This location offers a bowling alley, a bar/ lounge area and a section for quick bites and eating. It's a really nice place. The staff were polite, the cocktail I had was really nice as well as the chicken wings. The price was fair and value foe money. We had to wait for about 20 mins for a free bowling area but it wasn't crowded. The bowling screens and area functioned properly. It's a nice place for a date night, quick bites with friends and generally great for group hangouts. The music choices over the speakers were great as well. I rate them solid.

I came here with my partner and a pre birthday gift in October 2023. I loved playing bowling here which was great fun, although we had to wait a while to get out lane even though this was prebooked. You also have a time slot which you need to keep to. Games are pretty quickly done here but was still great fun! The atmosphere in here was pretty cool and the cocktail drink we had was great! I would definitely recommend couples and groups to come and have a game of bowling here. There is also a chill out area that you can sit and relax before and after the game, make use of the selfie machine here which was really cool as a keepsake memory. Thanks again and see you soon!

Bowling games are good but with small issues. Before we started play, a lane developed an issue. Following this, my own lane had a ball issue - one less bell was coming on. Now seeing 2 issues happen in 30 mins tell me, this place frequently sees these problems. Additionally, they only allow you to book 1 game - which lasts 10 mins for one person. You really think people visit to play a single game ? That too of 10 mins? I would like the ability to book as many games as possible. Also they force you to have food if you want to play in peak hours. This sounds like a forced bundling to me. Should not be allowed. Guess this business is open for competition. Will see if there are other operators in the area which can provide better services.

5 star 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 service. Overall, it was a very welcoming service from the staff members, Jhon was very attentive to what was needed in my table, and went the extra mile to make sure everyone was happy with the service. I was allowed to decorate my reserve table, and the food was yummy 😋 and well portioned. I will recommend this place highly for the kids and adults to enjoy .

All Star Lanes is a fantastic intimate bowling alley, karaoke booth and restaurant venue. Great fun with plenty of options for joining one of the four main lanes or booking the private two lanes in the lodge (with a private bar and comfy seating). Really good food in the restaurant section located right next to the lanes. The everything Sunday was really yummy and would have been five stars but the Beignet dessert was really bad unfortunately and the price for what was served was pretty rude. Nice food overall but way over priced (didn’t even include fries with a burger) 🫤

Beautiful interior, far more detailed than my little phone camera could catch. Incredible wood, glass and tile work throughout the entire place. I only stayed for one drink but the organic wheat beer was the best I’ve had in London. Smooth, flavorful and a thin head that stays throughout the drinking experience. I’ll be back.

Great decor and atmosphere, but what makes this place even better is it's Samuel Smith Organic Lager! The pub also has unique dividers. If you get there early enough with a group, you can secure a small section.

Love this pub. Unique and fascinating. Well worth a visit, grab a booth at the bar if available. Not a fan of Sam's beers but the stout was quaffable.

Lovely old pub, very unusual layout inside with separate booths to drink in. It could be a 5star but we weren't in there very long. Elle who served us was very welcoming and friendly.

Everyone at my table was super impressed with this restaurant, including myself. The starters to the mains were exquisite 👌 Well presented and flavoured together so well. The meat was super tender and flavourful. I haven't had meat like that in a long time. The service we received was very friendly and professional. I also had a sneaky peek at the kitchen and I was blown away at how tidy and squeaky clean it was. It was shinning✨️ I will definitely be telling people about this place and will definitely go there again.

An amazing find off the main road in Holborn. Highly recommended and the food was excellent. Best tasting steak I have had in a while. Independently owned by a couple which makes it special for me.. You can feel the passion for the business and customer care.

Fantastic food and pleasant service! Definitely recommend to book a table for the upper floor and get the traditional British dishes: fish & chips, steak pie and the beef Wellington. The sticky toffee pudding is great.

The food was so good we did a double take! I cannot say enough good things about this place. This 16th century pub gives a classic Biritish Tavern aesthetician with dining on two levels. My partner and I came here to try to infamous Sunday roast and it did not disappoint. I ordered the lamb roast, my partner ordered the beef, and we shared a plate of fish and chips. Everything was delicious. Im still dreaming about the gravy that comes on the lamb roasts. Before departing London, we returned to Ship Tavern for a farewell pub meal. This time we ordered the chicken and leek pot pie and the cheeseburger. Both delicious but the pot pie stole the show. Our cocktails were the perfect compliment to our meals. Every drink we ordered was made to perfection and went down smooth! (Old fashioned, Espresso Martini, Bramble, and Whiskey Sour) Shout out to Beth, our bartender, a true talent. Our experience at Ship Tavern wouldn't have been what it was without our server, Sian! She was super patient and personable and answered all of our questions about the menu while providing valuable suggestions.

Hate to review this pub as I don't want it to be spoiled. But it's absolutely one of may fave pubs in central London. Esp around Christmas time. It's a beautiful pub and the staff are always a dream and really helpful esp if you want a taster of the different ales. Beer is amazing esp if you are a real ale drinker. That's a rare find in London too! Good real ale! Always meet interesting people here too! Hear the food is great but never tried it. Simply put - this is a real gem and beautiful British pub that are sadly disappearing from the UK at an alarming rate (or are being butchered by modernising them - like the Tom Cribb). Massive thanks to the bar staff that are always (and I mean always) superb and friendly.

The Oak room is a stunning place. Restaurant was great to discover typical British gastronomy. Had a great time here in a unique atmosphere. I recommend the beef wellington.

Went for a team Christmas lunch and fair to say that everyone was pretty disappointed with the food for the money. Service took a long time (understandable when busy but almost 4 hours for a 3 course meal?) everyones main courses were missing items from the description on the menu, and when we asked the staff about it they went off and never came back with an answer. Portions were very small and the quality of the food wasn’t amazing, so for over £40 a head, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

It could have just been catching the team behind the bar at a bad moment, but being a tourist and having an hour to kill before dinner, I wanted to order a drink. I asked for the drinks menu and was told they didn't have one. I was offered one of the beers they had on tap and, when I asked whether they had wine, the nicest person in the group provided me with a wine menu with a warning that the prices may be out of date. That's fine, ordered a wine which was only cents off the price on the menu. When I sat at a table, there was a wonderful cocktail menu with some pretty amazing cocktails that would have been nice!

A very large, modern pub with outdoor seating and a function room downstairs. Some TV screens available (to watch the rugby, on this occasion) but they don’t dominate the pub. A large range of craft beers and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

This is the second time we’ve visited The Old Dutch. It’s a real treat for adults and kids. The menu is extensive, the staff are friendly and the food itself was super scrummy! Whether you want a full English or traditional maple pancakes, this place has it! It’s not the cheapest pancake house in town but you’re paying for the unique experience - great for a special occasion.

A great variety of pancakes from sweet to savoury, there are options for everyone. You can even create your one. Loved my pancake, at the beginning it looks so thin but it's so big and stuffed, that is more than enough. The ingredients looked all fresh. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. The décor, in my opinion, is the only downside, it looks so artificial with all the plastic flowers. Recommended.

Fantastic crepes and a vast menu of choices, both savory and sweet. We tried the Nutella crepe, the smoked salmon crepe, and the butterscotch pancakes. All were delightful and worth trying. The service was OK, nothing bad but nothing exceptional. The feeling inside was sterile but adequate. For the food, we would most certainly return.

Always a queue outside! Yummy pancakes of different kinds from savoury to sweet! Staff polite, friendly and prompt service. Lovely food and ambience. Would go again! Be aware, the toilets are downstairs in the basement seating area of the restaurant so will not suit wheelchairs or those with mobility issues. Didn't see any disabled toilets upstairs but worth checking.

It was mid, at best. Ordered the savory pancakes so it's relevant only to those. We thought they were pretty dry and lacked seasoning. Mine was the Eggs Florentine, supposedly with creamed spinach and some cheese. There was no creamed spinach and a rather measly amount of cheese. Mostly fresh spinach on top but it didn't even have any seasoning so it was bland. For the price you pay, I think it's not worth it. Greek salad was roughly chopped veggies with lots of (good) olive oil and great cheese. Place itself is very instagram-able.

The salad choice is great and reasonably priced. The warm buffet is a bit hit an miss - be careful with anything that contains minced meat. I had meatballs recently (not for the first time) and they were lamb. They weren't declared as lamb meatballs. I also had a 'beef pastry bake' and could taste lamb. I suspect they were a mix of beef and lamb. I can't stand lamb, so both times my money was wasted. It's just not on to not declare the type of meat correctly.

5 Stars all round! On my way to work I pop in for a light breakfast; my colleagues and I without a doubt always go for lunch.. Their hot food options are of such quality and variety that you'll never get bored. Staff are helpful and friendly, always served promptly!

I would give it 6 stars if I could. The food is so good that there is a danger you might bite your fingers, I suggest you try the lasagne and other hot food for lunch. The prices are more than reasonable, in fact far cheaper than other local options. Box of hot food under a mere £6. Fresh orange juice for under £2. Staff are very friendly and informative making it a welcoming place. I come for coffee and lunch Monday to Friday without fail and even during lunch the queue moves on efficiently like a Japanese train.

I was in the area for a few days for training and went here every day! A wide range of amazing tasting food. Coffee's are relatively cheap compared to other places and taste exactly the same (coming from an old barista). Hot food at lunch varies every day aswell as the salad bar. Would definitely recommend purely due to fresh and great tasting food aswell as the good pricing.

Went here for Sunday roast with zero expectations and was blown away. Incredible food and quick, attentive service. While full, the venue felt spacious. Service was fast. Drinks were great. And the food elevator was fun to watch.

Really good dinner. Very peaceful if an early eater like we are. About 5pm the place was very attentive and food came quickly. Good variety of food and it was all very good. Highly recommend.

This is an interesting pub. I was there at 16.30 on a Monday afternoon so it was not too busy. The bar staff were very friendly and prices very reasonable for the area (double Makers Mark, £9.80). They had a limited range of draft beers including 2 cask ales. They also had 2 cocktails on tap. They have many events including quiz nights, open mic nights and a DJ (Friday and Saturday nights until 2am). They do say that they are the oldest licensed pub in London, not sure I agree with that. Certainly a nice pub, but I am guessing the clientele differs during the day.

Great food but disappointed by the lack of pub ambience as the owner painted the walls white like snow. I had a meat ale pie and my wife had a parmeggiana, both plates were delicious. One of the first licensed pubs in London, they put in a plate (would it be true?). Worth the visit, I may return some day.

Authentic Italian restaurant in a convenient location. Good range of food, well cooked, and fair prices. There is a 13.5% tip automatically added to the bill though. Would recommend booking as it does get busy. We were a party of 6 and had booked but doubt we would have got seated if we hadn't.

First of all, the atmosphere is light and fun and the waiters paid good attention to us and were happy to answer questions. The menu was clearly marked with a number of vegan and vegetarian options. The food is fresh and there is a great balance of flavors. Would highly recommend. Pros: Close to hotel, Food came quickly, 80s music

Popped in for a quick bite to eat with my daughter. The service was very quick and friendly. We both had pasta mains that arrived promptly and unusually for a lot of pasta courses, piping hot in warm bowls. Truly excellent food, will make it a regular place for us to meet up. Nice wine selection for me to work through too 😉

We enjoyed a delicious meal here. We all highly recommend each of the dishes we had - bruschetta, spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti and meatballs, penne arrabiata and gorgonzola pizza. Service was quick and staff were friendly without being overbearing. Thank you for a nice evening out!
