It is, in fact, a Starbucks. More seating than some newer stores, and they keep things moving at a good clip. Mobile and in-person orders have always been filled with ease. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good vibes all around.

The food is good. Everything is a solid 5/5 that I’ve had except the coleslaw and potato salad, which I’d rate a 2/5 at best. Fish sandwich, fried fish and the shrimp were all seasoned well. The shrimp was excellent. You can tell the oil is fresh. He is 100% honest about that. This is the only place I’d get a fish sandwich from. I came all the way from Brooklyn to get some of the food and yes they will call you from inside through the speaker so you can pick your food up. It is a hole in the wall spot, so keep that in mind. The half/half drink is delicious. Not too sweet, just right in term of the balance of lemonade and iced tea. The homemade tartar is tasty too. I still have some saved in my fridge. I had the pleasure of witnessing Mr. Strickland bring the food outside to a lady on the wheelchair. He is nothing short of a southern gentleman. The customer service is great. The employees inside were all helpful. Overall, a solid 5/5. I will be back.

This place was on YouTube recently so of course I had to try it out. Honestly it is no big deal. it is a hole in the wall with absolutely no seating. The fish is fresh. The shrimp is good. The clams are tiny and cut into strips. The fries are no big deal. The starter sauce is no big deal. I wasn't impressed. The food is good but not amazing. It is a good neighborhood place for food to go. The fish they use is small and it does have a strong fishy taste. Buy those tamales on the corner instead. Now those are tasty. The cole slaw is tiny and has way too much mayo. The bread is the typical sliced loaf bred. Not sure why these places give you this cheap bread versus a good roll.

Great food, but not perfect. The employees are all kind and helpful. The vibe of the place is a hole in the wall with no seating. The food itself was pretty good, but there were some things left to be desired. I got the shrimp, fish and chips combo. The shrimp was the star of the show in my opinion. I know everyone raves about the fish but the shrimp was fried to perfection and the seasoning was on point. The fish was good, but not as good as the shrimp. Now the fries were pretty mediocre, not much flavor or crispy texture. The price was kinda ridiculous, $23.55 for this combo, not sure I can justify that. This place is good, I’d definitely recommend to anyone who likes seafood.

About a week before visiting, I’d had the chance to watch a YouTube video by NYT Cooking spotlighting this place. Initially, I didn’t think there’d be time to come here, but the chance presented itself on a night when the location happened to be just a few blocks away. The charm of Famous Fish Market begins when you walk in and find that the place itself purely serves as a counter for food pickup. Nonetheless, there is a crowd of customers inside and lining out the door, and it takes a second for order numbers to be called because you can see them making everything in real-time. That fact - paired with their explanation in the NYT Cooking video about cleaning their oil every day - places their food quality miles ahead. Everything tasted absolutely perfect and phenomenally fresh, from the peppery breading of the whitefish to the tangy tartar sauce they provide (pointedly in small sauce cups that leave you craving for more). The portion size of the Fish and Chips more-than-justifies the (already relatively inexpensive) $11 price, 30-min wait time, and line out the door. It is clear why Famous Fish Market is a local favorite - the food can hold its own. This family-run place has been around for decades and is definitely a loved spot in the neighborhood. Heavily recommend you try this place for a true taste of what Harlem has to offer.

The staff is really nice here but the food isn’t the greatest. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and it was like sweet dough. It was the weirdest pizza I have ever tasted, the pepperonis did not stay on top of the pizza. And then I ordered a six piece teriyaki chicken wings. They were basic wings, that were just thrown into a sauce no real flavor. They don’t even have Parmesan cheese to go on top of the pizza here it’s Romano cheese talk about basic. I think they only give business because there’s not many restaurants over here anymore.

I pretty much only order the lasagna and I make such an amazing lasagna myself but I don't usually order out it has to be good for me to enjoy it and it's definitely an solid 8. The accompanying photo is there lasagna out of the to-go container and plated.

Just moved to the neighborhood last week. It was highly recommended by my landlord so I thought I'd give it a try. My order was scheduled in advance through Seamless. It was ready 15 minutes early. Pickup was quick and easy; I was in and out in less than 30 seconds. As I walked back to my apartment, the tantalizing aroma of BBQ chicken pizza swept over me like a fog on the Hudson. Upon arriving, I slowly opened the warm cardboard box and discovered a truly beautiful work of art. From the crust and sauce to the cheese and meat, I was very pleased with the pie. Believe you me, it's tempting to eat more than just a slice or two! Will I order from Victorio's again? Absolutely. And I'm certainly happy to recommend them to a friend. This is one of the best pizzas that I've had in some time. Looking forward to the next visit.

I had the carne asada burrito. Let me tell you, I’m a big fan of Mexican food, and thought that their Mexican food was not good. Come to a surprise, the burrito was DELICIOUS. Just the right amount of rice, meat, onion, tomato, sour cream... so delicious. I’ll be coming here from now on.

As other stated; food is low quality. I order chicken hero parmigiana l, chicken had horribly chewy undercooked taste. I has to throw it out. The tiramisu cake was below average, and look at the size they charged 6$ on the picture. Overall, bad experience and cant recommend to anyone.

Very good and chill vibe! The food is very good, and lavender latte, is as other people recommended, really tasty! Can't recommend it anymore due to the upwest side vibe and the price is very competitive to others! Come down and be not afraid of going in if you're around!

Super cute cafe, almost missed it but so glad I went in. I was greeted upon entry and not rushed to order, the vibes here are so calming and welcoming. The menu is easy to ready, I tried the Nutella latte with less sweetener and it was amazing. There is free tap water which was nice to have as well.

Highly recommend their drinks, so far I’ve tried their vanilla latte & rose matcha and they didn’t miss. For food, my fav would be the eggcelent avo toast & it’s really filling and tastes amazing. The people are very kind & courteous. Whole in the wall!! Wish their space expands!!

Traveled from Los Angeles with 17 friends. We randomly showed up before heading downtown for sightseeing. The service was shockingly fast and the barista and cashier were very friendly. We got our order on-time and every item was accurate. Definitely recommend stopping in.

I don't eat much Ethiopian food, never the less vegetarian. But this was delicious! Our server was great at advising all the best dishes to try. We left full and feeling great. Flavorful and filling. The vibes are good and intimate. Definitely get the dessert!

I've eaten here twice and the food and service is always wonderful. It's such a calming presence and the owner has such a gentle aura around her. The food is good and all of it is vegan, sadly it cannot be customized to be fit allergies such as nut allergies so be careful when dining. There is a library section patrons can read in the restaurant. I purchased the owner's cookbook, house sauce, and spice mix. I've made several recipes from it and I really enjoy them. The pricing can be a little expensive but so can most restaurants these days. I plan to go again with coworkers or friends in the future and I recommend people give it a try, even those who are not vegan.

So glad we finally got around to trying out this spot. I had the miso soup to start and it is probably the best I have ever had! The salmon and parsley onigiri was delicious. My girls had the chicken ramen and chicken udon. Both were delicious! We will definitely be going back! Love that the chef and owner came out to serve and chat with us. She is lovely.

It's been years coming to parsley, I mean how can you not come here. Let me explain to you that this woman all by herself is managing this place. From Onigiris to Tuna Don, Maze Gohan as well as ramen soups. I mean everything is so perfect. She has a great selection of sake to die for as well as beer. Without mentioning that there is a variety of Wines. Excellent for Dine in and takeout. Overall, a great place for dates, as well as coming alone. You will not be disappointed.

We ordered shrimp shumai, spicy tuna ramen, kitsune chicken soba and matcha cheesecake. About the appetizer you can taste and feel the shrimp, great. The noodles were so good and the broth have a lot of taste. The cake was really dense and has a lemon taste, not my type. The owner is really friendly and take care of the ingredients.

I've walked by this place a million times and finally tried it out. The service is great and the food prep time is long but well worth it. I would rank this place as a hidden gem tucked away from the main avenue. They have a nice menu of Japanese meals and drinks. Space is a bit limited, I would recommend a few friends to share this place with. They accept credit cards but have a minimum of $20 and as usual prefer cash as a small business. I will definitely be coming to this place again.

This place is a great find in upper Manhattan. Food is out of this world delicious. Went here with a group of six on a Tuesday. Had the lamb Korma. Outstanding! Wanted to try the chef's special chingri malai curry. Headed back on Thursday. Went with my son. Got chicken madres also and shared both Curries. Other worldly. Maybe best Curries I've had in NY? USA? The onion Naan and Mango Lassi also highly recommended. Reasonable price. I shall return

Wow this is SUCH a gem. I ordered takeout from here and it’s the best Indian takeout I’ve had. The portions were generous and everything was hot. The Vindaloo was very spicy (I asked for it a little spicier and it was very hot but I really enjoyed it!) Every dish was wonderful truly. Will be ordering again soon!

Fantastic Indian food! Ordered from Mumbai Masala for the first time tonight (as I currently cannot chew properly after a tooth extracted earlier this week), and it won’t be the last. I’m a huge fan of Baingan Bharta (I could eat it every day!) and my choices tonight were Tikka Masala (you’ll be asked to add a protein of your choice) so I went for The Chicken Tikka Masala that was perfectly spiced, and the Baingan Bharta which was among the best I’ve had anywhere. Both dishes were served with rice and delivered hot. Portions were right (almost abundant). Delivery was earlier than expected and spot on. Highly recommend this place for authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine. Will definitely order again!

I must give them another excellent review for their Vindaloo which I got several days ago—it was super spicy just as I hoped. They use high-quality ingredients giving their food an awesome flavor—it’s sorta spiritual—like a sauna for your mouth. Lovely atmosphere if you eat-in. It’s my go-to spot for nice, quality real Indian food. And I love Fatima:)

This was my first time trying Ethiopian food and I loved it! Friendly service and nice ambiance. We had the Sambusa (meat and lentil) Asa Tibs, and Meat & Veggie Sampler for two. It was delicious and so flavorful. Nice portions and filling. We also had the baklava which was yummy. Highly recommend this spot!

This place is incredible!!! The owners (siblings) are so sweet and thoughtful. I called them needing a rush catering order for 35 people (less than 24 hr notice) and they were able to help me meet the needs of everyone on my team. We had gluten free, vegan and soy allergies we needed to account for. Benyam was absolutely professional and generous and were able to tell me the ingredients in their dishes. If you're going to cater, definitely listen to their recommendations on how much food you need. I thought we needed more food bc I was worried we wouldn't have enough. We had MORE than enough. After a full day of shooting on a film set, everyone's belly was fully satisfied and even people that never had Ethiopian food before loved it. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!! I will definitely be visiting again and again!!

What a lovely experience! The restaurant has such a cozy vibe, and the staff were incredibly welcoming from the moment we walked in. We were lucky to get a table — almost every one was reserved, which says a lot! The interior is warm and inviting, with little touches that let you learn more about Ethiopian culture. And the food… absolutely delicious! Every dish was full of rich flavors and clearly made with care. Can’t wait to come back!

Benyam is the type of place that feeds both nostalgic and spiritual energy. Not only is the food absolutely delicious, but the staff provides wonderful service. Most of the time owner or a family member is the one serving your table. If you are lucky Their, you will be served by "Benny" himself. They will openly engage you in conversation and make you feel like you are a distant family member who has stopped into their living room for a visit. Its one of my mom and I'm favorite ways to spend an early Sunday evening. You can feel the lovethey pour into the Ethiopian dishes and ambiance. If you are anywhere the Bradhurst district in Harlem and are looking for an unassuming but magical casual dining experience, definitely check out Benyam!

Really good quality, reliable and affordable chinese food. While I wish New Golden Dragon delivered, I am so glad they exist! Their food is always tasty, and filling with large portions and very reasonable prices. What can you count on when you get take out from New Golden Dragon? + You will always be greeted in a friendly manner and they will always show you your food to make sure they got your order right. + egg drop soup ALWAYS have fresh scallions on top + you always will be offered a free soda or eggroll if you order total is $11+ + their tofu is ALWAYS delicious!

We really enjoyed this place. Great selection of food. Everything we got was delish but the steamed dumplings were particularly delightful and had a thick soft dough. Service was quick although there is no place to sit really and they show you your food before they give it to you which is a plus.

Been eating here for almost 21 years. Have fed many families with their great food. New Golden Dragon prepares Chinese food I grew up on, in the San Francisco, CA/Bay Area. New Golden Dragon is surrounded by other restaurants. Yet, a few weekends ago, they had people - inside and out - waiting to get in - due to c19 - and the other restaurants were scarily empty. If actions speak louder than words, what does that tell ya? The other restaurants have good food too, but when you combine: price, quality, and quantity, you can't beat New Golden Dragon standards, at all! A few us consider New Golden Dragon family, since we've patronized them for so long. Enjoy!

It’s the best in the area. Generous servings. Locals mostly get the chicken or the pork ribs whenever I’m there. My fave is the sesame chicken but because I kept asking they started making Eggplant with chicken so that too. Best for takeout. Family has been there for almost two decades. Very nice people.
