The FlightPad London Flight Simulator experience provides the opportunity to see and feel what it is like to take the controls of a 737 - 800 passenger jet

Do you ever wonder what all goes on in the cockpit of a passenger jet. The opportunity to experience what it would be like to take the controls of a large passenger jet is not available to the public in most cities, however London does have one such attraction - FlightPad London Flight Simulator. This attraction offers a very realistic and immersive experience and is highly recommended by many of those who have tried it.

FlightPad London's Simulator features a scale replica of a modern Boeing 737 cockpit with virtually every control simulated. More than just a ride, this is a real learning experience. With the exception of a motion platform this simulator is very much like the simulators used to train real pilots. Your experience will include a briefing and instruction from an actual pilot throughout the session. No previous experience is necessary. You will have the opportunity to take-off, fly and land in a very realistic and immersive virtual 737 airliner.

There are a variety of different experiences and price points available. The location is easy to get to via the Underground and only a 4 minute walk from the station.

This is certainly an experience to consider if you are interested in planes and aviation, but in most cases you must book your experience in advance, so be sure to visit their official website linked above.

Rated 4.8 out of 5FlightPad 737 Flight Simulator Star Rating

5 Star Rating My son was very pleased. Fantastic care of the instructor, very patient, kind and encouraging the child to be active. For this day my son was waiting for this day and the only word he would like to describe this experience is Intense. Lots of emotions, joy and curiosity in the cabin of the plane.

5 Star Rating This was an amazing experience especially as someone who’s a massive MSFS fan, saving up for their PPL. My instructor Dominic (a real 737 pilot) seemed like a really chill guy and welcoming. During the whole time, I did not feel rushed at any point and he was patient, answering any questions I had (both technical and personal) at a nice level of detail and we had a good conversation. Onto the simulator itself. You’re able to fly anywhere in the world and that Innsbruck Runway 26 Landing was breathtaking. I’m not an airline pilot but the cockpit perfectly matches the 737-800 cockpits that I find online. There was a minor problem with the seat recliner but it didn’t affect my flying in any way. Overall it’s an unforgettable day and I recommend it to anyone whether your an aviation fan or not. Thank you very much to Flightpad, Dominic and also Amir who went above and beyond by accommodating a specific timing request which was not available on the booking calendar

5 Star Rating Recently had my first flight simulator with Dipeet. Though we came across with some simulator difficulties at first, the technical team resolved it swiftly. From my experience thus far, all staff I’ve been in contact with are highly experienced pilots, very amicable, with a passion to help qualified pilots train to company level standards, but also open to teaching new enthusiasts and inexperienced people to provide them a memorable flight experience. -Note booking in advance may be helpful to help the staff adjust bookings with their company rosters. They have so far gone above and beyond my expectations; offering real life advice and resources to help me along my journey. I’ll definitely go out of my way to use them as a primary resource in preparation for a company simulator examination. The facility is a 10 minute walk from the underground station, situated inside the university. All in all, I’d recommend the experience.
