Lovely French Classic, good foods with good selection of wines and French ciders. For the starter, we had Grilled mackerel, scallops and pate’ which were delicious, little less impressed with the main course but no complaints here, worth stopping by after visiting Kew Gardens

Impeccable service, fast and efficient in a well located area of Richmond (near to the kew gardens station)
Really the best is food quality, a genuinely french bistró, with excellent ingredients combined. Additionally, exceptional french baguette!
Would totally recommend it

Honestly, we have eaten around the world and would say this is one of the best restaurants “pound for pound”. We had fresh, beautifully cooked and presented food. Service was very good and is a cute little bistro - amazing French food! I was very impressed and will definitely be coming back as is so close to Kew Gardens. Couldn’t recommend Ma Cuisine higher enough

SO delicious and amazing value. £28 for three courses, in Kew Gardens, in 2024?!! Delicious seared tuna, followed by chicken, vegetables and delicious dauphinoise style potatoes, plus a chocolate and brioche pudding and lovely wines and brilliant service- thank you!!

I had a fantastic dining experience at Ma cuisine The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The food was exceptional – everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I especially enjoyed the sea-bass and the French baquette and butter The attention to detail in both the service and the cuisine made for a memorable meal. I highly recommend Ma cuisine to anyone looking for great food and a welcoming environment. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Decent atmosphere but well below par and pricing well off.
The reality is it’s just way way overpriced for what is very average food.
My order: Smashed Avo on toast (£12.50!!), plus one very small poached egg (+£2.50), plus some chorizo (+£4.00) making at total of = £19 for the meal in the photo attached… that’s outrageous…. The quality is very average (5/10).
Partner ordered the sweetcorn fritters (£16.50!!! Mental) with bacon. Bacon came out black so had to send back. Waitress rolled eyes when I asked for some less carbonated bacon…
In summary - average food, 30% overpriced, average staff.
Coffee was decent however.

The food was okay, but the service was very slow. The wait staff appeared to be taking to each other/joking around rather than waiting on tables. Saw my server drop the sugar container used by customers to add sugar to their drinks to the floor and pick it up and put it back without cleaning it. Quite concerned about food cleanliness standards/ hygiene training among staff after having witnessed that. Takes the cake when you have to pay 15% for poor service. Would have no issue if the service was actually good.

Great! We live nearby and have eaten here many times over the years. The food is always amazing and freshly prepared. For breakfast we regularly take the eggs Royale. For lunch I have had the fish cake, pie, chicken burger and pizzas and can recommend them all. It is not the cheapest restaurant in Kew but the atmosphere is great and the food very good quality.

We were rather underwhelmed by this place. The food is good, but not outstanding and it certainly does not meet the high prices. We (two adults and one child) tried the pizza, which was fine, three starters, the Whisky & maple cured pork tomahawk, duck fat chips and one glass of wine and this came to over £90. The pork was around £25 and it was basically a few cuts of meat and two bits of grilled corn. It certainly didn't feel like a £25 entrée. Value for money for us wasn't there and the service was average.

I’ve been coming here for 5 years but have felt let down by it recently. I tried to give it one last go and was so disappointed. The new evening menu is overpriced and the 3 meals that came were not worth there price, the picture is for Taco’s at £26! They told us 5 things on the menu weren’t available, including the reduced pizza choice because there was no ‘pizza chef’. The service was clumsy and slow, with the final final frustration being the automatic addition of 15% for service on overpriced food. The UK has minimum wage for all industries and I chose not to pay it. We need independent restaurants in the village but they need to provide a good experience.

Lovely place for an afternoon tea. The red velvet cake is so good! Earl grey tea is great! Ambience is cosy. The shop front looks small, but they have lots of sitting area inside and even an outdoor garden at the back, lovely!

Cute little coffee shop round the corner from Kew Gardens. Lots of cakes, pastries and sandwiches on offer. We had just had lunch before popping in for coffee so didn’t get a chance to try any of the lovely things on display. They have a fair bit of seating at the back too.
All the syrups you could want on offer (except salted caramel which was the only one we wanted!!) but we went for iced caramel lattes and they were delicious. Nice strong coffee and the perfect amount of syrup. Lots of drink and food options and a cosy vibe inside

I love this place. It's very cosy, great atmosphere, perfect to come with a coffee and a book! I love that they have comfy chairs unlike many other cafés. The little garden inside is also very cute!

I visited Kew at the weekend but didn't eat here. I'm sure the food is very tasty and good quality but this is something that I can't get off my mind. I really think you're missing a trick with your name and believe you'd have more customers / would gain more interest if you renamed your shop BBKew. Everyone loves a good (or bad) pun and "Kew BBQ" is a bit of a mouthful (if you pardon the pun) so l think you should reconsider your name. I can’t find an email address to send this to, so leaving it here. All the best!

Stopped by for lunch. The owners and staff members were friendly. Ordered fish and chips, and chicken kebab. Both were delightful. The fish was great but the chips were just OK. The price was decent for the amount of generous portion. Both dishes came with some veggie on the side. This restaurant is right by the Kew station.

The fish and chips here is AMAZING! Super fresh, as they cook to order! The chips were great also, good service and the whole place looks so very clean and hygienic!

We wanted something tasty and walked the 9 minutes here from the Kew Gardens. All the food was amazing and served piping hot. We all ate for 10 pounds each, a great bargain to many other stops we’ve had.

I seriously love my fish and chips and this was hands down the best fish and chips I’ve ever had in my life.
Everything was completely made to order and boy was it worth the wait.
The batter was so crispy but not greasy and the fish was so juicy and succulent in the middle. It was literally cooked to perfection.
The chips were amazing too. Not to crispy and not to soggy. A perfect blend and you can tell they use really good potatoes.
Really friendly service in lovely little area. Just a shame I don’t live closer as would be here every Friday!
Highly recommend!!

I've never had better fish and chips anywhere else. The cod was so fresh, tender and flaky to perfection, exploding the sweet flavours of the flesh after you break through the crunch of the sumptuous crust. Had the cod roe too, love that quirky side. I was savouring my meal in a nice little seat outside the shop, and a local bloke tells me this is the best fish and chips in London. No argument mate. The only problem was that I don't have more stomach space or more time to taste every fish on their menu. Unexpected gem to end my trip to London.

The best fried fish I’ve ever had in my life. The fish was freshly fried. It has a thin and crispy coating and a very tender interior. People there are also very friendly. Absolutely amazing. Highly recommended!
