My partner took me for dinner and it was nice and welcoming and in a nice situation. The food was tasty and we enjoyed each course (bread was delicious). Sadly the servers were a little to attentive and it was a little to much.
Nice meal and nice place. I know service charge is discretionary but you feel bad taking it off and at 15% added to the bill is a lot on an expensive meal.
12.5% is still high but 15% means you pay around £20 extra on a meal for 2 people. That sadly puts me off, I won’t ask them to take it off as the service was ok overall.

What an amazing place to host a private dinner / event! I hosted a hen do here and the venue was beyond perfect, very accommodating and helpful and ultimately a brilliant space and meal! The staff were exceptional, very friendly and made the event run very smoothly- special shoutout to Andrei ahead of the event and Judy and her team on the night. If you are considering booking I would say don’t hold back - perfect restaurant!

We were in London for some business. Looked around and saw this restaurant. It was definitely a good choice. The service from when we arrived to when we left was all really fantastic. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The food was really good. Full of flavour and really well presented. We tried a few things from the menu and shared. They were all absolutely perfect. Coffee is excellent too. Service was fast, despite being very busy. All really great, thanks so much for having us!

For the 2nd time I’ve had the most fantastic experience!
Service; I was greeted by Nuria such a warm, welcoming, friendly and professional spirit. I have mobility issues and there was nothing she didn’t do to accommodate me. Poonam & Seymon also were so attentive, accommodating, professional & made me feel like family. They all did. The GM Andrey is extremely deserving of his position! There are no words for his expertise in customer service!
Food; I went back as I had a great starter of steak tartare with duck egg yolk, they didn’t have this as they are a seasonal restaurant which I really appreciated. I had salmon tartare to start, swordfish for main which was extremely succulent & finished the night with a great cheese board, I highly recommend.
Cocktails; the margaritas were flowing, very fresh & not too strong, but enough to enhance my whole experience.
I can not recommend this place enough, fantastic place, food, drinks & ambiance.
If you’re anywhere in London it’s worth the travel. Absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE 🩷✨

Held my 30th Birthday dinner here in their private garden room and it was exceptional. Perfect for a summer celebration. Service and hospitality was amazing. Patricia, our main host/server for the evening, was 10/10. Food and drink were delicious and the decor the restaurant provided was stunning and elegant.

Very slow bar service. One staff member took just under 9 minutes to make 2 coffees, while 2 queues of people waited to order. 3 other staff members just standing around, but only 1 of those came over to check if any of us wanted to order... make sure you give yourself a lot of time before the show if you are planning to eat here. There were no empty tables so i only bought fries and ended up sitting on a cushion in the book corner (I arrived 50+ minutes before the 630pm show).
Limited seating space, lots of very large tables for 4-6 people with 1 or 2 people at them (instead of multiple 2-4 people tables). Poorly designed. Saw quite a few people awkwardly holding their food as there was nowhere to sit, and the tables they did have were not equipped for multiple groups to share due to the round design.
But it's an improvement on the 1 star I gave them 8 months ago, when they were advertising food and then told me at the bar that the menus they'd put out were for future use (refurbishments had not completed yet). Ridiculous.

Nice bar and kitchen below the Royal Court theatre. It was very busy before a show so definitely book ahead. There's a really decent drinks range for every taste at usual London prices. The food, considering the limited time the kitchen is open is good, mostly plant based. I went for a few small plates (3 for £13 or so) which were a perfect pre-theatre snack between two.
The service is quick, efficient and friendly. Even if you're not visiting the theatre here it's well worth a visit as it has a great atmosphere...just check the limited opening times.
Adam - 2 years ago
Be warned - the wine they serve by the glass is from a keg. My friend complained about the odd taste. The bartender shrugged her shoulders and didn't offer a replacement. I felt obliged to buy our group a bottle... which turned out to be overpriced. This didn't feel good enough for an established theatre bar.
Clare Bloomer - a year ago
I ordered a margarita and it was very sour and tasted quite synthetic. I returned to the bar and there was not an apology nor an offer to remake it. Poor customer service and low quality of drinks.
(The manager commented on my review straight away, encouraging me to be in touch and I did indeed, and haven't heard anything from them for a week. This attitude can be considered as another evidence of poor customer service!).

Very cool pub. Had really good fish and chips.

Excellent little pub, nice choice of drinks, really friendly staff. As a northerner, it felt more like a northern pub than the usual standoffish London pub I've been in over the weekend.
The only complaint I'd give isn't the pubs fault at all, I just happened to be in there when the gobshite John McEnroe was on the TV with his usual arrogant, sanctimonious drivel. I can't and won't blame the pub for that 😂 it's June, so Wimbledon, so that sausage will be all over the TV for a few weeks until Britain remembers it doesn't actually like tennis again.
If you're reading this, John, and you seem the type to Google his own name regularly - you're a bellend.
Tldr - great pub. Give it a visit.

A delightful, simple and friendly pub offering a fine selection of beers both keg and cask. Service is bright and cheerful. The eponymous Duke is celebrated here with pictures adorning the walls and a fireplace, perhaps similar to the one whence his violin was consigned. The rest, as they say is history. A lovely pub to Pop into for a drink or two.

My favourite pub to visit when in the area. The service is great as well as the food which is reasonably priced for this neck of the woods. It also has a nice atmosphere and outside tables if the weather is good.

Great back street pub in Chelsea but could do with music on instead of TV's superb cosy spot with leather armchairs and a nice fire... if you fancy a nice buzzy pub with all that then give it a visit.

We went on a Saturday afternoon and were greeted very warmly. Amazing bread served straight away with very cute menus and plates/ cutlery. The food was served with perfect spaces between portions and had so much flavour. Stunning atmosphere and very friendly staff. Pricing also very fair! Very highly recommend!!

To start, had one of the best french onion soups ever!! Then the main course: steak and fries which was amazing! I ordered it medium (as you should ;)) and the meat was very tasty and tender
The staff welcomed us and took their time explaining the menu
Superb experience, definitely recommend!

We absolutely adored the atmosphere and soul of this French restaurant.
Firstly, our server brought a lovely basket of fresh bread and butter. For starter, I went for the Ratatouille chaud which was a beautifully flavourful, yet simple dish. I then had the rump of lamb and my friend had the steak, both had a lovely flavour but were a bit chewy unfortunately. Our other friend who had the beef bourguignon, however, and said it was perfection!
A lovely overall experience though, which makes you feel like you’ve taken a little trip to the French countryside!

Amazing french restaurant. The service was great, the waiters friendly and personable. The food was superb. The asparugus starter was a little expensive for what it was buyt the rest of the food was worth every penny. A good variety of food on the menu and wines to pair. An amazing restuarant for a treat.

The only unforgettable thing that was the highlight of my evening was the incredible foie gras with jelly, a true delight for the taste buds. The atmosphere, enhanced by gentle candlelight and indulgent touches like lush hand towels in the washroom, elevates the experience. Although the menu may seem a bit confusing initially and priced on the higher end, the exquisite flavors and ambiance make it worthwhile for any culinary enthusiast.

Beautiful decor, white marble and wood. Love the organic / sustainable ethos and that a lot of the produce comes from their farm in the Cotswolds. Everything is beautifully displayed and it makes you feel good just wandering around. The food is always good, some nice wine by the glass, good efficient and friendly service, nice selection of home wares if that’s your thing. Been coming here for years and I still enjoy a visit.

Excellent food. I had the squash tart with two salads. The only thing that meant I didn’t give 5-stars was that they lost my drinks order and needed to be chased a couple of times. Location is very pleasant.

Had a wonderful meal here for my mums birthday. Excellent service, and the food was delicious. Everyone really loved their food and mum felt very spoilt, especially when they sang happy birthday to her.
Thank you!

Great food, amazing crab salad followed by king prawn linguine! Only problem was the kitchen was very slow and the steak was overcooked to medium well instead of rare. The service was excellent though.

Possibly amongst one of the best London restaurants I have ever been to. Glorious food, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. You MUST try the gnocchi with saffron. To die for.
Portions are very generous, reasonably priced and an ideal place for a cozy winter dinner. 10/10 💯 🎯

One of a kind, must do dining experience! The most interesting thing is that there is no menu and the chefs solely rely on your preferences. The staff will continue to serve courses until you tell them that you are finished. As a vegetarian, we enjoyed over 19 courses that fit our dietary preferences, and nearly all of them were exceptionally good. There was a wide array of flavors from sweet to spicy or just unique that we thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend this restaurant and would dine here again!

Hunan is extraordinary!! Visited for my partners 30th birthday lunch and what a treat - a great place if you want to celebrate a special occasion or make someone feel extra special the staff go above and beyond.
Food impeccable. Service outstanding. Could not recommend more!
Hema Mistry - 3 months ago
I thought a ten course blind tasting menu would be something very special but frankly it wasn't. Felt like they made it on mass and put it on tables as and when.
The staff didn't really explain what the dishes were or how to eat them, it was just sort of dumped on the table at speed.
The food was all delicious and you could tell the quality but I wouldn't recommend it from an experience perspective as other places do it better.

We went for lunch there, recommended by a friend whom he had never cooked and liked the idea of no menu.
Not to worry, if there are ingredients or food that you don't like or allergy to it, the staff will look after you.
My friend has been there a few times for dinner but for lunch was his first time too. The foods are top quality. The only thing that could improve was the soup, which was served with a bamboo cup. It is quite tricky to enjoy it using a traditional chinese spoon.

I was very excited to for my visit to Hunan as they idea of not choosing the dishes you would eat was very appealing to me. It was an interesting concept and the restaurant is in a really nice part of London so the walk there was very pleasant.
It is an expensive restaurant so you expected a certain level of quality of service, and I can say that, for us, the service was exceptional. The food was also delicious and overall I had a wonderful time.
However, for the restaurant price point, the presentation was lacking. Tattered menus and poorly presented dishes that you could find at much cheaper restaurants, that was not what I was expecting. The restaurant was established in 1982 and it honestly feels like it hasn't been updated since then.
Presentation really would go a long way with this restaurant because the food is good. A little more care with the plating process and some new menus would make a world of difference here.
If you have the money and you just want a relaxing evening of minimal decision making, excellent service, and good food, then Hunan is lovely. If there was an update on the presentation, I would definitely try it again.
If you are looking to make a loved one feel special or you want to impress a client, there are better places in London, even if you want a more reserved and relaxed vibe.

Went to see this year's "Chelsea in Bloom". Was attracted by the flower decoration outside this restaurant. Got in and ordered the set menu. Enjoyed all the dishes we ordered apart from the Steak Tartare (not a fan of raw meat). Pork belly was very tender and the veg and fruit came with it was definitely a plus! The vanilla and chocolate ice-cream was also lovely👍.
Pretty good value for money, considering its location. The staff are all very nice and friendly. It is a very busy place, so a bit wait for the food and the dining table is on the small side.

I had a lovely dining experience at Côte recently. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant, perfect for a relaxing evening meal.
I started with the steak tartare, which was beautifully presented with a fresh egg yolk on top and served with slices of crusty bread. The meat was finely seasoned and incredibly flavorful – one of the best tartares I’ve had in a long time.
For the main course, I chose the seabass fillet, which came with tenderstem broccoli and a velvety, aromatic sauce. The fish was perfectly cooked with crispy skin and moist, delicate flesh. The sauce complemented it wonderfully without overpowering the dish.
A special thank you to Dominico, our server, who was attentive, kind, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. He had great menu recommendations and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal.
I highly recommend Côte for anyone looking for a delicious French-inspired meal with warm, professional service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We came here for dinner for my wifes birthday on friday evening, it was an early dinner before going to the saatchi Gallery. We really enjoyed the evening and the staff made it feel really special. As it was a Friday the pre fix menu was available. Its incredible value for the food you get. As it was my wifes birthday they brought out complimentary drinks for the whole family, which was a lovely touch. My son wanted calamari as a starter but it wasn't available on the pre fix. The manager who was superb, said it was no problem and let us swap it over. We all had the steak and chips for the main which was beautifully cooked. All the staff came over to sing happy birthday when they brought out dessert. It was a lovely evening thank you Cote for making it special.

This is just a great place to grab a bite , seating inside and out with great trade or.
The menu has a great selection of dishes. Offers Mezze plates too!
Great value for money also .
Service is efficient and staff are friendly.
The presentation of the food is good , flavours with just excite your taste buds.
Drinks wide range of drinks both authentic and modern.
My only concern was the condition of the toilets , they need attention was an unpleasant experience, especially when the weather is hot.
Overall a great find and visit whilst in Chelsea.

Great food , lovely ambience and superb staff. Ms Rinkal was very helpful in me decide what to order. The mixed grill platter had wings, lamb kofta and chicken kebabs along with salad and rice. Very tasty and filling.
The downside was the wine which wasn't chilled. I sent it back only to receive some ice to add. So I had to cancel the wine and order a cocktail which was average.
They need to get some wine chillers and chill the glasses too since the glasses seem come right off the dishwasher and are warm , bringing down the temperature of the wine.

Admittedly we arrived within an hour of closing having been to a talk at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. There weren’t that many covers, so the buzz was missing. And about halfway through our meal the staff were intent on clearing up. I get all that…
So we chose starters to share to be quick about it. Mistakenly because they were on the small side. And dwarfed by the bread.
Service was perfunctory by more than one waiter which is always bothersome.
The only sign of enthusiasm was right at the when paying the bill. He was really laying it on thick asking us to write him a favourable review.
I wish they’d put as much energy into us during our whole visit.

We have been thinking and talking to come to this place with my friend. We made it finally.
To be honest,I was little disappointed with the service and ambiance. The aura and energy of this place was really low.Staff was a bit lost and didn’t know what they were doing.
Cake was nice, coffe was ok.Toilet was a bit dirty.
It could have been better.
I will visit again .But I would like to see and get the better experience then before about this place.
