Great location to see downtown London. Staff were great, rooms and room cleaning service was great! Convenient to catch train, tube or train. Lots of restaurants around Hotel. Would highly recommend if visiting London! They even kept our luggage for us on the last day after check out so we could do more site seeing before our flight. Oh yeah the free mini bar and coffee were a nice touch and restocked every day!

Excellent location. We stayed at this hotel for four nights last week and found it extremely convenient for getting around. Most major tourist attractions are within walking distance or just a short trip by metro. It’s located right next to the theatre district and Soho, which is perfect for exploring the city. The room was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is housed in a historic building and is beautifully decorated and well maintained. However, the room itself was quite simple and didn’t feel very warm. There is constant ventilation in the bathroom, which made it even colder, especially when taking a shower. The shower is over a bathtub without a cabin, and the bathroom was always completely flooded after use. Soundproofing was also quite poor. We could constantly hear footsteps from the room above, and the noise was unusual — a creaking sound, as if someone were walking on wooden boards.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location is incredibly central, right next to Charing Cross Station and only a 3-minute walk from Trafalgar Square. It is very close to many of London’s main attractions, which made getting around so easy. The hotel itself is very nice, the breakfast was good, and the team was kind, helpful and welcoming. Our room was clean, comfortable and pleasant. Overall, it was a very convenient and enjoyable stay.

My wife and I stayed at The Clermont London, Charing Cross for three nights last weekend and very much enjoyed our visit. Considering the generally high accommodation prices in central London, the hotel offers very good value for money. Its location is almost unbeatable: right next to Charing Cross Station and within immediate walking distance of Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, the Strand and Piccadilly Circus. Built directly on top of the station, it is also exceptionally well connected by underground and bus. The hotel itself has retained much of its grand, historic charm, which gives it a special atmosphere. The rooms are well equipped, and both service quality and staff friendliness are outstanding. We had stayed here many years ago, when the hotel was still called Amba, and were pleasantly surprised that we were remembered and warmly welcomed again — including a lovely “welcome back” chocolate cake in our room, which was a very thoughtful touch. The restaurant and bar are also highlights: stylish and elegant, with great ambience, attentive service and a classic, refined interior. Of course, when staying in such a central location, one should be aware that rooms facing the front, while offering fantastic views of the Strand, St Martin-in-the-Fields and even parts of Trafalgar Square, are not completely quiet. Rooms at the back are much quieter, though the view is limited to the station’s roof. Overall, we would be very happy to return and can warmly recommend The Clermont London, Charing Cross to anyone looking for a charming, well-located and welcoming hotel in the heart of London.

After a rainy metropolitan shift at Charing Cross, I stopped by The Clermont for a coffee and croissant. So glad I did 🤩 With very few tourists around, it was the perfect place to write a few letters and catch up with a friend. I booked this restaurant for a meal pre theatre. The restaurant is part of the Grand hotel but is striking re the interior design and setting. We were two of only a handful of diners so the service was excellent from start to finish. We decided against the Pre theatre menu and went Al a Carte. A very good decision as the Burrata starter was sublime and probably the nicest Burrata I've ever had. I followed this with the 200g Sirloin accompanied by a pickled onion, onion ring.!! Who knew...delicious. They only give you one, they should make it two or three at least. Yummy. The steak was perfectly cooked and the whole meal was great. Would I visit again. YES.

Had very good pre-theatre menu here last night. Very reasonable and although limited choice of starter, main and dessert they were all excellent - salmon starter, minute steak and cheesecake. It is and impressive high ceiling.dining room inside an hotel. Our waiter was great as well.

We went here yesterday for the pre-theatre menu and it generally wasn't a great experience. From arriving to getting our starter took 35 minutes, and considering the starters were just mushroom parfait and so didn't require cooking, this was a bit long. This then meant that we had barely any time for our mains and I wasn't able to finish mine before I had to run to collect tickets from the theatre. If somewhere offers a pre-theatre menu I do expect them to be able to deliver 2 courses within the 70 minutes that we had available. The food itself was a bit hit and miss. The mushroom parfait was ok if not hugely flavourful, but the focaccia that came with it was really good. My beef dish was great, but my husband's chicken dish was a bit bizarre. The chicken dish was the only main in which you were obviously meant to add a side otherwise you are just eating chicken and 1 piece of lettuce. A bit weird when all the other dishes are complete dishes. In summary, food was fine but nothing special, but the slowness of the service just means that this place is not somewhere you can go pre-theatre (despite the menu) unless you have a full 90-100 minutes available.

We visited here on 23rd May 2026, we stayed for drinks and then food. The atmosphere was amazing, very busy and very lively. The view on deck and below is just amazing. We were sat eating our dinner with a view of the London Eye. The food was served promptly, and was cooked thoroughly and was served hot. The service was brilliant, Khalid (I hope I’ve remembered right) our waiter was so attentive, kind and very polite. The general manager Paul was hard working and also attentive. I couldn’t fault this venue at all and we will look forward to returning.

Fantastic party boat directly opposite the London Eye on Embankment with amazing views of the Thames We booked the onboard comedy club, which was very well organised. We were shown are allocated seats and we're allowed to leave some items there before coming back for the start of the show The main deck has dance floor and DJ. When we arrived there was a saxophone accompaniment that worked really well with with the crowd The security there seem well organised. The staff are very friendly and happy to help. Drinks are expensive, but then you are effectively paying for a prime location and events venue in central London The comedians we saw were hilarious and their engagement with the audience was great! Highly recommended!

The food is amazing. We shared 2 platters between 4 of us and there was lots! The prices were extremely good, especially as you're on a boat, in London! The staff are super friendly. The boat itself it amazing! You can have a view of the London Eye, St Paul's & Big Ben all from one spot! They have a nightclub on the bottom floor, though we didn't attend this, it looked pretty cool from the advertisements.... Whether you're on a date night or in a group, I'd highly recommend visiting. We'll be returning again very soon and will likely visit every time we're in London!

A lovely pub on the water. Even in the rain you can sit under shelter at the rear of boat. Obviously perfect for a summers day. Upper deck you can order drinks at the upper bar but also order food and drink to your upper deck table via the app. Just scan the QR code. The menu for the upper deck is different to the lower deck restaurant. The restaurant is lovely as well with great views of the river and bank through port hole windows. There is movement of the boat but for the most part it is minimal.

First of all, the place has an amazing atmosphere and is located very close to the National Gallery, so fans of Sherlock Holmes will definitely love it. 🕵️‍♂️ The interior and overall vibe make the experience feel very special and cozy. I also noticed that the menu has a great selection of puddings. Personally, I highly recommend the asparagus risotto. It’s vegetarian but still very filling and satisfying. And if you want a perfect snack to go with beer, definitely order the calamari rings with garlic sauce. The sauce was absolutely incredible!

Absolutely loved visiting the Sherlock Holmes Pub in London. We had just finished a visit to the Last Days of Pompeii, and decided to give Sherlock Holmes ago for dinner. We arrived at 4pm on a very busy Friday evening. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and managed to fit us in (a group of 7) for 5pm. So we had a few drinks before going up to our table. To be fair to the staff they did warn us there could be a wait for our food to get to our table. We arrived at our table just after 5pm, and after our order for drinks and food was taken, our meals arrived just before 6pm. The food was very well presented, tasty and reasonably priced for a central London venue. All in all we were very pleased with our visit and Sherlock Holmes is now firmly on our revisit list.

18 days in the UK and this was hands down the best fish and chips I had all trip. My husband love his meal as well- the steak pie and mash. Bartenders were super friendly. And there are two buildings, but the same restaurant- intetestung history if you have a few minutes to research. We really liked this place- you could come for dinner, or come for just drinks.

This is one of the most unique pubs you’ll find in London. It’s famous for being split into two separate buildings on opposite sides of the alley, connected only by a shared underground cellar. It’s a great spot to experience a traditional Victorian-style pub atmosphere. I loved the oak paneled interior and the cozy, intimate feel of the booths. It feels like a step back in time, away from the modern rush of nearby Trafalgar Square. The selection of Badger beers is excellent, and the service is friendly and efficient. Whether you sit on the "Ship" side or the "Shovell" side, it’s a fantastic place for a pint and a bit of London history.

We were outside of meal hours so we did not eat. I thought they're menus was very diverse with lots of options. Beer selection was very good. I had a hand drawn golden beer served at room temperature , my wife had a lite, crisp lager. Staff was informative, friendly and helpful. Very cool 1800ish interior with lots of dark wood. Very unique in that it is actually two properties across an alley from each other. Take you pick .

Popped into this great pub yesterday lunch time in a group of 4 for a few drinks. Found the staff very welcoming and a real mix of ages eating. the pub is a lovely tradition London pub in design with a good choice of beers. Although we didnt eat here the food being served to other tables looked very good. A great place to meet up or starting your visit to London as it is so close to the Embankment and Trafalger square. Definitely use again, keep up the great welcome!!

Popped in for a drink (stayed for 2!) after having lunch in Kerridge’s Bar and Grill. Cocktails were amazing, staff were attentive, atmosphere was great. Also, the little bowls of Almonds they bring to the table were so moorish…not sure what the seasoning is on them, but they were lovely!

We got a voucher for 3 course lunch from my dad. So glad we did as definitely found a place we will be back. Super friendly and attentive staff. Relaxed service without any pretentiousness despite the 5 star hotel vibes. Food is very reasonably priced. The wine list is huge and while most on the pricey side there are a few at more reasonable prices. Mainly French and Italian but with some more usual options hidden away. The food was amazing - all 4 of us polished our plates, everything was delicious and beautifully presented.

I visited this stately place with nice big windows and mirrors twice and hat the fish both times. I had the liver with scones for starter。Delicious！The first time the fish was perfectly cooked with garnishes that really complimented. I had the sliced peaches and mango sherbet for dessert. It was not too sweet but just right for ending a meal. The fish in the second visit was a little too salty. My dessert, a kiwi fruit tart, was light and tasty. Service was excellent both times. What's more, the prices are reasonable. All in all a fine place to eat, much better than the one next door!

Situated in the luxurious Corinthia Hotel in Westminster, this place did not disappoint from the moment we walked in. The decor, lighting, table setting and general ambience especially after dark spells class. Service was fantastic and their seasonal menu was good too. If you are in the mood, head over to the bar next to the restaurant for great live band and cocktails to end the evening.

Our meal here was absolutely stunning and the service was phenomenal. We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and did not leave disappointed! We tried the house cured salmon, the ricotta and pine nut ravioli, the pork tenderloin, and the veal, as well as some wine. Everything was exceptional, from the sourdough that came out with an artichoke cream and decadent salted butter, all the way through the mains and the dessert selections offered. There was a small hiccup with the side not arriving with our mains (which wasn’t an issue to begin with.) and our server removed the charge without even being asked. I would return here in a heartbeat and wish to thank all of the staff for making our first meal in London and our wedding anniversary special, and certainly a meal to remember!

1st time visit March '26. Pleasant location and interior with attentive staff. My wife ordered the Beef &Ale pie which came with chunky chips and mushy pees. The pic had a reasonable crust to it and the meat was tender, the gravey was just ok id a bit bland to taste. I had the burger with bacon and coleslaw. My chips were not the same as my wifes and were very thin and when they arrived at the table they were just warm not hot. The burger, bacon and toasted bun was delicious and came with a nice barbecue sauce on a side dish. We ordered a tea and an Americano. The total price was just over the £40 mark.

Ordered the Sunday roast. It was nice and satisfying, though not particularly memorable in terms of flavour. The lamb was slightly overdone. The pub has a classic atmosphere and is a good spot to enjoy a beer but the food didn’t quite stand out.

It was fantastic here! The location was fantastic - right by Trafalgar Square. The pub was lovely inside, great atmosphere and was very spacious. I am gluten free and they were brilliant with this. Would definitely recommend!

On 31st December, my brother and I were staying at the Club Quarters Hotel, and since this Pizza Express branch was extremely close, we decided to go there around 4:00 PM. There was already a long queue when we arrived. We waited patiently for around 15 minutes before we were finally seated. After sitting down, we looked through the menu, made our decision, and then waited another 15 minutes but no one came to take our order. After that, we tried to get the attention of the staff. One of the team members told us someone would come to take our order, but another 10 minutes passed and still no one came. At this point, we were getting frustrated, and so were several other customers who had been seated around the same time as us and were also waiting. Eventually, we asked again and this is where the experience turned very unpleasant. One staff member (the one in the striped shirt, shown in the photo I attached) literally shouted at us, saying: “Can’t you see we are busy?” That response shocked us. We had been extremely patient, waiting nearly 40 minutes in total just to place an order. I told him that if they were so busy, then they should not continue seating new customers while existing ones are still waiting to be served. I also told him that I would be writing a review and mentioning his behaviour. He then gave me a very aggressive and hostile look, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. Shortly after that, another staff member (the one in the checkered shirt) came over, handled the situation professionally, and finally took our order. To his credit, he was polite, calm, and clearly understood that the situation had been mishandled. The food itself was really, really good and arrived quite quickly which made the whole situation even more confusing, because the kitchen clearly wasn’t the problem. It was purely a service issue. However, even while we were eating, the same staff member who had shouted at us passed by our table rudely, which completely ruined the atmosphere of the meal. What should have been a relaxed New Year’s Eve dinner turned into one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time, simply because of how we were treated.

A pleasant Pizza Express, with a lovely large downstairs area where most of the seating is. Reading other reviews, I would agree this Pizza Express is busy, and likewise the prices are more expensive than most other branches of Pizza Express but that is something you should bare in mind should you choose to eat in an extremely busy part of Central London. It is conveniently placed restaurant being near lots of the theatres in the west end end. Service was mostly good, there was one occasion we asked for something and unfortunately we're forgotten about. I am sympathetic to this being one of the busiest Pizza Expresses there is. Otherwise, food and drinks were enjoyable and met expectations.

Came here today as I wanted to treat my daughter to a Pizza Hut buffet. As a kid my parents took me and I enjoyed it and I wanted to do the same for my daughter so she can experience it before the restaurants are fazed out. When we arrived we were nicely greeted and seated. I’ll be honest the “scan barcode”order process I didn’t like, but we got there. I ordered one kids and one adult buffet with unlimited drinks and ice cream. The drink’s tasted watered down sadly. The Pizzas were good, less toppings as when I visited as a kid lol. Downfalls… the toilets are far down down downstairs and I didn’t see any pasta :( HOWEVER… the customer service was brilliant!! The lady who greeted us was always asking if we were ok and complimented on my daughter’s beauty. All the staff looked happy the managers seemed very nice also. Great experience and glad I was able to bring my daughter here today!! Many thanks!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the exceptional service provided by Smit, Jonathan and the entire team. This was my second visit, and once again they went above and beyond, delivering outstanding service to our group of more than 20 people. Their professionalism, friendliness, and desire to satisfy their customers made the experience truly memorable. The food was delicious, especially the tasty pizzas, and everything was served promptly. I would highly recommend this Pizza Hut to anyone looking for great food and excellent customer service. We'll definitely be back!

I was there last weekend and it was nice. The waiter was very helpful and the atmosphere at the restaurant was nice. When I first came to the restaurant, it wasn't busy (even though it was early evening on a Saturday). Few people were there, especially the families that were dining in. The pizza was very nice, and the chips were okay. Plus the tango orange was okay. But overall, it was good at this Pizza Hut restaurant, Stand. I'll give it 8/10, but I would have added more if the salad bar were in the same area as the restaurant and not downstairs to get the salad which would have been nicer, in my opinion.

After going to Kew Gardens we went all the way to London we were looking for somewhere to eat. We found Pizza Hut because it was quiet everywhere else was packed solid we went in there had something to eat it wasn't bad for the price. The woman who served us and showed us to the table she was amazing the staff look like they were keeping the place clean keeping the salad bowl tops up. Then the food came out the food was nice always filling when you want to sit down and eat. The disabled toilet was nice and clean the baby changing look clean as well it's quite nice to see they put effort in the toilets
