5 Star Rating A fantastic evening spent here enjoying fabulous authentic Italian food and drink. The service was incredible, the waiting staff were attentive and friendly. The dishes were served with a description from the waiters showing that they had knowledge but also pride of what they were presenting. The atmosphere was intimate, it was also great to see Georgia Locatelli himself eating with friends.

3 Star Rating I started with a delicious blood negroni , followed by a simple spring salad. The ingredients through meal shone in freshness and quality but some courses were a disappointment. Too many of the same ingredients throughout the menu made it difficult to choose varying courses. My partner and I both thought the pasta was fantastic but the meat course was indifferent. The service was very attentive.

5 Star Rating Everything was on top of the expectations. From the first step into the restaurant we have been treated as the most important people they had so far, and I truly believe that is a normal practice for them. All the servers where friendly and professional. I appreciate the knowledge they have about all the ingredients they use in their dishes. Food was amazing. We had a very good dinner. Unlikely we didn't met Chef Locatelli, hopefully next time. Very recommended, we'll come back for sure.

3 Star Rating Food is very good, popular and not common classic Italian with very little twist to modern and creative but basically classic Italian. It is for sure an interesting menu if you are not used to Italian food. I was expecting more creative cuisine both from chef Locatelli and from a Michelin star restaurant. The location is beautiful, a little noisy, probably because the restaurant has a pretty high number of seating so it is hard to keep the noise low when it is full. The wine list is very good and there is a good amount of excellent but affordable options. Service was impeccable! Glad that I was there, not sure if it is worth a second visit.

5 Star Rating Dinner at Locanda Locatelli was an incredible experience. Starting off with the nice welcoming staff they took us to the table which was perfect. Not the classic London squeeze but a wonderful, intimate space for me and my girlfriend. They brought us a bread and grissini basket with an exquisite olive oil. As a starter we ordered the burrata and winter salad, followed by a main of risotto al barolo e castelmagno and the famous pizzoccheri. Portions were generous (as you would expect in a real Italian restaurant). Staff were friendly and took the time to explain to us the dishes and the wine. We closed dinner with two fantastic desserts a strudel and a degustazione al cioccolato. All the dishes were delicious and cooked with first quality ingredients. At the end of dinner we had the opportunity to meet chef Giorgio Locatelli. I want to say again a big thank you to him and all the staff for the truly special dining experience my partner and I had at Locanda Locatelli. We will definitely come back.

2 Star Rating I would give the staff 5 stars they are fast, friendly and around all the time. The decorations and the smell of the restaurant really good. They offer welcome lemon juice was fine as well. However, the prawns were dry nothing special about it. Mushrooms were stuffed with little cheese and for somehow watery. I don’t know how to describe it but when you bite the mushroom it is mostly water. The bread under both dishes were burnt. The pasta in one word tasteless, I asked for salt just to taste something. Really wish if they can improve the ingredients or change chefs. Pros Friendly staff Lovey decorations, smell good Upstairs tables Cons Food below average Space between tables really short

5 Star Rating We had the bottomless brunch. Paid £10 extra for the steak and I must say I've never had better. The steaks we're cooked to perfection (mine medium and my wife's well done). Tasty charred beautifully on the outside. Chips are skin on, crispy and well seasoned. Little jug of gravy was lovely. For dessert I had the brownie which was delicious, rich but not overly sweet. My wife had the cheesecake and was very happy with it. From entering until leaving, we we're very well looked after by Melissa who kept our wine glasses topped up without ever being asked. All in all a wonderful dining experience that we shall definitely be repeating.

3 Star Rating The food was stunning - had a 12 Oz steak and it was very tasty. The entertainment - the mowtown memoirs were excellent. The 3 star review however is because the service was terrible - I visited on a Sunday evening and it wasn't incredibly busy however the service was shockingly slow, the waiter was rude and to the point, never came to check up on the food and took over 30 minutes to get the bill at the end. I would like to come back for the food and I hope this was a one off!

4 Star Rating Roti Chai in London delivered a fantastic dining experience! We started with the crispy and flavorful Chicken Sixty Five, Palak Papri Chaat, and the Gilafi Seekh Kebab which were decent. Loved their Butter Chicken which was creamy with just the right amount of spice. The Koliwada Fish Curry was the standout, and the Old Delhi Chicken Biryani was aromatic and packed with tender chicken. We finished with a deliciously creamy Mango Kulfi. The ambiance was vibrant and the service attentive.

3 Star Rating The good thing about this place is how consistent they are,,,in being average. Zayna is one of the most average restaurants I have ever been to in London. I mean there was nothing good or bad to talk about this place. We went to Zayna on a weekend night and the place was almost full. Good thing we booked ahead. One thing that struck out was there was no customer with an Indian or Pakistani background. This to me is a sign that the food wasn't authentic enough. Nonetheless our hope that this place would be a good British Indian/Pakistani restaurant was dashed when they brought out the food. The chaat was fine but it was only drenched in yoghurt sauce and lacked the tamarind sauce and mint sauce which are also expected to be drizzled on top. The salmon tandoori starter was just okay. The salmon though felt fresh didn't have the flavour one expects from a good tandoori. The portion was also really small. The mains were relatively better but not by a lot. We ordered the chickpea curry, prawns masala, naan and mushroom rice. Chickpea curry was like, surprise average and I can definitely make a better Chickpea curry than what this was. Mushroom pulao rice was okay. Prawn masala was the only thing that tasted right but was loaded with oil that kind of kills the mood. At the end the experience is not worth it for me. The value for the money spent was not good so I can't recommend this place. Maybe non-Indians might like this place but to be honest there are many better British Indian restaurants in London that can satisfy both Indian and non-Indian customers really well. I will say skip this one.

3 Star Rating Even though we had a nice meal I don't think anything we had was extraordinary or delicious. We had to wait between 25 to 30 minutes in between dishes. Even though our lovely waitress acknowledged there were delays she could not explain what was going on in the kitchen. As I mentioned the dishes were nice but to most of them we had to add salt as they were quite bland. The best dish for me was the octopus. Cooked to perfection (but bland). The tortilla was also very good. Lovely with runny egg in the centre. Both the pluma and the lamb chops arrived lukewarm at the table (we had waited for 25 minutes for those dishes). I assume they were left on the pass for a while before someone realised they had to be sent to our table. We sent back both dishes and after about 15 minutes we got new dishes. All in all it was not a great experience so I don't think I will be going back.

2 Star Rating I came here to eat with friends for a birthday dinner. We came as a group of five. We ordered about six starters and five main courses with a few side orders. The starters were ok. The octopus croquettes was lovely and everybody enjoyed them . The jambon croquettes were nice. The manchego coquettes were ok. All three had a similar texture and taste. I could barely tell the difference between the three. The pan con tomato was standard. The sardines were lovely and had a great taste and texture. The anchovies were good but minimal on the plate.. We had an issue with the service of the drinks. It took anything from between 10-20 mins to get a drink. We had to remind the staff about our drinks on more than one occasion. The food came out when ready which was ok for the starters but not for the mains. A disjointed service I felt. The prawn risotto was on point. The pork and romesco sauce tasted lovely, portion was a tad small. The pork chimichurri was good, not enough sauce though. The cod risotto was too salty and the octopus was average, slightly too charred for my liking. The courgette flower had way too much honey. The potato bravas were average. Overall a cosy place with nice staff, but my experience wasn’t perfect. I would still recommend to others. Drinks are pricey, so I would recommend not to order any if you want to cut down the cost.

4 Star Rating The food is delicious, there’s no doubt about it! The ambiance is nice, loud and cosy - just as you’d find in the streets of San Sebastián. The prawn rice was probably the best dish of the night, along with the croquetas! The Iberico pork was perfectly cooked, just thought that for the price, we were expecting a few more pieces. I do think it’s very authentic Spanish food, and the cheesecake is delicious - but it is slightly overpriced for the portion you get.
