Had an amazing time dinning here! The service was great, food tasted delicious and cooked to perfection. Started off with some fried calamari and complimentary bread. We ordered two mojitos. I got the filet mignon, my partner got the ribeye. We also got the mashed potatoes side dish. Everything was really yummy. Highly recommended going here. I will definitely be returning and trying their different dishes.

The service was definitely great. Fast and friendly staff. They deserved the 18% priced-in gratuity. (I usually disagree with priced in, but they were worth it)
The food was 6/10 at best. I ordered a medium-well T-bone that ended up being served medium anyway.
The meat itself was lacking any seasoning and required a hefty amount of salt on each cut of meat. (And I am salt sensitive, so that should tell you something) It was also difficult to both cut into and to chew.
This means that either the quality of meat was poor, the chef didnt know how to cook it, or both.
The steak could have also had some char/ sear but didnt. I cook better steaks myself and im not a chef by any standard, nor do I have the facilities that a restaurant does.
The fries were okay and I didnt touch the bread, but it did look good.
The whiskey sour was watery. Theyre supposed to knock you on your a* so you crave another one. LoL
The ambiance was okay. More akin to a TGI Fridays than say, Gallaghers.
The female staff were all extremely good-looking and im a 30 year old athlete myself.
If you want to go out and enjoy a steak but on a budget, this is a solid choice but I dont think i'll be returning.

Came here for my boyfriend's birthday and had a great time! Took a bit long to get seated even with a reservation, but the food was terrific (GENEROUS portions) and service was great.

The waiter couldn't hear us because the music was so loud. I ordered shrimp cocktail that never came. I don't go out to eat to hear loud music but to talk with the people I'm out with but I believe it's one if those restaurants that blast music so customers just eat & leave. Wasn't expecting an expensive steakhouse to blast music like a night club to the point conversation has to be yelled or non-existent. Won't return.

The food was good, the service was okay - nothing special; I was hoping more hospitality like some other Cuban places in NYC/NJ, and the music was good but I’m sure it would be better on a live entertainment night.
If 20% gratuity is added to a party of 5.5 (we had 1 child) then I would expect better service. Also the wait was long considering it wasn’t that busy. Otherwise could have been 5 stars.

Let me say this is one of the best experiences I ever had in the restaurant: I felt so much like home there . I started the year with a great experience when I decided to go to this restaurant to celebrate my mom on one the coldest day in Jan 2024 and May I add I’m glad I trusted my gut . The lady and gentleman working there was so accepting and accommodating of me being late . Long story it was empty , clean and the food was excellent. I would encourage you to try their drinks which was strong and good ; the sauce for the bananas was amazing . I can’t wait to visit again . I felt a lot of culture and that is what we want , hidden gem Trust me if you went to just get wings on their happy hours I’m sure you will not be disappointed but even a romantic dinner would be just as successful

Service was spotless. Jonathan and Kathy were more than amazing! 100% recommended. Coconut mojito hit the right spot and the passionfruit juice also was pretty fresh. We tried the Paella and the Palomilla. Everything was well seasoned and the portions were huge, we still took a lot to go. Definitely coming back!!!

Randomly walked in yesterday and this place is really cool. Very nice vibe and not too overwhelming. I was craving a sandwich and when I found out they infact did have the Cuban sandwich on the menu, (my favorite sandwich), I had to get it. This was my favorite Cuban Sandwich I've ever had. Major points to them because when I've had Cuban Sandwiches from other places, something was off each time. This one was so good from the portion size to the bread texture and flavor combination. My server was Daniela and she was amazing. She was kind, sweet and really knew what she was doing. She also made some delicious classic Mojitos that were on their happy hour menu (from 12-7pm). I'm not typically in Harlem but if I am in that area again, I'm definitely going there.
One thing to note though. If you're the type that typically pays for your meals using smart pay, they don't accept that yet so make sure you plan accordingly and bring classic payment methods.

I don’t know if it was this particular day but since it was my first time- I can only talk about my experience-with that being said here’s the positive: ITS PET FRIENDLY!! Which is Amazing and I found this to be super considerate of the owner. The vibe is a nice. It has nice music and the layout is very cozy! The appetizer was delicious I got the alcapurria. The waitress was very sweet and attentive.
Now for the cons: so they give us menus but since we went at 2pm they only sell brunch which I didn’t know. I guess because they add and egg and that’s considerate brunch? In any case the food was bland and nothing extravagant that warranted the price. The pernil was dry and we were expecting a Puerto Rican flavor. Now we also got the chicken stew which was NOT appealing and frankly I only took a bite and left the rest. The sauce was very watery and just blah.
They gave us a drink menu and all the nice drinks were not available?? I thought the drinks were very expensive.
And lastly we had to get up to ask for this and that. Overall I didn’t like this restaurant and just a waste of money. I should’ve gone to the little shop in the corner and I bet the food would’ve been better and more economical. Last time coming here.

Came here on a Pulsd deal. Sometimes those Pulsd and Groupon deals are kinda a swindle if you will. What you spend on the deal plus what you have to spend in store equals out to if you had just went to the restaurant somehow. It's wild.
But.
This Pulsd deal was a home run!
I ordered the Pollo Guisado A Caballo (Pic with the soup bowl) and The 2 Chuletas & Rice.
Food was DELICIOUS. So good that I'm like who cares about the deal. You get a lot of food and it's SOOOOO GOOD.
The Pollo Guisado had this broth that was SOO good and you can take some and pour it over your rice. That's what I did and it set everything OFF.
The 2 Chuletas and rice was flavorful as well and the rice was outstanding once I put the broth from the other dish over it!
Service was lacking because there were a few new ppl waiting (per the owner). He definitely tried his best to cover for all of them and he did a good job.
I'd definitely come back in a heartbeat and plan on to get that food again. You should come here too! Loads of food for what you pay AND the food is SCRUMPTIOUS.

We went this time specifically for the featured Black Rican Vegan menu options which didn’t disappoint at all. The vegan servings were delicious and healthy portions. My favorite were the trio of Pastelillos Flight including the Guava and Cheese, Chickpea and Potato and very seasoned yummy vegan beef. The atmosphere and decor always colorful and tasteful. What needs improvement is their service. The team felt like they were constantly in the weeds. They were all super friendly but just some basic training like assigning dishes so they go to right people and also fixing mistake orders properly. They forgot the pernil in their regular brunch menu, Eggs Benedict dish. They brought it out a few minutes as large side portion but you go to a restaurant for the experience and presentation which obviously was not executed. The other confusing issue was we had two servers that were approaching us asking the same things. Though they were both friendly and eager, the uncoordinated tag team was overkill. Overall we still had a great time but hope they take this as constructive criticism.

Originally, we were in the area for another restaurant, but that restaurant closed early because they were running out of food. So, we did a search and came across this place. It had great reviews, so we figured we'd try it.
We waited about 10 minutes to be seated. We were seated right underneath a speaker, and it was so loud that we could barely hear each other speak. It took about 30 minutes for our order to be taken, and another 40 minutes after that for our food to come out. We ordered the pigeon peas with rice/roast pork, and the shrimp mofongo. The food LOOKED great on the plate, but the rice and pernil was on the verge of being too salty, and the mofongo was extremely bland. I also ordered a seltzer (requested it two times, once when we initially ordered, and asked for it again when they served the food) and it was finally brought WITH the check...
Overall, the food wasn't worth the wait and the service is seriously lacking. I wouldn't go back here again.

This place is definitely worth stopping in. The Quesadilla Flor de Calabaza is spectacular. This is the only restaurant that I know makes this entree. The guacamole and margaritas are amazing. Although when you ask for spicy guac, it is just regular guac....

Really homey, authentic, delicious food with the most sincere and kind chef/waiter. You can tell the business is run by the family, and their food is made with love and with pride. The prices are really good - we had enchiladas, guacamole, and bistec azteca - and all three really hit the spot, we left feeling full and happy.

First visit here and I said hello but no one said anything back.
I really hope this food is good. Im having the steak entrée and my husband is having chicken with avocado. Its going to be a
take-out order so ill update this review once we eat(only if it is good). This is definitely a family restaurant because they posted up behind the counter like security. Im hoping for the best but although we wear mask due to covid,
I spoke very loudly and no one said a word.
They didnt even ask can we help you or even attempt to hand me a menu nor tell me where the menu's are.. (3 ppl just stared from behind the partition) I figured it out on my own lol
Maybe because I dont speak spanish.
The lady spoke great english who took my order which I found interesting being nobody said anything.
Maybe next time ill say HOLA instead of HELLO.
I hope these reviews are right about the food because I didnt feel welcome but im in the mood for mexican food and this was of convenience at this time.
Food was done quickly. 20 minute or less.
UPDATE:(The food was great)

Gaudir is now open 6 evenings a week (and for breakfast on weekends too) and I finally made it there. In the year or so I’ve heard if it, it’s only been open on Mondays and now I’m sorry I hadn’t been there sooner. The food is really good, the room is now a little different than it had been when it was Mountain Bird (new tables, artwork, a bit more lighting, and a bigger bar with a few seats), and the staff is incredibly friendly, including the chef who visits the tables and serves some dishes himself! We went two nights in a row and highly recommend the Gaudir salad, the eggplant dish with anchovy, the ham — not to be missed— and the churros (though I prefer them without the chocolate.). I took a photo of the mushroom dish but I didn’t eat it because I was too full thanks to our over ordering but I’m including it because it’s so beautiful.

I just catered a party for 60 people in my home using Tastings NYC and it was terrific working with them. I wanted an elegant rehearsal dinner with a cocktail hour and a sit down dinner. The staff showed up early and set up the entire indoor dining area. During the party, we started with an open bar and hors d'ouevres outside. The bar tender was excellent and the passed hors d'ouevres were tasty and terrific. We then went downstairs for dinner and had a choice of Miso Cod or Korean Short ribs. Both were excellent. We had great side dishes as well. For dessert, we had opera cake and blueberry cobbler. The staff was incredibly attentive and accommodating to the adjustments I made during the evening. At the end, my place was clean and items were neatly staged for pickup by the party rental company. Franck was our contact at Tastings, he was great. I would work with him again in a heartbeat. Our captain for the evening was Peter. He was also amazing.
Overall, I highly recommend these folks and will use them for my next party.

We used Tastings NYC to cater a very small corporate on-site event (six people) and they were excellent. I tried to order from them online but the site wasn't cooperating so I gave them a call to see if they could assist. I worked with Kenwyn who was extremely gracious, professional, and took good care of us.
This order was a little bit last-minute but Kenwyn consistently kept us in the loop with our order and stayed on top of all our changes and requests. The on-site attendees raved about the food and the service was top-notch. Thanks for coming through for us, and for being so reliable and professional.

Lovely Japanese and French restaurant for true foodies who appreciate creativity and authenticity presented in quality and fresh ingredients. Just take a few minutes to read the menu and you will understand what I mean.

The Mac and cheese does not have a pleasant taste. Asked for onions for my steak and def wasn’t what I expected. Terrible. Should’ve not been greedy and stick to my main order which it was steak & bbq chicken, my free salad was better than the actually sides I paid for.
