Exceptional Spa Butler Service
I had an outstanding experience at the spa at the The Lanesborough. From the moment I arrived, Lela, the spa butler, provided truly exceptional service — warm, attentive, and highly professional throughout my visit.
Every detail was perfectly managed, from the welcoming tour of the facilities to the thoughtful preparation of towels, refreshments, and relaxation areas. Lela anticipated my needs effortlessly, creating a calm and luxurious atmosphere that made the entire experience unforgettable.
The level of care, discretion, and genuine hospitality reflected the very high standards of The Lanesborough. This is luxury service at its finest, and it made my spa day feel truly special. I would highly recommend the spa to anyone seeking a flawless and refined experience.

My sister and I attended the Bridgerton themed afternoon tea at the Lanesborough today and wow what an experience. We were made to feel so welcome and greeted by warm friendly staff who catered to our every need. We cannot fault anyone as everyone was just so lovely and kind.
The food was incredible and very generous with portion sizes and endless amounts of tea.
Special mention to Raffaella who was so lovely and made sure we were well looked after, she is an absolute credit to the Lanesborough.
We have been a few times before and will definitely be back soon, as we love the afternoon tea so much 💚
Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!

I like writing glowing reviews, but I don't flinch from writing bad ones. Nowadays life is lived in superlatives and so many are misplaced. You're a "legend" if you simply turn up somewhere with a bag of nachos.
Friends asked me to join them for a dining experience at the Lanesborough Grill. For a modest price, modest people can eat modest food from a modest 3-course menu. I was told in advance that the dress code was, inevitably, modest. So, suitably attired, our modest party turned up at 6:30pm and settled down with a glass of champagne to ease the burden of deciding what to eat. The large dining room is furnished with well-spaced tables sitting in little pools of light. The carpet gobbles up any sound. It's not that hard to imagine you're the only person dining. And yet, there's still the comfortable ambience of movement. It's the gentle vibration of a well-tuned engine.
The restaurant staff were friendly, efficient, intelligent and kind. They didn't hover like flies around a jam jar. They appeared when needed and disappeared when not. A special mention goes to our sommelier. I find sommeliers rise to the occasion when you're honest, tell them what you like and what you can afford. If living the dream is cracking the cap off a £10.00 bottle of chardonnay from Morrisons, the sommelier will have a good idea of what you like. They can point you in the direction of something that may be a little nicer than you're used to and still remain within budget. Our sommelier ticked all those boxes.
The food was nice and presented in a manner that befits a 5-star hotel. The wines were sensibly priced and our selection was sold by the glass. I'm pointing this out because no one in our party has more pennies than they can wave a stick at. We came for an experience we might not otherwise make the effort to afford.
Our visit and "experience" was, for me, exceptional and it's not a word I bandy around. Why, because the staff elevated it above the normal. In a 5-star hotel you expect not merely good service, but very good service. Our visit was better than that. But, I would add this. You get back only as much as you put in. Restaurant staff are not servants. They're agents performing a service. Engage with them respectfully, listen to what they say and leave them with the impression that what they do matters. If you want a good dinner, be a good diner.

Bridgerton Afternoon Tea Review at Lanesborough Hotel:
My partner and I came here for our anniversary to enjoy this AMAZING afternoon tea experience. We had the champagne afternoon tea! The food was delicious and we were particularly grateful that we were allowed to ask for refills in the sandwiches! Everyone is very friendly and helpful, especially Rafael! The decoration is so luxurious that it feels like Victorian England.
All the sandwiches and pastries were freshly made!
Overall, we had a wonderful afternoon, totally worth it! We recommend it for any occasion!

I visited with friends last week for Spa treatments following an overnight stay the previous week. I love this hotel. Everyone is friendly, polite and welcoming. The Christmas decorations this year are the best ever. Thank you to Asia, Justina and Dr Galyna for the pampering and making me feel so special. We had a lovely lunch in the spa, the Chicken Cesear salad was delicious as were the juice shots. Thank you again for such a wonderful day.

We had an absolute awesome time at this Hard Rock cafe! We decided that we would try this one after visiting the Piccadilly one on one of our previous trips to London... saw a bit of a queue as we walked closer but managed to reserve a table without an issue. The lady showing us to our table did so with a smile, and engaged with the kids a little.
Once we sat down we was greeted by our server, Tom, who was one of the best servers I have ever had at a restaurant! He sorted the kids out with their drink, got them their toy and kept on top of my wifes soda refills - many of the time before she even got to the bottom of her drink! I was talked into (fairly easily I guess) into getting a cocktail... and later also a second...! We was very impressed, when he acted on my son telling him it was 'nearly' his bday by popping a candle in his milkshake as an its almost your birthday treat! Couldnt fault the chap, he was very on the ball!
Thankfully food was also excellent, and I had tried the Halloween burger special (to go with the Halloween cocktail!), kids went with pizza, and my wife went with ribs.
We had a great experience here - I suspect the kids will want to return, and based on this experience I probably wont be stopping them! 😀

We visited as a family and had a great experience. We ordered half a rack of ribs, one kids’ cheeseburger, three adult burgers, and some nachos. Everything was very tasty and well served. We really liked the place: it has a calm and pleasant atmosphere, with a noise level that allows you to have a conversation comfortably. It’s also very close to the underground station, which is very convenient. Prices felt quite reasonable for London and for a place like this, with burgers around £20. The total bill came to around £120, and the service charge (gratuity) was already included. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended, especially for families. We would definitely come back. 🎸🍔

Last city on our month long Euro/Uk trip hitting up every Hard Rock along the way and this location was by far the best experience.
It was my birthday this past November when we went to the original location. We took a tour of the vault first and met the most informative and enthusiastic vault keeper, as a music lover this was so amazing. Dinner was great and the host was wonderful, they even brought me a birthday sundae with the whole restaurant singing. At the end of our meal the vault keeper stopped by our table to chat some more about the history of the cafe and all the legends who’ve walked through the door as well as some tips of locations to visit that us music lovers would appreciate. Hands down BEST tour we have EVER had !!!
Thanks for making our last stop on our tour ( and birthday) the most memorable

Visited the Hard Rock Cafe for the first time and had a great experience. I tried the buffalo wings and they were really tasty, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The atmosphere was amazing, lively but still comfortable, with great music and vibes. Staff were friendly and service was fast. Overall a very enjoyable visit, I’d definitely come back again.

Great food and absolutely excellent service! The staff was very friendly, attentive and professional. The atmosphere is a bit hectic, but that’s probably normal for such a popular and iconic place. The only thing I missed was a big sign clearly showing Hard Rock Cafe London — it would have been perfect for taking a photo with my cocktail in front of it. Overall a great experience, we really enjoyed our visit

Was not disappointed...was looking forward to this for a number of weeks. Was seated even though we didn't have reservations (recommended) and enjoyed a number of delicious selections from the menu... Scallops, beef Wellington and a fine Nero.
The jus was a revelation...
Polite, efficient and friendly service.
Worth a trip, and the multilingual guests are a guarantee of the high quality found in this establishment.
We're glad we came, and appreciate the efforts made on our behalf.
Come here, but, perhaps make reservations to make your experience that much better!

My wife and I come to The Grenadier every year just after New Year and it never disappoints. This visit was no exception.
The fish and chips were exactly what you hope for here. Beautifully crisp batter, perfectly cooked fish, proper chips, and not greasy at all. The beef Wellington was outstanding. Rich, tender, cooked spot on, and paired with classic accompaniments that show real care rather than shortcuts.
The Grenadier manages something rare. It feels deeply historic and timeless, yet the food remains consistently excellent year after year. Service is warm, efficient, and genuinely welcoming, even when the pub is busy.
And of course, no visit would be complete without acknowledging the resident ghost. The story goes that Cedric, a young Guards officer, was beaten to death here in the nineteenth century over cheating at cards and that he still makes his presence known. Thankfully, on this visit he limited himself to atmosphere only and did not interfere with the Wellington, which we very much appreciated.
A proper London institution, full of character, history, and fantastic food. We will be back next year and hopefully Cedric will be on his best behaviour again.

Just before Christmas we were able to pop in for a quick bite. They were so kind to squeeze us in. Actually delicious pub fare. You can tell they go to great lengths to ensure everything is high quality. We had the prawns, burrata and cured salmon and all were so fresh and delicious.

Had a great evening at the Grenadier together with my colleague. The Filet Wellington was very tasty and they have a good selection of beers.
Staff is super friendly and attentive. The crowd was also very cheerful and nice which added to the great atmosphere of this location.
Definitely visiting again!

I chose this restaurant because they offer the most affordable Beef Wellington I could find in London — a good starting point to try this iconic dish for the first time!
Coincidentally, it’s Mid-Autumn Festival right now. In Việt Nam, we eat bánh trung thu - mooncakes during this time. I realized that Beef Wellington and mooncakes actually share a similar concept — both are savoury fillings wrapped in pastry — so it felt like the perfect time to give it a try during my vacation.
The Wellington itself was tasty. The pastry was crisp, and the beef was cooked well. At certain bites, it had a rich, almost liver-like texture and flavor, which made it feel quite indulgent. The jerusalem artichoke purée and veal jus were a bit too savoury for my taste, but overall, the flavours worked nicely together.
We arrived at 6:30 PM without a reservation and couldn’t get a table, but the bartender was very helpful and set up chairs for us at the bar. It ended up being a cozy spot to enjoy the meal.
Overall, I had a great experience at The Grenadier. A nice place for first-timers to try Beef Wellington.

Haven’t been in a while. The food remains excellent. Who would have thought a mushroom salad would be the unlikely hero of the meal. All the usuals still up to scratch crispy rice with spice tuna, jalapeño yellowtail, rock shrimp etc. Should visit more.

Had the lunch omakase (£75). The most impressive dish I would say is the Shrimp Tempura Salad. Seasoned well and the tempura shell is perfect. The main dish here is the Miso Beef or the Sea Bass fillet. The filet is a better choice since the beef is a bit too salty. Ending with an amazing dessert with layers of coffee, vanilla ice cream, honeycomb, which is perfect after the main course.
TLDR; worth a try if u would like to have a Western-Japanese fusion style meal.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my 31st birthday here.
Following a previous visit to the other Nobu branch; I knew the yellow tail jalapeño was a non negotiable, must-order item!
As before it was deliciously tangy, fresh and moreish. An absolute 10/10!
Additionally we indulged in the beef tenderloin tataki and the for the mains we selected the lemon king crab and lobster but to our dismay we were informed the lobster had sold out, therefore this was supplemented with octopus. Quite frankly, it wasn’t what we wanted and over all, I was very disappointed with the lack of depth or any real flavor in this dish. I requested some chilli sauce and to my surprise, the chef prepared me a chilli butter. This was truly spicy and delicious but I’m not sure it salvaged the truly bland dish. We also indulged in the crispy squid which was unique in flavor as the batter had powdered jalapeño in it. Crispy, unique and also very moreish. In my humble opinion, a tinsie bit more salt would really make the flavors stand out a bit more in this dish.
My date and I were invited to sit at the window-table, but because the tables were all relatively closely together, we felt like we would have been intruding if we had sat at the spot offered to us by our server. A couple looking very cozy were already sitting at the window seat and it seemed all the other available window spots were taken. We requested to be seated at any other table and were unfortunately very awkwardly placed at the table in the center of the room/ and closest to the till. (See pics below for reference) … this table was a bit too in the center and in the ‘middle’ for an intimate evening if you ask me, however I can’t fault the staff as I thought the waiters were very attentive and happy to advise.
Lastly, I was extremely pleasantly surprised as a platter with ice cream on it and a hand written ‘happy birthday’ across it was presented to me at the end of our fabulous meal.
A beautiful and kind gesture that truly tied the evening together.
Mira Gunn - 2 months ago
At first, the restaurant was extremely noisy, which really affected the overall mood and dining experience. That said, the service from our server was genuinely attentive. He proactively wiped the table twice during the meal and cleaned up food crumbs without being asked — a level of detail that honestly feels Michelin-standard.
As for the food, I ordered the most expensive omakase set, but the only item that stood out was the wagyu, which was decent. Everything else — including the sashimi and sushi — was very average. The sushi quality felt more like a budget sushi place: the rice variety wasn’t great, it wasn’t properly prepared, and the ingredients were nothing special.
In my opinion, this set is worth around €90 at most, not €190.

Absolutely amazing! Seriously, I’m so glad I did a little research and found this casino! I was a long time member of Ritz Casino club, but since its closure, I’ve never found anything I enjoyed- until now! Metropolitan Casino exceeded my expectations so much!!!! I went on a whim having just discovered it online whilst I was in town visiting friends, and I escaped for the late evening solo to try it out! I registered online for membership and it was an exceptional experience from arrival, to playing time perks, and superb hospitality. I’m a big fan of manual dealer blackjack for personal interaction - as I hate automation, and the traditional feel is my favourite; and this casino was fabulous!!! The reception / cloak room ladies are friendly and it was my first time! I have no idea why there are some bad reviews here, maybe if you’re polite they will be polite back? I loved all the staff!! The restaurant was phenomenally yummy, and served late hours- perfect for when I needed a break from cards, haha! The Arabic flair mezze was just what I wanted and superb value. All the waiters, dealers, and cashiers were just so nice! I had a great time. Even though I lost, I had such fun all night thanks to the hospitality- what a casino is all about. I’ll be back, and now I know a good casino exists again with my favourite manual blackjack, I’ll purposefully make the long trip from where I live, to stay over in London and play here!!! A great venue with fab service, food, drinks, and environment; thank you from North Wales, see you soon! Thanks for looking after me on my first visit.

A great time to be in. With a great people working here. And my special thanks and gratitude to
Mr. CJ & Mr. Joel & Miss Marta & Mr. Rumen. For making this trip so amazing and inspiring us. By their own outstanding and amazing service we had.
Keep up the good work guys we liked this place because of you.
“And for the poor lady at the table she knows her self “super visor” she had a poor judgment on me and my winning times. I will keep my head up and will not affect my visits or rating on the place. But Managment must take care of this kind of behavior away before it affects the place reputation. She knows what she did”. Instead of talking with your colleagues must take action on audience issues and don’t take things personally.
I might recommend this place to others.

Decent venue to grab a quick bite to eat and play casino games. The restaurant is quite loud, so it's not the best place for a quiet meal, but the decor is stylish and sleek with friendly and helpful staff to explain the menu. The food was tasty, and the portion sizes were good. Drinks were reasonably priced, and overall, visiting here was a good experience.

Visited for a few hours on a work trip to London. Had a great BJ dealer for a couple hours. But then had a very bad experience with a second BJ dealer. I asked a simple question "what does the book say", she replied with "you're the gambler, you should know" but not in a light hearted way. Proceeded to berate me and basically tell me I should never ask her that. Very sour attitude for the 2 hands I played with her. But otherwise, this place is a top notch spot. Just stay away from the one miserable BJ dealer.

Impeccable service, elegant ambiance, and amazing food as always at the Metropolitan Mayfair Casino, London.
On Saturday, 21st September 2024, during a break between meetings, I stopped by for a quick bite.
Mr. George, the energetic and knowledgeable bartender, recommended the Lebanese Mezze, which was outstanding.
His expertise on the menu and dedication to service were truly impressive.
I enjoyed chatting with him while awaiting my meal, making the break from Electronic Roulette even more enjoyable.

Famished from my self imposed walking tour around London, I came across this gem, opposite Green Park. I stopped in for a quick bite and ended up staying for nearly two hours! It was very cozy and very welcoming.
I had the fish and chips and it was exquisite! The fish was so huge! I had plans for dessert but had to abandoned the idea as I felt as a puffer fish looked!
Jay, my server, made me feel as though I was dining at the Ritz. His care and attention to me was first class and greatly appreciated, thank you sir! I shall definitely be back.

Located inside the InterContinental London Park Lane, Theo Randall at the InterContinental is positioned just off the main foyer to the right as you enter the hotel. On arrival, guests are greeted at the maître d’ desk where umbrellas and overcoats are taken, tagged, and stored.
We met friends who had visited before and, as we sat down, they warned us that the service could be disappointing. They described the waitress covering the section as cold, unfriendly and mechanical — an impression that unfortunately proved accurate throughout the evening. Orders were taken without warmth or engagement, and questions about allergies were repeated excessively, at least six times, often at random points during the ordering process and again when dishes were delivered or cleared.
There were also several poorly judged service moments. The plates used for the complimentary olives and bread were removed while we were still eating our starters, which felt premature and unnecessary. Later, during dessert, glasses were cleared while we were still actively eating with forks in hand, which felt intrusive and badly timed.
When the bill arrived, we asked for the service charge to be removed as we felt the service had been unwelcoming and the pacing inconsistent. The manager dealt with this politely, apologised and offered post-meal drinks, which we declined.
The food itself was generally average. The Pappardelle con Ragù di Manzo — fresh pasta with slow-cooked beef, Chianti and San Marzano tomatoes — was enjoyable but extremely heavy as a dish. The Ravioli di Aragosta, filled with Dorset blue lobster and served with a tomato and shellfish broth, were pleasant.
For mains, the Orata al Forno (pan-roasted sea bream with Roseval potatoes, fennel, Datterini tomatoes, parsley and caper sauce) was cooked well, although the Datterini tomatoes had an oddly pickled flavour that felt slightly out of place. The Branzino al Forno — pan-roasted sea bass with asparagus, Italian spinach, white wine sauce, porcini mushrooms and thyme — was also well cooked, though the porcini mushrooms were barely noticeable in the dish.
Dessert was underwhelming. The chocolate cake was particularly disappointing and the cheesecake was fairly ordinary.
The atmosphere also detracted from the experience. The room was very loud, partly due to a large table of around ten diners seated behind us who were speaking loudly, but also because of a live singer performing in the restaurant. With very few soft furnishings to absorb sound, the overall noise level made conversation at the table difficult.

Last visit was in 2015 and a lot has changed ever since. The restaurant was refurbished however one thing that didn’t change is the simple yet tasty and well presented and delicious food. Mr. Randall himself is always present making sure the food is perfect. The menu isn’t too long and a degustation option is available too. I enjoyed the seafood risotto, simply the best I ever had. Panna cotta was absolutely amazing. Attentive service, from the managers to the waiters everyone was extremely attentive and friendly. The restaurant is at the Intercontinental Park Lane, nobody will be disappointed.

From the moment we arrived 2/11/26 for lunch as a party of 3 the experience was wonderful. Vanessa our server was professional, attentive and lovely. We ordered the lunch set menu which was an incredible deal and well executed. The dining room was well lit and so inviting. We all had the beseola. Then one fowl and two pastas. Cheesecake and affagato for dessert. The food was just delicious and we enjoyed everything. They had a serve charge which is well earned as the staff is great! I would eat here again. For the price the value is amazing.

Sunday brunch @InterContinental Park Lane in the Theo Randall Cucina Italiana restaurant.
£69 per person for unlimited starters, brunch items made to order (eggs, crepes, pancakes), bakery, Sunday roast and desserts (£55 without the roast). Booking is for 2 hours.
Sunday roast options were unlimited and included (a really good) Beef Wellington, chicken, slow roast lamb (a favourite), sea bass and mushroom en croute with roasties and veggies.
£20 extra for free flowing sparkling wine (for 90 mins).
The dining room had a very casual vibe and full of both couples and families with young children. The price point puts it in a special occasion category but with a relaxed atmosphere.
I was expecting more options but in this case it was quality over quantity.

An amazing experience! You will not be disappointed with this Pakistani fine dining experience. Curated dishes, excellent recommendations, and the perfect taste. We had a wonderful time here tonight, and we will be back again. Everything was perfect.
We had lamb chops and chicken tikka starters, with Peshwari nan. Followed by the house special lamb with shammi kebabs, and pilau rice on the side.
Dessert was very special, the infamous Gajar Halwa and the special Kulfi.
Nicely complimented with a cup of with Karak Chai.
The service was excellent, the whole experience felt unrushed, calm, and attentive. I highly recommend a visit to Salloos if you have fine taste, and expect high quality service.
Well done Salloos team! Hope to visit again next time I'm in the area.

As a private flight attendant I was instructed to obtain catering from Salloos. Both of my experiences working with Salloos have been seamless from ordering to delivery. The food presents beautifully and tastes amazing! Thank you Salloos for being a professional establishment that gets service and food.

Knightsbridge hidden gem and great choice for anyone who loves Indian food. We were well looked after by Yoko who guided us through the menu.
Spectacular food, melt in your mouth lamb and the shish kebab being highlights. Perfect level of spice with a good kick but not overwhelming.
The Gajar ka Halwa dessert was also delicious. Excellent food, fantastic service and great location–highly recommend.

Still one of the best curries in London. The kidney curry 🍛 is to die for. I would eat it every night if I lived in London.
A wonderful birthday night ! Thank you Salloos …….

Had the pleasure of eating with a friend at The Lanesborough Grilll. We choosed the Festive Menu and were very happy with it, all the flavours were balanced and some surprising (definitely suggest to take the Hazelnut Brioche with the Chicken Terrine.)
We also took the Tomato Salad and Hash brown from the à la carte Menu which were both delicious.
The Service was attentive yet not too much and the live music definitely added some extra to the ambiance.
Will come back!

I really wish I could say we had an amazing meal here, but unfortunately, we did not. I am a cook and I was really looking forward to this meal as this place has great reviews. I booked this for my birthday. The venue is absolutely stunning. The atmosphere and jazz band were amazing. Their wine list is extensive and expensive. We ordered a bottle of Morgon beaujolais, which is one of my favourite wines.
However, the food was a massive letdown. I had the scallop to start. Absolutely tasteless! Hubby had the tuna, which was nice but nothing special. We ordered a side of tomato salad, which was nice, but there was absolutely no seasoning on it. This is sacrilege. Tomatoes must have salt!
We shared the beef wellington. I prefer my own, I have to say. Not much beef inside, way more mushroom to beef ratio. The sides were cold on the plate, and the truffle mash was ice cold. The red wine jus had split. When the waiter poured the sauce all over the plate, he really should have noticed that the sauce had split, but he was oblivious. When I mentioned the ice cold mash potato and veg, a manager came over and made a huge deal of bringing us more mash potatoes.
I am attaching photos. If you zoom into the beef wellington, you will see the split red wine sauce all over my plate. This put me off ordering desert as I couldn't take any more disappointment. Our bill was £300 including a £31 service charge.
Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed the environment, the music, the service, the wine. But the thing I was looking forward to most was the food, and I was so underwhelmed.

What an incredible restaurant.
I celebrated my 30th birthday here when it still held a Michelin star and was called Celeste. Even back then, the experience was exceptional.
This time, however, it was even better. Truly five-star food, elevated by outstanding service from Jahid, who took wonderful care of us and made us feel special and genuinely welcome throughout the evening. Attentive but never intrusive, friendly yet always professional.
After several mouth-watering appetisers, we chose the signature Beef Wellington, one of the best we have ever had. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the earthy, savoury notes from the mushrooms and Mediterranean herbs added an extra layer of depth and complexity to the dish.
What to pair with such an extraordinary, rich, and multi-layered plate? Enter Aneesh, impeccable, knowledgeable, and a true master of his craft. I asked for his advice, torn between a Bordeaux blend and a Nebbiolo-based wine. He guided me toward a Langhe Nebbiolo, explaining in detail why it would pair better with the Beef Wellington. And he absolutely nailed it.
To anyone reading this review: do yourself a favour and follow Aneesh’s genuine advice. You’ll thank me later.
I’m very much looking forward to coming back soon.
Many thanks to the entire team for creating such an unforgettable experience..

Every dish was made with great care and creativity — beautifully presented and full of flavor. The service was excellent and friendly, and the restaurant itself was stunning, with elegant lights and a warm, comfortable atmosphere. It was a dining experience I’ll always remember.

5 star service. A lovely dinner experience in a warm, relaxing down to earth atmosphere. Impressive blue/white Wedgwood decorations in the restaurant. Formally known as Celeste. Now English cuisine instead of French Cuisine. Very good quality.
We love to come back for a fifth time experience.
