We booked a table at 9:15pm after checking out the Orchids After Hours. We were a bit concerned it might be too late since the kitchen could close not long after we arrived, but the chef was super cool and waited for us until dessert was served. The food and service were amazing! We felt really welcome and relaxed—it was a fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be back!

A delightful little spot! Food is delicious, service is great and they do a set lunch menu with a great variation of choice! Would definitely revisit!

We traveled to Kew Garden and tried this restaurant. We ordered from the lunch course menu. The food tasted good. The service was horrible. 1) The final bills were wrong, if we didn’t check, would ended up paying £8.5 for things we never ordered. 2) The small plate for bread looked like a saucer. 3) The staff came to clean the plates of starter while I didn’t finish the food. I made this situation clear but the staff insisted that I could put the remaining food in the ‘saucer-like’ plate, for him to continue taking my stater plate. Based on the whole experience, we rejected to pay for the service charge. Also, FYI for the dog owners, the restaurant is not dog friendly.

I was here for the Confit de canard, but they don't have it today on the lunch menu.
Scallop for starter is amazing, cooked tender and melt-in-mouth, with flavourful sauce and puree. Big love for the Sea bass, couldn't get enough. Service was warm and welcoming.
If you are visiting Kew Garden, come here for lunch! You will not be disappointed.

Both the service and quality of food exceeded expectations. The waiter was an absolute joy, fun to chat with and made every effort to make our dinner one not to forget. Every dish that was ordered was to the highest quality. You cannot go wrong with eating here, highly recommend.

Last weekend I visited a cafe located on Station Approach near Kew Gardens, which is about a 10 mins walk from the Underground Station.
The cafe offers outdoor seating with plenty of space and has a lovely, cozy atmosphere. Inside, the decor features warm colors, wooden accents, and charming plants that create a welcoming vibe. The walls are adorned with interesting artwork, adding to the overall charm.
The staff were very friendly and always smiling. I ordered the Tiramisu and Mocha, and the latte art was beautiful! Both the food and coffee were quite nice.
I’ll definitely come back and try other options next time!

It's really lovely coffee, pastry, sandwich place, and much more. Had 3 morning brews there with a pastry and one lunch. Lovely service and excellent food. Highly recommend 👌.

Cute little coffee shop round the corner from Kew Gardens. Lots of cakes, pastries and sandwiches on offer. We had just had lunch before popping in for coffee so didn’t get a chance to try any of the lovely things on display. They have a fair bit of seating at the back too.
All the syrups you could want on offer (except salted caramel which was the only one we wanted!!) but we went for iced caramel lattes and they were delicious. Nice strong coffee and the perfect amount of syrup. Lots of drink and food options and a cosy vibe inside

Lovely place for an afternoon tea. The red velvet cake is so good! Earl grey tea is great! Ambience is cosy. The shop front looks small, but they have lots of sitting area inside and even an outdoor garden at the back, lovely!

This was the most delicious fish and chips I've had for a long time, you must try
Errol King - in the last week
Crisp golden batter, no soggy fish or chips here. Chips have a good crunch and even for London this was very well priced. Left my bag and the looked after it for me.great people great eatery.

I seriously love my fish and chips and this was hands down the best fish and chips I’ve ever had in my life.
Everything was completely made to order and boy was it worth the wait.
The batter was so crispy but not greasy and the fish was so juicy and succulent in the middle. It was literally cooked to perfection.
The chips were amazing too. Not to crispy and not to soggy. A perfect blend and you can tell they use really good potatoes.
Really friendly service in lovely little area. Just a shame I don’t live closer as would be here every Friday!
Highly recommend!!

Debbie is the loveliest and friendliest host ever! And not just that they've got the food to back up their amazing hospitality.
We had the spring rolls, which are all handmade.
For mains, the original one with pork ribs and the veggie noodles.
Everything was delicious! Highly recommend visiting.

Randomly walked in for food. Ordered lunch. Had the Chicken One which is fried chicken with noodles, tsingtao beer and jasmine tea. The noodles were good and serving size was generous, but could have been more spicier and flavourful. Beer was cold, delicious and served promptly. The jasmine tea was a teabag tea. The best part of this place is it service and ambience. It's a small family run place owned by a very cute, old couple that make nice conversation with customers. I think by far the friendly and prompt service is my favourite thing about this establishment.
P.S. the opening and closing hours mentioned on Google maps may be inaccurate as the place was listed as closed when I went in.

One of a kind spot. We sat outside In the sun. Food was absolutely delicious, came quickly and was very reasonably priced. The best thing is the service, it’s a family run business and the lady who looked after us was incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend coming here. We live over an hour away but will definitely be back.

Sorry, no food in the photo—because I finished every last drop of the soup. I should have taken a picture earlier, but it was just too good to wait. The noodles and soup are prepared with such care and attention to detail, and you can really taste the effort put into every bowl. As good as any noodle bar you’ll find in Hong Kong!
Just a heads-up—make sure to check the opening times, as they only open on weekends as far as I know. Definitely worth a visit!

I’m not the biggest fan of Chinese food as I find it greasy and oily so I had a judgement before I got here. However I was completely wrong. This is the best Chinese I’ve ever had. Simon is a miracle worker in the kitchen !! His pork ribs were nothing like I’ve had before, so crispy on the outside but so juicy on the inside. Falls of the bone. Deffo a must if you’re visiting! The veggie spring rolls were not greasy at all, so fresh and really full with flavoursome filling. The vermicelli noodles were so Smokey and flavoursome too. The sweet and sour sauce is light and fresh and not full is msg crap which is usually sticky and bright orange. Leaves you feeling full and satisfied without feeling sluggish. All cooked fresh to order. Debbie and Simon are the loveliest hosts too cannot ask nicer people. Thank you Debbie and Simon for such a wonderful experience ❤️

Pleasantly surprised! I tend to avoid chains but popped in for a quick Sunday lunch with the family. The service was quick and the food was better than expected! Only negatives were than the gluten free pizza base was extremely sad looking- please provide better ones. When you are paying same price as regular pizza, you expect the same quality regardless of dietary requirements. Also the main host/ manager was quite brusque- not very helpful, rude tone of voice and not welcoming. We felt a nuisance to her. The other servers were fab.

I recently visited Pizza Express in Kew and had an absolutely fantastic meal, alongside some amazing service from our waiter Arsh. I haven’t been to a Pizza Express for a couple of years, but I feel like they’ve upped their game in terms of the quality of both the food and the restaurant. Upon arrival, we were greeted and shown to a table, where we were given one of their menus – and I have to admit – it took me a while to decide what to eat as it all sounded so good.
I settled on a Padana pizza, with some dough balls to share to start with – as a visit to Pizza Express wouldn’t be complete without dough balls. The pizza was gigantic and really flavoursome; I added some chicken too, which really added another dimension. For dessert, I went for one of their smaller desserts with a coffee, which was a great idea, and the Biscoff cheesecake was amazing.
The service we received from Arsh was as good as the food. He was friendly, attentive, and nothing was too much trouble.
I would highly recommend a visit to Pizza Express in Kew – it’s a great option after a day wandering around Kew Gardens!

Just went in to get a cookies and cream frappe, was told they were out. The guy at the register was so friendly and suggested to tiramisu one, made sure I was aware there was coffee in it. And the lady made it. They offered to make me a new one if I didn’t like it and they were so lovely and quick with making my drink. They really made my day 🫶

Nice Starbucks! Stopped by to grab some drinks and snacks. Had the Matcha Frappuccino and Peach Iced Tea. Both were great and the baristas/staff members were friendly and very speedy. One of the few stores that open a bit later in the area but with limited seating especially after 6/6:30 PM. Overall it was great and not too crowded while we were there.

Absolutely amazing!
Dinner at Q-verde was such a delight for a Friday night.
The food was divine and the wine was delicious 🤤
Although it is small, the staff were courteous and attentive while giving guests their privacy at the same time .
Have I talked about the food??
We were a party of 16 and no one complained about anything. Our food came at the right time and at the right temperature; no one’s order got mixed up.
I would certainly recommend!

Very pleasant experience in Q Verde. Excellent service, food, vibes, and absolutely worth the price. Been 5 months in London, this is the best! Moreover, it’s just authentic Italian food ❤️. When I went here with my husband for his birthday, my husband was also surprised with a wonderful ice cream. Thank you, Q Verde!

Absolutely amazing - I felt like I was transported to Italy with the amazing service & delicious cuisine here. The specials included a Black Truffle Ravioli to die for! One of the best Italian restaurants in London - couldn't recommend it more :)

Attractive Italian eatery in close proximity to Kew Gardens. Service was friendly and attentive. Although the pasta was well cooked we felt that we could have produced a similar tasting dish at home for a fraction of the price. The orange chocolate cake was luxurious and a decedent was to end a well rounded meal.

Ate antipasti only and was well worth the journey. The zuchinni fritti is a winner. The chef got mussels in and did them in an amazing Prosecco sauce. Everything was excellent and Girardo was so welcoming! The Limoncello was perfect for the end.

Pre-Booked a table explaining I was a wheelchair user. Got the and lovely member of staff got the ramp out to ease access getting inside. Was me by really nice chap, which showed me to my table, opened a tab, and told me to just nod at a member of staff if I need anything saved getting up. Spent a really nice few hours there. They are scheduled forna refit in Sept, and I'll defo be back and the fact that it's literally next to the station means the 1.5hr journey made the need forna drink well worthwhile.
Many thanks to Deseis, Malvern, Richard & Kim. Fantastic manners and polite and hospitable. Gave a suggestion about having the history of the building, which will hopefully happen as part of the refurbishment.

I came here with some friends and we had a very pleasant stay! The location is really pretty and comfortable, the service was friendly and kind. The food was also really tasty, warm and made with care. I had a starter and a main course, it was a bit difficult to finish everything because the portions are quite big, but everything was delicious. I would definitely recommend!

A great pub in the heart of Kew, just a few minutes' walk from Kew Gardens and right next to the tube station. They've got a huge selection of drinks, including craft beer, spirits, and lots more.
They have a nice indoor seating area, as well as a charming little outdoor terrace which is a great place to sit and enjoy a drink – watching the world go by.

Lovely atmosphere pub with a great selection of drinks! The staff are so so friendly, and have gone above and beyond in their help for us! It's a lovely place to go in the evenings after a long day of work, a lovely place to go on a day off before heading out into the city, or just a lovely place to go as a destination in and of itself! With it's variety of drinks on offer, and themed evenings and events (which I'm yet to take advantage of but will do soon!), it's a great pub and the only pub left in London attached to a Underground station!! Well worth a visit!

Love this cafe. Just a shame I live far away. I was visiting the National Archives and researched beforehand what was nearby, and thought this looked good. And I was not wrong.
Small selection of Japanese food. All good.
We had tea and it was particularly good. Nice & strong, and they offered a free refill (which we took up).
We sat outside in the gorgeous afternoon sun. The cafe is located in quiet small square/courtyard, so is a lovely place to chill out.
Their opening hours are quite unusual, so you best check beforehand.
FANTASTIC, polite service.

I was initially drawn to the lunch bento from other people's reviews, so I decided to try the lunch set. It was served on a single plate rather than in traditional bento compartments, which was a bit unexpected. The pork was a bit cold and some pieces were slightly overcooked. Considering the price, I felt it was a little expensive for what I got. That said, the service was friendly and the staff were welcoming. The space has a casual layout and is sometimes used as a live music venue which adds an interesting touch. I didn’t try the coffee, but at around £4.50, it also seemed slightly on the pricey side.

Finally tried this cute Japanese café near Kew Gardens - cozy, simple, and full of musical touches (there's even a piano!).
💛A Hidden Gem in London.
🍤Tempura Prawns - Light, crispy, not greasy - so good I ordered more!
🍜Udon > Soba - Both were tasty, but the chewy udon wins.
🍱Bento - Simple grilled salmon + sides - nothing fancy, just delicious.
🍙Cod Roe Onigiri - More flavorful than the beef one.
🍵Matcha - Freshly whisked, super rich.
🍡Walnut Daifuku - Crunchy and sweet.
Such a charming spot - perfect for a quiet meal or people-watching!
