5 Star Rating Royal Lancaster London is easily one of the best hotels in London. The location is outstanding, right next to Hyde Park and very close to public transport, which makes getting around the city extremely convenient. The rooms are very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Housekeeping does a great job, and the overall hygiene standards are excellent. The staff are professional, polite, and genuinely helpful. From check-in to check-out, the service was smooth and respectful. A big plus is that the hotel provides a bidet spray (shattaf), which is rare in London and very appreciated. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a prime location in London.

5 Star Rating I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was excellent. Although the room was not very spacious, it was comfortable and well designed, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The highlight for me was the beautiful view from the window, which made the room feel cozy and relaxing. The location is unbeatable. It’s just a short walk to Hyde Park, and both Lancaster Station and the nearby bus stops are within minutes, making it easy to get around London. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, and easy access to the city.

5 Star Rating Had a great stay here. The rooms were clean, shower was incredibly nice. But where the hotel really shines is the breakfast. It's been months since my stay and im having dreams about their breakfast buffet. The food is premium quality and the selection is vast but not overwhelming. Whoever they've got in the kitchen can cook. 10/10 would stay again.

5 Star Rating Fantastic from beginning to end. A lovely 5-star hotel with spacious rooms and amenities. I only had one poor experience with one of the front desk employees, who was dismissive and did not address an issue regarding the room setup (I was later informed that he was new after receiving an apology from another staff member). Otherwise, everyone I came in contact with was superb, including Teyana, who was kind and patient in getting me checked in early. The hotel is also located right across from Hyde Park, which was lovely to walk through. Easily metro accessible and nestled in the charming neighborhood of Baywater/Lancaster. Again, the rooms were excellent: spacious, clean, with large windows overlooking Hyde Park. Although it's further from common major attractions (Big Ben, London Eye, theatres, etc.), I prefer this location as it is situated in a quieter, cleaner part of town and is easily accessible to major attractions via the underground tube. Definitely worth the stay!

5 Star Rating We had a good experience. The service is excellent, and the staff are very helpful and professional. The location is amazing — close to Hyde Park and easy to reach everywhere in London. However, the room size is very small. Our two people room felt quite tight. With three bags we barely had space to move around or use the Dinner table comfortably. Also, there was only one small closet, which was really not enough for two people staying several days. I just noticed that our room didn’t come with a coffee machine, which was surprising for a hotel at this level. On the positive side, we appreciated the thoughtful amenities, especially that they offer a handheld bidet (رشاش موية) in the bathroom, which is very convenient for us. A special thank you to Miss Rochelle for her warm hospitality throughout our stay. In general, the hotel has great service and location, but the room size can be a challenge if you have luggage.

5 Star Rating We had such a lovely stay at Roseate House London! My husband and I booked last minute during a layover on our way to Spain, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from Paddington Station — we took the Heathrow Express and it was so convenient. The staff were incredibly kind and took such wonderful care of us. Our room was charming, comfortable, and full of character. The neighborhood is beautiful — just steps from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, perfect for an afternoon walk. Our stay was short, but we left wishing we had more time. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in London!

3 Star Rating Clearly strive to provide all bells and whistles, but fall short with the basics. Had struggles with room temperature, and a lack of hot water, meaning baths and showers were far from pleasant! Otherwise the room was very good, and hotel a short walk from Paddington station and Hyde Park. On my last morning, I sat for over 15 minutes before anyone came to see if they could take my breakfast order - that was only because another guest piped up! 20 minutes later it arrived, with cold poached eggs - not nice at all. Most front desk staff were excellent though sometimes verging on overbearing. Young lady at checkout very little interest in issues and/or the quality of stay. Would not return I'm afraid.

5 Star Rating I’ve stayed at Roseate twice before (in May and August 2025), and each time has been wonderful, but their kindness during my recent quick stop in London truly went above and beyond! I was in transit with only 1.5 hours between flights and reached out to ask if I might store my carry-on while I went for a run in Hyde Park. Even though it was an unusual request, the team graciously said yes and welcomed me with such warmth and professionalism. Their generosity and thoughtfulness made my short visit so much smoother and reminded me why I’ve loved staying here in the past. It’s rare to find a hotel that genuinely cares about its guests. I highly recommend!

5 Star Rating We had a wonderful stay at the Roseate over my 30th birthday at the end of July! From start to finish the front desk service was incredibly helpful, welcoming and hospitable. They continuously went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and even delivered a special birthday treat to the room which was most appreciated. The facilities were lovely, comfy bed and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. We will be recommending to all our friends and family!

5 Star Rating We had a small event on Sunday (14 December) with the girls, and we had such a great time. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the delicious food we ate everything, nothing was left on the plates! The Christmas decorations were amazing and created the perfect festive vibe. Basir, the manager, was absolutely fantastic. He helped us so much throughout our brunch and made us feel welcome from the very beginning until the end. And Victoria was lovely, very friendly, and assisted us with our orders. I highly recommend this place if you want to feel truly welcomed, enjoy great food, and appreciate beautiful design. We will definitely be back!

5 Star Rating This Ask Italian was top notch Having been to an Ask Italian and not getting the service we expected, my wife complained and we were offered a complementary main meal and a drink at any branch. We opted for the Ask Italian in Spring Street, off Sussex Gardens in Lancaster Gate. There we were met by Fuad, who gave us a choice of tables and reassured us that no money would exchange hands. Wow! This Ask Italian was a breath of fresh air. And when we settled down we were provided with a non-alcoholic version of a Limoncello. Salute per Tutti! We opted for Calzone pizzas. Both of them were wrapped but Fuad gave us the option of having it unwrapped, which we took. The tasty Calzone Carne Piccante contained pepperoni, ham, beef and red wine ragu, fresh chillies, mushrooms, tomato sauce, and mozzarella. It had a nice crispy base with a hint of char from the oven with fresh toppings which were washed down with a non-alcoholic Peroni. My wife went for a Calzone Mushroom and Truffle with Chicken. The flavours really shone through giving it a wonderful taste. The main meal was plenty but there was enough room to share one dessert, and it had to be a White Chocolate Pistachio Tart. It was so delicious that it was heartbreaking to share. If you are into Mocktails, try the cherry one. It has such a strong taste that it feels like it’s alcoholic. A mint tea with leaves was equally refreshing. The food, the ambience and the staff, Fuad and Besem, were super friendly and professional in their approach. Although our first experience in another branch of Ask Italian had not been good, these guys were able to restore the reputation of the brand a hundred times over. If you are contemplating on going to Ask Italian, go to this one and you won’t be disappointed. It’s big but also cosy, just off the main Bayswater Road, so feels exclusive. Everything about this branch is top notch, including the clean toilets. I will definitely be coming back. It’s five star service from start to finish.

I ordered the Margherita pizza, and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Also ordered a dessert called “The Lemon”, which was out of this world. 5 Star Rating My husband took me to this restaurant during my birthday visit to London. We had fabulous food and excellent service. Lovely atmosphere in this family run restaurant. I would imagine it gets very busy in the summer as they have nice tables outside as well as the main restaurant. We ate Rigatoni alla Gorgonzola – £15 The famous blue cheese with cream Tortelloni Neri al Granchio – £16.50 Cornish crab filled black pasta in a lemon butter sauce Both very reasonably priced in our opinion. Would definately recommend this restaurant.

4 Star Rating We had a lovely dinner here - a charming, vintage Italian setting. - The atmosphere feels authentic and cosy. 💁🏻‍♂️ Service was excellent — the waiters were polite, changed dishes between courses (which we really appreciated), and made great recommendations. We ordered four dishes to share between two person: 🔹Apetitiser: “Parma ham & melon” from the day’s special menu 🔹1st main: “Gnocchi con Nduja e Salsiccia” (Italian sausage, nduja, carrots, onion, basil) 🔹2nd main: “Tortelloni Neri al Granchio” (black pasta filled with crab & prawns in a lemon butter sauce) 🔹Dessert: “Tiramisu” Portions were generous, flavours were well-balanced, and presentation was inviting. Overall, a solid 7.5/10 a place worth visiting for both the food and the experience.

3 Star Rating We had a meal for two early evening Thursday so it was quiet. Couldn’t give more than three for the food. Pizza was ‘lozenge’ shaped (been to Italy countless times and they are always round). Base wasn’t cooked 100%. Wasn’t a ‘Quattro Stagioni’ as I know it. Wife had a fairly bland vitello with mushroom sauce. £4 extra for each vegetable. Fries looked like from a packet. People were nice-ish but I think it’s trading off its heritage and reputation.

5 Star Rating Booked through First Table and enjoyed a fantastic 50% off the bill. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted authentic, with prompt service and minimal wait times. Most of the staff were very friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The only downside was one waitress who gave incorrect information about a menu item and rushed our order, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. 5 Star Rating This restaurant is up there in my top 3 restaurants of all time. An absolute game changer! I was treated to an early birthday dinner by a friend and I chose here as they were rated very highly on tripadvisor. Had a little Google before hand on what to order and their website mentioned that chef’s favourite and known for dish was the Tom Kha soup and Prawn Pad Thai I’d never had Tom Kha before but it’s probably one my favourite dishes of all time now - and actually I’ve had it elsewhere since and it didn’t compare! Had the prawn pad Thai too which was just delicious My friend had the dumplings which I had a cheeky sample of too which were tasty. Staff were friendly and attentive - probably the best service I’ve ever received. Defo my new favourite spot! It’s located in the Royal Lancaster hotel and is a little spenny but worth it!

5 Star Rating The restaurant is tucked away on the first floor of the Royal Lancaster London Hotel. You enter through the elegant marble foyer, head up the stairs, and turn right. It sets the tone beautifully. We were greeted warmly by the manager and shown to a window table overlooking Hyde Park. Our 18:30 reservation meant the restaurant was still quiet, with only one other table occupied, a perfect start. The menu is broad but not overwhelming. I chose the chicken and coconut soup, chicken stir-fry, and mango sorbet for dessert. Every dish was exceptional, the best Thai food I’ve had anywhere. Service was attentive without being intrusive. The team clearly know what they’re doing and let the food speak for itself. The whole experience reflects the setting, refined, calm, and just the right side of luxurious. Excellent food, excellent staff. I’ll definitely be back, and would highly recommend you book a table too.

4 Star Rating I recently had the pleasure of dining at Flavours of India Paddington, and it was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. If you are looking for authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine in London, this is the spot. The food was absolutely superb. The dishes tasted genuinely authentic, not overly Anglicized, which is a rare treat. Each item we ordered was rich in flavor and expertly spiced. A major highlight was their willingness to customize dishes to our exact preference – whether you prefer things mild or extra spicy, they deliver exactly what you ask for. The quality of the food was matched by the excellent service. The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Service was prompt and efficient, making the entire dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, Flavours of India offers fantastic food paired with warm hospitality. I highly recommend visiting for an authentic and satisfying meal.

3 Star Rating Very disappointed with the afternoon tea for what a 5 start hotel quality should be. Negative points: 1. Tea without any leaves or tea bag inside the pot. Basically tasteless hot water with a bit of colour (Earl Gray). 2. ONLY one personal pot of tea more less same size as the cup (see pic). I’ve been in several afternoon teas and all have offered bottomless tea. 3. Service inconsistent. First waiter brought the tray with sandwiches and didn’t explain anything. Second one better as he explained what the deserts were. 4. No good value for money. Two basic afternoon tea with service £96. Positive points: 1. Decor and ambience are very nice. 2. The sandwiches/deserts and the presentation are nice. Overall not a place I’ll come again.

The food was delicious, tea was stunning, space was gorgeous and they definitely let us stay beyond our booking. We had such a lovely time and more importantly, the bride to be loved it! Would definitely recommend and will absolutely be returning!

5 Star Rating My first time at this restaurant and it was an excellent experience. The ambience was so comfortable yet pleasantly stimulating. The afternoon tea was nice and a straightforward procedure. The choices of tea were vast and different - the Oolong Milk Tea was my favourite, the green tea wasn't remarkable but it was standard. I think the fillings of the sandwiches were quite unique however, the bread was slightly oxidised and borderline stale. I would most definitely returning multiple times as the price per person is excellent for the standard of service. Excellent!

3 Star Rating Went here solo for the vegan afternoon tea & it was ~40£ with the standard tea options. It would have been more expensive for a specialty tea, Prosecco, or kombucha options (see menu photo). The ambience was great but felt like the service was awkward - perhaps it was because I was dining alone? They kept creeping towards me and not making eye contact when we spoke. I also had to flag them down on a couple occasions because they never came to check on me. All that being said, I appreciate the vegan options! Not the freshest spread, and the desserts were not good - kind of stale/chalky - but the tea and scones were good. I probably wouldn’t go back to this place based on the experience I had, but it was an okay option fairly last minute and as a solo diner (other afternoon teas required two or more guests).
