The fish and chips were great, and the service was fast and amazing. Andi, our server, made sure my group and I got our food fast as well as our drinks. He's also very kind which made the experience better.

This place was a wonderful spot to eat lunch 🥗 , but what made it even better was our server! We got fish and chips and they tasted great and the chips 🍟 were definitely better than McDonald’s for sure. Our group loved our server Andi 🤵🏻♂️who was nice to us even though we were American 🇺🇸 annoying tourists. He was fast to help 🏃 , friendly 🤩 , and accommodating to our allergies 🥜 . Give him a raise‼️💯🔥🇬🇧

Our second time here over 9 year period as a tourist, and it’s still a great place. It was even recommended by British friends as a must visit place when dropping into London.
Nothing beats sitting in their outside seatings looking at the parliament view. The beer and fish and chips were well worth it. Very friendly bartenders.

*★★★★★ 5/5 STARS*
I had a great experience at St Stephen's Tavern. Our server, Andi, was very pleasant and cheerful. Made our dining experience enjoyable.
We were a group of 3, and we split the fish and chips - it was delicious. Andi timed everything perfectly, bringing out our food and drinks on schedule. We had a couple of beers and a cocktail, all of which were good.
Andi's cheerfulness made our experience pleasant and relaxed. I recommend St Stephen's Tavern and Andi. Will definitely be back.

The place is full and nice, the staff are great.
the fish and chips was more battered than reasonable, I hardly found fish in it
the hallomi cheese was a better enjoyment than my favorite dish, the fish and chips

We loved the Red Lion! We were there for lunch on a Friday & the place was packed, but the waitress was absolutely amazing & did her best to see that everyone was accommodated & happy. She was so friendly & helpful.
The pub itself is beautifully restored & has an incredible history to it.
Food was very tasty with generous portions. We didn't have the fish & chips. However, from those that we saw- the serving of fish was absolutely huge!
Definitely recommend this quintessentially English pub.

The Red Lion Pub is a must-visit destination for anyone in the area, especially if you’re looking for a traditional and casual experience. Established in the 1400s, the pub exudes historical charm, and this is evident as soon as you step inside. The dining room is located upstairs, where we enjoyed lunch twice during our visit—proof that the food is both delicious and worth returning for. The pub also offers a selection of excellent beers, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Given its quality and atmosphere, we’re confident that the Red Lion will become one of our favorite places to stop by whenever we’re in the area. Additionally, its location in the heart of London, near key landmarks related to the English government, makes it an even more appealing choice for both locals and tourists alike.

My wife and I always stop at the Red Lion when we travel to London, it's right across the street from the Prime Minister's residence at #10 Downing Street and has been a favorite haunt of British politicians for generations.
Above the bar is the bell which calls MP's and Lords back to Parliament for votes or other procedures. A classic English pub with an extensive history dating back to 1434, and was one of countless London pubs where the notorious drinker and sometimes author, Charles Dickens, was reported to have visited.
We visited on Remembrance Day and Westminster was full of soldiers and sailors in uniform. As a US Navy veteran who sometimes operated with the Royal Navy, it was my pleasure to buy pints for an impressive and professional group of young RN sailors and regale them with stories of the Cold War and my memories of shore leave with the sailors of the HMS Yarmouth back in the 80's.

Working with Letticia was a dream!!!! She and her team were so professional and courteous.
They catered to every demand and request we had. The venue was so beautifully decorated, with all the vendors working well and efficiently to ensure that the wedding was epic!!!
Despite the long hours, Leticia ensured that we were well accommodated.
The bride and groom and their guests had so much fun.
I definitely recommend this venue for your weddings, special events, and occasions.

Superb food, drink and atmosphere. Was fortunate enough to be invited and it did not disappoint. The room is steeped in history, if only the walls could talk! I'd love to return.

Very good option to be able to eat or drink something without having to leave the museum and be able to continue with the visit. The menu is quite limited in terms of options, but the food is very good. They don't serve beer. Very attentive and friendly staff, with a person who speaks Spanish and helps you choose.
