5 Star Rating What an amazing experience it is dining at this restaurant! It was my first time at a fine dining restaurant and I absolutely loved it, everything is done so right that you feel like you want to back again and again. We started with some delicious cocktails at the bar while waiting to be seated at our table, when it became available we could enjoy our food. We had delicious bread and butter to start, some cheese suflê and some tempura prawns as starters, cottage pie and the breast chicken with a truffle filling for mains, and as desserts we had the valentines raspberry choux and the coconut sorbet, everything cooked to perfection. The flavours are so well combined, completely different than anything I’ve tried before. The service is 5 stars, didn’t wait too long to get served, all the foods arrived with no time. Our glasses never get empty as someone will refill it while we enjoy the amazing food. There was someone playing a violin so beautifully, what a beautiful way of celebrating the Valentine’s Day! I’ll certainly be back!

5 Star Rating Fantastic experience at The Ivy! After 2 other restaurants refused to find us a spot cause they were too busy, The Ivy did everything possible to accommodate us - that’s great hospitality! The place is classy and beautiful, bustling with movement. The service is great, drinks are great and food is great! All around a great experience; definitely recommend and we’ll be back! Recommend the duck salad and the Shepard’s pie!

5 Star Rating This was our first trip to The Ivy and it won’t be our last. We booked the “at bar” seating and this was great for people watching and celebrity spotting. The two of use had 3 courses each, couple of sides and 6 drinks between us. Including service it came to £200 The food was amazing, service was efficient yet not pushy. Atmosphere was great, nice buzz about the place, casual dinning. Didn’t feel like we had to dress up. Yet didn’t feel out of place that we were smart. Lovely experience.

5 Star Rating Great food and service and atmosphere at The Ivy West Street. Brilliant location right opposite The Mousetrap, and right on the corner near Shaftesbury Avenue and Charing Cross Road. So near for theatres and shops. The food is amazing a very large portion of Shepherds Pie, really tasty and very reasonablely priced. With a lovely serving of peas and beans. The bread rolls were lovely and warm and great flavour too. The peach Bellini was really delicious, and again very reasonable. The atmosphere is fantastic very busy with lots of people having dinners and drinks and celebrating. Toilets are downstairs and nice decorative staircase. The service was brilliant from the host seeing you to your table to the bar tender behind the bar, to the waitress all very friendly and so helpful. Especially the doorman, he was lovely and friendly and helpful and very nice to talk to. I wish him all the best, he is such a gentleman. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and would definitely visit again.

5 Star Rating Wonderful place to visit on a day out in London, made the whole experience feel very luxurious. Service was generally attentive but it was quite busy so difficult to pay attention to everyone at once. I myself had the scallops and the ravioli which was delicious with the shaved truffles on top, and the scallops were delicious with excellent presentation. They made my mum feel very special on her 60th birthday with a plate of chocolate truffles on the house, and for fairly fine dining, the price was not too exorbitant between 5 people.

4 Star Rating What drives this place is the ambiance in the restaurant- cozy, right amount of loud, old world feel and lively! Ate dinner and had a delicious app - Yorkshire with a meat spread and an onion sauce…Yorkshire could have been a bit hotter but when combined with the spreads it was spectacular! Steak was good - not great because it was a touch on the tough side…there was a bone marrow sauce we ordered that added phenomenal taste! Dessert was a sticky toffee pudding - never tried it before but was amazed as to how well it was prepared with different flavors punching through! Drinks were also quite delicious! All in it was a great dinner!

Appreciated for the arrangements despite I overlooked the closing date for a particular dining voucher I bought online. Great plating, taste delicious and food were served in appropriate portion. 3 Star Rating Great staff as you'd expect in London, you just get a higher level of service. The venue is quaint and has a British London feel to it. It's a great location. Unfortunately the food is not great. We only had a few dishes as we wanted to keep trying dishes as the evening went on. However three dishes in and we wanted to call it a day. The peppers were over salted it was quite overwhelming the amount of salt used. The prawns were just average, unfortunately nothing to distinguish between a restaurant quality dish and something made quickly at home. The potatoes were ok and I would order again. The tiramisu was a real letdown. No flavour, couldn't taste alcohol at all, rubbery and had so much Coco power we had to tip it off to eat it. It was very poor.

5 Star Rating Nice quaint nook in the middle of Covent Garden’s hustle and bustle. The food has elevated classics with a touch of interesting twists. The restaurant delivers on food quality, taste, atmosphere and service. The servers were extremely nice and had a lovely chat with them about the restaurant. They seem to know their stuff as well as the food. The atmosphere is understated yet sophisticated and it feels like a very cozy and intimate restaurant. The music was suited to the place and not too overbearing. The decoration has a nice feel. Best thing about the place is the food though. I recommend the iberico abanico, the jamon croquettes and the fig dessert. The place was also clean with good glasses for drinks and shiny cutlery. Great for dates or catch ups with good friends.

4 Star Rating This is the oldest restaurant in London. It was a very nice place to take the family for Sunday dinner. We had the Roast Rib of Beef for two along with some Potatoes and Yorkshire Pudding. The steak was really nicely cooked and tasked OK. There really was not a lot of meat for what this meal cost. Remember the plate you see in the photo is for two people. The potatoes didn’t have much flavor and I wished I would have ordered the mashed instead. This was my first-time eating Yorkshire Pudding, and I didn’t care for it. My wife said that it was too burnt on the bottom for her liking. Overall, the atmosphere in this place was great, but I’m not sure it was worth the money. One thing that was superb was the service, they really know how to serve guests.

5 Star Rating Officially one of my favourite London restaurants. The old world charm was very elegant. Service was impecable. We went up to the bar until our table was ready and then our waitor came to get us. This is very traditional English food, expertly made. We went for Sunday roast but I had Pheasant instead. The chips and roast potatoes here are the best I have ever had, ever! I see myself sitting on my own at the bar with a drink and chips in the future! 10/10 A big thanks to everyone. This was more than Lunch, it was an experience.

5 Star Rating I went here with my brother last week. I’ve never been but my brother has been here about a dozen times (but not in the last 15 years). We had read that the food was not as good these days, but my brother thought it was as good as he remembered it. He said that it's famous for the steak and kidney pudding, but said the pie is the one to go for. Well, it was easily the best pie I’ve ever had, period. It was indescribably good – tender, juicy, perfect pastry. And a jug of gravy and perfect crunchy fat chips. I’ve thought longingly about that pie several times a day since I went, and I’ll be back at Rules the next time I’m in London.

3 Star Rating Went there for dinner just two of us. Tried couple of award winning cocktails-to be honest dont know how they won it… most of them tasted just like a juice. Chilli rim had a long hair… we stayed 5 mins waiting for someone to pass by, but then just decided to drink a cocktail and hope none of the hair inside. Mexican Espresso martini was barely brown, too watery… I felt like drinking cold americano with hint of alco… not enjoyable. Food: Guacamole is defo home made as it is crushed avo with few roughly chopped tomatoes in… it has no salt, no chilli and no lime juice. Just bland mashed avocado… Tortilla chips not home made. Our bowl was full of broken chips… how do I dip it? Disappointed. King prawn and seabass tacos … batter is so heavy, tasted like eating greasy oil and for sure overfried as the colour. Had to remove batter and eat without. Service: In the menu says “choice of corn/flour tortillas”, but when we ordered-no one asked us what do we prefer and I don’t know which we had…I am sorry if I misunderstood the meaning of it in case you mix maiz and flour together. Tap water bottles needs to be replaced from time to time…or descaled. We finished dinner around 7pm and WC was serviced at 4:30 last time, loo didn’t have toilet roll, one of the toilets was flooded, another door didn’t close at all… just a shame for such a central location to have WC like that. Even tho restaurant wasnt busy and they had army of staff…

3 Star Rating Overall I will three stars - we went as a family of four, there is kids menu which is very reasonably priced. The food quality is okish! Nothing great and does not have any really mexican flavour. The food as little bland which defeats the purpose of going to mexican restaurant. Nachos with beans and cheese - No salsa or guacamole Enchiladas - for vegetarian majority was just peppers inside. I was hoping for it have rice or beans inside too Avocado and quinoa tacos - the portion was big and still missed the real flavours. When asked for salsa was given a spicy sauce little similar to Tabasco. Service was good, the staff was friendly but not a great place if you are looking for an authentic mexican food.

2 Star Rating The food quality is very bad. We tried the tacos al pastor and the meat felt a 100 years old and the way they presented the meat felt like a total let down to something so simple and basic. The fajitas were half decent but nothing warranting the £24 price. The casserole in which they bring the fajitas and tacos are not air tight, so after a while they had hardened up. Unfortunately, won’t recommend going here

My wife and I were on our honeymoon in April 2023 and had been looking forward weeks in advance (we booked one while we were still in Singapore) to this lunch date, after our friend living in London highly recommended this as the most romantic restaurant in London. I am so glad she did! The service was excellent with the perfect level of attention for our table even as they were getting busy. The French-European cuisine was so sumptuous with its high quality ingredients. And the floral arrangements all over with the flower arch was beautiful for couple time and photo taking. Pleasantly surprised the meal was reasonably priced too! Thank you for such a lovely time 🙏🏻 It was a big highlight of our honeymoon!

5 Star Rating For a restaurant chain this one was by far the best I’ve had - Indian restaurant. The service was excellent. Not too pushy, not too fast but the timing is just right. When the food comes, it’s still very fresh and you can tell that even when this is such a big restaurant, there’s a lot of staff and team members who make it work. I love the location there’s many but I went to the convent garden one and by far the displays and the way they set up the tables. It all works with the flow and it is very welcoming. The food I’ve never gone back to a chain restaurant twice. The food is just superb. Excellent and it was really really tasty. Different touch, different texture, and flavour every time I went. I would go back again if I had a choice, but all of the food that we chose was very delicious.

4 Star Rating Two floors of Bombay cuisine galore. Very iconic decor and furniture. The wooden chairs felt very fragile, and squiggly - not sure if that’s part of the Bombay vibe but I will assume not. The music and acoustics made it quite hard to speak across a table. The waiter was very friendly and explained the dishes clearly. He also cleaned the table after our mains. I did feel a bit pushy to add more items to menu - in fact we ended up ordering more than we had appetite for. I would say one small dish and two large dishes is more than enough for two ppl unless you are very hungry.

5 Star Rating OMG these people are amazing. They looked after us so well at our Christmas party. Every single one of them from the security to the DJ to every staff member there. They made sure everyone was having a great time, that we had enough food and drink. The music flowed, the dance floor rocked, the acrobats, just amazing!! I highly recommend this place to any and everyone. Thank you so much again.

5 Star Rating I went to Circus for my birthday about a week ago and had one of the best experience I have had in a long time. The acts were top tier and really engaging, I would definitely recommend sitting at the stage table as all the entertainment can be seen right close and personal and you will have dedicated waiter. The food was absolutely delicious and tasty. My favourite was dumplings for starter and the fish was tasty and well seasoned. Big shout out to the staff Wannapa, Eed, Sergio and Karol who was looking after my table and made my birthday so special. Definitely worth the money!!!

4 Star Rating Nice place but where we were sat the ceiling meant some if the performance was obscured which was disappointing. Food was average. It was be nice as a vegetarian to have something other then mushrooms. The drinks were nice but pricey. Good to experience it at least once.
