5 Star Rating Great location - we walked everywhere to see parks, major landmarks, shopping, dining. Front desk staff is the biggest part of our experience. We arrived early and they helped us multiple times throughout the day. They were friendly and attentive. We took an upgrade on the room and it was quite nice. Breakfast was included and way beyond expectations for what you would get with a free meal. The hotel bar was nice / friendly environment. Overall, it was a great value. We’ll be back.

3 Star Rating First the good: This is a beautiful hotel! The decor and ambiance are great! The restaurant, food and staff are top notch. The location was exactly where we needed to be. Walking distance to the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, and Trafalgar Square and right on the Direct Line and Charing Cross Stations. Now for the not so good: Maybe it was because we came from the US but we were far from impressed but the rooms in this hotel. The rooms were the smallest I’ve ever experienced. My husband and I (6’ & 5’8”) were too long for the bed. There was exactly 8” of space between the bed and the wall to walk to the restroom. It was necessary to walk sideways. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, pillows very warn, and the shower drain was plugged. We did let the housekeepers know however the clog did not get resolved. I don’t think we would stay again.

5 Star Rating Wonderful hotel. Great service, staff also. Restaurant and bar really nice and food and drinks so good. Concierge and customer service the best. I left some sentimental jewelry by accident and they recovered, shipped it to me and were so very nice about it. HONEST people! Location so close to Embankment Station to get just about anywhere easily within a couple of stops. Lots of things to see, places to shop and people watch. Cannot rave about them too much. Will stay there again and highly recommend.

5 Star Rating We were on vacation and we went to Bruges, Amsterdam, and London. This hotel was the one we stayed in and me and my brother both did not want to leave! The rooms were amazing and so was the staff. I wrote them a letter saying how amazing their hotel was and the lady at the front seat gave me a hug so the I could leave happier! I will definitely recommend to anyone who want/is visiting the UK

4 Star Rating We had a very relaxing stay. It was conveniently located near the station and supermarket. The hotel staff were also friendly. However, one thing that was disappointing was that when we returned to the hotel at night, the lady who was walking in front of us was greeted, but we were ignored. It was a sad experience on what should have been a fun trip. Other than that, it was a great hotel.

4 Star Rating I have used this restaurant often. 5 star review for the team. However, two very terrible ladies, both from India have us our first unacceptable Experience on July 7, 2024. The poor treatment we got from the ladies was received from the two bartenders on duty between 12:15-12:20 AM on July 7, 2024. This incident occurred at the Boyd restaurant and bar, which is situated within Club Quarters. As we approached the bar, one of the bartenders, a lady, began shaking her head and smiling while informing us that the bar was closed. This was done in a dismissive manner that felt both unprofessional and disrespectful. To make matters worse, she then proceeded to walk away, leaving her colleague behind who openly laughed at us. I typically refrain from leaving negative reviews, but this experience was particularly upsetting. The dismissive and unprofessional behavior displayed by these two individuals is unacceptable and does not align with the standards I have come to expect from your establishment. Their conduct not only tarnished our evening but also left us with a very negative impression of the restaurant and bar. It is crucial that such staff members do not continue to represent your organization, as their behavior could severely impact the reputation of both the restaurant and the hotel. Based on this experience, I regret to say that I will not be returning to the restaurant, and this incident may also affect my continued patronage of the hotel which houses Boyd.

5 Star Rating Pre-booked a table for lunch, on arrival the sun appeared from behind the clouds. Asked if we could sit on deck rather than in the restaurant (which looked fabulous). Yes, of course, was the reply but it's silver service here or you order at the bar on deck with less choice on the menu. Found a table on deck and enjoyed that rare event recently, the sunshine! The Buxton Pale was delicious and the meal was piping hot served in a box with recyclable utensils. Brilliant.

5 Star Rating The food is lovely and at a more than reasonable price. The service isn’t anything special but very friendly. But the really great thing about the Tattershall Castle is the river view, especially from the lower deck restaurant. How a place with such a good view exists in Central London, just a stone's throw from Parliament, I don’t know. I would say it’s something of a hidden gem.

Prices comparable to other London prices. £21 for 3 drinks. A DJ set starts and it's loud but forgiven because it's 80-90s excellent choice of tracks (Billy Joel, The Boss Springsteen, Dido, etc)

4 Star Rating I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my recent visit to this pub! Occasionally, when I have guests, I include it on my London tour. This time, we stopped for lunch and the traditional British pub food was delicious. Despite its touristy vibe, the service was welcoming, with a good beer selection. Both the Fish & Chips and the Steak and Ale Pie were excellent. It's a great lunch spot for those exploring London's city center.

5 Star Rating When in London, a visit to the Sherlock Holmes Pub is a must for any enthusiast of the iconic detective or anyone looking to soak in a uniquely British experience. Nestled conveniently close to iconic landmarks like Trafalgar Square and the Thames, this pub offers more than just a meal; it's a dive into a Victorian adventure. As you step inside, you're greeted by an ambiance that feels like it's straight out of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's books. The decor is a splendid tribute to Holmes and his adventures, with memorabilia and Victorian-era touches that transport you to another time. The upstairs dining room, aptly named the Sherlock Holmes Museum, is filled with replicas from the detective's sitting room at 221B Baker Street, making it a delightful spot for fans and history buffs alike. The food is a hearty nod to traditional British pub fare with some modern twists. The fish and chips are a standout, boasting perfectly crispy batter and flaky fish, paired excellently with mushy peas and tartar sauce. The ale selection is robust, featuring local brews that Holmes himself would approve of, perhaps with a mysterious smile. The service at Sherlock Holmes Pub is as noteworthy as its atmosphere. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, often ready to share a tale of the pub's storied past or suggest the perfect pint to accompany your meal. Whether you're a die-hard Sherlock fan or just in the mood for a cozy British pub experience, Sherlock Holmes Pub in London is a delightful spot that promises a memorable experience with every visit. Cheers to a meal that's as satisfying as solving a good mystery!

4 Star Rating Today, our family rendezvoused at Sherlock Holmes, and what an unforgettable experience it was! Nestled in a bustling area, this establishment boasts a vibrant ambiance, with a bar and seating on the first floor and additional dining space on the second. Everywhere you look, the place is adorned with captivating pictures and stylish furniture, creating an atmosphere that's both cozy and chic. Our server truly went above and beyond, delivering impeccable service that complemented our delightful meal perfectly. From start to finish, every dish was a culinary masterpiece, leaving us all thoroughly satisfied. One of the highlights of our visit was the thoughtful gesture of receiving a cool mug packed in a box to take back home. It's rare to encounter such genuine hospitality, and this unexpected gift left a lasting impression on us. As Americans visiting from the USA, discovering Sherlock Holmes was a treat, and we couldn't recommend it more highly. Whether you're seeking a casual drink with friends or a memorable dining experience, this place has it all. Do yourself a favor and seek out this gem—you won't be disappointed!

4 Star Rating Nice food in a nice location, although it does get very very busy daily. Make sure to book if you want a table/food! Good for work do's, particularly at Christmas, nice menu choice and options for all dietary requirements. The price is what you'd expect of the area, but I think ti's fair given the food was very nice, as is the decor, decked out in Sherlock Holmes theme.

5 Star Rating Dinner here a number times previously. This time it was election night. Had cocktails in adjacent bar prior to dinner, table for three. Had the dinner three course- great value. Cocktails are very good - standard London hotel price of £20. Dinner was well priced:2 courses for £39 and three for £45. Food was generally above average to good. The green pea volute was very nice as was the lamb cutlet albeit the portion for the lamb was tiny. Desert of strawberry and lemon Millefeuille was good too- beautifully presented. Service was very good . All in all a very pleasant night with good option for food and great cocktails. Previous review: A quiet Wednesday evening for them. Excellent from Start to finish. We had an amazing sommelier called Selina who was engaging and wonderful to talk to about her knowledge of wine. The ceviche starter was good as was the chicken mains .both presented beautifully. Desert of gateau was also very good. Had the most amazing wines- the amarone and the pipparello. Will be back next month when the set dinner menu changes.

5 Star Rating Our meal here was absolutely stunning and the service was phenomenal. We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and did not leave disappointed! We tried the house cured salmon, the ricotta and pine nut ravioli, the pork tenderloin, and the veal, as well as some wine. Everything was exceptional, from the sourdough that came out with an artichoke cream and decadent salted butter, all the way through the mains and the dessert selections offered. There was a small hiccup with the side not arriving with our mains (which wasn’t an issue to begin with.) and our server removed the charge without even being asked. I would return here in a heartbeat and wish to thank all of the staff for making our first meal in London and our wedding anniversary special, and certainly a meal to remember!

4 Star Rating This place is well located. Very nice pub, they have a variety of beers for those who like to taste different things. Is in a very transited area across from Trafalgar Theatre. Definitely is a touristic place. Food is very average, nothing wow or even good. The chicken breast I ordered seemed overcooked. The steak pie is interesting, although the taste wasn’t that good. Something I liked, is that you pick a table, then order and pay from the bar, they will bring your food to the table. You can add the tip amount that you want, since is not required.

4 Star Rating Pizza Express mains are always great, no complaint. The service here needs some improvement; staff don't want to help, don't want to make eye contact, and they seem only concerned with strictly their own tables and, I guess, some kind of commissions system. The wrong order was brought out too, and we had to pay extra due to the waiting staff not understanding our order. Nevertheless, it's Pizza Express, so it's still great.

2 Star Rating Against my better judgement we decided to visit Pizza Hut after a viewing of the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, as pizza seemed appropriate and we hoped to double up on some early 90s nostalgia - back to a time when Pizza Hut dominated the UK pizza scene with it's thick oily bases before better alternatives arrived. We had to queue for a short while surprisingly, it was early in the evening so I assume people were looking for a quick and easy pre-theatre meal. We were unfortunately sat in the gloomy windowless downstairs area, on a tiny table stuck between a till point and a wall adorned with ancient peeling artwork of pizza-themed super heroes. The table was so wobbly we had to put a total of three napkins under to steady it. Waiting staff were fast but impersonal, with ordering done via a QR code and online menu as though we were back in pandemic times. Everything felt geared to turning over tables as quickly as possible. Once we'd ordered the waiter brought glasses for our self-serve drinks and they were absolutely disgusting - covered in fingerprints, smears and lip marks, as though they hadn't been washed in days. I asked for cleaner glasses but the ones we received weren't much better. The infamous salad bar was just as you remember it, tastes have changed but it has not. The produce was of an extremely low quality - browning lettuce, limp cucumber and the blandest tomatoes I've ever tasted - I've had tap water with more flavour. The pizza itself was just as I remembered for better or worse - thick, doughy, oily base and a reasonable amount of cheese and toppings. I found the prices startling, around £30 for a large pizza and £13 for a small, medium no longer an option. The atmosphere was abysmal - the couple behind us were having an extremely unpleasant argument during which he told her to 'sit down or I'll drag you down', not the restaurant's fault - unless the flaccid salad had put them in such a foul mood that they had resorted to verbally busing each other. It's hard to find much to recommend about the the Hut - the pizza was edible but you'd be better off at one of the many other pizza restaurants in the area. Unfortunately as the queue showed there will never be a shortage of tourists and theatre-goers who don't know any better to keep the place churning out overpriced, below average, mass-produced junk food.

5 Star Rating I have been in many of Pizza huts chains but this one is the best, especially the manager called Darun. He was great in service and the welcome atmosphere he has created in the restaurant was amazing

4 Star Rating It's been at least 25 years since last setting foot in a Pizza Hut and I was pleasantly surprised. The general layout of the restaurant with banquet seating was good. Visited late in the evening and the salad bar was looking a bit sorry for itself with a few items missing and low levels on others. Pizza wise, it was pretty good, with enough topping and generally good. The staff were attentive and chatty.

5 Star Rating We just had an amazing experience with the Pizza Hut on the Strand (right opposite Six the musical). As a group of 16 we booked on the phone and were told we would be downstairs. We have our own private section with lots of space and a short walk to the toilets. We had kids meals which included bottomless drinks, bottomless salad, pizza, a side (garlic bread, chips or onion rings) and unlimited ice cream factory. Such great value! Downstairs had its own fully stocked salad bar, drinks machines and ice cream machine making everything super close by! The staff were amazing and so accommodating nothing was too much. Really recommend for groups visiting London!
