Absolutely loved the Royal Lancaster. Being that we were a Viking pre-cruise stay, they had a room ready for us when we arrived early morning. This made our day! Lovely rooms and the view of London from our 16th floor room was spectacular! They are also adjacent to Hyde Park which would have been great, but it started pouring rain mid-walk and we had to retreat to The Swan pub. The included buffet breakfast each morning was delicious. Thank you Royal Lancaster for a wonderful stay while we were in London!

We stayed here almost 2 years ago & still talk about this lovely hotel. My husband & I were traveling with friends & my sister. It was our first trip to London for my husband and I. Everything was perfect & the staff superior! We loved our room & what a phenomenal view we had! Last but not least...the breakfast was great...one of our favorites and the location of the hotel was perfect! We hope to visit again soon! Thanks for making our stay memorable! ❤️

Wonderful stay, amongst the best hotels in London in terms of luxury, service and quality.
The manager made it their job to make the stay for my wife and I as accommodating as possible with an upgrade to their suite when we visited back in Feb after we got married.
All staff did their best to make our stay special and we'll definitely be back next time we're in the city. Breakfast is also fantastic here!

The Royal Lancaster London went beyond expectations. Even with an early arrival, they accommodated me. The room was modern, spotless, with heated bathroom floors and great views. The neighborhood was quiet and local, not touristy. Staff were warm and attentive, cleaning was impeccable! The only small downside was the TV’s limited channel selection. Still, it was a fantastic stay, and I would absolutely return! The hotel is just minutes from tube stations, like the Elizabeth Line from the airport and other lines only a short walk away making it incredibly easy to get around London.

My stay at the Royal Lancaster London was truly wonderful. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome with their genuine friendliness and professionalism. Every interaction was warm, attentive, and effortless, which really made a difference throughout my stay.
The hotel itself is beautiful, and my room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. You can tell there’s a strong attention to detail in everything they do.
What stood out most was the consistency of the service, every member of the team was helpful, kind, and always ready to assist with a smile. It created such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
I had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel feels genuinely luxurious and elegant, with beautiful interiors, lots of art throughout the property, spacious rooms, and large, comfortable bathtubs. We also loved that every room includes a yoga mat, which made it easy to do a morning workout before heading out. WiFi was very fast and we never had any issues with it.
The location is excellent, right next to Hyde Park, so we enjoyed walking there almost every morning. Breakfast was very good, with generous à la carte portions.
We had an issue with our first room, but the team moved us immediately to a complimentary upgraded room and handled everything professionally. Throughout our stay, the staff were attentive, warm and consistently helpful. Their hospitality made a real difference.
A wonderful luxury hotel in a fantastic location, big thanks to the team!

We are visiting London and wanted to experience the English afternoon Tea. I booked The Hyde restaurant at Roseate House for a traditional afternoon tea. Although it's quite a simple menu with scones , sandwiches desserts and tea/ coffee, the quality is good. Even the tableware used were so classy. We did not finish the food but we were okay with it as we really just wanted the experience. The waiter Binod was concerned and asked if the food was to our liking as he noticed we did not finish it. I assured him and he gave us an extra pot of tea just to make it up. He was very observant and i wanted to commend on his exceptional service. Overall, a really nice experience at the Hyde restaurant.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Roseate House London. The location was perfect — centrally located, just a short 4–5 minute walk to nearby stations, and very close to Hyde Park.
What truly made our stay memorable was the exceptional hospitality. The staff were fantastic throughout our visit. A very special thanks to the General Manager, Parvez Unmar, who kindly upgraded us to the suite with balcony — the best room in the hotel! It made our trip incredibly special.
The front office team - special mention to Budhika and Bishnu - went above and beyond and even allowed us a late check-out, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was delicious every morning.
The thoughtful personal touches meant so much to us as a family — the staff left a Paddington Bear for our baby, and she absolutely loved it. We were also welcomed with a handwritten card, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and macarons, which made us feel genuinely valued and cared for.
One of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in London. Highly recommended!

I stayed at this hotel for a quick weekend getaway and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent. Near Paddington Station which makes it incredibly convenient, yet the area is very safe and chic. It’s also perfectly positioned to explore the city, right in the middle of everything. taxi, walking and public transportation.
The staff were amazing: extremely welcoming, attentive, and genuinely warm throughout the stay.
My room was incredible (suite) beautifully designed, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details. The toiletries were fantastic as well (Penhaligon's); you truly don’t need to bring anything because everything is provided and of great quality.
What I loved most is the atmosphere of the hotel. It feels very authentic and stylish, with much more character and charm than many large luxury chains. It’s a place with real personality.
I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it for a stay in London.

As an Italian, I can only say that, for an Italian restaurant abroad and apparently not run by Italians, it's not bad at all:
The pasta was al dente, the sauce was good, and the pizza was also good.
We appreciated the welcome and friendliness of the staff, in our case Mr. Josh. The welcome lemonade was also appreciated.
The atmosphere was pleasant and clean; the price was also fair.
We'll be back to try other dishes on the menu - RECOMMENDED -
I apologize for the photo of the pasta as it was taken only after having stirred it with a fork
PS: I won't say anything about the coffee as it can't be blamed, but you know, with rare exceptions, only an Italian knows what it means to suffer for any coffee drunk abroad 🤪 😂😂😂

We had a small event on Sunday (14 December) with the girls, and we had such a great time. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the delicious food we ate everything, nothing was left on the plates! The Christmas decorations were amazing and created the perfect festive vibe.
Basir, the manager, was absolutely fantastic. He helped us so much throughout our brunch and made us feel welcome from the very beginning until the end. And Victoria was lovely, very friendly, and assisted us with our orders.
I highly recommend this place if you want to feel truly welcomed, enjoy great food, and appreciate beautiful design. We will definitely be back!

Surpsingly good, honestly. The food was genuinely tasty, especially in comparison to other italian restaurants in the area. The staff were very kind and the kid's menu was well thought out, with the pizza being fully customizable and of appropriate size. The atmosphere was also very nice, open and airy. Overall, a really nice place. Would come again!

The sun was shining at ASK Italian on a rainy day in London
I can’t stop coming to this place so I have to get my laptop out and give this restaurant a five star review.
The restaurant I am talking about is Ask Italian, off Spring Road, a stone’s throw away from Lancaster Gate Underground Station in west London.
This time round I had brought a couple of Japanese friends for lunch and they were just as excited as me to try their pizza.
But before our mains, we decided to share our starter with a selection of a little bit of everything.
Mushrooms and King Prawn Al Forno, Chicken Lecca-Lecca, Bruschetta Crostini, and Mozzarella and Garlic Dough bites were just some of the tasty delights.
Our Japanese friends Mamoru and Kanako decided to share a Margherita pizza, my wife had a Pollo Coppa e Funghi, torn roast chicken, air-dried coppa ham and mixed mushrooms on a tomato and mozzarella base, finished with oregano.
My pizza was the usual no-nonsense Calzone Carne Piccante, a non-folded pizza filled with pepperoni, ham, beef and red wine ragu, fresh chillies, sautéed mushrooms - the list goes on, yum.
Cutting down on calories, our desserts came in small portions - mine a tiramisu - with a cappuccino. Usually I go for bigger option, but this was more than satisfying, and our guests followed suit.
Fuad was the perfect host on the day and catered for all our needs. Will I be coming back again? You bet I will.

30 years ago, I had Pesto here for the first time. Finally back in London and had to make this a stop. I remembered the wagon wheel in the window and had to use google street view to find the name again. Met up with friends and had a fantastic meal together. Highly recommend.
Flavors were delicious, pasta perfectly cooked, sauces were well seasoned. Highly recommend. So glad that it has lasted and remains a solid experience.

100% recommend. I went with my boyfriend and we had the most delicous meal. The staff was really lovely. For starters sardines and melon+ham - house red and house white wines. I had the special of the day pasta cream peas onion bacon. Everything was Delicious!!!!!

It was ok.
But the sautee potatoes some where cold and still raw in the middle
And, being an italian restaurant I found it weird to have a Chianti served in a short-steemed glass that (as far as I know, I might be wrong) is for tasting or dessert wines...
Also... if you have 3 single tables in a raw and going to use them individually.. separate them
The veil and the apple flan were good.
And very nixe customer service anyway.

Lovely place to eat - we managed to slip in on quiet Thursday afternoon. Had the restaurant to ourselves. We had the Brouchetta and Rigatoni Special. It was prompt, friendly and most importantly tasted amazing with a healthy portion of cheese for the cheese lovers. Definitely a little hidden gem - would come again.

Had a fantastic meal here. Every mouthful was delicious! The service was amazing. Would give 10 stars if I could. My partner and I enjoyed every minute. If I lived in London we would be here regularly. Highly recommended. My chicken dish was sensational and my partners pasta and tiramisu was off the charts. Yummy garlic bread and a zucchini side dish. Yummo!

A lovely high-end restaurant located within the Royal Lancaster Hotel, offering an elegant setting and beautiful views. The restaurant itself is stylish and welcoming, making it a wonderful place for a relaxed yet refined dining experience. The service was impeccable—attentive, professional, and warm throughout our visit.
We ordered a variety of dishes, all of which were flavourful and beautifully presented. To start, we had the fish cakes, soft shell crab, and a refreshing papaya salad. Each dish was well balanced and full of flavour.
The beef steak was cooked perfectly and paired with a delicious sauce. The pork spare ribs were meaty and tender with a slight crisp on the edges, adding a great texture. The fish stir fry dish must have had about 8-10 herbs. Loved the sauce it was in. We also ordered the crab curry served with rice vermicelli, and the two complemented each other wonderfully.
Every dish was vibrant, colourful, and thoughtfully prepared, including the cocktails. We especially loved the desserts, which were creative, innovative, and a perfect way to finish the meal.
Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and definitely a restaurant we would happily visit again.

Booked through First Table and enjoyed a fantastic 50% off the bill. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted authentic, with prompt service and minimal wait times. Most of the staff were very friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The only downside was one waitress who gave incorrect information about a menu item and rushed our order, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The restaurant is small and cozy, located within a lovely hotel, making it a great spot for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.

This has become one of my favourite Malaysian restaurants in London. We ordered grilled seabass, oxtail soup, keropok lekor, and mee kari. Portions are generous. The star is the mee kari, and it has always been my favourite here. It was so good I finished the whole bowl, even though the portion can easily be shared between two people.
The only downside was the waiting time. We ordered first, but the table next to us, who ordered after us and also had mee kari, received their food first. Ours arrived about 10 minutes after theirs, despite the restaurant not being busy. Credit to the staff, the waiters were attentive, helpful, and apologised, explaining that grilled seabass usually takes longer to prepare. Putting the wait aside, the food more than makes up for it.
Overall, Id easily give the food 9/10, except the mee kari, which is an 11/10 and an absolute must-try.

This was my second visit here after 10 years. My first visit was during a business trip, and now, on my third visit to London, coming back to Tukdin felt like reconnecting with an old favourite.
We ordered the mee goreng seafood, mee goreng mamak, and daging dendeng berlada. The mee goreng mamak and sambal dendeng were especially delicious and full of flavour and honestly brought back memories of home. I didn’t expect the mee goreng mamak to be that good.
The teh tarik tasted just like I remembered a real taste of home away from home. Simple, comforting, and familiar.
If you’re in London and missing Malaysian food, this is one place that truly delivers both flavour and nostalgia.

It was my first time having Malaysian food. It was absolutely amazing, the flavours were really powerful and I especially loved the salted egg chicken. The service was really good: friendly and knowledgeable staff, I also loved the milo iced drink and condensed milk iced tea. Would definitely go again and try other options on the menu.

One of the best foods, service, and environment to eat here. Will come again! The portion is huge and enough for normal people. Maintain and improvise the quality insyaAllah

Really great neighborhood restaurant if you’re craving authentic Malaysian food. All the dishes we ordered were solid and we can’t wait to come back to try more dishes. Really liked the noodle dish as well as the peanut sauce with vegetables and fried tofu. Only thing that could’ve been better would be the roti canai and was a bit on the pricier side (came out to £82 for the two of us) but otherwise a great dining experience!

We had an amazing experience at Noorjahan II! They were actually closed when we arrived, but after calling they kindly opened just for us – something we really appreciated. The service was outstanding from start to finish, especially from Abdul, the chef, and the entire team who were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Overall good experience, I am not sure why people are complaining about staff, we haven’t faced any challenge, in fact found staff very courteous and supportive. Food quality was good, enjoyed the lamb kebabs and spinach. Also butter chicken was refreshing and tasteful. Cost wise it was ok, because of its location to Paddington station.

Thank you for a fantastic dinner. They saw us struggling with the decision and promised us that it won't be too spicy (one child) and it turned out perfect.
The Peshawari Naan was sweet and soft, so was the butter naan. The chef's special lamb was amazing (must try) and the meat was so soft. The Rogan Josh lamb was so flavorful and mild. They remix the spice for the Chicken Tikka!!
Amazing meal. We ate alot of Indian Cuisine in Toronto and in Asia, my hats off to the chef for blending the spices that each dish has its own unique flavor.
Greeter, waiter, servers - all excellent service.
Great meal for our 1st day in London. Thank God Hyde Park is few mins away... we need to walk off the calories.

We visited Flavours of India in Paddington and overall had a good experience. The taste of the food was really good, and the flavours were enjoyable and authentic.
The only thing I felt could have been better was the quantity. For example, the samosa we ordered was quite small, especially compared to what we expected. The pricing also felt a little on the higher side, although London in general is quite expensive.
The restaurant was quite crowded when we visited, so I would recommend making a reservation before going, especially during busy hours.
Overall, the food tasted very good, and it is a nice place to visit if you are looking for Indian food in Paddington.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Flavours of India Paddington, and it was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. If you are looking for authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine in London, this is the spot.
The food was absolutely superb. The dishes tasted genuinely authentic, not overly Anglicized, which is a rare treat. Each item we ordered was rich in flavor and expertly spiced. A major highlight was their willingness to customize dishes to our exact preference – whether you prefer things mild or extra spicy, they deliver exactly what you ask for.
The quality of the food was matched by the excellent service. The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Service was prompt and efficient, making the entire dining experience smooth and enjoyable.
Overall, Flavours of India offers fantastic food paired with warm hospitality. I highly recommend visiting for an authentic and satisfying meal.

Visited with a reservation.
Just a five‑minute walk from Paddington and surrounded by greenery, the place feels calm and has a lovely atmosphere.
You can enjoy a traditional afternoon tea here, and every scone, sandwich and mini cake was fantastic — especially the matcha scone, which was amazing. The lemon cream was also a perfect match for the scones.
I would love to come again.

Not a great experience. The waitress was nice, however, service was very slow. The food quality was very poor. Almost like they went to a corner store and grabbed sandwiches from there. Maybe worse. There was hair in the butter as well. I expect much higher quality when paying this much. The male employees were extremely rude and judgmental, making the experience quite uncomfortable. They kept standing and starring for a while at us even though we were quiet and well behaved. Even after we left, they followed us outside and stared at us. Honestly, for this price point, there are much better places to go where you will enjoy yourself much more.
