We attended Young Voices at The O2 and it was genuinely one of the most uplifting and well-run events I have experienced.
From start to finish, the organisation was excellent. The scale of the production was breathtaking, the sound and visuals were spot on, and seeing thousands of children perform together with such confidence and joy was incredibly moving. The atmosphere inside the arena was electric and emotional in the best possible way. It felt safe, inclusive, inspiring, and very professionally managed. A huge credit to the Young Voices team and everyone involved in making this happen.
That said, there is one area that really needs attention, especially for an event aimed at families and schools.
The cost of food and drinks inside the venue is extremely high. £11 for popcorn, £18 for a slice of pizza, and eye-watering prices for drinks make it very difficult for families, particularly those attending with children, to manage the evening without feeling financially stretched. When you have thousands of parents and young people attending, affordability matters. This level of pricing takes away from an otherwise brilliant experience.
Young Voices is about inclusion, community, and giving children a moment they will remember forever. Making food and drink more reasonably priced would go a long way in ensuring families can fully enjoy the night without stress.
Overall, an unforgettable evening, inspiring, joyful, and beautifully executed. With more family-friendly pricing, it would be close to perfect.

Time for a critical honest review of the actual music venue..
The venue is large, and if anything too large. You cannot get a good atmosphere, as there is too much open space. Of course can come down to personal preference, but it's not the greatest venue. I've been to lots of gigs to see live music and can honestly say this is the worst venue that I've been too.
I was sitting in entrance B, block 420 and seat 924. The view is okay, very far away and if you don't like heights, you'll sure to be put off or struggle with standing up.
I've been in different positions, including standing at the front and if you do want some kind of atmosphere then you need to be on the ground floor 100%. If you're at the top or 2nd level, the atmosphere won't be the best unless you're with a group of people that will make it more enjoyable.
This concert that I went to was Boyz ii men, Toni Braxton, Joe and Dru Hill. The performance from the artists was brilliant.
One huge downside about the 02, is the travel system. People will leave around 30-45 minutes before the show finishes to get the tube in time, and at the end when the biggest act is on, the place is less than half empty and it kind of ruins the gig because so many people are leaving and walking around it takes your attention away from the performance.
As a comparison, I went to the OVO Arena at Wembley, for the same gig the day before and it is so much better and more intimate.
If you do go here for live music, make sure you're on the ground floor.

The Young Voices concert at The O2 was truly magical — an unforgettable celebration of music, energy and community. Thousands of children singing in harmony created an electric atmosphere that was inspiring and joyful from start to finish. The production, lights, and guest performances added to the excitement, and being part of such a huge choir was honestly one of the most memorable experiences of the year. Highly recommend attending if you get the chance!

I’ve been to the The O2 Arena a few times now and I have to say, this visit was actually really good.
Getting in was smooth, security was organised, and everything felt well managed from start to finish. The layout makes it easy to find your way around, and once you’re inside, the atmosphere really builds. The sound quality on the night was solid too, which makes such a difference at a venue that size.
Staff were helpful and things moved quickly, even with a big crowd.
Now… the drinks prices. Let’s just say they are almost criminal. You brace yourself, you tap your card, and you try not to think about it too much. Standard arena experience, unfortunately.
That said, overall it was a great night and the venue delivered. When the music starts and the crowd kicks in, it does exactly what it’s meant to do.
Would definitely go back – I’ll just emotionally prepare my wallet next time.

First time at the 02 and it was very impressive.
A huge choice of restaurants and great range of shops.
We tried the I- fly and watched the Strictly come dancing tour.
Expect big car parking charges unless you spend in the shops.

My brother took us to lunch there in January.
Brazilian Grill restaurant, lots of meat, a few selection of salads and limited hot spicy meals. I say limited because I understand the offerings used to be bigger.

I had a great experience eating wonderful barbecued meats that are brought to your table piping hot and sliced onto your plate. The salad bar is comprehensive with excellent choice and some hot entrees too. The staff were all impeccable

Food. All sorts of food from cusines all over the world. I had the following.
Starters.
1st. Mussels in claws and souse (French) and baked pasta (Italian).
2nd. Fish 🐟 in souse and something similar to gnocchi (Indian).
Mains.
1st. Beef steak with salads.
2nd. A slice of turkey with Brussels sprouts and carrots 🥕 (English).
Deserts 🏜. All sorts of cakes are cut in small pieces.
Rose vine with desserts.
I'm used to eating in buffet restaurants in other countries. I had some better food elsewhere.
Service. All the members of staff were doing a great job.
The star of my dinner was the waitress Sweta from Nepal. She was welcoming and kindly explained the house rules. Sweta provided very professional and efficient service. We had a little friendly chat.
Atmosphere. A lot of people were passing by my table. There was a queue for the beef steak. Also, along the dessert tables, the queue took too long because the customers at the end were dealing with an ice cream freezer / dispenser and a chocolate fountain. I didn't take the ice cream, but I had to wait to get some desserts.

Overall, it’s a decent place with a nice variety of Indian, Italian, and Chinese dishes. Some of the food is just average, but my favourite is definitely the beef steak, it’s flavorful and well-cooked. They also serve noodles, though those could be improved as they lack authentic taste. The dessert section is quite limited, with only a few options available. Still, it’s a good spot if you want to try different cuisines in one place and enjoy a satisfying meal overall.

We had a great experience at Las Iguanas at the O2 thanks to Paul — the manager with the pink beard! Had to send back corn on the cob as not warm enough but they sorted it super quick. Otherwise great. Lovely cocktails, delicious food. Kids meal was great value and the churros were really tasty. Will definitely head there next time we’re at the O2.

It was very chill today due to it being event day but one thing about our host: Tyrone?! He ELEVATED the dinner experience!
We laughed so much, he was extremely attentive to our requests from the very moment we stepped in. From a cocktail suggestions to his love for chilli 🤣
It was a fantastic way to begin our weekend with a great team that followed suit in accommodating our needs!
Those wings are next level btw🤯
WE WILL BE BACK💗

Also, a big thank you to the manager, who was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. It's rare to come across such genuine hospitality these days – it really elevated the entire experience.
Highly recommend this place – we’ll definitely be back! #dishtapproved

We used to eat at Frankie and Bennys years ago and went today after a long time, but sadly the quality of the food has gone down drastically. The sirloin steak was so-so, the meat in the burgers was bad quality, in fact seemed to be frozen patties, the gluten free burger-while great to have this option- sadly tasted very bland. The pizza wasn't taking our breath away either. Everything too overpriced for what it was. We paid over £100 for the food and fizzy drinks. Sadly won't be coming here again...

This place gets really busy in the evenings, especially when there’s a show at the O2, but the team keeps things moving—our dishes arrived surprisingly fast! The service is warm and upbeat, the décor is absolutely stunning, and the food delivers that classic Nando’s goodness we all love. A great spot for a pre-show meal!

Great visit to Nando’s! The service was really good and the restaurant wasn’t too crowded, which made the experience even better.
I tried the vegan option - went for the spicy rice bowl, and it was really tasty. Everything came out quickly, and the prices are still affordable, which is always a plus.
Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Its such a shame that on a quiet day this was not done right.
Customer service was rude and brash at the till, chicken was on the grill before I was even halfway through my order so I couldnt ask for livers which would have delayed chicken and made it dry.Menu knowledge was poor. No one checked in on us.Had to send food back as it was cooked to what we ordered. Also take away sauces out of date… something that has been an oversight for nearly two weeks .. Just basics. most disappointing nandos I have been too considering there was only around 10 tables , Dont want to imagine what its like when theres a concert on 😭

We visited Gaucho at the O2 as a family of four, with two young children on new year's eve and had a fantastic time. Our waiter was fantastic and kept the children entertained with colouring sheets and crayons throughout the meal.
We really enjoyed the food, especially the starters: the salmon was fresh and delicious, and the scallops were perfectly seared and the cheesecake.
Service was prompt even on a busy evening, and the riverside location is great for a stroll after eating. Prices reflect a premium steakhouse, but the experience makes it worthwhile for a family outing.
Robin Ray - 2 months ago
The ribeye steak was good but other dishes were mediocre. The cheese cake was boring.( tasted like something out of the fridge)
The chips were very small portions for £6.
Basically, all in all I found it very expensive for what it was.
Lastly, why do we have to pay for the self checkout on the table fee? Extra £1 or so.
It helps the restaurant staff operation but customers pays for it.
Ridiculous !

We had the fillet with latin mac&cheese and the spicy crust fillet with chips and it was delicious. The meat was super tender and they cooked them exactly how we liked them. For dessert we had the dulce de leche pancakes which were good but there was barely any dulce de leche. The service was really good, fast and efficient… the server recommended us some cocktails after telling her what we like and she was spot on.
Claudia Cattivelli - 2 weeks ago
From the very beginning, the service was outstanding. The waiters, Marco and Ashwin, were attentive and took the time to explain every detail about the cuts of meat we ordered. The starters were on another level — simply exceptional.
The steak was juicy and cooked perfectly to the medium-rare we requested. The desserts were the perfect ending, especially the dulce de leche cheesecake, which was phenomenal.
I would also like to thank the manager, Reda, who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our visit.
Highly recommended — 10/10.

Not been to a ZiZi’s in a while and was very pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the food and service by he staff at O2 branch. The restaurant was very busy just before show time, but food and drinks arrived promptly, starter, main and desert. I have to mention the extraordinary chocolate mouse option. It was sensational! Served with sea salt and Olive Oil (on the side) to be added to taste. I highly recommend this. Thank you to our server Alexandria 😀

I went recently to Zizi at O2 for a quiet bday celebration. Had a delicious sea bass with veggies. Service was quick and attentive. What really stood out was the waitress (Simona) politely asking if we were happy to include the service charge. Something you don't usually hear in Uk and it was a pleasant surprise. Thank you Zizi. Service was direct with no interaction at all; yes, the service charge was removed at my “discretion”.
Food was just about acceptable with a 50% off offer. I would have had a very different conversation if the full quoted price was charge.
Starter chicken was dry and overcooked.
Main pork dish was barely luke warm with minimal pork.
Birthday cheesecake was frozen in the middle.
Nobody asked once how our food was. Enough said really.
Nah, I would not return. Sorry. Not sorry.

Great private lounge in the O2 arena. Several other reviewers seem very keen to complain about this site, but in reality it is quite good - you have access to private bars, clean facilities, comfortable seating, and direct access to the arena without the huge queues! Great drinks menu and decent bar food which costs what one would expect in a massive arena. Definitely recommended, *much* better than queuing up with the rest of the folks outside!

Great place to go before a show. Drinks and food are a little expensive but it's the 02 and it's London so shouldn't be surprised. A little disappointed that you can't see out in to the arena as there are curtains there but still better than waiting outside.

Fab bar. Cool drinks & atmosphere. Has a few things going on for concert goers like VR or glitter face decorations. Mocktails & food too. Slightly cheaper than the O2 itself.
Yas - 7 years ago
It could be a lovely relaxed area and has lots of potential. However more bar staff are needed. If you're buying a drink I would buy more than one at a time (but they are expensive £13 for a double spirit and £10 for a cocktail) otherwise you will have a very long wait to be served again. More seating would be nice. We ate in one of the restaurants around the arena. Glad we did as there were ques for food in the backstage area and nowhere to sit and enjoy it. Been there and done it now. Probably wouldn't do it again.
nichola youngman - 3 years ago
Not bad... There were a few things to do, drinks were expensive and we couldn't see into the arena the entire time because of the huge black curtain. That being said, the actual place was really nice to chill at until the concert was ready. You certainly get to beat the rush, it's a unique opportunity and I recommend you at least try it!
