5 Star Rating Impeccable and thoughtful service, excellent food, classic venue. Designed with care. I had come on a recommendation from my friend and walked in for a late lunch around 2:30PM. It did not disappoint. On entry they ask if you would like to select a newspaper to read (Financial times, Guardian and one other), which I loved, and served a complimentary bread basket as soon as you are seated. It was busy, but was able to be seated straight away and noise was noticeable but still a comfortable level. I ordered the goujons of haddock starter, calf liver with bacon for the main and still water. Everything was impeccable - the goujons had a beautiful golden crisp, lightly seasoned and went well with the accompanying aioli and lemon - I could eat these endlessly. The liver was smooth, slightly tender and moist with a soft pink centre. My waiter (wish I had gotten his name!) was beyond fantastic- checked in frequently to make sure everything was going well - even came to tell me when he was going on a short break and introduced me to who would be looking after me during this time. I was about to leave and my waiter had just come back so asked me to wait a moment and surprised me with a dessert on the house, which was like chef's kiss to an already fantastic experience. Thank you!

4 Star Rating We had afternoon tea in this elegant and timeless setting. Although it was a bit noisy, it was still easy to have a conversation. The tea set was beautiful, and I particularly enjoyed the scone. The other sandwiches and sweets, in my opinion, were just average. The server was very friendly, and the price was acceptable for a traditional English afternoon tea experience.

4 Star Rating Its a very fancy place for sure. Looks awesome and you feel like a million bucks just being inside. The food was definitely good but wasn't mind blowing. None of us were wowed by anything we got(duck, halibut, sea bream). The fresh bread and butter was super good though. Service was ok. It was super loud and hard to understand what our server was saying. For a one and done experience ya sure it's worth it. Maybe I'd try afternoon tea or something. Still enjoyable.

5 Star Rating The Wolseley is one of those rare restaurants that feels timeless the moment you walk through the door. Set on Piccadilly, its grand Art Deco interior immediately creates a sense of occasion—high ceilings, gleaming black-and-white floors, and a gentle hum of conversation that makes it feel both elegant and welcoming. The menu leans toward classic European café cuisine, executed with confidence rather than flash. Dishes like the eggs Benedict, steak tartare, and Wiener schnitzel are dependable standouts, while the pastries and desserts—particularly the crêpes and seasonal tarts—are indulgent without being overdone. Ingredients are high quality, portions are generous, and there’s a reassuring consistency to the food that keeps regulars coming back. Service is a highlight. The staff are polished, attentive, and unflustered, striking a balance between formality and warmth that suits the setting perfectly. Whether you’re there for a leisurely breakfast, a business lunch, or a pre-theatre dinner, you’re made to feel looked after without being rushed. The Wolseley isn’t about culinary trends or experimental flair; it’s about refinement, comfort, and tradition done exceptionally well. It’s the kind of place you return to again and again—not because it surprises you, but because it never disappoints.

4 Star Rating This is a very classy catering establishment, complete with a doorman, 2 lovely ushers and very friendly waiting staff. The decor is inimitable, the crockery and silverware set up is typical Victorian and with some imagination you may manage to forget which year you’re in. The food was nice and the attention from every member of staff was impeccable. Thank you to one and all for this experience.

5 Star Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely fantastic food! Everything was incredibly delicious and beautifully presented, especially the seafood. We enjoyed it so much that my boyfriend and I came back the very next day, instead of trying a new restaurant — and that says it all. Cozy atmosphere, great flavors, and a truly enjoyable experience. Well done to the team, highly recommended! 🦞✨

5 Star Rating Had a wonderful evening here. The food was exceptional from start to finish. Highlights were the caviar with egg on toast and the duck confit, one of the best I’ve had in London, rich but not heavy and perfectly balanced. The Beef Wellington was also beautifully done. Great wine and cocktail selection, with a lovely bar upstairs featuring live music and a very elegant atmosphere. Service was warm, attentive and unpretentious. A refined yet relaxed dining experience I’d happily return to.

5 Star Rating For starters, I ordered half a dozen Jersey oysters🦪 for £27, which were incredibly fresh and flavorful!! They came with two types of sauces and refreshing lemon juice, allowing you to adjust the seasoning to your taste~ I’m not usually a fan of raw food, but the yellowfin tuna completely changed my perspective. It was absolutely not greasy at all! The Devon crab paired with vegetables had a unique texture, and I also ordered the Obsiblue shrimp, where you can choose any quantity. Both dishes are best enjoyed with the accompanying sauces—it feels like discovering a whole new world! The main course, the Wellington steak, was absolutely amazing!!! Just look at the color in the picture—it’s no exaggeration!! The creamy pasta with caviar had a rich, soft, and chewy texture, complemented by the crispy, salty bursts of flavor. Who knew eating pasta could feel so luxurious?! For dessert, I opted for one sweet and one savory: their soufflé and cheese platter. The soufflé was exquisitely crafted, even featuring the restaurant’s name printed on it—such a creative touch! After breaking through the chocolate lid, the inside was like a custard filling, perfectly paired with an ice cream ball for a delightful contrast of hot and cold. As for the cheese platter, it leaned more toward the savory side and was best enjoyed with the accompanying crackers. The cheeses had a strong fermented flavor, so I’d recommend it for true cheese lovers. With one platter, you get to try several varieties, including famous ones like the trendy blue cheese and goat cheese. In short, only those who’ve tried it truly understand!

5 Star Rating This restaurant is so good that I couldn’t even wait to get out of the restaurant to give this a five star! The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a strong old-money vibe—I went in at 3 pm and it was still packed! It's incredibly popular! And everyone there was a family, dressed in suits, skirts, and heels—so formal! A real sense of occasion! Their menu has a huge selection! They have all sorts of caviar presentations and flavors. For appetizers, we chose a raw beef tartare and yuzu tuna! The tuna was beautifully presented, marinated in yuzu juice, making it very refreshing and the fish was incredibly fresh! For the raw beef tartare, they show you the ingredients first, then prepare all the sauces and seasonings right in front of you! A truly immersive experience! Served with two slices of bread, the crispy and chewy texture was amazing! For the main course, we hesitated for a long time, really wanting either duck leg or steak, finally choosing the Wellington steak for two! My impression of steak was still stuck on Golden Ramsey's Hell's Kitchen, which really tests the ingredients and cooking methods, and this place, I felt, took it to the extreme! After a short wait, they'll bring it to you and show you the ingredients. It already looked huge, and when it arrived, it was indeed incredibly thick when cut in half! The meat inside was cooked perfectly, medium rare, using filet mignon, so it was super tender with no fat, no tendons, and melted in your mouth!! The potatoes and spinach that came with the set meal were also delicious with the sauce. My friends and I were nodding enthusiastically as we ate! Meat lovers, go for it!! They also have a wide selection of desserts! A whole page of menus! We chose their classic chocolate soufflé with ice cream and an orange chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. The soufflé took 15 minutes to prepare, which gave us time to digest, haha. The restaurant is incredibly photogenic! The soufflé was baked to a soft, fluffy perfection, and the ice cream melted in your mouth! The chocolate cake was incredibly rich and fudgy! They also have a bar upstairs, perfect for chilling before your meal. The food quality is absolutely superb, I think it rivals Michelin-starred restaurants! I'll definitely come back for my friend's birthday celebration next time!

5 Star Rating We visited the Italian section of Noviko and had a lovely experience. We ordered the Black Truffle Mushroom pizza and the seafood grill, and both were very tasty and well prepared. The pizza had a rich truffle flavor and the seafood was fresh and nicely cooked. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant is comfortable and beautifully designed, creating a relaxed atmosphere. It was slightly on the expensive side, but overall a great dining experience and worth visiting.

5 Star Rating Novikov Asian is one of my favorite restaurants in London, always offering a refined atmosphere with elegant décor that makes the dining experience feel special. The food is generally delicious, and their sushi remains outstanding with top quality and incredible taste that never disappoints. The service is excellent, with staff who are attentive, professional, and eager to make guests feel welcomed, which is one of the main reasons I always come back. This time I noticed that the quality of some dishes like the tacos and fried rice was slightly different from before, but overall the experience was still enjoyable. Novikov remains one of the best Asian dining options in London and is highly recommended for anyone who appreciates fine cuisine.

5 Star Rating Novikov Restaurant & Bar stands as one of Mayfair’s most established high-end dining destinations, combining scale, energy and international appeal in a way few venues manage successfully. Positioned just off Berkeley Street, its red-awning entrance is understated compared to what lies beneath — a multi-room restaurant concept delivering both Asian and Italian cuisine under one roof. The Asian restaurant is the more theatrical of the two spaces. Dramatic lighting, a central display of fresh seafood and a vibrant atmosphere create a sense of occasion from the moment you step inside. The sushi and sashimi selection is precise and visually immaculate, while signature dishes such as black cod, robata-grilled meats and truffle-infused plates demonstrate confident execution. Flavours are bold yet controlled, and presentation is refined without feeling overworked. The Italian side offers a slightly calmer, more classic dining experience. Handmade pasta, quality seafood and well-sourced ingredients form the backbone of the menu. The contrast between the two concepts gives Novikov versatility — it can be a high-energy evening out or a more composed dinner setting depending on where you sit. Service operates at a professional Mayfair standard. Staff are polished, knowledgeable and efficient, although the venue’s popularity means peak evenings are lively and fast-paced. It attracts a well-dressed international crowd, including business diners, tourists and high-profile guests, contributing to its reputation as a social hotspot. Pricing firmly reflects its £100+ bracket positioning. However, the combination of scale, atmosphere and culinary consistency helps justify the premium. Novikov succeeds because it understands its audience — it is less about quiet intimacy and more about experience, presence and confidence. For those seeking dynamic luxury dining in central London, Novikov remains one of Mayfair’s most recognisable and dependable choic

The music was super loud like in a club,we asked twice to lower the volume but they only lowered it 2 percent. That was the most annoying part. 5 Star Rating I have said it once and more than happy to say it again the Aubaine French toast is one of my favourites. Since going I have been informed that the French toast has changed I assume it’s a seasonal shift, it’s now a cinnamon French toast. However this traditional French toast was delectable I’ve had it multiple times, great quality control, it never disappointed. I’m looking forward to trying the Aubaine new cinnamon French toast because they’ve had a great track record based on my personal experiences.

4 Star Rating My partner and I came here because we were drawn by the lobster pasta. We're going through a phase at the moment and are trying multiple restaurants serving such a dish. We ordered the wagyu katsu sando. The lobster pasta and a millefeuille for dessert. The lobster pasta was exceptional. Fresh lobster tail, was tender and flavourful and accompanied very well with the lobster basque sauce of the pasta. Wasn't too salty and burst of flavour with every bite. However for £40, it was on the pricier side of dishes on the menu. The wagyu sando was quite disappointing. The beef was tough, but very well seasoned. I understand it isn't A5 Wagyu, and they use British wagyu but I at least expected to not have to tear through the meat with my canines like I were eating a rump steak. The highlight of the night was the millefeuille. Decently priced and was a massive portion compared to patisseries around London. The cream was soft and sweet. Delicate and melted in the mouth. The pastry wasn't too flaky but just the right texture. It almost had me ordering another. The service was great! The waiter didn't hesitate with any questions we had and checked up on us throughout dinner to ensure we were satisfied. Water glasses were never left empty!

5 Star Rating So the fork had a deal for food and we wanted to try it out as we haven't been to this location. It's a hidden gem of a location which you would walk past if you didn't know about it. I love the decorations they have used it feels very exotic and fun. We ordered the calamari which was lovely and fresh. Baked vacherin which was delicious a rich cheese that is messy but god does it task amazing. Miso aubergine which the miso sauce is so tasty and it's difficult to just have a bit of it. The chicken supreme it was so tender to eat and every bite just again makes you want more. The lobster pasta had that rich flavour and my girlfriend loved it. We shared it was half price so we went to town. The desserts are my favourite here. We had the millefleur which the filling is so lovely and you wish they just put it in a bowl for you to scoop. The pear tart had this home made goodness that reminds you of that skilled aunt that made amazing sweet goodness. The chocolate and coffee cake wasn't that rich and it was okay. They did a valentine's chocolate cake which was amazing I wish they did it again. Service was wonderful and they took excellent care of us. I highly recommend here and look on the fork app for deals and with the receipt they give you 20% off. If you found my review helpful please press like. Thank you so much.

5 Star Rating Wow wow wow!!! We had booked a table for the Gospel Brunch on the Sunday but while exploring London on the Saturday we did some "recon" at the venue 😉 It feels like a mix of modern and vintage style. Really cool decor and really friendly staff. We had drink upstairs on the Saturday and was able to enjoy the music. A very talented solo singer. She had a great voice. Sunday brunch was spectacular. Same friendly service and ambience. The food was scrumptious, accompanied by the gospel singers doing old and new soul, rnb and pop numbers. They got the audience up, dancing and singing. A really great afternoon on a wet and dreary day. The venue will take your coats and luggage if you have any. We will definitely be back. Have to mention the bar tender who looked after us on both days. Also on the Sunday, Gaz, who looked after us at our table was funny, helpful and made our experience wonderful 🙌 💃 🕺 👌

5 Star Rating I went to Quaglino’s on the 20th of January to celebrate my birthday. My partner and I had an amazing time. The food, atmosphere with live entertainment and service were exceptional. For our starter we ordered Quaglino’s Fruits De Mer which was the star of the show, if you love seafood I would highly recommend it, the portion size was so much bigger than we expected, we were so full afterwards. For my main I ordered the ribeye steak with a side of chips and carrots, the quality and flavour of the steak was amazing. My partner ordered the venison with a side of chips and green beans he loved the venison with the red wine jus. Our waiter Gas gave us a 5* service, he was really warm and friendly, he made sure we had everything we needed, always checked up on us and he gave us many recommendations which turned out to be lovely. Gas went above and beyond to make sure that my birthday dinner was a special one. We were so full we had to take some food home unfortunately they didn’t have any takeaway boxes so Gas wrapped up all of our food in foil for us to take home. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want to enjoy a lovely evening with great food and live music. Thank you Gas for making our experience so amazing, we will definitely be coming back and we hope to see you there.

3 Star Rating We arrived with some expectations for our Valentine's dinner. It started well as we were greeted and the concept was explained quite well. Although it just started going downhill from thereon. Some of our courses weren’t cleared for more than 15 minutes and we had to grab their attention time and again. The live music was the only saving grace. Also 3 of the 5 courses were more of a miss than something that wowed us. Might think twice before returning. Probably not worth the expensive price and service charge.

5 Star Rating Both my partner and I loved this place. We were tucked away at the back as requested in the reservation form. The live music was great with good song choices and not too loud. The food was also good although lacking a bit of salt the menu selection is not too diverse but there are some vegetarian options some small issues we experienced: we asked for tapwater and received a bottle, the menu didn’t specify mushrooms in one of the dishes (dietary restriction), and the food took a while to come. However, the staff were kind and patient, which is very appreciated.

I went for breakfast and enjoyed my smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on toast (hard to get wrong really) but later wished I went for the french toast with bacon. Or the waffles with strawberries and cream. Or any of the other American classics on the brunch menu. Unfortunately I have to agree about the surly staff - I know it's before 9am but would it hurt to crack a smile? It's certainly not the best place in London for American food but it's not a bad option. If someone else is paying.

3 Star Rating Automat was the next stop on the quest for the best burger in London but what a disappointing time. One of my friends had told me about this place reputed to have a juicy burger and some excellent truffle mac'n'cheese. They will also adapt your burger however you want it, regardless of what is specified on the menu. It sounded interesting so we gave it a go. The entry was fine with a gracious doorman and very friendly (and attractive) hostesses. Actually, the staff were the highlight with a very friendly and welcoming manner. However, it all went down hill from there. To start off, our table for two was barely bigger than a pizza and placed in the most awkward position (quite literally in the doorway) despite having booked ahead of time. I know tables for two tend to get short shrift, but that's a bit far. The burger arrived and visually it looked pretty damn good. However, like most things, it started to fall apart (quite literally). The key attributes of a good burger are the patty, the toppings, and of course the bun. The patty was alright, nothing special but slightly overcooked. The toppings of cheese, bacon, tomato, and lettuce was absolutely perfectly balanced with enough salt to keep it tasty but not too much grease to make it oily. The bun is where is all collapsed with each bite sending the top bun crumbling away. It was as if they had stored it in an airing cupboard then toasted what little life remained away. By the time I was halfway through, the top bun was nothing more than dust. Epic burger fail! The truffle mac and cheese was well truffled. However, be warned, it's so rich that each bite gives you a heart attack. Still, it's worth the years off the life for a taste of this truffle-based goodness. Oh, I will admit the fries (skinny fries) with the burger were top notch and I could easily have made a meal of them. Cocktails however, for a NYC bistro, are pitiful. The Manhattan is made with Canadian Club (when did that become an acceptable Scoth whiskey?) and over diluted. You can request a better quality alcohol but it won't make much difference sadly. All in all, one cocktail, two burgers, and a large order of truffle mac'n'cheese came to just over 70 squids. It's quite hefty price to pay for a mediocre burger and a watery cocktail. Automat, I hope your other food is better but when it comes to burgers it's time to get your act together!

3 Star Rating I'm not sure what's happened to Automat, but this place used to be brill - now, there are rips in the leather booths. Fine if you're MeatLiquor, but not fine if you charge £60 for a burger, a salad, mac'n'cheese and two drinks. Yes, the drinks were good (amaretto sour, especially) but the food really varied. Burger was dense and meaty, but the mac and cheese was a pale, pale shadow of Spuntino's or - well, anywhere really. The crowd was awful (braying table of hedge funders, women in beige cashmere wraps) and the waitress lost us a little when we walked into an absolutely empty restaurant at 6.30pm to be told we could only have our table for an hour. Fine, especially with quick food, but we then spent 10 minutes getting the bill from the increasingly surly staff. With hefty service charge added.

5 Star Rating The fact that this is a New York style American Brasserie in the heart of London almost automatically qualified it as a GLP. It was the Return of the Mac and Cheese (here it is) however that sealed the deal. Not for the faint walleted, this pricey establishment is all about the relaxed, stylish end of dining. That’s not to say it’s not buzzy - it still has the heart of NYC pulsing through it. There are a couple of areas where you might find yourself eating; in the wood-panelled ‘railway carriage’ middle section of the restaurant with leather booths and moody desk lamp lighting. Either that or you’ll probably be in the main space, all white tiles and wood. The chef’s table next to the open kitchen is definitely worth booking if there are enough of you in tow. The menu is US of A to the max. Period. Jam-packed with steak and eggs, fluffy pancakes, waffles, burgers, and all sorts of other heart-attack inducing delights. The buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup and blueberries are not to be missed.

4 Star Rating It is one of my favorite places in London but despite the cosy atmosphere in the first room, the good food and the fact that you can dictate when to order food or ask for the bill I think is a bit too priced. Moreover, watch out for the soap dispenser in men's room (if you press too hard it will spit soap just far enough to get on your trousers ;-)
