Few days ago, I had a pleasure dining at The Lansdowne Pub.
Delicious food and amazing atmosphere 😃
As long as I entered the welcoming female team member led me to the table.
I ordered fresh pint of beer and some little starters:
Spicy coliflower soup was super yummy -), There cheese macaroni ( the best I ever tried so far!!! ), pardon peppers with sea salt and Quatro Stragioni Pizza also very delicious!
What truely made my experience outstanding, however was the exceptional service provided by ⭐Karolina ⭐, kind, attentive, and full of great recommendations💯
She checked on me regularly to ensure that I was enjoying my meal and had everything needed.
Also the rest of the staff was great!
I highly recommend this pub for dinning and looking forward to returning when next time I will be in London🙏⭐😃

I hosted/organised a end of season awards for 50 people on Saturday 31st in the private function room upstairs. Despite it being a extremely hot day the room worked perfectly and the Lansdowne team are fantastic! Big shout out to Issac who ran the bar for the function room and helped with the setup.
The buffet food which I initially thought quite expensive was totally worth it, high quality and lots to go around! It had great praise from everyone who attended. Big compliments to the chefs and staff getting it all laid out.
With the weather being so good a large part of the evening was spent outside and amongst a fantastic atmosphere. Will be coming back for similar events and could not recommend enough to anyone in the area!
Thanks to all the team on the night for putting up with us!

Above the average British pub in terms of food. Many tables outside for those fee sunny days.
We chose to eat the chicken sharer and everything tasted great.
Sweet ports potato fries and humus were excellent.
We also had a Caesar salad with anchovies.
Service was fast and everyone very polite and always responsive to our requests.
I would definitely go back.

Last Saturday, we celebrated my partner's 30th birthday at The Lansdowne and hired their function room. We could not have asked for better. The room with its own bar was perfect and at the price we paid it represented amazing value. We had some questions beforehand and I received two updates from Victor who called to make sure if there was anything else they could do for us. Special mention also to Isaac who really looked after our guests throughout the night. Should you wish to book a pub for a special event, I couldn't recommend the Lansdowne highly enough.

I'm in London to visit friends, but had a day to myself. Because it was Sunday, I was searching for places that served a Sunday roast. So I walked a few miles to this place, through the pulsating Camden. I ended up in this nice and quiet area, at this extremely cozy place, which was neatly decorated for Christmas, and Christmas music playing, adding to the experience in a good way! At the bar, I was met by this lovely woman who showed me to my table. I need to specifically highlight her, as she showed me what great service is.
It didn't take long for my roast and beer to arrive. As I dug in, I just started smiling. The food was so good, packed with flavor, some crunch from the vegetables. The carrot and potatoes were perfectly done. And the beer complimented it all really well.
I LOVE doing random things like this, and everyone else going here after me, will not walk away disappointed. Thank you for having me!

A long weekend in London. A perfect stroll through Regents Park and Primrose Hill. And perfectly placed in this enchanting district was this pub. Bianca was very friendly and my Hobgoblin ale ( or two ) was delicious as was the Aperol Spritz. Lovely beer garden bathed in glorious sunshine and we had a couple of snack bites. Pork belly was a bit tough but food was nice overall. Lovely location stop off before continuing along Regents canal to Granary Square and Coal Drops Yard…we just love London….

We popped in to watch the football FA Cup semi-final on Saturday before the marathon the pub was really welcoming and all the team were great. Good range of beers on tap and the sports viewing was really good. Ordered some food which was all lovely superb choice for some nibbles while watching sport would definitely recommend.

The Pembroke Castle (Primrose Hill) – A Perfect London Pub Experience
As a first-time visitor to London from the U.S., I was looking for an authentic pub experience, and The Pembroke Castle exceeded all expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed into a warm and lively atmosphere that perfectly captured the charm of a traditional British pub.
The service was outstanding, and a special shout-out goes to Anna, the Aussie bartender who made the night even more memorable. She was friendly, attentive, and went out of her way to make me feel at home—so much so that she insisted I didn’t need to leave a tip, which caught me off guard as I wasn’t aware of the differences in tipping culture here. Her honesty and hospitality were refreshing, and it’s clear she takes pride in making sure every guest has a great time.
The food was equally impressive—classic pub fare done right. Everything from the fish and chips to the ales was top-notch, making for an authentic and satisfying meal.
If you’re looking for a pub in London that delivers on atmosphere, service, and quality, The Pembroke Castle is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

Lovely, Cosy place for Amazing Carrabian Food and Rum based cocktails. They have; Happy hour/deals, offer Halal and Vegetarian options, and the cocktails are very good.
Alex, The Bar manager, is very experienced and can offer you off the menu items if available, so don't be afraid to ask. The Music and vibe is on point, feels like your at a raggee fest ever time you go in. I recommend the Meat platter or Curry Mutton, whixh i got on this occasion. Very tender meat and the rice was well cooked. The Rum punch is what most people go to drink, so its a must try. Overall one of the best Carriabian joints in Camden

They were always round to fill up our drinks which was a selection of rum punch or prosecco, we did not go short!! The food was also unreal, everyone thoroughly enjoyed there meals and we definitely were all full up by the end! Such a good vibe and great fun! thank you

We had a lovely lunch for Mothers day! Service was impeccable and food was outstanding. We were looked after so well. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the fact that the Sunday lunch offering was stopped because of mother's day. I think it was a shame really as people would like to have enjoyed this on Mothers day and you are sort of losing out on the fact that traditionally a Sunday roast on mother's day is the go to. At the very least perhaps a mother's day themed menu? In any case, the food was amazing and service was brilliant

From the moment I walked in, I was looked after with recommendations for food and drink. Big shout out to Clayton, but all the staff were great.
I decided on the meat platter with sides of plantain and mango salad, and I wasn't disappointed. The rice and peas needed a little scoth bonnet pepper sauce just to give it a little 'umph'. The meat platter was really tasty with a nice chilli hit underneath. The plantain was super sweet, and the mango salad was loaded with pieces of mango. It was plenty of food!
5pm to 7pm is 2-for-1 cocktails - I went with the rum punch as that is what everyone else seemed to be on.
The atmosphere was great, music was in the background so you could hear each person talking and there was cross table chit chat too.
The menu caters for meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans.
Toilets were downstairs, and most of the tables were up a small flight of stairs, which may impact people with poor mobility.
If I'm back in the area, I would definitely go again.

This carbon neutral restaurant featuring food inspired by Mozambique was DELICIOUS. It tasted so fresh and was delicious. We ordered every appetizer and they were all excellent. Our very favorite was the sweet potato fries followed by the hummus. I got the chicken thighs and they were perfection!

A Consistently Great Experience at Nando’s Chalk Farm
Nando’s has been like a second home to me over the years, providing healthy, wholesome food with a level of consistency that’s hard to find elsewhere. Stepping into the restaurant always feels like entering a different world—the Afro-Portuguese decor and warm atmosphere set the stage for a great dining experience every time.
I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, and I can confidently say I’ve never been disappointed. Their commitment to staying true to their signature flavors while occasionally introducing new, exciting items keeps things fresh without losing the essence of what makes Nando’s special. The chicken, the sauces, the friendly staff, and the inviting ambiance all come together to create a dining experience that always delivers.
A special thank you to Nando’s Chalk Farm for years of great food and service! My only small gripe is that the prices have crept up over time, but given the quality and experience, it’s still a place I’ll keep coming back to.

So, I desided to go for two small Burgers instead of a normal sized one since that's that whole premise of the place, but I would recommend getting a normal as the potion is very small.
Went with a Puerto Rica style chicken burger and a bacon and cheese cheeseburger ect. Over all decent place to get a premium style burger for a date night ect. Fries were really good and morish.
Service was amazing and the manger/(owner?) Was very welcoming and hospitable. Very good vibes.
Again, only issue is the portion size for the sliders as people may be disappointed in them as 1 bite each and there gone.
Decent pints avaible to

Lovely little place with delicious food and friendly service. It drops a star for the eye watering prices… a small burger with NO chops and a beer came to £24! How about £4.99 for the slider and £9.99 for a burger? I was also confused as to why the cheaper Slider was not available when there was no mention of this on the menu? Overall, very nice food but not for those on a budget.

Really awesome place.
Staff came to greet and are very talkative and facilitating.
Ensured I have been served well and went the extra mile to make sure I was having a great meal. Owner greets and has a nice chat with all the visitors, very personable service.
The burger meat is of very high quality and presentation of my truffle oil fries was good. Milkshake was pretty nice too and they serve a peculiar east London beer called E1 Brew Co IPA.
Overall great vibe and very clean! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a pick me up in the area! Better than all the chains and personable service is always the key to building communities.
Very impressed and will be visiting again for afternoon tea!

We purchased a wowcher for this little gem in chalkfarm. We arrived just as the bar was opening. We was greeted by Andrew, who showed us to our table and immediately offered us a 🍺!! Which was brilliant as we thought we would be having bottomless prosecco!! Turned out we could have bottomless beer!!! Andrew went through what our options were with our wowcher. We decided to order 6 different types so we could share them. I must say these burgers 🍔 were absolutely gorgeous! We also got to pick which sweet we wanted with our afternoon tea. The venue itself was having a face-lift so was a little busy and up the wall. However we wasn't put off by this as we had a look around and spoke to the live music manager. It looks like it's going to be a fabulous place and we are looking forward to returning on our next trip to Camden ❤️

I only popped in for a pint before a gig. Nice & clean. It was early on, so it was quiet. The beer was good but & few had run out on tap. All in all now bad for a chat & a pint before a gig at the Roundhouse.

Visited Buk Camden and it did not disappoint! We ordered the Pulled Brisket Burger and the House Special, paired with Truffle Fries—and everything was absolutely amazing.
The truffle fries were a real highlight, crispy, aromatic, and not overpowering. A great side that complemented the mains perfectly.
The place itself is super cozy with dim lighting, greenery, and a relaxed vibe—perfect for a chill meal out. Great portions, top-quality food, and definitely worth the money.
Highly recommend if you're in Camden and looking for a proper meal that hits the spot!

So glad we finally decided to come here! Genuinely the best burger and fries I’ve had in London. The wings were a bit too saucy, but flavour was great so would get the plain or teriyaki next time. Definitely replacing my local honest burgers

After hearing glowing recommendations from my family, who have been frequenting this place for the past five years, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, my visit today left me feeling quite disappointed.
The burgers were overly salty, the chips were average at best, and the prices were steep for what was offered. While the food was decent enough to eat and the service was good, the quality didn’t justify the high cost. If the prices were more reasonable, it could be considered a decent spot for a meal.
My family, who have always loved this place, even gave feedback to the staff, noting that the standards have noticeably dropped. What was once a favorite spot in Camden now feels like it has lost its charm. Sadly, it’s nothing special anymore.

A fairly decent Thai restaurant. The food is certainly a westernised version of Thai food reminiscent of many Thai restaurants up and down the country and often attached to pubs. Menu has a wide variety of dishes. Service from the young waitress seemed a little haphazard, bringing out the wrong dish and saying ‘but this is what you ordered’ but eventually bringing us the correct dish.

I used to be a big fan of Bodean’s, especially the Soho branch, which I remember serving juicy, flavour-packed BBQ with great service. So when I happened to spot a new Bodean’s in Chalk Farm – ironically where a vegetarian restaurant once was – I thought I’d give it a try, especially as I was feeling a little peckish.
The interior is quite nice – not too dark or overly American-themed like the Soho location – and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful.
Sadly, that’s where the positives end. I ordered the pulled pork and burnt ends, a combination I’ve loved before. Back then, the pork was moist and the burnt ends had just the right crisp char on the outside while staying tender inside.
This time, however, was a completely different story. The pulled pork was painfully dry – like shredded wood chips – and the so-called burnt ends were nothing of the sort: just tough, dry cubes of meat drowned in BBQ sauce. To make things worse, the whole dish was lukewarm at best. I noticed the woman at the next table actually sent her food back, saying it was completely cold – which mirrored my experience too.
On top of that, the portion was noticeably smaller than what I remember from past visits. Given how disappointing the food was, I wasn’t too upset about eating less – but it’s still worth noting for those expecting the hearty BBQ plates Bodean’s was once known for.
These days, London has so many excellent BBQ options, and if this is where Bodean’s quality now stands, I won’t be rushing back. A real shame.

Visiting from the States, I usually go to the Bodean’s at tower hill but wanted to give this location a try, as it sits outside my hotel.
The ribs were smoky, juicy, and packed with flavor, easily falling off the bone. The beef was rich and melt-in-your-mouth tender, seasoned just perfect. The fries were also just the right amount of crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, a perfect complement to the savory meats. The homemade barbecue sauce was delicious, tying the whole meal together beautifully. The presentation was inviting and the service top notch. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and the experience here. I highly recommend this joint to anyone looking for a good old fashioned American bbq.

We went to Bodeans chalk farm during the happy hour and ordered Margaritas and gin Ricky cocktails which were amazing but then there comes the star, we ordered chicken thigh dinner and the ribs to eat and honestly we have been to too many barbecue restaurants in London but the way this food hit the spot we don’t think any other bbq food has done that, so cheers 🍻 to Bodeans for delivering such great authentic bbq food to us here in Camden and we highly recommend this place to all the meat lovers, surely coming back for more!!!

Went to Bodean’s for breakfast and had the pancakes, they were honestly sooo good! Super fluffy, just the right amount of sweetness combined with the bacon and they came out nice and warm. The place had a chill vibe and the service was quick too. Would definitely go back again just for those pancakes 🥞

I’ve been to different Bodean’s over the years and this was my first time in the Chalk Farm branch. Although it’s a beautiful cool place food was quite disappointed as it wasn’t fresh. We asked for baby ribs but they weren’t made fresh, which is upsetting as we got there at 6pm on a Sunday and there was no one else. Service was correct and cocktail was great, food, never again.
