Fantastic service, ambience, and food. The food itself is good, but it's really everything else that puts the experience over the top! It's a little pricey, but specially compared to other pubs, but in my opinion, completely worth it! I had:
- Stilton mousse: fantastic!
- Sausage and mash: good. The onion gravy had fantastic depth
- Chocolate pot: dense, but silky

I made this last minute booking through email and got the confirmation within minutes so that was a good start! Very responsive even over emails.
The place is unpretentious but you get more than you would expect! I chose this place for a catch-up with my friends whom I haven’t seen for 10+ years! We were led downstairs which was a surprise at first but it was the perfect place and my friends really liked it too — what with it’s rustic charm and English food. The food was fantastic (we even had a vegetable dish on the house, thanks!). Service was superb and very patient with us when we delayed our order because one of my friends was running late.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely come here again with my family next!

My husband & I went to this restaurant to celebrate 🍾 my birthday. The servers were very polite and attentive with a warm, welcoming smile the moment we entered the restaurant. The food was full- flavoured, especially the crispy roast pork belly. We both truly enjoyed our meal. Giving us the most memorable experience. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Even though the waitress was patient, she wasn't friendly or welcoming at all. She didn't look happy and it felt like she didn't want to talk to serve us at all. The food itself was flavourful but unfortunately, the flavours that they incorporated just weren't for me. I was the one who chose those particular courses so I can't really blame them. Which is why I had trouble leaving a lower rating because the food itself was decent, but it was just not meant for me. I had the Duck Liver Pate, the Shepherd's pie and the Burnt cream. The appetizer and main course had too much aftertaste from the liver and the lamb for me to enjoy. But, I am sure a lot of people would enjoy those flavours that were overwhelming for me. The atmosphere is enjoyable, a bit too dark for my personal liking but it was relaxing and classy. The portions were pretty generous, it matched the prices that were a bit more expensive.

Excellent, cozy establishment with a hint of history. Loved the rustic interiors and the kind of food that will have you sleeping like a baby afterward. The leek tart + pork I had was truly excellent. I also tried the stilton mousse which was fab. Highly recommend making a reservation (easy to do on their website!!) I went in the summer, would love to come back in cooler weather and try more things (pudding menu was expanse!! Must try all)!!

One of Green King pub at just off busy high street Kensington. Nice to pop in to have a cold pint in this cozy old little pub after a long walk for shopping. The food is traditional pub menu and nothing special, but is variety, reasonable and tastes good. The bar staff are friendly and good service. TV's on for watching sports games. No garden or courtyard for smokers.

Found this pub after we had visited Kensington Palace and the lady was absolutely lovely, had a lovely chat, ordered fish and chips and it was yummy. Will definitely visit again. Few mins walk either from Kensington Palace or High Street Kensington Station.

Two Americans walk into a London Pub…having arrived first thing in the morning we were craving fish & chips for lunch. This place did not disappoint. Service was lovely and prompt. If we lived closer we’d be back again and again. Thank you for your hospitality🙂

Decent pub for drinks off Kensington high st. Visited many times in the past with different friends. However, I have to say that the food here is absolutely awful…. With the Sunday roast, only the meat was edible. Potatos hard as rocks, vegetables pretty tasteless but fine, as for the Yorkshire pudding… see picture

Walked early to watch the semi finals..all regular seated tables were reserved but the bartender was kind enough to take 5 mins and give me some other options as to where we might plant ourselves for the match.
Food was good and HOT, which is always a good thing!
Cheers
Let’s bring it home boys 🏴

Had a great meal at Côte Kensington. Our server, Prakriti, was great and quite helpful with recommendations. Charming setting and an attractive menu with lots of variety and price points. I also enjoyed the Pillars Pilsner. I got the sirloin, my wife the trout (from summer menu) - both were great, based on our fully cleaned plates. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the caliber/attentiveness of staff and menu - and prices seem quite reasonable too!

Really enjoyed our visit to Cote Kensington. We arrived for an early meal, so it was fairly quiet but got quite busy later on. It’s in an excellent location, ideal before attending a show at the Royal Albert Hall. Food was fantastic quality, I recommend a visit.

Nice place on a hidden alley. We went for a late breakfast and the menu was nice for the time. Reasonable portion, but good for the moment and taste was nice too. 5 stars for Robert for his great service. Will definitely go back another time.

We visited the cafe late on a Saturday morning for a coffee and dessert. The warm almond and pear butter cake was hearty for such a small slice, and the vanilla ice cream created a creamy and cool contrast. Lovely coffee and a cosy place.

A dinner to remember, without a doubt. I was looking for a good place to celebrate an anniversary and chose Yashin. We were rewarded with class service, fresh food, and a dedicated chef and team. Every aspect of the meal was outstanding. We ordered as much as we could and only wish we could have fit in more. The wagyu beef and bone marrow were sublime. The presentation on the aged tuna matched the succulent flavors. The omakase plate was fresh and exciting. To eat a good meal is such a joy and this was such a meal. Would certainly recommend it and look forward to returning. Five stars all the way.

A lot ot care is clearly taken in preparing the food. The soft shell crab is done to perfection. The Icelandic sea urchin was interesting but probably an acquired taste. Excellent attentive service, beautiful simpl3 cozy atmosphere and reasonable prices for this quality and freshness. Very highly recommended.

Delicious meal. Sushi was expertly crafted and the flavours were fantastic!
We had the one by one ten and it was amazing 🤩. Everything was well paced and it wasn’t rushed at all.
The Chefs and Maple were really attentive and even though we were one of the last guests we weren’t rushed out.

After over a decade, returning to Yashin felt like a nostalgic journey with familiar lighting decorations. The intimate counter bar seating added to the charm. Opted for the sushi omakase, soft shell crab salad, and miso soup – all exquisite. The sushi, a delightful reminiscent taste, paired perfectly with the amazing sake. Despite being the last guests at 9 pm, the service remained attentive, making our late dinner a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

The food was AMAZING and I can not begin to explain how dedicated the service from Michael was. He gave amazing recommendations for drinks and was detailed in his explanation of what fish we were eating. He honestly made the experience a 10/10. This was a delightful omakase experience and I would recommend it to any sushi lovers!!

Food is super tasty and fresh, we had their lunch special next to share for 2 and one shawarma which was enough to share for 2 of us. Everyone was ever so polite, food was tasty, fresh it was very clean there.

I’ve been coming here for years and still love it. It’s my favorite shawarma place outside of Beirut, and if I’m honest (having lived in Beirut), even in Beirut you can’t always get shawarma of this quality. Mezzehs are also decent, although this not the kind of place for an elaborate mezzeh sit-down or diner. Service is friendly, prices have gone up quite a bit in recent years, but then, it’s the same everywhere.

Ranoush is a great little Lebanese spot with a traditional menu and well-cooked flavourful food.
I’ve been several times and it’s consistent and straightforward which is great.
I will say the dishes are pricey in my opinion even accounting for the premium location.
Portion sizes are decent, and the service is great. Never had any problems getting a table.
It may be difficult to find parking nearby but it’s very close to a tube.
Would recommend if you like Lebanese food.

Had a blast late lunch here. The portion size is considerably big for us.. just share 1 lunch platter and 1 wrap between the 3 of us and we were super satisfied. Amazing food and wonderful service.
The meat was juicy and crispy with strong yet gentle flavour. The dippings were smooth and salad was super fresh.

Excellent service! The staff were super friendly, attentive, and we were helped the second we walked in the door. They were all very well dressed and clearly cared about their business and the service they offered. We ordered the afternoon tea which was very good, especially the desserts.
I think they could do with cleaning the floors more often, and give the restrooms a bit more attention. Other than that, we had a great time here, and would absolutely recommend this establishment to anyone who would like a traditional afternoon tea experience.

We visited the Caffe concerto in Kensington and the manager was patient with us, we ordered a blue butterfly pea flower latte and a golden tumeric latte. Both tasted perfect as they should,we did want the pistachio dessert but it was sold out and hadn't tried this before.
Glad to see that the bigger cafes have similar menus whereas we visited the one in Birmingham and it didn't have half the things seen here.
Definitely recommend.

What a fantastic experience and wonderful cuisine. Excellent staff very knowledgeable brilliant atmosphere really comfortable, I ate everything and licked the plate clean. I had the chicken curry and it was delicious probably the best curry I’ve had in a long while. The mushroom rice you could eat on its own that’s how good it was. This is a boutique restaurant vey small but comfortable the atmosphere is very nice you will definitely have to book or be disappointed. This is probably the best Indian restaurant in London I was amazed how good the food was definitely I will be back there again and again. Fantastic exquisite food beautiful surroundings.

Another delicious meal at Chakra - this is our go-to local Indian restaurant, always exceptionally delicious - they’ve got some more unusual and different dishes on offer you don’t see everywhere else. I personally love the pani puri, Bombay ki Bhel Puri, fish moilee, rice, and rasmalai for pudding. Nice cocktails too. Decor and atmosphere is lovely too and has an decking outdoor seating area with heaters. Staff are always friendly and welcoming too :)

The restaurant staff is friendly and attentive. Perhaps a bit more eye contact would be appreciated, but I understand it was busy. A minor issue is that I informed the waitress that my son has a mild egg allergy to ensure nothing with egg, but when we ordered dessert, they forgot, and my son had a slight reaction. It's manageable, but please be careful, as this could be a significant issue for people with food allergies. The rest was fine, and the food was tasty.

This was a nice place. It had a lovely vibe and the surroundings, with the other nice shops and cafes really added to it. The staff were friendly. The pepperoni pizza was nice, and I appreciated that they made this with vegan cheese. The drinks were very good too. They also accepted Tesco club card vouchers which was amazing too. I’d come back here.

It is a nice Italian restaurant in a nice area with a lovely staff. Our waitress, Marietta, was the most conscientious waitress we've ever seen, she asked about our allergies first and gave a throughout summary. She recommended Avocado, bacon salad and Caesar salad which were great and also the desserts. One of the staff recognized my Hungarian question and answered it in Hungarian. It was a big surprise!

Met my mother-in-law here as I was in London for the day. We had a truly lovely lunch and split a bottle of wine. Our meals came quickly and tasted nice and fresh. Our server was really understanding, the weather was very bad while we were there and somehow Mastercards server crashed and all of our cards were being declined. We luckily had a visa on us but our server laughed it off and was very kind and courteous. Will definitely be back my next time in London.

Nice restaurant along the main street.
Pleasant decor and ambience.
We were seated quickly by the friendly staff. Menu is pretty extensive surprisingly. So I'm sure you'll find something if you have no clues.
The herb-crusted cod was nicely done. Fresh fish, crunchy potatoes, not too greasy, not too salty.
Decaf latte was nice and creamy smooth too.

Wow what a great brunch place! They take reservations which would be good for the weekend. There are several meat alternatives which is good for vegetarians. There are a few Balans location in London. This one is located right by the London Design Museum and Kyoto Park so it’s a good neighborhood to explore after your meal.

The food is amazing - we had the French toast with caramelised banana, would definitely recommend if you have a sweet tooth. Coffee was equally as good.
Service was okay, however would definitely recommend double checking the amount entered into the card machine by staff if you’re paying that way.
