A great rooftop place. Pretty spacious place with ofcourse a great view to the St. Paul’s cathedral. Has a pretty big bar and cocktails were quite nice. Loved the overall ambience and vibe. When we went it was a rainy day, so couldn’t get super much in the backdrop, but otherwise it must have been very nice. Also have a sitting outside like lounge, so guessing in summers it must be a great hangout place. Food was quite decent too

This place brings to mind Tina Turner with her anthem 'Simply the Best.' It’s an outstanding restaurant with amazing food, impeccable service, and a fantastic location—truly faultless. The staff are incredibly welcoming and have great suggestions, showcasing their extensive knowledge. The atmosphere and ambiance are something you have to experience for yourself. And let's not forget the breathtaking view! All of this comes at a reasonable price. Going back to Ms. Turner, it's definitely, 'better than all the rest.'

The food is delicious and the potions sizes are decent. But please keep in mind that the menu is not very long, for example the options of pasta are limited.
P.S. Service charges and "optional donations" are getting out of hand (not specific to just this place)

I booked a table for 11, for a team dinner. The process was smooth from start to finish and the team were so accommodating and attentive to everything I asked for (square table, allergies, changing numbers last minute etc.).
On the night, the team looked after us quietly but attentively. The food was fresh and well‑cooked, and the wines they suggested paired nicely.
A reliable, easy option for a relaxed team dinner in the City - highly recommended!

Great food, excellent service.
I went on a monday, so it was not busy. Great mussels for the entrée, crab pasta for the main dish and chocolate mousse for dessert. All great options. Also, a short menu ensures all comes out fast and tasting good!

Great food, good service and staff is super attentive. Came here with my work colleagues. The vibe is good, relaxed and chill and they have a good setup. Little tricky to find if you haven’t been here before as the name hides under two massive trees but once you’re in, it’s great. Would highly recommend and definitely visit again.

Decent Chinese chain with all the common dishes from dumplings, noodles, bao etc. Service was excellent, the waitress was witty, attentive and happy to recommend dishes. Highlight was the beef tataki, chicken skewers, charsiu buns and the chilli dip sauce condiment

Want to have Chinese style lunch at this area, found this dim sum restaurant which nearby the cathedral! But the food not so nice and portion pretty small, dumpling also normal only! Personally will not recommend.

I recently dined at Ping Pong and, while the staff were polite, the food experience fell short of what was experienced, I ordered two mains—Char Siu Roast Pork and Sichuan Crispy Aubergine—from the Year of the Snake menu, but they arrived 15 minutes apart when they should have come together. So I ate one dish and had to ask when the second was arriving. The roast had a flavourful sauce but was not a roast at all, seemed steamed and the aubergine, though crispy, didn’t deliver the bold Sichuan flavours that Sichuan dishes usually do. It was edible but not filling which it’s should have been for £20+, so I requested that the discretionary charge be removed from the bill. The atmosphere was nice but I went at a quiet time of day.

Excellent service! Food is always delicious, it's a shame some of the older items have been taken off the menu. Definitely recommend the griddled beef gyoza and chicken xiao long bao.

My colleagues and I recently attended our Christmas meal at this establishment, and I was struck by its cool, eclectic vibe. The low lighting created a cozy ambiance, though it prompted me to use my cane. The decor was an intriguing blend of traditional Asian elements and modern touches, and there was even a robot serving customers, which added a unique and futuristic twist to the experience.
For my meal, I ordered the Honey Chilli Chicken rice bowl and the pork bao buns. The Honey Chilli Chicken was delicious, but I found it leaned more towards sweetness than spiciness. A touch more heat would have elevated the dish to another level. In contrast, the pork bao buns were absolutely delightful—precisely what I had hoped for in both flavor and texture.
The service was impressively quick and efficient, aided by the use of paper menus for ordering. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the location near St. Paul’s Cathedral.
I would gladly return, this time with my wife, as I’m eager to try their chicken and black truffle gyozas, which, unfortunately, were unavailable during our visit. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience that I look forward to revisiting.

Apart from the perfect location, the standard of food was truly outstanding. A great ambience - very relaxing in addition to the excellent service from all the staff.
This restaurant is a perfect place for lunch or dinner and the prices for this part of London are extremely reasonable.

Service with a smile, regular check-ins ensuring we were okay and enjoying our meal. Our preference for a different fruit with our crepe was happily met. The food was beyond expectation, flavourful, simply delicious. It's a busy restaurant but does not feel crowded and uncomfortable.

We dined here for an anniversary meal. My partner being French, loves a good brasserie…
Very polite staff and we were allowed to choose where we could sit.
It was busy but not rammed.
My partner opted for their set menu, reasonably priced and with good choices on it from main menu.
I opted for my favourite starter Chicken Liver parfait. It was very good.
My partners onion soup was almost a full meal (see photo) Very well flavoured.
Main courses were rib-eye and Minute steak. Both up to par. Remember a minute steak is always small…
The only issue was when my partner chose her cheeses for the mini cheeseboard they delivered two she had chosen and then Cantal instead of Comte.. the waitress didn’t/couldn’t understand the issue and the manager had difficulty too!
I explained that I was a cheesemonger and my partner is French! Only then did she concede we may be right.
I suspect the kitchen had run out of Comte and they rely on people not knowing the difference! 🤓
Apart from this we had a lovely, relaxed and enjoyable evening and I felt it was well priced for what we had.
This being modern London we didn’t see a single French member of staff (the cheese issue would have been simply solved) but hey, maybe the staff learnt a little about cheese

Truly disappointed with the service, spent 1-ish hour waiting and food is not served. In the end, we have to cancel the food order and leave the restaurant. Horrible!

I want to tell my experience eating at this place. The staff named Julio and Gaetano were very friendly when welcoming our arrival. I went there for my Husband's birthday so when I made an online reservation from the website I made a note if I could please write on paper "Happy Birthday Daddy" and when I arrived I was surprised they gave me a card which usually in other restaurants they didn't even fulfill my request. I really appreciate them. They already prepare the table and put the card in the table before we came
I heard them say, before they came to work they stopped by to buy the card. For some people a card is a small thing but for us it is something that really care about customers. I hope all staff in restaurants have good character like you both. I really recommended this restaurant, the food is very nice the lobster very juicy. My Son like the mac and cheese, lobster and the croquette and because the staff is very kind make us want to come back again. Thank you to Gaetano and Julio.

Burger & Lobster combo plates are hard to beat! Enjoyed the beef ribs more than the baked oysters which were tiny after being cooked.
One of the few places that had last minute reservations on a Friday night. Many reservation slots available but place was pretty packed.
Service was friendly and ambience was cozy. B&L never disappoints.

Nice setting. The host was very very chatty could place a word but was funny at the same time. The lobster 🦞 roll was delicious, would have preferred that it was served warm. Toilet was quite messy and wet.

I recently had dinner here with a few colleagues, and while the food was a bit of a mixed experience, the service left much to be desired. Our waitress seemed uninterested and quite grumpy, which put a damper on the overall atmosphere. That being said, the rest of the experience was fine.
I personally enjoyed the scallop and pasta dishes I ordered—both were delicious and well-prepared. However, my colleagues weren’t as lucky. They found their meals underwhelming and the portions were so large that it became more of a chore to finish than an enjoyable meal. So, while my dishes hit the mark, the inconsistency in both service and food quality left some room for improvement.

Second outdoor dining experience since lockdown easing. So grateful to be able to drink a pint of peroni with some friends. The food is delicious and service excellent, especially with one of the managers who was super friendly. Service speed is also pretty good. Location is in the alley so not ideal but works, sadly it was quite cold as not enough heaters to go round. Also, we asked for a beer from two different waiters for a friend, and although the 5th beer ever came we were charged. Nevertheless, the super friendly manager came to the rescue. A three course with a beer, and a bottle of malbec between 4 came to almost £60, definitely not cheap but probably reasonable with the alcohol. (PS sorry for the bad looking second photo, was too hungry and forgot to take the photo first)

Been here for lunch, it was a great sunny day. The portion and the taste of the food was just appropriate. But service wasn’t great. I asked for something and it has never came to the table. While location is good but those chime of bells from the nearby cathedrals were too loud. It has been chiming all the way since I sat down on the table and continued while I was leaving 😀. Very noisy place.

Food quality excellent.
The service was very attentive.
Don't expect a "quiet" conversation as this restaurant and cafe have "enthusiastic patrons."
The Meze all-day platter was a great example of the quality of the food. A good share plate as a starter OR for 1 person as their Maine.
The hummus with lamb was a great add-on. (Dip an olive into their hummus and you can be transported to the Mediterranean coast).
There is a more casual Cafe side and a more traditional restaurant side. Our experience was in the Cafe.
The picture attached of St. Paul's Cathedral is from next to the patio of the Cafe side.

Food has been tasty every time I've been but not necessarily outstanding when compared with other Turkish restaurants. The service on my last visit was great, our server really looked after us and seemed very fun! Good selection of dishes, a lot quite healthy and fresh. The ambience in the area in front of the doors is nice but being seated near the kitchen recently it feels darker and more canteen like.

This place is absolutely class act - the feel of the place was just upscale and comfortable. Golden lights gave off an ambiance of style.
I've never eaten Turkish food before, so I had a little trouble reading the fine print (as I'm old). But the menu was laid out in an organized way, with just the right amount of options.
The food came quickly and the colors, aromas, portions were all just what I wanted.
Derek Lowe - 6 months ago
The taste of the food was quite good. The soup was quite tasty. However, in Turkish restaurants it is expected to have the tea served free. However, they overcharged us for that, which costed 3.5 per tea. They also charged us for bread, cutlery and table clothe that did not even exist on the table. So, even though the food was great, I will never go there again.

Sadly not the best experience.
Food is expensive for its quality/taste and service could be better.
Note - The festive menu has not been designed for dietary requirements and prices for vegetarian options on the festive menu are double the price when compared to the same dishes on the normal lunch menu!
We came during a busy lunch time so service was very slow. Some dishes came so late that others in our party had already finished eating.
Main portions were good, but sides and starters are very small for their price (e.g. small bowl of chips for £5).
The location is good, but I wouldn't return unfortunately.

Note, I'm rating this place as a restaurant ona Friday at 1pm. NOT AS A BAR! The drinks menu is huge with a lot of variety.
The food was mediocre. Not bad. But not amazing.
The roasted salmon was dry. No sauce.
The salmon fishcakes were pretty good with a tasty sauce. No sides though.

For the first time in the history of visiting Paul UK, I experienced a good service by the assistant manager on the afternoon of the 2nd of Jan 2025. Usually their food is great but their staff and management is always rude AF. Unbelievable service but today I was pleasantly surprised rather shocked as how nice and normal the manager was.. even gave me a free cake for a mistaken order by another staff member. Thanks nice human!

Dropped in for a snack before touring around the city. The hot chocolate was very reminiscent of the thick hot chocolate we've had in Paris. Delicious.
Indoor seating upstairs next to a single WC. Outdoor seating was generous.

It is 5* for the pastries and coffee. Some amazingly delicious sweets. Best I ate in London. However, the attitude from the servers is unexcusable. The way they treat the customers is like doing them a favor . Very condescending from behind the cashier counter. There is a lot of room for improvement there

It was one of our favourite restaurants whilst visiting London. We were taken to our seats where we ordered our food and drinks, which came out soon after. Absolutely no complaints about any of our food. The French onion soup tasted amazing. We especially loved the French decor and ambience of the dining room. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented. We can highly recommend eating here.

We had a lovely experience at Café Rouge – St Paul. The butternut squash and lentil wellington was hearty and full of flavour, and the tomato & basil soup was comforting and delicious. The star of the meal was definitely the garlic mushrooms – absolutely loved them! The cozy ambiance and friendly service made it even better. Would definitely go back!

I had the Chicken Baguette and the quality control was not the greatest in comparison to one’s first experience in a previous branch in Holborn some time ago which no longer exists. My colleague was craving a chicken baguette and I recommended the Cafe Rogue chicken baguette based off one’s past experience which was good and we decided to try it in a different branch together and one was devastated. The baguette was extremely hard, I mean a teeth breaker and the chicken was really dry. Fries were decent. Nothing special I do not plan on visiting it again.

Me and a friend went here for a brunch high tea, and it was soooo good!!!! Got the loveliest pastries and we could order any hot drink with it which is nice for those who love coffee or hot chocolate more than tea!! It wasn’t expensive in comparison to other afternoon teas in London so if you’re looking for something cheaper I would recommend!! Around 20 euros pp. Kind staff as well, they check on you regularly for drinks but don’t come around too often which I personally prefer. Another plus point, you have an amazing view of St Paul’s from the side windows!!

✅I’ve decided to skip the set meal to avoid food wastage again. The portion of food here is huge.😅
✳️Besides the tasty and lightly grilled sea bass, the baby potato is very good too!
❇️I’m also impressed that in every restaurant we dine in, the crew will check if anyone of us has food allergies. That’s a very thoughtful checkin with the diners.
Happy New Year, every buddy. May all our wishes come true in 2025! 🥰
