Fantastic service, ambience, and food. The food itself is good, but it's really everything else that puts the experience over the top! It's a little pricey, but specially compared to other pubs, but in my opinion, completely worth it! I had:
- Stilton mousse: fantastic!
- Sausage and mash: good. The onion gravy had fantastic depth
- Chocolate pot: dense, but silky

I made this last minute booking through email and got the confirmation within minutes so that was a good start! Very responsive even over emails.
The place is unpretentious but you get more than you would expect! I chose this place for a catch-up with my friends whom I haven’t seen for 10+ years! We were led downstairs which was a surprise at first but it was the perfect place and my friends really liked it too — what with it’s rustic charm and English food. The food was fantastic (we even had a vegetable dish on the house, thanks!). Service was superb and very patient with us when we delayed our order because one of my friends was running late.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely come here again with my family next!

Super lovely, romantic, and rustic-feel venue. Individual booth seating is intimate and private. It is a perfect place for a romantic dinner date with candlelit tables.
Sadly I didn’t like the food. Pâté was average. My French onion soup was too salty and the pork belly as main has less crackling and more fat layer. The chocolate pot was rich and sweet though. Three course set menu was about £37. With a glass of wine and an apple juice, it all came to about £80.
Would I recommend it? For the venue, yes. For the food, no.

My husband booked for our wedding anniversary:) he said this restaurant is one of the romantic restaurants!! I was so excited to visit. The restaurant decoration and feels we are in south France 🇫🇷 somewhere in village. Fantastic!! Also , onion soup !! It’s one of my favorite I felt I am in France. Really deep broth and good tasty 😋 also they have 2 or 3course set menus. Must try pork belly with apple sauce! Absolutely crispy and juicy great 👍 all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I think you may need to book for weekend or dinner just in case busy seat. We wanted to have dessert as well but it’s already full. So we will be back for the second meal and night! Two mains Two starter one beer for around £75 for two person. We had a lovely night!🎉

Absolutely amazing restaurant located in Kensington. Came here a couple of times previously and unfortunately they were fully booked, tried our luck again and thankfully they were able to squeeze us in.(BE WARNED- if you haven't booked you'll be lucky to get in, definitely so at peak times). The menu looked great, rustic English fare.We went for stilton mousse and cheese and leek tart for starters followed by rump of lamb and fish pie. The food was faultless. Every dish tasted gorgeous. The wine (just went for Malbec and Chablis by the glass) was very nice too. The service was friendly, attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was warm, cosy and romantic with a very rural theme. Prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and the location of the restaurant. Overall we had a great time and I'm so glad we were able to get a table. We'd both like to go again, soon. My thanks to the gentlemen on the door, they were very busy so I didn't get chance to get his name (owner, manager, maitre d, greeter?) But he was amazing and a real credit to the restaurant. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

We both had the steak and ale pie. I had chips and mushy peas, husband had mashed potatoes and garden peas. The food was piping hot and we didn’t have a long wait. Would recommend and when we come again, we will try to come in early enough to try the roast!
The staff were polite and friendly.
Husband booked via the web the night before and that went smoothly.

We had a very good Steak & Ale Pie, with Estrella and Gin & Tonic.
Prince of Wales is a really nice pub, and we enjoy coming here, whether during the day or in the evening.

Group of four. Two had fish & chips and really Loved it. I had steak and ale pie,, and it was Absolutely delicious. Gravy was To die For.
Fourth person had the mac & cheese and enjoyed it very much. Definitely WAY better than boxed mac & cheese. One of our party described it as fluffy mac & cheese. The garden peas were served cold, but they were fresh and really . delicious. The mushy peas were nice and hot, and they were very tasty and fresh . (It was our first time having mushy peas). There was a good variety of ciders and beers and booze, not hugely extensive, but certainly more than adequate. We would happily return next time we’re in the area. And the service could not be beat!

Darpan Was An Absolutely Amazing Bartender! He Made Our Experience Truly Memorable With His Fun And Helpful Personality. He Went Above And Beyond To Ensure We Had A Great Time. The Beer Selection Was Fantastic, And The Level Head IPA Was Exceptional—Fresh, Flavorful, And Perfectly Balanced. If You’re A Fan Of IPAs, I Highly Recommend Giving It A Try. We’ll Definitely Be Coming Back and you can meet us here anytime you’re here.

OMG. That was the most wonderful Steak and Ale pie we have had for many a year. Even better than from a farmers market and we’re from Somerset. Nice selection of ale to go with it. Very Happy.

We had a very enjoyable pre-concert dinner at the Kensington Cote this week. The service was friendly and fast, and we were lucky with the weather, so an outside table allowed us to get some early evening sunshine 🌞. The a la carte mains we chose were the Beef Cheek Bourguignon and the Poulet Breton with the Petits Pois à la Française side dish, both were delicious. A couple of free glasses of Crémant Rosé was a nice bonus too. Recommended.

We had a wonderful experience at Côte Kensington! Yana was incredibly kind, warm, and attentive — she truly made our visit special. The chocolate mousse was absolutely delicious, one of the best we’ve ever had. Thank you for the lovely service and great food. We’ll definitely be back!

Also filled out the survey sent post-dinner but wanted to share this more publicly. Went here for my birthday and the staff were absolutely amazing. Alexandra and the lady with the lovely tattoos on her arms were so kind and welcoming. The lady brought over my free birthday drink which I wasn’t aware of but was thrilled to receive. They gave me a seat by the window which was great as it was a lovely day. The food was excellent (fish parmentier and a blueberry financier). It was lovely because they put a candle in the financier for my birthday which was so lovely and unexpected. Thanks for a fantastic birthday treat!!

Wow, all I can say. Cote have truly outdone themselves today.
Exceptional service from start to finish. Could not of asked for anymore.
Special Thanks to Robert, Gabriele and Manisha for making my evening so special. The attentiveness of each staff member made the experience memorable. Already looking forward to my return.
The cleanliness of the restaurant and bathrooms did not go amiss.
Amazing, thank you Cote!!!!!

This is a gem in the town! Food was great and service was excellent. My sons order the 2nd round after they had their fresh sashimi. My wife was happy with their vegetarian options (nice if they have more vegetarian selections). They kept saying it’s the best they had in London. Next time when we visit London and we will visit Yashin Sushi again!

Great tasting menu, we loved all of it! Food was tasty and the turbot that was recommended was also delicious 🤗 The service was outstanding, thanks to Norbert that took great care of us during our entire meal! He really contributed to the experience feeling very special.

The food was spectacular, the fish was very obviously high quality, as it just completely melted in my mouth, and the flavor combinations are genius. Our waitress Maple provided wonderful service, and she was clearly knowledgeable on the food and drink options.
It was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be returning.

We accidentally stumbled into this place and so glad we did. Great food and drinks, great atmosphere, and spectacular service. Henry, the manager, was personable and made us feel like we were at home. If you visit London, do not miss this place!

We popped in to this lively pub to take in a Formula 1 race and rest our tired feet from two weeks of travel. We ran into bartender Jack! Friendly, quick, and able to share with us some great tips for these weary travelers. His conversation and friendliness put London at the top of our list for most fun place to visit. Thanks for your great service.

The best food is always Maroush. The best shish wraps and shawarmas!
The tahini the pickles the chilli the meaty flavours all combine for a delicious treat!
You can never go wrong with their food here.
The service was fantastic too. Thank you very much from the front of house to the kitchen staff.

We ordered via Deliveroo. You don't expect much from a late night takeaway, however this was a brilliant choice!
The food was brilliant, large portion sizes and arrived warm. The only downfall was that we were missing one portion of Jawaneh , however, in the end one portion was plenty.
We would recommend the Soujok, Mixed Shawarma and the Loubieh!

Had a blast late lunch here. The portion size is considerably big for us.. just share 1 lunch platter and 1 wrap between the 3 of us and we were super satisfied. Amazing food and wonderful service.
The meat was juicy and crispy with strong yet gentle flavour. The dippings were smooth and salad was super fresh.

We always love coming to concerto. We have been to every branch in London. We love bonding and catching-up, a break from our busy life. Kensington branch is one our favourite place, where staff is very helpful and friendly. Food is amazing and we never leave the place without having floral tea and cakes.

Went with a friend for dinner , the place was bright clean & very busy. Amazing service as we walked in the staff acknowledged we were there and found us a table . Then we spotted a table available next to the windows and asked if we can swap , one member of staff ( shah ) was super friendly and asked us to wait till he clean the table for us and put clean cutlery .
Staff were very aware of allergies as the people next to us had some kind of nut allergy & the female waitress ( Bianca ) kept asking questions to figure out what was safe for them and what not by explaining the context/ingredients of each dish they wanted and promised to explain to the chief about their allergy
We ordered pasta dish & chicken Escalope do we can share and try two different dishes and the flavours were amazingly delicious
Great portions , we had two good size chicken breaded Escalope and a big portion of the white creamy mushroom/ truffle pasta . The chicken comes either chips or spegetti .
The place is beautifully decorated either way huge elegant chandeliers & fake flowers
Has a great collection & variety of cakes even gluten free option.
They have afternoon tea option & you can order once you arrive not like other places when they ask you to preorder afternoon tea ( they have gluten free option which includes GF sandwiches & GF scones)

We had a lovely Mother’s Day breakfast here yesterday. Such a beautiful charming place. The service was really good and the breakfast delicious and of course we could not leave without trying a desert, these look like a work of art and taste like it too.

We came in for an afternoon tea experience. Unfortunately it was very underwhelming. The food around us looked really good but the stack of food we ordered was just bland and was mostly bread - it could of been curated and seasoned better. Good scones though.

Cakes are very delicious - no questions.
Slightly disappointed by the coffee. Flat white and latte both lacked the taste of coffee. The coffee in this restaurant needs to be looked into seriously in order to beat Greggs or any home machine-made coffee.
The restaurant may also want to hire a few more staff, as we have waited very long time before we can get waiter’s attention to place order or get the bill. They seem to be busy with both serving food and taking in new customers, which should be two separate roles. 13.5% discretionary charge is not justified when staffing level could not meet the basic need of attention to customers.
I might not return to this area often but I wish this restaurant can improve.

The pani puri was one of the best we've had - it was such a wonderful blend of textures (crunchy and soft). The fish curry was delicious and creamy, and the black gram dal was so wonderfully nutty.
Service was excellent as well. It also had a very nice and fancy interior but not at a bad price point. Thanks for having us! Insta: @twochewfoodies

Chakra’s a great spot if you’re after flavourful Indian food. They’ve got some outdoor seating, and the street it’s on is nice and quiet. Everything we ordered was really tasty and came out quickly, which was a bonus. The only downside is that there aren’t many options for kids or for those who prefer milder dishes.

The Kensington Curry Club were pleased to hold their September meeting at Chakra Kensington. The most helpful manager devised a menu for the seven of us that included an inspired selection of starters followed by main courses that included a perfectly prepared ‘Old Delhi Butter Chicken’, Paneer Butter Masala, delicious Dal Makhani along with a range of accompaniments.
The service was immaculate and very friendly in the comfortable dining room….I expect that a number of our members will be returning to this delightful restaurant!

I had an absolutely fantastic dinner at Prezzo Italian, and I have to give a special mention to Rachel, the manager, for making the whole experience unforgettable. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home. Rachel’s attention to detail and genuine care really stood out she checked in just enough to make sure everything was perfect without being overbearing, and you could tell she genuinely wanted to make sure I was enjoying my evening.
Now, let’s talk about the food! I had the Carbonara for dinner, and it was incredible. The sauce was creamy and rich without being too heavy, and the pancetta added that perfect salty crunch. The pasta was cooked perfectly tender but with just the right bite. As a side, I had the Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp, and perfectly dressed. It paired so well with the Carbonara and was the perfect complement to the rich flavors of the main dish.
Rachel’s suggestions were spot-on, and her knowledge of the menu made the decision-making process so much easier. She really took the time to ensure I had a fantastic experience, and it felt like more than just a meal it was a memorable evening.
If you're looking for amazing Italian food with incredible service, Prezzo is the place to be. The food is top-notch, and Rachel’s hospitality takes everything to the next level. I can’t wait to go back for another amazing dinner!

Good. Had salmon rigatoni and then chocolate cake. Taste for both quite good.
Used Tastecard so got 2-for-1 on all dishes which was good which made it good value.
One surprising feature was the addition of service charge onto the bill at the end. This service charge addition is not mentioned anywhere on the menu. Hence I would recommend you to update your menus to clearly state that a service charge will be added on. This is surprising for a large chain like Prezzo.

Went here with family for a birthday lunch :)
The food was very tasty. But it was also quite expensive for food that did not feel very special.
I ordered the vegan burger, which was delicious, but was eighteen pounds without any sides which I had not realised. The mushroom bruschetta was great - as was the breakfast burrito, although it became slightly soggy. We shared the pancakes after which were slightly undercooked.
We had one nicer server, others were not particularly friendly (not mean just not very upbeat or communicative). They had some troubles remembering drinks and bringing us the right ones.
Nice place, cool, wide menu, but also expensive and feels a bit disorganised in how it’s run.

Chicken enchiladas were delicious although I found the portion to be quite small for what you pay. Bonus points for air conditioning which felt like heaven when it’s 32 degrees outside. Service was friendly and quick.

We first ate at Balan’s 25 years ago when we lived in London during a two-year secondment. It was our favorite breakfast place because their Eggs Benedict were stellar. Over the years, we have continued to visit Balan’s on return trips to the UK - and the food remains top notch. On our most recent visit, I had the “royale” version of Eggs Benedict with salmon. Outstanding!

It was a rather unplanned dinner for me and my family since we just wanted to eat in the area and saw they had nice menu options. It ended up being our favorite meal of the trip! The steak was well cooked, the thai curry was flavorful and the crispy brie were all amazing. The vibe was great and the staff were very attentive. Definitely would go back here the next time I visit London!
