4 Star Rating Based on 2 breakfasts and 1 light dinner. Wine is delicious. The host was happy to pour me a couple samples to determine which wine I would prefer to drink that evening. The tempranillo was excellent. (And I lived in Spain.) The salmon based eggs Benedict is very good. The Italian breakfast wrap was dull. I will return if possible.

5 Star Rating One of the better restaurants in the Harlem area. Good food, great vibe and very friendly staff. If you're in the the area it's definitely worth a try. Actually, Vinateria is worth a trip to Harlem in it's own right. Enjoy a great meal and take in the other sights and sounds of Harlem.

scott gabrielle - 11 days ago

5 Star Rating A Michelin recommended restaurant with a diverse brunch and a traditional dinner menu. Vineteria serves seemingly gourmet dishes for affordable prices. I highly recommend the ink pasta with octopus—it’s fantastic! Much like neighboring restaurant on Frederick Douglas the prices for a brunch meal are at about $18 with a drink included. However, the brunch meals are practically an appetizer if you’re a big eater, but if you’re the more sophisticated taste-seeking connoisseur than you’d come at the right time. All in all, this place continues to earn its growing reputation as Michelin worthy.

5 Star Rating We stopped by and sat outside on a chilly night . We just wanted a glass of wine but ended up getting a full meal. Our server (Carro) was wonderful and had great knowledge of the food and wine. The atmosphere kept us wanting to stay longer. Each dish was made well with balancing flavors. We will definitely return again.

4 Star Rating Great Dinner, food was unexpected for a Food Pantry. The only downside is that the food pantry is monthly. I recommend the Common Pantry for bi-weekly groceries.

5 Star Rating I’ve only served here, so I can’t really rate this place as a customer. But I think they do a wonderful job! All the meals I’ve helped with seem very well planned and organized. They serve good food too (we weren’t allowed to eat it, but it looked good!!!) Attendees seem happy.

2 Star Rating Harlem hot spot Lido doesn't disappoint. Best for brunch but also great for lunch or dinner or an afternoon cocktail sitting outdoors. Update: In the last few months to a year, the service has become abysmal and the soaring prices just don’t add up. My review went from five to two stars. Expect small portions and a big tab. There are so many better places to go in Harlem.

Micah Jesse - 1 month ago

3 Star Rating I personally thought that food was not worth the prices. The food wasn't great, but the cocktails were amazing. However, the place itself is really cute and cozy. The staff were very attentive and we were attended to right away. If I were to ever make a trip out here again, it would honestly just be for the cocktails and not the food.

ashley banks - 11 hours ago

5 Star Rating Lunch time with girls. Food was amazing from appetizers to entree. Didn’t get a chance to eat their dessert, but I’m sure it’s fantastic. The service was superb. Didn’t feel rushed at all. The vibe inside the restaurant was great. It was my first time in Harlem and we had a chance to chat with the chef, which made our lunch extra special. The chef, Serena Bass, is a James beard award winner and author. This is one my best meal experiences ever. If you’ve ever in the Harlem neighborhood we highly recommend this place.

5 Star Rating Lido is one of the best spots in Harlem. The staff is always great, the food is delicious and the drinks are flowing. I went there this past weekend, for my birthday brunch, and let me just say...from top to bottom, 10s across the board. It's also nice to see an all inclusive staff in my neighborhood of Harlem!

Patrick Hester - 1 month ago

5 Star Rating Everything was so smooth and the prices are pretty great. I had a reservation and they had my table ready for my party as soon as I walked in. Our waiter (Wesley) was very patient and so nice to our group. I had the short rib and got so full! Originally, I was going to get the French toast but it looked a little small on pictures so I’m glad I went with the short rib. P.s- you can change your egg to scramble with the short rib, Great place!

5 Star Rating Stopped in here after work for happy hour with coworkers and I'm so glad we did! The bartender was so friendly and made a point to learn each of our names so that he could get a hold of us when the volume level was high. They have complimentary cheese balls (!!!) and have board games. They also have happy hour every day with great deals. Overall great place, will definitely be returning.

5 Star Rating I was there for a private event. The staff was helpful and friendly. The wait staff was attentive and prompt. The host was witty and went the extra mile. The food was excellent. I heard it achieved landmark status too. It looked modern and well maintained. Overall great experience.

5 Star Rating I had a great time, jazz music was great. Service was good.very attentive , the waiter kept checking on us. Pricey. But it was worth it. They'll charge you for entrance $20 pp for the band included in the check. Which is was decent. Not bad, I will recommend and come back. Plenty of parking.

J Romero - 2 months ago

4 Star Rating Great space for live jazz in the heart of Harlem. One of the Christmas holiday shows was tribute to Frank Sinatra - great lineup and excellent vibe. Food was mediocre (mandatory three-item order for the cover charge) but that's not why we were there so that's okay.

Lakshmi Subbramanian - 2 months ago

5 Star Rating My favorite Jazz club in the city. Every band I've seen there has been fantastic. And even if the music wasn't too notch, the ambience, drinks and food are all so good that the place would still be worth going to just for that. Great spot.

5 Star Rating I come to Silvana’s frequently for a comedy show. Silvana’s is great for live music, too. And to be honest the food is tasty as well. It’s clean, the vibe is smooth, and the hospitality it amazing. Honestly, this is a gem in Harlem and folks should frequent it, both day and night.

Porsha Williams - 1 month ago

5 Star Rating Silvana could totally be a “hang out all day” spot. Come in the morning for coffee, tea, and brunch. There’s almost always plenty of space upstairs to setup and do some work for a few hours. Lunch/Dinner menu is the same but there’s a good variety of options for the food - all of which is delicious and fairly priced. Great happy hour ($4, 4-8pm, daily). Head downstairs at night for some great live music. All in a days work

Jared Lemine - 1 month ago

5 Star Rating Very cute Harlem space, with an upstairs restaurant (which I didn’t have w chance to enjoy) and a downstairs music space with a bar and food service. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Shared and individual table and bar seating for people that want to get up close to the live entertainment, with a cosy back area for those that want to be a little more secluded and prefer a chat. After live music it converts to a more dance feel when the DJ turns up the beats. All in all a great space.

Fantine Pritoula - 1 month ago

5 Star Rating Been here twice, once it was live jazzy music I think a Wednesday and the other time was more hip hop club vibes. Nice small spot to go to. I like when different nights are different vibes.

Andrew Palumbo - 8 days ago

5 Star Rating Been coming here for years now and never disappoints. Live music on Friday and Saturday nights are always a hit, best place in West Harlem for a mix of some reggae music. Only downside is there is normally a $10 cover on the nights with the best crowd/music.

5 Star Rating Melba’s is hands down the most delicious southern comfort food in Harlem. The atmosphere, the service and the food are all excellent. If you get the pleasure of meeting Melba herself you’ll see where all of these wonderful attributes stem from!!!!! We will be back. Great for a date!

Mekastylz - 7 days ago

5 Star Rating Always great to eat at Melba’s. She was even there that evening greeting and directing customers to their tables. I love black-owned businesses and Melba’s doesn’t disappoint. Great for a date or even just going out with friends. Good drinks and great southern comfort food. I truly enjoy the extra space she has now. No longer a long wait for seating. If you have a reservation, go a little earlier to find parking on the street. Favorite items on the menu: Melba’s spring rolls, catfish, smothered chicken and Strawberry Hennessy drink. Melba’s signature chicken and eggnog waffles are amazing too. You won’t be let down at her establishment. Go enjoy.

Kiyara S. - 13 days ago

5 Star Rating I came with my party of six and Melba made us feel right at home. Unlike lots of the well known NYC restaurants, Melba warmly welcomed me with my family (including two kids) saying “we were all kids once” when we apologized for being a party of 6. Melba worked her magic, patrolling the place and doling out hugs to nearly everyone she saw. The food? Wonderful and soul filling. I’d love to try everything on the menu. I’m sure it’s just as good as the chicken and waffles, greens, and Mac and cheese I tried. It’s a special spot, and one I would frequent on the regular if I had the blessing of living here. Surely a must see treasure.

Scott Wallace - 8 days ago

5 Star Rating This is a gem of a restaurant. The fried chicken is really good. The mac and cheese is bomb. We wanted to eat more because it was so good. The waitress was so nice and knowledgeable. The whole staff is great.

Ana Lucia Varon Ocampo - 15 days ago

5 Star Rating I just wanted to say how amazing the food and service is here. Your server was the best I ever had. She was so sweet and great at giving advice on what to try. I had the pleasure of of meeting Melba herself and she is even more magical in person. So sweet and welcoming. I literally felt like I was back ins St George , SC eating at my aunties house! Can't wait to come back Tuesday for the live Music.

5 Star Rating Fresh ingredients with amazing traditional Caribbean recipes. Love this spot and the back patio. But avoid going after the rain late in the summer. Gets a little buggy. Other than that, it's a very welcoming space with good music and good vibes.

4 Star Rating If you travel to the islands or Mexico, you would come across a place like Lolo's Seafood Shack. The decorations are typical of a out of the way destination. The menu is great. The staff will help you pick items for you. The drinks are very authentic. A must stop for foodies.

5 Star Rating All I can say is order the gumbo!!! It was really good. I actually got it on my way out after dinner. They prepared it right there and by the time I got home it was still hot. The staff was very attentive and courteous. I can't wait to go back for another meal.

Gwendolyn Jefferson Skinner - 8 days ago

5 Star Rating Went there with an old friend, we spent hours catching up. Everything about our evening there (drinks, food, dessert and service) was 100% on point. This has become, my go to restaurant when taking family and friends around NYC. UPDATE. Went back with the wife and family friend on a Saturday evening (6:30). The service and food was still great. However for a restaurant at 6:30 in the evening the music was much too loud. Loud to the point that we left after our entree. We will be going back, however it will be Mon - Thur. We were told the music is at a background level then. It's a shame, because the best nights out with friends are Fri./Sat. If you don't mind talking loud to the person across from you, it is still a great restaurant.

Richard S - 27 days ago

5 Star Rating The ambiance was very nice. Music loud enough to jam while you eat, without being overbearing; I could still talk to my wife without screaming. As for the food, it was delicious. Many of their dishes are prepared with wine, which my wife and I could not have. We asked them to prepare without the wine, which they did, and it was flawless. It shows culinary expertise to make modifications per the customer request without taking away from the greatness of the flavor. The waiter, hostess, and manager were all extremely pleasant. My overall experience was fabulous!

Quasifly - 13 days ago

4 Star Rating The food was great! The Music was great! Only problem is that they charge $14 for a Cosmo and it comes in the smallest Martini Glass which they do not fill up. When you speak to the Manager, he says that is how they serve All their customers. And? That doesnt make it right!!!

Danielle Belcher - 12 days ago

5 Star Rating Great food and music. This place is awesome. It keeps getting better, and now that they are incorporating live music it is especially cool. Minton’s Jazz club next door is also by the same owner. I love both.
