5 Star Rating Simply, amazing hotel. Even though they lack a spa, swimming pool or executive lounge, and had a small gym, I can say it easily that it is one of the best hotels I have been to. I stayed there in Dec, simply magical, the vibes are something else from music to lighting … etc it is like you are inside a movie. Some of the staff needs more training but the experienced staff are more and they will host you amazingly. Special thanks to Mr. Vincent. Rooms are excellent, I stayed in basic room and executive room both are amazing. Though I suggest you to take the deluxe room with park view. Breakfast buffet is just amazing and high quality even if it is limited comparing to other 5 stars hotels. The views in the breakfast place facing the park is to die for. Again magical 😊 The location of the hotel is excellent. Hopefully I didn’t miss anything even though I can’t add a lot. Recommend 👍

5 Star Rating We stayed here in January. I had been to this hotel for a Christmas charity event the year before and the Christmas tree in the foyer is very impressive. On this trip we stayed 2 nights I was highly impressed by the rooms the service and the amaretto sours at the first floor bar is great!

5 Star Rating We had the most wonderful stay in our suite. The suite was very clean and comfortable with lovely views of London. There were cakes and a handwritten note welcoming us. I really appreciated the small gestures - there were toiletries specifically for our toddler. The service was very personal and excellent throughout. We really enjoyed the in room dining - the food was excellent. The tea (Camellia) is also very good. The hotel has complimentary EV charging - 3 pin and type 1.

5 Star Rating The hotel is in a fantastic location, specially if you’re in town for a quick visit and want to be close to a lot of sites. The view of Hyde park and the city is 😍😍 the rooms are really small tho. We got an upgraded room and it was still quite small. I did appreciate the great attention to design and cleanliness of the hotel. Overall, would possibly return but would consider looking at other options.

4 Star Rating I went to the Royal Lancaster for their afternoon tea. While the food and tea themselves were very good, the service left a lot to be desired. At 40-45 quid per person, I'd expect far better service. The finger sandwiches were good, but perhaps nothing amazing. The scones were very nice, actually. The desserts were great as well. They are accommodating for halal food and vegetarians. The tea selection was broad, but not vast, but very good. Service was poor. We waited 5 minutes for a staff member to come to the front desk so we could be seated. The first plating came out at a decent speed, but everything after wad quite slow. It was also impossible to flag down the servers, as they seemed to be hiding in the back of house.

5 Star Rating Free upgrade to the best room in the hotel as we were only there for a night. Convenient location close to Paddington station The room was very clean other than a single small scorch mark on the carpet. The employees that dealt with us were very lovely and helpful, among the best we've ever encountered. Despite hotel looking relatively older from the outside, the lifts were all new (which is really useful when you have heavy luggage) Some of the amenities (including the toilet) felt a bit older, but still worked as needed.

3 Star Rating Okay so great service but if all the places we stayed in our 4 week holiday this was the worst. Water was murky, could hear every creak and crack from people moving around above us. Floor space too small to open suitcase. We stayed at premier inns for half the holiday and they were all significantly cheaper and a lot bigger and better than our room here. Incredible service though so feel a bit bad. It's noone there's fault. It's just an awfully designed hotel.

4 Star Rating The hotel is conveniently located near both Paddington and Lancaster Gate stations (train, tube, and bus). We went with our dog a week before Christmas. On prior request, they provided a pet bed and bowl. The room's ceiling was somewhat low. The hotel staff was quite pleasant. Room service may use some work in terms of refilling pantry items and toiletries. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. They charge a refundable deposit in case of a pet stay.

2 Star Rating Our stay was marred by several unacceptable issues. The presence of mold in the bathroom was deeply concerning, and the subpar breakfast, notably the undercooked eggs, fell short of expectations. The situation with the elevator, including a distressing incident and subsequent noise disruption, was exacerbated by the staff's initial inappropriate response, though they later admitted to ongoing elevator problems. Although we were eventually moved to a suite, it doesn't excuse renting out substandard rooms or floors with known issues. Additionally, the refusal to reimburse for an unsatisfactory breakfast service was disappointing, especially for a hotel purporting to be of four-star caliber, a rating that, in our experience, seems overstated. The hotel's failure to meet basic standards and address guest concerns promptly and adequately is alarming and suggests a significant gap between advertised quality and actual service.

5 Star Rating Amazing experience here at Ask Italian. The 3 course Christmas lunch was only £27.50, which is quite a good deal when compared to other restaurants. We didn’t expect the starters to come in large portions too and were already full by the time we got to the mains. The mains themselves were also extremely tasty and the service was amazing. Everyone was really attentive to our table. Would definitely recommend.

3 Star Rating Honest review, the service was slow and the staff were unfriendly almost coldish. I enjoyed the meatball and sage appetizer It was more flavorful than the bolognese pasta. I did ask for extra sauce and they actually made it perfectly. I wish it was just a bit more flavored. The pasta was perfectly cooked. My friend got the beef brisket papardele that was actually delicious. We got the desserts the tiramisu was very tasty and hit the spot.

4 Star Rating A lovely restaurant and while the food was great I am disappointed with the service as was served by three different people and not once was asked if everything was ok with food, it felt like I was served the food and then forgotten about each time. Be aware that they add 10 percent to your bill for service which I believe is wrong for the reason I gave above, you can ask for that to be removed

5 Star Rating This is a sophisticated Glatt Kosher restaurant that stands out as a rare gem in the heart of central London, distinguishing itself from the offerings in the North. The impeccable combination of exquisite food, top-notch quality, and attentive service effortlessly hits all the right marks, creating a memorable dining experience. Moreover, the availability of good-quality Kosher wine makes it an exceptional and satisfying experience.

5 Star Rating Incredible place, that I imagine for most of us, would seldom be a treat! Amazing front of house, very helpful with any needs and suggestions for meals and what might compliment it. We ended up chatting to our waiter after the meal as she was so engaging. Food was amazing as you would expect for the price. Melding jewish cuisine with fine dining in a way that you couldn't tell of any limitations. I was also surprised by how filling the food was, given connotations as to portion sizes for nicer restaurants in general. I had the chicken soup which had an amazing balance of flavours, as well as the duck in orange sauce, which was so delicate but packed so much taste. My favourite was the dessert, which was an Eton mess, generally no idea how they made it as good as it was, with the meringue having an unreal chewy texture and the overall dish feeling refreshing after the meal. If you can afford to go or as a celebration I could not recommend Tony Page any higher.

5 Star Rating Oh. my. god. wow. This is a small Italian restaurant on a quiet street, and one hundred percent worth going to. We went when it wasn’t busy so the staff was very polite and on top of everything. Every single bite of their food exceeded every expectation I had. We started with the garlic bread (which I ate four of) then moved on to the entrees. And then I took a bite of the best pizza I had ever had in my entire life (literally). Every bite of that pizza was like ascending to another plane of existence. I couldn’t finish my meal because I was unbelievably full, but I still ordered desert. We got the gelato and the cheesecake. And the gelato was beyond any other gelato I have ever had. Absolutely wonderful experience, super nice staff and amazing food. Definitely worth checking out.

5 Star Rating This is the best Thai food I’ve ever had. We found this place through Google and when we arrived and noticed it was in a hotel, we were skeptical… But walking into Nipa transported me to Thailand. The decorations and big windows overlooking the Park are just lovely. The service and waiting staff was impeccable. I wish I was able to remember our server’s name, because she was so amazing. All of the staff were so accommodating and kind, and even made food preparations special for my mother who is extremely averse to coriander — and they did it happily! And finally, THE FOOD. They started us out with a complementary fried mushroom with sweet chili sauce. Amazing way to start! We tried all of our normal go-to Thai dishes as a true test — some form of rice wrap, chicken satay, and green curry chicken — as well as their Koong Pao King Prawn special. This food was truly extraordinary. So delicious and flavorful, yet so simply executed. You can tell they take their cuisine very seriously. I have no hesitation saying that this is the best Thai food I’ve ever eaten. I cannot wait to come back for takeaway and dinner many, many, MANY more times! :)

3 Star Rating Tudkin restaurant in London offers a mixed dining experience, with both positives and areas for improvement. The service at Tudkin is friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The staff takes care of their customers' needs throughout the meal. The highlight of the menu is the Beef Ran Dang, which is flavorful and tender. However, the overall food quality falls short of expectations. Out of the six dishes we tried, only one curry stood out as being good. Consistency in the quality of dishes would greatly enhance the dining experience. While the restaurant appears clean, the seating arrangement is a bit tight, and the seats themselves are not very comfortable.

4 Star Rating Its been over a decade since i last ate here. I feel that the food quality is about the same; its good for something away from the flagpole but nothing to write home about. They dont skimp on the flavors, but portions could be better/improved for what you pay for. There was very little meat in the daging salai masak lemak but lots of bamboo shoots. Seating is very tight. You get bumped every single time the server or guest walks behind your chair if you are seated in the aisle when there are a lot of patrons. It gets very annoying quickly. There was a guest that sat at our table when one of us vacated the seat to go to the bathroom because i guess they wanted our table and was pressuring us to leave. It may have seen like we were done eating or something, but not all of our dishes had even arrived. We were still waiting on the desserts. The servers looked like they did not care and we had to tell her off. Food took a while to get out and they came out sporadically. Drinks came out quick though. Overall, a good place to get a taste of malaysian food while in london but the dining experience is lacking.

5 Star Rating The Rendang is very delicious The udang masak (prawn) is delicious The roti canai dhal is good too The ayam goreng (chicken with egg yolk) is good but I would not order it again as it was deep fried and somewhat too greasy for my taste My friend had the noodles which she liked a lot and said was flavorful. The service is friendly and attentive, the only issue is all our food arrived at once and the fried chicken came to the table cold, when we told the server they told us they’d take it back and reheat it for us. I do not know if that is acceptable by any standard but given the price being charged, I expect my food to arrive to the table hot, so no reheating!

5 Star Rating I don't usually write reviews but this place was so lovely I had to !! I got the chicken curry with rice and it was amazing, would definitely recommend giving this place a try and for sure be coming back. The staff were so lovely and welcoming and greeting everyone with a smile (and a Salaam if they saw you were visibly muslim). If I wasn't going back for the food I'd defo be going back for them :)) The place itself is also very muslim friendly. There's a prayer room downstairs (only big enough for one person at a time, and also has a wudhu basin inside too), they don't serve alcohol at all, and the entire menu is halal, with a couple of vegetarian options. The actual dining area is quite small but it does feel really intimate and homey, it wasn't busy when we went (just before 1pm) and it was a really nice vibe/environment. It's a little pricey but that's to be expected in London. It's definitely cheaper and far more authentic than the other Malaysian restaurant down the road though. You know Tukdin is good when Malaysian people choose to regularly dine there and enjoy the food a lot. - Fried Garlic Chicken - so so crispy and full of flavour, was a little tough though but that could just be because I ate it after it sat on the table for a while - 6.5/10 - Chicken Curry with Rice - literal perfection, the curry was so creamy, with the perfect level of spice and the portions were so big. they definitely weren't stingy with the chicken as well as there was so many pieces - 10/10

2 Star Rating Chose this place because of previous reviews. Was seated quickly and I knew what I wanted. Let the waiter talk me into lamb chops with side of spinach & rice. Lamb was flavorful but dry and had to choke down. I got up to go to the restroom and when I got back they had cleared my table taking remaining food and beverage. At this point I wanted to get out of there so I asked for a check. The waiter brought the bill but would only show me the total. 40GBP. He told me that the tip was not included and I should give him that in cash. I will not be returning to this establishment on future visits.
