London Restaurants within a 5 minute walk of Sheppards Bush Station | Ratings, Reviews & Maps

While in theory, this has the same star rating as ibis at Custom House, it is more akin to the budget hotel in Whitechapel. The room itself is bare-bones and very dated - lino floor, wobbly chair and limited electrical sockets (far from bed). On request, I was able to get a broken ironing board and an iron which would only stay on in 10-15 second blasts. No coffee making facilities - only a small electric kettle and some tea bags. On that, the kettle when filled suds up, and became clear it had been filled with so much soap I wasn't able to fully clear it out for use. The AC system does not work properly - it's a fan that blows loudly. Very noisy too - people coming and going, slamming doors and making a lot of noise in the hallway at all hours. Curtain's also don't fully close - light from the street spills into the room all night. Hair and dust was found throughout the room - very poorly cleaned, and found myself going around with antibacterial wipes before touching anything. During my stay, the room wasn't cleaned nor towels refreshed, despite requesting. Unless you pay for breakfast, you don't have access to the cafe in the morning to purchase coffee. As a coeliac, it wasn't worth paying for breakfast as it would have amounted to an overpriced coffee. The only plus is that it's very close to Shepherd's Bush station/shopping centre, if that is a priority.

The location is great, two train stations nearby. Easy to go to the city. You would not spend much time in the hotel anyway. Westfield shopping centre around the corner. Breakfast was good enough, the same every day but I am easy with food. There is no fridge in the room. Nice to have.

I stayed for a week at Ibis Shepherd’s Bush and I can only share an excellent experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Nicola, who was extremely professional, kind and always available to help with anything I needed during my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the location of the hotel is perfect to get around London easily, and the overall atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. A big thank you to all the staff — and especially to Nicola — for making my stay so enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service and a genuinely welcoming environment.

Only just checked in and already loving it. Receptionist was was very friendly and helpful. Room is clean, neat and tidy and was ready before 3pm. Hot water for a shower, toiletries provided. And the location is excellent. Everything you could want on your doorstep. Excellent base for a few days in London whatever you're doing.

Great location - close to public transport, restaurants and shops. Good wifi, good soundproofing. I would definitely stay here again. Could do with a small fridge in the room.

Awesome food, great vibes! I came here with friends for the big game, and we had an amazing time. The burgers were juicy, the beer was ice-cold, and the energy was electric. You can tell the staff really care about creating a fun experience. Can’t wait to come back next weekend!

Very friendly staff. Louis and Avaran were very accommodating and helped make a welcoming atmosphere. Just arrived i a hostel and both of the guyes were extremely helpful with my booking. They showed me a room and the common area. Also helped me with the door key, ofered me a complimentary soft drink, explained all the deals. Good job dudes!!

Had a wonderful experience staying tonight at St Christopher’s! The receptionists Reece, Rylee and Ashley helped me out a lot and were very kind, the hostel hosted a great atmosphere and it had daily events! Tonight was a Pizza Making Class, we made a delicious Veggie Pizza, it was delicious and a very good experience, would recommend and stay again!

We went for a quick lunch and found this place with the owner and my colleague was allergic to few things and the owner explained ingredients in each and calmly helped her with finalising the stuff. The food was great while we were sitting there someone came looking for the shop as they have changed name so that tells the food must be good and it was If you are in the area it’s a good place run by good people and food was yum… Highly recommend

Me and my friend visited La crema yesterday night for a quick dinner, although the restaurant was quite clean and the atmosphere was good enough, I found it was a bit too pricey for a shawarma warp, the taste was fine an a little expensive to be real, but overall enjoyed it... 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had the chicken donor and it looked amazing and a bit too much for 1 person. The salad was good, chips and pita bread were alright however the chicken felt a bit dry to stomach and although I asked for a little spicy, didn’t felt like there was any.

The food here is so tasty and in big portions as well. The Flora tea is worth a try if you like tea like me . I was served by Madalina and Meher and they even sang for me for my birthday. They are very lovely ladies always smiling and eager to help. I’m glad to have found this gem

Shocking! The food was ok but service was slow and not great. They had new starters who didn’t know what they were doing which is fine and understandable but the experience staff also were not great. Slow service and promise a service but then disappear - for example asking for cutlery. Had to wait like 6-7 min at entrance to be seated and nobody to greet us and they were not even busy at the time we visited. Had to walk in and look for staff. Other customers had the same issue. Another customer walked out as his food came and was wrong. Very bad experience and expected more from a place like this and the price you pay.

Very nice calm ambiance and amazing friendly staffs. Particularly Fathy the gentleman man that served us was funny and make our visit here pleasant. The price is decent compared to most places I’ve been to for afternoon tea. I enjoyed the sharing platter and would definitely visit again.

Visiting Caffè Concerto is always a genuine pleasure. Seeing Madlina and the wonderful Karim is one of the highlights of every visit. What a great experience, we have got the best spot of the day with the sun hitting us, so that created a great atmosphere. We sat on the terrace and had some snacks and drinks. Been here twice now, fantastic experience both times. Our server Julian was brilliant, quick and attentive but also all round just such a vibe; very friendly, upbeat, great humour. The tipsy horchata is just delicious, I've had the standard one and both are great (standard horchata also comes in a much larger glass) but the vanilla in the tipsy one just absolutely makes it. The tipsy version does come with rum, though it's not really enough to taste it. Good if you're like me and don't particularly enjoy things that taste alcohol, maybe a negative if you want something punchier. We got the burritos, they're just perfect honestly. Really generously filled and super juicy. They come with a small portion of nachos as a standard, and it's absolutely more than enough to fill you up. I think the star of our meal though was the dessert - it has two names on different menus so I'm not sure what to refer to it by ('warm chocolate and pecan cake' on the standard menu and 'chocolate mole cake' on the dessert menu) but either way I'd return every day of the week for this thing. Its more like a slice of the gooiest and best salted caramel, cinnamon, and pecan brownie you've ever had. The pouring cream it comes with is an absolute must. Overall incredible experience, this is definitely one of the better places to eat after shopping in Westfield, I'd honest argue its a lot better than anywhere in the foodhall inside the shopping centre.

Tried some new dishes as it’s been a while since we’ve been to Wahaca. Really tasty and flavourful all round, such as the sea bass tacos which came with interesting sides/sauces but maybe could have done with salad/salsa additionally. Great drinks! Lovely warm service from Julian who was kind towards our family with a baby. Would definitely come back again!

Absolutely lovely meal out for the family! Great great portions for the price and the favourites platter was delicious, couldn’t fault it at all! Our food came out without any waiting, and we were served by Paul who was very friendly and attentive. No complaints at all. We will be returning in the future!

Came here with a friend and had such a great time. The staff were brilliant — really friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We definitely ordered a bit too much food, but everything was so tasty it was worth it! The tacos were fresh and full of flavour (the grilled chicken & avocado one was a favourite), the beef birria torta was amazing, and the guacamole with tortilla chips was spot on. The mini margarita trio was fun to try too! Great service, tasty food, and a really nice atmosphere overall. Would definitely come back next time we’re in the area. 🌮🍸

Visited Busaba at Westfield London recently and had a pleasant overall experience. The restaurant has a really cozy atmosphere with a nice vibe — it’s lively without feeling overwhelming, making it a good spot to catch up with friends or have a relaxed meal after shopping. The service was friendly and fairly efficient, and the restaurant itself is well laid out with the communal tables giving it a social feel. The food was decent but didn’t quite stand out. The flavours were good and the dishes were nicely presented, but overall it felt a bit average compared to other Thai spots in London. Nothing was bad, it just didn’t quite have that “wow” factor. That said, the ambience and comfortable setting make it a nice place to visit, especially if you’re already in Westfield. A solid option for a casual meal with a good atmosphere.

This restaurant was definitely a big surprise in how amazing in terms of vale for money. I’m not sure if it’s just a temporary discounted menu that they have going on, but I randomly came across it and just looking at the menu, it was too good to pass up. I wasn’t expecting too much as the reviews for this place did have people saying it’s not authentic Thai which I definitely agree with. However, that being said the food was certainly more than satisfactory. I tried the pork belly dish, and wow, it is so tender and rich- props to whatever marinade they put it in. That single dish is definitely enough for one person, very filling (and only £9!), but lured by the cheap prices, I decided to order a sweet and sour ma muang as well as their spring rolls which were decent tasting. Overall, can’t complain about the food and the service was simple, straightforward, and well-paced.

To start with, the ambiance was very good, we even got to choose our table, which was a nice touch. The food looked great as well, but the flavors didn’t quite live up to expectations. Everything felt a bit too mild for our taste, and it seems like there’s definitely room for improvement there. I understand it was towards the end of the day and service can slow down, but even then, basic attentiveness shouldn’t slip. We had to get up ourselves to find someone to order desserts, ask for the bill, and even to pay. Even if there’s just one or two tables left (we were the third last), there should still be someone keeping an eye on things. Overall, a lovely setting and promising presentation, but let down slightly by muted flavors and inconsistent service. I’d rate this place 3 out of 5 stars.

My first time at a Wagamama and great service. I got the chicken katsu curry and it was again, my first time having a katsu curry; loved the flavours. The chicken katsu was perfectly crispy and went perfectly with the curry. However, the one thing that threw me off was the rice to curry ratio. The curry was nowhere near enough to be mixed with the rice, and you’d have to pay more for extra curry. I like my rice drenched in curry to soak up all the flavours, but I quite ended up having almost plain rice by itself. I’m hoping that could be improved. The portion size was great again, the prices were also reasonable. So give the place a try.

Really loved the Gochujung pork belly ramen, ebi katsu, and the boa bun mushroom was just amazing, soft and spongy! The service was quick. Eat, pay on your phone and get out! Kind off easy!

I was going to a gig at Shephers Bush Empire and needed a quick meal before hand. It was 6pm on a Tuesday evening. Was busy but no where near full. The place holds a lot of people. Service was prompt and friendly. The food came out quickly, as always was fresh and tasty. Consistent with other branches. You know what you’re going to get. Saw a waitress amend someone’s order which looked kind of them. Good service and nice decor. Would go again if in the area.

Lovely italian restaurant on Shepherd's Bush Green. The plastic coveting put me off going to this resraurant for years but after hearing from a friend the food was good & seeing the interior I wanted to try for myself. It has a relaxed ambience which makes for easy conversation. The waitress was attentive & we enjoyed a cocktail, an apperitif & coffee. I had a shot of Limoncello which was both sweet, aromatic & not at all bitter. I then chose a Calzone which came with a side salad with dressing on it. The calzone was good, the filling hot, dough crispy. The salad was crisp & the dressing was fresh and seasoned. Topped off the meal with Tiramisu which was delicious if still a little frozen in the middle but it didn't stop me finishing it all! There was also vegetarian/meat pizza, lamb shank, spaghetti bolognaise and Tuna salad. All plates were left empty.

Wonderful meal, couldn’t fault it. Great value for where we were. We went on a rainy evening so it wasn’t too busy but they have a lovely covered area outside and a table call system if needed. The al forno pasta dishes were lovely and pizza was excellent, we had a sourdough base, delicious! The review on price includes wine and again was one of the best prices we’ve seen! Would absolutely recommend.
