Very nice staff, always kind and willing to help! Great location in front of Hyde park and with easy transportation choice. Very good breakfast, both for quality and choice. I definitely recommend this hotel. I have been twice and I would not hesitate to come back. Thanks for contributing to making our staying in London so enjoyable!

Loved this hotel for our stay in London. Location was perfect. Most comfortable beds, luxurious fluffy towels, best shower!!, room and good lighting in bathroom to put on makeup. Big closet!! Perfect!

Small rooms well insulated so a good sleep.
Reasonable clean. Great shower water pressure.
Really friendly staff.
Evening meal menu.
- not huge variety and not great for allergies.
- very limited drinks menu SUPER expensive
- staff turned the lights down so low I could hardly see my food.
- they add an automatic service charge in which is cheeky
Breakfast
- nice recommend go early as gets busy
- shame mushrooms were steamed with lemons.
- staff friendly and efficient

Great location easy walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens shops, cafes and restaurants. Room was adequate although on the smaller size. Bathroom needs a deep clean to remove the red soap algae and previous residents hair etc. Towels were luxurious however no place to hang them. Special mention this hotel is very accessible and has easy wheelchair entry.

I came here only for barbecue duck and it is really good. Duck is juicy and I think it is better than another branch in China town.
Shop is quite busy during 8pm.
They take order quite quick but a bit long time to take a bill.
Seats inside are very packed.

Wanted to compare the roasted duck between this restaurant and the one down the road. Both are equally good but the one here is sweeter. We also ordered the set meal A which consisted of an assortment of dishes as we were undecided what to order. I like the corn soup which has similar texture and consistency of shark fins soup. My favourite was the stir fried beef which was tender and full of flavours. The other dishes except the fried rice were also good. Fried rice was quite bland.
Service here is not as friendly but it was efficient. We got our food quickly after we placed our order.

Always wanted to try this place since I always see long queues snaking outside the restaurant during peak dinner time. If you come before peak dinner time (5.30 pm), you might be able to walk in without a red snag a table, because that’s what we did.
Everyone comes here for the duck— typical Irish fat duck, which is fat and juicy. We liked the duck but we would have preferred it if the skin was a little crispier.

One of my old favourite Chinese restaurants in London, I started coming back here again. Food has always been exemplary, but other restaurants with the same cuisine in the area give it a run for their money. Still, comes highly recommended.

Best roast duck restaurant in London, my go to place for roast duck. Yummy roast duck, char Siu and pork belly. Their BBQ pork ribs is delicious. We always start with soft shell crabs and hot and sour soup. Best 4 season branch, been taking friends and tourist to this restaurant for last 20 years. Very popular among Londoners.
Street parking is a bit tricky as mostly resident parking at Bayswater. Best go to Queensway tub station or Bayswater just across the road.

Went there for a quick game of bowling, ended up staying for a couple of games and to watch some ice hockey. Great atmosphere, attentive staff and cheery/knowledgeable doormen (which I find quite rare in London). Defo be back again soon!
Small side note: Only down side to the venue, is the heat in the bowling alley. Need to crank up that AC.

QUEENS skate dine and bowl is a good venue for small to large groups looking to have fun with a variety of activities. Personally, I have spent most of my time ice skating, but have visited to bowl with a large group. The ice rink is very good, as it gets resurfaced regularly throughout the day. The staff on the rink are generally really friendly and helpful, and are often helping people when they fall over.

Fantastic from booking to finish. Friendly helpful staff always on hand. Clean tidy and great place always happy to return. Good value for money
Especially if I get to have a cheeky drink while the kids skate. This one called get ducked is the latest one 👌

We had a great time! I walked by this place 6 times before I realized it was just a nightclub/bar. We went down and bowled and ice skated! What fun. The only draw back was it was a little expensive. With that said the staff was great and it’s a great atmosphere.
Roger Tessier - 2 weeks ago
Lovely ice rink and bowling alley. Have been here many times, mainly for ice skating but also bowling for our work Christmas party. Booking with QUEENS was incredibly easy, and they were able to host a group of over 25+ with very little notice! The booking came with drink tokens at an affordable price. Love the ice rink and think it’s the best rink in London, and I’ve often spotted Olympic ice skaters! Would recommend visiting in the weekday during school hours, just after the ice has been resurfaced (the schedule is on the website). Locker rentals are available to store your belongings securely, so you don’t have to worry about anything going missing or being damaged on the ice!

We had exactly the dinner we were looking for - perfect fish and chips and lovely sticky toffee pudding - at a nice little table outside. Just a great little neighborhood pub!

Great spot for a drink and some food. Had the steak ale pie and was very impressed. Had a few drinks while waiting for others and they had a good selection of beers on tap. Recommend a stop if you're looking for food or a drink. Food and a beer was around 20 pounds depending on what you get.

Excellent spot for a pint or a pub dinner. Plenty of televisions for the games. Wait staff is fantastic, the bar tender was attentive, quick and knowledgeable. Standard pub fare done very well.

100 m from the noise of Queensway, the Phoenix, Moscow Road W2 couldn't have been more different than the chaos we left in search of a good second pint. Nice sofas and a few tables outside, the pub deserved more punters than it had when we visited. Very nice. Wish we had tried the food so no review. Apparently dog friendly too.

Very nice pub near our hotel. Friendly service, great cider on tap (Aspall, hadn't known it), a small setting area outside, very comfortable for hanging around in the evening. Did not try the food, so I cannot say anything about that.

A very lovely location with great views, good fish & chips, and fresh flowers at all the tables. Staff was very nice and you could easily get someone's attention. Only complaint is that the cottage pie seemed a bit microwaved in how the heat was distributed.

We stopped by here for a quick drink before our dinner and we liked the overall experience.
We would have ordered a snack but it seems the pub only has like 4 items on their menu that are nibbles, leaving us with few choices. The floor was also slightly sticky where we sat. Nonetheless there was nothing that would stop us from ever coming back as the beers and service were good.

Visited for lunch on a Friday afternoon. It was relatively empty but food took a long time to arrive, about 30mins. The food was good. There is a very limited menu and therefore even more limited if you are vegetarian. Service was good. It was really cold in the whole place. The inside is huge so suitable for groups. Drinks selection is extensive.

Did they live up to the hype? Yes, they did!
To start with, very friendly staff in this restaurant. From service manager to regular waitress were all very friendly and welcoming.
Clean! The place is well maintained and the utensils are spotless. 🍴🍽️🥢
The food is very well prepared and cooked. Possibly the best duck I have ever tasted. 🦆Juicy, tender and the sauce that flows over it is so yummy! 😋 The Spinach is well cooked and very tasty too. 🥬 (This is a difficult Chinese veg to cook) and the beef 🐄 was tender and super yummy. (No frozen smell or taste)
Overall, I’m going to agree that this would be one of the best Chinese Cantonese Duck that you can get in London. 👍

I've been a loyal customer of Gold Mine for years, and their duck rice never fails to impress! The flavors are simply amazing, and it's easily the best I've had in London. The staff, especially Chris, are incredibly friendly and always make me feel so welcomed, adding a personal touch to each visit. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for enjoying a delicious meal. If you're a fan of authentic Cantonese cuisine, Gold Mine is a must-visit. It's my go-to spot whenever I'm in London, and I can't recommend it enough!

This is one of my favorite roast duck restaurant in London! I have 1st tried their roast duck 20 over years back and the roast duck has been pretty consistent. The dim sum portion is considered generous and big. The har gao and egg tart is so good! We dropped by during lunch time and the restaurant is crowded and the q for dinner time is always long as our hotel is nearby. Will definitely be back if I get a chance to visit London again!

I had a wonderful experience here. I recommend arriving around 1 PM to avoid a long wait for a table. We also appreciated not being rushed to leave once seated. The food was excellent, and despite how busy the restaurant was, the service was surprisingly prompt.

Avoid. At least, the fish and chips.
Not sure what the other reviewer who sang it's praises was served... Overpriced, poor quality and not as advertised.
(1) See the pic of the menu description. Note the description for the peas and the chips. You can see that the (miserly portion of) peas was not "crushed" in any way! And the chips hadn't been adequately cooked once, let alone multiple times aka "triple-cooked"(2) What's up with the portion sizes? Are frozen peas expensive? And potatoes? At least there was no service charge on top of that £17 bill.
I ate the whole meal, but I didn't love it, and wish I'd gone elsewhere.

Delicious meal! Even my picky eater kids (ages 9, 11 and 13) cleaned their plates! We had the vintage Mac and cheese, fish and chips, sirloin, and chicken and bacon sandwich. Everything was wonderful! Would definitely eat here again and wish we had tried it earlier in our trip so we could come back!

We were staying in the area for one night, and Bella Italia stood out as a nice place to go. We received a warm and friendly welcome, although our waiter seemed a little preoccupied with his friend outside during our dinner.. Great choice of good quality dishes, what we ordered was most enjoyable. Overall, it was a really nice evening, and I would visit again.

Decent bella italia branch. Food quality has room for improvement. Pasta with meatballs was not great and meatballs didn’t taste well. Bolognese almost without tomato sauce. Pizza was good though.

After my negative review about the restaurant on Leicester Square, the company sent me a voucher for a free main course.I used it for the Queensway 55 location, and want to say the difference between the 2 restaurants is enormous. This location is perfect- perfect service, excellent food, and a great atmosphere. Thank you

Had a great lunch there. The food is the star - authentic and superb. We had the pork fillet and the slow cooked lamb. Both were well flavoured and the lamb, fork tender. The rice was fluffy and worked a treat.
All in all, a must try.

They provide very authentic food. You have book in advance since the seating area tend to be limited. I had the lame fest with rice, prawn shrimp, wings, hummus with lame is the best. Overall very positive experience. I would recommend it to others. Take into account that they charge high prices for their dishes.

Lovely little taverna.
Being half Cypriot myself I was so excited to visit. We had the meat mezze which was nice. I was a little disappointed with the prawns ( one each) and the sheftalia wasn’t too my liking at all which is one of my favourite dishes usually. However the dips and starters were delicious.
Staff super friendly and lovely. Even when we asked 2 waiters for another drink for my husband and they both forgot, when one realised the mistake they gave us a free drink which was nice!

This traditional Greek restaurant, just a short walk from Bayswater station, is a popular spot. Booking is recommended, as we observed many walk-in customers being asked to return later when we visited. The service is unhurried, the experience is about savouring the homemade dishes at a relaxed pace. .

If you are looking for a genuine Chinese food experience then look no further than Mandarin Kitchen. The hustle and bustle of a busy Chinese restaurant adds to the experience. No airs and graces just good food, service and atmosphere.
We dined like emperors. Two of us took down half a roasted duck, half a drunken chicken, fried prawns in egg yolk, lobster over soft noodles and morning glory. The menu is extensive but looking around at what others were being served suggests everything was as good as that we ate. We finished with toffee apple and ice cream. That was nice but my only ask would be a few more Asian choices such as mango sago pudding!
The service is attentive and the food flew out of the kitchen piping hot and perfectly cooked. That said, we were not rushed and having been seated at 7pm, left happy and full just before 11pm.
Located just across the road from Queensway on the Central Line makes this an essay get to and from for those in London.
The bill came to £90 each, which is arguably on the tad expensive side although given the amount of food we are would normally have fed four it was pretty reasonable!
Happy eating. I’m definitely returning!

Don’t know why this restaurant is so popular. Mediocre food and service. I think easily can get from China town. The duck was recommended and it’s super “dry”. Clams was a bit overcook and the large prawn is nothing special too. The lobster noodles is the best among all as the meat is tender and sweet. Won’t be coming back for sure.

The famous ginger and spring onion lobster noodle did not disappoint us
But it can be better. Too much corn starch to make the sauce like glue. Lobster is reasonable and a touch tough but that’s normal European lobster. Service is reasonable and does the job. Forget the atmosphere and focus on the food.
Reasonable value for money given it’s London.

We ordered Ginger Lemon Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken and grilled vegetables. The lemon was very strong, but good. The chicken was not breaded and really soaked up the sauce. Service was adequate, ambiance was minimal.
