Went in in a carnival afternoon, pretty standard service like I got in other places in Rio. Was slow until the dish was ready, the pumpkin soup was okay, but the mushroom risotto was the worst I've ever eaten in my life. It was extremely salty. Had maybe 1/6 and left

This place is very pricey, though the interior and exterior as well as the location were exactly to my liking. The WiFi was also great. 1 piece of quiche and a normal Americano coffee came to 39R (Almost $9.00).

One of the best spaghetti bolognese that I’ve ever tried, so simple but so tasty, it brings me memories of good home made pasta

The mushroom quiche was okay, but not great. Melon juice was not bad.

Food looks a lot better in person than in photos – I wasn't sure if I wanted to go after just looking here, but it was definitely worth it!
The portions are absolutely huge.
The prices were a bit above average but then again, you're getting significantly bigger than average portion as well, so I think it's worth it.
The atmosphere is okay, nothing that special, but nice anyway.
The food tasted lovely, but the service was pretty slow – we had to wait quite a bit for the waiter to even notice us, and then a while more for the food to come.
Overall I think a pretty good deal just for the portion sizes alone, would go again.

Service is a little slow but the food is tasty and the Caipirinhas are strong! Sitting outside is very nice in September.
Frango a la Bernardo is fantastic!

The staff was very attentive. We ate inside instead of the patio. The portions were large. We brought the leftovers home to eat later.
I have eaten in Lapa and other places, and found the staff here to be far more professional.
Great place!

What a beautiful place! So relaxing...
The service was amazing! Very friendly and helpful, they definitely made our time more enjoyable. Food was great and the whole atmosphere was just perfect.
We had a beautiful view at the Chris Redeemer during the sunset, it just added to it and made the dinner more magical.

A higher end restaurant with gorgeous outside seating.
Be aware: the entrance is higher up the street than you'd think from the map.
We waited about 5 minutes to be seated, then about 10 minutes for appetizers and maybe 10 more for entrees after we were finished with those.
The food was delicious, the portion sizes are a bit small so to get full you'd have to order entree+appetizer.
My only complaint is that the steak tartare had some dollops of sauce that seemed like mayonnaise – in my opinion, didn't fit the dish very well.
The atmosphere and the view is the strongest point of the restaurant – the whole place feels like a quiet isolated corner on an otherwise pretty active and noisy street. Maybe a little more outside lights would help in the evening times, but I loved it either way.
Definitely worth visiting, but be prepared for a big check.

One of the few good restaurants in Rio that makes reservations. Nice atmosphere and lovely staff. Maybe they need to update the food menu with new options and a special vegan section.

The place is beautiful. The food is delicious.
The service is slow, disorganized and not super friendly.
Also, when you order a coffee (regular, not espresso), they give you half of a tiny cup, it's a bit ridiculous.

The owner’s passion after all these years is truly inspiring! The service was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the portions were generous – excellent value for money. Authentic Brazilian cuisine made by locals, for locals. A must-visit!
Pay Attention to the hot sauce 😂😂
- We misunderstood and ordered a portion meant for three people, thinking it was for one. -

The food isn't remarkable, but it's good. The staff are pretty friendly and tolerant of those of us who don't speak much Portuguese. There's not a whole of of space to sit inside--just stools around the counter. I recommend the churrasco misto.

Great food, who ever is in the back cooking has this magic way with food. I have ate at many local cafes in my times in RDJ, this is my favorite.

This bar fulfills every need of queer individuals. The beer is cheap and cold ice. The drag shows happening every uneven Friday are not to be missed. Don’t mind the general decoration, it’s all about vintage and camp culture!

Beautiful building - unfortunately there was no art collection up at the time but the waitress did show us the space it would usually be up in as she loves the space itself. It's a really magical area where you can slip in off the side street and go into such a tranquil rooftop.

Beautiful location! The wait was crazy…we waited over 1 hour for our food. And it wasn’t even a full house. Food was okay

Fomos no domingo.

A comida me surpreendeu positivamente, bem gostosa. O atendimento é gentil mas achei que a comida demorou bem. Atenção aos horários, fecha cedo. Recomendo e voltaria.
