’t return. To avoid the queue just go in and get a take away cake and a hot chocolate! If you want to try!
Chloe Brentnall - 2 weeks ago
We were just casually walking by and noticed a huge queue. We had no idea about this place, it was our first trip to Paris from London . There was a small takeaway station and we had to try! We had the hot chocolate and macaroon. It was out of the world. Have never tasted hot chocolate like this in my life!

If you’re in Paris, you must try this Legendary and Delicious Chocolate Emporium.
There are many choices to choose from. I tried their hot chocolate. It was delicious but was too sweet for me to finish the large mug.
The chocolate eclairs and the Mille feuille were crunchy and fresh.
But my favorite was the Monte Blanc. See the photo.
The Mont-Blanc from Angelina's in Paris is a signature Parisian dessert made of a meringue base, a light whipped cream filling, and topped with a mound of sweetened chestnut purée "vermicelli". Created at the beginning of the 20th century, its name comes from its resemblance to the snow-capped peak of Mont Blanc in the Alps.
It was soooo Delicious. I had it every day during my trip.
You must Not miss this special place in Paris. Prepare to wait for a table.
Most of the times we took our order to go and ate them either in Jardin des Tuileries or in Jardins du Trocadéro over looking at the Eiffel Tower.
I can’t wait to return soon.

What a fabulous experience! We enjoyed our dinner from end to end, we enjoyed the myriad flavors of the food. The Chef does a really great job (Michel Rostang is no far), the staff is very kind and deserves a great thank as well. Probably the best restaurant of the place!

Well, what a fantastic find and experience, I located this restaurant using the Michelin guide app and it certainly did not disappoint!
The appetiser of roasted artichoke on a bed of puréed cauliflower was sublime with the beautiful fragrance of Chevril and other herbs and my main course of poached cod was probably the best fish dish I have ever had across many Michelin starred restaurants! The balance of the flavours and texture and the richness of the broth with the wild rice combined with the saltiness of the cod and the freshness of the poached tomato grilled with Parmesan on top was such an amazing combination and the lightness of the foam sauce is just delicious. This should definitely soon be one star and worth not only a detour but a special journey! Also mate congratulations to the team for being so gracious with a solo diner, friendly attentive and on point. I’ll be back!

Great choice...we were looking for a French restaurant to dinner and we found this brasserie. With a good atmosphere...quite but not to death the food is very good and there’s a nice wine selection. We order the duck sandwich, the pasta with beef stew and the entrecôte...everything was delicious! I’ll be back!

I was at Harry's Bar having a martini. The bartender overheard me talking about wanting to have a steak. He recommended L'Absinthe. What a great tip. The tenderloin lived up to its name. Best I've ever had. The salad was very nice also. An amazing dressing. My waiter recommended a type of vin rouge I'd never tried: delicieux. Then I had an absinthe as my digestif. Very tasty. You should dine here. I also appreciated the fact that they were quite forgiving about my lack of French language skills. It's got a much quieter vibe than many places along that strip of places. Something I appreciated. Go here, you won't regret it.

Tucked away on a charming little street, Le Pain Quotidien is an absolute hidden treasure bursting with pazzazz! From the moment you arrive, the vibe is effortlessly chic—inviting, warm, and oh-so-Parisian. With cozy indoor tables and a sunny outdoor setup, sitting outside was a no-brainer. The fresh air, the quaint surroundings, and that perfect brunch buzz made it feel like a scene from a movie.
The service? Top-notch and super friendly—you’re treated like a regular even on your first visit. We dove into the brunch menu and let me tell you—it was fireworks on a plate. Each bite was vibrant, flavorful, and made with love.
But the showstopper? That croissant. Oh. My. Goodness. Flaky, golden, crunchy perfection—like a buttery symphony in your mouth. One bite and it was pure magic. Honestly, orgasmic doesn’t even begin to describe it. It was like biting into a little piece of heaven with a French accent.
If you’re looking for a brunch spot with soul, charm, and serious food magic, Le Pain Quotidien is the move. Whether you’re brunching with friends or just treating yourself, this spot brings the flavor, the flair, and the full-on pazzazz.

This restaurant is 5 stars all the way around. The food was absolutely amazing, we ordered the Spicy Tori Furai Don and the Tori Furai Curry and they were both 10/10. It’s a pretty good price, great portions, the service was quick and the waiter was nice. Nothing bad to say.

We got spicy fried chicken and japanese katsu rice. Both were so goodd. The portion and the taste is fire + it’s good for 14 euros in Paris prices. Location is very near Louvre and Tuileries. Service is good, thanks for the matcha :) def will come back.

We really enjoyed eating at Sapporo Restaurant on Rue Saint-Honore. The restaurant is much bigger than it appears, with two floors, bar seating and outdoor seating. The food was very good, fresh and hot. The service was also very good, friendly and prompt.

It's been at least 8 years since my last visit, and I was so pleased to find the same flavors and service that made me love this place.
This cozy Japanese restaurant is ideally located just a short walk from the Louvre and the Tuileries Garden, making it a convenient and rewarding stop if you're exploring the area.
I had the ramen with grilled pork and vegetables, along with a half curry rice — both were delicious.
Given the quality of the food and the prime location, the prices are truly remarkable. It's rare to find such authenticity and value in the heart of Paris.
I’m so happy to see that after all these years, this little gem continues to deliver such a satisfying experience. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in Paris again.

Absolutely delicious. Hoastess is very pleasant and friendly and servers are attentive and kind. It's definitely a local favorite, because I was the only tourist in the whole place all night. Lively, but still cozy enough to have conversations. Food is also great, can't go wrong with any of the choices.

Honestly, it was just a random place I stopped by, but it wasn’t just an ordinary bagel sandwich — the flavor balance was insane, the ingredients were unbelievably fresh, the service was quick and friendly, and the shop was clean and super cute!

Great bagel spot. Awesome choice of toppings, and great speciality selection bagels. You can also make a combo with either cookies or chips and a drink. Service was very friendly and extremely patient and helpful, seeing as how I am from Canada and know only a few words in French; the workers tried their best to help us figure out what all the sauces and spreads were comprised of. Prices are not cheap, but are not expensive either, so kind of in between, but absolutely worth it. Enjoy !!

We ate here twice during our stay as our hotel was literally very close by and both times were excellent. We sat outside on the pavilion and were served by a wonderful middle-aged waitress who was so nice and helpful. The food was excellent, prepared quick and very well presented. Fantastic all round both times.

The friendliest most wonderful service in Paris. I was stuck to run an early morning meeting online and the team here allowed me to use the cafe before opening to run my. Gracious & generous of them. They bought me coffee and water without even asking as they could see that I was busy with my online meeting. Amazing service, amazing location - highly highly recommended.

Café Carrousel, located right by the Tuileries, is a lovely spot for a simple yet satisfying break. I had a cappuccino and chocolate-filled croissants, and both were genuinely enjoyable. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant — perfect for a quiet pause in the middle of the city. A nice place to stop by if you’re in the area.

I was on a tour and had limited time but it was worth the stop over.
We had their fois gras, cheese plate and a glass of wine along with their potato chips. All were very delicious and the atmosphere and people watching here is peak!
I’d definitely come back here again. Solid customer service, the server was very kind and friendly.

If you are in Paris Champs Elysee area, you MUST make reservations and visit this restaurant. It’s well run by Chef Hugo Wolfer, the waiting staff is attentive, fast, and efficient. This place brings you back to old world charm, with old school vibes and SUPERB food which you can watch Chef skilfully make while you sit, soak in the atmosphere and enjoy the moment. This is the place where quality & value cross. Amazing place, you will not regret.
We had lamb stew and beef steak, done to perfection. We will definitely come back.

Homey traditional restaurant staffed by just two people (the chef and a server), yet they keep things running smoothly.
I went with the daily special starter and main. The shrimp salad was fresh tasting and good but nothing to write home about. Duck was perfectly cooked and delicious - just a little hint of sweetness.

If you want to eat authentic French home cooking, this is a great choice. The chef's food was very delicious and the price was very reasonable. What was especially impressive was the manager's service. Even though we didn't make a reservation, we were surprised and happy that he continuously provided us with good seats and excellent service. Thank you.
