5 Star Rating We visit this restaurant often, on any given occasion. In fact it was the first Wahaca we tried and it is the one that made us fall in love with their food and atmosphere. Not to even mention the spectacular drinks! The service is always great, all waiting staff is incredibly helpful (they even helped our friend with the name of the song that was playing there once!) and always recommend great food that suits our taste perfectly. They are always on time, patient if you can't decide and very friendly. You feel as if you entered your local place. The food is absolutely delicious, to die for. Incredibly fresh, always made to order, portions are just enough to make you happy, though, the tasting menus can feed 3 people if you are not starving! Same can be said about drinks- they always deliver! We are specifically fans of their non-alcoholic drinks, they have the best choice we encountered in any of the restaurants. They are also as punchy as the alcoholic ones. The main plus of this place is consistency. No matter what time of the day or which day of the week we visited them, we always had the same great experience. The flavours still positively surprise us, but the service is always fantastic.

5 Star Rating We had an amazing experience in Wahaca Stratford at Westfield. The food was delicious and the service amazing. The menu is big and perfect for sharing. Nachos, tacos, quesadillas, everything was delicious. Special mention to the kids menu. Best presentation we've ever seen. Shout-out to our waiter Paula, I can't remember a place where the waiter made me feel so welcomed and comfortable.

5 Star Rating Great food and service but the tables are so weird. The toilets could be better too. The food itself is fantastic and you will get dishes which are so authenticity Mexican that you feel you are fully immersed in the culture. The wine and spices are perfectly well balanced and the spicy habereno sauces dd layers of intense depth to the red wine, especially if you choose one of the darker red wines. They are super tasty together. It is also really cheap and the QR code payment system makes it really easy to settle bills.

5 Star Rating We had a great time at Wahaca Stratford. The Nachos were crispy and cheesy, and the burritos were stuffed with beans, rice, meat and salsa. We loved the cozy and colorful atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us regularly. We would definitely come back here again and recommend it to anyone who loves Mexican food.

5 Star Rating We had a nice meal here. Large place in Westfield Stratford. In truth, it felt a little chaotic. Probably because this was on a Friday evening, to be fair. Despite the chaos, we had a pleasant dinner here. Got a chicken wrap and a double chicken breast pitta. Nando’s hot sauce bringing the heat as usual. Zing zing🔥🔥🔥 Slight issue initially with the food but when we raised it with a waiter, he apologised and promptly replaced the dish with a replacement. Enjoyed the food as always. Can’t go wrong with a cheeky Nando’s, eh? 😉

5 Star Rating The food was awesome, not really vegan kind of restaurant, but it’s still great cooked and the spices is great too. The staff is very helpful, friendly and hardworking. When ordering it might take some time to get it, depending on what type of food you bought it can take longer, it will be worth the wait. The atmosphere is always lively and they have music on sometimes, it can also become full and not easy to get in. Their toilets are also clean and they are very fast in cleaning. Coming in groups can be easier with the price. Recommend to try 👍

4 Star Rating We loved the All-Star 🎳 Lanes at Westfield in Stratford. The staff at the entrance were absolutely attentive to all our arrangements, we wanted to add one to our reservation and if I had to rate them; I would give them four stars 🌟 because some of the staff were a bit miserable and had bad attitude towards younger people who were attending the bowling 🎳 alley.. Other than those staff with 'bad attitudes' 😒 the Bowling 🎳 experience was a Great!👍🏽

2 Star Rating I booked a couple of games of bowling for a Monday, expecting it to not be busy. It wasn't as busy as it would get on the weekend, but I still had to wait at least 15 minutes before I got served and given bowling shoes. There was only one person member of staff working the till and providing bowling shoes. So even though I had booked in advance, it didn't make much difference in terms of waiting when I arrived. They need to employ more staff and service was not great, could be better. Also, the gaming machines are very expensive!

3 Star Rating This place looks fresh, an open kitchen where you can see how your food is prepared. Chefs all appear to be vietnamese so you know you're getting 'authentic' or as authentic as it can be vietnamese food. I ordered a Wok Fried rice (Cơm Chiên) with chicken and dry shrimp. Those after halal, the chicken is the only halal option they have. Just be sure they're not adding alcohol and are not using the same utensils or pans from other food that is being prepared. Overall the food tasted great, the man did say at point of ordering it will be spicy and if i was sure? I said hell yea! Why not? Im asian as i come and nothing as of yet ive tasted has been too spicy! As the food arrived i could smell the dried shrimp. This may be off-putting for some but i assure you this is normal. Dried fish or shrimp will always smell quite strong so i didn't mind it. Afterall i am I bengali and dried fish (hutki) is kushboooi (amazing). The rice had a sticky texture to it which was nice, i could see a lot of chilli flakes too. Dissapointed at the amount of chicken though, i was expecting more chicken. I think i received a total of just two cubes of chicken shredded. I was still left hungry if im honest. As for the shrimps, they're so small they're almost invisible! You can't taste the shrimps but you can smell them! I did find a shrimp, take a closer look at the picture with the chicken piece. I've placed the shrimp on top of the chicken. Its almost the same size as a grain of rice that's how small they are. My food was accompanied with a small pot of spicy soy sauce which was nice. Overall the meal cost me £10.35, normal price is £11.50. Nice to see that they accept Bluelight card which i was able to use. Having looked at how appetising their soup bowls are i may have to give this place another try... a 3 out of 5 from me.

4 Star Rating The food is great and tasty and usually have good portions. I have tried several of their dishes: Red and Green Curry, Vegetable/Prawn Pad Thai, Prawn Crackers, Popcorn Shrimp, Crab Fried Rice and Thai Calamari. Their food preparation was pretty quick. They used to have a wireless call bell system which is very useful; hopefully, they will bring this back so customers won’t have to stand and wait for their order. The customer service is good and they accept Blue Light Card holders. Though some customers might be over critical with the taste; personally, I find it okay considering the price. 3 Star Rating This was my time at a Shake Shack. We order chicken burgers, fries and drinks. It was on a Friday evening at 6pm. It wasn’t busy so there was lots of seating available. The burgers feel a little small but we’re fine. The fries are good. The cheese sauce is a little plasticky. It’s definitely way more expensive for the quality of food it is. I would go to other burger chains before this one again.

3 Star Rating More expensive than a typical fast food place, but wouldn't say it's quite worth it. The crinkle cut fries with cheese sauce are nice and their burgers are okay. The lemonade is too sour and the iced tea too bitter. A lot of their tables are sticky, but the service is decent with ordering being done on a screen now. Overall I think there are better places around Westfield to have lunch or dinner, including the small burger joints outdoors.

3 Star Rating Horribly overrated burgers. They are OK, but nothing really special, I'd day below average in quality. The bun is just weird, I don't know how else to describe it - soft, soggy and weirdly sweet. Patty is nice, so the fresh tomato and salad. Badly need seasoning - salt, or any punchy sauce. Lemonade was tasty though. As for atmosphere - visited just as they opened, and all tables were sticky and disgusting filthy. Horrible experience, rather took the food outside.

3 Star Rating Visited during a busy Sunday lunchtime. Foodwise it was fine. My chicken burger was a bit dry, but everyone else enjoyed their burgers. The fries were hot and crispy and the chocolate shakes were good. Unfortunately both Five Guys and Gourmet Burger Kitchen are a short walk from Shake Shack, and both offer a better burger for the same sort of money. Atmosphere and service: This is where the restaurant falls down. As often the case with busy places, the staff want to get you through the till as quickly as possible with the minimum amount of interaction. Our server wasn't friendly or welcoming. Once we sat down we struggled to find a table that wasn't sticky to the touch. I don't know what they're doing to them when they clean them, but I'd say it isn't working. Overall it's difficult to recommend Shake Shack over the numerous other places to eat. I'm sure the service is better during quieter times, but even so you can still get a better burger elsewhere.

3 Star Rating Came here for brunch with a friend on Sunday morning. We had made a reservation prior as we always do and were surprised to see that the booking system wasn't in use despite receiving multiple emails reminding me of my booking until the day before. My friend arrived first and was told that she could go for any free 2-people table she could see and she was confused since we had made a booking. When I arrived I confronted the waiter who was taken back by my question and suggested we be seated at a table inside. We went with the eggs Florentine with spinach and the American pancakes with crushed berries and maple syrup butter. To be very honest the food was absolutely average. Photos looked a lot better than how they actually tasted. The pancakes were supposed to be their signature dish and to be fair they were fluffy but nothing outstanding. The amount of crushed berries given was also kind of little considering the size of the pancakes so it was a little dry to eat through them even with the maple syrup butter on the side. Eggs Florentine was very mediocre also, the muffins were quite dry although the hollandaise had a surprisingly nice garlic taste to it which upped the flavour profile a little. Americano was alright, did like that it came at a large size. Despite the initial encounter with the booking our waiter tried very hard to make our experience at the restaurant as best as he could so kudos to him - hence a 4-star instead of 3. But still, it's definitely not a place I would come back ever again. There are so many much better brunch places in East London for a lower price.

The vegan pancakes was fresh, fluffy and well paired with berries and maple syrup. You could chose between banana and berries as a topping. The French toast was topped with banana and pecan nuts. The portion of the food, and drinks was great. Service was fabulous, a waiter came to our table every 10 minutes to ask if we were okay. Overall a great brunch spot!

3 Star Rating Fancying a cheeky all-day breakfast to kick-start the New Year, my partner and I visited Balans for the first time today. While the quality of the food (e.g. taste and presentation) were good overall, the service (e.g. time to be served and receive our food order) was hugely unacceptable for any establishment - especially, one located in a popular hot-spot such as Stratford Westfield. Unfortunately, we were left to wait 20 minutes until simply being asked what we would like to drink, and a further 10 minutes until our food order was taken (all the while, staff attended to other tables, or walked around seemingly aimless and avoidant). An additional 17 minutes later, we finally received our order in full, and were able to enjoy what was actually a nice meal, which included the Full English and a side of Two Pancakes and Berries. I hope that staff will consider the above feedback as a means to further improve their overall services - with this only, I would happily recommend Balans.

5 Star Rating Great place to eat. Front of house is one of the best in the business! Would definitely go back. Slightly more expensive than other places close by but the food is very good. Would recommend the salmon salad to start as the size of it was very big for a starter. The cheese cake for dessert was definitely the best as I have tried them all! Plenty of different choices on the mains depending on what you fancy that day. Would recommend. On a Friday or Saturday there is normally live music you can listen too when eating which makes the experience better. Have to book in advance for Friday's and Saturday otherwise wait time is rather long.

3 Star Rating Located on the corner of the casino floor in its own area which offers a break from the hustle. The layout is open with lots of booth style dining which is perfect for socialising. I've visited here a few times and whilst the service and presentation has got a lot better the food standard for the price sadly hasn't improved, it's just all very... average. I ordered the lamb rack which was very flavoursome however each lamb piece was a 1/3 fat. For a non member price of £30 (members £22.50) it is a bit steep. I'm not saying the price should be dropped here but the quality of ingredients should improve which would help attract more visitors.

5 Star Rating Met my daughter for a birthday meal. We had a lovely Sunday roast. Good portions and fresh vegetables. Staff were polite and attentive. Will definitely dine there again. Many thanks for a memorable day!

2 Star Rating Service was acceptable, however the food was not up to standard. Pasta dishes are over cooked and tasteless so do not order that option as you'll just end up regret it, I had to end up sending back my food to the kitchen. Ended ordering fish and chip which you think you can't go wrong with however it did went wrong as the fish had bones in it which was shocking and disappointing as I noticed too late. If your in the casino and hungry your better off popping out to get something to eat elsewhere and food was really not enjoyable. P.s check your cutlery before you start to eat as you'll be surprised.
