Went here to celebrate my birthday last week and not going to lie it was a nice little vibe. We got there at 8:30 and it was busy in there. The waiting wasn’t too bad due to us making reservations ahead of time so that worked in our favor. The music was good and the waiter greeted us in less than five minutes after we sat. The drinks was very good and not watered down. We ordered appetizers and to my surprise it came really fast and it was VERY good. The environment is kid friendly and you could definitely take your kids there to eat and have a good time with the family. They have a wide selection of food and drinks to choose from and for the seafood lovers you will not regret going there. Overall a nice dining experience and the prices aren’t cheap but still affordable. Our bill came up to over $300 including gratuity.

I love the atmosphere...positive vibrations across the board! Food was excellent great portions shrimp 🍤 & grits was chef kiss 💋 Drinks were amazing. I had the Passion fruit Margaritas 🍹 😋 omg so good love the experience will definitely be heading back 🙌🏽 very soon.

The food was amazing. Never a miss. The best part of my experience was my server Cassandra the girl with the red hair. She was very attentive and made sure everything was made to my liking. I need a Ricardo’s day once a month. There’s not too many places in Westchester with a vibe like Ricardo’s and servers like Cassandra!

Hi , tonight was my first at this restaurant. The service was prompt, hospitality was excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful. Met the owners too Eddie, Jimmy, good people. The entrees were so clean, tasty will be coming back again, prices are affordable too.

Amazing pizza! Punto y fin. I was so happy to be back in New York for the holidays and I wanted to hit my favorite local spot that has been there for years. I was born and raised in East Harlem. My wife and daughter were familiar with as well when she lived with me in NY for three years. It did not disappoint and well worth it to go a bit out of our way and swing back to my old hood! The pizza was fresh and delicious and was as good as I remember!!! It has changed management a few times but the quality of the pizza is still superb and they way NY pizza is supposed to taste!! We were so happy it was just as good as we remember!! These folks never disappoint. You want real pizza this is it. Look it up and go off the grid a bit to grab a slice! You will not regret it!

For $13, this massive entree of chicken parmigiana with three whole pieces of chicken breast is an absolute steal. The flavor is also there. I would go again.

So delicious. I saw someone eating a pizza in the train station. It smelled so fresh I asked where and went back out to get one. It’s so delicious, perfect. The ingredients taste like quality fresh basil and a nice variety with great prices Great pizza

I love it here, great pizza, great non pizza dishes. I live for the Alfredo pasta and these pepperoni pizzas in these circular roles. Love the service even in rush hour.

I order the mini pizzas (1 pepperoni and 1 vodka) I called to see what size a mini pizza is because there were no pictures online to show me and the gentleman was kind enough to let me know over the phone theat they are about 12inches. Their vodka pizza was AMAZING like I want to order it everyday amazing. The pepperoni which is usually my favorite idk it just was lacking something to me. It wasn't bad at all but it also wasn't great. I would order the the vodka pizza again. (I can't add photos to my review for some reason☹️)

La Fonda on 106th Street has a really great vibe. The space is decorated with beautiful photographs of Puerto Rico that give the restaurant a warm, authentic feel right when you walk in. The food itself was good and definitely enjoyable. You can tell there’s care put into the dishes, and the flavors didn’t disappoint. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. We waited quite a while just to place our drink order, and it took another long stretch for the drinks to arrive. The wait for the food was just as long, and to make it more frustrating, tables that were seated after us were served before we were. That said, the owner was behind the bar and came across as sincere and invested in the restaurant. With some improvements to the service, this place has the potential to really match its great atmosphere and solid food. I’d give it another try hoping the service catches up to everything else.

Great service, great food and atmosphere. The best Puerto Rican cuisine in El Barrio. The pernil and rice are so good, the bacalaitos amazing and the best so far are the Mallorcas shipped weekly from Puerto Rico. Can’t get more authentic than that! Drinks are great as well. The staff is great and the owner is prime example of amazing customer service! Highly recommended 10/10

Food was really delicious! I have to say this is one of my favorite puertorican restaurants in the city as a puertorican raised my whole life in the island. I would say service could be a little better as the waitress wasn’t that friendly or helpful. Another waitress took care of us for a moment but one of the sauces got spilled while moving them to the other side of the table and idk if she didn’t notice but she left the table. We had to ask for napkins so we could clean it. The owner had came to us prior all of this to explain what events they had going on so that was nice to see service at its best. Would come back for service improvement and food with the same expectations!

The food was delicious. Unfortunately, our puneta cocktail took more than an hour to arrive, despite us asking our server and the manager about it 4 times while every other table got their drinks. (Fourth time was me trying to cancel the order because we had finished our dinner by then.) And when we got the puneta cocktails, they tasted like orange juice that had gone bad with awful sour and bitter taste. We left our glasses nearly full. I tried to flag the issue with the manager so he could check the quality of his ingredients and not serve expired juice or cocktail mixes but he repeatedly cut me off and instead vented to us about being on the phone to fix his ticketing system, which he claimed was the cause of the delay. When I asked if I could share a feedback, the manager said, “No, I’m doing you a favor by coming over to explain why your drinks were delayed.” To the restaurant’s credit, they didn’t charge us for the cocktails after we asked for them to be taken off the check. I really enjoyed the food (bravo to the chef & kitchen staff!) but the manager’s attitude and the foul-tasting cocktail left a bad taste on an otherwise good evening with friends. One star for the food and one star for our server who did his best.

A safe heaven for many can drivers that, for years, keep coming back for genuine, home-made specialties. While the place is simple, the food is excellent. This is a 'find' if you are looking for true, down-to-earth, ethnic food.

What a hidden gem. Everything dish was yummy. I love their mole selection. Mole cocktails, salmon mole with white chocolate and roses 🌹, mole lava cake. Everything dtink was a bit. Great bartenders. Beautiful decor and murals. Fun place. Went back for chicken mole and chorizo sopes. Epic and phenomenal.

Nice Resturant, nice ambience and music. It was taco Tuesday when we went and it had regular tacos for $3 each, achicken, carnitas and so on, minimum two of the same tacos per order, but it usually comes in an order of 3 of the same tacos. So if you order chicken it has to be at least an order of 2 chicken tacos, you weren’t allowed to mix and match. I don’t understand the point of this, what if I order a taco and don’t like it, I’ll have another two or one of the same taco that I didn’t like and have to eat, other wise throw it away along with my money. Thankfully I ordered the Birria tacos in an order of 3, at $6 a taco, at that price I should be able to mix and match my order, the other meats amongst that price point were asado and shrimp, which I would have loved to have tried, but wasn’t able to because of the silly rule. If I’m being charged individually for a single taco, why should I be forced to put in an order of 3, minimum 2 of the same tacos. I usually cry when I have to pay $5 for a taco, but I paid $6 and couldn’t mix and match my order on taco Tuesday. Thankfully at first bite the Birria tacos were juicy, flavorful, small, but filled with meat. It also had cheese in it which made it better. I traded my taco for an asada taco with my friend and didn’t really enjoy the asada taco, it was ok at best, it had a cooked on a gas grill flavor. The red sauce was ok, was told it was spicy and it wasn’t, but thankfully the green sauce that wasn’t suppose to be spicy had some kick to it. It also came with a small little shot of the beef brew it’s cooked in where I was able to dip the tacos. It had a nice chile de árbol in there which gave it some kick. The food was great but the policy of minimum 3-2 tacos an order of the same taco is silly if I’m paying for each taco individually. Like for specialty tacos like birria and shrimp, I understand that an order of 3 should come at a fixed price. But this wasn’t the case lol. I feel like I should have paid $15 instead of $18, but they were pretty good and flavorful, not every Resturant gets the Birria taco recipe right, but they make them pretty good here in my opinion.

Dined in around 3-4pm & it was basically empty. Their enchiladas verdes de pollo was amazing & a perfect portion, although it only came with one slice of avocado. Excited to come back & try the other dishes ! Server did her best to make sure she got the orders correct & would let you know if the kitchen could accommodate a certain diet. My friends also coined the jukebox here a "ghost jukebox" since it frequently went off on it's own & would stop playing randomly too. Something to keep in mind if you're trying to hold a conversation during your meal.

I loved this place, stopped in for lunch real quick and the food came out so fast and it was delicious, I wish I had taken a photo of the food before I ate it all but I would recommend this place to anyone. Staff was friendly and extremely attentive too.

I’ve been to another one of their locations, but I actually like this one better. The portion sizes were more generous, while the food quality, flavor, and service were just as good. The shrimp and whiting were seasoned perfectly, and they paired really well with the chipotle sauce. I ordered the shrimp and fish combo, which came with two sides. For about $26, I got five shrimp, two pieces of whiting filet, mac and cheese, and fries. I thought it was a great value for the amount of food. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Yams were horrible.. fish needed salt the Mac n cheese wasn’t too bad that’s why I put two stars Collard were bland they need to have a pork option with that . Oh they did give extra piece of fish I guess because $22 for two pieces is absurd! Go at your own risk

I have been a customer for over 20 years, from the Original on 125th Street, the food is fresh and delicious. The portions are great and the prices are affordable. Not to mention the customer service.... they look out for the community & everyone!! The best grab and go experience ever. The food "never" dissapoints, it's always tasty..!!!

The Mac and cheese does not have a pleasant taste. Asked for onions for my steak and def wasn’t what I expected. Terrible. Should’ve not been greedy and stick to my main order which it was steak & bbq chicken, my free salad was better than the actually sides I paid for.

5 stars all the way. From the first day I stepped into the establishment until now there have been no complaints. Matter of fact every single time we went to buy food my husband and I always left more happy than the last time we stopped by. This place is worth your purchase. Also some spots sell fish and it's not that great but this spot has fresh fish all the time and it's amazing. The community agrees that when it comes to their chicken and fish they both are 50/50 to one another. The fish is so crispy and not dry, also not super salty. Oh my goodness their banana pudding YUM! 😋 Their desert are so delicious.
