We went to Alice House for my birthday on Friday night and the venue was buzzing! The drinks were reasonably priced, the food was decent and the atmosphere was so good! The DJ (Rider I think?) played so many good tunes that we planned to leave at midnight and didn’t leave until 1AM! We’ll be back!

We decided to went to Alice House at Queen's Park last Sunday. The food is superb as you can see from the pictures, we had some padrón peppers before with bloody mary (but I forgot to do a photo) as a starter. The portions are good and very enjoyable. The service was good and the atmosphere also. Toilet available and clean. Raccomended Yes.

In my understanding of a bar, there should be nice music in the background while you enjoy your drink and have a conversation with friends, feeling immersed in the atmosphere. Here, however, the music was incredibly loud — to the point where you can’t hear the person in front of you at all. Personally, I don’t understand why people enjoy places like this, but I respect it. That being said, the bartenders were incredibly sweet and helpful, and the drinks were both good and served quickly. Overall, the place itself is quite nice.

We absolutely love coming to GAIL’s Queen’s Park for our London Girls Book Club “Knead to Read” meet ups! The café has such a calming feel and the team are always incredibly kind and accommodating to our group. We’ve had 35–40 girls attend some of our meet ups and there is always a great amount of space throughout the café, which makes it such a lovely place to host our events. Whether we’re chatting about our latest reads, catching up over coffee or meeting new people, the atmosphere always feels relaxed, friendly and inviting. All of the staff members are soooo lovely, they always go above and beyond, including labelling 30–40 drinks for us, handing out lots of surplus food, helping us get set up and with so much more. We always end up chatting about books, having a laugh together and getting a group photo at the end of every meet up! We’re so grateful that they host us for our book club most months across the year and make us feel so welcome every time. Such a special community space with amazing coffee, delicious bakes and the loveliest team. Thank you for always making our meet ups so wonderful! 💛

Visited the shop at the last minute - 10 mins before the shop was closing. What an amazing experience- a lovely and uplifting experience it was…. I was served by Bogi ( apologies for any spelling mistakes)…. She was so kind and truly lovely. 5 stars! And the food was super yummy….. ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Small, but great atmosphere. Very busy, even during term time. Great staff. Always happy to help. One Asian guy was a tattoo that says Karma was especially helpful. Took food and drinks to table to keep the flow moving (I am in a wheelchair)

Gail’s in queens park has indoos sitting and breakfast is again delicious as always. Perfect spot for a breakfast. Scrambbled eggs with avocado as side was very delicious. I really love this chain and this one is also perfect for service.

Was really disappointed to find a piece of plastic in my pastrami sandwich and to be served dirty cutlery. This used to be my favourite go-to bakery in the neighbourhood and the service has always been so nice, but I can’t see myself coming back after this

This really is a find ! Had a family outing and could not have picked a more chilled and wonderful gastro pub. The place is split between the pub and dining area. The food is of real quality, something sadly lacking from most dining experiences in London . The staff were attentive and , refreshingly knowledgeable about all the food on the menu. The food is outstanding, the cheeseburger ( and I have had a few in my time ...) was absolutely to die for ! We all had two courses and glasses of wine and an excellent ale (IPA) which came to £50 a head INCLUDING service. It remains a little bit of a secret in Queens Park... however I would be very happy to return. 5*

We had dinner at the Salusbury Pub, served by Jose for the second time this January, now one of our favourite hidden gems. I loved the Côte de boeuf with triple-cooked chips, garden salad, and peppercorn sauce, and the January offer was a nice bonus. Overall, a great experience!

Popped in for Sunday lunch with my wife and had a great time. My wife had a Basil Smash cocktail which she absolutely loved, and I was struggling to decide on a beer. Ryan behind the bar was really helpful and took the time to chat through a few options based on what I normally drink. He recommended one that turned out to be spot on and exactly what I was looking for. Food, drinks and atmosphere were all excellent, but Ryan's service really stood out. Friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in making sure we enjoyed our visit. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Outstanding food, great menu, efficient service, homey and elegant decor. Don't miss the savoury churros, they will melt in your mouth. Very good venison pie and mash too. Sadly, no caramel tart but plenty of choice for desserts too, including an apple crumble souffle. If you are looking for a solid British restaurant with talented staff, you will love this place!

I got delivery from them and the food was tasty - I particularly loved the Saag Bhaji! Super tasty with excellent balance of garlic. I’m only taking 1 star off because the vegetable curry and Bhuna were incredibly oily, it was far too much oil. Great mix of vegetables though and the chicken was cooked very well - tender, hot and plump.

What you want from your local curry establishment is fresh and tasty curry that is consistently fresh and tasty. Queens definitely ticks those boxes. A lot of curry restaurants have issues with consistency and more than often you get a bad one that can be too oily with chewy chicken, etc. At queens tho, always tender chicken that’s fresh, the sauce is always thick and not too oily. I personally go for a chicken madras, plain rice with an onion salad and mint sauce. If you want a non fancy straight forward tasty curry that you don’t have to worry about getting a dodgy one then this is the place …definitely if you are local to the Queen’s Park area. I’ve had a curry from most of the local ones in Kilburn/Queen’s Park, but this one has been the most consistent and reliable one of them all. I don’t know about dining in it seems ok but I’m not sure I’d go for a family meal or a date there, but I like eating at home so….anyways I’ve been meaning to give this place a review and finally got around to it. Oh the staff and owner are all very pleasant and friendly price is ok, not the cheapest but not too expensive, normally cost me £15.

I ordered at take away on Just Eat 07/12/2021. My food was absolutely delicious and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the food. I ordered a Chicken Vindaloo, a portion of plain rice and 4 Puris. I was very pleased to discover that this restaurant does Puris, as not all Indian restaurants do and it is one of my favourite Indian breads. I will definitely be ordering again from Queens. Well done guys keep up the good work. For those of you who are slating this restaurant and saying it is bad, I have to disagree. I am also Indian myself so I know a good curry from a bad one.

This is a first for me as I don’t tend to leave reviews for supermarkets, but I suppose I’ve never been shouted at at one before. While waiting to pay at the automated tills, I saw there was an employee standing there, I assumed, to call out the free tills since it was busy. However, I quickly realised he wasn’t actually doing this and so, when it was my turn, I started to tentatively approach what I thought might be a free till. He then shouted ‘No! No no no no!’ at me. No explanation, no actual words. Mind you, I didn’t even make it to the till before he had shouted ‘no’ four times at me. He then turned his head and looked away when I tried to look at him on my way out, in an attempt to address it. I’m aware of the stress that these jobs can bring, am always nice to cashiers and don’t expect them to be always lovely, but this was such a disproportionate and borderline aggressive reaction it honestly left me a bit shaken. I guess there are worse problems but it’s never nice to have this happen to you at your local supermarket, if anyone cares to address it.

I love the convenience, great for a quick small shop. The entire staff are super helpfull and friendly. Did a shop 2 weeks ago and the buzz and energy set the tone for my week. From the security guard to the manager, Rebecca, and across all the staff this is my new go-to. (I got some great 75p deals on chicken breasts too!) Please forward this post to the branch, they're a special bunch of people.

We're visiting from Germany and we were very pleasantly surprised. Both the service from all the hosts and the food were excellent. We received a very warm welcome and were treated with genuine hospitality! The two of us shared the egs royal which was a bit a small portion and the shakshuka which was good. Afterwards we shared the Pancakes which was definetly the best value for money and very delicous. We didn't have to wait long at all. There were very mixed guests from young to old and the ambiance was cute. The quality, taste, look of the food and service were outstanding however not cheap and not the biggest portions. Anyway if we lived here, we'd definitely come back more often (-;

I recently visited this restaurant for brunch with my friend and had an amazing experience. The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived—everyone was friendly and attentive. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. I had the Mediterranean breakfast with a refreshing lemonade, both of which were fantastic. My friend ordered the hot chocolate and couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was. We also tried the pancakes with bacon and fruit, which were heavenly, and the Eggs Benedict were top-notch. The only downside was that it was a bit noisy, but that wouldn’t stop me from coming back. I also loved the thoughtful touch of receiving a little card with our bill that’s biodegradable and has seeds, so you can plant it—such a great eco-friendly idea. Without a doubt, I’ll be returning to try more of their dishes. Highly recommend!

This place is a real gem in a sea of crappy yet pretentious London restaurants. The food is authentic as can get and reminded us of our travels to Japan. Especially the speed at which food is served! Can't tell you how many times we went to an "authentic" Japanese in London only to wait 40 minutes for a Donburi. The speed, quality and taste of this place is incredible. The staff is lovely as well. We will definetly be back to try the rest of the menu

We love Michiko Sushino, and are so lucky it’s local! The food is incredible. It’s high quality sushi but with an innovative menu. The Hiphop roll is a favourite, we order it every time! Jack served us last night, and was really lovely and attentive. It’s a genuine gem.

Definitely one of the best sushi places I’ve ever eaten. Great atmosphere and the food is comparable to Michelin star Japanese restaurants. The people who work there are the kindest and friendliest bunch. The QP community is truly blessed for having this high end (but not expensive) Japanese restaurant! A must try for anyone visiting London or QP. Well done to the owners, staff and the chefs!

An amazing experience. Food was so delicious. Tea and sake tasted so good too. Attention was superb. They fed us until our bellies were happy. Best of all is we shared time with our friends that work in the restaurant (Jose Perez and Jose Alberto). Certainly, we left the restaurant with lots of flavours in our mouths and looking forward to coming back again. Photos and video speak for ourselves!

The staff were so lovely. Unfortunately, I don’t know the name of the staff member who served me but they were absolutely wonderful. I was rushing and I accidentally spilt my coffee (it was completely my fault). I felt so bad for the staff that they had to clean up the mess I made but fortunately, they were very nice and understanding, telling me that it was okay (I had a horrible experience once in a different branch), they replaced my drink and even asked if I were okay before leaving. This made my day so much better, thank you for much!

This is one of the best coffee shops I've ever been to and I've been to a lot, i travel nationwide, the staff are excellent, they have the best customer service so friendly and welcoming, had the best conversation with some random people here left there with stomach ache after laughing so hard, would recommend a stop here to everyone, the coffee was spot on too

Starbucks is always nice, more attention to the service. I paid almost 10 pounds and the spoon for my cappuccino wasn't included. I understand that Need it brought austerity, but a standard spoon instead the take away stick would be better. However, the staff provided after my request. Pay always attention to the service!

This is our 2nd time and i cld gladly say, the best fish & chip is here! This time we ate the spicy cod n chilli haddock. The grilled chilli haddock is so so good! Definitely! The kids love it here, the service, the variety of food n beverages. Just marvelous. Manisha were so nice and make it ever so homely for us here. We will definitely come again if we drop by London!

Man hopped off the Bakerloo Line at Queen’s Park yeah, just cruising through and thought nahhh… I’m proper craving a cod and chips still. Rolled into Mr Fish and straight away the vibe was patterned. Couple boss ladies behind the counter moving quick, handling orders like pros—no long thing. Proper respect to them, running the show smooth. You already know though, real bossman was probably in the back laying low, making sure everything’s certified 😂 Ordered the cod and chips and fam… say no more. Batter was crispy but not greasy, fish was mad fresh and flaking apart nice, and the chips were banging—fluffy inside, slight crunch outside. Everything hot like it just came out the fryer (which it did tbf). This ain’t no average chippy, this is serious levels. If you’re passing through Queen’s Park, don’t sleep on this spot. Man’s definitely pulling up again 💯

Had a great meal at Mr Fish @ Queen’s Park! The fish & chips were super crispy, fresh and served in a generous portion — memang puas hati. The thick-cut chips were perfectly cooked and not oily at all. Tips for Malaysian .. bring Chili Sos .. 👍👍 We also tried their buffalo wings, — juicy, flavourful, with just the right level of spice. A perfect side dish with the fish & chips. Best of all, they offer halal options, which makes it安心 for Muslim travellers to enjoy classic British favourites without worry.

One of the best malaysian restaurants I have tried in London. Wonderful food that made my day - authentic and aromatic. The kopi is to my liking, lovely and smooth! Absolutely loved our meal here! The laksa was rich, fragrant and packed with flavour, the chicken rice was perfectly done, and the black sticky rice pudding was the ideal finish - warm, comforting and not overly sweet. Hi Sudu, I didn't get the name of the 2 nice guys serving us. They smile and look like really enjoying serving the visitors. I cannot took some pictures of the ambience because it was quite a full house that Sunday Night. The ambience : warm, friendly and very welcoming. The Location : strategically placed very close to Queen's Park Underground station. The Food Chicken Nasi Goreng : BEST with a significant smokey note, big chunk of chicken and 🫛 green peas. Nasi Lemak Fried Chicken : Marvellous, 4 pcs of freshly cooked crunchy chicken, with the taste of galangal and kaffir lime leaves. And the sambal is very authentic. Rojak Salad : in Indonesia we say "Rujak". Very original taste of Rujak, sweet, sour, spicy.. fresh fruits although they are not tropical fruit as normal ORIGINAL Rujak, but it is indeed still VERY NICE. The Toilet : is accessible. Parking space : this one we don't know because we coming by the tube. Overall.. ALL WONDERFUL. IF you ever have time to visit Queen's Park When you are in London, please find SUDU. For my fellow asian especially from SEA, if you ever miss your hometown for and beverage, you need to VISIT SUDU. All the best, keep the good work. Thank you for the very nice dinner.

A very chic and clean setup. Loved the mood lighting and the actual real candles. The restaurant was a little tight but cozy, perfect for a cold night. The Roti Cani and Laksa were phenomenal and the Beff Rengdan was also pretty good (beef was a little tough). The Spicy beef berlada was a little too strong with the shrimp paste chilly. Overall loved the location with a nice cozy setup and good comfort food for a chilly night.
