I had the most delightful afternoon tea at The Orangery, it is the best I have tried in London. The service was exceptional, the space beautiful and relaxed, and the food delicious. So pleasantly surprised and feels like a hidden gem.

Indeed the afternoon tea was lovely. The clotted cream was so good that we asked for a second helping! There were four pieces of sandwiches per person and each sandwich came with a different type of bread. They were all very good. Then there were the sweets. My favourite was the meringue tart. I could have another! The hotel itself is very discreet. Located amongst the residential area of onslow gardens, we could have easily missed it if it were not for its name - number sixteen, as it was house number sixteen. Loved the decor as it exuded an understated and calming vibe. Staff was helpful and patient. We asked to be moved from the garden to the inside and they cheerfully obliged. Highly recommend.

My husband and I only had one night here, but it was a fantastic stay. I highly recommend this hotel. The room was beautiful, and the complimentary breakfast was 5-stars. The staff also was phenomenal.

Great location in a peaceful community area very close to South Kensington tube station, museums and Kensington park. The hotel is very nicely decorated and makes you feel home straight away. The very small garden and breakfast/dinner terrace is a little jewel of serenity in the art of London. The staff is extremely nice and particularly the ladies cleaning and preparing bedrooms for the night. I would recommended to adjust the breakfast system as it can be very slow when you order “à la carte” and as a lot of guest order breakfast in the bedroom. It is a bit a waste of time when you want to get going early to visit London.

I went here for a Saturday dinner with my girlfriend. Our server Ruben was quick, friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome from the first moment. The food was delicious, the award-winning fried goat cheese is a must try for anyone in doubt!

Busy tapas-like restaurant that has the feel of a chain rather than the one-off at Boroughs Market. Tables are exceptionally close and the layout is labrynthine. That said the tables by the window are light with a great view. The menu is basic tapas fair with some nice touches here and there. Feels 10~15% overpriced for the quality. Again, mass catering rather than home-made or cheffed-with-pride fare. Saltier than I would wish, another red flag. Service was brisk and very friendly - made the visit worthwhile. Overall not a destination. A handy place if you have to be in the neighbourhood, but functional rather than great. Top tip is that the mixed platter (£30) is a light meal for 2 and with 2 other dishes would make a great supper that’s not over the top.

I booked the restaurant at the last minute, and as a first experience in London for my friends, my boyfriend and I decided to go for tapas. Incredible 🦋 always above average! Those padron peppers are unforgettable, not to mention the black squid-ink rice with octopus — MY FAVORITE. Thank you… of course I’ll be back as always 🦋🫡 The best, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Booked as part of the Fork Festival 50% offer which is an amazing deal for this very busy and trendy tapas restaurant. Our server, Lavinia, was very polite, patient and professional. She took the time to explain the dishes and guide us on how many to order etc in the midst of a VERY busy evening service. We ordered the sourdough bread, anchovies, potatoes, prawns, chicken thighs and padron peppers. Quite rustic presentation coupled with bags of flavour. The prawns were sensational. Been coming here for years and with the offers, will definitely start coming here more often. My friend paid the £100 bill which included a bottle of wine, desserts, service charge and 50% off food.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at The Pelham London. This was our second visit, and once again, everything exceeded expectations. Our early check-in was organised seamlessly, and the room was immaculate in terms of cleanliness and comfort. The staff were exceptionally courteous and attentive throughout our stay. Excellent accommodation with very comfortable bedding. Easy access to everything. Shower was a bit confusing, and while not thrilled with the surprise ‘voluntary’ bill request for staff gratuity of 15 pounds/day upon check out, they do deserve it as staff is excellent and very accommodating! However, it would have been nice to be prepared for this. Overall, highly recommend.

We really enjoyed staying here! It was a great location - close to a tube station, the Natural History museum, Kensington park, lots of shops and places to eat, and pretty streets to walk down. Our room was charming and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We stayed with our 9 month old baby and they were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

A truly luxurious hotel - we loved the design of the room we stayed in and found that everything in this hotel was of the highest quality. The staff were superb - friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food at breakfast used the best ingredients and the service was superb. If you are looking for a luxury stay in London, then the Pelham is the go to destination.

Quiet, comfortable, and convenient! The only sounds I heard in the room was the rhythmic noises from the Tube running near by that sounded like a heartbeat. Quite soothing. Everything was very clean and the tub was very needed after long days walking on cobblestones. Amazing location for food, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and the tube. Service was impeccable.

I had lunch with my dad in this restaurant yesterday and we loved it! Everything we ate was really fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the Thai Square fried rice, the broccoli with shiitake mushrooms and the prawn & chicken dumplings.

we ate here before attending the Sumo tournament in the Royal Albert Hall, the venue is very cute with additional seating upstairs. Its decor is very nice and in keeping with the restaurant. the lady who sat us was friendly. However later on through dinner a gentleman came over (owner we think) and he was so kind and welcoming! We had the set menu with a few changes, this was no trouble for them and the food was exquisite! So tasty and very generous portion sizes! 10/10 would recommend

We had a great experience at Thai Square in south Kensington. The service was friendly and efficient. We were seated right away on a Tuesday evening around 6:30. The food was excellent. We ordered the chicken Pad Thai and the Pad See Ew with prawns, and both dishes were delicious. Overall, a lovely spot for tasty Thai food with quick, welcoming service!

Small but Authentic Thai Corner in London This restaurant may be small in size, but it delivers a genuinely authentic Thai dining experience. The space is cozy, although the close proximity of tables can slightly reduce privacy. That said, the atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, making it easy to enjoy your meal at a comfortable pace. Service was attentive throughout, with friendly staff happy to explain the dishes. Prices are on the higher side, but that’s to be expected in London. If you’re a fan of Thai cuisine and are looking for flavors true to their origins, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

Polish cuisine, what more could you want? A restaurant with soul, history (established in 1947), and a unique atmosphere. A place with class and style. Places like this are becoming increasingly rare in London. Delicious food, no-nonsense service, and affordable prices. I highly recommend it.

Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Atmosphere is quite and classy. We were served by a young Polish chap who was very attentive and polite. The food is amazing. Best zurec I've ever had and also signed off by the Polish friend I went with. The portions are healthy and the prices very good. If you've never had Polish food, this feels like a great place to start. If you have had it before, have some more! Thank you!

What an absolute gem of a place. The food is fantastic, with simple, high-quality ingredients cooked beautifully. The restaurant is beautiful - I loved the aesthetic. It feels calm and welcoming without being pretentious. I had the chicken soup and dumplings. Both dishes were full of flavour and made with care.

Tiny portions, dry pork meat and huge spiderwebs in windows do not justify the premium prices of this place. £22 for 5 dumplings and tiny pieces of chewy dry pork tenderloins. If you’re looking for good Polish food in South Kensington, go to Ognisko instead - from a Polish person ;)

Food was pretty great. Though butter chicken tasted abit weird, it had a sweet pumpkin taste. Lamb curry was nice, naan and meat platter had good char and was well seasoned. Service was average nothing special. Ambience was nice with warm lighting and a clean interior. In conclusion good food at a pretty hefty price.

Overall, OK experience. Ambiance is lovely, nice warm lighting is comforting. The food was tasty but severely lacking in flavor and barely warm. We ordered butter chicken and Chana masala, the butter chicken was very disappointing. All in all, a good restaurant, but considering how many great choices there on this street alone and the price, it is disappointing.

We had such a great meal at Kahn's in Kensington. We had the tikka masala, saffron basmati rice, and naan. It was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — rich spices without being overwhelming. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere cozy and inviting. We’ll definitely be coming back soon next time we're in London!

We visited Khans in South Kensington for a family dinner and while the chicken biryani was fantastic full of flavor and perfectly spiced the rest of the meal was just okay The mixed tandoori grill had some dry bits the butter chicken was decent but forgettable and the naan was standard Service stood out though Mr Ahmed was incredibly attentive and made the experience pleasant The atmosphere was cozy but the food didnt quite justify a return trip If youre nearby and craving biryani its worth a try but overall it didnt leave a lasting impression

Highly recommend Khan’s for a fresh, delicious curry. We were sat by the window and our food arrived very quickly. I especially recommend the Paneer Adrakwala! My friend asked for extra spice and it was brought out promptly. The service was quick and efficient also- I really enjoyed my meal 😊

I can’t stress enough, please visit this fabulous restaurant. Visited in Feb after a natural history museum visit, visited yesterday after a science museum visit. We will absolutely be back! The food is simply delicious, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the service is second to none. Vaska waited on us both times and treated us so incredibly well. Furthermore, he has the amazing ability to have a laugh and joke too. Thank you all.

Second visit here… I’d go more often if I actually lived closer! On my first visit I had an Americana Pizza and a Seafood Linguine w/ tomato sauce. To my surprise this time around, the linguine wasn’t on the menu anymore! So I asked the smiley waitress if the chef could still cook that dish for me, lucky for me they still could! It was Lovely, super delicious. As for the pizza… do not sleep on the pizzas here, they’re Amazing and full of flavour! Thanks again Rocca Di Papa! See you soon!

The grilled unagi had a lightly crisp exterior with a tender, bouncy texture inside, paired with a perfectly balanced sauce!! You can immediately tell it is freshly grilled🔥 The foie gras hand roll is a must-try, and both the curry katsu chicken and sashimi were impressive as well. Great spot near the V&A! I visited Dozo after spending the afternoon at the V&A, and it turned out to be the perfect post-museum meal. Their sukiyaki is my absolute favorite – rich, comforting, and full of ingredients. The volcano roll is exactly as dramatic as it sounds – bold, flavorful, and beautifully plated. They also had a half-price promo on it this week, which made it even better. A great little find in South Kensington – especially if you want something warm and satisfying after a long museum day.

This is quite an authentic Japanese restuarant. The tempura, harmachi, soft shell crap and the Gyoza were all delicious and fresh. The taste of the beef was unforgetable. Great service overall.

One of my favorite restaurants in London to go to, usually come here every other week, particularly the South Kensington Branch, I prefer it over the Soho one. Food is always excellent, cannot fault anything, and Charlotte who serves us is so kind and nice. Relaxed and calm atmosphere, perfect for coming with my friends. Will be back soon!

Lovely quaint pub in great location with traditional/modern decor. Pub is clean and has a lovely ambience we enjoyed sitting at the window watching the world go by with a pint. Food was nice. Service a bit on the slow side especially since it wasn’t really busy but overall a good experience.

Popped in here for a bite to eat and a drink. It is a lovely pub nice and spacious inside with lots of charming features. Service was fast and friendly, I went for the London Pale Ale which was superb. I also ordered the scotch egg which far exceeded expectations it was very tasty and excellently cooked. This is a fine traditional looking pub in a lovely location, with plenty of spacious indoor seating as well as some outside seating. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and need a snack or beer

The fish and chips were fairly standard — I would’ve liked a few more chips. The pie, however, was very tasty. The atmosphere is cosy, and we had a nice, secluded spot. It wasn’t busy when we visited, making it a great place to chat with friends.

What is Sunday in England without a roast . The Zetland did it perfectly, Roast beef with pud, taters, parsnip, carrots and pickled cabbage. Great service, cold Guinness and plenty of laughs. Highly recommended
