5 Star Rating Great location in a peaceful community area very close to South Kensington tube station, museums and Kensington park. The hotel is very nicely decorated and makes you feel home straight away. The very small garden and breakfast/dinner terrace is a little jewel of serenity in the art of London. The staff is extremely nice and particularly the ladies cleaning and preparing bedrooms for the night. I would recommended to adjust the breakfast system as it can be very slow when you order “à la carte” and as a lot of guest order breakfast in the bedroom. It is a bit a waste of time when you want to get going early to visit London.

5 Star Rating Absolute 5 out of 5 in every way, and the best home away from home. Beautiful decoration that inspires and soothes you after a day in the busy city. The staff could not have been more helpful, attentive or kid-friendly with our toddler. Lovely courtyard that we can't wait to visit when the sun is shining.

2 Star Rating Went for afternoon tea. Was immediately treated like we were intruding when we entered the hotel even though we asked politely where the afternoon tea room was (we were not dressed crazy or improper and we also had a reservation). The garden was lovely and very pretty, but the service throughout was subpar with no one asking how our meal was nor could we get a refill on tea since we could not find our waiter. The tea itself was very nice and the scones were very good, but the rest was average at best. Considering this is an expensive hotel, I expected it to be more accommodating or at least friendlier.

3 Star Rating Busy tapas-like restaurant that has the feel of a chain rather than the one-off at Boroughs Market. Tables are exceptionally close and the layout is labrynthine. That said the tables by the window are light with a great view. The menu is basic tapas fair with some nice touches here and there. Feels 10~15% overpriced for the quality. Again, mass catering rather than home-made or cheffed-with-pride fare. Saltier than I would wish, another red flag. Service was brisk and very friendly - made the visit worthwhile. Overall not a destination. A handy place if you have to be in the neighbourhood, but functional rather than great. Top tip is that the mixed platter (£30) is a light meal for 2 and with 2 other dishes would make a great supper that’s not over the top.

5 Star Rating We were a party of five dining at Casa Brindisa on the evening of 20th April, and I must say, it was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we stepped through the door, the experience was seamless – and much of that is thanks to Cintia, whose service was absolutely spotless from start to finish.Cintia was attentive without being intrusive, effortlessly friendly, and clearly took genuine pride in ensuring we had a brilliant evening. Her timing was impeccable, recommendations spot-on, and she handled our table with both charm and utmost professionalism. It’s rare to come across service this consistently polished – she made us feel truly welcomed and looked after, which elevated the whole experience. The food, too, was superb – a special mention must go to the squid ink black rice, which was rich, flavourful, and beautifully balanced. Easily one of the highlights of the evening, and not to be missed. We all left in high spirits, already chatting about our next visit. And while the food and ambience were top-notch, it’s Cintia who’s the real reason we’ll be back. Staff like her are absolute gems – Casa Brindisa is lucky to have her.Highly recommended.

5 Star Rating I recently visited a charming Spanish restaurant and had an incredible dining experience, largely thanks to the excellent service provided by our waitress, Sakshi. From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. She offered great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Sakshi's warm and welcoming demeanor truly made our visit memorable. The food was fantastic, and the service, particularly from her, elevated the experience even further. Highly recommend this place, especially if you're lucky enough to have Sakshi as your server!

2 Star Rating Final review of The Pelham Hotel I’m currently staying in another five-star hotel in Knightsbridge, and now I can clearly see just how far The Pelham falls short. It felt more like a glorified youth hostel than a luxury hotel. The place needs serious changes to deserve a five-star rating. It is not pet friendly, despite claiming to be. The food is diabolical, the service is inconsistent at best, and the sound of the underground running beneath the hotel is relentless and exhausting. Worst of all, the management—particularly Ryan Dunlop—was manipulative and took no real responsibility for the appalling behaviour of his team. I’ve never been treated so poorly in a hotel, and I genuinely regret spending so much money there. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

5 Star Rating Indulge in a regal breakfast experience at The Pelham London’s King Suite, where luxury meets comfort 🇬🇧 Served in the grandeur of the suite, with its elegant décor and serene ambiance, breakfast here feels nothing short of royal 👑 A wonderfully modern twist on classic regal grandeur, The Pelham's luxurious 50 square metre King Suite cannot fail to impress. The huge, opulently furnished drawing room with floor-to-ceiling windows offers some of The Pelham's best views of South Kensington. The king-sized bedroom can be closed off for privacy, creating a separate lounge seating area. The bathroom with twin washbasins is fashioned from granite and oak. On request, the suite can be connected with the Executive Double room next door, creating a two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite, an elegant space measuring over 840 square feet.

4 Star Rating Nice location, close to the tube station. Arrived early morning and there was no sign of a doorman, so I had to lug my luggage up the front stairs all by myself. Anna at the front desk greeted me warmly and soon enough multifaceted porter Thomas came to relieved me from my suitcases. Later when I came back to properly check in, he brought them to my room, moved the beds further apart at my request and from that moment on I felt at ease. There is nothing more effective to feel welcomed, than to have a professional staff on the premises on a consistent basis. Our double room faced the main busy thoroughfare which made me fearful the traffic would keep us awake, but Thomas pointed out the double paned windows, and we never felt disturbed by outdoor noise during our stay. By double I had wrongly assumed that the each bed would be a double (American size). But they were each a twin, which was a lesson to be learned. An ample, well lit built in closet was a big plus. But as usual when one goes on a shopping trip, space is of the essence and we had to ask for some of their amenities (large tray with mugs an what nots on the table) and wingback upholstered chair to be removed as they were quite constricting. The bathroom space was immense but it could have used some shelves by the sink so we could store our toiletries. We just had to find space around the sink to place them and it just looked cramped. The one thing I suggested at the front desk is that in the winter that bathroom needs a space heater, as using it in the middle of the night, felt like entering a meat cooler. A sleep disturber if there ever was once. In contrast the elevator to the rooms is miniscule, enough for two persons only. The breakfast offerings were very limited, run of the mill and overpriced. The staff looked rushed and overwhelmed. The fresh fruit comes in a cheap, pickle glass jar that presentation wise, was a let down. Clever device that should be welcome in a diner, but a slap in the face to a customer staying at a 5 star hotel. We had also mentioned to our waitress that we would be paying in cash, but it was charged directly to our room, so we had to go upstairs to the front desk, pay cash and have the charge cancelled. Too much of a hassle and we never went back for breakfast. The common areas on the first floor were large and well appointed, with clever use of upholstery. Will only go back to The Pelham if Anna and Thomas are still working there, because it is always the way one is treated that makes the experience memorable. And they both did.

3 Star Rating I stayed here for my 5 days in London for my Honeymoon. We had never been to London before and did research and thought this would be a great choice. The hotel is in a good location, close to the tube for travel but everything else fell short. Our honeymoon was not acknowledged even though we mentioned it, and signed up for the stars rewards where there was supposed to be a fun included promotion for us on this once in a lifetime trip, we also did not receive the discount at the restaurant for the stars and the restaurant food was as bland as humanly possible. I would not include the breakfast here as it’s overpriced and bad, we did not use it everyday and they would not refund us the difference. There is better breakfast in walking distance for a half of the price. There was no view to our room, just a back ally. The bed was comfortable but that’s about as good as it gets. I am super disappointed in this hotel pick, if you go. I would definitely do research and find a hotel much cheaper, as this was absolutely not even worth half the price of our stay, and long as you’re close to a tube you’re completely fine. I am baffled to read this is a 5 star hotel, I give it 3 stars and that’s being generous because everyone was actually very nice. It fell very short of what I wanted an amazing honeymoon stay to be and was definitely not 5 star service.

2 Star Rating The food was good and tasted authentic. I especially enjoyed the papaya salad—it reminded me of the one I had in Thailand. However, I was disappointed with the service. We asked for a small bowl to help my 3-year-old son eat his fried rice more easily, but were told they don’t provide small bowls unless soup or steamed rice is ordered. We double-checked with two different staff members, so I don’t believe it was a misunderstanding. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place for families with young children.

5 Star Rating Found Daquise on a whim and honestly—it was spectacular. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Everything from the warm, attentive service to the food itself was top-notch. It was actually the first Polish restaurant we've ever been to, and it totally exceeded expectations. I had the fried cod with spinach and horseradish sauce, which was perfectly crispy and full of flavor. My husband got the tender beef special with potatoes and beetroots. For dessert, we tried the cheesecake and apple cake, and wow—freshly made and absolutely delicious. The whole place had a cozy, old-world charm that reminded me of being somewhere in Western Europe, like Germany or Amsterdam. Such a gem!

5 Star Rating This my first time in London and I heard that the Indian food was very good. As an enjoyer of Indian food I felt that this place could be a place I come back to every time I visit the city. The butter chicken and bengal fish are both curries that I loved and thoroughly recommend. The biryani was flavorful and the tandoori mixed grill gave a variety of different meats that we could try. We wanted to try another curry and our waiter recommended the Rogan Josh which we loved. The naan was also delicious and would recommend to anyone going to London!

5 Star Rating The best Indian food I’ve ever had! The lamb pasanda is incredible—rich, flavorful, and remind of my homemade curry lamb, but with an extra touch of creaminess, possibly from coconut milk? It truly elevates the dish. The Indian bread is a huge hit with the kids—they can’t get enough of it and practically wipe their plates clean with every bite! The only downside was the chicken, which was a bit dry, overcooked.Otherwise, this would be a perfect 10/10 meal!

Sadly the waitress did not hear the order properly and it came without certain extras and we did not want to waste or remake it as it was good anyways. Good portions to the price ratio. A bit too high service charge which I would understand when the restaurant is busy and everyone have to run around and be everywhere, but when there is 3 tables in the restaurant, it should not be accounted Overall a pleasant visit.

Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and need a snack or beer

5 Star Rating First time visiting and not the last. The beef roast was gorgeous. My partner who never have gravy, loved it!!! We were served by Stefan who was really lovely. We will definitely come back. I recommend.

5 Star Rating Super nice atmosphere, delicious meal, good drinks. I liked it so much that I went back the next night to try another dish - on the first night, I ate the traditional fish and ships (which here is called Atlantic Cod & Chips and has a very special touch); the next night I ordered the Beef & Raclette Cheese Shortcrust Pie (my goodness, how delicious). To drink, a good beer and an aperol. Highlight for excellent quality service

5 Star Rating I had the Fish and Chips at Zetland Restaurant, and it was excellent! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, with a light, flavorful batter. The chips were golden and crunchy, a perfect complement to the dish. The portion size was generous, and the service was friendly and efficient. A great spot for a delicious, satisfying meal—highly recommend!

5 Star Rating The food was absolutely amazing. If you are in the area and want a proper fish and chips, this is your place. Drinks were very well crafted and the sticky pudding was delightful. Stefan was our server and he was both helpful and very friendly. He was such a sweet server. Hands down a 5 star experience and worth the stop, even knowing there are so many wonderful places to visit. Add this one to your list.
