Such a great & cosy pub! First time at this location rather than at West Hampstead - but just as great! Mushroom burger was 🤌!

Very good pub, with great ambiance and there was even live music. The staff is absolutely fantastic and very kind. I just took 1 star off as the food was good but my dish was quite cold. The fish however was perfect cooked and warm, so I imagine it was because they reheated the beans.
But overall a very nice place with good value

I came here for Sunday roast and the atmosphere and pub itself was really nice however there are a few pain points.
The vegetarian roast was half an aubergine as a meat replacement and although the menu says all roasts come with a Yorkshire, it didn’t and upon ordering one as the plate is otherwise solely vegetables (for £18), I was charged and extra £1.50 for it?
The service was friendly but most seemed super stressed. We had our orders taken but had to ask for the Yorkshire pudding twice and then weren’t ever checked on after ordering.
Overall, it’s a nice pub when it’s not busy but felt like £30 for an aubergine and veg roast with a pint of cider was too much.

Lovely staff. Super friendly.
I liked the yellow peas hummus. Not a big fan of the celeriac and squash fritters. They were very oily and the chilli sauce needed a lot more chilli.
My burger was nice, specially the chips. Super crispy. The house pickle could do with a but more vinegar or pickling time.

I used to go frequently when I lived in NW when Alice House QP opened. Today we popped in on a Friday night and happy to see the same buzz. Staff seemed chipper but I did feel old with the younger crowd. That's my problem not AH. Great to see it's still well-loved and used by the community. Did find it funny that there was more missing light bulbs than light🤭

Gail’s in queens park has indoos sitting and breakfast is again delicious as always. Perfect spot for a breakfast. Scrambbled eggs with avocado as side was very delicious. I really love this chain and this one is also perfect for service.

This has been my home away from home for the past two weeks. The coffee and baked goods are always delicious, and the seating area is cozy. Everyone at the front has been incredibly kind. A special thanks to Sweety who has reminded me of that universal gift we call the kindness of strangers.

This morning, I had the pleasure of visiting Gail's Bakery in Queen's Park, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The cozy ambiance immediately made me feel at home. I enjoyed a perfectly baked croissant, accompanied by a delicious coffee that was just the right balance of smooth and strong.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Their warm smiles and quick service made my morning start on a high note. If you're in the area and looking for a spot to enjoy some quality baked goods and coffee, I highly recommend Gail's Bakery. It’s a gem in Queen's Park!

One of the best Gails branches, usually full and with a queue but it’s well worth the wait.
I may have ordered a cinnamon bun from time to time…

Had takeaway coffees and pastries and everything was delicious! Particularly the cinnamon bun. Very busy but the queue moves quickly

A very nice pub.
We had a pizza and it was very good pizza.

Suchna lovely place although the service needs a bit of more focus.
Talking about missing items from our order, and added items in our check in the end. Well it happens.
More precisely we missed a Heineken of my friend and we were charged extra pint of beer and a single glass of wine, but we ordered only bottled.
The pizza and the wines were really good and I loved the design of the knifes we used for the pizzas. 🍕
Amazing vibe and quality food.
You must try the mushroom pizza dripped with some truffle oil. Smell so good. Ahhh... We might visit again.

Only eat pizza here. Staff and beers good, but the cooking of a standard european main menu was disgusting.
Hake with Butter Bean stew sounded like a lovely Med classic
Beans were basically a vegetable curry (very spicey and fish fillet had oil poured over it.
Meal was a like glass of chilli oil

Came in at 11pm on a Saturday and stayed til closing. Great selection of beers, staff were very friendly and chatty. Decor was nice, overall a lovely pub that I would happily return to next time I'm in the area.

The atmosphere was so quaint and lovely. It was very wonderful English experience of an awesome pub. I highly recommend you try this place while in London. The service was a 10 out of 10. The food and drinks were all phenomenal. I wish I had gone a few more times to try other items on the menu. I got this pizza for the lady at the next table and a fabulous looking pizza and I just couldn’t turn it down!

What you want from your local curry establishment is fresh and tasty curry that is consistently fresh and tasty. Queens definitely ticks those boxes. A lot of curry restaurants have issues with consistency and more than often you get a bad one that can be too oily with chewy chicken, etc. At queens tho, always tender chicken that’s fresh, the sauce is always thick and not too oily. I personally go for a chicken madras, plain rice with an onion salad and mint sauce. If you want a non fancy straight forward tasty curry that you don’t have to worry about getting a dodgy one then this is the place …definitely if you are local to the Queen’s Park area. I’ve had a curry from most of the local ones in Kilburn/Queen’s Park, but this one has been the most consistent and reliable one of them all. I don’t know about dining in it seems ok but I’m not sure I’d go for a family meal or a date there, but I like eating at home so….anyways I’ve been meaning to give this place a review and finally got around to it. Oh the staff and owner are all very pleasant and friendly price is ok, not the cheapest but not too expensive, normally cost me £15.

I got delivery from them and the food was tasty - I particularly loved the Saag Bhaji! Super tasty with excellent balance of garlic.
I’m only taking 1 star off because the vegetable curry and Bhuna were incredibly oily, it was far too much oil. Great mix of vegetables though and the chicken was cooked very well - tender, hot and plump.

This café/restaurant is well-known among locals in Queens Park. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. The food is excellent; I’ve been here a few times and have never been disappointed. They serve breakfast / brunch until 4 p.m., which is a big plus for me. The quality-to-price ratio is fair, and the food feels freshly cooked. The coffee and teas are both of good quality and quantity. They also always bring tap water, which is a nice gesture. Definitely a place I’d recommend.

A perfect brunch location. The menu is perfect and I can't wait to go back to try more. I took my daughter on Saturday and was pleasantly surprised to see a kids menu. She enjoyed it so much that we had to go back the next morning for another breakfast. I've had the porridge with a side of hash browns and pancakes with bacon and they were both amazing.
I will be back! Highly recommended.

Nice seating both in and out.
V reasonable price and the food is delicious. Grilled tom was nice! Usually not my fav but they do them well here, not soggy and flavoured well with salt and garlic.
Avo smash was great, lots of fresh smashed avo, same thickness as the toast.
They use UNION coffee 👌

Ordered the following via Delivery:
- Chicken Schnitzel Burger with Sweet Fries (£18)
- Warm Apple Pie (£7)
Review:
- The Chicken Schnitzel burger was good overall. However the avocado in my opinion doesn't really work within the burger. Either making it slightly subtler or removing it feels like it would be better.
- Sweet fries were nice, you get a medium sized portion and they aren't overly sweet.
- The warm apple pie was slightly disappointing as it was a tad too sweet overpowering the overall flavour.
Pricing:
The pricing is fairly steep for what you get as the average main dish is £15. For the burger, it is a big sized burger however I don't think it should be priced that high.

The best Japanese food that I have eaten in London. Everything was exceptional.

this is my favorite sushi place. Love it here so much. But they used to have amazing buttery-minty candy they gave at the end. Like a freebie. And I loved them… now they changed the candy to something else. I miss the old candy! Please bring it back. I still love it here tho and the food is tasty and people are so sweet 😊

This place was so so good! Everything tasted delicious and was so fresh. We were genuinely surprised at how underrated this gem is - will defo be coming back!! We were celebrating a special occasion so ordered a lot of food and everything was incredible! The two mocktails were a bit sour/sharp for our preference but they still got finished

An amazing experience. Food was so delicious. Tea and sake tasted so good too. Attention was superb. They fed us until our bellies were happy. Best of all is we shared time with our friends that work in the restaurant (Jose Perez and Jose Alberto). Certainly, we left the restaurant with lots of flavours in our mouths and looking forward to coming back again. Photos and video speak for ourselves!

Starbucks is always nice, more attention to the service. I paid almost 10 pounds and the spoon for my cappuccino wasn't included. I understand that Need it brought austerity, but a standard spoon instead the take away stick would be better. However, the staff provided after my request. Pay always attention to the service!

Most Renowned Fish & Chips spot in London! 🤤
Customer service was excellent—we were well taken care of during our visit. The food was fantastic, made with high-quality ingredients. It’s clear why many customers have been coming here for years; the restaurant consistently delivers. The traditional fish and chips were outstanding, with healthier options also available. 😍
We ordered the large cod fish and chips, and the portion size was generous. The fish was tender and juicy, while the chips were perfectly crispy. We also appreciated the lovely view from our seats inside the restaurant. In addition to fish and chips, they offer a range of wings and burgers worth trying.

Mr Fish is our local fish and chip shop which is dangerous to say the least. The fish is fresh and cooked to order so if you want light batter or a large or medium size it’s no problem. I am from up north so I know great fish and chips. Mr Fish is the best!

We had a great dining experience here and enjoyed our meal, particularly the nasi lemak and char kuey teow. The flavors were delightful but we found the sambal that accompanied the nasi lemak a bit disappointing. It consisted mostly of onions, and there wasn’t much sambal to complement the dish. The prices were also on the higher side but given it's London, we can’t really fault them for that. Still a good experience and would come back again!

A really nice Malaysian place to visit. For starters we got satay chicken which were lovely.
For mains, we ordered laksa which was very warming on a cold day. I wondered how the chicken would pair with prawns, tofu and a boiled egg but it did go down quite well. If it doesn't sit well with you, you can swap some protein out.
Also got Nasi Lamek with Beef randang which was spectacular. The beef quality was perfect and tender. The sambal given with it was delicious. This was really a dish with lots of depth in term of flavours and textures. The Nasi Goreng was pretty standard but good too 👍🏼
Overall, the service was really good. Atmosphere was great too. A really nice place to go as a family. They even ask ablut allergies. They also offer 20% NHS discount 👍🏼 would go again😊
