4 Star Rating A luxurious 5-star hotel in London, and it exceeded all my expectations, the ambiance exuded elegance and sophistication. The staff were incredibly attentive. As for the culinary experience, every dish was a masterpiece. The lobster taco was a delightful fusion of flavors, perfectly complemented by the succulent beef steak cooked to perfection. The Winter in Japan cocktail was a refreshing and innovative blend that tantalized my taste buds. And let’s not forget about the dessert! The chocolate cheesecake was an absolute standout, with its rich and velvety texture melting in the mouth with every bite. To top it all off, they surprised me with a complimentary birthday cupcake, which was a thoughtful gesture that added an extra touch of warmth to the evening. Overall, The Madison offers a dining experience that is worth every penny. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for impeccable service and top-notch cuisine.

3 Star Rating Madison is a very beautiful restaurant with view of St Paul Cathedral. The atmosphere feels very cozy with a touch of fancy. The food is really good. I did not put five stars because I’ve had better meals elsewhere but I still find it good for the price. I was disappointed about the service. we felt it was quite long to get served and also at the end I’ve asked for a to go box which I was denied. And the reason behind it was that they didn’t want me to go home and get food poisoning from my to go box and then hold them accountable which I thought was ridiculous and for this reason they will get only three stars from me because I think that’s terrible customer service.

4 Star Rating The place is nice and spacious, the view is beautiful if you are sitting close to the window. The food tastes good however the food size is a bit small and the starters not as great. Was served only chicken and i was getting tired of eat only one thing at least put chips on the side. The drinks are way overpriced 200ml Coke costs £4. When you can get a bigger bottle for cheaper. The food is overpriced too however, it tastes good. Give more food on the plate if you are going to charge crazy.

5 Star Rating The ambiance at Core Bar is simply fantastic, setting the scene for an unforgettable evening. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. And let me tell about Devan - his service was outstanding. He was attentive, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Core Bar is definitely our new favorite spot, thanks in no small part to Devan's exceptional service. Highly recommend checking it out!

3 Star Rating I'll start with the good: 2 of my 3 courses were tasty, and once the initial hit on the bar was done, service was quick and staff were very friendly. My reason for only 3 stars is here: We were told to be there from 7, but it was the day of multiple tube strikes, so we left loads of time and so arrived at 18:45. We weren't allowed in until 19:02, which, if that's their opening time, then that's just how it is...however, when we eventually got in after quite a journey and waiting outside (so quite thirsty), the bar then couldn't serve (the till needed the supervisor to open it) until 19:15. In isolation, either of these would've been fine. Once food started, service was quick and efficient, for the starter and main, and my wife's and my dishes were delicious. For dessert however my wife ordered a cheesecake, which was still frozen in the middle. We shared it, as I had ordered the chocolate tart which would hopefully be better. However the staff had messed up the delivery and the only dessert left was another semi frozen cheesecake. To my mind, with a party of such size (30) and if there is potential of error in delivery, then they should have a few buffers per course, but that wasn't the case. If the cheesecake had been nice, I also might not have minded, but it wasn't. As always, I far prefer giving good reviews to bad, but this was my experience.

5 Star Rating Let's just start with the punchline: I highly recommend this place. We were just casual walking around enjoying the after work pub environment that tends to spill out onto the streets. After grabbing a beer, we decided to walk around and see what other pubs and restaurants were in the area. We tend to enjoy the "small plate" meals during our work trips to London because it gives us a chance to enjoy a variety of foods. Ping Pong Bow did not disappoint. We selected several items and the came out in sequence allow us to enjoy a few things at a time with the table being overrun with dishes. Everything we selected was great, and we were only disappointed because we were full and have to wait to come back to try more items. This place is best enjoyed with a small group, which will just increase the variety of options you can try.

5 Star Rating The benefit of a chain is it's uniform so you know what you're going to get. I'm a big fan of Pi g Pong restaurants and this one is no exception. Great tasting menu, it's enough food and their lunch time special means it's very reasonable. This branch is well located for St Paul's Cathedral and cannon street station.

4 Star Rating Second outdoor dining experience since lockdown easing. So grateful to be able to drink a pint of peroni with some friends. The food is delicious and service excellent, especially with one of the managers who was super friendly. Service speed is also pretty good. Location is in the alley so not ideal but works, sadly it was quite cold as not enough heaters to go round. Also, we asked for a beer from two different waiters for a friend, and although the 5th beer ever came we were charged. Nevertheless, the super friendly manager came to the rescue. A three course with a beer, and a bottle of malbec between 4 came to almost £60, definitely not cheap but probably reasonable with the alcohol. (PS sorry for the bad looking second photo, was too hungry and forgot to take the photo first)

5 Star Rating What a gem of a restaurant tucked away in the heart of the city. A charming, traditional italian restaurant where the service and food are consistently good. A successful family run restaurant, where their usp is that nothing has changed over the years in terms of decor and ambience where you can enjoy good food and good wine. You are instantly transported to Italy as you walk through the door. A lovely italian dining experience

4 Star Rating The food is good, probably starters and second courses better than pasta. Some desserts are good but I didn’t like their version of tiramisu. Is not cheap if you are looking for a 3 course dinner but reasonable being in St Pau’s area, they have also set / special menus and the portions are large. Staff is very nice and service good. The owner has Italian parents, the atmosphere is the same of a typical italian cosy restaurant. At the end of the dinner you might meet the owner eating and singing with friends. I enjoyed very much Vitello tonnato, Carpaccio with truffle fondue and the lamb

5 Star Rating I recommend! 5 stars +. This is the place where I chose to propose my girlfriend. Everything was perfect. I made the reservation for six people. They allowed me to use their terrace, which has a wonderful view. I have visited many restaurants, but I can say that this is one of the top. Their staff is very kind and organized. The receptionist was very nice to us; she made sure that everything went well and that the marriage proposal remained a surprise for my girlfriend. The service was impeccable; we didn't have to wait at all. They have a superb view towards the center of London. I want to thank them again for their warm welcome. 100% I will return to them in the future.

5 Star Rating My expectations were low about this restaurant because of the negative reviews, but now I understand why people wrote negative reviews about it: jealousy. This place is absolutely stunning. The receptionist has been so lovely and caring with us, taking care of my flowers. The service as well has been impeccably perfect, the waitresses were always there to make sure we were fine. The food is DIVINE!!!! Guys you need to try this restaurant once in a lifetime. Burrata was absolutely delicious, the lamb shank: standing ovation. One of the best restaurants of D&D London group. Please congratulate on my behalf with all the staff also in the kitchen. 3 Star Rating Unfortunately the food did not hit the mark you’d expect for a restaurant operating at this level/price. The lamb shank was under seasoned and undercooked. I had to use my knife (which was not sharp enough) to aggressively pull the meat apart, when I normally use only my fork. It was a shame considering how much effort went into the overall presentation of the dining room as well as each dish, and the wait staff was great. I’m hoping my experience was an exception and not the rule

5 Star Rating Stopped by for lunch on our first day of our London trip as it turned out that most of the restaurants here were closed during the weekend. The food came out quick even by American standards which was much appreciated. The waitress was very patient and attentive and really paid attention when my wife asked to not have garlic and chillies in her food. The lobster salad was very flavorful with the veggies cooked to perfection. The classic whole lobster was grilled tender and paired well with the butter sauce. Would recommend half and half for the croquettes, as you will get a total of four.

5 Star Rating Wasn’t expecting much knowing that it’s a chain, but found it rather a great experience, especially when dropping in when the restaurant isn’t so busy in late afternoon for pre theatre dinner. Both the steamed/boiled lobsters and the roll/sandwich were much better than expected in quality than what you’d normally get at a chained restaurant. The croquettes and oysters 🦪 however were found lacking in many ways. The oysters were fishier than ones I’ve had (not sure if it’s the freshness or just the variety) and the croquettes were…to put it simply, boring and lacking in any lobster flavour. Overall though, I’d re visit for the vibe, ambiance, nice booth, hospitality and the lobsters themselves.

When it was time for pudding they brought out a free crème brûlée with Happy Anniversary in chocolate writing. It is an expensive experience, but you get what you pay for and should probably expect this in London anyway. The food was all perfectly done, absolutely no complaints in that department either. I thought they had a good selection of sides. It is a steak house so I didn’t look at the vegetarian options to make any comment (but the menus are all online if you wanted to look). 5 Star Rating Everything was 5 star. The ambiance, service and food were outstanding. The manager let my wife try a few wines before she decided what to order. The place is expensive (£70 each) but worth it. I included a pic of our Pancetta desert.

5 Star Rating Had dinner here last week after work. Place was busy. Our first time here and absolutely loved it! Bon, the manager and his team were wonderful & welcoming. We had a mix platter, to which he recommend as this gave us a selection. For our mains we opted for the Stir Fried Basil Chicken and Pad Se Eiw. Both were flavourful and generous is portion size. We will definitely be back!

5 Star Rating Went here for dinner, the place was quite busy for a Thursday night. The food was really good, would definitely recommend the Weeping Tiger and the Salt and Chilli Squid. The service was good and the staff were friendly. The prices are a little bit expensive but expected for the area.

4 Star Rating Very good selection of classic thai appetizers, soups and entrees served in a gorgeous setting at reasonable prices. Good service too! Definitely worth a visit, we'd return if we were in town longer.

5 Star Rating Decent foods, absolutely no comment needed on taste. Quick operation is a plus, but quite expensive price. Was a little too dark on night, still, I was able to find foods but would be great if less darker. Definitely going back.

3 Star Rating We ordered vegetarian starter platter and Jungle curry for dinner last night. Food was slightly disappointing as tempera was super oily, corn cake was sticky and chewy. Jungle curry was flavourless, have had better in other Thai restaurants. Hot sticky rice comes wrapped in plastic cover which isn't exactly good for our health considering it can be carcinogenic! We had to wait almost 15mins for the bill and to see 12.5% service charge was the limit. It wasn't like the staff were friendly or helpful going out of way...they were somewhat robotic in service! The only good thing was the ambience.
