First time staying here and can not fault it. Service was amazing, large corner room was one of the best I have stayed in London. Location next to Hyde Park spot on. Walking distance to many places and excellent connections with Paddington St on your doorstep. Would definitely recommend

This was my Birthday treat, organised by a friend of mine, & what can I say the lovely ladies on the reception were such gems. Approachable and friendly ladies. ( we stayed on the 15th June arrived around 7pm I can not remember their names sorry
I got upgraded to the 12th floor which was lovely surprise.
What can I say the room was beautiful we even got a welcome letter and fruit cake amenity on arrival.
Which I thought was a lovely thought.
I stayed with my Mum, who does not take lifts. However she is fit and healthy and enjoyed walking up the stairs in which one of the ladies directed us. The other lady directed us where mum could have a cigarette in the discrete smoking area.
The room was clinically clean the towels were nice a fluffy. Electric blinds were a must.
Toiletries on end.
The view was a bonus we could see the London Eye, BT tower.
Let’s talk about breakfast, we were greeted by the lovely Yolanda, what a treasure, she gave us a friendly welcome, explained the menu and directed us to a lovely seating area.
Hiroshi came over to us to ask if we needed anything, again super friendly and nice.
Our main waiter and Waitress were Mercalina and Josh. The smiles and warmth of them both, they presented everything to perfection. Our cappuccinos were made with love and the breakfast choice was to die for, we were definitely spoilt for choice with the variety and huge selection for everyone to the full English breakfast to the health choices.
What a treat I wish I could just come for the breakfast if ever I’m in the area.
The breakfast was presented very well and nothing was out of place.
As soon as anything got touched a member of the team quickly replaced it.
The restaurant was busy and everyone still had a smile on their face, ready to work and just get on with it. Make sure you get the classic cheese and tomato omelet.
We had a lovely fearwell by again the lovely Yolanda and Francesca.
Attention to detail was definitely 5 star,
Deliciousness was again 10/10
Room 10/10
Bath room 10/10
Staff 10/10
Could not fault our experience and mum enjoyed herself also and expresses how much she loved it.
Dadar checked us out seamlessly quick and easy again with a friendly smile and approach.
Thanks so much hope to come again soon

Visited the Royal Lancaster for an awards event. Didn't stay at the hotel. The event was amazing, a beautifully presented and luxurious hotel. Spacious drinks areas. An entire wall lifted into the ceiling to reveal the dining area and awards!! Excellent service from servers. Great choice of drinks. Food was superb!

Fantastic hotel! I am a little invested with nice hotels and this one was amazing.
Firstly, it’s amazing for the value. If I paid £300 a night I would have been disappointed, but for £150 it was outstanding value. I was surprised at every step by how good it was for the price.
The reception is smart with a welcoming doorman and very lovely staff. We managed to get a check in 3hrs early which was much appreciated. The room was large and well appointed with a huge, comfortable bed. We had room service for dinner which was delicious. Even the check out time of 1200 was generous. Some of the furniture had some chips and marks etc, but for the price this was totally fine when you account for how everything else was so spot on. All in all a wonderful experience and located a few steps from Paddington Station.

Great location and generous checkout times. The rooms were clean but small.
The rest of the experience was lacking for us and was especially disappointing for a 5 star hotel.
Our room experienced loud mechanical rattling in the night. We had to get out of bed, pack up and move to a room in the basement.
The room in the basement was underneath the lobby/dining area. The two pushed together beds were smaller than a regular bed so our feet dangled off the edge.
The following morning we were woken early by the lobby foot traffic and leaf blowers outside our below ground window.
The staff did not follow up on how our stay was when we checked out. We got the impression that they only wanted to ask that question if they knew the answer would be positive.

This is not a 5 star hotel. I am regretting not staying at the premier inn because the room is smaller and less strategically laid out. Whatever smell they are pumping in to the lobby has the overpowering, fake smell of roses that makes you want to puke. The kind lady that checked me in could barely speak English. You can hear the conversations in the rooms around you. The room smells like your worst memories of old people (which is a welcome smell after how much time was spent in the lobby checking in.) The air conditioner sucks. The water pressure is the slow big, fat tears after a break up. The charging ability is so archaic I had to make a rig.
The only upside is the location and the bartender did make a 20 quid, but decent vodka martini.
To summarize- choose a different hotel as there are many, many better options in the area at this price point.

Hotel itself was quite nice but they need to get their systems in check as I received upwards of 20 emails and 8 phone calls confirming, reconfirming and reconfirming my booking details. They’re very sweet, but just seem very disorganized. I won’t even go into the debacle that was the car service they “arranged” for me to the airport after checkout. Suffice it to say, I strongly recommend getting an Uber.

Came here on a Saturday lunch time and was promptly greeted and seated. It wasn’t busy with lots of seating available.
You are offered a small shot of homemade lemonade on arrival which is very nice.
The server was nice and the drinks were given very promptly with frozen ice glasses to ensure an ice cold beverage. The food was not much longer of a wait.
I got the stromboli pizza which was very good, they give you a proper pizza cutter which is rare for a lot of places. The pizza was really nice, and what seems to be manager made sure everything was good and asked if we needed anything at all.
Afterwards we were not rushed to leave, and the bill was promptly delivered which is a big plus as a lot of places recently it’s a chore to get the bill.
Overall this restaurant is great for just outside of Paddington, the pricing for the food is reasonable and great tasting.

Roomy place with a great atmosphere. Only negative thing is the ambience. It can get noisy. There is also a fan in the roof that makes a lot of sound.
Food was served fast and the menu was very kid friendly. Good menu and great selection for the season.

A wonderful hidden Italian restaurant, established over 50 years ago away from the main drag of Paddington/Praed St. Staff wonderful, food delicious and atmosphere lovely. Give it a go, you won't regret it. The tiramisu gets a special mention, homemade and delicious 😋

All the dishes we had were excellent much like the waitstaff. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful and also had a good sense of humor, enhancing the dining experience. The desserts were also just as good as the entrees. Definitely a must try if you are in the area.

Warm & cosy restaurant with friendly staff. We didn't have a reservation for a thursday night, but the night was early and there was plenty of room for a oarty of three. The food was good and had a genuine, italian home-made zing. Very good value for the money, not too posh. Would visit again.

The restaurant is tucked away on the first floor of the Royal Lancaster London Hotel. You enter through the elegant marble foyer, head up the stairs, and turn right. It sets the tone beautifully.
We were greeted warmly by the manager and shown to a window table overlooking Hyde Park. Our 18:30 reservation meant the restaurant was still quiet, with only one other table occupied, a perfect start.
The menu is broad but not overwhelming. I chose the chicken and coconut soup, chicken stir-fry, and mango sorbet for dessert. Every dish was exceptional, the best Thai food I’ve had anywhere.
Service was attentive without being intrusive. The team clearly know what they’re doing and let the food speak for itself.
The whole experience reflects the setting, refined, calm, and just the right side of luxurious.
Excellent food, excellent staff. I’ll definitely be back, and would highly recommend you book a table too.

My wife and I came here based on recommendation. We are staying at the hotel and someone that did not work for the hotel informed us that the hotel owner was from Thailand and opened the restaurant for his wife so it was authentic. This was my first experience with thai food and I was not disappointed. My wife had the chicken pad thai, she's had a lot of pad thai she said it was on par with the best she's had. I had the Pad kra pao with chicken. It was nice and spicy yet not so much that it overpowered the flavor. For appetizers we had the peanut chicken rice dumplings, they were excellent. One of the staff suggested I try a bit of the chili that was on the plate with some of the lettuce and herbs. That was a great suggestion, the heat snuck up on me but it still did not mask the mix of flavors. We were told the chilis were imported from Thailand which was why they were so hot, I loved the authentic experience. For dessert we had the coconut ice cream, it came in a coconut shell and was the best coconut ice cream I've ever had. The texture from the coconut flakes were still there, it tasted as though it was made in house with the coconuts. It's worth going even if you aren't staying in the hotel.

Really great neighborhood restaurant if you’re craving authentic Malaysian food. All the dishes we ordered were solid and we can’t wait to come back to try more dishes. Really liked the noodle dish as well as the peanut sauce with vegetables and fried tofu. Only thing that could’ve been better would be the roti canai and was a bit on the pricier side (came out to £82 for the two of us) but otherwise a great dining experience!

My 1st visit here during my 1st vacation in london. Recommended by one of the Malaysian we met during our holiday.
Delicious food selection. Asian and Malaysian lovers should come here. Recommended. Lovely service by the staff. Have place for prayer. However I suggest you should book and reserve table earlier since this restaurant always full with customers and a little crowded. But worth the wait hehe.

At last we found a restaurant that serves quality malaysian food. We had sup ekor that was so delicious i wanted to praise the cook personally. Unlike many malay sup ekors, this one wasn't too oily and only lightly salted, the flavours were perfectly balanced. A rarity. Pajeri nenas took me back home. The rendang daging however was a crime. It tasted like an instant dish made by mixing the beef with a pre-made rendang sauce. The meat wasn't tender and didn't fall apart when pressed, the flavour just didn't come through. Luckily this didn't ruin our experience. The waiter was very friendly.

We initially wanted to have breakfast at the restaurant next door, but it was full — and we’re so glad it was! This small kiosk/laundry/breakfast spot (seating for maybe 10 people) turned out to be all we needed. Simple setup, but the breakfast ( full English, or muffin, croissant..)was tasty and fresh. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. A great little find!

We popped in here for breakfast and discovered a laundrette in the back of the cafe! Whilst it was a bit strange the businesses seem to co-exist quite well. We had sausage and bacon in French bread which were huge and good value. When we came back to do some laundry however the cost was not as reasonable. Recommend the breakfast.
