5 Star Rating The Lanesborough never disappoints. Helpful and ordered staff. Very much like coming back home each day. A quiet retreat from the bustling streets outside. I highly recommend for longer stays! The butler room staff is well trained and attentive. I have never waited longer than five minutes for any request. Very good treatment of our four legged friend too. Thanks again.

5 Star Rating I took my friend to The Lanesborough for the Queen Charlotte Afternoon Tea as a 40th birthday treat. The hotel is beautiful and grand, but not at all pretentious. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. The staff were attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Mario was especially charming. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the added bonus we didn’t expect was that the tea and sandwiches were unlimited. We had a wonderful time enjoying our tea (we tried the Lanesborough Breakfast and Queen Charlotte blends; both lovely), and food in the beautiful dining room, with a pianist setting the scene. The atmosphere was lovely and we didn’t want to leave. We left comfortably full and the staff boxed up our leftovers to enjoy at home. Also a special nod to the Queen Charlotte cocktail, which went down a treat. This felt a truly special experience and I highly recommend. Thank you to The Lanesborough team for a wonderful afternoon.

5 Star Rating The Bridgerton Afternoon Tea was one of the best I've ever experienced in London and I've done a lot of teas in London. The staffs were attentive and very pleasant. The afternoon tea sandwiches were delicious especially the Truffle egg mayo. The Book of Eloise (blue) was my favourite sweets on this occasion. Bottomless tea/coffee. Optional champagne. Everything was great!

5 Star Rating The Afternoon Tea was delightful, I appreciated that you could order as much food as you wanted for a fixed price. The waiters behaved impeccably. I just wish the chocolate sweets were less sweet, it took a bit out of the natural taste. But overall a lovely experience with a Regency era feel.

5 Star Rating This is the original Hard Rock and in my opinion THE BEST ONE EVER!! I’ve been to quite a few in America. This one bay far puts the rest to shame. The level of music memorabilia is way better than all of the other ones. The food was perfect. The service was great. The atmosphere was alive. What else could you want?

4 Star Rating This was a unique experience going to this original iconic restaurant. This location was the very first Hard Rock Cafe ever. It had a ton of cool stuff on the wall. Food was about the same as the Hard Rock Cafe everywhere else. But this one holds an iconic charm, being that it is the original one. We came here because of the location, not necessarily because of the food. Although on this particular day our servicer was good, friendly, and knowledgeable. Food came out fairly quick and hot. I would recommend this place, even if it was just only for the history of it.

4 Star Rating Phenomenal Experience! The welcoming service was great, as they made accommodation though we didn't have a reservation. Victoria who was our service provided flawless service and she was very attentive to us. The drinks was delicious! We watched the bartenders make our drinks and they're chemistry and excitement was unmatched by any bartenders we witnessed. Unfortunately, the food the both the burger and rib was over cooked. The presentation was great though. Overall we had a great experience!

5 Star Rating My husband and I have been to many Hard Rock Cafes. We did not know that this was the first one ever, so that made the experience even better. The staff is always super friendly and this time it was no different. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable and even gave attention to my 19 month old son. He had a few other tables, but we felt like we were his only table. The food was also really good. I highly recommend eating here!

3 Star Rating Great location not far from the tube. Excellent service by the friendly waiting staff. The food was lovely served fairly swiftly, everything warm & tasty. The decor is certainly part of this attraction to see, the music was a tiny touch on the loud side as we struggled to hear one another talk on a small table. All in all a great venue & certainly worth a visit at least once.

5 Star Rating Probably my favorite pub in London, love how it’s hidden off the back alley cobblestone streets. Love the decor and the variety of cask ales, love the historical aspect and apparently it’s haunted. One of the bartenders was nice enough to take me to the basement and show me the area where the body was buried. The food is also excellent , their beef Wellington is delicious! The burger, lamb and duck are great choices as well! It’s a great pub to see for sure anytime you are in London!

5 Star Rating Off the beaten path this pub was exactly as I hoped it’d be. It’s cozy, inviting, has character all while the food and beer are fantastic. Fish n chips were great and were washed down with Neck Oil and Guinness. The money attached to the ceiling give you plenty of things to look at while enjoying your visit.

5 Star Rating Tucked away on Wilton Row and not far from Hyde Park Corner this place is a real undescovered gem. What it lacks in size it more than makes up for in charm and character. There's outdoor seating along the edge and places to perch outside (a real sun trap if you time it right) and the inside is bigger than you would think. A good selection of beers and a great group of locals make this place a must visit for any passing wanderer (but don't tell too many people about it please!!!).

5 Star Rating Went to The Grenadier to be able to try out Beef Wellington in London. The location was tucked away in a small side street close to Hyde Park, and had a bit of a hole in a wall feel, which was interesting. The interior of the place had an old English vibe, and was split into a pub and a small restaurant area. The soup of the day was really good - not overpowering, but with great, whole-boded creamy flavor. The Beef Wellington itself was pretty good, but what shone for me more were the potatoes and vegetables that came with the beef wellington; the brocolli and potatoes were so well flavored and soft. The price was not too expensive as well - for one person just the Beef Wellington would be enough; I may have ordered a tad too much with the soup and all. 4.5 out of 5.

4 Star Rating We had one of the tasting menus on offer for our lunch this week. Personally I wouldn't do that again, it was 6 courses but felt needing more food. Next time I would order from the menu instead. The quality of the produce used was amazing, really could taste the quality. Service was good, nothing special tho. Not a good enough experience for me to rush back for.

5 Star Rating Nobu is a famous global restaurant brand, frequented by famous people. The chef’s memoir sits proudly on the front counter, if you are thinking of going for dinner here, you have probably planned and saved up for dinner for a long time, and potentially even have some ideas and expectations of what you hope to experience when you do. The menu has a range of amazing sushi, nigiri, sashimi, wagyu – I was keen to go with a degustation option, as it is my favourite thing to do at fancy restaurants if I can, as it gives a chance to try a range of things. They have two degustation options: a £125 ($238 AUD) and a £190 ($362 AUD) option – either way this was going to be the most expensive meal of my life. The £125 Signature Omakase menu includes some of the most iconic Nobu creations. The more expensive option includes some of the more top end Wagyu, and I’ve never got too into the Wagyu thing. Their website explains that 'omakase' means: "I'll leave it up to you", so, to ensure I could get a comprehensive taste and sense of what the renowned restaurant offers – that’s what I did. Because I know I might never get to go places like this again, so when I do, I tend to want to ask the wait staff a lot of questions to clarify the things that I want to better understand about what I'm about to eat, or what I just ate. The Nobu wait staff were good at answering my questions and helped me pick wines. I am from Australia, and so find advice and guidance useful, even if most of the advice is often to suggest I go for the most expensive glass. Being from Australia, I am also still getting used to the concept of a “15% optional service charge” – which was £58.80. The cost made me think I should have asked more questions – but that will be the last time I mention the price – let’s get into describing the absolutely amazing meal and dining experience. I started dinner with a cocktail. The name of the drink was: “Summertime Sadness”. It may link to one of the profoundly tragic events of the creator’s life, but there is nothing about the drink itself that doesn’t bring joy, comfort and bliss. The ingredients are “lavender, buffalo trace bourbon, citrus, cucumber, ginger and maple” – read out that list and try and think of sadness, you won’t be able to. Following on from the name, the description for it is: “that unexplained knot in the soul when everything is fine,” it made me consider not ordering it, but I am very glad I did. The presentation of the food was simple, elegant, and well considered. The variety of dishes in “omakase” was well considered and included their sushi, famous black cod with miso, and fillet steak with mushrooms. All of these now rank as the best of their kind I've ever eaten. If the food wasn’t so well considered and balanced, the whole review would probably have been about how hurt I was when the bill arrived. I can see why the style of cuisine pursued passionately by Nobu Matsuhisa, and the chef’s at each of their establishments, are so highly regarded. The food has a sophisticated refinement, an excellence that requires skill, focus and effort to make it seem simple. Unless you’re a Kardashian, this is a place for special occasions, a place to share with someone special, a place to reflect on moments and milestones that matter – and that's what we did. While the talk on the walk back to our accommodation was mostly about how we probably shouldn't have spent that much on our anniversary dinner – it was also about how when we are older, we will look back one day and reflect with laughter about how one special night in London, we took a chance, called and got a table at Nobu. We spent more on dinner than I did on my first car, but I feel blessed to have eaten there. It was an awesome shared experience. It is worth the price because the combinations of flavours cost a lifetime of focus, experience and mastery to create.

4 Star Rating We had the Signature Omakase tasting menu for dinner. 3 cold dishes, 2 hot dishes, and a dessert. Personally, I wouldn’t get the omakase again because I still felt a bit hungry afterwards. The service was average. Not particularly special. However, the quality of the food was really good — particularly the sashimi. You could definitely it was fresh! The Black Cod Miso was DELICIOUS. I would just get that as a main dish next time. It’s a bit pricey, but the Black Cod Miso is definitely worth it for a splurge meal/special event.

5 Star Rating At the Metropolitan Mayfair Casino, Ms. Pretty, consistently cultivates a fusion of global cultures at the heart of London. Her events embody an exquisite blend of diverse arts and cultures, captivating audiences with each endeavour. My wife and I have found immense joy in attending her gatherings. We express our sincere appreciation for her remarkable efforts. Our recent experience was enriched by a unique combination of Qawwali and Sufi music—a first in London. The talented performers effortlessly delivered complex melodies, leaving the audience enraptured with the evening's cultural tapestry. Complementing the music was a meticulously curated selection of Indian cuisine presented in traditional Thali style, showcasing flavours from across the subcontinent. Though the evening concluded after a few hours, its impact lingered, leaving us yearning for more. I extend my best wishes to Ms. Pretty, Management, Executives, Staff of Metropolitan Mayfair Casino and the Musicians, her entire team for their continued success in all endeavours. 3 Star Rating We came in here because the wait at the hard Rock Cafe was over an hour. The friendly lady greeted us and let us settle down. We chose steak and ale pie with triple cooked chips and a Korean bbq chicken burger with chips. A pint of cider and a j20 came to £40. The food took quite a while to arrive, just over 30 minutes and the pub was not busy. The chips weren't very nice but everything else was ok. The pub is a very old pub, over 400 years, but it didn't seem to show any original features off. Overall it was ok but could of been a lit better.. thanks for replying. Ill pop in next time I'm up.

Of course it's not a cheap experience but it feels high-end and worthy of a celebration meal. 3 Star Rating Having stayed and eaten at a number of Intercontinental hotels and always been impressed, I decided to book Sunday brunch at Park Lane for Father’s Day. It sounded good and varied when booking but when we arrived, the restaurant was somewhat underwhelming (poor decor, dimly lit and not at all fitting of a 5* hotel) as was the salad and cold buffet. At £70 a head I would have expected far more variety and a higher quality of produce. The bread rolls were cold and relatively tough (and not with the salad buffet at all but with the sweet buffet!) Our waiter was very pleasant but clearly new to the role and not particularly responsive. The beef wellington was delicious and the star of the show and for a buffet the vegetables and roast potatoes were well cooked but the chicken looked unappealing and I would have expected whole chickens roasted and served rather than rather pale and unappealing thighs on a heated trolley for a five star hotel. The sweet section was okay but all very cake based and the cheese was again somewhat standard and without crackers, chutney/qunice or fruit. At an additional £8 a coffee, I felt ripped off for what was standard filter coffee at best and £8 for a small Diet Coke also felt steep. At almost £300 for two adults and two children it massively failed to reach expectations and I am unlikely to return to the hotel for any of its dining options in the future as a result. A real disappointment sadly and a waste of money. There are many, many far better options in London for a fraction of the cost….

5 Star Rating Had a great experience at the restaurant for brunch menu. The food variety was amazing. The bakery selection was good but great quality. They had a cold salad bar with cold meats which was also great. Especially enjoyed the cold salmon. Ordered egg benedict what came with ham. My preference is salmon which was a shame. The roast was also amazing had chicken which was finely cut strips, salmon (felt this was slightly over cooked so it was dry), roast potatoes and veg. The desert selection was really good with fruits, choc cakes, cookies, muffins also Nutella choc sauce, fresh cream and other sauces. Most importantly the staff was amazing 👏

For starters we had lovely seeded poppadoms, jumbo tandoori king prawns, and for our main chicken shish kebab served from an iron skewer, lamb curry, their signature chicken karahi, pulao rice and lovely red wine to go with😌 The best Pakistani food I have ever had! Will definitely be going back. It’s a wonderful place for a romantic dinner. Hidden gem in the heart of Belgravia. It’s on a little side walk right opposite the Berkeley hotel so it can easily be missed!

I’m still thinking about it. I usually take a million photos at dinner, but after I dug into the lamb, I completely forgot everything else. The chicken Karachi and the briyani were also great! Also our server whose name I can’t recall, but is pictured here, was so courteous and friendly (despite his lack of a smile here). Definitely coming back for the lamb!
