I have already went to ALL arab food restaurants in Rio and this hidden gem is by large extent the best in my opinion.

This is by far the most amazing lunch spot in downtown Rio. I have eaten here many times, and without fail, all the food is delicious. Despite being served buffet-style, each dish seems as if it was just-made fresh to order. The staff are super friendly, and the entire restaurant is extremely clean (and welcoming!). Most importantly, the price by weight is a bargain, especially considering the high quality of the food. Without doubt, I will continue dining here happily for the rest of my life. And when I die I'm sure there will be a place exactly like this one in heaven.

From Canada. Wanted a true Rio culinary experience. So much variety! So delicious! Wonderful environment! Great introduction to Brazilian cuisine that working people enjoy every day. Highly recommended. Don’t miss this place. As close to home cooking as you’ll find in Rio. Wonderful! Obrigado Toque Carioca.

It's my favorite fast food when I'm running out of lunch time. I get an açaí shake with granola and banana, sit on the chair and watch the rush of Avenida Passos. I recommend the chicken croissant, of course! LOL

I ordered a sparkling water and it was hot... The employee changed it, but it took about 5 minutes. In the meantime my Uber arrived and I had to take the hot water that I didn't drink. I paid a lot for water that would be a purgative if I drank it in the hot weather.

Megamatte has always been my option for healthier snacks, as they are baked in the oven, instead of fried. The high score goes to the mate, which is completely organic and artisanal.

GREAT! A Sahara classic, with well-seasoned savory dishes, well set back and always hot. Fair price, several options. You can eat at the counter or sit down, and there is a bathroom for customers.

Good restaurant per kilo in the center, 53.90, has many salad options, hot dishes, quiche, and some Arabic dishes such as raw kibbeh, rice with lentils and fried onions, hummus, tabbouleh, curd. There's steak, chicken. Dessert options by the kilo too. After 2pm the price increases to R$44.00. Large, clean environment, has clean bathrooms. The service was bad. In fact, one employee in particular (who looked like the owner of the place as he wasn't wearing his uniform and was giving some orders). The grilled cheese with turkey breast is reasonable, but very filling. Overall, it is a 3 star place. It looks clean.

Hearty and very tasty meals. The esfirra is as good as the one in Largo do Machado. Attentive attendants. Great air conditioning. Clean and simple in its decor. It gets pretty crowded at lunch time. Moderate prices. I recommend.

I make a point of walking a little extra during lunch time to eat here. Great food, fair price, attentive staff and the fries are dry, great, great! As a vegetarian customer, it serves me well. Although there could be a little more variety for this type of food.
