5 Star Rating Totally decent hotel, a solid 4.5 stars. Very busy with the tourist trade. Good service (room cleaning, lounge). So-so views. Good location. We had the junior studio. Perfect for family. Quiet rooms despite the busy time.

5 Star Rating Had an excellent stay over the weekend. Great communication from Petra before and after my stay. It has been a long time since a hotel made me feel like a customer. The human touch is appreciated as we don't all want an anonymous electronic check in (that is an option if you want it) A room upgrade which was nice and some very nice touches in the room as it was my husbands birthday. Balloons, cake and wine. If you sign up to the Radisson App you can get a discounts on food and drink in the hotel along with other benefits. The buffet Breakfast was excellent. So much choice and everything freshly cooked and hot. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be favouring Radisson for future hotel bookings.

4 Star Rating This hotel is an excellent value for a family of four, as we stayed for five nights. The location is perfect, as it is walling distance to Big Ben, Westminster and Waterloo, which allowed us to take day trips very easily. I actually preferred staying here than in some of the more popular locations which seems extremely busy, loud and crowded. The bed was comfy, and our children slept on the pullout couch which did the job. The staff was excellent, bringing us towels and responding to requests. There was a great wardrobe and dresser to store our things, and the breakfast that was provided as part of our rate was very nice! Almost anything you could want from eggs, sausage, baked goods, a kids bar, fruit and more. The only reason why I did not rate this a five star is because there were small little things maintenance wise that need to be completed around the room, but nothing too massive. Overall, I recommend it as a great home base for your travels!

5 Star Rating Have stayed here a couple of times. Very good location as only a few minutes walk from Waterloo. Front of house staff are very welcoming, the rooms are very spacious, clean and comfy, and the breakfasts provide meals to suit all tastes. I enjoyed a meal there before heading off to the theatre. Hope to stay there again in the future. Thank you to all the staff for making the stay an enjoyable experience.

5 Star Rating A lovely hotel where no request is too much. The staff go above and beyond to ensure guests’ needs are met. Having stayed here on numerous occasions, I am always impressed when I’m upgraded to a suite as a Radisson club member. The breakfast is delicious with the best in-house granola I’ve ever tasted! Thank you Park Plaza, I’m already looking forward to my next stay.

4 Star Rating Unique experience dining under the railway track and having the place rumble ever once a while. It sort of help digest food a bit better. Joke aside, was there for a planned dinner for a party of 20ish and the order taken were accurate and well prepared. There were no mix up and the steak came at the right requested done-ness. Appetiser were good, except the prawn which were overly fried. The fillet steak can be slightly bigger perhaps as it doesn’t do justice to the experience. Dessert, well, there is always room for more. Drinks were good with selections of local and foreign beer. A good place for group eat if planned ahead with the restaurant!

2 Star Rating I don't like writing bad reviews as I feel like the staff don't deserve it for doing their job. But this meal wasn't good. The reason we came here was to have a reasonable steak, something straight-forward before a movie. We were given a table that allowed us to people watch, which was about the highlight of this visit. The restaurant wasn't too noisy or smelly or anything unpleasant. The food however... it left a lot to be desired. For £34 I'd expect a bloody good ribeye steak and chips. We both ordered one, and what we both got was a thin, overcooked, somewhat tough steak that really didn't come close to medium rare. It tasted and felt like a student cooked it, or a quick fry steak that you cook at home. I couldn't notice the seasoning either. The chips were fine as was the peppercorn sauce (though I've had better for way less) but the sides we had - mushrooms and a house salad - were underwhelming and 'fine' respectively. We considered asking if they botched our order but at that point we were pushing the movie start time so we made do, paid, and left. Honestly I can't recommend this restaurant for the steak, or in general if this is consistent across the menu. I don't think I've paid this much for a disappointing piece of beef until now, which is not a record I was hoping to beat. Hey-ho.

3 Star Rating Hotel is right in the heart of London, directly across the road from Waterloo. The location is fantastic. However, upon check in the receptionist was more interested in her mobile phone messages than checking us in. Her phone was open on the desk and she was scanning and reading her messages whilst she processed our room cards. This for me is unprofessional. The room is basic but fine. Views really good across London. Pillows lumpy bumpy and uncomfortable and the room was like a sauna. The cleaner hadn’t done a good job and a used sanitary towel had been left in the bin The hotel communal areas were clean and well presented and the toilets downstairs clearly recently refurbished and were modern. Yet to have breakfast as I’m awake during the night writing this as the heating generator is so loud I’ve had a terrible nights sleep.

4 Star Rating London celebrates its culinary diversity and this is one of them. Their dim sum's flavours aren't exactly what I called traditional or authentic, but their textures were superb. The dumpling and har gau skins were all fresh, chewy, and well made. The crust of their spring roll and cake were fried to perfection--crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. A harmonious balance of yin and yang. Great effort indeed! Although the flavours aren't traditional, the taste is still delicious and creative at times. All female members of staff (including the manager-looking lady and Aiswarya) were very attentive to customer needs when I was there; while, strangely, the male members never looked at my way when I needed something. No smile on their faces, neither. For first timers, I recommend the set menu (available all day) to try.

3 Star Rating Went for the half price dim sum and cocktail offer between 3-5pm weekdays. Turns out only a small selection you can choose from and mainly dumplings. Portions tiny. Trying to get waiter's attention to serve us was not easy. Once ordered, the food took a while to arrive. Food was mediocre but very very small portions.

4 Star Rating They suggested 3/4 plates per person, I think that was too many 2/3 would have been enough. You tick off what you want from the menu. It all just comes out when it is ready. We went mid week, no need to book. It was nice service, a little cramped and their tables are too small. I would go again & I think if you go as a large group it would be great.

4 Star Rating I’ve been to this chain a few time, first time to southbank. The waiter suggested 4-5 plates between two. We ordered 5 and I left hungry, the portions are quite small so I’d definitely order more. The food was tasty though and the custard buns for dessert were really delicious. I really liked the chicken noodle which I’ve never had before, that flavour was perfect.

3 Star Rating This was my second time at a ping pong, but first time at the south bank one. We came here a couple of weeks back on a Sunday. Some of the dumplings were really delicious. Overall, I thought it was good. The service wasn’t great, I couldn’t telll if some of the staff were new or just didn’t know. We were on the lazy Sunday deal, and the waitress brought something to our table that we didn’t ask for and wasn’t included in the deal ( it was broccoli and it was delicious) . So it was quite annoying to be charged for those plates that we didn’t order but anyways, it was delicious! I still think it’s good for big dinners, just this time wasn’t the best experience.

2 Star Rating Oh my goodness, this had to be the worst pizza and dinning experience I've had in a very, very long time. Our mains were brought before our starters, had to ask where our starters were. When our mains came - the pizza was hard, the crust was burnt as you can see in the pictures. I made them aware and I got an apology. The service was terrible, our waitress was no where to be seen. Nope would not go and dine here again.

3 Star Rating Nice experience. Starters and mains were ok, pizza was over cooked/hard, steaks were chewy, but I think the dessert was the best thing. In a party of 12 we were sat in a rather claustrophobic tunnel. And they forgot few of orders so some peoples starters came late and some peoples mains came late.

Given its rating, we were pleased that the food quality met our already high expectations. The pasta portions are also on the generous side. All the food we had was nice but the chicken took a long time to come, and I wasn't that keen on it - personal preference. Our waitress was very nice too. 5 Star Rating Went for our booked Christmas dinner last 1st December. The table we we're given was lovely and spacious. The restaurant was not packed to the point that it feels stuffy. Food was great overall especially the beef!!! You must get it. Food comes hot and at the same time. 4/5🌟 for the food cos I didn't really enjoy the apple pie. It was too tart and the ice cream was smaller than the universal ice cream scoop serving. For real. 4/5🌟 for the service cos even though we said we're still waiting for someone to arrive, the server bought out the starters without letting us know. It would've been nice if they had check with us. Still a lovely experience and i am still very happy to go back. 😊

3 Star Rating Noisy (lively? 😳) and bustling place with little personality. The food and drink were good but outrageously priced, especially the Chateaubriand. Even discounting for the location, considering the level of the dishes (good but neither particularly creative nor spectacular) the food menu and wines need an overhaul; with an eye on experience and value for money.
