5 Star Rating Frederick’s is such a lovely spot near Angel’s antique market. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, with lots of greenery and a relaxed vibe. We tried the Angus beef tartare, which was super fresh, and the chargrilled lamb neck, which was so tender and full of flavor. The sticky toffee pudding was the perfect way to end the meal. The service was friendly, and the cocktails were great too. It’s a perfect place for a date night or a nice dinner with friends. Definitely coming back!

Andreea and the team were amazing in the run up to the day, helping us with table plans, menu choices and any other questions we had. The space is perfect for a small celebration.

5 Star Rating I went here with my family for a Sunday Roast after we saw there was new management. The roasts were delicious and of a proper size! There were even vegan and vegetarian roast options which did not hold back- the roast parsnip was a personal favourite. The bar staff were super friendly and helpful with our young child, and the building had obviously just had a refresh as it was decorated tastefully with flowers on the tables. Would definitely return!

5 Star Rating Lovely pub, for a drink but this time we ate and the food was outstanding. We went for Sunday lunch and between three us us managed to try the beef, chicken and pork. All the meats were very nicely cooked, and a generous portion (especially the beef) and came with amazing Yorkshire puddings and lots of veg. Extra gravy and puddings available on request and included in the price I think! Brilliant.

4 Star Rating I was tempted to give the food a 4 because of the limited vegan options. But that wouldn’t be fair as it’s not a vegan restaurant and there are sufficient options. Besides the taste and quality is excellent as well as super filling. This was my first time and the staff were great at explaining the process and options. It is fun and reassuring to watch them prepare your meal and be asked what you want included; an anxious vegans’ dream. The decor is super colourful and fun. My only critique of the atmosphere was the music was really loud; which was a little much during the day while the restaurant wasn’t full. Great Latin vibe though. A fantastic experience and I will come again.

5 Star Rating I came here for the first a couple of weeks ago for my friends birthday dinner, and it was honestly incredible! As a group of 8, we decided to order a variety of dishes to share between us. Everything tasted absolutely delicious, so fresh, so well presented too. I’ve been telling everyone about Sasa Sushi and recommending it as a fantastic restaurant to go to if you want authentic and yummy Japanese food. The drinks were also tasty. Great atmosphere — relaxed, with a chilled buzz. My only critique is that the dessert menu is non existent — only ice cream — and one scoop with one flavour available at that!

2 Star Rating Average and lacklustre food. Started with some yakitori and skewers which were bland. The char looked promising, but flavours weren’t there. The sashimi was average at best. The akami was a dull brownish-red colour, and it turned out to be super fishy. We had to send it back for replacement. They told us that they use bluefin tuna, so the colour is different from other tunas. I’m not an expert, but I’ve had enough tuna to know what’s good and what’s not, and this was definitely not good. The replacements were slightly better, but still not great. Wagyu nigiri had chewy veins and not as tasty as other A5 wagyu I've had elsewhere. They use long grain rice in their sushi, which was not right. The nori in their rolls were also stale. On the bright side, their homemade hojicha ice cream was really nice. But why the praline drizzle? It ruined it honestly. Let your tasty ice cream shine (less is more)!

5 Star Rating Absolutely fantastic sushi dining experience in the heart of London. Each course was carefully and thoughtfully prepared, and the service and servers were both excellent. The staff were knowledgeable and recommended some incredible dishes. Can highly recommend the SASA set, the rainbow roll, and the nasugendaku—but most of all, the absolutely delicious basque cheesecake with a strawberry and raspberry sauce. Will definitely be dining here again!

5 Star Rating We had the lunch bowl offer on this visit, with some sides. The food was tasty, as it usually is here, with the only downside being that there wasn’t enough sauce in proportion to the amount of rice in the bowl (as a set lunch menu item, there was no option to get extra sauce for the curry, so it was a bit dry). Our server Alex was friendly, attentive, and efficient.

4 Star Rating First experience with this chain and mostly positive. Good menu selection and food delivered matched up....and tastey. Good portion of pad Thai. Banana fritter dessert pretty good. Initially served by manager who was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the other staff were less professional, asked to drop optional service charge at checkout, and was questioned why and then had the two male staff muttering to each other. Sorry chaps you need to learn manners before expecting a tip....for nothing. Would try the chain again but watch out for large service charge added onto your bill!.....Tip staff directly.

3 Star Rating Came here for dinner after seeing good reviews for a thai place, chicken dumplins starter was lovely, for main I got the beef rendang curry flavours were great however dish was served more warm than hot and towards the end the whole dish was cold and im quite a quick eater, service was abit annoying there were two servers and it was quiet they both kept coming over and asking the same question as the other, recieved the bill, paid cash and the waitress just said thank you and didnt bring over the change, I just let it go as it was around £3 but after paying a 12.5% service charge she should of gave me change and let me decide what to do with it instead of just keeping it Would visit a bananatree again just probably not this one

5 Star Rating While I was in the store today, I saw a customer being unnecessarily rude to one of the staff members. The worker handled the situation with incredible patience and professionalism, staying calm, polite, and respectful the entire time. She didn’t let the negativity affect her attitude and continued to provide excellent service to everyone else. It really showed her strength, dedication, and kindness under pressure. Staff like her are the reason I’ll keep coming back plus the food — she’s a true credit to the business.

3 Star Rating Rude manager or acting manager. While I wasn’t treated unkindly myself, I was shocked by how the woman, who I believe was a manager, spoke to one of the staff members. There was an Asian employee who appeared to be in training, and the way she addressed him was condescending, dismissive, and unnecessarily rude. It was genuinely uncomfortable to witness. This worker was clearly trying his best, yet she treated him as though he were incompetent, and she did so in front of customers. Mistakes happen, especially when someone is learning, and there’s simply no excuse for belittling a team member like that. I truly commend the staff member for handling being barked at in public with such composure. Watching this interaction made it painfully clear how one person’s behavior can create a toxic work environment. I sincerely hope the management style here changes, because what I saw was unpleasant and unacceptable. That said, the food itself was lovely.

Menu keeps evolving to meet every budget and the range of products means there is something for everyone at any time of day! I personally love the great value drinks (gives pricier merchants a run for their money any time!) and sandwiches , which I somehow manage to add to all my orders! The points scheme is also fabulous and those points quickly add up to genuine freebies from the menu - but please add the option to buy a larger or sandwich with points 🙏

5 Star Rating Update: been a regular customer at this store for almost a year. Never felt disappointed. The drinks have been consistent and the services are excellent. All the staff have been providing 6 stars services and complying to Starbuck’s standards. They are so attentive that they remember what is my latest order. So impressive 😍 Also, I have seen them so many times doing excellent and attentive services to every of their customers and they treat all the customers equally. They even ask how much milk the customers want in their teas, americano. Furthermore, when it was just a little splash of lemonade short, they walked to grab a new carton, so all the drinks are consistent and right to the recipe and standard. Perfect drinks, good customer services. All the staff here have expertise in making good coffee and meticulously make coffee tailored to my preference. Also, they are more than willing to listen to your request and have a great common sense and problem solving skills. The manager is humble and has a fantastic service mind. Once he asked me how my drink was, I felt like this store was specialty coffee shop. Never disappointed with their services

4 Star Rating I like this ‘tardis’ Starbucks, it’s one of my local Starbucks. It has a stimulating atmosphere and upstairs there are a lot of seats and space and people sit there for a long time. There are lots of plug sockets upstairs if you want to plug in your laptop or charge your phone. The staff are pleasant and cheerful. There are more comfortable seats upstairs than downstairs and they have a few seats outside if you want some fresh air. It is much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. The only snag is that you need to watch the step upstairs, I’ve been caught outside a few times. Also, watch the stairs because they are very steep, I’ve seen a young lady fall down those stairs. There are toilets upstairs but you will need a combination to use them.
