5 Star Rating The garlic bread was absolutely perfect! Warm, nice crisp, buttery and garlic to match! Liked the choice of tap or sparkling water. Choose the sparkling! Our waiter was very attentive and I informed. The calamari was fresh, lightly breaded and fried to perfection. I had the surf and turf. The filet was done and melt in your mouth soft. The spinach was a bit soggy and drowned in the mashed potatoes. However the spinach gave a mild garlic flavor to the potatoes making the delight. The shrimps were done and still soft. However no distinguishing flavor. It was a beautiful night at a beautiful spot!

5 Star Rating I went here for a holiday dinner w work friends. The outside is festive with lights and decorations. The inside was also very happy. The service was polite and consistent. They helped my coworker figure out a dish. The food was top notch. Big portions, tasty sauces and sides and meat was cooked to perfection. I got the filet mignon and had no issue finishing it off. It was super tasty. The drinks were also good 👍 recommend it for sure. Oh I almost forgot they play good up beat music and if it's your bday there's sparklers,!!

5 Star Rating My boyfriend and I came here today. We were looking for nice steakhouses in the city and I came across this one on Maps. We looked at the online menu and decided this place seemed worth checking out. We got here a little earlier than the dinner start time at 5pm, so we killed time at the bar sipping some cocktails. The You Don't Know Jack and Naughty Girl were both respectfully good. When we were eventually seated, we had the shrimp cocktail and meatballs for appetizers. The 3 meatballs were juicy and tender, and the shrimps came with 3 jumbo ones, nice and refreshing. For entrees, he got the penne al la vodka with rigatoni pasta and I got the NY strip. Dessert? The lava cake and cheesecake. Everything was delicious. The service was splendid, friendly and professional. I can definitely see myself coming back here. If you're a lover of 80s 90s and early 2000s music, you'll love this place. 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

5 Star Rating My husband and I had a fabulous time and delicious meals on Valentine’s date night. My husband had a skirt steak that was done perfectly medium rare and its blue cheese sauce was very tasty. I ordered a branzino that was crispy and delicious. The atmosphere was very lively with two women guitarists who were awesome players and lovely voices accompanied by fantastic drummer. We were fully satisfied and decided we must come back again👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

5 Star Rating If you want to have a great experience with amazing food, this is the place you’ll find it. Authentic puertorriqueño cuisine in the heart of East Harlem with a friendly staff. There’s a bit of a wait for food, but that’s appreciated once you take a bite. Quality takes time. Def will be back.

2 Star Rating As a Puerto Rican from the Bronx, I went with high expectations after hearing about this place from a friend. I like the atmosphere, and the wait time wasn't bad for me. The manager was a great host too. However, the food was entirely bland. I had a shrimp Mofongo that was more like mangu. It lacked the classic texture not to mention the garlic sauce didn't taste like garlic or seasoned for that matter. If they used butter, it was unsalted. Not to mention half the menu wasn't available to order.

5 Star Rating La Fonda was a place where the food was good. The drinks were great and the service was phenomenal. My gut literally led me there since o was so hungry, And i was glad it did. The brunch menu was superb. I could not decide what to get since i wanted a bit of everything. But i went with the mofongo. I've eaten this dish everywhere and i have to say La Fonda's Mofongo met the standard. The service (as i stated) was phenomenal. Waiter checked on my girls and my every need. The Bartender came to get critiques on the cocktail; which was a decent old fashioned. Our rainy day was met by an oasis of savory in a dish and bliss in a glass (La Fonda ya'll should patent that). I'm not done i will return. Complements to the cheffs and the bartender.

The aesthetic of the pace is pretty nice, I like the outside set up and it’s pretty up to date and clean I had the 3 birria tacos with a margarita and it was good. I really enjoyed the mariachi they had with the lead singer singing directly to you, making time stop for a whole song of your choice. I loved it, he sang “amor eterno” by rocio durcal amazing performance that was

3 Star Rating First visit here and I said hello but no one said anything back. I really hope this food is good. Im having the steak entrée and my husband is having chicken with avocado. Its going to be a take-out order so ill update this review once we eat(only if it is good). This is definitely a family restaurant because they posted up behind the counter like security. Im hoping for the best but although we wear mask due to covid, I spoke very loudly and no one said a word. They didnt even ask can we help you or even attempt to hand me a menu nor tell me where the menu's are.. (3 ppl just stared from behind the partition) I figured it out on my own lol Maybe because I dont speak spanish. The lady spoke great english who took my order which I found interesting being nobody said anything. Maybe next time ill say HOLA instead of HELLO. I hope these reviews are right about the food because I didnt feel welcome but im in the mood for mexican food and this was of convenience at this time. Food was done quickly. 20 minute or less. UPDATE:(The food was great)

5 Star Rating Gaudir is now open 6 evenings a week (and for breakfast on weekends too) and I finally made it there. In the year or so I’ve heard if it, it’s only been open on Mondays and now I’m sorry I hadn’t been there sooner. The food is really good, the room is now a little different than it had been when it was Mountain Bird (new tables, artwork, a bit more lighting, and a bigger bar with a few seats), and the staff is incredibly friendly, including the chef who visits the tables and serves some dishes himself! We went two nights in a row and highly recommend the Gaudir salad, the eggplant dish with anchovy, the ham — not to be missed— and the churros (though I prefer them without the chocolate.). I took a photo of the mushroom dish but I didn’t eat it because I was too full thanks to our over ordering but I’m including it because it’s so beautiful.

5 Star Rating I just catered a party for 60 people in my home using Tastings NYC and it was terrific working with them. I wanted an elegant rehearsal dinner with a cocktail hour and a sit down dinner. The staff showed up early and set up the entire indoor dining area. During the party, we started with an open bar and hors d'ouevres outside. The bar tender was excellent and the passed hors d'ouevres were tasty and terrific. We then went downstairs for dinner and had a choice of Miso Cod or Korean Short ribs. Both were excellent. We had great side dishes as well. For dessert, we had opera cake and blueberry cobbler. The staff was incredibly attentive and accommodating to the adjustments I made during the evening. At the end, my place was clean and items were neatly staged for pickup by the party rental company. Franck was our contact at Tastings, he was great. I would work with him again in a heartbeat. Our captain for the evening was Peter. He was also amazing. Overall, I highly recommend these folks and will use them for my next party.

5 Star Rating We used Tastings NYC to cater a very small corporate on-site event (six people) and they were excellent. I tried to order from them online but the site wasn't cooperating so I gave them a call to see if they could assist. I worked with Kenwyn who was extremely gracious, professional, and took good care of us. This order was a little bit last-minute but Kenwyn consistently kept us in the loop with our order and stayed on top of all our changes and requests. The on-site attendees raved about the food and the service was top-notch. Thanks for coming through for us, and for being so reliable and professional.
