Went in in a carnival afternoon, pretty standard service like I got in other places in Rio. Was slow until the dish was ready, the pumpkin soup was okay, but the mushroom risotto was the worst I've ever eaten in my life. It was extremely salty. Had maybe 1/6 and left

This place is very pricey, though the interior and exterior as well as the location were exactly to my liking. The WiFi was also great. 1 piece of quiche and a normal Americano coffee came to 39R (Almost $9.00).

Food looks a lot better in person than in photos – I wasn't sure if I wanted to go after just looking here, but it was definitely worth it! The portions are absolutely huge. The prices were a bit above average but then again, you're getting significantly bigger than average portion as well, so I think it's worth it. The atmosphere is okay, nothing that special, but nice anyway. The food tasted lovely, but the service was pretty slow – we had to wait quite a bit for the waiter to even notice us, and then a while more for the food to come. Overall I think a pretty good deal just for the portion sizes alone, would go again.

Service is a little slow but the food is tasty and the Caipirinhas are strong! Sitting outside is very nice in September. Frango a la Bernardo is fantastic!

The staff was very attentive. We ate inside instead of the patio. The portions were large. We brought the leftovers home to eat later. I have eaten in Lapa and other places, and found the staff here to be far more professional. Great place!

This place was lovely why the low rating? Better for drinks maybe because the eggs and bacon we ordered was lackluster. But lovely space with great staff from the host to the servers. Also a nice view of redeemer

I stopped by at Bistro da Casa restaurant for a lunch on Sunday afternoon after visiting the famously street market of feira da Gloria. It was very nice experience, beautiful ambiance and great vibe. The place is just few minutes walk from the street market and it is located on the side of the ancient church. It has fabulous views, delicious food and drinks! Highly recommended!

I simply loved the place from the first step at the entrance, to the moment I paid the bill. They have a beautiful waiting place outdoors, where you can calmly have a chat or simply observe the nature before getting a table. I could only see the breakfast/brunch menu and good things was they have a vegan option of it. The food was good, I did not love the vegetarian pancakes, but all the rest was really good. The ambient is beautiful, service is kind and quick. Really recommend it.

What a beautiful place! So relaxing... The service was amazing! Very friendly and helpful, they definitely made our time more enjoyable. Food was great and the whole atmosphere was just perfect. We had a beautiful view at the Chris Redeemer during the sunset, it just added to it and made the dinner more magical.

The owner’s passion after all these years is truly inspiring! The service was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the portions were generous – excellent value for money. This bar fulfills every need of queer individuals. The beer is cheap and cold ice. The drag shows happening every uneven Friday are not to be missed. Don’t mind the general decoration, it’s all about vintage and camp culture!

Perfet place for people watching with a Brahma beer :) The staff are very welcoming and although they dont speak english and i dont speak portuguese they always make you feel right at home. A hidden gem - make it your local. Thank you Butecao people :)

Very good chrurrasco (mixed grilled meats) with chicken, beef, salsicha (sausage), pork chop, rice, feijão. Very good quality and easily enough for 2 people, so works out cheap. I would certainly eat here again.

We were there on 15th December. (Staff stole some of our food :) Place is very nice itself. Service was ok considering the lady was pregnant , the place very busy and also the food was great. We ordered a pizza which the cook iteself came to cut for us (5+ stars for that and for the taste) - the down-side ? - when we asked for the food to take away the staff at the counter took/stole two slices of the pizza and put aside for themselfes which is not that bad in priciple but it gives you the sensation of being stolen and taken for a fool. Too bad. Would have given 5 stars otherwise and would have come again there if this did no hapen :(
