Great hotel, located right across the road from Hyde Park. Easy walking distance to two different tube stations so easy to fly around london. Rooms were quiet and well appointed, the bed was so cozy it was hard to leave. Great views over the park and the London skyline. Service was excellent. Seamless check-in and our room happened to be ready early which was great after a day of travel. Breakfast was a standout with an amazing selection of English and Continental options from the buffet. We also had a dinner at the amazing Thai restaurant on site which had some great fusion options to try. Would highly recommend this property and would be keen to stay again when i come back to London.

Top notch service. The breakfast is the best inclusive meal I’ve ever had at a hotel; truly impressive. Perfect location with access to all points of interest. Looking forward to our second stay after a trip west to the Cotswolds and Cornwall.
Update: our return we were given a free upgrade to a park room and discounted upgrade on a larger room on the 10th floor. Incredible service and food.

I had a truly delightful stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was pleasant, varied, and delicious, the location was excellent, and the staff were kind and friendly—especially in the breakfast area.
In particular, I would like to thank dear Paris at the hotel reception, who assisted us with great kindness, patience, and care. Staff members like her are truly a blessing for any hotel. Thank you, Paris, thank you to the breakfast team, and thank you to the dear Royal Lancaster Hotel 💝

The hotel was excellent, and especially Ms. Paris at the reception was very professional, polite, and kind. She assisted us warmly and had our room ready as soon as we arrived. In my opinion, every hotel should have such a staff member. The breakfast was very good; although it was not extremely extensive, it was practical and enjoyable.

It been a few years since I’ve stayed at the Royal Lancaster, and I was welcomed back like an old friend.
The location is superb, right next to Hyde Park, making it ideal for both exploring the city and enjoying peaceful walks.
The breakfast buffet is outstanding, with a wide selection of international options that cater to every taste including dim sum, amazing veggie options and perfectly cooked traditional breakfast options including the most incredible Cumberland sausage.
My room was spotless, comfortable and equipped with everything I needed. The attention to detail in cleanliness and amenities really stood out.
What truly makes the Royal Lancaster exceptional, however, is the staff. From start to finish they were warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Reception, in particular, made both check in and check out an absolute pleasure. Their service set the tone for a brilliant stay.
I would highly recommend the Royal Lancaster to anyone visiting London.

We had a wonderful stay at the Roseate over my 30th birthday at the end of July! From start to finish the front desk service was incredibly helpful, welcoming and hospitable. They continuously went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and even delivered a special birthday treat to the room which was most appreciated. The facilities were lovely, comfy bed and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. We will be recommending to all our friends and family!

I booked three nights at the Roseate House about 5 months before a trip in late July 2025. I used Priceline for the low price guaranteed promise. The total booking was over $2100 or more than $700 a night. I had been warned by others that London was expensive so it did not concern me although I was shocked at the price. Reviews claimed it to be a highly rated hotel with great views of a tree lines street in a quality Hyde Park area. Our visit initially was off to rough start when the $700 a night view turned out to be looking down on the cluttered roof tops of row houses and their garages. The room was small with a bed and small table and bath. Our room was immediately next to another room door which slammed shut with each use, disrupting our sleep numerous times. In addition, there were random noises of an unknown source that sounded like an engine or machine starting. Being jet lagged, these sleep interruptions were very draining. The hallway to our room was choked off with a large storage unit that barely allowed me to pass with luggage. The window shade had significant staining and damage and looked like it was in a Motel 6. The dining room is small and breakfast required reservations, so a casual morning was not an option. I talked to the manager about my request for a partial refund and he promised to talk with the ownership and reply in a few days. That was a lie. It has been week sand no final response is or will be forthcoming. I would strongly recommend anyone find another accommodation in London. Check the Royal Lancaster a few blocks away.

We are currently spending six nights at the Roseate House London and truly do not want to leave. The hotel is a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city—elegant, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The bedding and rooms are top notch, but what made our stay exceptional was the staff.
A heartfelt thank you to Irisha, Piyush, Jon, and Kshitiz—each of whom went out of their way to make our stay feel special. Their attention to detail, warmth, and thoughtful touches did not go unnoticed. Whether it was a warm greeting at the front desk, help with directions, or simply remembering our preferences, they made us feel not just welcome, but truly cared for.
And it wasn’t just them. The entire team—from housekeeping to the restaurant staff—was outstanding. I wish I knew all their names to thank each one personally.
If you’re looking for a hotel that feels like a calm, elegant home away from home—with impeccable service and a quiet atmosphere—you’ll be glad you chose Roseate House.
We can’t wait to return…and we still have one more night.

This Ask Italian was top notch
Having been to an Ask Italian and not getting the service we expected, my wife complained and we were offered a complementary main meal and a drink at any branch.
We opted for the Ask Italian in Spring Street, off Sussex Gardens in Lancaster Gate. There we were met by Fuad, who gave us a choice of tables and reassured us that no money would exchange hands.
Wow! This Ask Italian was a breath of fresh air. And when we settled down we were provided with a non-alcoholic version of a Limoncello. Salute per Tutti!
We opted for Calzone pizzas. Both of them were wrapped but Fuad gave us the option of having it unwrapped, which we took.
The tasty Calzone Carne Piccante contained pepperoni, ham, beef and red wine ragu, fresh chillies, mushrooms, tomato sauce, and mozzarella.
It had a nice crispy base with a hint of char from the oven with fresh toppings which were washed down with a non-alcoholic Peroni.
My wife went for a Calzone Mushroom and Truffle with Chicken. The flavours really shone through giving it a wonderful taste.
The main meal was plenty but there was enough room to share one dessert, and it had to be a White Chocolate Pistachio Tart. It was so delicious that it was heartbreaking to share.
If you are into Mocktails, try the cherry one. It has such a strong taste that it feels like it’s alcoholic. A mint tea with leaves was equally refreshing.
The food, the ambience and the staff, Fuad and Besem, were super friendly and professional in their approach.
Although our first experience in another branch of Ask Italian had not been good, these guys were able to restore the reputation of the brand a hundred times over.
If you are contemplating on going to Ask Italian, go to this one and you won’t be disappointed. It’s big but also cosy, just off the main Bayswater Road, so feels exclusive.
Everything about this branch is top notch, including the clean toilets. I will definitely be coming back. It’s five star service from start to finish.

Everything about this experience was phenomenal. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and the food was spectacular. I ordered the Margherita pizza, and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Also ordered a dessert called “The Lemon”, which was out of this world. I mean the presentation alone looks like its from a Michelin star restaurant, but the taste was even better. Will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in London. All around an amazing place to eat.

We had a great unplanned dinner here. Our server Klaudia was absolutely lovely. This particular branch of Ask has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are very attentive and professional. The food was really delicious. I do generally find the food to be very consistent at Ask. We had a Tastecard which made our meal very affordable.

Here is a great place for Italian food, that may not break your wallet if you earn in pounds. If you earn in rupees, it will. But the food is truly memorable. Whether its the pasta, pizza, pork or beef, or the desert, the taste lingers on the palate. The restaurant looks unpretentious from the outside but it huge inside. You may think the menu is limited but there is a lot on offer. The place appeared short-staffed so be prepared for a wait before your order comes, and a brusque waiter. Do pair Italian food with Italian beer There are good options for vegetarians as well.

We came from Kensington Park and randomly picked a restaurant for lunch. This Italian restaurant was a pleasant surprise! All three main courses were excellent, especially the king prawns, which were very crispy. We'll definitely come back next time.

We had a lovely dinner here
- a charming, vintage Italian setting.
- The atmosphere feels authentic and cosy.
💁🏻♂️ Service was excellent — the waiters were polite, changed dishes between courses (which we really appreciated), and made great recommendations.
We ordered four dishes to share between two person:
🔹Apetitiser: “Parma ham & melon” from the day’s special menu
🔹1st main: “Gnocchi con Nduja e Salsiccia” (Italian sausage, nduja, carrots, onion, basil)
🔹2nd main: “Tortelloni Neri al Granchio” (black pasta filled with crab & prawns in a lemon butter sauce)
🔹Dessert: “Tiramisu”
Portions were generous, flavours were well-balanced, and presentation was inviting.
Overall, a solid 7.5/10
a place worth visiting for both the food and the experience.

A wonderful hidden Italian restaurant, established over 50 years ago away from the main drag of Paddington/Praed St. Staff wonderful, food delicious and atmosphere lovely. Give it a go, you won't regret it. The tiramisu gets a special mention, homemade and delicious 😋

We have been staying at Lancaster Gate and chose this restaurant as it was small and independently run and very close to Lancaster Gate.
We had antipasto misto excellent, the mains were all very good and reasonably priced
The service was polite and prompt.
Just one of us had a desert of ice cream pistachio, again very good.
The restaurant was busy and had a nice lively atmosphere without being too noisy
Very happy to recommend this Italian restaurant, and we will look forward to eating there again next time we are in London

Booked through First Table and enjoyed a fantastic 50% off the bill. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted authentic, with prompt service and minimal wait times. Most of the staff were very friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The only downside was one waitress who gave incorrect information about a menu item and rushed our order, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The restaurant is small and cozy, located within a lovely hotel, making it a great spot for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.

The restaurant is tucked away on the first floor of the Royal Lancaster London Hotel. You enter through the elegant marble foyer, head up the stairs, and turn right. It sets the tone beautifully.
We were greeted warmly by the manager and shown to a window table overlooking Hyde Park. Our 18:30 reservation meant the restaurant was still quiet, with only one other table occupied, a perfect start.
The menu is broad but not overwhelming. I chose the chicken and coconut soup, chicken stir-fry, and mango sorbet for dessert. Every dish was exceptional, the best Thai food I’ve had anywhere.
Service was attentive without being intrusive. The team clearly know what they’re doing and let the food speak for itself.
The whole experience reflects the setting, refined, calm, and just the right side of luxurious.
Excellent food, excellent staff. I’ll definitely be back, and would highly recommend you book a table too.

This restaurant is up there in my top 3 restaurants of all time. An absolute game changer!
I was treated to an early birthday dinner by a friend and I chose here as they were rated very highly on tripadvisor.
Had a little Google before hand on what to order and their website mentioned that chef’s favourite and known for dish was the Tom Kha soup and Prawn Pad Thai
I’d never had Tom Kha before but it’s probably one my favourite dishes of all time now - and actually I’ve had it elsewhere since and it didn’t compare! Had the prawn pad Thai too which was just delicious
My friend had the dumplings which I had a cheeky sample of too which were tasty.
Staff were friendly and attentive - probably the best service I’ve ever received.
Defo my new favourite spot! It’s located in the Royal Lancaster hotel and is a little spenny but worth it!

Nipa Thai offers a lovely atmosphere with authentic Thai decor and attentive service. The food is flavorful and well-presented, but the prices feel a bit steep for the portion sizes. Overall a good experience, but slightly overpriced for what you get. Great for a special occasion, but not ideal if you're looking for value.

Really great neighborhood restaurant if you’re craving authentic Malaysian food. All the dishes we ordered were solid and we can’t wait to come back to try more dishes. Really liked the noodle dish as well as the peanut sauce with vegetables and fried tofu. Only thing that could’ve been better would be the roti canai and was a bit on the pricier side (came out to £82 for the two of us) but otherwise a great dining experience!

Been to this place a few times now, and never disappointed. The dishes were authentic, delicious, and came in big portions. Very good value for the price for sure. Absolutely loved their oxtails soup, and their weekend special - Nasi Ayam was really nice as well. Will definitely come back for more soon.

My 1st visit here during my 1st vacation in london. Recommended by one of the Malaysian we met during our holiday.
Delicious food selection. Asian and Malaysian lovers should come here. Recommended. Lovely service by the staff. Have place for prayer. However I suggest you should book and reserve table earlier since this restaurant always full with customers and a little crowded. But worth the wait hehe.

The food is ok but it's the menu is misleading.
So I ordered spicy beef curry with 2 roti (flat bread).
Beef was very nicely made but not spicy I understand spice levels can be subjective so I don't mind that but when it came to roti. I asked the waiter if it's an Indian styles roti and he said it's small in size and flat bread so yes, but when it came it was a frozen paratha 😭 I called the waiter and said is this your roti and he said yes this is roti.
For those who don't know frozen paratha is a pastry it's like ordering beef wellington and getting beef pie.
So I didn't make a fuss and started eating but the roti (paratha) was so small and I ran out so I asked for some boiled rice so I got them eating as much as I could and asked the waiter for it to be packed so the waiter just left a box on the table and walked off I had to ask him to pack the food which he than took the kitchen and packaged it.
So time for bill I was really surprised to see the bill of £42 I don't exactly remember the price of each item with the paratha ruined it for me and it felt like the most expensive meal I had in London.
Also I really don't understand why restaurants add in 10% service charge and than ask for tips on top and don't even want to pack your food for you.
I doubt I will be going back but I think they should fix their menu to show exactly what you are getting.

At last we found a restaurant that serves quality malaysian food. We had sup ekor that was so delicious i wanted to praise the cook personally. Unlike many malay sup ekors, this one wasn't too oily and only lightly salted, the flavours were perfectly balanced. A rarity. Pajeri nenas took me back home. The rendang daging however was a crime. It tasted like an instant dish made by mixing the beef with a pre-made rendang sauce. The meat wasn't tender and didn't fall apart when pressed, the flavour just didn't come through. Luckily this didn't ruin our experience. The waiter was very friendly.

I recently had dinner at Noorjahan II and it was such a pleasant experience. The food was bursting with authentic flavors and served piping hot. The butter chicken was especially outstanding rich, creamy, and perfectly cooked. The staff were polite and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. The restaurant itself is clean, cozy, and well-organized. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys delicious food and warm service.

Just an excellent Indian. Great food and a super place to eat (seating inside and outside). But mostly, amazing hosts who value their customers. Don't miss this place!!

Now listen, this place is absolutely wow! At first, the warmth there won my heart - like home. The latte, cappuccino was so creamy and sweet that it became a day in half a sip. As soon as I sat down, the WiFi connected immediately, and the lemon cake... wow, just a sweet-sour balance! The girl from Wahid also took the order in just two minutes, without confusing the papers. Five stars are made, just keep the same people from now on.

I really enjoy coming here. The meals are flavorful, the staff are friendly, and the whole atmosphere feels inviting. It’s rare to find such good food at such a reasonable price in Paddington. Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike.

All I can say is - wow! The food, the service, the prices - what a great little Indian joint. The tandoori wings were to for for, as well and everything else we had. The naan was fresh and of course so were the papadoms. Our main dishes (I can't remember the names, sorry) we're vegetarian. One with stuffed potatoes and one with okra and both were absolutely fabulous. Prices are very reasonable, and it's just legit Indian food. Well done! Thank you!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience here! The service was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

The best Indian food I’ve ever eaten! Everything was so delicious. The staff was pleasant and answered questions about the food. Just a marvelous meal and I wish I could return tomorrow, but alas, I am a born and bred New Yorker.

Delicious vegan-friendly Indian food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Every dish we tried was full of flavor — especially the Aloo Gobi and Pindi Chana. Great service and a lovely spot for plant-based diners. Highly recommended!

We initially wanted to have breakfast at the restaurant next door, but it was full — and we’re so glad it was! This small kiosk/laundry/breakfast spot (seating for maybe 10 people) turned out to be all we needed. Simple setup, but the breakfast ( full English, or muffin, croissant..)was tasty and fresh. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. A great little find!

We popped in here for breakfast and discovered a laundrette in the back of the cafe! Whilst it was a bit strange the businesses seem to co-exist quite well. We had sausage and bacon in French bread which were huge and good value. When we came back to do some laundry however the cost was not as reasonable. Recommend the breakfast.

Was looking for an English breakfast and was going to go to a place a few streets down only to find it was closed. Found this gem nearby with a great English breakfast and a lovely owner. Would mostly recommend for small families or couples! Reasonably priced with good portions.

I was staying at the hotel next door and was looking for a quick place to have breakfast. I found this little gem with a laundromat in the back. The owner was super kind and friendly and made friends with my mom even if she doesn't speak a word of English. 😄 We ended up going back a few times. Had some great conversation too! Highly recommend!!!

Great little place and an unexpected find. This is a small and well frequented neighbourhood cafe with a laundry out back. It was one of those few times you walk in somewhere and it makes you smile. Really large breakfast portions, and kind and helpful service. Felt very welcomed. The food and bakery are fresh and well priced.

Been there for a short break before coming back to work in the afternoon. The only disappointment is they serve tea without any leaves or any trace of tea bag inside the pot. It was like some hot water with colouring. Service was quite slow but understandable.

I booked a private afternoon tea at The Hyde for a bridal shower and had such a wonderful experience! The staff were an absolute delight and even helped me with the set up beforehand, suggesting other elements they had that could be used to decorate the tables. The food was delicious, tea was stunning, space was gorgeous and they definitely let us stay beyond our booking. We had such a lovely time and more importantly, the bride to be loved it! Would definitely recommend and will absolutely be returning!

Went here solo for the vegan afternoon tea & it was ~40£ with the standard tea options. It would have been more expensive for a specialty tea, Prosecco, or kombucha options (see menu photo). The ambience was great but felt like the service was awkward - perhaps it was because I was dining alone? They kept creeping towards me and not making eye contact when we spoke. I also had to flag them down on a couple occasions because they never came to check on me. All that being said, I appreciate the vegan options! Not the freshest spread, and the desserts were not good - kind of stale/chalky - but the tea and scones were good. I probably wouldn’t go back to this place based on the experience I had, but it was an okay option fairly last minute and as a solo diner (other afternoon teas required two or more guests).

My first time at this restaurant and it was an excellent experience. The ambience was so comfortable yet pleasantly stimulating. The afternoon tea was nice and a straightforward procedure. The choices of tea were vast and different - the Oolong Milk Tea was my favourite, the green tea wasn't remarkable but it was standard. I think the fillings of the sandwiches were quite unique however, the bread was slightly oxidised and borderline stale. I would most definitely returning multiple times as the price per person is excellent for the standard of service. Excellent!

Absolutely comfy and elegant place. We went to afternoon tea with two children and they were very kind with them. The chef even prepared a hot chocolate for my 6-years-old daughter! Everything resulted so agreeable, and the food was exquisite.
