A stones throw from Camden Town tube this music venue has both good sound and lighting, clean loos and more than one bar with quick service.
Don't turn up with food, drink etc. as these cannot be taken in. I would have given five stars but the security, who are pleasant otherwise, were perhaps a bit too assertive with those not following the rules.

We attended the Electric Ballroom in Camden for a GWC wrestling event. The show was amazing and well worth the money we will definitely be returning for Wrestling in the future. All the staff there were friendly and helpful!!!

I didn’t have food, not sure if they do it, but the bar staff were prompt and friendly. I don’t think I’ve been to a gig that has air conditioning before. I’m sure it’s a god send in the height of summer but it was rather chilly when I was there - it all adds to the carbon foot print too.

One of my favourite London Venues. Love the 'not-too-big' size, and the beer is cheaper than any pubs around Camden!

Great vibes, amazing live music, and delicious food! The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, perfect for a night out. The staff were super friendly and the cocktails were spot on. Definitely a Camden gem! will be back!

The sharing rib meal, a feast of corn and crab butter, creamy mac n cheese, chips, and a refreshing dressed lettuce wedge, was so utterly delicious that it completely erased the memory of the poor service. The beef rib was sensationally tender and tasty. The drinks and cocktails leaned towards the pricey side, but if catching the live entertainment then it's excellent value. Highly recommended food.
My Guinness had a clover imprint in the foamy head!
Beautiful decor added to the ambience.

Went with a group of people. It's decor reminds me of pub meets bar. We sat in a cramped booth, needs to be more spacious to access and exit.
Blackened salmon was perfect, served with four tiny potatoes. Need to look at ratio and size of portions.
The tortillas were disappointing, in terms of quality, broke apart when making wraps. Beef on the bone was nice with accompanying splendid sauce.
Drinks were pretty amazing, made well by experienced bartenders.

Great place! Full of friendly people! However the dance floor is long so if you're at the far back it might be difficult to see the band. The food is good. Recommended after Manchester branch, which is loads better.

We would've given this place five stars overall if it weren't for the atrocious value for money. The service was fantastic, and the food was great and different from anything we've tried before, but the fact that a single toasted sandwich cost £15 was impossible to overlook - simply too much money for the portion size even by London standards. It also didn't come with chips, so we had to pay an extra £5 for a little pot...they were amazing though!

We’ve been to this Brewdog many many times. All staff is super friendly and helpful. Food is great. It’s nice to sit downstairs if you need more quiet area. It’s the best chilled Brewdog we’ve been to. Waterloo is way too busy!

BrewDog Pub offers an excellent selection of craft beers, from bold IPAs to smooth stouts, with friendly and knowledgeable staff ready to recommend the perfect brew. The pub’s vibe is relaxed and welcoming, with modern decor and plenty of space.
The highlight, however, is Nelson—the pub’s resident dog. His friendly personality adds a special touch, making the experience feel even more inviting. Whether lounging around or greeting guests, Nelson is truly the best dog.
If you’re in the area, BrewDog Pub is a must-visit for great beer and a warm, community-driven atmosphere.

A quiet Sunday afternoon visit so not necessarily a real reflection of the Brewdog Camden pub. But the bar staff were definitely friendly, the beer options were (more than) plentiful and the place does have a nice vibe.

I’m too lazy to create my own review, but Rich Keane helped me figure it out. Jack and Josh really helped us have a great Saturday. Bottomless deal was excellent and burger choice was really great. Will come again for the service and the atmosphere.

We visited this drinking establishment on Brewdog’s 18th birthday weekend, and my god did we celebrate.
There’s too much to chat about, but we want to specifically thank the lovely ginger man in the cap. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Also shoutout to the other bartender who provided the blue roll.
We couldn’t have done it without you ❤️

Small venue with a lot of atmosphere. The layout is fun, with a wide but shallow standing area on the ground floor, so you're at most maybe ten rows back from the stage. Seating upstairs with dining looks nice (didn't go up there on my visit). Sound quality was great, and staff friendly. Easy access via tube and bus.

Super venue haven’t been here in a long time
Easy to book
Nice and secure welcome friendly staff especially reception and security
Good bars x2
Diverse crowd of all ages reflective of London at its best!
The band Everything Yes were from North Carolina and such great energetic performances. Even the opening trio were fabulous
A few rowdy people were efficiently escorted out but didn’t ruin the show
Sound system good and realised I’ve really missed this place!

Good location, very close to train stations. Small venue, also means you're not too from the stage at any events held here. It also has 2 bars, so I guess it was designed right. 😊
Came here for RnB night, was very nice.

Food was excellent as was waiter service at table.

We had a fantastic experience at Jamon Jamon Camden! The tapas were delicious, the chorizo and chicken paella was perfectly cooked. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and a special mention to the new manager, Isa, who gave us great recommendations and made us feel at home.
If you love authentic Spanish food with excellent service, this is the place to go!

My interest in visiting this place was because I saw that Amy Winehouse loved to eat there.
That's why I went there and I eat Spanish food (I had already tried Spanish food when I was in Barcelona and Madrid).
So this place is very nice, the atmosphere, the food, the service and the music and it’s close to the bus station, metro, pubs, etc. I love it.

Incredible. Absolutely amazing service and the food was to die for. The staff were lovely and you can tell they love to work there. The portion sizes were great and worth the price. Would definitely recommend the Paella mixta! They had a salsa dance class going on at the front of the restaurant which gave a really relaxed and homely atmosphere.

One of our stops on our pub crawl through the Camden area and this place had great vibes. Would only recommend it if you're into metal/rock but our group thought it was pretty awesome. We ordered some premixed shots and went on our way, but I could definitely see myself having more drinks here if we had more time!

What an atmosphere. Metalheads paradise. Excellent food. Veg friendly and dog friendly.
And gig or dance space on the 1st floor.
Won't mind coming back.
Make sure to wear something dark - just to fit in. 🤘🤘

Vegan burgers and frickles are amazing. Great choice of drinks, I loved the pickle margarita. Yet to try the vegan roast but it looks banging
Jodie Bowpitt - 2 weeks ago
Never expected to find an amazing vegan Sunday roast at a rock bar, but here we are! This place has nailed it. Crispy potatoes, plenty of veg, and a hearty tofu centerpiece hit all the right notes. The vegan crackling was the cherry on top. It all went down a treat, proving comfort food classics can be reinvented without losing their soul. Great atmosphere, though the goth decor might make you forget it's daytime. A headbanger's vegan paradise!

Really lovely vegan brunch. Please note they don't sell hot drinks, but their bloody Mary's are incredible (and strong!)
The Mock 'N is amazing especially! High recommend with the waffle, though the pancakes and burger are alright too.
The staff are ace as well, and there's a really fun atmosphere

Nice pub
Good staff
Great if you like your rock and roll music
Eoin H - a month ago
The Good Mixer is hands down one of the best pubs in Camden—steeped in music history and oozing authentic charm. Walking in feels like stepping into the heyday of Britpop, with walls adorned with memorabilia of legends like Oasis, Blur, and Amy Winehouse, who was a regular here . The atmosphere is electric, blending the grit of old-school Camden with a welcoming, lively crowd.
What makes this place special? Free live music multiple nights a week, a killer jukebox, and a pool table that’s seen its fair share of rock ‘n’ roll antics . The staff are friendly, the beer selection is solid, and the outdoor seating is perfect for people-watching. Even after reopening post-Covid, it’s retained its soul—no small feat in a city losing its indie pubs to gentrification .
If you want a proper London boozer with stories to tell, The Good Mixer is it. Pray it stays forever—we need more places like this. A must-visit! 🎸🍻

My best mate came from Belfast and wanted to go to the pubs Amy Winehouse frequented and this was the best one! Friendly staff and customers, amazing music and they had a pool table! Will definitely go back to try the food!

I don’t think 🤔 the food here is particularly good so I don’t order anything, however the beer 🍻 selection and prices can’t be beat. This location is very busy and offers both a large indoor and outdoor seating area.
The staff are generally helpful, although on this occasion I had an unusual experience. The evening before I had been drinking Shipyard American Pale Ale at their Southgate location. I enjoyed the pint so I decided to order the same beer here. The beer poured here was completely different. I pointed this discrepancy out to the staff and my observation was met with disregard. The pint I had been given had a beautiful creamy head, much like Worthington’s whose tap was beside Shipyard’s. No one entertained the idea that maybe 🤔 the lines had been crossed.
I didn’t really care because my pint was delicious and that was enough for me to dismiss the staff’s dismissive attitude 😁

Popped to The Ice Wharf for a drink, large pub on the riverside opposite the Camden Food market.
There are three seating area outside, smoking, non smoking and covered area.
I used the app and the drinks were delivered in timely manner.
The staff were very friendly and were clearing tables quickly.
Very good prices as at all venues.

This was a superb pub to visit on the night, with a stylish and bright counter! The separators are nice between seating areas and design carries a smoothness, tube map related to drinking is a fun addition itself. I had a pint of Angelo Poretti and Stowford Press, appreciating the comfortable and very clean table!

Huge, busy, noisy...well it was Saturday evening in the middle of Camden Market on a warm, sunny day. The market itself was heaving with thousands of visitors, many making their way to the canalside pub for refreshments. I was in a small party of 7 and the queue at the bar was roughly 3 deep, but the wait wasn't long, considering. Prices are average for London and 'Spoons, whether you like them or loathe them, are always busy. Great range of beers, wines, cocktails and low alcohol and alcohol free drinks. Large outdoor patio area, which overlooks the Regent Canal made it a lively pub...can't fault them really...🥰

Visited at 3:15pm on a rainy Sunday. Very spacious and plenty of seats. I sat myself as could see the staff were busy, they spotted me and promptly came over to take my order.
Food came out quickly and was tasty, really like the texture of the new vegan chicken. I do think the portions have gotten smaller 😅
V handy to pay via QR code. Loos were clean.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at Wagamama in Camden—2 adults and 3 kids. The kids really enjoyed their ramen, and the prawn chilli ramen was fresh and delicious. Only thing we missed were the eggs that used to come with the ramen on the old menu. Starters were also very good. Great spot for a relaxed family meal!

Update: a couple hours later I got very sick- all the food erupted from my body. I was sick for 2 days, a nightmare.
I have a gluten allergy (celiac) and there is a separate menu for gf and the manager took my order and the food took longer to come out, which is fine for me. I’m glad they are careful and following allergen protocols.
My husband enjoyed his teriyaki soba. It’s good amount of food for the price. It’s not tasting like when he lived in Japan, but that’s to be expected.
I didn’t want a rice dish since I eat rice at home, so I chose one of the noodle dishes on the gf menu- shrimp and chicken pad Thai. It was good.
We liked the hot green tea.
The restaurant is very loud. The bathrooms could be cleaner.

It was nice and clean, the service was decent, the bao buns we had were amazing, the ramen was pretty good, it wasnt "slurp the rest of the broth" good but the noodles etc were good! The gyozas were pretty flavourless, but the cherry blossom lemonade was great!
The noodles were big portions in my opinion so wasnt too bad for the price.
Thea Erichsen - 6 months ago
The person that served me was not the person that was supposed to be my server (name written on my place mat). I hope the tip I left went to the person that actually took care of me. Also, since we have to pay using a QR code, maybe include a way to order ourselves as well.
But, no hot sake and they used spaghetti in the “ramen”. As a regular ramen eater, I was so disappointed. Ramen noodles taste completely different to angel hair pasta, not sure how it was an acceptable replacement.
While it was ok, I won’t return for ramen.

Really loved my experience here!
The service is top notch, the place itself is cozy, not much hustle to get a table and the food is really really good, it really keeps the flavors of the authentic Indian food!
The garlic naan was delicious and the chicken tikka masala was soooooo goood!!! Sadly I couldn’t try the chai since they don’t prepare it with alternative milks!
And if you let know the staff about your allergies or food restrictions they will really take care of you!
Definitely going to try it again!

Food was lovely, although there’s too much on the menu so it’s hard to decide. However, the waiter gave his recommendations and it ended up being very tasty.
My friend was vegetarian and gluten free, which the choice is very good.
The only issue with the place was the hand dryer in the toilet not working. (Would be a 5* otherwise)

Lovely place and staff … my friends enjoyed their dishes with paneer however I didn’t expect the chicken korma to be the worst I’ve ever tasted. It tasted nothing like a chicken korma and was so sweet which just tasted sugary without substance and gave me a terrible headache for 2 days due to my cutting out sugar for the past two months. For the price and in order to live up to their reviews they should do better at maintaining integrity on original food the reviews speak of.
