The rooms are spacious airy and well appointed with great views. But storage spaces clothes etc for a few days stay are too limited - that’s the only negative I have. The hotel excelled with the staff and their very helpful attitude. We had only arrived on our first day of a 4 day stay in London when we had a family bereavement which required us to cancel all our plans and leave early the next day. The staff and management could not have been better at helping and facilitating us. Particularly Vitali on the front desk and the concierge on the Thursday evening- superb and so accommodating and understanding. Even the following morning at 05.50 the reception staff were superb. Room service were also very helpful and understanding as was dealing with the manager in the Italian restaurant that we cancelled - with no notice. They also had a packed breakfast and some tea ready for us as we left. Thank you. Location is excellent for Heathrow and for walking into town. Highly recommend and despite not availing of any of the facilities it was the people that made this worth returning for.

What a true unassuming gem, hidden in a quiet location. Easy to travel to. Perfect location by the tranquil Italian Gardens. Once the door was opened by the friendly, smiley doorman, we walked into a calm, quiet, luxurious hotel. The front desk staff made checking in easy, even though we were early. Each and every staff member was polite, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. This friendliness make us feel so welcome and made our stay truly special. A special thank you to the bar and restaurant staff including Monir, Tatiana, and Miriam. They were all kind, warm and professional, and this set the tone for the whole stay. Such a memorable birthday trip. Thank you.

On arrival we were helped by the doorman who came out to greet us, the check in was quick and efficient and the room was ready early which was a welcome bonus. Lucy from the guest experience team took us to the room which had an amazing view across the city and Hyde Park. The whole hotel is spotless in every area from the reception area (it was raining when we arrived yet the floors in the lobby were clean and dry). The room had a lovely big comfortable bed was very light with big windows but also had excellent blackout blinds, easy to operate air conditioning and was well equipt with tea and coffee making facilites and plenty of bottled water provided as well. Large bathroom including a bath and seperate shower with a great rainhead, plenty of space and quality 'Jo' toiletries. We had lunch in Nipa Thai which is not to be missed. Fabulous food in beautiful surroundings overlooking Hyde park with fantastic service from everybody and good advice about our menu choices. The hotel Park restaurant for breakfast was also excellent with an extensive buffet both hot (and it was hot) and cold, there was also an a la carte menu option as well. We were greeted, by name, seated in the window looking out onto the fountains of the Hyde Park Italian gardens which was a lovely place to have breakfast and every member of the team were smiling and took time to chat. This is a particular theme of the hotel, the staff members are, without exception, happy to help and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. Monir in the restaurant in particular seemed to be everywhere at once but even found the time to give us some extra information about the property and the facilities available. The hotel and the team all well deserve their 5 star rating, thank you for a memorable stay and looking after us so perfectly.

Stayed for 2 nights but wish it was longer. A very very lovely hotel, great location, quite central to everything. Walking distance to main attractions if you feel like the exercise, otherwise the staff more than happy to assist you by getting transport. Everyone was so friendly, we had a great time. For London, the room was quite spacious, could have done with a bit more space between our twin beds but wasn't an issue. Will definitely come again thanks everyone

My husband and I stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel feels genuinely luxurious and elegant, with beautiful interiors, lots of art throughout the property, spacious rooms, and large, comfortable bathtubs. We also loved that every room includes a yoga mat, which made it easy to do a morning workout before heading out. WiFi was very fast and we never had any issues with it. The location is excellent, right next to Hyde Park, so we enjoyed walking there almost every morning. Breakfast was very good, with generous à la carte portions. We had an issue with our first room, but the team moved us immediately to a complimentary upgraded room and handled everything professionally. Throughout our stay, the staff were attentive, warm and consistently helpful. Their hospitality made a real difference. A wonderful luxury hotel in a fantastic location, big thanks to the team!

I stayed at this hotel for a quick weekend getaway and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent. Near Paddington Station which makes it incredibly convenient, yet the area is very safe and chic. It’s also perfectly positioned to explore the city, right in the middle of everything. taxi, walking and public transportation. The staff were amazing: extremely welcoming, attentive, and genuinely warm throughout the stay. My room was incredible (suite) beautifully designed, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details. The toiletries were fantastic as well (Penhaligon's); you truly don’t need to bring anything because everything is provided and of great quality. What I loved most is the atmosphere of the hotel. It feels very authentic and stylish, with much more character and charm than many large luxury chains. It’s a place with real personality. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it for a stay in London.

This hotel has a lovely boutique quality with the overall ambience and its guest rooms and public rooms are elegant. Breakfast menu was great quality. most of all the staff - Vishnu, Hamish and Mark were gentlemen and extremely helpful in meeting our immediate needs. And only 5 minute walk from Paddington station. We're staying again in September, highly recommended.

We are visiting London and wanted to experience the English afternoon Tea. I booked The Hyde restaurant at Roseate House for a traditional afternoon tea. Although it's quite a simple menu with scones , sandwiches desserts and tea/ coffee, the quality is good. Even the tableware used were so classy. We did not finish the food but we were okay with it as we really just wanted the experience. The waiter Binod was concerned and asked if the food was to our liking as he noticed we did not finish it. I assured him and he gave us an extra pot of tea just to make it up. He was very observant and i wanted to commend on his exceptional service. Overall, a really nice experience at the Hyde restaurant.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The staff were absolutely exceptional attentive, warm, and always ready to help with even the smallest details. Their care and professionalism made a huge difference throughout our visit. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around and enjoy the surroundings. Our room was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated, which made it a pleasure to relax in after a long day. The breakfast was another highlight, offering a special and enjoyable start to each morning. Traveling with a little child can sometimes be stressful, but the team made it incredibly comforting for us. Everyone was so kind and playful with our child, which truly put us at ease. As an Italian, I can only say that, for an Italian restaurant abroad and apparently not run by Italians, it's not bad at all: The pasta was al dente, the sauce was good, and the pizza was also good. We appreciated the welcome and friendliness of the staff, in our case Mr. Josh. The welcome lemonade was also appreciated. The atmosphere was pleasant and clean; the price was also fair. We'll be back to try other dishes on the menu - RECOMMENDED - I apologize for the photo of the pasta as it was taken only after having stirred it with a fork PS: I won't say anything about the coffee as it can't be blamed, but you know, with rare exceptions, only an Italian knows what it means to suffer for any coffee drunk abroad 🤪 😂😂😂

Surpsingly good, honestly. The food was genuinely tasty, especially in comparison to other italian restaurants in the area. The staff were very kind and the kid's menu was well thought out, with the pizza being fully customizable and of appropriate size. The atmosphere was also very nice, open and airy. Overall, a really nice place. Would come again!

30 years ago, I had Pesto here for the first time. Finally back in London and had to make this a stop. I remembered the wagon wheel in the window and had to use google street view to find the name again. Met up with friends and had a fantastic meal together. Highly recommend. Flavors were delicious, pasta perfectly cooked, sauces were well seasoned. Highly recommend. So glad that it has lasted and remains a solid experience.

100% recommend. I went with my boyfriend and we had the most delicous meal. The staff was really lovely. For starters sardines and melon+ham - house red and house white wines. I had the special of the day pasta cream peas onion bacon. Everything was Delicious!!!!!

It was ok. But the sautee potatoes some where cold and still raw in the middle And, being an italian restaurant I found it weird to have a Chianti served in a short-steemed glass that (as far as I know, I might be wrong) is for tasting or dessert wines... Also... if you have 3 single tables in a raw and going to use them individually.. separate them The veil and the apple flan were good. And very nixe customer service anyway.

We had a lovely dinner here - a charming, vintage Italian setting. - The atmosphere feels authentic and cosy. 💁🏻‍♂️ Service was excellent — the waiters were polite, changed dishes between courses (which we really appreciated), and made great recommendations. We ordered four dishes to share between two person: 🔹Apetitiser: “Parma ham & melon” from the day’s special menu 🔹1st main: “Gnocchi con Nduja e Salsiccia” (Italian sausage, nduja, carrots, onion, basil) 🔹2nd main: “Tortelloni Neri al Granchio” (black pasta filled with crab & prawns in a lemon butter sauce) 🔹Dessert: “Tiramisu” Portions were generous, flavours were well-balanced, and presentation was inviting. Overall, a solid 7.5/10 a place worth visiting for both the food and the experience.

I had such a wonderful dining experience at this spot on Lancaster Terrace. Every plate that arrived at our table was a work of art, featuring such delicate touches like the intricate vegetable carving shaped like a rose. The flavors were perfectly balanced and clearly prepared with great care. I was particularly impressed by how vibrant the presentation was, especially with the use of fresh banana leaves on the serving dishes. It is rare to find a place that puts so much effort into the visual details while keeping everything tasting fresh and authentic. I will definitely be back.

A lovely high-end restaurant located within the Royal Lancaster Hotel, offering an elegant setting and beautiful views. The restaurant itself is stylish and welcoming, making it a wonderful place for a relaxed yet refined dining experience. The service was impeccable—attentive, professional, and warm throughout our visit. We ordered a variety of dishes, all of which were flavourful and beautifully presented. To start, we had the fish cakes, soft shell crab, and a refreshing papaya salad. Each dish was well balanced and full of flavour. The beef steak was cooked perfectly and paired with a delicious sauce. The pork spare ribs were meaty and tender with a slight crisp on the edges, adding a great texture. The fish stir fry dish must have had about 8-10 herbs. Loved the sauce it was in. We also ordered the crab curry served with rice vermicelli, and the two complemented each other wonderfully. Every dish was vibrant, colourful, and thoughtfully prepared, including the cocktails. We especially loved the desserts, which were creative, innovative, and a perfect way to finish the meal. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and definitely a restaurant we would happily visit again.

Great experience. The food was amazing and authentic, i recommend trying the crab starter and the Panang curry. Service was quick and efficient, and the restaurant was stunning in itself. They even gave us a complementary dessert for my anniversary. A great place for dates and special occasions.

It was my first time eating at a Malaysian restaurant, and I absolutely loved the experience. The food was delicious, full of amazing flavors, and every dish I tried was excellent. A couple of the dishes were quite spicy for my taste, but they were still incredibly tasty. Overall, I really enjoyed everything I ate. We had the Nasi Goreng Hailam which was so tasty. The broth was delicious and all the other condiments went well with it. We also had a Roti Canai each which was really sweet, but went well with the soup. Then we also shared a Nasi Lemak which was an interesting mix of foods - rice, anchovies and a chilli paste which tasted fantastic together.. I really recommend going here if you're looking for something different while in Paddington.

The food was good, a decent volume with a reasonable price. Fried rice had a bit of a thin taste. We ordered fried chicken. I kinda wish there'd be some veggies/salad along, but it was just chicken. Malaysian milk tea was so tasty, I loved it! The staff was so nice and helpful. Inside is kinda small. At the peak time, you might need to make a reservation.

I popped into Tukdin for the first time before getting my train from Paddington. I’d been searching around online for somewhere near the station that felt a bit different, and this little Malaysian spot really stood out. I visited Kuala Lumpur and Penang a few years ago, and Malaysian food has stayed with me ever since — warm, comforting, full of flavour and with that lovely Nanyang feel. Tukdin was exactly the kind of place I was hoping to find. ✨ I started with the keropok lekor, which I’d never tried before. Made from fish and sago flour, this West Malaysian snack was crisp and golden on the outside, soft and bouncy inside, and wonderfully moreish. The flavour was savoury and lightly briny, while the chilli sauce 🌶️ added just the right touch of sweetness and heat. The service at Tukdin was wonderfully warm — the sort of care that almost feels familial. I originally wanted to order both the Seafood Laksa and the Sup Ekor Pedas, but a lovely lady with glasses, possibly the manager or owner, kindly explained that both were rich, soup-based dishes and suggested I swap one for something different. That advice was genuinely helpful, and I’m very grateful for it. I followed her recommendation and ordered the Nasi Goreng Hailam with the Sup Ekor Pedas, and honestly, it was a brilliant pairing. The fried rice had great wok hei, with sweet cabbage, savoury fish cake and smooth, springy prawns. I finished the whole plate in about fifteen minutes 😂, and it kept me going through a five-hour train journey later that evening. The oxtail soup was also excellent — tender, gelatinous oxtail in a spicy, warming broth that was perfect for a rainy London day. The Pulut Hitam Aiskrim was a real surprise. I’d expected something more like shaved ice or a cold sago-style dessert, but instead it arrived as warm black glutinous rice with cold ice cream on top. The contrast was brilliant — rich, comforting and slightly sticky from the rice, then cool and creamy from the ice cream. That hot-and-cold combination made it genuinely fun to eat, and it ended the meal on a really memorable note. With dishes like the roasted chicken leg rice, Ikan Bakar Air Asam and beef rendang still on my list to try, I already have plenty of reasons to come back. Tukdin is exactly the kind of place I’d happily return to whenever I’m passing through Paddington Station.

This has become one of my favourite Malaysian restaurants in London. We ordered grilled seabass, oxtail soup, keropok lekor, and mee kari. Portions are generous. The star is the mee kari, and it has always been my favourite here. It was so good I finished the whole bowl, even though the portion can easily be shared between two people. The only downside was the waiting time. We ordered first, but the table next to us, who ordered after us and also had mee kari, received their food first. Ours arrived about 10 minutes after theirs, despite the restaurant not being busy. Credit to the staff, the waiters were attentive, helpful, and apologised, explaining that grilled seabass usually takes longer to prepare. Putting the wait aside, the food more than makes up for it. Overall, Id easily give the food 9/10, except the mee kari, which is an 11/10 and an absolute must-try.

We visited Flavours of India in Paddington and overall had a good experience. The taste of the food was really good, and the flavours were enjoyable and authentic. The only thing I felt could have been better was the quantity. For example, the samosa we ordered was quite small, especially compared to what we expected. The pricing also felt a little on the higher side, although London in general is quite expensive. The restaurant was quite crowded when we visited, so I would recommend making a reservation before going, especially during busy hours. Overall, the food tasted very good, and it is a nice place to visit if you are looking for Indian food in Paddington.

Had the rice, Veg Jalfrezi, papad, and mango lassi. The Veg Jalfrezi was good and the papad was also nice. Mango lassi was average. However, I was surprised that rice was charged separately. Overall, the food was decent, but the separate charge for rice was unexpected.

Just had lunch at Flavours of India Paddington, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance, decor, and warm hospitality made me feel truly welcome. The setup, especially the unique bar design and beautiful lighting, added a special charm to the place. I started with two shots of Chivas Regal 12-year whisky, which perfectly complemented the meal that followed. I ordered garlic naan and butter chicken, and honestly, the flavors were absolutely authentic. The aroma and taste instantly transported me back to India it genuinely felt like I was enjoying a home-cooked meal. For the main course, I had biryani, and it was just as impressive rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. A special mention to Avia at the reception her hospitality and professionalism truly stood out. She made the experience even more pleasant with her welcoming nature and attentiveness. She definitely deserves recognition and growth opportunities within the team.Overall, this place is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian food with a comforting, homely touch. I will surely be coming back again!

The Flavors of India definitely has the best to offer when it comes to Indian food. My family and I have been dining at this restaurant since 2016 and it still does not disappoint. The wait staff is vey friendly, atmosphere is elegant, and the food is delicious! You can make or change your reservation with ease. Next time you’re in Paddington, try out Flavors of India and enjoy the taste of real Indian food.

Visited with a reservation. Just a five‑minute walk from Paddington and surrounded by greenery, the place feels calm and has a lovely atmosphere. You can enjoy a traditional afternoon tea here, and every scone, sandwich and mini cake was fantastic — especially the matcha scone, which was amazing. The lemon cream was also a perfect match for the scones. I would love to come again.

I visited in the morning on Monday. There were plenty of empty seats inside. The staff was very nice to invite us to sit in. The environment was comfortable inside. There were a variety of choices for the food including traditional English breakfast, omelette and sandwich. The food was average. The coffee was also average. The service was very efficient and the price was also acceptable. Card and cash payment were also acceptable.

Dine-in on a Wednesday morning around ten o'clock. The full English Chef special was made perfect. Nice big portions. Friendly staff, quick service, and very economical prices. Cozy little spot near Paddington Station to warm up on a cold day!
