QUEENS skate dine and bowl is a good venue for small to large groups looking to have fun with a variety of activities. Personally, I have spent most of my time ice skating, but have visited to bowl with a large group. The ice rink is very good, as it gets resurfaced regularly throughout the day. The staff on the rink are generally really friendly and helpful, and are often helping people when they fall over.

Fantastic from booking to finish. Friendly helpful staff always on hand. Clean tidy and great place always happy to return. Good value for money
Especially if I get to have a cheeky drink while the kids skate. This one called get ducked is the latest one 👌

Lovely ice rink and bowling alley. Have been here many times, mainly for ice skating but also bowling for our work Christmas party. Booking with QUEENS was incredibly easy, and they were able to host a group of over 25+ with very little notice! The booking came with drink tokens at an affordable price. Love the ice rink and think it’s the best rink in London, and I’ve often spotted Olympic ice skaters! Would recommend visiting in the weekday during school hours, just after the ice has been resurfaced (the schedule is on the website). Locker rentals are available to store your belongings securely, so you don’t have to worry about anything going missing or being damaged on the ice!

You're paying the tourist tax when you go there, but honestly, it's worth it for a one time night out.
You know what you're getting into. I would go back with friends visiting or for a work event.

I absolutely love here! Been here with my friends several times and we had so much fun!! The staff are quite helpful and they’re eager to help with anything requires. Just one reminder, do be careful of pickpockets in this area, they could sneak in to the venue and take your valuables from the bag. Although cctv was in use but still it’s always too late and we customers could not see it straight away. However when it happened the staff were very active with assisting us. Hope to visit there soon!

Wanted to compare the roasted duck between this restaurant and the one down the road. Both are equally good but the one here is sweeter. We also ordered the set meal A which consisted of an assortment of dishes as we were undecided what to order. I like the corn soup which has similar texture and consistency of shark fins soup. My favourite was the stir fried beef which was tender and full of flavours. The other dishes except the fried rice were also good. Fried rice was quite bland.
Service here is not as friendly but it was efficient. We got our food quickly after we placed our order.

One of my old favourite Chinese restaurants in London, I started coming back here again. Food has always been exemplary, but other restaurants with the same cuisine in the area give it a run for their money. Still, comes highly recommended.

Love their crispy duck, roast duck, and char siew roast pork.
Staff are friendly and attentive.
Service is quick.
It gets crowded, so come early or be prepared to wait.
Decor is old and seating crowded.
Could use a spruce up.
It doesn't affect the dining experience though.
Colin Liew - 3 weeks ago
Their roast duck is still the best. We ordered charsiu and soy chicken too which were good. The wonton noodles could be more Q, but the salted fish fried rice had generous bits of salted fish which satisfied my craving though it could maybe have a bit more wok hei. Pity they didn’t have dim sum.

Had early dinner a couple of days ago. It was late afternoon and the restaurant was quiet. Service was prompt. The two dishes we ordered were taste. Pricing is reasonable. The interior needs a little TLC.

📝Notes: Halepi is a Greek restaurant that has been around for decades. They are famously known for their Milkfed Lamb. I got the chance to try it and must I say, despite its basic presentation, it tastes really good 😋
I noticed that this restaurant is very traditional in the way that the staff operates. The staff are friendly but unfortunately it was hard to call them at times.
I wouldn’t mind coming back as I enjoyed my meal, just the only thing that I would change are the seats as they are a bit uncomfortable as well as the tables are all close by to each other, they do that to accommodate more guests but I do feel like they could work on that, there’s potential ✨

Excellent and authentic Greek food, especially the fish and lamb chops! The octopus salad is a MUST try too. Prices are fair. It can get very crowded so I would advise making a reservation or going early. The tables are also very close to each other.

I will be honest with you, the food specially the lamb shoulder was average, no spices, no salt 😣

This place was a blast and the food was amazing! We were eager to try it but there were no reservations available online but when we stopped by they said they could squeeze us in! Yay! We were so glad they did. We had a large hummus, large Greek salad, mousaka, fresh pita bread and chicken kebab and rice and it was all sooo good. The wine was great and the atmosphere was fun. Really nice staff and music playing, clapping and a birthday at a table nearby. Someone also got the whole chicken and it looked amazing too. Our 5 year-old loved it, too!

An excellent and classic restaurant that serves the best and most delicious types of Greek food. I have tried the meat, it has something indescribable, very delicious. I highly recommend it... especially the treatment of the staff was very wonderful and respectful... for me, it is one of the best restaurants in London.

We were staying in the area for one night, and Bella Italia stood out as a nice place to go. We received a warm and friendly welcome, although our waiter seemed a little preoccupied with his friend outside during our dinner.. Great choice of good quality dishes, what we ordered was most enjoyable. Overall, it was a really nice evening, and I would visit again.

Avoid. At least, the fish and chips.
Not sure what the other reviewer who sang it's praises was served... Overpriced, poor quality and not as advertised.
(1) See the pic of the menu description. Note the description for the peas and the chips. You can see that the (miserly portion of) peas was not "crushed" in any way! And the chips hadn't been adequately cooked once, let alone multiple times aka "triple-cooked"(2) What's up with the portion sizes? Are frozen peas expensive? And potatoes? At least there was no service charge on top of that £17 bill.
I ate the whole meal, but I didn't love it, and wish I'd gone elsewhere.

One of our son's and daughter-in-laws go to pubs when they visit London ... we were very happy that they introduced us to this lovely pub with great atmosphere and ambience. The food, Chicken Bacon Avocado Sandwich, Chicken Schnitzel and Fish Finger Sandwich were all delicious, well prepared and presented, the accompanying chips were crisp and tasty. The Sticky Toffee for desert was served warm with creamy vanilla ice cream and the flavor was excellent, actually the best I've ever had. The service was friendly and very helpful. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the product. We were grateful to share this excellent experience with them and thankful that they shared one of there favorite spots with us.

This is a lovely place with the nicest staff. The food was delicious, there was a cosy atmosphere inside. We were a group of 5, the staff promptly joined two tables to accommodate us. We got the typical fish and chips and chicken breast, both were nicely cooked and very well served. The beer was phenomenal! We had a marvelous dinner. It's a place to revisit!

This is one of my favorite roast duck restaurant in London! I have 1st tried their roast duck 20 over years back and the roast duck has been pretty consistent. The dim sum portion is considered generous and big. The har gao and egg tart is so good! We dropped by during lunch time and the restaurant is crowded and the q for dinner time is always long as our hotel is nearby. Will definitely be back if I get a chance to visit London again!

This was a recommendation by friends to have roasted duck here in London. We ordered the trio plate consisting of the roasted duck, pork belly and char siew. Also ordered fried rice, fried vermicelli and some dim sum. The duck was so flavourful and tender. It was definitely the best roasted duck that I ever had anywhere in the world. We had to order another half duck portion to satisfy our appetite.
The dim sums were OK but the fried vermicelli had an unique flavour and it didn't go well with us. Fried rice lack wok hei but was not too oily.
Overall a really good place to eat Chinese food in London.

Tasty Chinese fare on Queensway. The noodle had a good flavor to it. It was nicely fried along with the pork. The tripe was cooked perfectly, well done. The congee could’ve had a lot more flavor too it. It was quite bland actually. The tea was on point though, especially with the awfully cold night that it was. The staff was attentive and friendly, overall good stuff.

I’ve been dining here whenever I visited London for 30 years now. The food especially the roasted meats were consistently good, but the dim sum and stir-fried dishes could be great or not depending on the chef. On the last trip the dim sum was not as good as usual, the beef horfun too salty, but the egg fried rice was pretty good.

We ordered Ginger Lemon Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken and grilled vegetables. The lemon was very strong, but good. The chicken was not breaded and really soaked up the sauce. Service was adequate, ambiance was minimal.

Don’t know why this restaurant is so popular. Mediocre food and service. I think easily can get from China town. The duck was recommended and it’s super “dry”. Clams was a bit overcook and the large prawn is nothing special too. The lobster noodles is the best among all as the meat is tender and sweet. Won’t be coming back for sure.

The famous ginger and spring onion lobster noodle did not disappoint us
But it can be better. Too much corn starch to make the sauce like glue. Lobster is reasonable and a touch tough but that’s normal European lobster. Service is reasonable and does the job. Forget the atmosphere and focus on the food.
Reasonable value for money given it’s London.

We were 20 pax and were seated very swiftly as we booked beforehand.
Place was adequately lit and the place is bathed in a really nice atmosphere befitting of a high-end Chinese Cuisine Restaurant. As it is a small joint (2 ground floor shoplots combined into 1), it is expected that the are is quite packed and tight.
We were served a plethora of dishes that was selected by our host. The seafood fish maw soup was delicious and hearty.
Followed by their signature Peking Duck which I personally feel was alright, although nothing really to shout about. The skin of the Peking Duck was not really as crispy as others that I've previously tasted but all in all still a satisfying dish.
The main letdown to me was the lobster noodles, the whole dish tasted bland and had an overwhelming earthy tasted to it, I couldn't taste any hint of lobster within the sauce at all and the lobster were poorly prepared (flash frying with flour prior to it being tossed into the sauce was not done properly, the light batter coating the lobster also tasted weird).
The vegetables were all okay and great.
All in all it was an alright meal but the mainstay dishes were really disappointing, could've been much better.

Great restaurant specialising in the famous lobster noodles. Always have to order a dish when we come here. The lobster is fresh and juicy. Also tried the duck pancake which was tender with nice crispy skin on top. The spring onion and cucumber could be a bit fresher. Egg fried rice was very fragrant with the wok taste. Booked last minute to come here on the evening before the Lunar New Year and manager managed to squeeze us in which was really nice. Do come here if you fancy some lobster!

Lovely spot for breakfast. We sat outside to enjoy the lovely summer weather, food was good. The French toast looked fab!
Gillian - in the last week
The waitresses were very nice so I will commend them for the very good service. The atmosphere was very dead with only 1-2 other tables in the restaurant on a Friday night (it was a huge dining area by the way). I was really surprised that it was empty considering that it’s connected to the Hilton hotel and beside the tube station on a very busy high street. The place was nice, clean, and relaxing though so I will give them credit for that.
The food was below average quality. I ordered the croquettes, wagyu sando, sirloin steak, and truffle fries. I had high expectations for the food considering the high price point. I was very disappointed by the quality of all the dishes we ordered.
The croquettes were one of the worst croquettes I’ve ever had in my life. The breading was very hard and chewy, as if it was old. Not the usual texture for croquetas breading. The filling was good though.
The wagyu sando did not have good quality Wagyu. I had to constantly add salt to add flavor to the sandwich although it wasn’t the only thing that was lacking. I just felt like the Wagyu wasn’t fresh and the sandwich itself was quite oily.
The steak was okay although it tasted like something you would get at a French brasserie and not for that price point lol.
The truffle fries were pretty good. I mean, I guess it’s the safest dish you could order at any restaurant.
Overall, I was quite disappointed because I was really craving for steak that night. I decided to try this restaurant out as I live in the neighborhood and was hoping for top quality food and experience. Such a shame though as I’ve heard good things about Aubaine but maybe I was just unlucky with my visit to this branch and at this time.
For a total of 95 pounds for 2 people, I expected way way more!

Service was good and the eggs royale were tasty. The coffee, not so much. The coffee did taste like something out of a machine where you press the button and coffee comes out, rather than a barista made one. For the price and location, coffee really needs to be better. The music was a bit too loud so the atmosphere was not very cosy. With some tweaks this could be a great place but currently it’s so so.

not going to lie we expected more from this place.
- atmosphere is lovely. not too crowded either, even when there was 50% off which could possibly be a con…
- service was attentive but somewhat slow with serving water, and though the staff were sweet, they seemed a bit overwhelmed
- food was decent in taste but not for the the price. presentation could definitely improve and the portions were small given the price as well.
- the menu was a bit all over the place… while there were a variety of starters, the salads were quite standard (mostly caesar salads or tuna nicoise) and the mains didn’t seem classic “french.” there were two wagyu dishes, for instance. the only thing that seemed really unique was the lobster spaghetti but that was nearly £40.
- desserts were also very standard. 3 scoops of ice cream for £10… was yummy but certainly not better than £4 gelato.

What a wonderful experience, the staff, service and food was fantastic. They were so good to me and my girlfriend whose birthday celebrations was held here I was at a loss of words. They were so attentive and friendly. It makes a change when some places they don't make any effort to interact with you. We had a good chat and laugh. They food was delicious and the desserts were amazing. I really enjoyed them. They were so kind they gave us a free dessert. I was so grateful for their kindness. My girlfriend was so happy she had an amazing time. We highly recommend here and the food was delicious we went to town, lobster pasta, calamari, sweet potato fries, the wagu brioche sandwich was amazing. The sweet options are really really well made. I found them bettee than some other so called high end restaurants. This one beat them.
Please press like if you found my review helpful. Thank you so much.
