3 Star Rating Great spot for drinks but food was a real let down for an 8pm dining (? end of service reduction in quality). The £17.50 burger had sparse caramelised onions and cheese served on a kids sized plate with a handful of lukewarm chips. The chicken in the pies looked like it had been blended into the sauce with the consistency of mush with some rare bits of visible chicken. The feedback from my friends was it was soggy and they both couldn't finish the meal. We fed this all back to our waitresses, and we were told that's the recipe and how things are done. What a disappointment for a group of food lovers looking forward to a pub meal!

4 Star Rating Very good pub, with great ambiance and there was even live music. The staff is absolutely fantastic and very kind. I just took 1 star off as the food was good but my dish was quite cold. The fish however was perfect cooked and warm, so I imagine it was because they reheated the beans. But overall a very nice place with good value

5 Star Rating Nikki and the staff, especially Poppy and Eve, made this American feel more at home in London than most of my favorite spots in the U.S. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have found this place. The moment I walked in I felt welcomed. Sometimes, London gets a bad reputation compared to the tip-based service of other parts of the world, but Alice House made me a convert. I'm a huge fan of this place and the incredible staff!

3 Star Rating Great staff, great atmosphere but the hot drinks are disgusting and the food isn't great either. You can get a better latte in Macdonalds and even a basic hot chocolate is watery and gross. One of the best spots in the area so I hope they work on improving this. I would spend much more if they did.

4 Star Rating Suchna lovely place although the service needs a bit of more focus. Talking about missing items from our order, and added items in our check in the end. Well it happens. More precisely we missed a Heineken of my friend and we were charged extra pint of beer and a single glass of wine, but we ordered only bottled. The pizza and the wines were really good and I loved the design of the knifes we used for the pizzas. 🍕 Amazing vibe and quality food. You must try the mushroom pizza dripped with some truffle oil. Smell so good. Ahhh... We might visit again.

5 Star Rating The atmosphere was so quaint and lovely. It was very wonderful English experience of an awesome pub. I highly recommend you try this place while in London. The service was a 10 out of 10. The food and drinks were all phenomenal. I wish I had gone a few more times to try other items on the menu. I got this pizza for the lady at the next table and a fabulous looking pizza and I just couldn’t turn it down!

4 Star Rating I got delivery from them and the food was tasty - I particularly loved the Saag Bhaji! Super tasty with excellent balance of garlic. I’m only taking 1 star off because the vegetable curry and Bhuna were incredibly oily, it was far too much oil. Great mix of vegetables though and the chicken was cooked very well - tender, hot and plump.

5 Star Rating What you want from your local curry establishment is fresh and tasty curry that is consistently fresh and tasty. Queens definitely ticks those boxes. A lot of curry restaurants have issues with consistency and more than often you get a bad one that can be too oily with chewy chicken, etc. At queens tho, always tender chicken that’s fresh, the sauce is always thick and not too oily. I personally go for a chicken madras, plain rice with an onion salad and mint sauce. If you want a non fancy straight forward tasty curry that you don’t have to worry about getting a dodgy one then this is the place …definitely if you are local to the Queen’s Park area. I’ve had a curry from most of the local ones in Kilburn/Queen’s Park, but this one has been the most consistent and reliable one of them all. I don’t know about dining in it seems ok but I’m not sure I’d go for a family meal or a date there, but I like eating at home so….anyways I’ve been meaning to give this place a review and finally got around to it. Oh the staff and owner are all very pleasant and friendly price is ok, not the cheapest but not too expensive, normally cost me £15.

5 Star Rating I recently visited this restaurant for brunch with my friend and had an amazing experience. The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived—everyone was friendly and attentive. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. I had the Mediterranean breakfast with a refreshing lemonade, both of which were fantastic. My friend ordered the hot chocolate and couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was. We also tried the pancakes with bacon and fruit, which were heavenly, and the Eggs Benedict were top-notch. The only downside was that it was a bit noisy, but that wouldn’t stop me from coming back. I also loved the thoughtful touch of receiving a little card with our bill that’s biodegradable and has seeds, so you can plant it—such a great eco-friendly idea. Without a doubt, I’ll be returning to try more of their dishes. Highly recommend!

5 Star Rating The place is fantastic! It is not the biggest cafe but so pretty! They opened the glass doors on sunny day making it more spacious. The foods and beverages were great! We ordered Egg Royales and Tacos for the main, the Vanilla Latte was a top notch. And we totally love the desserts as well, the Sticky Toffee and Cookie Dough Skillet. We really appreciate the services though! All the staffs were friendly, helpful, and quick! One of them saw us struggled taking selfies and she came to the rescue without us asking. This is not the cheapest option to have a brunch, but we think it worth the price.

5 Star Rating This café/restaurant is well-known among locals in Queens Park. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. The food is excellent; I’ve been here a few times and have never been disappointed. They serve breakfast / brunch until 4 p.m., which is a big plus for me. The quality-to-price ratio is fair, and the food feels freshly cooked. The coffee and teas are both of good quality and quantity. They also always bring tap water, which is a nice gesture. Definitely a place I’d recommend.

2 Star Rating Starbucks: The only option open on Christmas Day, which makes it a default choice in the absence of alternatives. However, used to be a major customer, until they reformulated their syrups. I was struck by how much the quality of their pastries has declined. Perhaps this is a change over the past 5-10 years, as I remember enjoying a decent croissant years ago (maybe 15) or while in starbucks abroad. That said, it’s worth pointing out the current poor standard as you never know someone might review. I’m also not a fan of the seating arrangement in Queens Park Statbucks it feels uninviting. Staff in this one are always nice though.

5 Star Rating I had lunch at Mr. Fish and ordered the cod with chips, medium spicy with Cajun seasoning—absolutely fantastic! The last time I had fish and chips this good was in Kent near the beach, and this is the closest match to that level of perfection. I first tried it a week ago via delivery and was so impressed, I had to visit the restaurant in person to experience it fresh. The food did not disappoint—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. You won’t regret coming here. Highly recommend!

5 Star Rating What a find. Just next door to Queens Park tube on the Bakerloo line. I discovered this place on Infatuation and really hoped it lived up to the Google reviews. It did! Gorgeous decor that complements that food and atmosphere. Even the disabled toilet is good looking and welcoming! And the food and service. Exemplary. The laksa is full full full with noodles and other good things. Best I’ve tasted in London. The nasi cam cam fish serving was delightful with the medley of fresh vegetables on the side. We even got complimentary pandan cake as it was my friend’s birthday. Service was polite and when a mistake on the order was made they voluntarily made it up to us. Soooo coming again. My mouth is watering just thinking of that laksa dish again! Highly recommended. We got there just before the dinner rush on a Sunday hence empty tables. It soon filled up!

5 Star Rating It wasn't that busy on a Sunday afternoon about 2pm. We made a reservation just in case but there were plenty of tables available. The servers were really nice and on top of cleaning plates, getting our order, and getting our bill (along with the card machine straight after which sometimes takes forever in some places 🤣) All the dishes we ordered were fantastic! We started off with a little chicke Satay. Pretty good taste but could be a little more grilled and flavoured. The star was the peanut sauce. It was lovely as it had a great balance of all favours and a nice spice throughout. Wish I could have bottled up that sauce for home. We also got the Kerabu which was a mango salad. Very refreshing and had some proper bite to it spice wise with the chopped up green chillies Finally we had the Nasi Lemak with Rendang. It was superb. You get a lot of the smaller things like the anchovies + chilli, sambal and coconut rice so it's good for getting a range of sides. All the small dishes were delicious and when mixed together it's such a great mixture of tastes, spices and textures (especially from the anchovies). The rendang was fantastic as well. Great rich flavours. Very much enjoyed my meal here! It's quite expensive though. I think it may be better to come here in a group so that a range of things can be tried. Would recommend though!

5 Star Rating One of the best laksa I had outside of Malaysia/Singapore. You know how many places in London just serve a pretty decent but rather “empty” laksa? This is not like those places. It had a huge amount of things in it: so much chicken, tofu, prawns were delicious, and lots of veggies, cooked to perfection (still crunchy). Just look at the pictures, tells you everything you need to know. Also service was spot on and waiters very attentive. It had been on my to go to list for a while and I will certainly be back - it’s worth the trip and going out of your way for!
