Visited for my girlfriend's birthday. The booking system is great (allowing you to pre-order drinks and upload a photo), though the restaurant was too busy for the personalised welcome to work this time.
The food was fantastic. My steak was a perfect medium-rare. My girlfriend's steak arrived closer to medium-well despite ordering medium-rare, but we didn't send it back as it was still tasty and we didn't want to disrupt the evening. When we mentioned it later, the staff were excellent—they offered a replacement, and when we declined, they gave us a free dessert.
Special mention to our waitress who was outstanding, and the cocktails were well worth the price. Will definitely return.

Excellent Sunday lunch.
Firstly we was a big table as requested as we had a baby in a buggy with us.
Very comfortable dining.
bread was warm and fresh.
The roast sirloin of beef was cooked to as we request and very tasty and tender.
Trimmings were also very good, my only comment would be the potatoes were just Average! No real seasoning or herbs.
Very nice Espresso martinis and a delicious Eton mess made specially for my partner's birthday for free plus reasonable priced wine and a good pilsner lager.
Staff was amazing! Professional, attentive and polite which made it a perfect afternoon.
Will definitely revisit.

Amazing service and food was outstanding. Only let down was the tiramisu, it was sloppy. Chips were fine but probably wouldn’t get them again. They prepped the mac and cheese without truffle on request which was hugely appreciated

We came to celebrate our anniversary and we had a lovely time, had the pleasure of having Alex as our server, he was friendly and he made our experience perfect. Special mention to the other staff and the lovely ladies everyone was very friendly and approachable. We really appreciated everything.
Food wise we are never disappointed, mac and cheese was on point, steak was perfect and the desserts were 🤤🤤🤤 def recommend their cheesecake, tiramisu and mango sorbet.
Thank you team , Nagyon szepen koszonyuk 😉

We celebrated our wedding reception on Tuesday with private dining at Goodman in Mayfair for 20 of our friends and family, and it was truly exceptional.
From decorating the space so beautifully with the flowers we provided, to printing personalised menus, to wine recommendations, to the care and attention they gave our friends’ 5-year-old, the team truly went above and beyond.
The food was outstanding! Every dish perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Not to mention the service we received, from first enquiring to the night itself, was impeccable.
The entire team made our special day feel effortless and unforgettable and there is a reason why this is our favourite restaurant!
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable dining experience. My husband and I could not recommend Goodman in Mayfair more and look forward to returning soon.

Absolutely stunning department store that has been here for a long time and exudes history, charm, and warmth. Their retail offerings are top notch and merchandising is nicely done. The staff is very warm and friendly and willing to help with the smallest request. Do yourself a favor and spend an hour or so at this classic British retailer.

Quintessential British charm & class - this department store is a MUST when visiting London.
Shopping was not my focus but I happened to stumble upon one of my favourite perfumes - Perfumer H. The guy serving me was so knowledgable & lovely to deal with. I bought the Icons Collection No.2 : Steam, Moss, Dandelion, Ink & Rain Wood - a set of 8ml eaux de parfum.
We also had a light lunch here at the 75 Restaurant. Excellent menu options & attentive staff. We ordered: Devonshire Crab Toast - picked crab, chervil, pickled cucumber, & almonds; as well as Traditional Buttermilk Scones - strawberry jam & clotted cream. Both were excellent.

Finally went to Liberty London, and what an amazing store it is. Once you enter the department store, executed in Tudor Revival architecture, you cross the threshold to another world --- one filled with rich sumptuous colours, eclectic interiors of dark oak and teak timbers, 100yo floors recycled from the 19thC Royal Navy ship HMS Impregnable, and flamboyant and theatrical display of goods!
I spent my first visit just walking slowly (and probably blocking shoppers), admiring everything from the way the Christmas ship centrepiece hung from the ceiling, to the way textiles are draped on mannequins, the tableware display, etc.
I'll have to come back another day to actually buy something!

Really nice shopping day at Liberty. Their Christmas 🎄 decorations are always wonderful. The ship in the centre of the main hall is just fantastic. Bought perfume from the ground floor, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. You could easily spend hours looking at all the Christmas decorations on the top floor. We will be back again soon for more inspirations.

Aqua Kyoto was a great experience overall. We went for the bottomless brunch menu in the evening and the bread and butter options were really good to start with. The starters were also very generous in portion, which paired perfectly whether you’re having mocktails or cocktails.
For the main, I went for the salmon which was beautifully done and served with chickpeas — a really nice, well-balanced dish. For dessert we had churros with chocolate and jam, which were absolutely amazing.
They also offer a variety of mocktail options for those who don’t drink alcohol, which for me was a great option.
Overall, the experience was really lovely with a great atmosphere, and I would definitely come back again.

We went for the set brunch menu with unlimited cocktails and had a really lovely time. The food was very good, and the artichoke dish was the star of the table — everyone loved it.
The cocktails were flowing and nicely balanced, which made the brunch feel relaxed and indulgent. I didn’t expect it, but by around 9 pm the vibe became very busy and a bit cheeky, which actually made the evening even more fun.
The atmosphere was vibrant throughout, and the DJ towards the end was a great touch that finished the day perfectly. A great place in London for a fun brunch with friends

An incredible place with a stunning atmosphere! We visited Aqua Nueva and were absolutely delighted with every dish. The tapas here are a true work of art—the Padrón peppers and the presentation of the main courses were especially impressive. The interior is very stylish, and the dim lighting creates the perfect mood for dinner. The service was top-notch. We will definitely be back!

My friend and I had the most wonderful girls’ night dinner at Aquanueva. From the moment we arrived, we felt so warmly welcomed. The waiters took great care of us and brought such lovely, positive energy to the evening.
The food was delicious I especially loved the tapas and I’ll definitely be coming back to try the paella ☺️
The vibe and music were absolutely on point, creating the perfect atmosphere for a Friday night.
It was such a fantastic evening. Highly recommend!

First time in London and I knew we had to have a meat pie. This place is renowned for their pies and they held up to their reputation. I got the chicken, bacon and leek pie with mash. It was delicious! Very rich and filling, so come on an empty stomach.
The atmosphere is classic and elegant. I love how English pubs look! It’s a very popular place to grab a pint as well. Everyone seemed to be having a great time.
The staff were warm and welcoming. Our server Patrick was friendly, funny and hospitable. He made sure our experience was excellent! I highly recommend coming here to anyone wanting a delicious British meal.

We look all over London for a traditional pub that offered pies. We found the Windmill Mayfair over google. When we arrived every table was reserved but barkeeper made it possible for us to get a table so we could try the pies. The pies where so good we reserved a table for another dinner in the Windmill Mayfair. And again the pies where delicious. We told the staff when we return to London we will definitely reserve a table again!!! Super service, great atmosphere and a great pub.

Magnificent experience at The Windmill. The place is very charming, with great music and excellent quality food! I had a delicious pie served with excellent potatoes and a sensational sticky toffee pudding. Even if you feel full, I highly recommend trying the dessert because it’s exceptional. We were served by Patrikas, whose kindness and warm hospitality made my experience even more unforgettable. Highly recommended!

what a treat! i went with my husband and sister and we all loved it. charming, cozy, and warm. several floors of seating and a roof top terrace. we shared the pumpkin soup. i don’t usually like pumpkin but this was the soup was amazing! i will be trying to recreate it when i get back to the states. we each got a steak pie, i had steak and stilton, they had steak and mushroom. all were great. for dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel ice cream. again, amazing! special shout out to our server, Karol, who went above and beyond to make our visit so great and his beer suggestions were top notch. would absolutely visit again

Had a really lovely time eating pies at the windmill. Where so many restaurants in central London are just disappointing where they rush to get rid of you it was such a great experience. Also the Rioja was delicious and they had my favourite Deya beer on tap. Big shout out to the waiter the tall guy at the back ground floor, really great service and lovely! 😻 thank you

I booked for Iftar and had a lovely experience. The menu had an enough options to choose from. The lentil soup was especially delicious and full of flavour. It also came with fattoush, hummus with fresh toasted bread, and sambousek a perfect start to the meal. For the main course, I had the mixed grill, which was absolutely delicious and very satisfying. The portions were generous and left me feeling comfortably full. For dessert, I highly recommend the rose mahalabia – it was heavenly and the perfect sweet ending to a beautiful Iftar. Would definitely come back again next year Ramadan! At Winsley Street

Alright hear me now, I went to Yalla Yalla just of Oxford street for my friends birthday meal it’s a Lebanese restaurant with lovely service a quite a wide range of food on the menu. Our server Houssam was very friendly and quite helpful. I got a large mixed grill and a strawberry lemonade.
The large Mixed grill
It came with a small portion of rice with an equal amount of salad, it also lamb kofta and chicken taouk and chicken wings. The salad was fresh but nothing really to rave about the chicken taouk was okay a bit seasoned but also a bit chewy not my favourite. The wings were more seasoned and because it was “large” I got two more than I would have but the wings them selves were quite small so they were short lived. The lamb kofta was probably my favourite thing on the plate in terms of meat it was seasoned well, well cooked and it worked best with the rice salad and other sauces. It also came with their own garlic and chilli sauce. My main problem with this was the portion size as I paid an extra £5 for a large mixed grill and it looked like it was a normal serving so that was pretty disappointing and not worth the money at all.
The strawberry lemonade though with sweet and sharp and just brilliant, it was so nice I got it twice. 10/10
Overall I’ll give it a 6.7/10 because I feel like I was scammed by the large mixed grill. I could come here again but I would get something else.

This was a quick dinner with my friend before a show that was starting in an hour or less. The food was delicious, the waiter that served us was incredibly nice, friendly, fast and efficient. It is rare to have this type of fantastic service. We mentioned that we did not have a lot of time and he couldn’t have been more kind and helpful. We had the Meze platter for 2 people and the Halloumi steak, plus the delicious Lebanese white wine. The food was delicious as well. We had a great time and we were out on time to enjoy the show. Amazing ! We wil definitely be back! Thank you guys!

We were underwhelmed with our afternoon of tea and cakes but the staff were so attentive that I've boosted what would have been a lower rating. We started with a glass of fizz which was surprisingly crisp and refreshing. Our initial round of espressos were lukewarm but our friendly server made adjustments and they were perfect for the rest of our visit. Desserts were almost all disappointing, which was a let down after enjoying such fresh, tasty sandwiches. The macarons however, were excellent. A pleasant experience though I'm not sure that we will return.

I don't know what they do to beef, but it is the bomb. It made me cry tears of joy. I'm not joking. I have visited this place 4 times and never been disappointed. The service is exceptional - they even always remember which is my favourite wine The chips and side dishes are also really good - I particularly like the onion & tomato salad with fresh herbs. They could improve their limited beer selection...

Discovered L'express Coffee Company while dining nearby.
This no frills eatery captivated me because you choose what you want for a fixed price.
Prices start at 6.90 to 10.50.
So obviously for 10.50 you can have everything in the cheaper range.
The 9.50 is probably sufficient as the 10.50 box is just wider.
I chose the 10.50 because for that selection there was lasagne, chicken curry, chilli con carne, peri peri chicken, rice noodles which are all my favourites and additionally I can get anything from the other range like houmous, salad etc.
I got mainly the hot items because it was the things I wanted so imagine how joyful it was having chili con carne, lasagne and curry in one meal.
The chicken curry was really comforting as it was just like the school one while the chili con carne and lasagne were just as good.
The potatoes wedges were to my liking as they were soft and fluffy.
You can also order sandwiches and baked potatoes at the far end.
According to the internet, they used to be located in Holborn.
Will definitely return.
There is seating outside so on a pleasant day it's a great place to enjoy the food.

We tried the classic fish and chips, and it was absolutely delicious! The chips were out of this world! The service, food, and atmosphere were all top-notch.
However, be aware that if you order just one meal for two people, they might charge you an extra 5 pounds (as we noticed on the menu) for the second person who didn’t order anything. To avoid this, we opted for a salad instead.

We were served by Aliza, Nahari & Maria who were all so lovely & friendly. Thank you. This was the best fish and chips we have ever tasted! First fish and chips I had in this current visit to London and it doesn’t disappoint. The fish wasnt oily at all so I can enjoy the crispiness and flavour of the fish. The portions are very generous and I was 100% full after my meal. Service is great as even when the shop started filling up, the orders came in a very timely manner.

A mate told me this was one the best fish and chip places he's gone and it didn't disappoint! Was super tasty! I had the haddock and my GF the cod and we both agree cod was better and less fishy tasting. The chips were fried well but I'd like them but crisper. Overall really solid. Loved the vibe of the place too. The milk shake was kinda meh but the fish and chips nailed it!
Andrew Bell - 6 months ago
Seems like the first fish and chips I ever tried in my life has ruined me for any that may follow.
I found this place by looking up good fish and chips places in London and it kept popping up. Despite the quite steep price, the food itself is amazing. The fried batter around the fish is crispy and flavourful, the fish itself soft and melts in your mouth. The chips and the sauce were also something to write home about. Genuinely can’t praise the food enough.
Do look out for the “service charge” on the bill though. It is automatically added and can rack the total amount up quite a bit. We found it to be quite tacky, that the tip was expected.
