This place was nice and low key. We ordered boneless 10 piece with honey bbq and medium buffalo. We did not wait long our food was hot and tasty! Bomb wing spot especially if you had some drink!

Great Staff always friendly and quick. The Boss made a mistake on my order. I came back to let him know while he was busy, yet he stepped aside and helped me anyways. Good food but Great people!

Onion rings were a zero. Not a good sign when they are all identical to each other. Chicken wings good. Waffle fries didn’t deliver so well but are high quality.

We has the lamb shawarma which was quite tough and dry. The hummus was good. Service was very good too. There's live music playing in the basement so it could get noisy and loud.

Finding this place by accident was pure luck. Excellent standards define the cuisine here. We got large amounts of food and everything tasted good. Their team stays focused on customer satisfaction. Silvana delivered on every front.

Silvana's atmosphere is quite cozy and makes you feel at home. The seating in the cafe was communal so you may sit with other patrons depending on how busy it is. The service was generally good but it felt that they forgot about my date and I at times. I was curious to try their shakshuka and it was spot on with the spices and heat level. The dish came in a small cast iron pan which I really liked but it would've been good to see the eggs on top, sunnyside up. Unfortunately, some of the egg sank below the tomato sauce and got burnt.

Went for lunch. Cute place with nice vibe, had to wait a little to get seats at a very wobbly table. Staff was nice and friendly. Part of the reason we came was because we knew they had a gluten free menu, as one of our family members has celiac. He wanted to order the schnitzel, which was listed as GF on the menu, but we double checked it, and it actually wasn't! So he got the salmon salad. He said the salmon was very dry. I ordered falafels - which were very good, and the shakshuka, which I didn't really care for. It was covered in green olives and feta, and I had to dig to find the eggs. The tomato sauce was overly spicy and I left most of it over. The chicken shawarma was too bland, and the fluffy potato chips were ok. Overall, not sure if we will be back, or maybe only to buy something from the cute shop that is in the front area that sells jewelry bags and scarves. Disappointed

The chicken and waffles here ended up being 90% waffle, like 10% chicken, which was pretty disappointing.
Seriously, it was actually kind of amusing how small the chicken was compared to the size of the waffle. They put the eggs on top at first to cover it up, but it becomes clear once you take the egg off.
Other than the tiny chicken, though, this meal wasn't bad. It came with country gravy and two eggs as a side - both of which were decent enough; my eggs were cooked a bit over-hard rather than over-medium, but not too bad.
The waffles were really good. While I did have to ask for syrup from the server - it was very dry before that - after the syrup the experience became a lot better. These waffles were nice and thick throughout.
The chicken was not good. There was absolutely no crust on the outside - I'm not even sure this was fried chicken; it just seems to have been baked. That certainly is not what one expects with a chicken and waffles dish. Just really bad.
It's also just incomprehensible to me why there was a massive amount of a lettuce salad in the middle of this dish. Like why
The price is the one thing that's not terrible here, as it cost less than 20 bucks for this plus a mimosa. That's a pretty good deal
Overall, I've had a lot of chicken and waffles, but this might be the worst of the bunch. 3.5/10

Their food was good. I had an HT burger n truffle fries, which was delicious, Latisha had the jerk quesadilla, and Robinson had calamari and fish 🌮. The service was good. She was caring, making sure we were good and had everything we wanted. When the check came, we told her how much to charge, but she winded up charging $2 extra. Our total was $82.20 she charged $84.20, plus we gave her the 20% tip. She deserved it, but let us give it to you. She seemed to be the only waitress on the floor that I had seen, and it could have been a mistake also...all is forgiven. The atmosphere was a laid-back cool vibe. Music R & B was playing, not loud, just right. We had a great time and will go back again.

My friend brought me here for my birthday. My first time here. The food was delicious we tried a new item on the menu that was a healthier version of pizza I believe it was called flatbread pizza. It was delicious (& I am picky). I had a chicken sandwich with fries and chicken tenders. Super good. The drinks were great. We had Casamigos margaritas. Will be returning. Our server, Kam was wonderful.

Nice restaurant, not too big or small. There were two sides, both had seating area but one side had a bar. I tried the jerk oxtails which were small, but seasoned very well and I received a good portion.
My son enjoyed the chicken and waffles, which was probably our favorite.
The short ribs were also seasoned well, but overcooked. Overall, I enjoyed and would go again.

I loved Melba’s. This was a real treat. I am grateful for my experience at Melba’s. The food was 🔥🔥🔥. They accidentally spiled a drink on one of my friends and compensated us well for the accident. Much respect for making things right abd going above and beyond. The Jamaican oxtails were the right decision along with sweet potatoes and greens. The cakes were delicious as well. I appreciated the art work inside. I would definitely go back!

Fantastic food! Great stop after exploring Central Park North. Braised short ribs were amazing. Had the mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach with it!! Everything was spot on. Had 2 of Melba’s HIT (Harlem iced tea) they were really great. Took a piece of sweet potato pie to go too. My daughter had the sliders and a side of fries. She loved them. French fries were hot and crispy. Tuquan took care of us. He was kind and efficient.

The location is small and intimate, clean and well maintained for the volume of clientele in the location the bathrooms were used but servicable. They could have used a lite touch up i.e. wipe down the countertops and freshen up the toilets and sweep or run a quick mop. There was no odor or grime just indications of consistent usage. The food was very good especially the oxtail. I had the oxtail, yams & greens. My wife had the beet salad, greens & potato salad. We shared our dishes. The yams were sweet and very delicious here they make hot (spicy) greens they are delicious but have water available. The beets in the salad were fresh earthy and very tasty I didn't eat much of her salad as I had quite a decent amount of food to finish myself as they give good serving sizes here. My wife says the salad was delicious. The potatoes salad in our opinions was good but the least spectacular dish of all. The service was good, I would say it was attentive & respectful. With that New York energy ( directness). I asked for a water refill and had to ask a second time as the waitress forgot me (a minor but noted inconvience). We also had two drinks which were very nice I had the Harlem tea and the misses had the rum punch my wife also had a lemonade and said it was too sweet. You could make two drinks out of it. By getting water and cutting it. All in all the bill came up to $99 and some change $108 and some change with tax and with tip $126 and some change. About average now a days for dining out and not near as bad as I have experienced. Make a reservation I saw people attempting to walk up and were in for a wait as the place was packed. This is a place if you are in the area you should visit.

Wow. This place is everything I wanted. Great music from the past. Cute window private seating. A nice bar and restaurant. Massaiel the bar tender. She was fantastic, kind, and made the best drinks. The lavender lychee Martini and Harlem dandy iced tea drinks may have been the best I’ve had in years. I ordered from the happy hour on Tuesday. It’s all day. The oysters wow. So fresh and delicious. The turnovers were so good we took two orders to go. House made curry vegan turnovers.. the shrimp cevich Outstanding and fresh. The sauce was so good I drank it. The Mac n cheese was like homemade fresh right out the oven. My friend loved the cosmopolitan drink and he rarely drinks. The hummus and plantain fresh n tasty. Cupid to the chef. This was everything right in nyc. The cornbread was moist and perfect sweetness n salt. Bathe jam was telling stories in my mouth.

I had to the pleasure of visiting this cozy spot on Wednesday during their happy hour from 4-7pm with my best friend, and let's just say it was nothing short of amazing from the warm welcoming, to the great customer service. The drinks were great as well we both had the lavender lychee Martini and spicy margaritas 10/10. I was most excited for the caviar cornbread which offers a sweet and salty COMBINATION that is truly unmatched Chef Donovon is a master at his craft and I had the pleasure of talking to him he was such a gentleman. Lastly the music selection was everything all in all a tremendous experience definitely will be back to try the whole menu

There are some clear favorites like the crab cake, squid ink pasta, heart of palm and the Ruby Dee. The whole snapper was fried to perfection but lacked flavor and the hummingbird wings also lacked flavor. To be fair we did deviate from the standard menu by asking for the sauce on the side of the wings. The lobster hash the components were good but it didn’t feel like a cohesive dish. The worst offense was the chocolate cake. We saw them parade the box of Entenmann’s cake to the back(entire cake $5) They proceeded to plate a slice and resell the slice for $12 after adding a raspberry drizzle on the plate.

If you’re searching for the best brunch in Harlem this is it. The Nephew Supper Club is serving up elevated Southern cuisine fresh oysters and a must try mimosa flight that’ll upgrade your entire weekend.
Start light with chargrilled oysters they were smoky & cheesy, truly unforgettable but follow it up with fresh oysters on the half shell.
But a MUST TRY the cornbread and caviar with a touch of blueberry jam. A mix of sweet & salty goodness.
For mains we had the fried red snapper crispy and flavorful — and buttery salmon seared to perfection.
The baked mac and cheese was creamy, golden and made with soul while the egusi hummus brings a rich West African twist.
Definitely give Nephew Supper Club a try especially for brunch ✨ Tell them Butter on a Roll sent you 💛🧈

We had such a great time yesterday taking my dad and the family out! Big thanks to my bestie Ian for the amazing recommendation—he never misses. My dad, Bishop Darren Ferguson, was truly happy, and that made the day even more special. The food was delicious, and the service was top-tier. We arrived an hour early, but the hostess was phenomenal and accommodated us with no problem. Our waitress was attentive, and all the staff made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. Incredible date night. Attentive staff, and fantastic, well prepared food. It is a fun neighborhood with a lot going on.
Good wine list. Tons of wonderful options for food; had two types of salad (arugula and nectarine), mussels, arrabbiata, and eggplant parmesan. Staff was attentive and the food was beautifully presented as you can see in our photos.
Only complaint was the constant wafts of refer smoke coming in from the street. No judgement, just would have preferred not to smell it while eating. Still think it’s a great restaurant and do recommend.

Underrated home cooked Italian food in a refined yet unpretentious setting. My hubby and I stop by every time we are in the city and walk away always with our palates happy and impressed.
I love the old school flair ambience and the menu is concise and simple. I think it’s one of the better Spaghetti & Meatball dishes. Highly recommend the chicken Marsala as the flavors are just divine.
Service has always been attentive and welcoming. Couldn’t recommend this resto enough!

A Memorable Harlem Gem That Keeps Me Coming Back
Years ago, I came across this spot on a recommendation—and it left such a lasting impression that I knew I had to return. This recent visit confirmed exactly why it earned a place on my personal list of must-try restaurants.
Nestled in Harlem, this restaurant is part of a neighborhood that has seen tremendous change over the past 30 years. While gentrification brings complex emotions, one positive is the emergence of exceptional dining experiences like this. It’s a beautiful reflection of Harlem’s evolving food scene—where history, creativity, and hospitality meet.
We visited for brunch and went with the bottomless Sangria and Mimosas. The Sangria surprised me—it was much lighter than expected, with a crisp, refreshing taste. At first, I thought it might be the white version, and the staff didn’t hesitate to bring over both so I could compare. That thoughtful touch set the tone for the entire meal. The service was friendly, prompt, and attentive without ever feeling rushed.
The white polenta was everything I hoped for—smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. It brought back all the good memories from my first visit. The braised short rib was melt-in-your-mouth tender and incredibly flavorful. These are the kinds of dishes that show real care and technique in the kitchen.
The atmosphere is just as inviting as the food. There’s a vibrant energy in the space—stylish yet relaxed, making it perfect for everything from a leisurely brunch with friends to a date night or special celebration.
Whether you’re a local or visiting New York City and want to explore Harlem beyond the typical tourist stops, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a true gem—where the food is memorable, the drinks are generous, and the service makes you feel like a valued guest. I’ll absolutely be returning again.

We had a birthday brunch here. The food and the service was great. Loved the decor as well. Around the middle of the lunch the place was almost full house. The air conditions were working nonstop but it was clearly not enough. It wasn't even a hot hot day. We were ok cause we were enjoying the meal and the conversation, but if you want a cool restaurant, be aware. I think it's worth it.

My protein matcha latte didn't have any flavor. Not even sweet. I love matching but these did NOT taste good. Im not sure if the Barista just forgot to add some kind of syrup...?

I usually stop by here every now and then. The service is usually nice, however, this morning was not.
After I got my order, July 31 at 9:31 am, I went back and asked for a small cup of water, the guy making drinks seemed bothered/annoyed and asked me what name it was under. I said it wasn't an order I just want a cup of water. He gave me a hard time for a simple cup of water. DON'T WORK THERE IF YOU DONT WANT TO! SIMPLY QUIT! NO ONE IS FORCING YOU, SWEETHEART!

I’ve been coming here since 2013 because they have great food. Unfortunately, the pastries and the food have not been as good. The decline started when they separated the pastry shop from the restaurant area. They increased the price of everything. The pastries taste old. This eclair is soggy but expensive. The chicken is dry. There are less tables, and the tables are sticky. It’s very sad. I remember this place used to always be full of people indoors and outdoors. Their breakfast egg sandwich was unmatched. No longer the case.

Consistency is paramount for me, and my initial visit to this Senegalese restaurant "Les Ambassades" in 2021 during a business meeting left an indelible mark with its unforgettable fried rice, setting an unparalleled standard. Revisiting in 2023, 1 found that the restaurant's commitment to excellence remained unshaken, and their lamb dish proved that great things truly come in small spaces. My friends from Florida, sharing this delightful experience, were equally impressed. I eagerly anticipate my next visit at this remarkable restaurant.

I was looking for some fresh fish, and vineteria delivered with several fish and seafood options to choose from. On the end, I'm not sure what I ordered, but it was delicious and perfectly prepared. I think it was broiled branzino, but the important thing is that the skin was crispy and good enough to make a meal out of. The flesh was perfectly medium rare, firm and moist. It was served on a bed of rich, creamy mushroom risotto. I had the special cauliflower soup as an appetizer.
I just popped in without reservation early on a Friday night. The place was buzzing and pretty full. I could have taken a seat at a long community table but opted for a window seat at the bar so that I could watch street life in the neighborhood. My server had to elbow his way through the bar crowd to get to me, but he was game for the challenge and remained friendly and helpful despite difficulty getting through.
Prices are what I would expect for above average food and service. As should be expected from a restaurant named Vineteria, the wine list is well curated with a great variety of interesting wines. In the past, I have had oysters and clams on the half shell. I can recommend them for variety, freshness and presentation.

One of my favorite restaurants in Harlem and it never disappoints. The black spaghetti with seafood is out of this world. The duck appetizer is to die for. I didn't photo the black spaghetti this time it was my to-go meal but I had the black ravioli with lobster for dinner. Not as good as the spaghetti and needed a couple more pieces but was tasty.

This is one of the brightest gems among many in Harlem. What a nice place for a cocktail or a quiet dinner. We enjoyed the “Thyme of Your Life” gin cocktail. Tasty sides and dessert to share. We had the carrot and Brussels for side and flan and gelato for dessert. All good. Recommend.

Something went wrong this time. Be aware of chairs in outdoor area they have sharp metal edges my partner ripped out his shorts. Oysters were very fresh and tasty. Branzino was good too. Short ribs pasta extremely overcooked. Service is bad bad bad. Annoying old man not giving any second of privacy, no water service, check is been requested and waiting time was ridiculously long. Do i want to return? No way. I’ve had enough. P.S. Even if they are responded you here on google and asking you to send them email they never get back to you over email. Hahaha what’s the point? Idk.🤷
