Recently completed our 3rd stay here! Love love love this hotel! It is in a great area of London, very central, right near Holborn station. The rooms are fantastic and service and food is exceptional. We’ve come here during the festive period; this time we visited at end of July, we loved the outdoor terrace to relax, have a few drinks and eat. It was perfect! Highly recommend, Looking forward to our next stay!!

Dining Flexibility I appreciated having two distinct options for breakfast. The standard included option (buffet plus some a la carte) is good, though not exceptional. However, the breakfast in the Mirror Room is outstanding. While it comes at a higher price point, the quality and service are world-class and well worth the upgrade for a special morning experience. Scarfes Bar Scarfes Bar is a destination in its own right and a primary reason to stay here. Ranked as one of the best bars in the world, it lives up to its reputation with creative cocktails and phenomenal live music every night. It adds a vibrant, soulful energy to the property that makes the stay truly memorable. Verdict The Rosewood London delivers exactly what a 5-star hotel should: effortless charm, spacious comfort, and unique amenities. Whether you are there for the music at Scarfes or the quiet luxury of the rooms, it is easily one of the finest stays in London.

An incredible stay. Thank you for such a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, every detail for our children was thoughtfully prepared: the plush toys, coloring books, little slippers… these small touches truly make the difference and reflect the level of excellence and care that defines Rosewood. A big thank you as well to the team at Holborn Dining Room for breakfast. The service was impeccable, attentive, efficient, and genuinely warm throughout our stay. A special mention to the young brunette hostess at the entrance of Holborn Dining Room for breakfast, who made us feel extremely welcome and shared great recommendations, including the Citymapper app, which made getting around so much easier. You will never find better service than at this hotel! I have worked in hospitality now for 21 years, and I have never experienced such an exceptional team! Sometimes when you are in hospitality, you expect a certain level of service, and can be easily disappointed when it doesn't meet your expectations ( a blessing and a curse!). However, every single person at the hotel made us feel valued and gave us a unique, personalized, tailored experience that went above and beyond my expectations. From Huyen Davis (Sales) to Emmanuele (Hotel Manager), to the lively, warm and funny Scottish waiter in Scarfs Bar (sorry I didnt catch his name, but he is half Irish from Dingle if that helps ) was exceptional, the hotel is very lucky to have him and his wonderful personality. We had great fun chatting with him! Lori at the front desk gave us the warmest and most welcoming arrival experience and Nikol for the departure was so pleasant. Issai at Concierge really did us a solid and reserved us for cocktails in Gordan Ramsey's new Bishop Gate ( with window seats, thank you! ) when it was all booked out online - what an experience! Emmanuele was the most pleasant, welcoming hotel manager I have ever met. He gave me a wonderful site tour of the hotel and space. He takes pride in his career, and it really does show. I wish I could remember everyone's name, but from the bell staff to the breakfast and dinner waiters, everyone was incredible.Thank you! This hotel understands what it means to give 5 Star Service and all take pride in their jobs which show. They understand guests reason for their trip and what anticipates what needs will be to be able to tailor a unique experience for each individual. Hands down one of the BEST hotels I have ever stayed at!

We had the most amazing afternoon tea at the Rosewood for our wedding. The team were absolutely brilliant, right from the planning stage – even though it was a really small family affair, they never made us feel like our wedding day was anything less than top priority. When the day arrived, everything was set up perfectly and as soon as I walked through the door, I knew I could just relax and enjoy myself. And I was right! The food and drink were impeccable; the service was exceptional (the staff even went out of their way to entertain our niece and nephews with soft toys!); and we all had the most fantastic, memorable time. We had booked a room for ourselves overnight, too, and the suite, room service, and breakfast the next day were also fabulous. Thank you so much to Ellie and the entire Rosewood team for making our wedding so special.

I visited this bowling alley and while the lanes themselves were great, the experience was let down by the service. I paid for two games, but due to delays caused by other customers, we were not able to start our second game within our allocated time slot. When I raised this with the receptionist, she was extremely rude and showed no understanding of the situation. Her only solution was to let us play for five minutes until the slot ended, which was unacceptable given that I had paid for two full games. Fortunately, after speaking with the manager, the issue was resolved quickly and professionally. The venue itself is good, but the customer service at reception definitely needs improvement.

Recently, I went bowling with my friends, and it was great! The atmosphere was amazing: dim lighting, music, and the sound of bowling balls and pins. It was like being in a movie. We rented a two-hour lane, which was just enough time to get into the game, compete, and not get tired. Overall, bowling is a great way to have fun with friends. We'll definitely go again!

Pretty good bowling alley. Not the best beer selection in my opinion but enough for all tastes to be catered for. Just maybe not the brands you like. They do food as well, was not bad for that type of place. We had a great time so would recommend the place.

This location offers a bowling alley, a bar/ lounge area and a section for quick bites and eating. It's a really nice place. The staff were polite, the cocktail I had was really nice as well as the chicken wings. The price was fair and value foe money. We had to wait for about 20 mins for a free bowling area but it wasn't crowded. The bowling screens and area functioned properly. It's a nice place for a date night, quick bites with friends and generally great for group hangouts. The music choices over the speakers were great as well. I rate them solid.

Great hotel in a very convenient location. Nice, cost and clean. Lovely bar and a great breakfast in the morning. AC in room was a god send! The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back for another visit to explore the area again.

The hotel have a clean and welcoming entrence and a lobby bar and restaurant with lift to the rooms. I can really recommend this hotel just in the end of New Oxfordstreet. We stayed in a junior svit that was surprisingly big, and the room was really nice and clean as well as the bathroom. It was well organized with security safe, a bigger minibar fridge, the/water/coffe (Nespresso machine) and comfortable beds, pillows, quilta and beddings. The staff was super friendly and helpfull with anything we wanted. There’s noice from the road outside but it Will call down later at night and it dosn’t disturbe in the morning.

Very good location, making it easy to explore central London on foot or by public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast offered a good selection and was a pleasant start to the day. Our only small remark concerns cleanliness. Everything was generally fine, but for a 4-star hotel we expected a bit more attention to detail in this area. With some improvements there, the overall experience would be even better. Overall, a pleasant stay and a good choice for visiting London.

The staff was okay, nice but bot overly nice. The rooms need some work. We had a nice window seat but it was very dirty and there was no sitting on the mystery stains. Location was good but this hotel was not worth the premium.

We had afternoon tea here after finding a deal on groupon. For the price, it was amazing. It came out to less than 20 pounds per person. Tea menu was short but very nice, with coffee offered as well. The food was fresh and had nice variety. I really loved the scones with clotted cream, and we had been served a plain scone and one with raisins baked inside as well. The sandwiches were quite nice. I am not a sweet tooth so there were a bit too many sweets for my liking, but otherwise we really loved the variety and I would rather have too much than too little.

What a unique spot! Stopped here on our short stay in London as it was close to our hotel. The Victorian decor is fascinating, and the “stalls” that are partitioned off along the bar are so cool. We enjoyed the wheat beer and organic cider. Felt like I was transported back in time!

Popped in for a cold drink on a very hot day. This place is gorgeous, in every direction you look. The drinks are great - all Samuel Smith. Would go back again any day if the week!

Pleasant surprise that they had many Samuel Smith beers on tap. I've been drinking them for over 40 years so a bit nostalgic for me...but the Wheat Beer was excellent and hard to find. Stop in for at least One!

The interior of this pub is absolutely gorgeous. Good beer and decent wine as well. We didn't eat here but from what I could see, the food look fine. The staff seemed a bit confused while serving, though. Definitely worth a visit for the location itself.

I’m absolutely blown away by the quality and incredible taste of the food! Everything was beyond my expectations, and the staff were exceptionally professional, welcoming, and attentive. I’ve been wanting to visit this restaurant for such a long time, and I’m so happy to say that the wait was completely worth it. The steak chimichurri sandwich was honestly the best I’ve ever had — absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food and great service. A fantastic experience from start to finish!

Had a great experience at The Bountiful Cow. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and chips and everything was delicious. The burger was perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and the chips were spot on too. The service was amazing from start to finish and the whole venue has a great atmosphere. You can tell they really care about quality and customer experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and a welcoming place to eat in London.

Had such a lovely time at The Bountiful Cow. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious. A big thank you to Stella and Alex for their kind, attentive service, they made us feel so well looked after. It was also a real pleasure to meet Cveta, the owner and chef, who is truly lovely. I came here for my birthday meal and it was delicious, service was amazing, all the staff were so kind and food was so quick and SO tasty. we had the T-bone steak to share with a few sides and it was perfect for us. Have been wanting to go here for years and wish we had come here sooner. Thank you so much!!! Would highly recommend, hidden gem⭐️

Ambience : The moment we stepped into the place, it felt cosy and inviting. It’s kind of separated into an upstairs bar/pub and more of a restaurant downstairs. You can see the cooks making food. Most importantly the seating plan is comfortable and not squished together. The music, lighting and overall feel of the place is mysterious and mellow. Food: We were served by Alex. He was very professional, organised and friendly. Amazing culinary knowledge and positive attitude towards his work ethic. We had steaks. While the sirloin was more peppery, the ribeye was more tender. Good quality and very filling :)

A hidden gem. A historic treasure tucked away right behind Holborn station! The atmosphere, the service, the food, the history are absolutely amazing. The padron peppers were heavenly. The bread was hot and fresh, and the fish'n'chips were gigantic and, quite simply, flawless. Being here made me feel like a fairytale hero. 10/10 will come again!

What a delightful afternoon Sunday Roast. While you may have to explore a bit to find it, this historic tavern is not to be missed. The dinner upstairs in the Oak Room was delicious and the staff were amazing. Even with the large crowd, we were pampered and well taken care of. They were all friendly and helpful with our first British Sunday Roast experience. Explaining the meal and suggesting a wonderful ale to accompany it. They even celebrated our 25th anniversary with us. We will definitely mark this as a not to be missed experience in London.

We enjoyed a very delicious Sunday Roast at the Ship Tavern. We dined in the upstairs Oak Dining Room, which has a very traditional atmosphere. We shared a Butchers Board which came with the roast lamb, beef and pork. All of the meats were so delicious and full of flavour. The staff also brought out some sauces to go with each of the meats which complimented them perfectly. I found the Butcher's Board to be very filling, with a generous serve of the meats and lots of trimmings. If I had to pick a favourite roast it would be the beef with the horseradish sauce. Delicious! But you couldn't go wrong ordering any of the roasts really! I would definitely recommend booking as it can get quite busy! Also if you're into dark ales, you can't go past the Old Peculiar with your roast. A great place to come and enjoy a Sunday Roast in London!

If you’re looking for a classic UK pub atmosphere, The Ship Tavern is an incredible choice. It has that authentic, traditional feel that makes you want to settle in and stay for a while. The Food & Drink: The Food: We ordered the fish and chips and a burger, and both were awesome. The portions are big, very tasty, and definitely hit the spot. The Beer: They have a great variety of beers on tap. I tried the Old Peculier, and honestly, I think it tastes way better than Guinness—definitely worth a try if you’re a fan of dark ales. Value: For one order of fish and chips, a burger, and four beers, we paid £70, which felt very fair for the quality and the central location. The Experience: The staff was friendly and welcoming, adding to the great vibe of the place. It’s a fantastic spot to enjoy a solid meal and a few pints in a historic setting. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a true London pub experience!

What a wonderful find in the middle of London. This upstairs pub restaurant is definitely haute cuisine. The scallops cooked to perfection, the padron peppers delicious with beautiful oil and herb side. Gnocchi and lemon sole beautifully cooked, tasty and well portioned and presented. I have been to the Square pig at least 10 times for drinks. I went to watch the football game yesterday, and paid 8 pounds for a plate of fried squid. When the waitress brought the plate, I thought she had accidentally dropped half on the floor. Turns out the portions are abnormally small at this pub. I don't blame her tho! Whoever priced the menu is taking the absolute p*ss. Never buying food from there ever again lol.

Popped in on a weekday lunch time with laptop, got a table by the window in the sunshine. Was a great spot. Had monkfish and prawn curry, was lush on a crisp English day. Staff were friendly and helpful, would come again.

We visited My Old Dutch for brunch, and while the setting was nice, the overall experience was quite a mixed bag. The Food The food was strictly "okay." While the portions are generous, the quality control was lacking—one of our savoury pancakes was significantly burnt on the bottom, which really spoiled the flavor. For a place specializing in pancakes, you’d expect better consistency. The Service & Timing This was the most disappointing part. The service was completely inattentive. After taking our initial order, the staff disappeared. There were no check-backs, and we spent a good portion of our meal trying to catch someone's eye. We eventually had to look around and raise our voices just to get any attention. To make matters worse, we actually had to cancel our dessert order because they took so long to bring it out. After waiting an age, we simply lost our appetite and decided to leave. The Atmosphere On a positive note, the atmosphere was actually quite good. It has that classic pancake house charm and a lively energy, but the poor service and long waits really dampened the mood.

My Old Dutch Pancake is a superb spot for brunch, but I recommend making a reservation! We had a party of 5 and were seated in the lower level of the restaurant, which is pretty spacious. Their menu is very curated and each dish has unique aspects: I decided to go with the waffle with the berries, which was absolutely delicious. It’s even better with ice cream! The pancakes are very large so I’d recommend splitting among multiple people. It’s definitely very sweet so balance it out with some of the savory items, like the fries!

The original "My Old Dutch" pancake house was established in 1958. Since then, it has been providing pancake lovers a cornucopia of both savory and sweet pancakes. Not only that, but they also serve salads, traditional Dutch starters, and desserts too. My family and I tried the Hot Dutch classic savory pancakes, the Compote of Berries classic sweet pancakes, and the Strawberries & Cream Poffertjes. The Strawberries & Cream Poffertjes are exactly as it is, poffertjes with sliced strawberries and cream. The Compote of Berries classic sweet pancakes was heavier than we thought, but that was to be expected with all the berries. The best one was definitely the Hot Dutch classic savoury pancakes. The double fried cheese base, pepperoni, chorizo, and chillies made it like a thinly sliced pizza made just for breakfast!

My old Dutch pancake house is located in a good place. We found it by looking in internet. First time being in London and wishing a good breakfast place this restaurant is the one. If you like pancake 😄. We did order pancake not knowing how big it is. It was kind of nice surprise 😅. We loved it. Thank you for your friendly service in your busy time. We will come back 😃

The salad choice is great and reasonably priced. The warm buffet is a bit hit an miss - be careful with anything that contains minced meat. I had meatballs recently (not for the first time) and they were lamb. They weren't declared as lamb meatballs. I also had a 'beef pastry bake' and could taste lamb. I suspect they were a mix of beef and lamb. I can't stand lamb, so both times my money was wasted. It's just not on to not declare the type of meat correctly.

5 Stars all round! On my way to work I pop in for a light breakfast; my colleagues and I without a doubt always go for lunch.. Their hot food options are of such quality and variety that you'll never get bored. Staff are helpful and friendly, always served promptly!

I would give it 6 stars if I could. The food is so good that there is a danger you might bite your fingers, I suggest you try the lasagne and other hot food for lunch. The prices are more than reasonable, in fact far cheaper than other local options. Box of hot food under a mere £6. Fresh orange juice for under £2. Staff are very friendly and informative making it a welcoming place. I come for coffee and lunch Monday to Friday without fail and even during lunch the queue moves on efficiently like a Japanese train.

I was in the area for a few days for training and went here every day! A wide range of amazing tasting food. Coffee's are relatively cheap compared to other places and taste exactly the same (coming from an old barista). Hot food at lunch varies every day aswell as the salad bar. Would definitely recommend purely due to fresh and great tasting food aswell as the good pricing.

They offer a large variety of delicious and healthy foods, perfect for anyone who’s needs a quick bite to eat, or for anyone looking to sit down and enjoy a tasty meal.
