I never usually order sea bass but I had the best one of my life here, I couldn't believe how delicate and non-fishy it tasted. We had the three course lunch menu and were absolutely stuffed, the dessert portions were way too big to finish! I would recommend just sharing one dessert.

Had a very late lunch here on Sunday. The place is not too big, not too small, very pleasant atmosphere. 2-courses meal costs 25 GBP, tasted great. I think that's so nice and affordable for this good french cuisine, in London! Would love to try more dishes if I come around Kew Garden again.

An extraordinarily tasty lunch in a charming small bistro in Kew. The set lunch menu offered superb value for money and everything looked and tasted wonderful. The assiette of pâté with small pickles, a sweet honey mustard dressing and slices of cold meats was delicious, light, and perfectly balanced. My main of parmesan crusted chicken breast, with morel mushroom slice, baby potatoes, pickled red cabbage, and broccoli was both filling and very enjoyable. A large glass of the house rosé went down very nicely indeed - all for the exceptional price of £39 per head. A true gem of a place if visiting Kew Gardens.

Had a late lunch here after a visit to Kew Gardens. Two courses for £25 with a great choice of French bistro food. Had salmon assiette to start which was deliciously fresh followed by Confit Duck which was so tasty and fell off the bone. Quick service and excellent value. The type of restaurant we dont see much of any longer but need to.

We were very lucky to get a table on Christmas day for lunch after being let down at a restaurant we had previously booked. they offered a set menu- £110 for 3 courses, plus a glass of bubbly. The starters were very nice, my husband had the scallops and my daughter and I had the cheese with cranberries and chestnuts. Unfortunately the traditional turkey course was not very nice. they had mixed cabbage and horseradish together and put this under the turkey. We couldn’t see it at first but wondered where the awful taste of horseradish was coming from with every bite of our turkey. It completely overpowered the turkey and the sides were so small it was pointless. they cut 2 sprouts in half each, 1 half of roast potato each, a parsnip and a piece of broccoli each. It was very disappointing and not at all nice. The turkey was good quality and even though a small portion was given, that could have been overlooked, had it not been overpowered by the cabbage mixed with the horseradish underneath. Also, I noticed a very long, black hair in my food (this person needs to wear a hairnet in the kitchen). Desserts were disappointing, my husband’s apple tart tatin looked terrible, like a melted toffee tart and our Christmas puddings had been over-microwaved. We appreciate that they did fit us in on a very busy day and the service from the lovely waiters was very good. Unfortunately the food let it down.

A real gem of a place.
Authentic Italian pasties and coffee. The food I had was delicious and I had a mocha which was very good.
You can tell that everything is done to the very highest standard.
Plenty of seating and a garden add to the lovely atmosphere.

The cafe looks cute and my husband's sandwich was ok. But the sfogliatelle that I ordered was dated, not fresh, with smell of fridge and it was ice cold. When I told the male server about it ( could be the owner), they got me a new one from kitchen. That one was fresh. So why not serve the fresh one in the first place? And when they asked me how was the second sfogliatelle, the server acted like they are not the problem but I was. Thanks for the attitude. By the way, please consider cleaning your salt and pepper grinders. The woman server was nice though. Oh, and the price of avocado on toast:( not going back, ever.

The sandwiches were really good, the bread felt very fresh, I really enjoyed my goat cheese sandwich. The atmosphere was great, good music and a very nice seating area inside

Last weekend I visited a cafe located on Station Approach near Kew Gardens, which is about a 10 mins walk from the Underground Station.
The cafe offers outdoor seating with plenty of space and has a lovely, cozy atmosphere. Inside, the decor features warm colors, wooden accents, and charming plants that create a welcoming vibe. The walls are adorned with interesting artwork, adding to the overall charm.
The staff were very friendly and always smiling. I ordered the Tiramisu and Mocha, and the latte art was beautiful! Both the food and coffee were quite nice.
I’ll definitely come back and try other options next time!

Down from Yorkshire we were delighted to find probably the best fish and chips we’ve ever eaten. VERY generous portions of chips ( the large would feed a family of 4) fish and chips wrapped separately so the steam from fish doesn’t make the chips soggy. The chips were perfect - crisp and browned, and somehow not at all greasy. The large cod, cooked with skin on for flavour, coated in a thin, light crisp batter. These men are artists !

One of the best fish and chips spots in London! The haddock with fries was delicious, and the condiments were great quality. I also appreciated that you can sit inside — unlike many fish and chip shops that are takeout only. The staff were friendly, and overall, it’s excellent value for money.

We enjoyed every part of the lunch. Indoor seating suite perfectly after long stroll through Kew gardens. No gravy and alcohol but plenty of other toppings/condiments.

This place is the real deal. I’ve had fish and chips at “top rated” spots and garden bar blows them all out of the water. We pick up from here 3-4 times a month. Great food and always a friendly face from the staff - can’t beat it.

Really good fish and chips. Large portions are really large. Cod is perfectly cooked and mushing peas are delicious.
There are few tables outside to eat, it's really nice when weather is sunny.

Amazing food ,honestly one of the best cannellonis and lasagnas we’ve had. And that’s saying something, as we’ve been to quite a few Pizza Express restaurants around London.
We didn’t have to wait long for a table, and parking wasn’t a problem at all, which was a big plus. Our server, Alex, was great , very attentive and brought everything out quickly without us having to ask. Thank you Alex
Overall, a really enjoyable experience with great food and excellent service. We’ll definitely be back.

It was an unforgettable experience we had while enjoying our daughter's birthday at Pizza Express with "Make your own Pizza style" by the kids themselves, Amir (The Pizza Chef) was the hero where all the kids follow his simplified instructions to make the perfect pizza.
Every chapter of the birthday has been executed perfectally, Many Thanks to Amir.

Right next to Kew Gardens station. (District line. )Yum yum! Reasonably priced for London, but absolutely great tasting. Last-minute dinner after the Halloween event at Kew gardens. By the time it got past 8.30 pm, it quiet down. The kids went home and there were more tables. Fast and great service. Went on a Monday.

We had a wonderful experience, largely thanks to our waiter Alex. He was absolutely amazing and catered to our every need with such care and attention. We could still enjoy a White Christmas or two :) Friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming—he truly made our visit special. We’ll definitely be back!

Alex is fantastic! I was greeted so warmly by everyone downstairs and then Alex upstairs was just great - friendly, really efficient without rushing anyone, knew all about the menu, suggested I download the app and explained the fab rewards (I received free dough balls!). It was incredibly busy and he was calm throughout - every table sparkling clean after guests had gone - it was all under control! Food was fab, piping hot and fresh. Really great! Thank you Alex!

A cosy, large Starbucks with plenty of seating, although it gets very crowded when school lets out. Pleasant and fast service. The only thing I didn't like was the internet speed, which was very slow

We were delighted with the service extended by the staff of this Starbucks. Eugene served us and he was pleasant and friendly, totally reminding us what Starbucks is all about. I needed some hot water and he was kind enough to ask me what size of cup I wanted and even gave a cup cover. The Christmas selections are excellent particularly the Egg Nog latte and Iced Chocolate Mousse Latte. A big thank you to Eugene and the rest of the team for making our short visit delightful.

Nice Starbucks! Stopped by to grab some drinks and snacks. Had the Matcha Frappuccino and Peach Iced Tea. Both were great and the baristas/staff members were friendly and very speedy. One of the few stores that open a bit later in the area but with limited seating especially after 6/6:30 PM. Overall it was great and not too crowded while we were there.

This place was my absolute highlight from my visit to Richmond. The Garlic pasta was to die for and the service was bar none. Amir and Geraldo looked after us so well and it was truly a pleasure speaking to them and eating their wonderful food. I was so hungry that didn't get to take proper pictures of the food. But highly recommend going here. Do try their Garlic pasta and tiramisu. 5*s all the way

This is a special place, a hidden gem. The food is consistently ultra fresh and authentic, the ambiance is comfortable and warming, and the staff is like an Italian hug. We literally ate here 6 nights a week for months. I overheard a gentleman at another table say he flew from Boston to eat here. I can see why. We will miss the warmth of this Italian gem 💎 terribly. Not goodbye 👋 just see you next time

Absolutely amazing!
Dinner at Q-verde was such a delight for a Friday night.
The food was divine and the wine was delicious 🤤
Although it is small, the staff were courteous and attentive while giving guests their privacy at the same time .
Have I talked about the food??
We were a party of 16 and no one complained about anything. Our food came at the right time and at the right temperature; no one’s order got mixed up.
I would certainly recommend!

Great experience! Most of our Food was good, steak tacos was just ok. Out of scotch eggs when we went. Service and atmosphere was fantastic, not too busy on a Thursday afternoon.
Julian Richer - 3 months ago
The perfect pub, especially on a Sunday on a sunny spring day when the magnolias are popping and your nose is a bit cool so you warm up here. Or in winter when the skies are grey but the white lights are twinkling inside. Or sitting outside in summer and laughing a little louder on the third point. Oh kripes, it’s just always good, doesn’t matter when.
Their Sunday roast has puffy Yorkshire pudding, meat that makes this vegetable lover cave and a cabbage so perfectly charred I compare all my home versions to this one.
Don’t ever change, you glorious little snug.

Loved the new look and the new menu they did recently! Such an amazing pub, with a beautiful dining hall, great friendly service every time! Would definitely recommend to stop by for a drink and a bite if you’re visiting Kew!
Tünde Takács - 2 months ago
We went to meet up with some friends who live in the kew area. First time in this gastro pub.
It is literally right next to kew gardens underground station which is good because parking is at a premium. You have some
Pay and display parking outside and next to the station the rest is residents parking. The place is not bad mixing the traditional pub area and the more modern conservatory style dinning area at the back. It also has outside space infront of the pub with heaters.
The menu on the pub side is smaller than the dinning room area. I was told that and not verified.
The food its self was not bad but personally found it a bit expensive for what you got also the drinks were a bit over the top. £9 for a glass of wine especially if weatherspoons are doing the same thing for £4.
Must be the area.
In total, pleasant evening with decent food but make sure you save up for a couple of weeks before yiu go.

A real little hidden gem. The cafe is small, cute and cosy, right opposite the station. They offer Japanese meals, teas and cakes / baking. There is a lunch special menu that changes. For me my favourite is the udon with prawn tempura which I really recommend.

Such a cute café! The ladies working there were so kind and welcoming. They had a lovely outside area in the sun. I had the iced matcha latte, which was perfectly balanced between bitterness and sweetness 💚

Love this cafe. Just a shame I live far away. I was visiting the National Archives and researched beforehand what was nearby, and thought this looked good. And I was not wrong.
Small selection of Japanese food. All good.
We had tea and it was particularly good. Nice & strong, and they offered a free refill (which we took up).
We sat outside in the gorgeous afternoon sun. The cafe is located in quiet small square/courtyard, so is a lovely place to chill out.
Their opening hours are quite unusual, so you best check beforehand.
FANTASTIC, polite service.
