The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Lovely rooms, a unique interior when it comes to the bathroom display. They also offer a storage room to place our bags in after our checkout until our departure time and there’s no charge! 10/10 would recommend.

One of the best stays I had in London. Beautifully located hotel with amazing staff. The rooms are spacious and very clean and quiet. Good breakfast, I had dinner at the restaurant with some friend and we enjoyed it (food and atmosphere). I’ll definitely be back

The receptionist were all friendly and welcoming, especially Ola! Lovely rooms, a unique interior when it comes to the bathroom display. The room service was excellent. They also offer a storage room to place our bags in after our checkout until our departure time and there’s no charge! 10/10 would recommend. The water refill was also a new idea that I’ve never seen in other hotels.

Another great stay at this hotel, located in an iconic (and easily accessible) location by the Tower of London!
Super clean and comfortable, rooms are well-equipped, and staff were friendly, kind and helpful. Giovanni and Borac respectively helped us at check in and checkout and their friendliness made a difference in our experience. We will be back again!

Overall great experience with friendly staff, fast check-in and check-out, good room, amazing shower. I loved the refillable water bottle.
Points to improve. Nothing major, but worth noting:
- breakfast was just ok. Would appreciate more healthy options (there was no granola for example!)
- shower drain can't cope with the shower at its maximum flow
- better lighting for the work desk in the room would be much appreciated.
- two water bottles (instead of only one) would be a nice touch

Fantastic meal and drinks, super fast service, very knowledgeable regarding allergens, and and a wide variety of choices even for someone gluten and dairy sensitive. Very atmospheric and comfortable and cosy downstairs. My only question is, have you thought of expanding? We'd LOVE one in Nottingham!!!!
Hope to be back soon! Thank.you!

I really liked the atmosphere in this restaurant. The waiter just made it better. Raul was so good that we didn’t want to leave. Good recommendations, nice smile and overall the service is the best we’ve ever had! Raspberry cheesecake is a must try. Will definitely come back again!

Everything about this BBQ restaurant was absolutely outstanding — from the warm atmosphere to the incredible flavors coming off the grill. The highlight of the evening was without question the POTTED PITBOSS MEATS – full of rich, authentic BBQ flavor.
A special mention goes to Raul, our server, who made the experience even better. His explanations and recommendations were spot on, and you could tell he truly knows and loves what he’s serving. Thanks to him, we discovered the best dishes on the menu and enjoyed every bite.
If you’re a true BBQ lover, this place is a must. Everything was top quality, perfectly prepared, and served with genuine passion. I’ll definitely be back!

Proper bit of grub down at Bodeans Tower Hill, I tell ya. Food was bangin’ – cooked spot on, full of flavour, and came out nice and hot. Place had a wicked atmosphere too, lively but laid-back, perfect for a bite with the lads or the missus.
Big shout to our man Raul, the guv’nor of service. Friendly as anything, always makin’ sure our glasses were topped and plates sorted, but never hoverin’ about. Knows his stuff too – his tips on what to order were spot on.
If you’re after some top-notch barbecue and service with a smile, Bodeans Tower Hill’s the gaff. And if Raul’s lookin’ after ya, you’re laughin’.

Situated next door to Fenchurch Street station. “Traditional” food menu with fish and chips being the top seller. 5 cask ales, a wide range of wines, various craft bottled beers and ales, and a large selection of spirits. Sky Sports and BT Sports to show sports events, so can get noisy when a big game is on. Close to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.

I recommend the fish and chips — the food is good, fresh, and served quickly. The interior has the feel of a traditional English pub, which adds to the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the tables leaves something to be desired, and the restroom wasn’t in great condition either. Overall, it’s an okay place, mainly thanks to the quality of the food.

Came here to grab a bite and the fish and chips was absolutely amazing. All ingredients tasted fresh. I would definitely recommend you to come here and try their dishes 👍 congratulations to the chef!!

This brew dog pub was just round the corner from the Tower Hill one, albeit much smaller. Hardly anyone in there when we visited early Saturday afternoon, so within minutes of getting inside we had a drink and was sat down. Good selection of drinks as you would expect - was thankful to the lady working the bar who gave us a taste of one of the drinks before ordering a full pint, it swayed me to order something else!!

Hands down the best spot in towerhill area for burgers and wings! The burgers are juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection—every bite melts in your mouth. The wings are just as incredible: crispy on the outside, tender inside, and coated in sauces that hit the perfect balance of spice and flavor. The honey BBQ and spicy buffalo are must-tries! Great portion sizes, Service isn't good, one tiny girl always walking nervously and music is boring..

Came for dinner last week whilst in the area, and thoroughly enjoyed stepping outside my comfort zone a bit and trying something different! The food was great quality, and the drinks were lovely. On top of that the staff were also friendly and attentive. An item was accidentally missed off my order originally, but to be fair I’m glad it was in the end as the main was so big and filling!

My first time here. We ordered a few salad and some rice dishes. The Katsu rice dish had a huge amount of rice, too much in my opinion. It felt like the price had to be justified with a huge portion of food, but mostly rice. The taste was fine. The salads were fresh but impossible to eat without knife and fork.
The place was very noisy and reminded me most of all about a cafeteria.

Popped by with mum and it’s as good as any Wagamama with a better view, decent vegan selection and great juices and teas. But what I’m really writing was our waiter Ashok, who was absolutely amazing! Really attentive but not in an overwhelming way, such a friendly and warm person. He seemed to genuinely enjoy his job, was knowledgable about the menu, did well with my mum’s limited English, and really made a little stop for a lunch into a memory. Thanks Ashok, you’re a star!

Good food, great view.
Stopped here for a quick lunch after visiting the tower, perfect location and position to eat and while looking at the tower. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable for food allergies, the service was brilliant. Food as always quick to arrive and tastes great. Friendly buzzy vibe over lunch which meant the atmosphere was relaxed and unrushed. The service was quick and even though it was lunch time we didn't have to wait for a table.

So I think the 1 star reviews are a little unfair because it is fun with some genuinely talented performers. The MC was actually really good and an incredible singer. The food honestly is quite bad, but you can't go to something like this expecting gourmet. The turkey was a huge chunk of dense and chewy meat, idk why they don't just thinly slice it. Starter was fine, dessert was nice.
Performances started around 7:30 and ended at 9 and there were 2 ~20 minutes breaks between.
We were confused about ordering food before, because we thought we got sent a link, then were told to pre order on WhatsApp but turns out you just choose meat/ veg menu at your table.
I've been to some burlesque before, I'd say this is closer to a strip club than burlesque but there is some fun and impressive circusy type stuff.
They do add the 15% on at the end + a "cover charge" which isn't optional and is buried in t's and c's. Many people seemed surprised by this but it's all over the reviews! Felt a bit bad for the staff having to field all the questions because they were genuinely very attentive and helpful. Seems weird they wouldn't just up the price rather than adding that surprise at the end. For sure it's contributing to bad reviews. I think the guy who owns the franchise has a bit of a scammy vibe from the articles online - not paying performers over COVID and liquidating multiple companies etc.
They do give people free shots for 5 star reviews which is a little unethical! So watch out because they might not all be genuine. Overall for £55 + £25 for the extra charges and a drink it was absolutely fine and I had fun, however for a similar price you could get a lot better in London.
shakira - 2 weeks ago
The food was not good at all. The starter was said to be an aubergine taco but we were served a slice of seemingly garlic bread and like an aubergine hummus. The chicken main was said to be rosemary potatoes but were just square chips and the vegetables were like a stirfry mix. Very odd pairings.
2 of the acts were good, acrobat and fire act but only lasted 5mins each. The breaks were sway too long!
The other act was a Mr Bean impersonator which was funny to start and ended up being a cringey strip tease. Then the next act this guy did was a squirrel in a fluffy costume with a narrative story line of the squirrels life and how he likes ‘nuts’ and found a lump on his nuts. Said the moral of the story was to check your nuts. Found it a little disturbing when the guy did a fake orgasm in the squirrel costume! Personally I don’t think these last two acts are for a cabaret show.

Right behind the Hilton Double Tree near the tower bridge, this is a inviting and clean spot for a quick bite or drinks with friends🍻It has a nicely decorated bar with many local brews on tap as well as a variety of spirits with ample indoor and outdoor dining areas. Place fills up quickly during lunch time. The bar manager is very friendly and knows a lot about the local breweries. Glad we tried a new hazy pale he recommended 👍We will be back. I say check it out.

We came with 5 year old to eat. We had a chef's special, which was delicious. They even had fancy plates for kids, which my son loved! The pub is cozy and spacious—very comfortable sofas. I only wish that the staff at the bar were friendlier. We will be back.

This pub used to be an identikit loud city vertical drinking experience, but it's become a really nice place to go. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful, the beer and wine range is great and there's enough space for young people wanting loud music and older people (me) wanting to sit down and chat. Shows the difference a great manager can make.

Nice pub. Came in for a couple of business meetings. Great beer selection and not so loud we couldn't talk. Clean and recently repainted.

Such a typical proud British pub restaurant 😁 we had fish & chips here. Tasty food. Also thank you to the bartender for providing us with knowledge about how to get to Luton Airport for our 7am flight 😅 (we made it on time haha) thanks for your customer service and making our night very warming. Such a lovely pub. Cheers 🍻

Incredibly authentic and tasty Thai food. Truly delicious! The service is always very friendly and professional. Sonja and colleagues are simply wonderful. Very reasonable prices too for the quality provided. It is also a really beautiful space with lots of interesting art. Recommended!

The food was well done. If you like thai food then go for it. Personally I only like a couple dishes and I didn't like the tamarind duck. It was too sweet and too many flavours all competing. However the staff were nice and attentive and my vegan friend liked the food. Its quite big inside with a relaxed atmosphere. There were a lot of single diners in there so don't be shy about it. It's also a good place for a group meal if you like thai food.

Pretty thai here .. lots of good food options to choose from, delicious, quick and a huge menu to fit your cravings. The restaurant is very near from tower 🗼 bridge 🌉 and pretty good.
I ordered a chicken fried rice 🍚 which was a humongous portion I felt it was a 2 man job to finish it but I was all alone so had to stuff all that in.
Now the prices are are bit higher maybe because this is London but still 36 quids was a little above normal other than that all was good. Good atmosphere, good people and good food. Definitely worth a visit when you are in London.
Angira Sarkar - 3 months ago
Ordered the tom yum soup, butterfly prawns and egg fried rice.
Both the tom yum soup and butterfly prawns were done nicely. However, the egg fried rice tasted more like plain rice, with very little egg in it. And it was a bit mushy too.
Staff were polite and converse well in English too.
Overall the place was good, with good atmosphere and ample seating.

I’m visiting here from the states with some friends in a nearby village. We decided to come to London for the weekend. The service at this establishment was absolutely awful. The hostess greeted us and sat us, which was fine. Two servers stood at one end of the restaurant. We waited about 5 or 10 minutes before my friend finally flagged one of them down. She had a stuck up attitude, misinformed us about gluten free menu options, brought us a bottle of water when we requested still/tap, and didn’t appear to understand either the menu itself, the English language, or both. She lied to me after she told my friend the prawn crackers on the menu were not gluten free when the menu stated as much. She told me the menu was wrong and needed to be updated. The food was amazing and very well done; but the waitstaff was awful. We had to flag her down again just to pay our bill (and they included gratuity for three people). I wouldn’t recommend this place until whoever is running it (or hiring the staff) makes some necessary changes.

I had a good experience at Zizi. The exterior is really attractive and the view over the Thames is absolutely beautiful ,it adds so much to the atmosphere. The food is good for the price, with decent portions and nice flavours. Cocktails were delicious, tiramisu was good and salmon risotto was flavoursome. The staff were also very helpful and made the visit feel relaxed and welcoming. Overall, a great spot for a pleasant meal with a wonderful riverside setting.

As an American in England, I was craving real Italian food—and this place delivered! The dishes were flavorful and hot, not the usual "English Italian" version. The restaurant was clean, quiet, and comfortable—perfect for a relaxing meal. Our waiter Danny was super sweet, funny, and incredibly hospitable. He made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

We were seated comfortably and served fast. The food was delicious and the staff were very welcoming.
10% service charge is added to the bill.
I would recommend this place for a lunch or dinner while out in the city.
