Without a doubt the very best thing about this hotel is its location. Just right around the corner from the central line's Shepherd's Bush station, maybe 5 minutes away on foot, you'll find connection after connection after connection to so much of London. When you arrive from your day you won't have much walking to do either. You've also got easy access to nearby Westfield that is a marvel to walk through, with so much to offer and entertainment. You've got an O2 theater for music, the Apollo Eventim for shows, a mini mall literally right next door of the entrance to this hotel, with stores, a pharmacy, a Vue movie theater (though I recommend White City's electric cinema nearby), and so much more.
Now the rooms you'll have to be prepared for because the outlets are UK specific only, bring an adapter for your needs. There is no mini fridge, safe deposit boxes are in the lobby, and the view can be hit or miss. Outlets are also not by the beds. WiFi is great, though to access high speeds you'll have to make an account tied to the hotel. I found it no big deal. TVs are a bit dated, but serviceable, you'll get nice local showings. Instant coffee and tea is available as well. Make sure you specify a sound proof room if require one as mine could easily get TV audio from the hall.
The staff are kind, hardworking, and so helpful. Easy to approach and speak with.
If what you need is a simple home base to drop your things off so you can get out and about as much as you can, this is a great spot to make use of. A fine pick I'm happy with for my first time in the UK.
Whiskey “Veccy” V - a month ago
For the price this is a good option. Room 111 on first floor was basic but very quiet, clean with comfortable bed, soft and firm pillows, good pod shower. Warmed the room nicely on a cold night using quiet aircon. USB sockets in room. Tea/Coffee/Kettle in room, no fridge but you can get ice from the bar. Buffet breakfast was adequate for the money. Staff were very friendly and helpful, 24/7 front desk. TV with old school terrestrial channels only was low definition but OK. Parking in the W12 car park on Charecroft Way is the same tariff as Westfield - if you park at the far end of W12 car park in the uncovered area you are right next to a door that (with room key or buzzer) gets you straight to the first floor rooms. A good 3 star hotel in a great location. Would stay again.

I stayed for a week at Ibis Shepherd’s Bush and I can only share an excellent experience.
From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Nicola, who was extremely professional, kind and always available to help with anything I needed during my stay.
The room was clean and comfortable, the location of the hotel is perfect to get around London easily, and the overall atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed.
A big thank you to all the staff — and especially to Nicola — for making my stay so enjoyable.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service and a genuinely welcoming environment.

The hotel is good located, 7 stations from Oxford Circus. Supermarkets, bars and restaurants in the near. Friendly staff, clean room and bathroom, very good mattress for good sleep. The breakfast was good and suficcient, everything fresh and english breakfast available. Organic/bio tea as well.

Breakfast could be improved upon as only egg option seemed to be scrambled eggs. Staff, especially on reception very friendly, personable and professional. Staff name badges with 'preferred' genre of music was a nice touch as was the reception area that had a guitar available. I used the guitar to play and sing whilst waiting to check in which was fun and the staff enjoyed my impromptu performance, even filming me!

Awesome food, great vibes!
I came here with friends for the big game, and we had an amazing time. The burgers were juicy, the beer was ice-cold, and the energy was electric. You can tell the staff really care about creating a fun experience. Can’t wait to come back next weekend!

We booked a table for dinner and, when we arrived, the tablet was ready and the place looked great. But, while we tried to order, then we discovered that no burgers were available and no one from the staff warned us a out that on our arrival. We settled for two Ceasar Salads, pretty much the only thing available on the menu, and the staff warned us that we would had to wait 30-40 minutes to eat. We agreed because in the meantime we watched the game on TV but our wait lasted more than an hour. I understand that problems can happen, but you must warn your customers and, this time, this was too much...

Had a wonderful experience staying tonight at St Christopher’s! The receptionists Reece, Rylee and Ashley helped me out a lot and were very kind, the hostel hosted a great atmosphere and it had daily events! Tonight was a Pizza Making Class, we made a delicious Veggie Pizza, it was delicious and a very good experience, would recommend and stay again!

Me and my friend visited La crema yesterday night for a quick dinner, although the restaurant was quite clean and the atmosphere was good enough, I found it was a bit too pricey for a shawarma warp, the taste was fine an a little expensive to be real, but overall enjoyed it...

La Crema is an amazing spot! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant, perfect for a relaxing meal or a catch-up with friends. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had — highly recommended!

We went for a quick lunch and found this place with the owner and my colleague was allergic to few things and the owner explained ingredients in each and calmly helped her with finalising the stuff.
The food was great while we were sitting there someone came looking for the shop as they have changed name so that tells the food must be good and it was
If you are in the area it’s a good place run by good people and food was yum…
Highly recommend

I had the chicken donor and it looked amazing and a bit too much for 1 person. The salad was good, chips and pita bread were alright however the chicken felt a bit dry to stomach and although I asked for a little spicy, didn’t felt like there was any.

Thank you, Fathy, for the amazing service, atmosphere and cosiness. It's been a long time since I've met such friendly restaurant staff. With this kind of attitude, I want to come back again and again!
The food was very tasty, and the portions were large. The interior and New Year decorations combined with light blues in the background were magnificent!
Thank you for the atmosphere and mood!

Shocking! The food was ok but service was slow and not great. They had new starters who didn’t know what they were doing which is fine and understandable but the experience staff also were not great.
Slow service and promise a service but then disappear - for example asking for cutlery.
Had to wait like 6-7 min at entrance to be seated and nobody to greet us and they were not even busy at the time we visited. Had to walk in and look for staff. Other customers had the same issue. Another customer walked out as his food came and was wrong.
Very bad experience and expected more from a place like this and the price you pay.

This place used to be my little escape.
Back when I was going through a rough patch in my career, I’d often come here — sometimes alone, sometimes with a friend. I even celebrated my birthday here last year after a long night shift with people who made it special.
There’s just something about this place. The ambiance is so calming, elegant, and soothing. The staff have always been warm, with genuine smiles that made me feel welcome every single time.
It’s been a while since I last visited, and I noticed they’ve renovated. It looks different now — more refined — but somehow, it still feels the same. That same sense of calm. That same quiet elegance.
Even the staff member who greeted me today, Madalina — someone I hadn’t met before — had that familiar warmth and kindness that brought a wave of old, comforting memories back.
And maybe that’s the beautiful part:
This place has changed, and so have I.
We’ve both grown, evolved, and become something new — yet still true to who we were.
Different, but not lost. Just... more.
Dell - 4 months ago
When we arrived at the restaurant, I didn’t have a booking and honestly didn’t even realize a table reservation was required. I was with my family — six of us — and from the very first moment, Madalina was simply incredible.
She was genuine, kind, warm, and truly wonderful. She welcomed us with such grace, found us a very comfortable table, and took care of us the entire evening with so much attention and care. She didn’t treat us like customers — she treated us like family. It honestly felt like we were in her own home. Madalina made our night, and I can’t thank her enough. She deserves nothing but the best in life.
I also want to mention Karim, who was an absolute sweetheart — attentive, friendly, and a pleasure to be served by. And there was also another gentleman at the entrance (I unfortunately didn’t get his name) who was extremely polite and welcoming from the start.
A very special thank you to Madalina — she truly made our evening unforgettable.
I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back. Thank you all so much.

Been here twice now, fantastic experience both times. Our server Julian was brilliant, quick and attentive but also all round just such a vibe; very friendly, upbeat, great humour.
The tipsy horchata is just delicious, I've had the standard one and both are great (standard horchata also comes in a much larger glass) but the vanilla in the tipsy one just absolutely makes it. The tipsy version does come with rum, though it's not really enough to taste it. Good if you're like me and don't particularly enjoy things that taste alcohol, maybe a negative if you want something punchier.
We got the burritos, they're just perfect honestly. Really generously filled and super juicy. They come with a small portion of nachos as a standard, and it's absolutely more than enough to fill you up.
I think the star of our meal though was the dessert - it has two names on different menus so I'm not sure what to refer to it by ('warm chocolate and pecan cake' on the standard menu and 'chocolate mole cake' on the dessert menu) but either way I'd return every day of the week for this thing. Its more like a slice of the gooiest and best salted caramel, cinnamon, and pecan brownie you've ever had. The pouring cream it comes with is an absolute must.
Overall incredible experience, this is definitely one of the better places to eat after shopping in Westfield, I'd honest argue its a lot better than anywhere in the foodhall inside the shopping centre.

Came here with a friend and had such a great time. The staff were brilliant — really friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable.
We definitely ordered a bit too much food, but everything was so tasty it was worth it! The tacos were fresh and full of flavour (the grilled chicken & avocado one was a favourite), the beef birria torta was amazing, and the guacamole with tortilla chips was spot on. The mini margarita trio was fun to try too!
Great service, tasty food, and a really nice atmosphere overall. Would definitely come back next time we’re in the area. 🌮🍸

Gorgeous restaurant and amazing vibes from the staff ! My girls and I came here for our friend’s birthday and she was so happy 🥳!
The staff did their big one and gave us a chocolate birthday cheesecake 🍰 on the house. Such kind people 🤗
The food was also very delicious!! 😋 I ordered the set meal of spicy chicken 🍗 with a side of salad 🥗 , pitas 🥙 and chips 🍟 ! All that for £13.50 is amazing! As I do not eat pork, I did ask if the chef could not put my chicken where they cook their pork and the server did all that could result in that - I appreciate her a lot.
If you’re going with a bigger group, there are platters that can feed everybody, but for us we weren’t too hungry so we got our meals, I took the rest of mine away.

We had a great time at the real Greek. We booked in a big group to celebrate a birthday. Special shoutout to Christion for dealing with all our orders so well! The food was delicious with a great selection on the menu. It has a really nice atmosphere in the evening and the fairy lights and decorations tie it all together. 10/10 would recommend.

Very nice ambiance, lovely service and food was good. We ordered Souvlaki grilled pork belly and Souvlaki wrap chicken with fries, the wrap was very good, i would love if there were more sources for the Souvlaki grilled but I liked the salad with cheese which was with it, also Greek sangria & Virgin Greek mo was good.

Real Greek Restaurant
Good food but too pricey for me
The Real Greek is obviously a good quality restaurant.
However, reviews must consider the context of price in proportion to quality and service.
Baring in mind, this is the most expensive lunch I've ever had, plus a 10% service charge.
They have a lot to live up to. My review must take into consideration what I have had to pay.
Often businesses must decide wether pricing is going to be set at ‘treat’ or one-off visit price. Or at a every day price where you could pop by daily or multiple times in a week.
I dont think the Real Greek met either brief.
The food was of good quality and well cooked at a cost £65 + service charge.
Places of a similar quality have mains at £15 per person + service charge.
One may say, you get what you pay for. However, there was no major difference in service. Considering, when we arrived, there were no other customers. Therefore good service wasn't particularly challenging.
When we arrived, we were immediately given a jug of tap water. Which was a good start.
I was also impressed by the amount of authentic Greek choices.
I asked for a no carb alternative to the chips and was offered halloumi fries, which i was pleased with.
The Greek lager was nothing to write home about. It only goes to show, that just because a beer is brewed locally, it doesn't make it more interesting.
The main plate you will see in the picture cost us £50 to share. You can decide if that is good value for money.
£72 for lunch is surely a one-off and will not invite regular custom.
in Short, i really enjoyed my afternoon, but was unhappy with what I paid.

This restaurant was definitely a big surprise in how amazing in terms of vale for money. I’m not sure if it’s just a temporary discounted menu that they have going on, but I randomly came across it and just looking at the menu, it was too good to pass up.
I wasn’t expecting too much as the reviews for this place did have people saying it’s not authentic Thai which I definitely agree with. However, that being said the food was certainly more than satisfactory.
I tried the pork belly dish, and wow, it is so tender and rich- props to whatever marinade they put it in. That single dish is definitely enough for one person, very filling (and only £9!), but lured by the cheap prices, I decided to order a sweet and sour ma muang as well as their spring rolls which were decent tasting.
Overall, can’t complain about the food and the service was simple, straightforward, and well-paced.

I couldn’t fault staff attentiveness and courtesy however food isn’t really authentic. I don’t think Chef is Thai. I suggest you visit the Thai lady in Borough Market that sells authentic Thai cuisine and get some idea on how to cook thai food properly. When did pad thai became very sweet?Calamari sweet? I am just glad that the green curry and roti tasted okey. So pleased we didn’t order the sticky rice and mango as it looks disappointing looking at the pictures in the reviews, how did the sesame seeds ended up in that pudding? Fish cake tasted plasticky and rubbery?

Overall okay, but Not recommended if you are looking for an authentic Thai restaurant. Ordered Pad Thai, Mango Sticky Rice, Tom Yum Soup, Beef Brisket Curry…. I have to say, the most authentic Thai taste is in that bottle of Singha beer.

Very gorgeous place! Wasn’t packed and crowded, could speak and hear eachother perfectly ☺️!
Came here with my girls and sadly due to my allergies and intolerances, I couldn’t eat much on the menu :( the servers took this really seriously and wouldn’t budge in letting me get what I wanted anyway 😭
I only got the calamari but left hungry… since I didn’t order much, my friends didn’t want to either :( I’m glad the restaurant took my issues seriously but ahhh it’s so annoying that I couldn’t try anything. They all looked so good ☹️
The calamari was ‘alright’ - it wasn’t the BEST I’ve had. I checked reviews and many said it was to die for but I’ve had better 🫤 As for the guava drink.. GUYS from the way my friends were describing that drink 😍I wish I could’ve bought it (I had to get tea due to me being sick, was still soothing though).

Really loved the Gochujung pork belly ramen, ebi katsu, and the boa bun mushroom was just amazing, soft and spongy! The service was quick. Eat, pay on your phone and get out! Kind off easy!

My first time at a Wagamama and great service. I got the chicken katsu curry and it was again, my first time having a katsu curry; loved the flavours. The chicken katsu was perfectly crispy and went perfectly with the curry. However, the one thing that threw me off was the rice to curry ratio. The curry was nowhere near enough to be mixed with the rice, and you’d have to pay more for extra curry. I like my rice drenched in curry to soak up all the flavours, but I quite ended up having almost plain rice by itself. I’m hoping that could be improved. The portion size was great again, the prices were also reasonable. So give the place a try.

As we entered, we were welcomed and seated by Aisha (sorry if I spelt it wrong). She gave us the option to either sit outside or inside and was very polite at the same time.
We found a nice spot and was looking at the menu and wasn't sure what to eat. My wife is allergic to mushrooms but they can remove the ingredients if need be so that you can still order what you like.
Our order was taken by Alka who was the complete opposite to Aisha. We saw Aisha help a family with their order, talking to them about what they like, allergies and everything, where as Alka didn't seem to bother to give us any sort of happy vibes. It felt like we were rushed, and didn't expect such service.
Aisha was still amazing and she helped create a positive environment for us whenever she was around and helped us get through the evening.

Lovely italian restaurant on Shepherd's Bush Green. The plastic coveting put me off going to this resraurant for years but after hearing from a friend the food was good & seeing the interior I wanted to try for myself.
It has a relaxed ambience which makes for easy conversation. The waitress was attentive & we enjoyed a cocktail, an apperitif & coffee. I had a shot of Limoncello which was both sweet, aromatic & not at all bitter. I then chose a Calzone which came with a side salad with dressing on it. The calzone was good, the filling hot, dough crispy. The salad was crisp & the dressing was fresh and seasoned. Topped off the meal with Tiramisu which was delicious if still a little frozen in the middle but it didn't stop me finishing it all! There was also vegetarian/meat pizza, lamb shank, spaghetti bolognaise and Tuna salad. All plates were left empty.
