we had a wonderful stay at this hotel in london. the hotel looks very elegant and everything was extremely clean. our room was beautiful and very cosy.
the staff was super friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. the location is perfect – right next to the underground and very close to the train station, so the transport connections are excellent.
we also loved the atmosphere. soft instrumental music was always playing in the lobby, perfectly matching the elegant and peaceful interior. it created a calm and beautiful ambiance from the moment we walked in.
the bar and dining area are also really lovely. we can’t complain about anything and would definitely recommend this hotel!!🤎

Visited for the Wicked Afternoon Tea for Two as we had been gifted a Virgin experience voucher.
The Clermont is well established and a beautifully presented hotel.
The main hall for dining is very airy, modern and cosy. Very comfortable seating and well spaced out.
They had also a wicked theme around the fireplace which was a great touch for the occasion.
We had a lovely window spot, and the table service was flawless and very attentive.
The cream tea itself was a lovely selection of finger sandwiches and cakes, which was plenty to fill the two of us up! We enjoyed all of it.
Probably the best Cream Tea we’ve had in a long time, and the wicked theme with the smoking cauldron was a nice touch.
Highly recommend.

After enjoying my stay here in 2021, I decided to return due to its excellent location.
We arrived slightly after 3pm and were initially told our room was ready. However, about five minutes later, a receptionist apologised and said the keys would be available in 30 minutes. We ended up waiting over an hour with two young children before finally checking into a first-floor room facing the main road. To acknowledge the delay, the manager kindly gave our boys a teddy bear each.
A very friendly room service staff member helped us set up the sofa bed in what was a very small room. Despite our comfy pillows from the menu, we had little sleep due to traffic noise, despite the double-glazed windows.
The next morning, after explaining our experience, we were moved to a larger room on the fourth floor. While this was appreciated, the carpet had visible stains. The toilet was tiny and had poor ventilation, with peeling paint around the window seal.
We had turned on the “make up room” light, but when we returned around 3:30pm, the room had not been serviced. The housekeeper apologised, explaining she was very busy and said she wouldn’t have capacity to clean the room, but kindly offered to remove the rubbish and change towels at my request. Reception later informed me that housekeeping service should be available until 6pm. Eventually, the room was cleaned when we arrived back later that evening.
Overall, the location is excellent but based on this experience, I wouldn’t be rushing back.

Old-fashioned service, comfort, ideal location, only downside not accessible for wheelchair users as the entrance and exits are all stairways. I had a delightful day the staff really care about their guests. Everybody was charming, helpful polite.
The bed was really comfortable. The room was lovely and despite being near a station And the hotel being very busy, I heard nothing in my room apart from the slight rumble Of the traffic.

I always have an amazing stay here. Great location.
Every team member you meet is exceptionally kind and helpful.
Big thanks for Florina and the rest of the reception team for always being there for each guest. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
Breakfast team are also super friendly and just make the trip to London that much more special.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the level of service throughout my visit was truly exceptional.
A special thank you to Alicja at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable by arranging the unique Henry VIII room for me. Her kindness and professionalism made a real difference.
I was genuinely impressed by both the fantastic location and the outstanding staff. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return.

The location of this hotel is simply unbeatable. It’s a 5-minute walk from Victoria Station (you can get there almost without getting wet, even if it’s raining), close to several top theaters, and right by Buckingham Palace. Hyde Park is also barely a 10-minute walk away.
As for the hotel itself, there isn't much more to it. Unfortunately, we couldn't try the Indian restaurant as it was closed for renovations, though it looked very promising. They do have The English Grill, but we felt the dining options in the surrounding area are so good that it’s not worth paying the premium to eat at the hotel, especially with what seemed to be a limited menu.
The facilities are quite dated. This is particularly noticeable in the elevators, but also in the rooms (by the way, whose idea was it to place the toilet paper five feet away from the toilet?), the windows, etc. This is not a luxury hotel; it is an acceptable hotel right in the center, and that is what you are paying for. The views aren't particularly good regardless of which way your room faces, so it’s not worth paying extra for a view.
The continental breakfast buffet is possibly one of the smallest and most limited I have ever seen. It had barely three bowls of cereal, a few types of milk, and some yogurt and fruit. However (as they explain on the first day), you can order various hot dishes from a menu, which are large and quite well-prepared.
We would stay at this hotel again, but not at just any price.

We stayed 4 night and had the most pleasant experience.
The location is within minutes walk to the Victoria Underground, the Victoria Theater and Apollo theater and great restaurants.
The hotel is extremely clean, from our room to the bathroom below the tea room, we were impressed with the cleanliness.
The thermostat was easy to use and the air conditioner works great!
Our room faced the Royal Mews and we loved it.
The staff was excellent in every way. They were all so accommodating and friendly. Every single one of them, we really appreciated the special treatment.
Definitely will consider staying at your hotel when we are back in London.

Wonderful Hotel, and spectacular staff. Robert at the front is lovely, and is ready to help with whatever you may need at a moments notice. The bar is stunning and the staff are absolutely superb, the drinks are incredible, and the service is not only attentive but also very personable. We really enjoyed our stay, and will most definitely be back again soon. (PS if you want a really stellar drink, ask for The Scarlet, it isn't on the menu yet but I can almost guarantee it will be your favourite!)

Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout the day. Such an easy, enjoyable experience from morning to night. Definitely a place I’d happily come back to.

We had a great experience at Rosa’s Thai. When we arrived, it wasn’t very busy, so we didn’t have to wait long to be seated. We were shown to our table straight away.
Bell looked after us from start to finish and she was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. Her service really made the experience even better.
Our food arrived within a few minutes, and everything was delicious, including the drinks. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and we would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Good food, lively vibe, and friendly staff. As a Thai, I think the flavours were pretty well-balanced with a little bit of spiciness, kind of like central-style cuisine. If you're only at spice level 1, you’ll probably be okay. I also enjoyed the different ingredient combinations and the variety of textures, which made every bite enjoyable.

Rosa’s Thai in Victoria is a real gem in London! The food is truly authentic, full of bold Thai flavours, and cooked to perfection. Every dish tastes fresh and genuine, just like in Thailand. A wonderful atmosphere, friendly service, and outstanding food make this place a true jewel for Thai cuisine lovers.🇹🇭✨ we loved the green curry, Thai beer, deep fried calamari, it was a night to remember…

The evening was quite busy. I was seated in the lower level, which also houses the kitchen, restrooms, and staff closet. My proximity to the staff closet resulted in several instances where employees needed to access it, which was a minor inconvenience, though all staff members were exceptionally polite. The overall ambiance was pleasant, the cuisine was delectable, and the service provided by our server was both courteous and efficient. It was a truly positive experience, and I certainly intend to return.l.

We stayed at the Park Plaza Victoria for 2 nights and we felt very welcome. Staff is very friendly. The bar area is very beautiful. The location could not be better, just in front of Victoria station. As well there are lots of nice little cafe's neareby. We had an upgrade on our room and as we didn't need a cleaning service for the next day, the hotel offered us some drinks instead. The room was big and very clean. The bed was very comfy and big, too, as it was a queen size bed. The bathroom was spacious with shower and bath tube. The only little thing we had to complain is the floor that was freeezing cold, even if we put on the heater. We couldn't walk barefoot and even with shoes on the feet were cold. But as our friends in another Hotel had the same problem, we believed this was normal for London at this time of the year.
We can defenitely recommend this Hotel and we will also come back!!
Alexandra E - 2 months ago
My room had no access to mobile network. So I couldn't use the my mobile data nor answer or receive call. Therefore I had to rely on the hotel internet. However, the hotel internet WiFi only accepts 2 divices maximum. If you have a third device, like me, you have to pay. There was no bottle water in the room as other hotel do.
However, the location of this hotel was nice. Their food was delicious and the environment was neat. So think twice of what you can forego.
Otu Ibok - 3 weeks ago
The hotel is in a great location, making it very convenient for exploring London. The lobby is beautiful and creates a very good first impression. The sauna and hammam were especially appreciated after long days of walking around the city.
Unfortunately, the biggest downside was the air conditioning and heating system. My room was constantly cold, and it seemed like this might be an issue throughout the hotel. A mechanic was sent to check it, but the problem wasn’t fully resolved. We were given a small external heater, which helped slightly, but it still wasn’t enough to make the room comfortable.
Another issue is that the hotel automatically turns off the AC/heating system every time you leave the room. As a result, whenever we returned, it took at least two hours for the room to warm up again. The bathroom is finished in marble, which looks nice, but there is no heating there either, making it quite cold as well.
Overall, the hotel has many positive aspects, but the temperature control significantly affected our comfort during the stay.

Good value for money hotel in one of the best locations in London. Special kudos to Priyanka for the early check in, you made my day! It is great when you find someone willing to give an extra mile and be emphatic with a client, well done.

Great hotel with very helpful staff and a perfect starting position at victoria station to get quickly to all must see spots in London.
The rooms are spacious and also the bathroom. However the lumination in the room could be better. There are just small LED spots in the ceiling. It might be difficult to shave or do other things, which require a bright room.
However the remote control for the lights and curtains is great.
The breakfast is also awesome. A great buffet with all kind of selection and the supervising woman the entrance to the breakfast was doing a perfect job !
I definitely can recommend that hotel

While visiting London I wanted a pub experience, I’m happy we chose The Phoenix in Victoria. The vibe at this popular pub was electric! There was a nice music selection that was played loud enough to hear but not so loud that it impeded conversation. Before finding seating, my friend who is British ordered us lemonade from the bar(it reminded me of Sprite or 7up but better).
It’s brilliant to have a QR code and number at each table so you can order food and drinks without leaving your table. This pub has a nice menu (including vegetarian and vegan options) and boasts of its fresh ingredients menu, I give them full boasting rights. The food we ordered had the taste of quality and fresh ingredients, was very flavorful, and nicely plated. We did not have a long wait for our food even though the pub was very full. The pub staff were warm, welcoming, engaging and helpful.
I enjoyed my first London pub experience and I would visit The Phoenix again.

Before visiting Buckingham Palace, we needed to gather some strength. On our way towards the tempting golden arches, we luckily stumbled upon The Phoenix Pub – and thank goodness we didn’t just walk past.
It turned out to be the perfect choice: a proper pint (or two… or three), classic fish & chips, and a delicious burger that easily beats anything Ronald could offer. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food quality far exceeded the usual fast-food experience we almost settled for.
By the time we left, we were full, happy, and ready to face the Palace crowds. Admittedly, I had to make three pit stops at the restroom before continuing the sightseeing – but that’s just proof that the beer was flowing freely and the pub did its job well.
The Phoenix is exactly what you hope to find in London: friendly service, hearty pub food, and a few pints to make sightseeing feel a lot more royal. Highly recommended.

When you're in London you must stop at the Phoenix pub. Have the fish and chips best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and not greasy. And you need to have Marius do a magic trip for you. YOU WILL BE AMAZED! So glad it was recommended by the Ruben's at the palace hotel!

We were a group of seven — my family of four and our dear friends from the UK — and we visited The Phoenix Pub after a lovely walk from Buckingham Palace. My friend’s husband had done his research and found this pub based on stellar Google reviews, especially for their fish and chips. It was also my first ever pub experience, so my friend was especially excited to share that moment with me.
At first, we picked a cozy corner table downstairs since it was easier to manage with three little ones. But while my friend and husband went to find the restrooms, they discovered a whole upper level with much more open space and even some patio seating. So we moved upstairs and gave the kids their own table while the adults enjoyed a separate one nearby — it gave us all a little breathing room and a chance to relax and chat.
The bartenders were extremely kind and welcoming. We placed our orders at the bar, and everything was brought to our table shortly after. I went up to pay — again — but my generous and clever friend had already told them she was covering it. The bartender smiled and walked over with the card reader to *her* instead of me. This has now become a bit of a theme on this trip — she’s incredibly kind and simply would not let us pay.
For the kids, we ordered three portions of fish and chips. My friend’s husband went for the Sunday roast beef, and my friend and I both got the fish and chips as well. When my friend mentioned her severe shellfish allergy, the bartender was so considerate — he made sure her meal would be prepared in separate oil. She told me later how rare it is to find a place that goes to that level of care, and how much she appreciated being able to enjoy fish and chips without worry.
My husband wasn’t feeling great, so he just had a few bites from my plate. My older daughter, on the other hand, was loving it — she kept coming over and taking bites of fish from mine too, even though she had her own. That’s how good it was.
The roast was hearty and well-enjoyed by my friend’s husband, and the fish and chips were crispy, flavorful, and comforting — everything I imagined a real pub meal would be. But beyond the food, it was the atmosphere and the exceptional service that really stood out.
The Phoenix Pub gave us such a warm, memorable experience. The staff were thoughtful, the food was excellent, and the company made it all even more special. I'm so glad this was my first pub — I’ll remember it fondly.

Great pub, went in as a stop off to Gatwick for our flight.
As a Yorkshire man, their Yorkshire puds are the best Yorkshire puds in London! Great prices, great food and will gladly return.
Staff are fantastic (didn't get anyone's names though).
We were a bit late, but our table was still available which was nice

Where do I start? This place is fantastic and is a must go place!
From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel super welcome.
Decor and atmosphere is lovely.
We had booked the fish and chip afternoon tea - this is just magnificent!
The fact you get everything below included with unlimited hot drinks is just fantastic value for money!
You get chunks of battered fish and plenty of chips, pickled eggs, tartare sauce, curry sauce, selection of cakes and scones with jam and cream - all of this was just divine!
Then the drinks options are plentiful - we opted for hot chocolates, breakfast tea, and a Rooibos tea - which was frequently replenished when needed and also glasses of water too!
All in all, this was such a fantastic experience (first ever time) and we cannot wait to re-book and do it all again
A huge thank you to all the staff here too as you are amazing and attentive!
Shout out to Roberta who was our server - you are brilliant! ❤️

Great little spot with good prices and a laid-back vibe. Came in mostly for dessert but ended up grabbing the fish and chips too — seriously good. Not usually a London pilsner guy, but it still hit the spot. Would definitely come back.

I had a wonderful pre-birthday celebration at BBar. I originally booked for 1:30 PM, but they were so accommodating when I called to say I was running late and arrived at 1:45 PM. A massive highlight was that we never felt rushed; we didn’t leave until 5:00 PM and were given more than enough time to talk and relax. In Central London, it’s rare to find a place that doesn't hurry you along, but here we felt completely comfortable.
We loved the flexibility of mixing the 'Chip Shop' and 'Traditional' afternoon teas. David was fantastic and looked after us for most of the service, ensuring our tea was always topped up. Towards the end, a lovely female server recommended the beautiful blooming Jasmine tea, which was a highlight. The gentleman who greeted us also handled our bill efficiently at the end. The quiet, chilled ambiance was perfect for a long birthday catch-up. Highly recommended!

Food was great quality, albeit entirely overpriced. The cheese and crackers were hilariously minimal and lackluster for the price. Staff were kind, but also incredibly busy and hard to get a hold of.

Visited here recently and we had a good experience having a nice evening meal. We had a 3 course meal from the pre theatre menu and had ordered the below.
2 People
Starters: Cesar Salad, BBQ chicken salad
Mains: Vegan burger with chips, traditional fish & chips
Desert: Baked vanilla cheese cake, chocolate brownie.
The Cesar salad was very nice and so was the BBQ salad although they forgot to put the crispy bacon, which they did later bring after we informed them.
The vegan burger wasn't great, perhaps it was me who didn't like it, as options were limited in the menu. My wife certainly enjoyed the fish and chips though.
Deserts were nice although we found the cheese cake a little on the tasteless side. Chocolate brownie was nice and could have been nice if it was little more warmer.
Overall it's a very nice place and I'm sure the other menus offer a lot more choices. Drinks menu was very good and lots of cocktails, beers, spirits on the menu.

I recently visited Zizzi with three friends during our trip to the UK. 🇬🇧 We stumbled upon this restaurant near our hotel and were pleasantly surprised!🤩 The food was absolutely delicious, but what truly made our experience memorable was the exceptional service from Mr. Fernando.🥰
He was incredibly polite and enthusiastic, handling all our needs with care. From taking our orders to serving our meals, he managed everything by himself. Mr. Fernando ensured our dishes were just right and engaged with us, always sharing a warm smile that made us feel at home, even in a foreign country.👍
Overall, my experience at Zizzi was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal. 🫶🏼

This was a reservation of convenience as it’s very close to Victoria station.
The street that it’s on isn’t the nicest but don’t let that put you off - it’s a clean, friendly, and lively place!
Much bigger on the inside than it seems from outside. We were greeted by the friendly staff who were very attentive and polite.
Solid garlic bread with mozzarella to open: no skimping on the garlic or cheese.
Tried the lasagne which was finished al for no. Generous layers of pasta and ragu with soft, fine-textured meat. I like the rich béchamel on the outside - you can choose how much you want with each bite.
Overall, tasty food with excellent, friendly staff.

This spot was always packed when we walked by so we though it must be amazing. Apparently its only amazing as a bar. The service was – nonexistent. We had to place our order at the bar and I had to get my own water. The items I wanted on the menu were not available. My husbands Steak & Ale pie was pretty good and the spicy chicken was tasty but everything else was meh. Have a beer while you wait for your Steak & Ale pie to take away. Hop on the train across the street and enjoy your food on your couch!

As soon as we walked into the porch on a freezing night, we immediately felt the warmth of the outdoor heating. The outdoor area is very well heated. You can actually comfortably sit there during the winter.
I absolutely love their bang bang cauliflower. It seems ridiculous to order cauliflower for £6 but the burst of flavours of the taste is definitely worth it. It blows my mind each time.
I tried the Korean chicken bao buns today and I really liked it. Just the right amount of spice to give it a kick and the rest of the herbs and veg gives it a refreshing twist.
My daughter had the Kid's bento which was very reasonably priced. It's a good idea for those not wanting to eat too much and just want a little bit of different things.
The staff are really friendly. They are good at keeping you informed and updated so that you don't feel like you have been forgotten or get bored waiting.
I came here to claim my youtube partner perk rewards. I was having difficulty accessing the reward card (I guess I did not pay very good attention) but they patiently helped me figure it all out so that I get my discount. Thank you so much to the friendly staff!

We came to wagamama with a group of 11. We had made a reservation, and they were ready for us. They took our orders impressively fast, and food was to our table much quicker than expected. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

I’m hooked on the firecracker chicken! If I see a Wagamama, I’m gonna have it with a gyoza. Had to get extra chicken with the meal though because the serving is quite sparse. I tried the duck gyoza for the first time and enjoyed it. My family thoroughly enjoyed their meal as well.

On a cold and windy afternoon, my daughter and I decided on a Wagamama's meal to warm us up. I haven't been to this chain in many years but upon visiting this branch, although quiet on a Monday, it still provided a good dining experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the Raisukaree curry but the Miso Caramel Banana Bread with ice-cream was underwhelming (I feel the banana bread should have been served warm). Overall, the service was impeccable and we were very grateful to the lovely gentleman that looked after us throughout the meal.

I went there twice this week because I had such a tasty meal! The staff are very welcoming, and the new Gochujang pork belly ramen is 10/10 Loved it! I also ordered the bao buns 1. tonkatsu pork 2. Korean barbecue brisket
Both of them are delicious! The second one is juicier though. 😋 I do wanna go back to try other plates. Not to mention how fulfilling it is. 🔥
