The Wolseley is one of those rare restaurants that feels timeless the moment you walk through the door. Set on Piccadilly, its grand Art Deco interior immediately creates a sense of occasion—high ceilings, gleaming black-and-white floors, and a gentle hum of conversation that makes it feel both elegant and welcoming.
The menu leans toward classic European café cuisine, executed with confidence rather than flash. Dishes like the eggs Benedict, steak tartare, and Wiener schnitzel are dependable standouts, while the pastries and desserts—particularly the crêpes and seasonal tarts—are indulgent without being overdone. Ingredients are high quality, portions are generous, and there’s a reassuring consistency to the food that keeps regulars coming back.
Service is a highlight. The staff are polished, attentive, and unflustered, striking a balance between formality and warmth that suits the setting perfectly. Whether you’re there for a leisurely breakfast, a business lunch, or a pre-theatre dinner, you’re made to feel looked after without being rushed.
The Wolseley isn’t about culinary trends or experimental flair; it’s about refinement, comfort, and tradition done exceptionally well. It’s the kind of place you return to again and again—not because it surprises you, but because it never disappoints.

We were absolutely delighted with this restaurant. The service was outstanding — Vlas was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish perfectly prepared and beautifully presented, and the drinks complemented the meal perfectly. You can really feel the passion and attention to detail from the whole team. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

Such a lovely experience! I ordered the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and it was extremely delicious with the sourdough.
The black coffee was good but not perfect.
The waiters are so nice and polite.
I’ll definitely come again.

Exquisite tea experience with thoughtful service. The design and architecture of the building and interior was stunning. We were accepted early for our reservation, and were treated with great kindness from the staff. Our server even had a few surprises for us, which was extremely kind. The tea was delicious, as well as the tasty food. We quite enjoyed our time at the Wolseley.

I came over for my bday lunch and ordered oysters. They were delish. I had a glass of red and a cocktail. The staff are amazing, chatty, attentive, helpful but discreet and very polite at the same time. Everyone is smiling. Karen, who served me, was exceptionally great! Attentive, friendly and very professional. I’m definitely coming back. Loved the atmosphere.

Had a really enjoyable visit to Burger & Lobster. The food was fresh, tasty and exactly what you hope for from this place – juicy burger, perfectly cooked lobster and great sides. The atmosphere was lively but comfortable, and everything came out quickly and nicely presented.
Special thanks to Andronick for the excellent service – friendly, attentive and genuinely helpful with recommendations throughout the meal. He really made the experience feel welcoming and effortless. I’ll definitely be coming back and can happily recommend this place to anyone craving a good burger and lobster.

Had lunch at Burger and Lobster in Mayfair and it absolutely hit the spot. We went for the lobster rolls and they were packed with fresh, buttery lobster in a soft toasted bun, classic, simple and very satisfying. The beer selection was solid and paired perfectly with the food. The vibe was relaxed but polished, and the staff were friendly without being over the top. It is a great place to treat yourself without feeling too formal. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area and craving something indulgent.

We had a great experience here :)) my kids were trying their first lobster 🦞 and they were very happy!
The service was on the best possible level: Alex was taking care of us at the beginning and made a very good suggestion to take a “big one” rather taking three small ones – we ended up happy and entertained with only only the first lobster, but also the biggest one we ever had. 🤩
Later Aanie took care of us and we felt like at home. Very pleasant experience, especially when you have a lunch with your kids – relaxing and enjoyable.
Lobster was great as usual 👍🏼

We dined at Langan’s Brasserie and tried their Sunday Roast. We began with large oysters and then savoured the roast, which featured pork belly instead of beef. We opted for this change as we had beef the previous time at a different restaurant. The portions were generous, accompanied by ample gravy to enhance our plates. There was also enough delicious Yorkshire pudding and vegetables to satisfy one person. We were so full that dessert eluded us despite the tempting Mont Blanc on the menu. Finally, we finished with a stylish black americano served in a cup displaying the Langan logo.

Beautiful atmosphere and classic Mayfair charm. The mix of English elegance and French finesse feels effortless. The Beef Wellington was perfectly cooked — crisp pastry, tender beef, full of flavor. Impeccable service and a truly timeless dining experience.

The Eggs Benedict was flawless, and the Full English had everything done right — even the black pudding!
Beautiful place with real London charm, elegant interiors, and everything tasted absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. 🍳✨

Novikov Asian is one of my favorite restaurants in London, always offering a refined atmosphere with elegant décor that makes the dining experience feel special. The food is generally delicious, and their sushi remains outstanding with top quality and incredible taste that never disappoints. The service is excellent, with staff who are attentive, professional, and eager to make guests feel welcomed, which is one of the main reasons I always come back. This time I noticed that the quality of some dishes like the tacos and fried rice was slightly different from before, but overall the experience was still enjoyable. Novikov remains one of the best Asian dining options in London and is highly recommended for anyone who appreciates fine cuisine.

Very nice vibes in the place. The restaurant serves both italian and asian cuisines. I went for the asian restaurant. Sushi was really good. Recommended dishes are noodles, chicken sweet and sour and the top highlight was king prawns with the special cocktail sauce. Speacial NOVikola is recommended from mocktails menu and it has a special twist. Service was ok with minor delays in serving. Dessert was delicious, the special limited edition of chocolate cigar is highly recommended. The place is pricey but worth it

Service has gone down, kitchen is lazy and will not even tolerate a honey allergy. Was quite disappointing. Quality and service has gone down drastically in the past few years. They charge you minimum charge of 100 pounds per person and the say they cannot serve you any food. Very bad way to trap your clients.

Lovely food and service! Sushi is great, but be specific with that you order, it can be a bit greasy. The music was super loud like in a club,we asked twice to lower the volume but they only lowered it 2 percent. That was the most annoying part. Other than the super loud ear breaking music, food and service is great. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a lovely experience.

We loved our stay here - thank you for having us! As younger, reciprocal club members we were unsure what to expect, but ROSL were fantastic 😊 The location is truly unbeatable. The staff were all immensely helpful, nice and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The building itself is gorgeous and breakfast was really great! Highly recommend - will definitely be staying here again when in London next.

Attended the private viewing of ROSL PHOTO 23, which will be until Feb 2024.
Gorgeous place, greeted with a glass of wine, and respectful staff all along. The exhibition itself is spread over 2 floors, giving justice to each piece. Some very endearing pieces and one that captivates my attention.
I will be attending again. They provide a wide variety of music, art, politics, etc...
The rooms were all full, but then it was nearly the end of the year, so everyone was out celebrating.
Keep your eyes peeled for their events, highly recommend them.
Make sure you are dressed smart casual. It saves a lot of unnecessary aggro.

I have said it once and more than happy to say it again the Aubaine French toast is one of my favourites. Since going I have been informed that the French toast has changed I assume it’s a seasonal shift, it’s now a cinnamon French toast. However this traditional French toast was delectable I’ve had it multiple times, great quality control, it never disappointed. I’m looking forward to trying the Aubaine new cinnamon French toast because they’ve had a great track record based on my personal experiences.

My partner and I came here because we were drawn by the lobster pasta. We're going through a phase at the moment and are trying multiple restaurants serving such a dish.
We ordered the wagyu katsu sando. The lobster pasta and a millefeuille for dessert.
The lobster pasta was exceptional. Fresh lobster tail, was tender and flavourful and accompanied very well with the lobster basque sauce of the pasta. Wasn't too salty and burst of flavour with every bite. However for £40, it was on the pricier side of dishes on the menu.
The wagyu sando was quite disappointing. The beef was tough, but very well seasoned. I understand it isn't A5 Wagyu, and they use British wagyu but I at least expected to not have to tear through the meat with my canines like I were eating a rump steak.
The highlight of the night was the millefeuille. Decently priced and was a massive portion compared to patisseries around London. The cream was soft and sweet. Delicate and melted in the mouth. The pastry wasn't too flaky but just the right texture. It almost had me ordering another.
The service was great! The waiter didn't hesitate with any questions we had and checked up on us throughout dinner to ensure we were satisfied. Water glasses were never left empty!

The food was alright. The restaurant was almost empty and the waiting times were simply not reasonable for the amount of people on the premises. The employees were just taking too long to serve the food. Some customers were clearly being paid too much attention while others simply being neglected. Perhaps you should not judge a book by its cover.

So the fork had a deal for food and we wanted to try it out as we haven't been to this location. It's a hidden gem of a location which you would walk past if you didn't know about it. I love the decorations they have used it feels very exotic and fun.
We ordered the calamari which was lovely and fresh.
Baked vacherin which was delicious a rich cheese that is messy but god does it task amazing.
Miso aubergine which the miso sauce is so tasty and it's difficult to just have a bit of it. The chicken supreme it was so tender to eat and every bite just again makes you want more. The lobster pasta had that rich flavour and my girlfriend loved it. We shared it was half price so we went to town. The desserts are my favourite here. We had the millefleur which the filling is so lovely and you wish they just put it in a bowl for you to scoop. The pear tart had this home made goodness that reminds you of that skilled aunt that made amazing sweet goodness. The chocolate and coffee cake wasn't that rich and it was okay. They did a valentine's chocolate cake which was amazing I wish they did it again.
Service was wonderful and they took excellent care of us. I highly recommend here and look on the fork app for deals and with the receipt they give you 20% off.
If you found my review helpful please press like. Thank you so much.

Had a wonderful brunch at Quaglino’s! Live subtle r&b music sung with a cold French Chablis in hand was the theme of the day. Had a very seafood heavy meal selection with everything being fantastic. Highlight was the Monk Fish Ceviche.

Went to Quaglino’s for my birthday. The setting was glamorous and the live music gave the evening a real sense of occasion. Service was warm and attentive — I did feel looked after — but the automatic 15% charge feels excessive. Just pay your staff properly rather than using service as a way to lift prices.
I had the goat’s cheese tart and the venison. Both were nicely presented and generally tasty, though the venison didn’t feel quite right — flavourful but not as refined as you’d expect at this level. The food overall was decent, but for £178 per head (including service), it should have been better.
The staff worked hard, but the mix and culture of the place didn’t quite fit the polished European brasserie it aims to be. A great venue for atmosphere and entertainment, but the food, pricing, and overall consistency don’t justify the spend.

I celebrated my birthday at Quaglino’s, and it was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was elegant and vibrant, the food was exceptional, and the service was honestly some of the best I’ve ever received.
A huge thank you to the incredible staff who made my night so special — Ming, Louange, Kevin and Jerusha. Each of them went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely made me feel celebrated. From the thoughtful touches to the smooth service throughout the evening, they turned a beautiful dinner into a truly memorable occasion.
Quaglino’s exceeded every expectation, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate my birthday. I’ll definitely be back — and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing food, stunning ambience, and exceptional hospitality.
Thank you again to the whole team for making my night magical! ✨🎉💕

My wife and I chose Quaglino’s for cocktails and Christmas Eve dinner, and it was truly magical. The iconic Art Deco glamour felt even more enchanting with festive decorations. Cocktails were superb – creative, perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. Our waiter Matthew was great – attentive, charming and full of warm festive spirit. Dinner was outstanding: exquisite flavours, flawless execution and impeccable service. The live music added such a romantic, joyful touch. An unforgettable, luxurious evening we’ll treasure forever. Highly recommended!

I came here for my birthday dinner and had a great time overall. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, they didn’t make a fuss when I changed my starter. The live performers were amazing and really brought the place to life. Drinks were delicious with plenty of options, and our mains (the steak with peppercorn sauce and roasted pork belly) were spot on.
On the downside, the seating was pretty cramped where people kept bumping into my chair and the table setup felt a bit messy. The food quality is definitely high, but the menu is quite limited, and I didn’t love the starters (though the burrata was amazing once I switched to it). It’s a bit pricey for what it is, but honestly, the atmosphere and drinks make it a great spot for a fun night out with music and good vibes.

This is a cute pub within a reasonable walking distance from Buckingham Palace. We stopped in for a quick bite post our tour.
Steak & Ale pie had plenty of meat and a delicious buttery crust. Cabbage was buttery and tender. Fries were phenomenal and the scotch-egg was a must do. Only item that missed a little bit was the hamburger it was decent but not to rave about like the other items.
