Went for the Billy Nomates gig in October '25. The venue's good. Was able to see most of the stage even though I'm not that tall and was about a third of the way back to the side. Sound quality was pretty good (maybe could've used a slight reduction in the bass). Plenty of options at the bars, and the number of bar staff was better than normal for a venue this size. Good transport links too.

Used to frequent here for the club nights back in the day and it hasn't changed much. Decent music venue and I saw a couple of bands here recently.
Large dance area, good sound system, plenty of viewpoints. Bar is set away from the stage which helps.
Merch desk.
Queue in was dealt with pretty efficiently.
Choice of beers and spirits on tap.
Toilets weren't bad, lots of space inside.
Can't complain. Always a fun place.

Went for a gig. Venue is really cool. I don't live in London, but it gave me rock bar vibes, even though the style of it is a little grand. Best thing I can say is the sound system was top notch, even with booming discordant base, and choppy guitar riffs. Would definitely go back for a drink or another gig.

I love this venue! The sound is excellent and due to the size there has always been a good atmosphere when I've been to this venue.
There are a number of bars and the service was good.
If you get an opportunity to see a band here get those tickets booked!

I love this venue. It’s got a lot of history and is small enough to feel a little bit intimate in comparison to the bigger venues. It has hardly changed a bit for years, apart from being a bit spruced up over the years. It’s in the heart of Camden so there’s always somewhere to go after the gig and the people that go here are great. It’s a good crack and one of my favourite venues. ‘Ave it!

The Blues Kitchen is an amazing spot if you’re looking for great food, fantastic live music and a lively atmosphere in London. One of the good parts is that you don’t need a reservation in advance, and there’s plenty of parking available nearby. The live performances are excellent, with really good music that sets the vibe for the night, the drinks are great, and the service is friendly and efficient. Prices are relatively reasonable for London, especially for the quality offered. The lighting is good and perfect for enjoying the atmosphere, and the location is excellent, making it an ideal place to experience London’s nightlife in a relaxed and fun way. Me and my friends loved it. You can go by yourself or with friends, since it has plenty of space.

My daughters brought me here for the first time. One is a very frequent visitor. She loves coming here. Well the food was superb and the service was very very good. The waitress serving us was very attentive and went so far as to helping with the allergy list and remembering later that my daughter has allergy. She went and checked to make sure she could eat what she wanted. Excellent. I really appreciated that.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars — A fantastic night out!
We had an evening meal with drinks at The Blues Restaurant & Bar in Camden, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. We were greeted by Don, who I believe is the maître d’ or the main host at the front door. He was incredibly polite, warm and genuinely thoughtful. At one point, when we stepped away to check out the dancefloor, he even made sure our glasses were covered—something most people wouldn’t think of, but it showed how considerate he was.
Our server Mia was also extremely polite, friendly, and attentive. Another young lady (whose name we didn’t catch) looked after us as well—she was an Oriental girl wearing amazing Stradivarius jeans, which we couldn’t help but notice! She was just as helpful and lovely.
Despite the place being completely full, the entire team worked so hard and handled everything with a smile. The music, the vibe, the crowd, and the atmosphere were all spot on. The soundtracks were brilliant and gave the whole place an energy that’s honestly a breath of fresh air.
We’ll definitely be back for another night out. Highly recommend!

Lovely place especially for Wednesday nights blues! The singer is phenomenal. Bar is ALWAYS so friendly. They keep the area clean and the bathrooms are clean as well.
All cocktails are 6 GBP on Wednesdays (last November 2024, they were 5 GBP) but still a great deal. I recommend the plum margaritas!

Quite affordable! Lunch for tenner! Live music every night. I got the grilled prawn sandwich delicious (£15), also tried the buffalo wings (intense flavour haha), the chicken burger looked delicious as well! Halal chicken! And if requested, they can cook it separately from all other meats.

Unforgettable Night at The Jazz Cafe!
I absolutely loved it at The Jazz Cafe! My hubby and I booked a table in the restaurant, super easy to do, for the 6th of November to celebrate our 38th anniversary (the day we first met 💕).
We started with the chicken wings and prawn dumplings, both delicious, but honestly, I was too excited to eat much more because we also had tickets for the House Orchestra. And wow… what a night! We ate, we danced, and we just soaked up the incredible vibe together.
The atmosphere was electric, buzzing crowd, live music, dimmed lights, it honestly felt like stepping into a smoky basement jazz club straight out of a movie. We popped some champagne and partied till late, celebrating another anniversary that will definitely go down in history.
A massive shoutout to our waiter, Tom, he was so attentive and really made our night extra special. 💫
If you love house music played live by a band, there’s honestly no better place to experience it than The Jazz Cafe. Can’t wait to go back! 🎷🎶

Awesome venue with great pubs close by. Fortunate to see Newcleus here recently. Friendly staff and quality sound system.
Always good acts here so keep an eye out of what’s coming up.

Great venue with bar and fairly small standing area downstairs so you’re never too far from the stage. Seating upstairs which you need to book and have a meal. Good view with slightly higher - and cheaper - tables (bar stools) a bit further back. Food was good although fairly small portions. Staff friendly and a good mixture of music across different nights. Overall an intimate venue with a great atmosphere- a really good night out. Thankfully very close to Camden Town tube station.

Wonderful experience at this extraordinary venue. First time visiting to meet excellent Ayo, the stage name of Joy Olasunmibo Ogunmakin who is the singer and song writer. The venue had to offer an intimate atmosphere and very good acoustics. My guests and I had a lovely dinner at upstairs sitting area, the bar was well-served and staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. I definitely plan to come again.

An Absolutely Authentic Spanish Gem in Camden
We had a fantastic evening meal at Jamon Jamon last night. From start to finish, the experience was brilliant.
We were warmly greeted by the manager, Isabel, who was polite, kind, and incredibly helpful. She guided us through the menu, offering great advice on choosing tapas and main dishes.
We tried a selection of dishes: the Pan con Tomate, prawns with garlic and chilli, prawns in white wine and chilli, and cod pieces in batter with aioli. Every single plate was delicious, full of flavour, and felt genuinely authentic. Having recently returned from Spain, I can honestly say the food here was not just a match, but in some cases even better than what we had there. The jamon, in particular, was exceptional.
We finished with the almond cake, which was the perfect sweet end to the meal.
The portion sizes are generous, offering really good value for money. The whole experience was so positive that we will definitely be coming back. If you're looking for true Spanish flavours in London, look no further! Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic experience at Jamon Jamon Camden! The tapas were delicious, the chorizo and chicken paella was perfectly cooked. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and a special mention to the new manager, Isa, who gave us great recommendations and made us feel at home.
If you love authentic Spanish food with excellent service, this is the place to go!

My interest in visiting this place was because I saw that Amy Winehouse loved to eat there.
That's why I went there and I eat Spanish food (I had already tried Spanish food when I was in Barcelona and Madrid).
So this place is very nice, the atmosphere, the food, the service and the music and it’s close to the bus station, metro, pubs, etc. I love it.

Excellent pub with great music on and fantastic vegan food! LD's Kitchen came up as a recommendation on Insta and I've been wanting to try this food ever since! I'd recommend coming hungry if you're going to try and sample everything like we did, we were defeated but very satisfied!
Plus the pub itself is really cool and the staff are great too!

Large rock/metal bar tucked on a Camden side street with a small music venue upstairs.
Good lively but chilled atmosphere, though the low lighting and loud music can make choosing a drink a bit of a challenge. The staff are great.
The upstairs venue is tiny with a very low stage. So it can be difficult to see much. Sound is fantastic. Limited number of gender neutral toilets, so be prepared to queue.

The Black Heart is a large pub tucked in a side street 30 seconds walk from Camden tube station. It's hidden in plain sight as their signage isn't obvious from the top of the road.
I came with a group of friends because we had heard good things about the Sunday roasts.
We booked a table for 6 and I was a little surprised to find we had a booth table. The 6 of us could just about squeeze in and eat without elbowing each other, but it would have been nice to have extra space.
The food was definitely worth the visit - the tofu pork belly was delicious, with a slightly sweet flavour to it. I enjoyed the crackling and vegan Yorkshire pudding which are so rare to find (even in vegan restaurants). The Yokshire pudding had the perfect mix of crunchy top and squidgy bottom! All the vegetables were cooked and seasoned well and the giant jug of gravy was popular with everyone.
I didn't see a price on the menu so I was pleasantly surprised the roast was £18.
There's a large selection of drinks, including Belgian beers which all looked to be reasonably priced too.
I would definitely come back again!

Amazing place for metalheads and alt people! Although it's close to the underground station there are not many tourists, they have a huge variety of drinks, friendly stuff, great ambience and amazing food (all vegan)! Concerts are in a separate room upstairs so you can enjoy a drink in the bar all the time.

Great little pub, lovely and quiet away from the manic high street. £6 for a Stella which isn’t too bad for London prices. Great music!

It's OK, but just ok. Glum bar staff don't help. Differing prices between rounds also don't help.

Was so good we went there twice in one weekend. Thank you! 🫶💃🏻✨

Great pub, somehow still authentic and I could tell locals still pay it a visit. Incredible, since it's Camden and stone's throw from that dystopian high street.
It has a run down vibe which I love in boozers but at the same time needs a proper work with toilets, they are not nice to use at all. I know, I know, I'm old.
Cool service, those guys are chilled and I bet seen everything. Not that much room to seat thou.
Barely any choice when it comes to non-alkoholic beers, I don’t why that is. It’s London in general.

Wetherspoons in Camden Town is a solid spot for affordable food and drinks in a lively area. The building has a unique character, and there’s plenty of space to sit, both indoors and out. Service is usually quick, even when it's busy. Great selection of beers at reasonable prices. It's not fancy, but it's reliable and perfect for a casual meet-up before exploring Camden Market.

Great pub by the river. I’d never been to The Spoons in Camden, but what a great find. Less than £10 for a round of two drinks, and right by the lock, you can’t go wrong. Charlie was amazing! She was running around like noone’s business clearing tables and all sorts. Her service was top notch. I’m going back there for sure!

I ordered takeaway and when I got home I discovered that an item was missing. We called the restaurant and they were generous enough to bring the missing item to my home along with an extra item free of charge! The food was excellent as well! I ordered the chicken beliram and was delighted to find that it was the perfect level of spicy, despite the fact that I forgot to specify the level of spiciness when I placed the order. The takeaway order was well packed and I thought the interior of the restaurant was warm and inviting, so I plan to take my gf on a date here soon. She recommended this restaurant to me stating that she’s been ordering takeaway from it for awhile now and it’s her favorite Indian restaurant in Camden. I’m inclined to agree with her!

I had given this place a 5 star review 7 years ago. I visited again today after 7 years, it's completely different. Must be new chefs and/ or new owner. We were advised we couldn't have a table that I preferred as it blocked the servers getting through. We were also advised we had to stick to the set menu. I accepted all of this. The next group of people that came in a few minutes later were given the table i had requested AND told quite clearly they had the option of set menu or a la carte? The food was inedible, definitely from frozen. The place is dirty in the public areas, I would be frightened to see the kitchen. I definitely won't return and I don't recommend this place. We spent over £200 for 3 people. Avoid this place

Taramasalata is a MUST — best we’ve ever had. Had the lamb chops and was delicious!
Only thing is it’s a small place so can get cramped and a bit loud. However still a great place to go for special occasions or any occasion really!
