5 Star Rating What a nice surprise to walk into this very classy lobby, welcomed by a very friendly bellman. The location really couldn't be better. It's steps away from Victoria station. In fact, thought it was closed while we were there, but they actually have an elevator the drops you right into the station. The front desk was willing to help whenever we asked and the room was what we expected. We didn't try the breakfast, as it was a full buffet and priced as such - we simply don't want that much food to justify the cost. We did try the lounge one night. Servers were very friendly, but not exceedingly knowledgeable. We got the impression that some of the workers were new to the area, having recently relocation from India. Still they were nice and engaged the help of others as needed. One of the bartenders was VERY kind and accommodating, coming to our table to help clarify questions and even to offer very helpful and friendly advice to us as travelers. We were a little disappointed that the lounge manager came to hurry him away. Overall, we were pleased with our choice, and would certainly consider staying here again.

5 Star Rating Wonderful stay at the hotel. Great welcome and check-in. Near Victoria Station as well as the buses and coach station, so access to theaters shops. The hotel is fabulous with free nonalcoholic drinks and snacks. The breakfast buffet choice is excellent with good service. Would have liked lactose-free yogurt. Bar with drinks after the theatre really enjoyed the vibe and the service was excellent. Room with tea coffee chocolate but the hot water for the bath was lukewarm. Informed staff re water who said would look into it. Overall recommend the hotel would stay again.

2 Star Rating Steer clear. Dated hotel with a lot of problems. Great location and very convenient to my working location when I travel to London for work, but not worth the discomfort. I’ve stayed here twice over the last two months and both stays were riddled with problems, with only very minimal apology, and no real interest in correcting or making me whole for them. Stay 1, April 2024: hot water was out in the entire hotel for a day; fire alarm went off in the middle of the night evacuating the entire hotel, and staff caused confusion and panic by first saying it was a false alarm, and then coming back through to tell people to evacuate. Mentioned this to front desk at checkout and not so much as an apology. Stay 2, June 2024: A/C not working in my room. Called front desk Monday night, which promised to send maintenance. They never came. Called again two more nights, same promise to send someone the next day. They did bring an oscillating fan up to my room. They offered a 20% discount on the stay. In addition, the mattress is so old it deeply sags on both sides of the bed. The hotel is in a pretty old Victorian building but other than some new tiling in bathrooms, you can tell it’s badly in need of a renovation. Very unlikely to stay here again, which is unfortunate due to how convenient the location is.

5 Star Rating We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel has a grand lobby with a beautiful flower display. As soon as we arrived our bags were taken care of and everyone was very helpful. We had one small problem, this was taken care of and we were very happy. We also loved the snacks in room. If ever in London again, I would definitely stay here.

5 Star Rating Great location, blocks from Buckingham Palace and above the Victoria line underground. Multiple restaurants within a few blocks. Excellent, attentive staff. Only complaint is that the bath tub/shower is a huge fall hazard, would recommend changing it to walk in shower. Otherwise room was clean, comfortable, modern.

4 Star Rating I stayed here on a business trip. From the start I already knew the service was going to be great. The doorman was very welcoming and humorous and also very funny. I then checked in and multiple people offered to bring my bags up. After 15 min in the room, I also got a call from the reception to check on me. There was also a snack that was a surprise to me, themed with my Company’s logo. Everyone I talked to was super nice. The hotel itself was maybe not for me, very old school, but if you are into that, then this is for you. The room was very fresh, and very clean. A super comfortable bed and very nice pillows. The bathroom was also quite nice. Finally location. I don’t love it, as it’s quite far from where most of my activities were, mainly Soho. But the hotel is very close to the Victoria station, and walking distance to Buckingham Palace. So keep that in mind.

5 Star Rating Although the rooms are small due to their age, they are well designed and very comfortable. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well kept. It is the staff that really put this place over the top. Check in was pleasant and very helpful. A bellman brought our bags up and reviewed some of the features of the room. The concierge followed up moments later to confirm the room met our needs. Top all this off with the fact that the Rubens is just around the corner from Buckingham palace and you have an excellent hotel for a first visit to London.

Cannot wait to stay here again.

5 Star Rating I'm thrilled to share with you my recent culinary adventure at Rosa's Thai Victoria. Let me just say that the Pad Thai chicken is a dish you shouldn't miss! It's a masterful mix of flavours that bring your taste buds to life. But what makes this experience even more special is the service provided by their staff member Harri. Harri is not just a waiter but an ambassador of hospitality. His friendly and attentive service made the whole dining experience memorable. From recommending dishes to providing timely refills, he's truly the cherry on top of an already delightful meal. So, if you're in the mood for authentic Thai cuisine, Rosa's Thai Victoria is a place you should definitely check out. And if Harri is your waiter, consider yourself lucky!

4 Star Rating They are currently undergoing a remodeling of the rooms. The first room I was given, the bathroom flooded from the shower. They changed me to a newly remodeled room where the new bathrooms are black tile with minimal lighting. Very dark. I wish they had more outlets closer to the bed so I didn't have to get up each time my phone rang or text bc there were none close to me. The location of the hotel is fantastic. This was actually my second time staying bc of the close proximity to the Victoria station/line. Also, many walkable restaurants and bars.

3 Star Rating The food was very disappointing for a quick bite and to pay close to £70! The pasta was extremely dry, and you could tell that it has been sitting, waiting to be given to someone, lucky me... The other disappointing order was the chips! How can you screw up chips, unless is done internationally because they do not care about the customers! I hope people will avoid this place unless they feel charitable and wants to give their money away!

Friendly staff with good customer service 👍 which was essential for catching up with friends, you want to talk about what's new in your life and what's been bothering you, not being distracted or disappointed by something else around you. Quick service and consistent recipe. All in all, well done for a chain restaurant 👍

2 Star Rating I visited with my daughters earlier for the first time and was really disappointed. The staff were very abrupt and quite rude, with the exception of one staff member who offered us our leftovers as takeaway. The food was mediocre, it did however arrive very quickly after us ordering. It arrived before the drinks. When it came to paying, it was made out that our payment method was declining-which it was not, after some insistence the card was not the problem and it was actually the machine. No apology was offered for the accusations of us not being able to pay.

4 Star Rating I visited Santini as a guest for business. It's located on a quiet road off of Buckingham Palace Road. Decor is lovely. It's very luxe. Staff are very friendly. One of our servers was wearing a kind of boiler suit getup. Wasn't sure if he was a chef or something but I liked it. The food was delicious. I had scallops to start and lobster linguine. I didn't have dessert as I was rather full but did have a dessert wine and biscotti. Italian is my favourite cuisine and I really enjoyed it here. I'm not sure I would come back of my own accord but that is largely because Victoria is not a desirable area to me, especially as it's a mass construction site at the moment plus I prefer local homely Italian restaurants.

From the starter, to the main, to the desert, everything was exquisite. Very authentic italian food, so nice and full of flavors. Accompany your meal with an aperol sprits and a glass of italian red wine (i choose primitivo ) and you can get the most authentic italian experience. The service as well was top notch and the atmosphere of restaurant was very nice. We will definitely be back.

2 Star Rating The spaghetti carbonara. Hideous. Casually puts salty pancetta on crazy salty sauce with spaghetti. Not today. The sauce is literally crazy salty. The spaghetti in the sauce was crazy. The service however was great until you decided to put 2 spoons of cheese on my food. It was not for me. Even my body is rejecting the salty stuff. The dessert is the only good part. Tiramisu to perfection. The service was still great with refills of the well needed water. And it was the only restaurant that gave me time to breathe when picking what to eat.
