5 Star Rating Was looking for a cheap place for few drinks with my work colleagues and came across Core bar! Very affordable place compared to other places on that location. Happy hour gets very busy but the staff manages it well. Many thanks to Dagmara for recommending us delicious cocktails. We had a blast!

5 Star Rating We stumbled upon this fantastic bar one evening and haven't looked back! Thursdays bring the place to life with a lively DJ and budget-friendly happy hour drinks. Dagmara, our witty and welcoming bartender, made the experience even better with her fantastic cocktail recommendations. It's definitely a must-visit spot in London!

4 Star Rating Very close to Bank and Mansion House tube stations This is a great city club with a nice upstairs bar and a soscious downstairs area with a dance floor and two bar areas. Food is good, they served small plates of risotto, mac n cheese, sausage and mash, fish and chips The DJ plays 80s and 90s but as the night wears on they get more eclectic with a mash up of basement and rnb favourites. There are two bars in the basement which are well attended and stocked. Not a long wait Bar games and attendant staff, both security and the cloakroom, look after you Obviously popular judging by the crowd building up outside after 23:00

5 Star Rating We went for a quick dinner on Thursday night, restaurant was not too busy. Food was served quickly, nice and hot. They served some unique Dim Sum choices too. Staff are very attentive and helpful. They mentioned all the dish name when they served the food. Definitely a very pleasant visit.

5 Star Rating The benefit of a chain is it's uniform so you know what you're going to get. I'm a big fan of Pi g Pong restaurants and this one is no exception. Great tasting menu, it's enough food and their lunch time special means it's very reasonable. This branch is well located for St Paul's Cathedral and cannon street station.

5 Star Rating The food and service at Ping Pong is always brilliant. The staff were really welcoming and attentive! I have a couple of dietary restrictions, and there’s still a great range of options for me to choose from and enjoy - the food is delicious, they have a good gluten free menu, and a detailed allergy matrix which is helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

4 Star Rating Second outdoor dining experience since lockdown easing. So grateful to be able to drink a pint of peroni with some friends. The food is delicious and service excellent, especially with one of the managers who was super friendly. Service speed is also pretty good. Location is in the alley so not ideal but works, sadly it was quite cold as not enough heaters to go round. Also, we asked for a beer from two different waiters for a friend, and although the 5th beer ever came we were charged. Nevertheless, the super friendly manager came to the rescue. A three course with a beer, and a bottle of malbec between 4 came to almost £60, definitely not cheap but probably reasonable with the alcohol. (PS sorry for the bad looking second photo, was too hungry and forgot to take the photo first)

5 Star Rating A great location and if the weather is nice, the seats outdoors with the view of the city is lovely. The food was really good and despite some confusion when enquiring about a dessert ingredient with the staff, they were patient and made sure I got the information I needed. We came on a weekday evening for dinner and it was really full and busy.

4 Star Rating I went for dinner with a large party. The meal was very nice. It was quite a variety, starting with ravioli and a main course of fish. The fish was beautifully prepared. I wish I had ordered the Apple for dessert. A friend ordered it and it was amazing! I ordered the flourless chocolate cake. It was fine but nothing like the Apple. The meal also ended with complimentary petit fours and those were better than the chocolate cake! The location was a little difficult to find. The elevator is tucked away but it opened to a beautiful terrace.

5 Star Rating We had our work Christmas lunch here, which was a really nice treat! The food was exceptional, and the drink was top notch. We tried quite a few things on the menu and everyone was well pleased with what they had, while also being slightly envious of things that other people had chosen. We had an aperitif to start and then shared a couple of bottles of Chanlis with our meal. It was busy, but the service was attentive throughout, without being OTT. Would definitely recommend 👌

5 Star Rating I love it here. I usually just have drinks but had dinner tonight. Started with a non alcoholic cocktail, Everleaf Forest, which was delicious and refreshing, whilst sitting outside. Moving inside for dinner; starter was Escargot de Bourgogne, which had lots of garlic & parsley butter that I could dip my bread into. The butter is delicious. Main course; My pal had tuna, which I have to say I found cold on arrival, but my steak (Chateaubriand) was cooked to perfection. I rubbed a knob of butter on the meat, which made it perfect 👌. Dessert was apricot tart. I really enjoyed the pastry. Service: amazing. The staff are attentive, swift, and gracious, which makes for a wonderful dining experience. As it was a Monday evening, although busy, it was not overly crowded or noisy.

4 Star Rating A large city pub, still connected to its history. Big & squared, high ceiling with faux panels & chandeliers retain the feeling of City of London bank pub. Large central bar with open space throughout, a snug at the back and spacious outdoor street drinking space. Victorian pillars, quarter wood panelled walls and an exposed brick finished top. Large ceiling recesses add to the space and heritage feel with ample, coved and edged lines. Large square, original windows and vast sills for coats and bags. Plenty of visible screens for sport, good vibe music and a busy buzz.

4 Star Rating A lovely, cavernous city pub just off Watling Street. Plenty of both Cask and Keg to choose from along with wines and whatever spirits you may fancy. Fast polite and cheerful service from the crew behind the bar. A Friday afternoon, demonstrating the return of the office folk. There is a cellar bar offering more room on crowded occasions along with a rear, raised area on the ground floor. A most enjoyable pint!

5 Star Rating It was great food. Very delicious and look nice. We didn’t know that they charge tips for the bill. It was my first tip culture in the UK, and I was a little confused because there was no explanation from the staff. It turned out that the bill said voluntary tip in small letters. However, tourists who are not good at English need sufficient explanation for this.

5 Star Rating We were asked on arrival if we were there for an occasion to which we responded that it was our anniversary. When it was time for pudding they brought out a free crème brûlée with Happy Anniversary in chocolate writing. It is an expensive experience, but you get what you pay for and should probably expect this in London anyway. The food was all perfectly done, absolutely no complaints in that department either. I thought they had a good selection of sides. It is a steak house so I didn’t look at the vegetarian options to make any comment (but the menus are all online if you wanted to look). The service was absolutely amazing; there were times I looked at my wine and water and they had definitely been topped up without me noticing. Everyone was super lovely, knowledgable about the food and accommodating!

2 Star Rating I recently dined at this restaurant, and while the food was excellent, several aspects of the experience left me disappointed. Firstly, I was disappointed by the hostess’s attitude. Despite available outdoor tables, we were not given the option to sit outside, and she seemed to penalize us for booking on the same day. This was quite off-putting. The pricing for the ribeye steaks also left me perplexed. Offering two 250g steaks for £68 and a single 500g steak for only £1 more didn’t make much sense from a value perspective. On the positive side, the service was efficient, but the ambiance left much to be desired. There was no music, and the decor felt plain and sad. Another drawback was the limited dessert menu, with only three options. Moreover, the absence of decaf coffee was surprising, as they could only offer instant decaf. Despite the great quality and presentation of the food, these negatives overshadowed the experience. I’m left with the impression that I probably won’t return to this restaurant in the future.

4 Star Rating Nice experience good was cooked well and had good flavours. Staff felt quite rushed, as though there was pressure to get people ordered, fed and left as quickly as possible. Multiple times we were told we had to vacate our table in 10 minutes, yet no one brought the bill over for us. We were eventually brought the bill and asked to leave at about 8:30. I expect because they wanted to fit extra covers in, although on the way out we noticed plenty of other free tables. Popular with the after work crowd.
