5 Star Rating The most loveliest place I've been to. We booked on the day for a table and was greeted and taken to our seats. We had an amazing server who came and chatted. She was the highlight of the day! If you ever go to The Ivy just talk to the servers and chat to them. The downside was I went to the men's toilets and as I cupped my hands for the soap dispenser, it squirted up and onto my glasses and hair. White soap doesn't look good smeared on glasses after coming out of a bathroom. Although you may feel the prices are steep because of the location it isn't. I'd say it's on par with usual London prices. The service was amazing and the food was quick. Sheppard's Pie was delicious and although you have to wait 14 mins (a joke we had with our server), it's worth it for the experience. Really can't wait to go back. Really lovely.

4 Star Rating Well it is The Ivy! Nice old decor and amazing ladies bathroom! Went for lunch and they have a great lunch menu for 2 courses for £19 and add £5 if you still have room for dessert. Great choices for the lunch menu. We had the squid and bang bang chicken salad starters which were all very good. For main we all had the shepherds pie which was delicious! Served with gravy. Ordered a couple of sides, creamed spinach and green beans with almonds. Dessert was frozen berries with sorbet and creme brulee which was delicious!! Lovely ambiance and good service. Highly recommend it for lunch! Be sure to make a reservation though.

5 Star Rating Fantastic experience at The Ivy! After 2 other restaurants refused to find us a spot cause they were too busy, The Ivy did everything possible to accommodate us - that’s great hospitality! The place is classy and beautiful, bustling with movement. The service is great, drinks are great and food is great! All around a great experience; definitely recommend and we’ll be back! Recommend the duck salad and the Shepard’s pie!

2 Star Rating I'm very disappointed with this Ivy. I visited an Ivy in Chichester and couldn't have been happier with my experience. This one couldn't have been further from that. From the moment I walked in with my 2 daughters, I was disappointed. I wanted my girls to feel welcomed and special, but they were ignored like they weren't there. They told me they felt unwelcome and uncomfortable when we were sat at the table, which made me sad. The decor inside and out was dull and dark and dreary. The famous bar wasn't lit up. No plants or special decor anywhere I'm sight. Sadly, the food didn't even make up for any of this. We all had the Ivy burger, and it was the most boring burger I've had in a while. My girls said they would have preferred a Wetherspoons burger!! And sadly, I would agree. I spent £135 for lunch for myself and my 2 young daughters, and it just wasn't worth the money. I was excited to give my daughters a special experience and take them for a special lunch while visiting London, but it didn't even come close to special. I do not recommend you visit this Ivy.

5 Star Rating What an amazing experience it is dining at this restaurant! It was my first time at a fine dining restaurant and I absolutely loved it, everything is done so right that you feel like you want to back again and again. We started with some delicious cocktails at the bar while waiting to be seated at our table, when it became available we could enjoy our food. We had delicious bread and butter to start, some cheese suflê and some tempura prawns as starters, cottage pie and the breast chicken with a truffle filling for mains, and as desserts we had the valentines raspberry choux and the coconut sorbet, everything cooked to perfection. The flavours are so well combined, completely different than anything I’ve tried before. The service is 5 stars, didn’t wait too long to get served, all the foods arrived with no time. Our glasses never get empty as someone will refill it while we enjoy the amazing food. There was someone playing a violin so beautifully, what a beautiful way of celebrating the Valentine’s Day! I’ll certainly be back!

4 Star Rating What drives this place is the ambiance in the restaurant- cozy, right amount of loud, old world feel and lively! Ate dinner and had a delicious app - Yorkshire with a meat spread and an onion sauce…Yorkshire could have been a bit hotter but when combined with the spreads it was spectacular! Steak was good - not great because it was a touch on the tough side…there was a bone marrow sauce we ordered that added phenomenal taste! Dessert was a sticky toffee pudding - never tried it before but was amazed as to how well it was prepared with different flavors punching through! Drinks were also quite delicious! All in it was a great dinner!

5 Star Rating So just to know if you don't book in advance you're seated in the bar area. Yeah, you can see into the restaurant but you're not actually part of the party 🤔 But you get the full menu and here we go. Both the starter (Mackerel) and the main dish Steak Diana was fantastic 😍. But wondering how it would be if I was allowed into the restaurant 😁 But then again these guys are in it to win it, great place and enjoyed every part of the experience and the food so much. Happy Xmas and a happy new year everyone 🎉💯

5 Star Rating Exceptional service, the staff here are absolutely brilliant. You are welcomed in to this dimly lit and cosy venue with a smile and you can expect friendly and professional service throughout. Our waitress gave us excellent recommendations of food and wine and they all seem to know the menu very well without the need to oversell anything. They were so accommodating and it feels like they genuinely want you to enjoy your whole experience. Came here with a group of friends and we all had the chefs tasting menu and ordered a couple of additional recommended dishes. All the tapas here is delicious and served to look as good as it tastes. I knocked off a star for my food rating but only because I was left a little disappointed with the dessert! I have such a sweet tooth and the churros on the set menu were a little greasy and not coated evenly or very well with cinnamon and sugar, although the chocolate and the lemony mascarpone they were served with were both delicious. We also ordered a pistachio tiramisu which didnt taste of much at all and so was a bit disappointed with that. Overall though, this is a great date night or group night out! The atmosphere is so nice and cosy and relaxing. The music isnt too loud and every thing is just right. I think it would also be great to hire out the upstairs as it is a nice sized room, with a projector screen available and a separate bar. Also extremely good value for money. The tasting menu was £40pp and there was plenty of food. None of us left hungry! The yellow tail tuna was to die for!

3 Star Rating Great staff as you'd expect in London, you just get a higher level of service. The venue is quaint and has a British London feel to it. It's a great location. Unfortunately the food is not great. We only had a few dishes as we wanted to keep trying dishes as the evening went on. However three dishes in and we wanted to call it a day. The peppers were over salted it was quite overwhelming the amount of salt used. The prawns were just average, unfortunately nothing to distinguish between a restaurant quality dish and something made quickly at home. The potatoes were ok and I would order again. The tiramisu was a real letdown. No flavour, couldn't taste alcohol at all, rubbery and had so much Coco power we had to tip it off to eat it. It was very poor.

5 Star Rating One of the oldest restaurants in central London. The level of service is exceptional. The upstairs bar is ideal to relax while having a classic cocktail in an area surrounded by plants and decorations that make you feel that you are transcending in an other era. The food is typical English food with an emphasis on game and recipes that haven’t changed over a century. I would strongly recommend to visit this place if you get a chance since it’s one of a kind experience.

3 Star Rating 5 out of 10 Great place to go with friend on a night out, as the music and the vibe of the place set the mood for a fun night. I had great expectations as I saw some good reviews and place was full when we arrived. Service is good and quick. However, I am disappointed with the menu and the food. We ordered Nachos as starter and vegetarian tacos as main with plantain as side. The nachos were tasty, a little bit salty but definitely not home made. The vegetarian options were very limited and vegan even worse. Considering the few options I at least expected them to be good, but the vegetarian tacos were simple and nothing special, the rice was surprisingly plain. I loved the plantain though. I consider the place to be expensive considering the size and quality of the food. However we had a £20 discount with the fork that made it worthy. To sum up, I loved the place but food was disappointing. I strongly recommend to review the vegetarian/vegan options of the menu as it can be easily improved and it would make a huge difference.

4 Star Rating My visit to Dishoom in London was an experience filled with flavors, hospitality, and a touch of nostalgia. Despite not having reservations, the wait in line was around 25-30 minutes, but it was well worth it. What stood out to me was their excellent service and thoughtful gesture of complimentary wine for those waiting in line. It’s little touches like these that make a big difference. Once inside, I was impressed by the friendly staff and the organized systems in place. The ambiance and decor added to the overall experience, transporting me to the bustling streets of Bombay. As for the food, everything was incredibly tasty. However, I couldn’t help but feel that the portions were a bit on the smaller side, especially considering the prices. While I understand the concept of quality over quantity, I would have expected a bit more for the price or a slightly cheaper bill for the amount of food received. Overall, Dishoom offers a delightful dining experience with its delicious food, warm hospitality, and inviting ambiance. Despite the minor issue with portion size, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine in London.

5 Star Rating For a restaurant chain this one was by far the best I’ve had - Indian restaurant. The service was excellent. Not too pushy, not too fast but the timing is just right. When the food comes, it’s still very fresh and you can tell that even when this is such a big restaurant, there’s a lot of staff and team members who make it work. I love the location there’s many but I went to the convent garden one and by far the displays and the way they set up the tables. It all works with the flow and it is very welcoming. The food I’ve never gone back to a chain restaurant twice. The food is just superb. Excellent and it was really really tasty. Different touch, different texture, and flavour every time I went. I would go back again if I had a choice, but all of the food that we chose was very delicious.

5 Star Rating Lovely pub with a traditional etched glass interior. Always packed to the gunnels but the staff are very efficient. Grab a spot in the whisky room (snug) and sink a few.

5 Star Rating Really charming pub especially this festive period, delightfully decorated. Lots of different sections but have to order at the main bar, friendly service and good vibe!
