We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The location was excellent — very close to Waterloo Station, with easy access to buses and the tube, which made getting around London very convenient.
The service was outstanding throughout our stay. We experienced a small issue with our original room, but the staff handled it professionally and kindly upgraded us to a beautiful new room, which we really appreciated.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed and pillows were especially cozy, and we slept extremely well. The view from the room was also fantastic and made the stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, a very pleasant experience with excellent hospitality, comfort, and location. We would happily stay here again.

We had an excellent stay at Park Plaza County Hall London and would happily stay here again.
The location is one of the biggest advantages. Big Ben, Westminster Bridge, the London Eye, and many major attractions are within easy walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and food options nearby, making it very convenient for families. Getting to St Pancras International for our Eurostar trip to Paris was also quick and straightforward.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bathroom was spotless, the shower had excellent water pressure, and hot water was available almost instantly, which was greatly appreciated after long days of sightseeing.
The hotel staff were outstanding throughout our stay. Everyone was polite, professional, welcoming, and always willing to help with directions, questions, or recommendations.
A few small details made a big difference. Complimentary chilled water is available in the lobby, there are multiple elevators so waiting times are minimal, and the hotel even has a vending machine that sells UK power adapters. I would still recommend bringing your own adapter, as buying one outside the hotel will usually cost significantly more.
Overall, this hotel offers a fantastic combination of location, cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality. It is an excellent choice for families and tourists visiting London.

The hotel is situated in a perfect location.
Staff throughout the hotel seemed friendly and helpful. As mentioned check in isnt till 3 but if you know this in advance they are happy for you to leave bags and explore.
The room had everything I needed, view of the sister building the old annex and towards the bridge.
Room was clean and tidy with complimentary water which is a nice touch.
Nice hotel if you are in the city

Here's a polished version of your Google review:
The hotel has a great location, and the rooms are comfortable. If your kids love trains like mine do, the train view is a big bonus!
There are a few areas that really need improvement. The elevators can be extremely slow, and during busy hours you may end up waiting a very long time.
Housekeeping also has unusual cleaning hours. If you're traveling with kids, I'd recommend asking them to clean your room earlier, as they may not start cleaning until as late as 5:00 PM.
One thing I really didn't understand was the bathtub design—there's no handheld shower hose. It makes rinsing young kids much more difficult than it should be.
Overall, despite these issues, we had a good stay thanks to the excellent location and decent rooms.

Tasty filling homely food. Good portion sizes and nice environment. Staff very friendly and nice although a little slow with some parts of the service as we were one of the first in for the evening sitting and I think they were still getting a couple of things ready. I had the fish pie and it was a very good large portion and I found it quite nice.

French style restaurant, located opposite Waterloo Station. Very quiet lunchtime in this restaurant / bar. Starters were very average and unappealing. Chicken goujons, deep fried halloumi and calamari, which all looked as though they had just come straight out of the freezer.
Main courses were much better. Moules mariniere and steak frites, which were tasty and definitely more appealing. Service was attentive

July 13th 17:00.
The interior was spacious, quiet, and stylish.
The menu offered a variety of dishes beyond just steak.
The steak itself was tender and juicy.
Featuring a nice balance of lean meat and just the right amount of fat.
The garlic butter steak sauce in particular, paired perfectly with both the steak and the chips.

Very good experience at The Archduke, just a short walk from Waterloo Station. The location is truly unique, set beneath the railway arches with exposed brick walls and vaulted ceilings that create a distinctive and welcoming atmosphere. Despite the trains passing overhead, the noise is never intrusive and conversation remains easy.
We tried the burger, fish & chips, and other meat dishes. While the fish & chips was enjoyable, the real highlights were the burger and the meat. The burger was served without excessive sauces, allowing the quality and flavour of the beef to stand out. A great choice for those looking for good food in a memorable London setting.

Great location, super service. Luke warm welcome and the steak and chips, a rib eye, was expensive at £33 and quite average. My waitress was excellent, Yui, very professional and hands off, yet attentive and engaging. I’ll definitely return, they have a good 2 and 3 course special, which I should have chosen in the first place.

I have been going to the archduke for more than 20 years. I love the live music and the staff are quite friendly and flexible. We celebrated my daughters 19th birthday. The band sang happy birthday. The cocktails were really tasty. I miss the seabass from the menu. It used to be my favourite. Cheese Platter was really good. Quite sophisticated gem in such a busy place. Under a railway bridge

I had dinner at The Firestation in London and decided to try the three small plates special — pork belly bites, fried cauliflower, and crispy BBQ chicken strips — plus a side of sweet potato fries. Overall, I enjoyed the meal except for the cauliflower. The pork belly bites could’ve used more sweet chili sauce, but that was an easy fix after I asked for extra. The garlic sauce that came with the pork belly bites turned out to be surprisingly good on the chicken strips too.
The sweet potato fries were perfectly done — crispy and flavorful. My only hesitation at first was the service. I stood at the hostess desk for about 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me or offered seating, which wasn’t the best first impression. Once I was seated though, my waitress was great — friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the meal.
The setup is interesting — the front of the restaurant is more of a bar area for drinks, while the dining section is toward the back. It definitely has a typical pub vibe, but it worked for a casual dinner. Overall, aside from the rocky start and one miss on the cauliflower, it was a solid experience.

Another of those ‘been past many times but never been in’ places until now. Great venue, very spacious and modern. As the name suggests, a converted fire station right next to Waterloo Station this pub had a good menu where I chose the flatbread with a chicken and chorizo skewer. It was very flavoursome, the meat was ever so slightly over but was still tasty. Staff very friendly and made you feel welcome. Would pop in again when I’m passing next!

I fell in love with this Fire Station conversion, which maintains original facade, front doors and the tiled floor at the bar. Love the concept of fire-hose lamp hangers and coat hooks. Food was great and the staff were very attentive and nice.
Would definitely recommend the rainbow salad and pok belly bites.
Loved the Southern fried chicken burger too.
Only feedback that could be improved, was that there was a blonde hair in the food (long hair so could be from a woman). Just to be a bit more cautious. However that does not affect my overall review.

I was pleasantly surprised by the ultimate beef burger! It was very flavoursome and the portion was perfect! Staff were very kind, and always had a smile on :) I also tried their classic cheesecake, which was very delicious for my sweet tooth! Thank you for having us! ❤️

myself and my partner had a lovely date night here, everything was reasonably priced for the portions you get. the lady who took our drinks order was very lovely and service was quick in both regards of receiving our drinks and food. unfortunately it was more after our meal that we were a bit disappointed by as we were sat for 45 minutes waiting for staff to enquire about our bill or a desserts menu. however the food menu is actually quite diverse with options offered we haven’t seen much of in other places so that was lovely to see.

Fast service, great vibes, mixed feelings on portions!
We had a really fun time at Cubana Waterloo! The service here is super fast and efficient. I didn’t catch our waitress's name, but the Cuban guy from Santiago de Cuba who looked after us was amazing—incredibly helpful, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly.
The food itself was really tasty and full of flavor. However, the portions felt very small, especially considering the dish we ordered was meant to be shared between two people. On the plus side, the cocktail pitcher was a decent, generous quantity and tasted great. The bill felt quite expensive for the amount of food we actually got, but the lively atmosphere, good music, and top-tier staff made up for it. Would definitely come back for the drinks and the vibe!

Cubana was a fantastic surprise. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by vibrant colors, Cuban music, and an atmosphere that instantly transports you to Havana. The décor is full of character, creating a fun and authentic experience.
The food was excellent. The ropa vieja was tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with rice, black beans, and sweet plantains. The tostones with guacamole were fresh, crispy, and a great starter. Portions were generous, and everything tasted freshly prepared.
The drinks menu is impressive, with plenty of mojitos and Cuban-inspired cocktails to choose from. The lively atmosphere makes it a great spot for a casual meal, drinks with friends, or simply soaking up a bit of Caribbean culture in London.
If you're looking for something different from the usual London dining scene, Cubana is definitely worth a visit. Great food, vibrant surroundings, and a welcoming atmosphere made for a memorable experience.
Recommended: Ropa Vieja, Tostones with Guacamole, and of course, a Mojito. 🇨🇺🍹🌴

Went there the other day for the first match of the World Cup and the atmosphere was amazing. Great place and amazing happy hour too! Thanks to Bryan for the amazing cocktails! Also had food (ropa vieja and pollo frito) and it was delicious. Will definetly come back!!

Food was amazing, had the 2 course menu selection. The Croquetas and Ropa Vieja.
But the service was poor, the server got our order wrong multiple times and it wasn’t too busy but our starters came late. We were asked if we wanted all the food, but they forgot and we waited even longer.
Maybe caught them on a poor day, but the food was good and prices good!

Fantastic food, amazing service! Best Indian restaurant in all of London.
No nuts curry! They even had a chart showing which dishes were allergy safe.
When they say spicy, they mean it so be careful in what you order.
I keep thinking about it the next morning. We will definitely go back again before we leave.
Yes, we went back. Still so good.

Lamb biryani - lamb was soft and flavorful. I’m not a fan of cilantro which there was a lot of. The butter chicken was too sweet. Could’ve been a dessert .. if I get a chance to go back, I wouldn’t order the British favorites menu items. Also, Everything is an added cost - It would be nice if each curry included at least rice. Service was great. Very attentive and they really tried to please us. I very much appreciate that.

A small place with a big kitchen! If you like an Indian food (curries, naans, samosas), take a leap of faith and visit the place. You won’t be disappointed. We were looking for a good curry (always a must while in London), and it did not disappoint at all. The food coupled with a cobra beer (with 90°F temperature outside), it was a godsend.

Had a lovely dining experience at The Thames Indian Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavours, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was fresh and perfectly cooked.
The service was excellent — a special thank you to Sab and Mahi, who were both very attentive, friendly, and professional. They made us feel welcome and looked after us throughout the meal.
The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be visiting again!

All of them seems already tired and not wearing any smile. Seems like thats the best they can do that day. The audacity of the guy in charge on taking our bills is even asking for a tip. Asking, oh you didnt like our service?
Actually No, but i changed my mind and gave him a tip even though my friend does not want to give some.
Were not going vack to that branch. I think i know y the resto was not packed. Even though it was so spacious. Theres not a lot ofpeople there.
Its our 1st time on that branch. And been to pizza express for a long time.
I asked how to order on my app. He didnt clarify, that ill need to order to him personally. I thought he wants me to order via online and note the table no. Instead he was SARCASTIC. Even the lady that is serving a pepper seems, she didnt like it when we ask a pepper... not wearing a smile at all. Oh dear...
But good thing the food was so fresh. The salad and pizza was awesome! Veg. was fresh, crispy and has a good balanced dressing. Pizza taste bursting with flavours. Its just a small size or portion of food for the price we paid. A bit dissapointing really.
