Ugh, I hate to give bad reviews but the dining part of Madison really is a place to avoid: airline quality food, tourist prices, pretentious service, and overly loud music.
As a rooftop bar it's almost ok, but the one attraction (the sunset view of St Pauls) is also it's curse since it gets ridiculously crowded and the direct low angle sun can be overwhelming.

Had a really enjoyable lunch at Madison. Service was attentive throughout, and I was lucky enough to get a table with a spectacular view of St Paul’s. I needed to step inside to take a work call, and the team were brilliant in quickly finding me another spot without any fuss. The food was absolutely delicious, and the whole experience felt effortless and welcoming. Would happily return.

Great food, excellent service.
I went on a monday, so it was not busy. Great mussels for the entrée, crab pasta for the main dish and chocolate mousse for dessert. All great options. Also, a short menu ensures all comes out fast and tasting good!

Had not been for some time, so decided to host a business lunch here. The service remains good enough, but the atmosphere was lacking and the food very underwhelming. Looks like cost management driven by new taxes has taken it's toll, which is a shame.

The food is delicious and the potions sizes are decent. But please keep in mind that the menu is not very long, for example the options of pasta are limited.
P.S. Service charges and "optional donations" are getting out of hand (not specific to just this place)

My husband and I had our wedding dinner in the conservatory, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The space looked beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious and complimented by all our guests, and the staff were incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the evening.
We were also pleasantly surprised by how lovely the courtyard area was — it added a really special touch.
It was a truly memorable evening, and we’re so grateful for the care and effort that went into making it perfect. We’d highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for an exceptional private dining experience in Chelsea.
It is the perfect location after a Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding. We don’t have our pictures yet but the room looked amazing.

Went in for breakfast/brunch at about 1045ish, and once seated took approx 20mins for the waiter to come and take our order (the same waiter that sat is, but didn't take any drinks order until the food order later). The chap appeared to be on his own, and was doing his best. The restaurant was not too busy, perhaps 4-5 tables occupied. Eventually some other staff appeared and service started to speed up. The staff in general were incredibly loud as though they were slamming cups and saucers down, friendly but loud.
The order placed was for their Mushroom 'Croque'. The picture from the menu (see attached) looked marvellous, however what came was a very burnt, soggy mess with what looked like tinned mushrooms and a sprinkling of cheese on top. No cheese sauce, no gooey centre. The top slice was very burnt and the bottom underdone to the point of almost being bread (again see the pics).
Would absolutely recommend against dining here and go to McDonald's over the road. Will be cheaper, cooked, and probably faster.

Came for the French onion soup, stayed for the warm service by Ana. Made a reservation without knowing about the free-flow sauces and frites, so that was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, they weren’t true to their word on the sauces (we were only allowed two, and I did ask politely!), but Ana came through with two helpings of piping hot frites after our first serving. She didn’t make us feel embarrassed for asking at all. She was speedy, communicative, has great memory for orders and always served with a bright smile. We wouldn’t have made plans to come back if not for her.

We walked in and were seated very quickly, which was a great start. On a rainy day, the soups really hit the spot—especially the onion soup and the corn truffle soup, both of which were delicious.
The service overall was excellent—attentive and friendly. While the main courses took a little time to arrive, it wasn’t a big issue, and the quality made it worth the wait. Prices were very reasonable for the experience and quality of food.
Definitely a cozy and satisfying place to stop by, especially on a chilly day.

Yesterday We had a amazing dinner with my friends we had big group and the downstairs area was extremely busy but the food and service were still excellent. There was the only one waitress handling everything and she did an absolutely amazing job. She was looking after everyone with so much patience and checking in to make sure everything was fine. Despite how busy it was she stayed calm, friendly and attentive the entire time. You can really see how hardworking and dedicated she is. Thank you so much Niruta for making our experience enjoyable truly outstanding service . Cant wait to come back again . You did amazing service 👏🏻

The problem with my family is that we eat quickly and tend not to take the time to enjoy the atmosphere of a restaurant or the quality of the food.
It was my eldest's 15th birthday and, no, we didn't do anything different. But we did point out the fact that the service was swift, very professional, friendly and understanding.
We also enjoyed the food immensely, half the party having lobster, whilst the other two had different burgers. All the plates were finished (lobster casings aside) and we actually said how nice the restaurant was.

My experience at Burger & Lobster was simply unforgettable. I started with a burger that was perfectly cooked, incredibly juicy, and with an ideal balance of flavors and textures.
The lobster croquettes were absolutely insane, crispy on the outside, yet rich, creamy, and packed with flavor on the inside. It’s the kind of dish that stays on your mind long after the meal is over.
I also got to try the lobster roll, and it was just as impressive. The lobster was succulent, fresh, and full of authentic flavor, exactly what you hope for, but rarely find done this well.
And I almost forgot the lobster mac & cheese was incredibly good as well. Rich, comforting, and perfectly indulgent, with generous pieces of lobster that took it to another level.
Overall, an outstanding dining experience. If you’re in London, this place is an absolute must-visit!

This is my favourite Burger & Lobster in London! We've been to many of the locations around the city, but the food and service are just the best at this one. It's less busy on the weekends at this location, which is actually perfect. We brought our family here for our dad's birthday. Our server, Max, was always very friendly and helpful (he was also very patient every time we asked him to help us take photos haha). The manager, Gaetano, also came to check on us often, very thoughtful service, and was very pleasant to speak with. You can really tell when people actually enjoy their customer-facing roles, and it really makes the entire experience so much better. And of course the food - everything was delicious! Highly recommend this specific location, especially for any special occasions :) You'll be taken care of very well!

Now for many years this was my go to lunch spot in the City. Good family run Italian restaurant that was always busy and fun. Went back for lunch today hoping for more of the same. Sadly the old MD is no longer working there and it was largely empty. The staff were still friendly but sadly the food was poor.
My starter of calamari was cool when it arrived and the batter was soft with oil oozing out when I cut into it. No seasoning and just 5 thin strips of calamari for £13.50...honestly?
I was hoping this was a one off but my old favourite of lobster ravioli arrived under what can only be described as a red gloop with some cherry tomatoes floating in it. The ravioli themselves were small, overcooked and largely tasteless.
All in all a real disappointment after really looking forward to my return trip. The staff were fun and friendly but I suspect the chef has changed or I just got unlucky. Shame and I hope they turn it around.

Had an amazing lunch here with my boyfriend. We have traveled Italy a lot and I have to say this place is the real deal. The food is authentic (and absolutely delicious!) and so is the atmosphere. We had the pleasure of meeting the manager Manuel (who I believe is also Italian and just gives the place an even more authentic feel) and he checked on us and our meal, he was really friendly. We had a great service and experience there and we will definitely be back!

Delicious Italian food and a good wine selection. The staff know their menu and provide excellent guidance for the unsure (like myself).
The portions are generous and we were full after 1 main and a side each.
Taberna Etrusca is a venue off a quieter side street but it's well worth a visit.
Summary: Good atmosphere - good food!

We had dinner at Haz restaurant in London as part of a large group with the group menu. The food was good overall, though nothing particularly outstanding — just solid and enjoyable. The service was very efficient, especially considering the size of the group, and everything moved smoothly throughout the evening. The atmosphere is decent as well, though the restaurant is quite large and lacks a bit of character. That said, it’s definitely a suitable and convenient option for large groups and business dinners.

Atmosphere was nice, it wasn’t too busy probably due to the tube strikes so our group could converse easily without raising their voices.
The service was professional and quick. And the food came out quickly. I ordered the 2 course menu for £26pp and had hummus and chicken tagine. Both were very good.
Also had a side of tabbouleh which was super nice and refreshing.
Highly recommend for casual dining in the city

We recently celebrated my colleague's 50th birthday and his incredible 25-year milestone at Rathbones, and Marco and his team made it an evening to remember.
From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, professional, and attentive. Marco was the perfect host, ensuring everything ran seamlessly and making us feel genuinely welcome throughout the event.
The selection of canapés was outstanding – beautifully presented, delicious, and enjoyed by every guest. The quality and attention to detail were evident in every bite, and the food was a real talking point throughout the evening.
The venue itself provided the perfect setting for such a special celebration, with a fantastic atmosphere that struck just the right balance between elegance and comfort.
A heartfelt thank you to Marco and the entire team for helping make such an important occasion so memorable. Your exceptional hospitality, attention to detail and dedication did not go unnoticed. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a more enjoyable experience, and we would highly recommend you to anyone looking to host a special event.
A truly well-deserved five stars!

Last night I visited with a friend Dion Bar & Restaurant in London and had the absolute pleasure of being served by Erika. I felt compelled to write this review because the level of care and professionalism we received from her was truly exceptional.
From the moment we arrived, Erika made us feel welcome and valued. She was warm, attentive and genuinely kind, with a natural ability to anticipate what we needed before we even had to ask. Her manner was both polished and sincere, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and heartfelt hospitality.
What stood out most was how she went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was special. Nothing was too much trouble. She checked in at all the right moments, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made us feel completely at ease throughout the evening. It is rare to encounter such a high standard of customer service delivered with such grace and authenticity.
Erika is a real asset to Dion Bar & Restaurant, and thanks to her, our visit was not just a meal but a memorable experience. We will most certainly be returning.
Thank you, Erika, for your kindness, care and outstanding service. Marianela

First when we arrived was very nice. Yet later extremly crowded and very loud. Barely any chance to get through. The toilets are awful. Very small and not the cleanest. Could wash my hand while on the toilet everything cramped. Locations Is amazing. Yet could use a lot of improvement.

We stopped here for drinks before visiting the Ivy Asia restaurant. A great bar, lovely inside. We received excellent service at our table by a very friendly lady called Erika. from Lithuania. I opted for a draught Moretti beer, my wife had red wine. A small optional service charge was added to our bill. Will definitely visit again if we are in the St Paul's area. I always have a wonderful experience at PAUL. The cakes, pastries, and desserts are consistently excellent. Fresh, beautifully made, and full of flavor every time I visit.
What truly makes this café stand out, though, is the exceptional customer service. Mohammed and Antonio always go above and beyond to make sure I feel welcome and looked after. Their friendliness and attention to detail genuinely make each visit special and keep me coming back.
I highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area and looking a taste of France with some quality treats paired with outstanding service!

Food was very good. I’ve never had a bad pastry at a Paul, no matter where in the world. Only four stars because the coffee is bitter. I think I’m too fussy.
The service loses a star because of the heating. Too hot for people dressed for walking around on a cold day.
The staff were lovely, efficient and stand-offish, just as you expect from the French. I’d be disappointed if they smiled.
Atmosphere was lovely. French music playing, rustic decor, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I would have sat outside if it wasn’t raining.

Chain coffee shop with pastries, salads , sandwiches and coffees. Food looks ok, coffee is a bit weak (my cappuccino is more of a latté with way too much milk). Conveniently located across from st Paul’s cathedral. Quite small inside with a tiny single toilet in the top floor.

Had a lovely time at Leo's Bar in the Leonardo Royal Hotel St Paul's. A special mention to the Hot Honey cocktails, which were absolutely delicious. Such a unique combination and definitely something different from the usual drinks menu. They were perfectly balanced and quickly became our favourites of the evening. Rucoletta is a fantastic little Italian spot tucked just behind St Paul’s Cathedral. I went in without much expectation and left genuinely impressed. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff are super friendly and attentive.
I had a prawn pasta dish (can’t remember the exact name!) — it came with giant, juicy prawns in a beautifully balanced, light sauce. The pasta was perfectly cooked and soaked up the flavours so well. You could tell the ingredients were really fresh. It was one of those dishes you don’t want to end.
The service was quick even though the place was quite busy. The warm bread with olive oil they bring out is a nice touch, and overall, the prices are very fair for central London — especially for the quality you’re getting.
It’s one of those rare places that feels like a local secret. No gimmicks, just really good food and genuine hospitality. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving proper Italian!

If you are looking for fresh and yummy south italian food by Napolitan‘s, then you are just right here. The fresh Linguini with the perfect tomato sauce and the delicious polpettine (meatballs) were stunningly good. The bread was assume too. The nice white table cloths and setting in the upper Floor was very nice and uplifting the atmosphere as the ceiling windows and side windows needed some cleaning or nice curtains ☺️.

I recently discovered this restaurant. The experience was great from start to finish. The food was both authentic and well prepared, with the pasta cooked to perfection.
It is increasingly difficult to find truly authentic Italian cuisine in London, as many establishments attempt to overcomplicate traditional dishes and lose sight of the fundamentals. Rucoletta, however, delivers exactly what one hopes for - simple, high-quality Italian food executed exceptionally well. The pasta in particular was outstanding: elegant, balanced, and prepared with care. No unnecessary embellishments, just genuine Italian cooking done properly.
A special thank you to Alessandro and Kittu for their warm and attentive service throughout the evening. Their hospitality added greatly to the overall experience.
I would certainly return and recommend this restaurant to others.

Warm welcome, informed and fun service accompanying the authentic food. 4 of us all very much enjoyed our food. In fact, our vegetarian friend said "This is the best arrabbiata I have enjoyed in my 60yrs."
The veal was superb, subtle flavours, light breading.
The salmon piece as a main was large and done to perfection (not overcooked as it often can be).
The gluten free pasta (penne) portion was large and done very well.
When in this neighborhood again, we'll return to try some of their other options.
We sat upstairs, it's cozy, comfortable and the glass ceiling added to the ambience

I always enjoyed the food here! I had the homemade pasta with prawn, mussels, clams, etc.. The taste and texture of the pasta and sauce were amazing and the seafood was really fresh! My fiance had a medium rare steak which was cooked to perfection! The calamari and whitebait tempura were really tasty too. Shame I couldn't have dessert because I was already full! Would definitely come back again. Staff are nice. Facilities are clean.
