5 Star Rating OMG!!! I've had traditional fish & chips here before, which were excellent, but on this occasion wanted to try some of their other offerings. WOW! WOW! WOW! Was recommended to try the cod wings (which I didn't even know existed) and oh my gosh, they were incredible. Almost like an amazing plump juicy chicken wing, but the fish alternative. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Also decided to order my fish grilled and asked Chef to make it spicy. Cannot recommend enough, even if you're passing through and want a quick snack, the Cod wings, could have a restaurant all to themselves. MUST TRY!!!

4 Star Rating Very good fish & chips restaurant in the heart of London. We had their goujons, chips & scampi - their were all very good. Their tartar and spicy mayo were good as well. Staff could be a little bit friendlier, but according to them, they were a bit understaffed.

5 Star Rating Lunch today at The Seashell of Lisson Grove was excellent!! The food was delicious, loved the bottomless chips! Truly a classic and quality fish & chips experience! Mushy peas and tartare sauce were good too. You can see from the photos here what some of the food looked like. Even the background music was great and the waiter was lovely too - thank you! Will definitely be back!

4 Star Rating Staff was an absolute sweetheart, made sure we were well taken care of, and attended to every need (despite being understaffed). The food itself was pretty good, i mean how can u go wrong with greek salad right, mmm fresh, the shrimp dish was so succulent and juicy with just enough fishy taste to appreciate the shrimps but not too much to scare u off. And the fish itself was fried beautifully, light crispy batter (maybe too light for my own preference) with slightly soggy chips but overall great meal. However the price point was pretty steep with like £25~ per haddock, felt like it took abit of my soul.

3 Star Rating We were told by an elderly gentleman from the neighborhood to try this place after he told us to hold onto our phones and be careful. Obviously, we looked too touristy as we were using Google maps trying to find our way home. We first went into the Cafe, and then the restaurant. Saw the prices in the restaurant and said nope. Went back to the Cafe. Shared the fish chips and it was good. Was it superb? Not really. The chips were not superb. They needed to be crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. They didn't snap either! Gordon Ramsey would not be impressed. They charged for the tartar sauce which was ok, but if I'm forking out a pound, it better be out of this world. Overall, it was alright.

4 Star Rating Delicious and inventive Japanese food. The truffle miso aubergine was so good, we ordered seconds! Everything we had was fantastic. We were there celebrating with friends and brought a bottle of champagne. Unfortunately the server didn’t seem very experienced in serving champagne and quite a bit was wasted due to bubbling over and spilling. The service was otherwise good and friendly. The desserts were a bit of a let-down. I love truffles as much as the next person but don’t think they need to be in everything!

2 Star Rating I'm here to share my recent experience at Dinings, and, truth be told, it was a bit of a letdown. Even though the food was fantastic, the overall treatment and service were far from satisfactory. So, we had a reservation for 9:15. Things took a nosedive when the last order was called just 30 minutes in, before we even got all our food. Then, to top it off, the bill was handed to us without asking, and we felt like we were on a time crunch, hustled out the door by 10:45. For a substantial payment of £300 for two people, the rushed service was undeniably unacceptable. We had anticipated a significantly higher level of service at this price point. The food might have been a highlight, jet the overall experience fell short of our expectations. I'm sharing this review in the hopes that Dinings takes it as constructive feedback and works on improving the overall dining experience for future guests.

5 Star Rating Delicious, elegant and set in an intimate setting. Fantastic service too. This tops any other Japanese restaurant in London that I have been to. The ingredients are fresh, and the mix of flavours particularly in the sauces pairs very well with the actual ingredients. The highlight for me was the unagi sushi with truffle & sweet soy, although it was also delicious without the truffle & sweet soy (we had to order more). For the quality of food, the price isn’t too unreasonable. It’s definitely perfect for a special occasion!! Highly recommend trying it out!

5 Star Rating One of my absolute favourites of all time. The quality of the fish is second to none. Toro shimofuri, wagyu foie gras are my goto’s to name a few. Personally, I very much so prefer this site to the Chelsea one as the feel is more cosy and homely. That kind of reflects in the menu differences, which I find more to my liking. Service is as good as you’d get in London so no complaint here. One small tip is that visiting weekdays does have its perk as menu items are abundant, whereas things can run out over the weekend especially when I visited later into the evening.

5 Star Rating A last minute lunch with friends. Phoenix was recommended by one of the group. A modest street entrance opens into a large dining room that is decorated in a traditional style. The staff were all welcoming, warm, friendly and accommodating. Could not be faulted. We ordered a mix of dim sum and main dishes that we shared. Everything was great although the Peking Duck was a bit dry. From reviews and friend recommendations I believe this was just a one-off and I will definitely return and try the Peking Duck again. Pricing was ok as we ordered far too much, had a beer each and it was around £55 each including service. Definitely worth a visit.

5 Star Rating One of the Soho Houses near Baker Street serving excellent Chinese cuisine. Weekends are packed with people so do pre-book. Toilets were clean and service pretty good despite the busy lunch hour. The dishes can be quite spicy with generous addition of dry red cillies. So if you cannot tolerate that, ask them to recommend mild dishes. On our last visit coffee machine was broken but, they had the full list of coffee on this occasion.

2 Star Rating I really felt the quality of the food is below the others I’ve have been to. The food wasn’t cooked particularly well, such as the spring rolls were not well coloured and soaked with oil, turnip cake lacked texture, most for he dished came out lukewarm, the dumplings texture was quite rubbery. I really got the feeling of Chinese take away quality rather than restaurant.

5 Star Rating I recently visited the Winter Garden in London and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. This hidden gem offers a delightful dining experience that starts the moment you step through the elegant exterior and are welcomed into a beautiful setting with lush greenery and ambient lighting. I opted for the reasonably priced three-course set menu, and it did not disappoint. The asparagus starter was fresh, vibrant, and bursting with flavour. For the main course, I had the trout, which was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The meal ended on a high note with a beautifully plated rhubarb tart, perfectly balancing sweet and tart flavors. The staff were friendly and professional. The stunning interior, with its lush greenery and elegant decor, made it the perfect spot for a special meal. Overall, the Winter Garden is a must-visit. Great food, excellent service, and a good atmosphere. Highly recommended!

4 Star Rating We had our wedding reception here for 45 people, including 5 children. From the time of booking the event, 6 months earlier up to the day, there were 3 changes of management. This meant that communication was difficult and led to some uncertainty. Our wedding coordinator actually left the company, but we were not informed, which panicked us as we could not get hold of anyone as the event date approached. Eventually, Yana came through and took control of the situation. Apart from some minor adjustments to the table layout, everything was in place, in time, and the event went off without a hitch. The staff were attentive and welcoming, but they could have maybe done with one extra pair of hands as the service was just slightly slow at times. Everyone commented on how lovely the food was, especially the stake, and the chef went out of his way to accommodate any special dietary requirements. The venue looked lovely with the flowers and candles. It's just the right size for that number of people and the staff cleared the tables after dinner so that we could all have a boogie. In all, the event was a great success, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I would definitely recommend it as a venue for any celebration and it was very good value for the money
