I had a great time at Everyman on Baker Street! In particular, Evan was lovely in helping ensure that I had a very special and comfortable experience. His service was welcoming and helpful, in addition to all the other staff members too. I can definitely recommend this theatre for the food and drinks, ambiance, and great service!

The Everyman Theatre on Baker Street is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, Soho and Evan made the experience truly special with their outstanding service—they were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the ideal spot to enjoy a great movie. The film itself was fantastic, and combined with the excellent service, it made for an unforgettable evening. Highly recommend visiting Everyman for anyone looking for a top-notch cinema experience!

We had such an amazing experience at Everyman Cinema Baker Street today watching The Conjuring 2! A huge thank you to Lola, who went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with warmth, genuine kindness, and the type of personal touch you rarely find these days.
She truly made the whole evening special – checking in on us, making sure we were comfortable, and bringing so much positive energy. Honestly, Lola isn’t just a great host, she’s the best host ever. With the way she cares for guests and creates such a welcoming atmosphere, she deserves to be the manager!
Thank you, Lola, for making our night unforgettable. We’ll definitely be coming back – and it’s because of you. 👏

Popped in to The Globe with a couple of colleagues midweek and found this historic pub surprisingly peaceful compared to its usually bustling atmosphere.
The venue still maintains that authentic British pub charm that's increasingly hard to find in central London.
Football matches were on but without overwhelming the space - perfect for keeping an eye on the score while still having a conversation.
Reasonable drink prices considering the prime location opposite Baker Street Station.
Their selection of independent beers on hand pumps is quite good.
The pub was clean and well-maintained.
There's a nice outdoor seating area, though we opted to stay inside on this visit.
Perfect spot for a relaxed drink if you're near Madame Tussauds or the Sherlock Holmes Museum.
I'd definitely return when in the area - particularly for that peaceful midweek atmosphere that's rare to find in such a central location.

Unlikely to win a prize for the best roast dinner but definitely gets five stars for warm and friendly staff.
It’s a chain pub and the roast is good value for money and the dessert offering hits the right notes with classic sticky toffee pudding and lemon tart.
Missing stuffing on the chicken roast was dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Personally don’t like having to order off an app but appreciate makes it easier for the venue.

We came as a group and had the best time! Courtney honestly made the whole experience so much better super friendly, fun and made us feel really welcome. Her service was amazing and she made sure we were always looked after. She honestly made the night!

The bar service was underwhelming. Having said that, the rest of the experience was spectacular! Exceeded even my highest expectations. You’d have to absolutely hate live theater and Shakespeare to not love this, and even then you’d probably say “okay, that was pretty good.” We got the best seats in the house with the cushion add on. About $100 each. But for just $12 or so you can stand right in front of where we sat. Sure you have to stand for the whole show (3 hours), but at least you get to see it. We will go back to see a show here every time we visit London. Few bucket list items make a repeat showing on the list but this will be one. Pictures taken may 1. So it gives you an idea of the ambiance as the sun sets. Taken from our seats, first tier, first row, middle section. No photography allowed during the show.

My son and I were here twice in one week during our vacation in London. Fantastic food and ale, and the best sticky toffee pudding I’ve ever had. Great service and the atmosphere is like going back in time to the 1800s. Highly recommended!

I went to Phoenix Palace with my husband and friend, both from Hong Kong.
According to them, this is the REAL DEAL!
And I agree!
The atmosphere evokes a Chinese restaurant that has been around for a long time with a little wear and tear and a lot of authenticity.
The ornate decorative style is very classic and makes you feel like you are in for a very authentic dining experience.
The extensive menu offers classic Cantonese cuisine as well as regional specialties.
We went to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and it was the perfect choice.
Check it out!

The best Chinese restaurant for dim sum and dinner!! So good my family came twice, 2-days in a row. The best banquet food I’ve had in my life. The way the suckling pig came out was iconic.

Phoenix Palace is one of those places that delivers a true dim sum feast. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. The setting is elegant, the service was efficient.
It’s definitely not a cheap spot, but if you're after authentic Chinese cuisine done right, it’s worth the splurge. Great for special occasions or when you just want to treat yourself to the real deal.

Traditional Wetherspoons renovation project. Great location next to Baker Street tube station. Pub is on 2 levels but has a lift from the entrance lobby to the first level. Typical Spoons decor in a dingy setting with raised seating & stools or booths if you are lucky enough to grab one. Pub was quiet at 1430 on a Tuesday but probably gets busy due it's super location. Prices were realistic for our capital city. Stella was £6.19. Some better club deal prices if you visit on the right day. Toilets are on the second level. Disabled facility on first level.
Brian Curtin - 3 weeks ago
Proper spacious venue, plenty of available plug sockets, delightful staff! A la the Wetherspoons festival they had about 6 different festival ales on and you're spoiled for choice of real ales on cask and decent keg based craft beers too, will definitely be returning sometime! Had a bit of an unnerving experience with a punter but can't hold that against the place itself.
Alexandra Vince - 2 months ago
Great atmosphere in a historic location. A pub full of history and literature combined with modern city living. The disabled access was excellent, the lift made getting around really easy and the layout was spacious and comfortable. I will return.

This is one of those Wetherspoon's that has made good use of an old building... keeping it's ambience alive.
For what Wetherspoon's offers this, in my experience over many visits, is a great example of affordable food and drink.
A couple of days ago we went in for beers and all day brunch; excellent. Well kept London Pride ale and hot fried dish with plenty of taste and variety.
One piece of advice though, grab a table quickly and use the app. This place is always buzzing but nonetheless well worth visiting (and again and again).
Derek Halls - 3 months ago
A busy Wetherspoons which is understandable given it's proximity to many tourist attractions.
Food was good and arrived within a decent timeframe.
Busy attentive staff.
Good clean toilets.
Wi-fi was a bit spotty and slow depending on whether or not you were in the main bar area though.

Really good lunch! Staff were very friendly. We had the squid, cod and chicken on the tapas menu - and the mac and cheese with bacon. All of it was brilliant, even the side salad. Will definitely be visiting again.

Sam totally took care of us! We were heading out of town in the mid morning before they officially served lunch, but Sam and the chef were willing to make us fish and chips as a sendoff. They were delicious, the food was great, the service is amazing, and such a fun vibe to have a pub right around the corner from where we stayed. We’ll be back!

Great atmosphere generally, even better when sports watching! They show different sports and sometimes have live singers like Hannah Dorman playing that makes the vibes even better. The bar staff is top notch too, especially Kofi. Highly recommend.

Hark, good fellows, and lend thine ears to a tale of a most magnificent tavern!
Upon entering this most excellent establishment, one is greeted by a wondrous sight: a veritable kingdom of brews from lands near and far.
A man could spend a fortnight here and still not taste every ale and lager, each one a testament to the brewer's art.
Yet, let us not forget the jewels in the crown—the cask British ales, as fine and true as any lord's promise. They are a nectar for the soul, a balm for a weary heart, and a joy to the palate.
And what of the food, you ask? A feast for the senses! I speak of the steak and ruddle ale pie, a dish so divine it must have been conjured by the gods themselves. The pastry, light as a summer's cloud, gives way to a filling so rich and tender, so bursting with flavor, that one's knees might buckle with pure delight. 'Tis a dish fit for a king, I swear!
Lastly, let us not forget the people who serve this heavenly fare. The waiters and bartenders, a merry and attentive lot, see to one's every need with a smile and a good-natured word. They are a credit to their house and a joy to their patrons.
In short, if you seek a place where the drink is varied and delicious, the food is a masterpiece, and the service is without peer, then seek out this noble pub.
Forsooth, you shall not be disappointed.

I was able to snap a quick of the stairs down to the loos. Not slippery at all, very clean and nice
They had the 100 on in the bar, I think i do prefer test cricket but it certainly has its place. Then they put the football on so I went out side, I think the blue team was beating the red team. They have outdoor seating thank goodness because my legs were sleepy.

Went to Nando’s and had the Chicken Platter plus a soft drink. The food was tasty, and the chicken was cooked well. Sides like corn and broccoli were fresh and nicely grilled. Service was good, and we were lucky not to wait too long for a table. The bill for two of us came to £33, which felt reasonable. Overall, a positive experience. I’d come back again!

Such a friendly vibe. I loved all the selection of different sauces. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere.
Tried the Halloumi Sticks and the honey dip. Melty and very nice. The food arrived very fast.
Had the chicken wings, medium heat sauce, fries and corn. A good seasoning on everything. Chicken was fairly juices, not to dry. The sauces really did shine.

This was our second visit to Nandos and we ordered Boneless platter. It was really good and the sauces were excellent. With the complimentary slides with the platter, it was enough for two people. Although we waited for the table, the service was fast.

We tried nandos baker street for 2 days and damn it was toooo goood. The peri peri sauce was the real deal. We ordered deal of two and the spicy rice with rainbow slaw. My friend ordered sarges and I ordered lemonade the lemonade was not good at all.
Coming to service it was too slow. The people on reception are very lazy when workers saw huge queue of the customers queueing up to order food and there is no person on the counter then workers who are just standing there doing nothing should take up the reception and start taking orders but when we look at the workers who were standing there doing nothing they just dont wanna make eye contact with us because deep down they dont wanna take up that duty.
Very less selection of drinks need to be increased.

I had an amazing dining experience at the Pizza Express on Baker Street yesterday! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, and the warm, inviting atmosphere really set the tone for the meal. We were seated at table 17, and the service was outstanding.
We started with the dough balls. For the mains, we ordered the Four Seasons pizza and the BBQ Burnt Ends pizza. Both were delicious.
Now, check out this picture I snapped—this is a 1/4 of the 1/4 slice of the Four Seasons pizza! Even in that small slice, it was so packed with fresh, delicious toppings.
My stomach and my heart was full by the end of the meal.
A huge thank you to the team for providing such a fantastic experience.

After a recent less-than-great experiences at another Pizza Express location, the Baker Street branch completely won us over. The ambiance was inviting, the food was excellent, and the service was top-notch.
We’ll absolutely be returning and will highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Distinctly below average. We stopped here to get a variety of sushi to take home for dinner… what was to have been a treat was a real disappointment… bland, uninspiring and rather tasteless. There are so many better places to go. Won’t be back.

Food, service and atmosphere were 5 plus stars. To start, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and feels very high end. Next, the food was fresh, delicious and perfectly done. They were great at accommodating gluten free and even had celiac safe gluten free French fries. The Eton Mess dessert and mushroom risotto were highlights. Last but not least, the service was incredible and unlike service we’ve received in basically any other kosher restaurant (in London, New York or otherwise). Tony Page himself visited our table. Must visit for kosher visitors to London!
