We’ve celebrated my mom’s birthday here. It is very cozy and the staff was very kind and got us seated even without a booking.
We enjoyed tasty truffle fries and cocktails with a great view on Saint Paul’s for lunch. And even when we’re not from the area ourselves we enjoyed escaping tourism for a while. Thanks for having us !

The vibes are immaculate!!! Best views of the Cathedral. We had Ricardo as our server and he took such good care of us. He made sure we had everything we needed. Our food order came out quick, drinks were good. If you ever come here you won’t regret it.

Breathtaking views & great food,
Perfect place for an evening or the day.
But Amanda at the front service,
Was really the one who took our heart away!
A place can be good or really good,
With food, drinks, and views.
But staff like her ensures that you come back,
And are forced to write such reviews!

I took my partner here last night for his birthday dinner. We had a very warm welcome from the staff and were taken to our Al fresco table over looking the magnificent St Paul's cathedral. It had a cosy feel and great music from the DJ. The wait staff we had were a little quiet but friendly. After a slight confusion on prices of the set menu (online is says from £29 for 2 courses, but its actually £46 for 2 courses unless you specifically found and chose the other option) so make sure you're aware of what booking you make. The service was quick, the food was good although mu steak wasn't rested long enough and I had a salad drenched in blood. The Prosecco was lovely (free glass with meal) the cocktail presentation was wonderful with the St Paul's image on it but the flavours let it down.
Spectacular views of St Paul's and great photo ops.
Dishes were served quickly, with a friendly smile.
I think the drinks are somewhat over priced for what is being offered.
However all in all we had a lovely night and I'd probably go back or take visitors there for a special occasion..

We went for a 3-course set menu and the food was really good. The team were helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend the goddess salad, brownie dessert and the sundae dessert. Delicious.

I recently visited The Core Bar, and it was a fantastic experience. The ambiance was vibrant, and the drink selection was excellent. A special mention goes to Maneesha, the bar attendee, whose exceptional service truly elevated the evening. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone was well taken care of. Her effort was much appreciated and made the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for a great night out!

Core Bar is a fun and stylish spot, perfect for grabbing drinks with friends or enjoying a night out. The place has a great vibe with music, cool decor, and plenty of room to hang out. Their cocktails are a must-try, and the bartenders are super skilled. Devan, one of the bartenders, really stands out—he’s friendly, makes killer drinks, and adds a personal touch that keeps me coming back. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

I recently went to Core Bar and had an amazing drink. The service was fantastic, and I met a bartender named "Maneesha", who was really polite. I appreciated how well she did her job; it left a great impression on me.

That bar had such a cool atmosphere, and the drink selection was top-notch! I'll definitely swing by on weekends or whenever I have free time in London. Maneesha, one of the bartenders, really went above and beyond with her service. She helped us pick out cocktails, even though we weren't too familiar with all the options. Her relaxed and friendly approach made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The drinks she whipped up were truly exceptional, some of the best we've ever had!

Let's just start with the punchline: I highly recommend this place. We were just casually walking around enjoying the after work pub environment that tends to spill out onto the streets. After grabbing a beer, we decided to walk around and see what other pubs and restaurants were in the area. We tend to enjoy the "small plate" meals during our work trips to London because it gives us a chance to enjoy a variety of foods. Ping Pong Bow did not disappoint. We selected several items, and they came out in sequence, allowing us to enjoy a few things at a time with the table not being overrun with dishes. Everything we selected was great, and we were only disappointed because we were full and have to wait to come back to try more items. This place is best enjoyed with a small group, which will just increase the variety of options you can try.

We enjoyed our late lunch dim sum at Ping pong . The manager was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was nice and calm.
Food was good value; I enjoyed the meaty dim sum more than the Veggy ones. Wonton veggies soup was very nice.
Drinks are nice too.
Thank you again!

We went during happy hour (1/2 off dim sum, M-F!!!) and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was great, they have robots that pick up dirty dishes and drop off food, the place is huge (good for singles , couples and groups) and the food…
Dim sum of all types (veggie and meat), fresh and hot, perfect sauces, the appetizers and the bao buns, and the mini desserts (we tried them all!!)-> everything we had was great!
We talked about this place the rest of the weekend!! We would definitely go back.

We went for a quick dinner on Thursday night, restaurant was not too busy. Food was served quickly, nice and hot. They served some unique Dim Sum choices too.
Staff are very attentive and helpful. They mentioned all the dish name when they served the food. Definitely a very pleasant visit.

The benefit of a chain is it's uniform so you know what you're going to get. I'm a big fan of Pi g Pong restaurants and this one is no exception. Great tasting menu, it's enough food and their lunch time special means it's very reasonable. This branch is well located for St Paul's Cathedral and cannon street station.

I recently had dinner here with a few colleagues, and while the food was a bit of a mixed experience, the service left much to be desired. Our waitress seemed uninterested and quite grumpy, which put a damper on the overall atmosphere. That being said, the rest of the experience was fine.
I personally enjoyed the scallop and pasta dishes I ordered—both were delicious and well-prepared. However, my colleagues weren’t as lucky. They found their meals underwhelming and the portions were so large that it became more of a chore to finish than an enjoyable meal. So, while my dishes hit the mark, the inconsistency in both service and food quality left some room for improvement.

Superb food and a great atmosphere. This restaurant has a sign outside to say that it is officially approved by the Italian government for the authenticity of the food. The special of the day, steak in a grain mustard sauce, was very fine indeed.

Very nice business lunch here. Menu has lots of variety and some good daily special prices especially for the City . Worth a visit if you want to admire signed football shirts . Food was really good , lost a star because some of the staff just didn't seem happy and I feel for them , maybe a rude customer or a management issue.

Authentic Italian food in London, best fried zucchini I can remember, recommend linguine and clams. Great Italian restaurants always have grappa…this place does.

Having been invited to Sunday Lunch, I was as impressed with the staff as well as with the menu and the location. The 3 course Sunday Lunch option is more than fairly priced for the excellent food you get. All the staff was very friendly and the location is great. Can only highly recommend this restaurant!

Stunning restaurant for a lovely Sunday roast. With 2 courses for £35 or 3 for £40 was definitely value for money. The oysters were sublime, terrine de lapin, delicious. Both the sirloin and lamb roasts were exceptional. Lovely sommelier Sergio , could have spent the afternoon speaking with him.

Excellent food ✨ 3 amazing courses for 40£ per person.
The portion sizes were great, the food was delicious and the service was phenomenal.
They offer free bread and butter. The bread is served hot and the butter compliments it perfectly.
For starters, I got the mackerel with hummus. Perfectly cooked and the souce was well balanced.
For mains I got the lamb shank. It was one of the best prepared pieces of lamb I've had in London, and the portion size was excellent.
For dessert they offered a lot of tasty options. I went for the cheese selection, but the pineapple dessert was also stunning.
10/10 great experience, amazing food. Definitely recommended and for sure will visit again. ✨✨✨

Yesterday, I visited Coq d’ARGENT restaurant, just a short 5-minute walk from St Paul's, Liverpool Street, Cannon Street, and Bank stations. This lovely restaurant has an amazing rooftop garden and bar with spectacular views and serves delicious French food made with fresh ingredients.
We were there for a lunch meeting. I chose the Poussin, which is grilled baby chicken with red wine jus and pommes frites, along with a bottle of Italian rosé wine. For dessert, we had Paris Praline cream profiterole and Fondant au chocolat noir, which is a warm dark chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream.
What I liked even more was how clearly they marked gluten-free dishes with a pink marker to avoid mixing them with other orders. Fabio, the manager, was very attentive, as were the other staff members. I strongly recommend visiting this restaurant and their rooftop bar.

I recommend! 5 stars +. This is the place where I chose to propose my girlfriend. Everything was perfect. I made the reservation for six people. They allowed me to use their terrace, which has a wonderful view. I have visited many restaurants, but I can say that this is one of the top. Their staff is very kind and organized. The receptionist was very nice to us; she made sure that everything went well and that the marriage proposal remained a surprise for my girlfriend. The service was impeccable; we didn't have to wait at all. They have a superb view towards the center of London. I want to thank them again for their warm welcome. 100% I will return to them in the future.

The Golden Fleece is a good city pub. Large ground floor area with another large area downstairs. Decent beers on tap. Visited on a Saturday so quite quiet like most of the actual city on a weekend. Suspect this place gets very busy on week nights. Nice pub. Recommended.

The fellas were busy chatting and were told by the female bar staff to serve customers. The food was OK, but took a while to arrive. Nice pint of ale. Will visit again and report back on the bar guys. Hopefully they'll be replaced by female staff 😀

"Golden Fleece was alive with football fever and excitement during my visit! It felt like an incredibly lively and enjoyable place to be. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a great time.
Despite being incredibly busy, the staff made sure that everyone felt welcomed and well taken care of. They were always on hand to assist with anything we needed.
The food and drinks were absolutely fantastic! I had the pleasure of trying the Beetroot Hummus, Chicken skewers and Seabass paired with House Wine and Guinness, and they were delicious.
Golden Fleece is an excellent spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a memorable time. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
P.S. Make sure to book your seats in advance on football match days :D "

Went for lobster day today so got second lobster main for free. Fave is the lobster roll as usual - can’t go wrong but it is quite pricey normally I would say so the discount was welcomed. Tried lobster croquettes for first time today and was also quite yummy. Staff was lovely.

The restaurant had a great vibe. I walked in on a Friday around 5 PM and it wasn't too busy. The Lobster Roll was amazing, and the Classic Whole Lobster was a great choice. You can get it steamed, grilled, or a mix of both.

Stopped by for lunch on our first day of our London trip as it turned out that most of the restaurants here were closed during the weekend. The food came out quick even by American standards which was much appreciated. The waitress was very patient and attentive and really paid attention when my wife asked to not have garlic and chillies in her food. The lobster salad was very flavorful with the veggies cooked to perfection. The classic whole lobster was grilled tender and paired well with the butter sauce. Would recommend half and half for the croquettes, as you will get a total of four.

Was hungry so went for the larger steak and a starter. Starter was amazing. Steak was average but my partners steak was to die for so hence the four star.
Would recommend if your looking to go there on your companies credit card like most in there. It’s a bankers dream

Came here for lunch with my husband and two small children (2 under 2) and the staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. I tried a wine that I was not keen on and the sommelier went out of her way to bring me two other wines which she thought I would like after asking my taste. Food was lovely as always. Will be returning.

We came here for a midweek lunch and between the two of us, we shared the lakes rib eye and sides of fries, creamed spinach and broccoli. A solid steak but the sides were luke warm, so this aspect could be improved.

Well my review towards Goodman would be a bit emotional, I’ve been visiting the restaurant since 2010 where I was doing my masters in the uk since then, Goodman been an excellent and consistent restaurant which never disappoints. Now am a bit old hitting my 37 years old very soon and still visiting Goodman on a yearly basis but with my wider family, nephews, nieces and my wife and as usual this place will never disappoints.. thank you again for the excellent meals and for the lifetime memories ❤️
