Firstly from the gentleman at the first reception outside. Very warm greeting and immediately asked if we had a reservation. Excellent and classy, looked dapper might we add. Secondly, the young lovely lady at desk in the restaurant. Fabulous greeting and wished us a happy anniversary which was really a sweet touch of class. Very welcoming and friendly. Super service and excellent representation of the brand.
Our main waiter was brilliant and also answered our queries and provided great recommendations. Efficient service all round and we did not wait long to be offered drinks as well as ordering our main courses. The food was excellent. Full of flavour and great portion sizes. Presentation was 10/10.
The Anniversary cake was rounded off a wonderful evening my partner and I truly enjoyed. We are really sorry that we didn't take the names of the staff.
However, it would be rude for me to describe them by appearance. We will return for another special night.
Madison..... magnificent.

Customer service made our whole night. Manager and team were super friendly. We went for my partners birthday and loved it. Portions sizes are good and super filling the view is absolutely beautiful. Very reasonably priced.

Exceptional views, food and customer service. Loved the atmosphere and the vibe. Very lively indeed, without being too overwhelming or chaotic. Special thanks to the receptionist Amanda, who was kind enough to change my dining preferences at the last moment. She was a gem to accommodate some more friends of mine without prior notice at peak hour.

Great setting and atmosphere. Views across the city are beautiful. Gets busy, so do book ahead. Service was excellent great. Tasty food, portions are on the smaller side, so get a side with your mains.

A lovely bar with lots of space and great service. Had one of the best pints of Inches I've ever been poured in London. Amazing food and amazing deals! Definitely the one of the best places to stop for lunch and a beer.

Really good happy hour deals, the place was so busy outside but staff still managed to serve with a smile which was nice to see. DJ was really good too! Would definitely recommend for a fun after works drinks was quite loud inside but was still good.

One of my favourite places in London. 3rd time I’ve been now. Food is lovely and pretty reasonable. Staff are friendly and accommodating the bar lady kenz was very helpful when we were unsure of what cocktails to go for.

I’m gonna start by saying that I’m not such a big reviewer, because is kinda impossible to find nice places in these days, where the staff is giving you the respect that you deserve as a customer, and I’m not saying about the common sense attention, but these guys smashed it!! We’re coming almost daily here after work, and honestly the way the we’ve been treated, we even forgot that we had a busy working day! I don’t know all the staff names but 90% of the time, we’ve been served by a very nice and educated girl, Kenzie, if I remember well! Congrats for the common sense, and the profesional way that you’re offering us all the time! Unfortunately Google allows me just 5 stars, but you’ve got 10 from my heart! Thank you and keep up like this🫶🏻

Decent Chinese chain with all the common dishes from dumplings, noodles, bao etc. Service was excellent, the waitress was witty, attentive and happy to recommend dishes. Highlight was the beef tataki, chicken skewers, charsiu buns and the chilli dip sauce condiment
P M - 5 months ago
I recently dined at Ping Pong and, while the staff were polite, the food experience fell short of what was experienced, I ordered two mains—Char Siu Roast Pork and Sichuan Crispy Aubergine—from the Year of the Snake menu, but they arrived 15 minutes apart when they should have come together. So I ate one dish and had to ask when the second was arriving. The roast had a flavourful sauce but was not a roast at all, seemed steamed and the aubergine, though crispy, didn’t deliver the bold Sichuan flavours that Sichuan dishes usually do. It was edible but not filling which it’s should have been for £20+, so I requested that the discretionary charge be removed from the bill. The atmosphere was nice but I went at a quiet time of day.

Let's just start with the punchline: I highly recommend this place. We were just casually walking around enjoying the after work pub environment that tends to spill out onto the streets. After grabbing a beer, we decided to walk around and see what other pubs and restaurants were in the area. We tend to enjoy the "small plate" meals during our work trips to London because it gives us a chance to enjoy a variety of foods. Ping Pong Bow did not disappoint. We selected several items, and they came out in sequence, allowing us to enjoy a few things at a time with the table not being overrun with dishes. Everything we selected was great, and we were only disappointed because we were full and have to wait to come back to try more items. This place is best enjoyed with a small group, which will just increase the variety of options you can try.
Haven Pope - a year ago
I went with some work colleagues for dinner on a Wednesday night. This is a decent chain restaurant, they give you a form to choose items from the menu (like a lot of Chinese dim sum restaurants do). The service is good, the waiters are kind and patient. The decor is nice and overall a good place to take a small group of people to mix and share food.
I can appreciate if you have no experience in dim sum dining that this would be a great option for you. But for those of us who go for dim sum on a regular basis it's not worth it.
But if I'm honest the food is not great compared to any china town Chinese restaurant that serves dim sum. Most of the steamed dumplings we had were over steamed so the dim sum wrap was falling off the actual filling. If you're looking for amazing dim sum you're better off at any restaurant in china town. You would also get far more variety.
Lily Ly - 2 months ago
Want to have Chinese style lunch at this area, found this dim sum restaurant which nearby the cathedral! But the food not so nice and portion pretty small, dumpling also normal only! Personally will not recommend.

I recently had dinner here with a few colleagues, and while the food was a bit of a mixed experience, the service left much to be desired. Our waitress seemed uninterested and quite grumpy, which put a damper on the overall atmosphere. That being said, the rest of the experience was fine.
I personally enjoyed the scallop and pasta dishes I ordered—both were delicious and well-prepared. However, my colleagues weren’t as lucky. They found their meals underwhelming and the portions were so large that it became more of a chore to finish than an enjoyable meal. So, while my dishes hit the mark, the inconsistency in both service and food quality left some room for improvement.

Second outdoor dining experience since lockdown easing. So grateful to be able to drink a pint of peroni with some friends. The food is delicious and service excellent, especially with one of the managers who was super friendly. Service speed is also pretty good. Location is in the alley so not ideal but works, sadly it was quite cold as not enough heaters to go round. Also, we asked for a beer from two different waiters for a friend, and although the 5th beer ever came we were charged. Nevertheless, the super friendly manager came to the rescue. A three course with a beer, and a bottle of malbec between 4 came to almost £60, definitely not cheap but probably reasonable with the alcohol. (PS sorry for the bad looking second photo, was too hungry and forgot to take the photo first)

Authentic Italian food tucked away in an atmospheric alleyway in the centre of the city. Yesterday at lunch time this osteria served a daily special menu which is incredibly good value. Some of the reviewers who have taken stars off for a large portion should understand that in Italy you would share dishes. However, even so the daily menu was very generous. The linguine alla vongole, tomato veloute and prawn risotto were all delicious. The wine menu is short but good. The tiramisu was very creamy and though enormous, it was difficult not to polish off! Staff were friendly and efficient.

This place is in a very prime location, just in front of the Bank of England and has beautiful views from the garden over the city. The food is there amazing, the wine lost is good and the prices are very reasonable for this kind of establishment. Overall, it is a good place to go for a meal or drinks.

Faultless service, breathtaking views and incredible food at Coq D'Argent. My husband booked this as a surprise for our anniversary and from the moment we took the lift up to the rooftop, everything was perfect! The dining room was beautiful but we chose to sit on the terrace as it was beautiful weather. It was heated and had blankets as well for when it is colder. The crusty mini loaf they brought to start was delicious. I had the signature lamb shank and he had the entrecote, both were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Kayes our waiter was so lovely, friendly and efficient and had us smiling throughout the meal. The drinks terrace is huge with unbelievable views over London's city skyline. Lots of space for drinks and a huge space! Greg the Manager and Lorena were brilliant and run all extremely busy space amazingly for the number of covers!
Extensive wine list (over 700 options!)
Highly recommend but would call ahead and book first to avoid disappointment.
Great for couples, friends and large groups as they have different areas to serve everyone.

Food incredible, really great quality. We went for the Sunday menu and we found the place welcoming and all staff friendly, attentive and well prepared. A lot of vegetarian options. We will be back.

Excellent food, high quality ingredients and great service. The sharing T-bone was the real highlight, perfect amount for two to share.
We also tried the truffled mash, tuna tartare and ravioli to start. The tuna tartare was okay, nothing excellent (7/10) - Ravioli was very good (8.5/10)
A little on the pricy side, we visited as a group of three and with one bottle of wine the bill was around £120 pp (inc service)
Worth trying to get a table in the outdoor area for a sunny day - the restaurant gets busy around 7pm.
Harvey Duncan - 2 months ago
Popped in for a quick lunch with friends. They had a lunchtime special which was very reasonable at £20 for a steak and desert.
The food is beautifully presented and full of flavour. Really top notch. The English beef onglet was really scrumptious. The Crème brûlée was absolutely perfect.
Everyone had an excellent meal and if you’re looking for really excellent French style food I’d highly recommend Coq d’Argent.

Nice pub with friendly staff, quite large inside with lots of seating. They have a license to show sports. Went on the weekend so may have been quieter than it usually is. Good variety of food options and drinks. Reasonably priced for the area.

The Golden Fleece is a fantastic pub in the heart of the City, just a short walk from Mansion House, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by friendly and helpful staff who make sure you have a great experience. It is also dog-friendly and my little pup had a great time saying hello to everyone!
The pub has a cosy yet lively ambiance, making it a great spot for after-work drinks or a relaxed meal. I came for drinks and a spot of food this weekend. The selection of drinks is excellent, with a good range of beers, ales, and spirits to choose from. The food is well-prepared and delicious, offering classic pub fare with generous portions - and most importantly; didn't take too long!
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Golden Fleece and will be back again. Definitely recommend to those in the area!

Lovely impromptu late lunch / early dinner at B&L near St Paul’s Cathedral. Service was excellent and attentive, but there were only a couple of other diners in the restaurant so can’t comment on what it’s like when busy.
The food was really nice actually. It came out quickly, was nicely presented, and tasted lovely.
However, I rated it a 4 for food because I felt very short changed on the lobster. For what they charged and what you get, it’s quite disappointing. Although the shell looks a reasonable size, there was very limited lobster meat, hardly any actually!. I don’t think I would order it again. But the prawns and the burgers were really good.

Visited the Bread Street restaurant on Good Friday for dinner before a show at The O2. I'd never had lobster before but really wanted to try it so I figured this would be the place to come!
It's a lovely little place actually, just a stone's throw away from St Paul's Cathedral but quiet and relaxing.
Really friendly and helpful staff here, especially the manager Gaetano who welcomed us in and I got talking to throughout the duration of my visit. You can tell everyone who works here is passionate about good service and being approachable and knowledgeable.
I went for the lobster croquettes as my starter - I could have quite easily had more, they were delicious! - and I went for the half lobster steamed with fries as my main. Really tasty, subtle but paired beautifully with the lemon and garlic butter sauce that it came with.
I also had the non-alcoholic watermelon iced tea cocktail which was beautiful and very refreshing. All in all good food, great service, would come again and would recommend!

The food was so delicious that we ate it all too quickly: burrata with tomatoes, lobster croquettes for starters. The chicken burger and the lobster and beef burger were so delicious that we licked our fingers. 72£ Plus lemonade.

Visit 1- I recently enjoyed a fantastic late lunch at this branch. The Wagyu burger and fries were delicious! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing hand washing facilities at the end table. Thank you for a great dining experience!
Updated review here..added photos of recent visit, still all good. Would recommend a visit to this branch.

I want to tell my experience eating at this place. The staff named Julio and Gaetano were very friendly when welcoming our arrival. I went there for my Husband's birthday so when I made an online reservation from the website I made a note if I could please write on paper "Happy Birthday Daddy" and when I arrived I was surprised they gave me a card which usually in other restaurants they didn't even fulfill my request. I really appreciate them. They already prepare the table and put the card in the table before we came
I heard them say, before they came to work they stopped by to buy the card. For some people a card is a small thing but for us it is something that really care about customers. I hope all staff in restaurants have good character like you both. I really recommended this restaurant, the food is very nice the lobster very juicy. My Son like the mac and cheese, lobster and the croquette and because the staff is very kind make us want to come back again. Thank you to Gaetano and Julio.

Super steak restaurant. Lots of choice from reasonable steak frites to some mega dry age cuts from US and Ireland. I had the house rib eye, and we shared a load of sides. Everything was excellent and we had great service too. Definitely a top recommendation, everyone on our table was super happy with their food. Thank you!

Amazing meat with great service. Worth every penny.
For vegans - there are very few vegan options - a single one on the main menu, a salad as starter, a few side dishes, and a desert. I have been to dozens of vegan restaurants, it was surprisingly good.

Dined at this restaurant and wanted to share my experience. While I appreciate the establishment's focus on quality, I found the service to be disappointing. When I pointed to a salad on the menu, I was told that I needed to pronounce it correctly to place my order. Additionally, when inquiring about sauce options for my steak, the staff member simply indicated that the information was under the menu, without offering any assistance. Given the premium prices, I expected a more attentive and accommodating level of service. I hope this feedback helps improve the dining experience for future guest. Seriously feel like the discrimination to Chinese while English is not their first language. Not recommended to anyone if English is not proficient enough

Really enjoyable. Staff were very good. Not overbearing and good was served at the correct times.
Was hungry so went for the larger steak and a starter. Starter was amazing. Steak was average but my partners steak was to die for so hence the four star.

Location is a bit off the main road but directly by the river walk which is really enjoyable.
Their steack selection is brilliant and perfectly cooked.
Finally the service is perfectly spot on. Got really disappointed with a local brandy and it was replaced with something immediately.

I recently visited Thai Square Mansion House for dinner and had an excellent experience. The food was of exceptional quality and absolutely delicious. While the prices may seem a bit high, I believe that’s expected given its prime location. What really stood out was the service – Ratchel, who attended to us, was incredibly efficient and provided excellent customer care. Overall, a wonderful dining experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch Thai food in a great location!

Can’t speak highly enough about this place. Location is down a little side street so wasn’t overly busy but beautiful inside with flowers everywhere, price was more than reasonable and because all food is cooked fresh it’s up there with some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had which is high praise concerning it’s a chain restaurant and all the staff were super friendly and very accommodating.

Had dinner here last week after work. Place was busy.
Our first time here and absolutely loved it!
Bon, the manager and his team were wonderful & welcoming.
We had a mix platter, to which he recommend as this gave us a selection.
For our mains we opted for the Stir Fried Basil Chicken and Pad Se Eiw. Both were flavourful and generous is portion size.
We will definitely be back!

We ordered the Drunken Noodles and they were very tasty and nicely spicy. However the noodles were broken into small pieces (difficult to pick up with chopsticks) and the beef was tough.
The green curry was delicious and deserved its 2 chili rating. It was pricey, but atmosphere was nice. $82.60 US for those meals, including two drinks.
