5 Star Rating I'm in London to visit friends, but had a day to myself. Because it was Sunday, I was searching for places that served a Sunday roast. So I walked a few miles to this place, through the pulsating Camden. I ended up in this nice and quiet area, at this extremely cozy place, which was neatly decorated for Christmas, and Christmas music playing, adding to the experience in a good way! At the bar, I was met by this lovely woman who showed me to my table. I need to specifically highlight her, as she showed me what great service is. It didn't take long for my roast and beer to arrive. As I dug in, I just started smiling. The food was so good, packed with flavor, some crunch from the vegetables. The carrot and potatoes were perfectly done. And the beer complimented it all really well. I LOVE doing random things like this, and everyone else going here after me, will not walk away disappointed. Thank you for having me!

5 Star Rating I celebrated my birthday in the private function room upstairs and I had a great time with my friends. Everyone loved the pub, great location, cosy atmosphere and the staff was very nice and accommodating! They even offered me a glass of prosecco and a bottle of wine. Would definitely recommend for a private party!!

5 Star Rating Went for lunch an amazing “ working lunch “ menu £10 a Main or £20 for 3 Starter of fish cakes exquisite, more akin to bistro v pub . Yet the quality of the cooking kept on coming. The cod cooked to perfection, translucent with another amazing sauce full of flavour Dessert also did not disappoint Ignore the negative feedback from muppets who turn up on a Sunday lunchtime at 1pm and can’t believe it’s rammed QED . Give them a chance the chef is amazing

5 Star Rating Better than ever. I can only assume that the pub is under new management. Marked improvement from when I was last there. The pizza was as good as you will get anywhere in London and a great selection of drinks. Clean pub (including toilets) and good lighting. As a photographer I always judge a place by its lighting! Small things like bespoke plates gives it a more homely (vs standardised commercial) feel. A good pub is nothing without friendly staff; and they were lovely. I wonder what the Sunday roasts are like.... must give that a try! My only gripe..... £7.20 for a pint of beer and £4.50 for a lemonade drink left a somewhat bitter taste. I can only assume it's priced according to its location.

5 Star Rating It had been a cold day out on Primrose Hill and I came for a bowl of chips and a pint a Guinness. I was greeted so warmly by the bar staff and kindly shown to the warmest spot in the pub, tucked away in the corner of the stage. I must say the Guinness I had was fantastic and fortunately I was allowed almost three helpings of mayo with my chips - thank goodness! What a great pit stop.

4 Star Rating Very nice pub and decor. Not a traditional English pub but this cannot take away anything from this one. Very friendly staff with a smile. Good food. We had burgers, lamb and chicken. The chicken that I tried was tasty but a bit small in quantity. Nice outdoor area too. I would go back!

5 Star Rating Great pub located neat Primrose Hill and few minute walk from Chalk Farm underground station. Very clean inside and nice seating area, screens for the sports too. We came for the Thursday night pub quiz quiz which was excellently hosted and carried out. The host had lots of character which made the evening. Drinks were great throughout the evening even some of the signature cocktails on offer. Check out my profile for more pub reviews

4 Star Rating Sunday roast but Caribbean style! 🍗 . ⭐️Overall rating: 6/10 🍽️ Recommendation: Pork belly roast 💁‍♂️Service: very friendly and welcoming 💰30pp (roast + drink) 🚇Closest station: Chalk Farm . I'm always up for mixing things up and trying different twists on traditional things. That's why I was pleased to try the new Sunday roast Caribbean style at @Cottons in Camden (they have multiple branches around London). . ➕Interior is very authentic and cute, there is also live music. I would recommend the Pork belly roast as it was cooked perfectly. The jerk chicken was so well seasoned and flavoured, much better than your usual roast chicken 😌 . ➖The downside was the portion size which was on a smaller side, especially the portion of roast potatoes and vegetables. Yorkshire pudding was a bit soggy with the gravy already poured on top and we haven't received any extra gravy (but I guess you could ask for it). Overall the meat was outstanding but the 'traditional' bits of roast were lacking a little bit. . ➕However for the price of £18 it's a very cheap roast (average roast in London is £28-32). So I'd guess money for value is pretty good and it's still something slightly different to try. . They offer pork belly, jerk chicken, lamb shank and vegan nut roast. . 🍗WE TRIED: Pork belly roast Half jerk chicken roast Guinness Punch 🍺 Rum Punch🍹

5 Star Rating We had such a lovely night out with friends. The Crab and Lobster Mac and cheese was AMAZING! 🔥 everything we tried was delicious. My boyfriend thought the portions looked too small when we looked at pictures online, but then with a started and main it was more than enough. I had a delicious vegan mutton(jackfruit) so flavoursome.

The guys bringing round the drinks were fab, literally couldn't fit anymore into the glass if they tried! Rum punch personally was quite heavy and sickly but that's just personal preference. Good value for money.

5 Star Rating We wanted to move tables upstairs because the atmosphere downstairs felt a little bit off to us and the server we asked to help us with this couldn’t have been more accommodating and lovely! The server had glasses, a long blonde ponytail with brunette roots and an undercut, not sure of their name but they were probably the nicest server we’ve ever had at a Nandos (and we come a lot!). The server made sure we had everything we needed and was very attentive. We felt very well looked after and would love to be back soon :)

4 Star Rating Lovely little place with delicious food and friendly service. It drops a star for the eye watering prices… a small burger with NO chops and a beer came to £24! How about £4.99 for the slider and £9.99 for a burger? I was also confused as to why the cheaper Slider was not available when there was no mention of this on the menu? Overall, very nice food but not for those on a budget.

Owner greets and has a nice chat with all the visitors, very personable service. The burger meat is of very high quality and presentation of my truffle oil fries was good. Milkshake was pretty nice too and they serve a peculiar east London beer called E1 Brew Co IPA. Overall great vibe and very clean! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a pick me up in the area! 5 Star Rating We purchased a wowcher for this little gem in chalkfarm. We arrived just as the bar was opening. We was greeted by Andrew, who showed us to our table and immediately offered us a 🍺!! Which was brilliant as we thought we would be having bottomless prosecco!! Turned out we could have bottomless beer!!! Andrew went through what our options were with our wowcher. We decided to order 6 different types so we could share them. I must say these burgers 🍔 were absolutely gorgeous! We also got to pick which sweet we wanted with our afternoon tea. The venue itself was having a face-lift so was a little busy and up the wall. However we wasn't put off by this as we had a look around and spoke to the live music manager. It looks like it's going to be a fabulous place and we are looking forward to returning on our next trip to Camden ❤️

5 Star Rating I recently had the pleasure of dining at Burger UK on Ferdinand Street in Camden, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The star of the show, of course, was their burgers. The Smashed Burger was a true masterpiece, with a perfectly seared patty that was bursting with flavor. The toppings were fresh and complemented the burger wonderfully. I also tried their Chicken Burger, and it was equally impressive – tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. The chicken tenders were a pleasant surprise; crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, they made for a great side dish. The service was top-notch, with the staff being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance was relaxed, making it a great spot for a casual meal with friends or family. I highly recommend Burger UK on Ferdinand Street if you’re in the mood for some mouthwatering burgers in Camden. It’s a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. I’ll definitely be returning for more burger bliss!

3 Star Rating Smash burgers were absolutely delicious! I would love to go back and try even more of them.. The biggest fault with this restaurant is the very slow and disoriented service.. it took around 20 minutes for me to get a burger as the guy at the grill was only cooking a few patties at the time while he had around 10 tickets to go through. I have see a few mistakes burgers been thrown away as well and ultimately got the wrong burger served. A shame as the product is actually really good and at a decent price!

5 Star Rating Today was the first time ever I visited this restaurant. Needless to say the food was amazing so were the staffs. I wasn't intending to leave a comment Just wanted to give a rating they deserve then I saw a girl's review of the restaurant, I saw the whole thing she was just passing by and came in to use the toilet but when the manager denied as it is supposed to be used by customer's only, and then she turned so rude and misbehaved with the staffs in the restaurant. The whole scenario was so disheartening and when I came in to share my experience over here just saw the same girl give a 1 star rating and say the kitchen was not clean. I mean she literally just walked right off the door, didn't even come in had a meal or been to the kitchen area. It's so disgusting. To what extent can a person go to make someone look bad.

(A lot of other places have it pre-mixed already). Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. And I loved the traditional decor of this restaurant! The whole aesthetic of the restaurant. 5 Star Rating Could this be one of the top entirely vegan restaurants in London based solely on taste alone?! In summary: yes! Surreptitiously exposed on a block corner facing a main road to Camden Town, Power Plant is a surprising eatery. It's a classic mix of bar and restaurant, with a little more emphasis on the former than the latter. You'll have the choice of eating al fresco in front of the aforementioned main road, or within the dive bar-like dark ambience of the interior which is punctuated by the occasional plant suited to the establishment's name. As noted with other reviewers it's difficult to know what to do when you arrive: there's no obvious 'please wait here to be seated' signage, and if you're really unlucky the few staff that are available will be busy serving existing customers. But be patient if you can because as already hinted, the food makes up for the shortcoming in experience. Sitting at the table, everything seemed clean. If you're visually sensitive, in the late afternoon and early evening of the summer, sunlight can shine very brightly through the west-facing windows. Without any blinds to block these, choosing where to sit becomes a strategic affair. Nevertheless, when you manage to get the friendly and apologetic waiter's rare attention, you can order. We chose a hummus dish with various sauces and bread to kick off our meal (a fantastic opener with a wide variety of taste experiences), followed by the Jerusalem mixed grill and skinny fries (the mince will blow you away if you're a (former) meat eater). All very well cooked and tantalising on the tastebuds! The savoury dishes were so good in fact, we wanted to see if dessert held up to the same standard - currently this is very limited to a single option: a filo pie with fruit, but it's a very worthy and unique dish that meets the exceptional standard found earlier - not overly sweet but very satisfying with a range of textures. What soon becomes clear is that Power Plant has a really talented chef - he even came out of the kitchen to gauge our opinion of the food - always a good sign of a chef that cares. We returned our opinions with big smiles. Overall, a fantastic food experience despite the minor hiccups with the earlier part of the customer journey. I'll be sure to return to try their brunch. Nevertheless, I can already see this restaurant launching into the top three vegan restaurant experiences in London thanks to its stellar fare. A credit to the culinary potential of vegan food everywhere, Power Plant comes highly recommended! ⭐

2 Star Rating very small portions, 13£ for 10 raviolis has to be a joke, 15£ for 3 slices of aubergine IS a joke, waited 20min for drinks and another 20min for food, not good value for the price. we paid 63£ for this amount of food with a single cocktail. servers looked like they were doing their best but obviously understaffed. not a vibe.

4 Star Rating Second time here for dinner. The atmosphere is great, I love the venue! There was a live DJ when we arrived. The staff are super friendly but when I got there, it was not clear where to go to get seated. Everyone at the bar was busy and not paying attention. Other people arrived and were just standing around too! I called a waiter who was running around with drinks after a few minutes of this. They were super friendly after that, it would be great if someone could keep an eye on that to make sure customers don't feel lost or get the sense that staff are rude which is not then case. We took a while to order, and sadly 2 of the 3 items they had ran out of. Telling us about the items unavailable would have been a great place to start! The food that arrived was really good! We had the Jerusalem mixed grill, best dish, the "lamb" was great, the vegetables and pitta were delicious, well seasoned 5/5. The mushroom pate was very tasty, good texture and flavours. The apricot jam was pleasant and mild, good combination as well with the pickled mushrooms on top. Could have come with more bread, we literally had to spoon the pate into our mouths (which I'm not too bothered about). The last dish, the smoked aubergine was average. Very smokey, the best were the sauces with it. It would probably taste better on some bread too! Overall, pleasant experience, there are definitely some dishes id like to come back for (hopefully they have them !)

2 Star Rating Tiny portions and terrible service. They lost our booking. We ordered 3 mains, 2 came and those people had finished before the 3rd arrived. We had to ask where it was. They'd clearly forgotten because it turned up more than 10 minutes after we'd reminded them. Waiter didn't bring cutlery for the 3rd person so having been made to wait for their food they then had to get.his attention again to get some cutelry. And the portions are tiny (we all chose the ravioli). We left hungry and annoyed. It's a shame because the quality of the food is great and the atmosphere is nice. This was 6pm on a Wednesday so not exactly a busy time. It was maybe a little over half full.
