My daughter and I popped in for a meal on the 14th of June 2025, after visiting relatives in Forest Gate. While the service was good - the staff were attentive and efficient - we were quite disappointed with the portion sizes. My 1/4 chicken, creamy mash, and spicy rice, along with my daughter's wings, creamy mash, and garlic bread, seemed noticeably smaller than on previous visits to other Nando's restaurants. The selection of drinks were great as always, but the reduced food portions definitely impacted our overall experience.

Rafael absolutely deserves to be Employee of the Year! He’s a fantastic person and makes every visit to Nando’s feel truly special. Rafael is always smiling, incredibly helpful, and his service is consistently 100% exceptional. He goes above and beyond to ensure a brilliant dining experience. Keep up the amazing work, Rafael!

My family and I decided to go to the shopping centre and then have dinner here.
There was a bit of a queue but we didn't have to wait long. The food was very good and the waiter Rafael who served us was super friendly and very attentive, he made our night. We will be back soon and we hope to see Rafael again.

This is a very popular restaurant. It’s very big and it was full house. It’s very relaxed. Like Wetherspoon, you order and make payment in an apps.

Amazing experience.
Tried the bowling, was many shoes to use but we decided not to. Lane was clean and place was organised. Featured a mini arcade with a fun selection as well as a bar and restaurant. We had the pizza and wings and chips and pitta bread, tasty and quick.
Would deffo recommend to anyone!

I came a couple of days back during the half term and I would like to personally praise Fatima. Her service was excellent and she's very friendly as well as maintaining professionalism super surprised she's not a manager with the way she answered questions and assisted with everything. She made my kids feel welcomed and we all had fun. Seeing these bad reviews is peculiar because the day I went it was great and ran smooth! Will be returning

Great place right in the middle of a shopping centre. Great bar, it's like a pub almost! The lanes are great, and the food was more than satisfactory for what it is.

We had a lovely dinner at Cabana in Stratford. Started off with the grilled prawn tacos, which were fresh and full of flavour. For mains, we had the grilled chicken skewer and the flat iron steak—both were cooked beautifully and really satisfying.
The only downside was the cocktails, which didn’t quite hit the mark for us taste-wise. Everything else was spot on though, and we’d definitely recommend the food—just maybe skip the cocktails.

Exceptional Dining Experience
I recently dined 1st time here and I must say it was an amazing experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was warm with a beautifully designed space that made for a comfortable and enjoyable meal.
Our server, Delia, was absolutely fantastic! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Her recommendations were spot on, and she went above and beyond to make our dining experience special.
The food was simply outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection, and you could tell the ingredients were of the highest quality.
Overall, I highly recommend Cabana to anyone looking for delicious food, great ambiance, and top service. A special thank you to Delia for making our visit so enjoyable.

Really nice place with surprisingly good food.
The burgers were both well-cooked and nicely presented. The desserts were excellent—especially the burnt cheesecake. I'm not sure if it was made in-house, but it was rich, cheesy, and full of flavor.
That said, the service and cleanliness could use some attention. We noticed a cable above our table that was covered in dust, which made us a bit uncomfortable.
Overall, a good experience with great food—just needs a bit of polish on the service and cleanliness.

Overall experience was okay. The atmosphere was good with nice music being played (80s to 00s). However during my time, the music volume did increase for some unknown reason. The table we sat on was sticky but do not think it is due to food, rather the quality of the table itself. The was a problem with flies buzzing around. Maybe it was due to use sitting under the red sign l. I did not see a bug zapper installed anywhere. Maybe that could be some thing the restaurant looks into.
The food was mixed. I found it good and tasty. Some other people with me said their's were overcooked/burnt and some special enquiries were not carried out, meaning the kitchen had to cook another order. The cheeseburger was on the small side. It did say 2x 3lb patties and they really were small. Maybe combining them to 1x 6lb would have looked better.
The service was really good. Friendly staff and an apology from them on behave of the wrong order, with that particular order being taken off the bill. The ladies on service (I believe one was named Jessica) came over a couple of times to make sure that things were okay.

We walked in without a booking and they found us a lovely table away from children (school holidays). The staff are all incredibly friendly and efficient. They had some great deals. We had the feasting menu (pictured), which was probably a little too much for two averaged sized people, it didn’t leave room for a pudding.
The cocktails and mocktails are equally delicious. You don’t miss the alcohol in their cocktails.
Bathrooms have separate male, female and disabled loos, although everyone shares the sinks, ideal if you just want to wash your hands before you eat.

I think Wahaca has gradually become much more of a mainstream chain restaurant and this one is no exception.
I ate here for lunch today in a party of two and the total cost was £65 (no alcohol).
Staff were friendly and food served pretty quickly.
Everything was good apart from the cauliflower bites (greasy / old oil taste). Pork pibil and vegetarian nachos particularly good.
Hibiscus drink and mocktail both really nice.

We had a pleasant lunch here on a Saturday. We were served by Paolo who was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the beef and grilled chicken tacos, as well as the prawn small plate. The food was good, although the prawns were a bit small. Dog friendly in the outdoor area. Would come back.

I had a wonderful dining experience at the restaurant! I tried the vegetarian combo for two, and it was absolutely delicious — generous portions, rich flavors, and beautifully presented. The highlight of our visit was the impeccable service from Denisse P., who guided us with fantastic recommendations and made the experience even more enjoyable. I also tried one of the cocktails, which was refreshingly crafted and a perfect complement to the meal. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the warm hospitality!

Despite arriving during a busy lunch hour, my friend and I were seated almost immediately and greeted with the most incredible courtesy by our server Denise. The food arrived promptly after ordering and was absolutely delicious. From the sweet potato taquito to the tacos, everything tasted fresh and flavorful.
She also accommodated my friend’s many dietary restrictions to the tee and was nothing but friendly snd helpful. Couldn’t recommend highly enough for a delicious dining experience!

The service was excellent as always, the restaurant is very child friendly, the drinks are reasonably priced and I just love the reliability of knowing Pizza Express is a consistent brand we can trust. There's something for everyone there whether a child, baby, adult or vegan. Best restaurant in our area. I also appreciate that we get to add our own tip instead of these crazy 13.5% bills on service in other places. The staff are always great and a friendly face.

I recently visited Pho, a restaurant known for its Vietnamese cuisine. They offer a wide variety of dishes, which is great, but I did notice that halal options are quite limited. However, after speaking with the staff, we found out that the chicken is halal and they were accommodating enough to prepare the broth using vegetable stock upon request.
We decided to go with that option, and I have to say, the food didn’t disappoint. The broth was flavorful, light yet rich, and paired perfectly with the tender chicken and fresh herbs. It was a comforting and satisfying meal.
While I do wish they had more halal choices on the menu, the staff’s willingness to adjust the dish to suit our needs was appreciated. If you’re looking for Vietnamese food in Stratford and require halal options, it’s worth having a quick chat with the team — they seem quite flexible.
Would definitely go back to explore more of their menu!

Keep visiting because I really love the taste of steak pho and they have lovely, friendly staffs, also I live near by. The food is fast so it really fits people who is hungry or don’t want to cook.
The only one thing to suggest:
Will be great if the quality of food can be kept in a same level, bc sometimes the soup will be salty than ever, sometimes the beef is rare or well down, sometimes too much green onions on the top……if possible, but is really a lovely place though.

A large and spacious branch of Rosa’s Thai. Visited with colleagues on a Wednesday evening and lots of space available without booking. Food was pretty standard but the head waitresses / manager was clearly in a terrible mood which gave off a bad vibe. Also the fish sauce was visibly different in concentration which makes it difficult to believe that bottles are new. Will probably skip coming here next time.

While the food was undeniably enjoyable, I wouldn’t rate the service a full five stars—mainly due to the increasingly common reliance on online or screen-based ordering.
That said, the food itself was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken burger—well-seasoned, juicy, and cooked just right. The chips were a standout as well, with a delectable flavor, especially with the sauce generously drizzled on top.
But the true highlight of the meal was the pistachio milkshake. Rich, creamy, and perfectly nutty—it stole the show and left a lasting impression. A delightful way to end a satisfying lunch.

Food was amazing as always. The limited Smokey Chipotle fries was unreal, just a bit spicy. Too bad they're not a permanent menu item. Expensive, yes, but delicious. A treat every couple of months. Love it!
Only real issue it was very slow. 17 mins to get my order, and it wasn't even busy.

A fairly lively place with a pleasant atmosphere for Sunday breakfast and friendly welcoming staff.
The food (at least in my breakfast) was of very average quality: the scrambled eggs were very watery, almost liquid; the bread that was used as a base was probably either from yesterday (I don't want to claim that the restaurant bakes it themselves or not), but it was bland, not airy, and strange in consistency - one half barely dissolved, even the crumb, while the other half was quite soft - the bread resembled what is sold in the cheap segment at grocery stores; the salmon was very good and flavorful. The smoothie (lime, avocado, and greens) was decent.
Overall, I had mixed feelings about the food.

Came here as I was craving a full English breakfast and theirs looked good. And indeed it was very tasty, albeit pretty pricey. But the quality was good. The vibe is nice, very European style. There is a nice area to sit outside when it’s warm. Unfortunately when I was there it was cold and every time the door opened I was given a cold blast of air, and then for some reason they decided to keep the door open. So I left early rather than freeze. This was odd

Great place to eat. Front of house is one of the best in the business! Would definitely go back. Slightly more expensive than other places close by but the food is very good. Would recommend the salmon salad to start as the size of it was very big for a starter. The cheese cake for dessert was definitely the best as I have tried them all! Plenty of different choices on the mains depending on what you fancy that day. Would recommend.
On a Friday or Saturday there is normally live music you can listen too when eating which makes the experience better.
Have to book in advance for Friday's and Saturday otherwise wait time is rather long.

Located on the corner of the casino floor in its own area which offers a break from the hustle.
The layout is open with lots of booth style dining which is perfect for socialising.
I've visited here a few times and whilst the service and presentation has got a lot better the food standard for the price sadly hasn't improved, it's just all very... average.
I ordered the lamb rack which was very flavoursome however each lamb piece was a 1/3 fat. For a non member price of £30 (members £22.50) it is a bit steep. I'm not saying the price should be dropped here but the quality of ingredients should improve which would help attract more visitors.

Service was acceptable, however the food was not up to standard. Pasta dishes are over cooked and tasteless so do not order that option as you'll just end up regret it, I had to end up sending back my food to the kitchen. Ended ordering fish and chip which you think you can't go wrong with however it did went wrong as the fish had bones in it which was shocking and disappointing as I noticed too late. If your in the casino and hungry your better off popping out to get something to eat elsewhere and food was really not enjoyable. P.s check your cutlery before you start to eat as you'll be surprised.
