5 Star Rating A great hotel for any traveler in London. Its right next to the underground and a Boots! Very convenient. Plenty of taxis hang around the hotel too! The hotel is in great walking distance to many locations! Only place that would be a longer walk is the Tower of London. The hotel was clean and attentive! All the workers were super friendly and kind. The rooms were very clean. Lots of space. Great shower had a lot of amenities. The beds were actually very comfortable. There’s a restaurant in the hotel. There’s also a Starbucks in the hotel. There’s a beautiful main room with the main staircase to lead to the rooms. Only downside the elevators did take a while so we mainly just took the stairs, very accessible and right next to many good restaurants and shops. One thing that was very nice. They offered a lot of snacks and free water in the fridge. They would refill it every day. I felt very safe. The view was fine. It just faced an office the only downside the building that had an office in it would blast the bright lights around midnight so that would get annoying however, their curtains were very good at blacking out lights!

4 Star Rating What an amazing hotel. The history of the hotel is enough to make you stay. However if you need more convincing the refreshments in the mini bar is problem at the top of my list. As a mom of 3 kids we got to the room very late and the kids wanted a nibble and something to drink. It was amazing to open the mini bar and find treats and drinks free!!! Then on arrival we had the nicest slice of chocolate cake and they do this for every room. It’s just wonderful. In a world where greed is the new way of life it’s just wonderful to go to a hotel that offers you more than the other hotels we go to where services have been reduced. The staff are great too. Just one lady at reception made us feel like we were inconveniencing her for doing her job but that didn’t dampen our stay. I wish I could spend a month or two at the hotel and tweet it a little to get it to 5 stars because it’s close enough to being a 5 star establishment. The location is amazing.

5 Star Rating The Clermont made our stay in London perfect! Check in was smooth and friendly. They even offered free welcome drinks for us and a teddy bear for our son. The hotel was more beautiful than its pictures. Our room was ready with our son's pullout already made. Our bed was the biggest bed Ive ever slept in. My wife and I joked we needed to call each other to even talk from one side to the other. The room came stocked with complimentary snacks and beverages that were replenished daily. The hotel bar had excellent drinks. The attached restaurant looked good but we never ate there though as a guest we received 30% off. The staff recommendations for local restaurants were terrific. Many top attractions were in easy walking distance. The Charing Cross underground was below the hotel and the Embankment underground was just down the street. Trafalgar Square was around the corner. The location could not have been better. Look forward to returning again soon!

5 Star Rating Our stay at Clermont was very memorable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent, close to the metro and train, and within a 20-minute walk of many major landmarks. Breakfast was good, though the variety could feel limited during a longer stay. The complimentary minibar, with espresso, soft drinks, and snacks, was a great touch. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room view was not ideal, overlooking another building, but front-facing rooms may be better. Maintaining the room temperature was a bit tricky, though there is AC at least. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in London, with plenty of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and gift shops nearby. Only negative thing to improve could be WiFi which was super slow and youtube pausing so often which was frustrating. In addition, adding footwear in the room would be nice and suggested.

5 Star Rating Beautiful building and interior, in such a great location. Perfect for a catch up with friends or a business meeting over lunch/dinner. Service throughout was good, but not attentive. However, the Italian waiter who served coffee when I first arrived in the bar area, she was brilliant - thank you!

5 Star Rating I was deeply attracted when I came to this restaurant for the first time! The traditional British fish and chips are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The chips are golden and crispy, and the fish is tender and boneless. Dipped in the special sauce, it's extremely delicious. The restaurant is simply and generously decorated, clean and tidy. The waiters are very polite and will clean the table in a timely manner, providing attentive service. It's worth a try!

5 Star Rating If you’re looking for a unique bar/restaurant experience, or looking for an unobstructed view of the London Eye, you should definitely visit. The boat docked on the River Thames gives this place a fun and unique way to enjoy a pint of beer, apps with friends, dinner with loved ones, or a party night out. From land it doesn’t look like a whole lot but once you get on board, it offers so much more. If you’re a tourist walking the streets of London all day, this is a perfect location to get off your feet and grab a cold (or hot in the winter) beverage and relax with a beautiful view of the river and the London Eye.

5 Star Rating Amazing place bordering on 6*. First visit, came for a drink. A pub/restaurant located on a ship (too big for a boat) on the Thames across from the London eye just down from Parliament. We initially sat outside on top of the deck, not knowing they had an inside area but when it started raining heavily we found out they had so we moved inside downstairs. The inside area was huge, very smart and modern. They also have another seating area further downstairs, they also have a function room available to hire out.Great selection of drinks at usual London prices. Service was very helpful and friendly. Food was available but we didn't stay to eat. A definite place to visit, I hope to go again, and with fantastic views it's heard to find fault with anything here.

5 Star Rating This is one pub you definitely have to try when in London. It's basically an old boat converted to a floating pub. The location alone is top shelf, with views of the London Eye and Big Ben right in front of you. You can sit outside on the top deck or inside with views through the portholes. I was surprised it wasn't busier, given the uniqueness of this place. Highly recommend this as a stop for a drink. They serve food too, but we never tried it or saw anyone to comment.

5 Star Rating An unforgettable experience! Dining on this boat restaurant along the Thames was magical — with stunning views of Tower Bridge and the London Eye right from our table. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the service was warm and professional. Watching the city lights reflect on the water as we ate made it truly special. A perfect London evening — highly recommended!

5 Star Rating Popped into The Sherlock Holmes Pub for the vibe, 10/10 atmosphere, but the real surprise was the Komoran Chicken Rice Bowl. Tender chicken in a tangy, gently spicy sauce over perfectly cooked sticky rice; way more flavorful than your standard pub fare. Prices are a touch high (you’re paying for the location and theme), but this bowl felt fresh, hearty, and not as heavy as a burger. If you want something lighter that still hits the spot amid all the classic British dishes, this is a smart pick.

5 Star Rating I can fully understand why The Ship & Shovel is in the Good Beer Guide, it's a cracker. Selling a full range of Badger Beers, this is a welcome change to the many London pubs who sell Timothy Taylor Landlord! You can move between the two bars, yes, you have to see it to believe it. Plenty of seating and on a nice day plenty of outdoor standing area. Food is served but this really is a cracking drinkers pub.

4 Star Rating I randomly walked into this pub in London and ended up having one of the best meals of my recent trip—crispy chicken wings, with a Texas BBQ sauce (if I remember correctly ) and fries that were golden and crunchy. I added a ‘no-jito’ to it too. Honestly, when I walked in there, I had no expectations. I was just a hungry traveller who needed to fill his stomach and I was glad I went there instead. On my next trip to London, I shall pass by.

4 Star Rating An interestingly located place. The food was fairly good. You order at the bar or through an app. A big plus for the free tap water. The staff mainly just bring out the food – more of a delivery role than full service – so it's actually a relief that there's no added service charge.

3 Star Rating I wanted to try Pizza Express as I hadn't been since I was a teen and kids ate free with a adult ordering a main. It was alright overall. We did book ahead so got sat really quickly on a busy night however because it was so busy, service was a bit slow. They were alright at catering for my childs dairy allergy. However, my pizza arrived with hardly any cheese. I was mocked for asking if my son could have pineapple on his pizza (far enough Italian restaurants don't do it but I didn't think Pizza Express counted as an Italian restaurant just thought it sold all sorts food). Also thought that it was silly that the kid's drinks weren't included in the kid's meal deal.

5 Star Rating Pretty satisfied with the Me-Deal. For 22£ you can have unlimited salads which was pretty important for me - get a bunch of veggies and fiber in. Pizzas were both good, warm and properly cooked (farmhouse below and chicken supreme), pan variety maybe a little too small if you're hungry. But pizza + salad makes sure you can leave pretty full for a whole day of touristing.

5 Star Rating We had a team of 14 having a post-meeting meal and I was super impressed throughout. The booking was easy, efficient and was all set up on time for us. There was no requirement to pre-order, as there is in many restaurants in the area, meaning it was really easy for me, as organiser. The staff were incredible; our server was a new-starter, but she knew the menu and she had all of the tools to make her job easy; she was being discreetly supervised during the mains order, with a really friendly manager, who made it look she was just collecting menus, but if you watched closely, she was supporting her new colleague. Our server was attentive, without being overbearing and was really friendly. The food itself was exceptional - the team preparing everything were fast, but with excellent attention to detail. The speed of delivery was as fast as it would've been for a table of 4 and it was very high quality, with everyone being really pleased with their choices. We'll definitely be going back there after future meetings - Thank you Team Zizzi Strand!
