Good location easy to access from Victoria station. This is a really beautiful old building and the decor and lobby is really stunning.
Unfortunately being an old building when you get inside the hotel it's like a maze and very very difficult to navigate. The hotel is in 2 buildings so if you are on floor 4 or above you have to change lifts in another building, not easy when you have luggage.
Service in this hotel is non existent. My room wasn't cleaned at all for first 48 hrs and when I complained was told they were busy! When they did service the room it was bare minimum, really not convinced about cleanliness.
I was given a room with 2 single beds pushed together and made up separately, so basically slept in a single bed which was v narrow and bouncy, hence didn't sleep well. Have feedback on checkout and they did apologise

Excellent Location and Comfortable Rooms – Resolution After Departure
I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Clermont Hotel in London. The hotel's location is outstanding, situated directly above Victoria Station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and offered a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing.
During my stay, I encountered an issue regarding the booking of an additional room for a third guest. I had initially booked a larger room to accommodate three people, but upon arrival, I was informed that an additional room was necessary. Despite discussing this with the manager, the only resolution offered was complimentary breakfast during our stay and a discount on the extra room.
However, after returning home, I received a follow-up communication from the hotel addressing my concerns. While the situation was not fully resolved during my stay, I appreciate the hotel's efforts to address the matter after my departure and offer resolution.
Overall, The Clermont Hotel offers a fantastic location and comfortable accommodations. While my experience had some challenges, I am grateful for the hotel's attention to my concerns post-stay.

I’m giving two stars so the cleaning supervisor/manager knows how to treat the guests respectfully. In every hotel, checkout is at midday, in this one happens to be at 11am, but that is not a problem. The problem was the aggressive shouting I got from this supervisor across the other side of the hotel corridor as I opened my hotel room door after a loud knock on the door when she asked if i had late checkout, I answered “no” and then she shouted loudly “dont you know check out is at 11am? leave the room now”, extreme lack of manners and class. Very rude. Definitely this person belongs in a low class hostel not at a Clermont. My check out date was 16.11.2025. Hope this helps identify the employee who clearly needs to learn manners and basic hotel etiquette. After knowing this I obviously rushed to check out and still exited the hotel before 11.30am. With her behaviour and treatment I felt I was at some sketchy hostel instead of a Clermont. Extremely disappointing experience. The price paid does not match the staff treatment at all. Again, very disappointing.

Booked a room for my wedding, I asked to upgrade my room. They upgraded without charging me extra and celebrated with a champagne. Hospitality service on point. Also Alfredo is the man literally helped us carry all our stuff to our car and always had a huge smile.

We had a fantastic two-night stay with our family and dogs. I booked it to celebrate my father-in-law’s birthday before they flew back home. I informed reception in advance and they gave us such a lovely surprise when we arrived. The birthday cake was absolutely gorgeous.
We stayed in the Superior King rooms, which were spacious and perfect for our dogs. Throughout our stay, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The location is great too, within walking distance of Buckingham Palace. The valet parking made things much easier as they brought our car to the front of the hotel, so our dogs didn’t have to walk far to the car park.
My only small comment is that one member of staff spoke quite sharply to my partner when our older dog went to the toilet on the public pavement outside the hotel. I understand it might have caused some inconvenience, but our dogs are very well trained and never have accidents inside. It was on a public pavement, not even hotel property, so I think the situation could have been handled a little more kindly.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated all the thoughtful touches that made the celebration so special.

I recently spent two nights at this wonderful hotel and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The room was exceptional and the breakfast truly fabulous, but what makes this place truly special is its people. My heartfelt thanks to Taylor, Adam, Charlie, Sophie, Emma… and many others whose names I may have forgotten but whose kindness I will not.
The comfort of the room and the quality of the mattress are unmatched, and the soundproofing ensured perfect rest. The atmosphere throughout the bar and restaurant is delightful, and the cleanliness across the hotel is impeccable. The location is ideal for both leisure and business, adding even more value to the stay.
I am genuinely grateful for the thoughtful touches during my visit and for the warm, attentive service I received. It’s a real gem to discover such a talented team in London. Excellent work!

What an excellent hotel! The staff are so friendly, welcoming and attentive. We felt pampered in every way. Check in was very pleasant. Concierge helped in every way. Rooms are clean and luxurious with great attention to detail. Luxurious bedding and towels. Wonderful bath products, soft robes and slippers too. We had views of the Royal Mews and very close walk to Buckingham Palace. Will definitely stay here again. If you are thinking of staying here do it! You won’t be disappointed.

What an amazing time my husband and I had staying at The Ruben’s at the Palace. The service is excellent from all members of staff. We received a warm welcome by Paschal, who opened the door and carried our bags for us into the hotel. We stayed in the Royal Suite and our room, dedicated to Henry V111 was stunning. The New York bar was great for a cocktail or two and lunch, we were well looked after by Frank. We did not eat at the restaurant hotel because we had booked tickets for the theatre but breakfast was good with a great menu choice in a luxurious setting. Our only complaint was that, despite telling the hotel what time we would arrive, our room was not ready. We waited one and a half hours but were offered a sincere apology by Adam and given a complimentary drink for the bar. Adam deserves a special mention because he ensured that the rest of our stay was amazing with no further problems. We would love to come and stay again.

Amazing stay! The service is amazing (Pascal and Joe) just to mention a. couple of names.
Room was beautiful and clean, bar was so welcoming and cocktails were amazing, staff could not be more helpful.
Everyone made us feel welcome and safe on our first trip across the pond. Can’t wait to come back.

The evening was quite busy. I was seated in the lower level, which also houses the kitchen, restrooms, and staff closet. My proximity to the staff closet resulted in several instances where employees needed to access it, which was a minor inconvenience, though all staff members were exceptionally polite. The overall ambiance was pleasant, the cuisine was delectable, and the service provided by our server was both courteous and efficient. It was a truly positive experience, and I certainly intend to return.l.

Stopped by Rosa's for our first meal in the UK. It was splendid. The food was very good and our server (Bell) was exceptional. She spoke fluently in English (for me) and in Thai (for my partner). This was a great added touch to a wonderful overall experience.

Would stay here here again.
The location is great and very convenient for transport, but the hotel room itself if I was being really critical feels a little dated. Room is spacious. The bathroom was spacious and modern, which was a nice surprise, but the room décor and furniture could use an update. Service was fine. Overall, comfortable enough, clean and I would definitely stay here again.

This was simply a perfect vacation! 🌟
The hotel exceeded all expectations – everything was above and beyond. I especially want to mention the amazing staff: kind, smiling, and always available for any request. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt surrounded with warmth and genuine care, which made our stay truly unforgettable.
The location is also just perfect – close to everything, convenient and accessible, allowing us to enjoy the city without any unnecessary hassle.
And although this is a 4-star hotel, it truly felt like 5 ⭐ at the very least! It’s a pity there’s no option to give a rating higher than 10, because this hotel definitely deserves it.
A huge thank you to the entire team! We will definitely come back and recommend it to all our friends and family.

I had such a great experience at the hotel thanks to Florina at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. She made check-in smooth and effortless, offered helpful recommendations about the area, and always greeted me with a smile throughout my stay. It’s rare to meet someone who combines efficiency with such kindness, but Florina really goes above and beyond. She is a true asset to the hotel, and her hospitality made my visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for three days after a cruise out of Southampton. It was a perfect spot for our family (two adults, two kids; ages 11 and 8). Check-in was very easy, and we were upgraded to a suite, which was incredible after the 4 of us had just spent 10 days in a small cabin on the cruise ship! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We opted to pay for the breakfast buffet every morning, and the food was delicious. Hot, tasty, and plenty of options for whatever you're looking for. The location was great. If you are interested in theater, there were several within walking distance. Plenty of nearby restaurants and a short walk to the Victoria tube station, where we picked up our hop-on/hop-off bus. The staff were all very friendly, there was a cute little check-in spot for kids, and they were great for holding our bags when we checked in, but before our room was ready, so that we could go exploring. Definitely recommend!

While visiting London I wanted a pub experience, I’m happy we chose The Phoenix in Victoria. The vibe at this popular pub was electric! There was a nice music selection that was played loud enough to hear but not so loud that it impeded conversation. Before finding seating, my friend who is British ordered us lemonade from the bar(it reminded me of Sprite or 7up but better).
It’s brilliant to have a QR code and number at each table so you can order food and drinks without leaving your table. This pub has a nice menu (including vegetarian and vegan options) and boasts of its fresh ingredients menu, I give them full boasting rights. The food we ordered had the taste of quality and fresh ingredients, was very flavorful, and nicely plated. We did not have a long wait for our food even though the pub was very full. The pub staff were warm, welcoming, engaging and helpful.
I enjoyed my first London pub experience and I would visit The Phoenix again.

Before visiting Buckingham Palace, we needed to gather some strength. On our way towards the tempting golden arches, we luckily stumbled upon The Phoenix Pub – and thank goodness we didn’t just walk past.
It turned out to be the perfect choice: a proper pint (or two… or three), classic fish & chips, and a delicious burger that easily beats anything Ronald could offer. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food quality far exceeded the usual fast-food experience we almost settled for.
By the time we left, we were full, happy, and ready to face the Palace crowds. Admittedly, I had to make three pit stops at the restroom before continuing the sightseeing – but that’s just proof that the beer was flowing freely and the pub did its job well.
The Phoenix is exactly what you hope to find in London: friendly service, hearty pub food, and a few pints to make sightseeing feel a lot more royal. Highly recommended.

We were a group of seven — my family of four and our dear friends from the UK — and we visited The Phoenix Pub after a lovely walk from Buckingham Palace. My friend’s husband had done his research and found this pub based on stellar Google reviews, especially for their fish and chips. It was also my first ever pub experience, so my friend was especially excited to share that moment with me.
At first, we picked a cozy corner table downstairs since it was easier to manage with three little ones. But while my friend and husband went to find the restrooms, they discovered a whole upper level with much more open space and even some patio seating. So we moved upstairs and gave the kids their own table while the adults enjoyed a separate one nearby — it gave us all a little breathing room and a chance to relax and chat.
The bartenders were extremely kind and welcoming. We placed our orders at the bar, and everything was brought to our table shortly after. I went up to pay — again — but my generous and clever friend had already told them she was covering it. The bartender smiled and walked over with the card reader to *her* instead of me. This has now become a bit of a theme on this trip — she’s incredibly kind and simply would not let us pay.
For the kids, we ordered three portions of fish and chips. My friend’s husband went for the Sunday roast beef, and my friend and I both got the fish and chips as well. When my friend mentioned her severe shellfish allergy, the bartender was so considerate — he made sure her meal would be prepared in separate oil. She told me later how rare it is to find a place that goes to that level of care, and how much she appreciated being able to enjoy fish and chips without worry.
My husband wasn’t feeling great, so he just had a few bites from my plate. My older daughter, on the other hand, was loving it — she kept coming over and taking bites of fish from mine too, even though she had her own. That’s how good it was.
The roast was hearty and well-enjoyed by my friend’s husband, and the fish and chips were crispy, flavorful, and comforting — everything I imagined a real pub meal would be. But beyond the food, it was the atmosphere and the exceptional service that really stood out.
The Phoenix Pub gave us such a warm, memorable experience. The staff were thoughtful, the food was excellent, and the company made it all even more special. I'm so glad this was my first pub — I’ll remember it fondly.

Marius was very welcoming and helped us understand the menu. We are only in town from the states for a short amount of time and are so glad we happened upon this restaurant. Everything we ordered was great and had a lot of flavor to it! Ask Marius for his magic tricks (a hit with the kids)!

Great pub, went in as a stop off to Gatwick for our flight.
As a Yorkshire man, their Yorkshire puds are the best Yorkshire puds in London! Great prices, great food and will gladly return.
Staff are fantastic (didn't get anyone's names though).
We were a bit late, but our table was still available which was nice

Visited here recently and we had a good experience having a nice evening meal. We had a 3 course meal from the pre theatre menu and had ordered the below.
2 People
Starters: Cesar Salad, BBQ chicken salad
Mains: Vegan burger with chips, traditional fish & chips
Desert: Baked vanilla cheese cake, chocolate brownie.
The Cesar salad was very nice and so was the BBQ salad although they forgot to put the crispy bacon, which they did later bring after we informed them.
The vegan burger wasn't great, perhaps it was me who didn't like it, as options were limited in the menu. My wife certainly enjoyed the fish and chips though.
Deserts were nice although we found the cheese cake a little on the tasteless side. Chocolate brownie was nice and could have been nice if it was little more warmer.
Overall it's a very nice place and I'm sure the other menus offer a lot more choices. Drinks menu was very good and lots of cocktails, beers, spirits on the menu.

Really nice and friendly staff. it's a mixture of a sports bar and restaurant that also does afternoon tea. The menu is pretty basic, fish and chips, burgers etc, but well cooked and presented. The prices are very reasonable based on the location. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a night out in that part of town without getting ripped off.

I recently visited Zizzi with three friends during our trip to the UK. 🇬🇧 We stumbled upon this restaurant near our hotel and were pleasantly surprised!🤩 The food was absolutely delicious, but what truly made our experience memorable was the exceptional service from Mr. Fernando.🥰

We hit Il Posto before going to Hamilton at the Victoria theatre. It was a 2 min walk and a great spot before the show. I thought the food was good with the Pizza being the best and the pasta options being good but not great. The service was excellent and the atmosphere in the restaurant just okay. I would recommend others to go in the area but wouldn’t make a trip for it.

This spot was always packed when we walked by so we though it must be amazing. Apparently its only amazing as a bar. The service was – nonexistent. We had to place our order at the bar and I had to get my own water. The items I wanted on the menu were not available. My husbands Steak & Ale pie was pretty good and the spicy chicken was tasty but everything else was meh. Have a beer while you wait for your Steak & Ale pie to take away. Hop on the train across the street and enjoy your food on your couch!

Nice and cozy pub. We ordered the cheese and bacon burger, and three of the small plates (karaage Sticky chicken, crispy squid and battered halloumi). Everything tasted really good.
Good service from Aayushi, and quick service at the bar.

This is a nice pub across from Victoria Station. I liked the food, it was exactly what I was looking for. This may be normal for a British pub, but you find a place to sit and then order and pay ahead of time at the bar. This is not a bad thing, but not what I was expecting.

Spur of the moment stop to get something to eat. Loved the atmosphere and the fact that you can pick your own table and order and pay from an app. Aayushi was very nice and service was quick. I'd recommend anyone in the area looking for authentic pub style food to try this place out.

I’m hooked on the firecracker chicken! If I see a Wagamama, I’m gonna have it with a gyoza. Had to get extra chicken with the meal though because the serving is quite sparse. I tried the duck gyoza for the first time and enjoyed it. My family thoroughly enjoyed their meal as well.

I went there twice this week because I had such a tasty meal! The staff are very welcoming, and the new Gochujang pork belly ramen is 10/10 Loved it! I also ordered the bao buns 1. tonkatsu pork 2. Korean barbecue brisket
Both of them are delicious! The second one is juicier though. 😋 I do wanna go back to try other plates. Not to mention how fulfilling it is. 🔥

Had the Yasai Yaki Soba (mushroom noodle dish) – really tasty, would definitely recommend. Also had the large Power smoothie – absolutely worth the extra 50p, so good you’ll finish it fast. Pro tip: ask for the free green tea. Service was friendly, plenty of seats, though it can get busy at lunchtime. Great spot overall.

I came here for a solo lunch before heading to the train station. It’s within walking distance and a good alternative to the restaurants there. Typical Wagamama seating, however, the place lacks a bit of atmosphere. I sat at a table for six near the window, which was quite nice as it can get crowded in the middle of the restaurant. I could see straight into the kitchen, which was okay. They do have an open kitchen as well.
Service was fabulous; I had a really lovely and attentive waitress. The food was really lovely. However, I paid £20 for a beef brisket ramen, which is on the pricier side. All in all, I spent £30 on my lunch, having had two drinks. A simple lunch for quite a lot of money. The flavour was good, but overall, not completely worth it.

We have been to wagamama many times for their delicious food but what really matters for the particular location is the best service that you get. We were served by Dezi and she has been one of trhe most patient servers i have met lately. She was very calm with our dietary requirements and ensured we were treated with utmost care. It is very rare to get Jain customers, as we are vegetarians and do not eat Onion, Garlic, Potatoes, Aubergine, Mushrooms on top of all other restrictions of meat, eggs and fish. With all of this, the server was more than happy to treat us with some good dishes for one of our visitors. Thank you Wagamama for such great servers and team who go out of their way to handle the customers.
