4 Star Rating This is a nice hotel, centrally located near the London Tower Bridge. Hotel is clean, rooms are modern and have all the basic amenities for a good stay. Also rooms are quiet. Big advantage the fact that it has everywhere water filter machines so you can have as much water as you like during your stay. Breakfast is not its strong point; it is kind of basic in terms of variety and quality. Location is good, just 5 minutes from the Tower Hill Tube station. Recommended for leisure or work stay.

5 Star Rating My family and I loved this hotel. The location is fabulous and very convenient. We had a window view of the Tower of London which was incredible The value for money for families is impressive!! The rooms were big and comfortable- we especially loved the big hot showers, filtered water and really lovely buffet breakky.. again, excellent value for money. Most of all, though, we appreciated the friendly staff. In particular- Marta. BIG SHOUT OF TO MARTA! We had several issues with sorting out extra accommodation for relatives and then securing emergency accommodation for ourselves with a delayed flight. In both circumstances, Marta was sympathetic, extremely efficient and so helpful. We were so lucky to have her and I believe she is an asset to this hotel. Overall- if you are a family, base yourselves here while staying in London!!

4 Star Rating I stayed here because I was doing the London marathon and I wanted somewhere central. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, I found it to be quite noisy which isn't the hotels fault as it is London after all but I'd recommend ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. My one complaint was somebody trying to get into my hotel room, I looked through the peep hole to see a couple with their key card so I opened the door to tell them it was occupied, lady showed me her key card and it had my room number written on it so they'd given them my already occupied room. I did complain about this when checking out and reception were very apologetic.

5 Star Rating Two different reviews... First visit 4 May I waited 40 mins without acknowledgement from female who saw me to a window seat. Upstairs wasn't busy and I was in full view of the bar. William then approached and was met with my honest answer of "I was about to leave". I was checking reviews which highlighted this issue and considering where else to go. Am glad I stayed as the food was delicious and I returned a second time 5 May and thanks to Lake the experience was night and day. Proactively chasing up my order, capturing a late change but also hospitable, chatty and attentive. I would write two polar opposite reviews! I'd return again but it would depend on who is working.

5 Star Rating I recently dined at Bodean's Tower Hill and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! All the staff (esp Vicktor) were incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Their service was prompt and professional, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish prepared to perfection. The flavours were well-balanced, and the presentation was impressive. Whether you're a fan of classic BBQ dishes or looking for something more adventurous, their menu has something for everyone. One of the highlights of the evening was their impressive selection of bourbon whiskey. The variety was extensive, featuring both well-known brands and unique, hard-to-find bottles. The staff were knowledgeable and offered great recommendations, enhancing our overall experience. Overall, Bodean's Tower Hill is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy great food, excellent service, and a fantastic bourbon whiskey selection. I can't wait to return!

5 Star Rating So the good first - really enjoyed my dinner (pulled pork and burnt ends combo) and a lovely root beer. Everyone else enjoyed their food too. However, the service was awful, our server messed up the order (so much so that the manager gave us a massive discount). Our server was so quiet, had to asker her to repeat herself several times. Which is probably what led to the order being messed up. Have been here several times, and maybe it was her first day, but for such a busy restaurant, we.exoecred much better service.

5 Star Rating This brew dog pub was just round the corner from the Tower Hill one, albeit much smaller. Hardly anyone in there when we visited early Saturday afternoon, so within minutes of getting inside we had a drink and was sat down. Good selection of drinks as you would expect - was thankful to the lady working the bar who gave us a taste of one of the drinks before ordering a full pint, it swayed me to order something else!!

4 Star Rating The service was a little surly, but the space makes up for it. In the area, it feels a bit unique. As you walk in, it's bifurcated into two halves. The bar is straight ahead. The beer on this day was nearly completely IPA, which is a no go for me. The burger was fulfilling with a small number of chips. That was a little light to be honest.

4 Star Rating Stopped at Zizzi following a day out with the kids. Obviously aware that it's a bit of a tourist trap! Have to say the decor and views are very pleasant, so quite enjoyable, the service was not the fastest but ok when it came to ordering the food. Kids meals are good value here and you get a starter, main and dessert, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Our mains was the Sticky pig, which I really quite enjoyed. A bit pricey but recommend as it's two types of pizza. Took a while to get the kids deserts ordered though and even longer for the bill. (Which already had the service charge included) Generally not bad, nice types of pizza are a bit pricey, but good value for kids. But not too good if you're in a hurry as service can be a bit slower. Also nice and clean premises and can order on tables with the app and pay on it too.
