First time at this location and it was a very pleasant experience with a very attentive & courteous barista. I had a gift card from years ago, so I figure I'll use it... This coffee shop was very clean, inviting, and not crowded. I ordered an egg /bacon wrap and a pastry. The food was fresh & tasty. Thanks to the barista who was kind & patient when I inquired on how to use the gift card. Yummy 😋

Dawson stepped it up here in Harlem, Nyc. Customer service is amazing. Pull up at Starbucks, they offer excellent hospitality, and the ambiance is energetic and full of Positivity. Sometimes you just want a place that takes your order (a grab & go).. well if you are in Harlem, this should be your go to place. The price is right, the service is on point and your meal is soooo good. It’s a 2 step down to enter, no seating, order, pay and wait outside for your number to be called. It’s been around since 1974. Trust me, you will be fine… It’s fish, shrimp & fries (the combo) get the ice tea, you won’t be disappointed. 😎

The food was phenomenal. Everything was cooked to order and cooked perfectly. I hadn’t eaten all day today, so I couldn’t until I got home. I devoured it on the bus. Lol I ordered fish, shrimp, and chips combo. Everything was delicious. I don’t know what kind of fish that was, but it was fresh and flaky. The shrimps were perfect. The batter was thin and crispy. The chips were nice, some were a bit moist and cold. It even came with 2 slices of breads, and I made a nice fish sandwich with their tartar sauce. The sauce was also nice, and the flavor was very balanced. A little sweet, and a little sour. It was a good meal. The only thing was that the service could be nicer. The restaurant was clean, but watch out those stairs.

It's small but clean. Doesn't have the fishy awful smell outside either. The seafood is only seasoned with black pepper. But, that's expected. You season to your liking. This place is a Harlem stable. Very friendly. And, one of the last original spots in Harlem.

The hand battered whiting and shrimp are outstanding and fried in the cleanest oil of any fish shack in town. The clams are just ok, but everything else is extraordinary—there’s a reason for the lines on the sidewalk. Not much in the ways of sides and veggies, but that’s not the point. You don’t hang around 40 plus years uptown without knowing what you’re doing and doing it better than your competition. There’s no seating in the shop, but it’s easy to find a picnic spot or grab a bench at St. Nicholas Park just across the street. Adjacent to two express trains if you need to take it home.

The staff is really nice here but the food isn’t the greatest. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and it was like sweet dough. It was the weirdest pizza I have ever tasted, the pepperonis did not stay on top of the pizza. And then I ordered a six piece teriyaki chicken wings. They were basic wings, that were just thrown into a sauce no real flavor. They don’t even have Parmesan cheese to go on top of the pizza here it’s Romano cheese talk about basic. I think they only give business because there’s not many restaurants over here anymore.

I pretty much only order the lasagna and I make such an amazing lasagna myself but I don't usually order out it has to be good for me to enjoy it and it's definitely an solid 8. The accompanying photo is there lasagna out of the to-go container and plated.

Just moved to the neighborhood last week. It was highly recommended by my landlord so I thought I'd give it a try. My order was scheduled in advance through Seamless. It was ready 15 minutes early. Pickup was quick and easy; I was in and out in less than 30 seconds. As I walked back to my apartment, the tantalizing aroma of BBQ chicken pizza swept over me like a fog on the Hudson. Upon arriving, I slowly opened the warm cardboard box and discovered a truly beautiful work of art. From the crust and sauce to the cheese and meat, I was very pleased with the pie. Believe you me, it's tempting to eat more than just a slice or two! Will I order from Victorio's again? Absolutely. And I'm certainly happy to recommend them to a friend. This is one of the best pizzas that I've had in some time. Looking forward to the next visit.

As other stated; food is low quality. I order chicken hero parmigiana l, chicken had horribly chewy undercooked taste. I has to throw it out. The tiramisu cake was below average, and look at the size they charged 6$ on the picture. Overall, bad experience and cant recommend to anyone.

I had the carne asada burrito. Let me tell you, I’m a big fan of Mexican food, and thought that their Mexican food was not good. Come to a surprise, the burrito was DELICIOUS. Just the right amount of rice, meat, onion, tomato, sour cream... so delicious. I’ll be coming here from now on.

Sugar Hill has been my regular neighborhood cafe for years. I love the breakfast sandwiches and nothing beats the French toast on the weekends after a long night of partying. I also do every morning for a latte and sometimes I try the special drinks, of which the pumpkin spice latte is my fave. It gets really busy for brunch so I recommend going early and often. Prices are typical and the service is always top.

This café is delightful. The staff is so friendly and a joy to interact with. Their coffee is so flavorful and really gets my workday commute in motion. The decor is supercute and cozy. They also have an amazing community bulletin board which has helped me find community in a neighborhood I’ve only been living in a short time. I highly recommend Sugar Hill Café!

Dinner at Tsion Cafe was a beautiful fusion of Ethiopian and Israeli flavors in a cozy, welcoming space. The meal was perfect for sharing, with every dish bringing something vibrant and comforting to the table. The Sambusas were crisp and savory, filled with warm spices and paired with a bright dipping sauce that added just the right zing. The Hummus with Silsi was creamy and rich, topped with a spiced tomato sauce that gave it depth and warmth, served alongside soft pita bread. The Fik’re Lover’s Combo was a standout—a colorful platter of stews and vegetables over injera, each component offering unique spices and textures. It was a perfect introduction to Ethiopian cuisine, with lentils, greens, cabbage, and split peas all complementing one another beautifully. The Duba Wot with Jollof Rice was hearty and full of flavor, with the sweetness of the pumpkin stew balanced by the spice in the rice. The Ful (fava beans) was earthy and satisfying, brightened by fresh diced vegetables and served with warm bread for scooping. The Tel Aviv Quinoa Salad was light and refreshing, a welcome contrast to the richer dishes, with Mediterranean herbs and citrusy notes. The Shimbra Asa, a spicy chickpea stew, brought a lovely kick and deep flavor, perfect for fans of bold spices. To end the meal, the Malawach with Silan—a flaky Yemeni flatbread drizzled with sweet date syrup—was delicate, comforting, and an unexpected treat. The Redd Foxx cocktails were strong, fruity, and a great match for the bold dishes. I was recommended Tsion Café by my parents and was surprised to see that it was in Harlem! I believe it is the only ethiopian restaurant in the area. Tsion Café offers a unique take on the Ethiopian dining experience with fusion appetizers that I’ve never seen or had at other Ethiopian restaurants. The injera chips with hummus and fava bean dip, to name a few, were excellentz The entrées here are also comprised of very unique offerings. The mushroom tibsi and pumpkin were phenomenal. I wish more ethiopian restaurants experimented with stuff like this. The traditional ethiopian entrées are were Tsion Café lacks compared to other spots like Bunna Café. While the food is up to par, serving sizes are small and each order only comes with one of each type whereas other places double up on the various types of bites. Overall, I was surprised by Tsion Café. It stands out among New York’s other Ethiopian restaurants in location and its unique appetizer and entrée offerings. On top of all this, the host was very ready to answer our questions and was a joy to talk to after the meal. Although I may not come here for my next Ethiopian fix, no one should shy away from coming here if they are in the area and are looking to try something new.

So glad we finally got around to trying out this spot. I had the miso soup to start and it is probably the best I have ever had! The salmon and parsley onigiri was delicious. My girls had the chicken ramen and chicken udon. Both were delicious! We will definitely be going back! Love that the chef and owner came out to serve and chat with us. She is lovely.

It's been years coming to parsley, I mean how can you not come here. Let me explain to you that this woman all by herself is managing this place. From Onigiris to Tuna Don, Maze Gohan as well as ramen soups. I mean everything is so perfect. She has a great selection of sake to die for as well as beer. Without mentioning that there is a variety of Wines. Excellent for Dine in and takeout. Overall, a great place for dates, as well as coming alone. You will not be disappointed.

We ordered shrimp shumai, spicy tuna ramen, kitsune chicken soba and matcha cheesecake. About the appetizer you can taste and feel the shrimp, great. The noodles were so good and the broth have a lot of taste. The cake was really dense and has a lemon taste, not my type. The owner is really friendly and take care of the ingredients.

I've walked by this place a million times and finally tried it out. The service is great and the food prep time is long but well worth it. I would rank this place as a hidden gem tucked away from the main avenue. They have a nice menu of Japanese meals and drinks. Space is a bit limited, I would recommend a few friends to share this place with. They accept credit cards but have a minimum of $20 and as usual prefer cash as a small business. I will definitely be coming to this place again.

Fantastic Indian food! Ordered from Mumbai Masala for the first time tonight (as I currently cannot chew properly after a tooth extracted earlier this week), and it won’t be the last. I’m a huge fan of Baingan Bharta (I could eat it every day!) and my choices tonight were Tikka Masala (you’ll be asked to add a protein of your choice) so I went for The Chicken Tikka Masala that was perfectly spiced, and the Baingan Bharta which was among the best I’ve had anywhere. Both dishes were served with rice and delivered hot. Portions were right (almost abundant). Delivery was earlier than expected and spot on. Highly recommend this place for authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine. Will definitely order again!

This restaurant is way underrated. The products are very good quality and well prepared. One of the best Indian restaurants I have ordered to. The lamb is very good and tender which is rare. The only thing that could be better is the cheese naan. It's not light nor cheesy enough. They should use a different kind of chees too. A creamy one But seriously, this restaurant deserves 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I must give them another excellent review for their Vindaloo which I got several days ago—it was super spicy just as I hoped. They use high-quality ingredients giving their food an awesome flavor—it’s sorta spiritual—like a sauna for your mouth. Lovely atmosphere if you eat-in. It’s my go-to spot for nice, quality real Indian food. And I love Fatima:)

My Aunt invited me to celebrate my academic success at Benyam restaurant and I had the best Kitfo, Tibs, beyeaynetu, and my parents took coffee as well with great hospitality. The Tibs and Kitfo was amazing!

Really good quality, reliable and affordable chinese food. While I wish New Golden Dragon delivered, I am so glad they exist! Their food is always tasty, and filling with large portions and very reasonable prices. What can you count on when you get take out from New Golden Dragon? + You will always be greeted in a friendly manner and they will always show you your food to make sure they got your order right. + egg drop soup ALWAYS have fresh scallions on top + you always will be offered a free soda or eggroll if you order total is $11+ + their tofu is ALWAYS delicious!

We really enjoyed this place. Great selection of food. Everything we got was delish but the steamed dumplings were particularly delightful and had a thick soft dough. Service was quick although there is no place to sit really and they show you your food before they give it to you which is a plus.

Been eating here for almost 21 years. Have fed many families with their great food. New Golden Dragon prepares Chinese food I grew up on, in the San Francisco, CA/Bay Area. New Golden Dragon is surrounded by other restaurants. Yet, a few weekends ago, they had people - inside and out - waiting to get in - due to c19 - and the other restaurants were scarily empty. If actions speak louder than words, what does that tell ya? The other restaurants have good food too, but when you combine: price, quality, and quantity, you can't beat New Golden Dragon standards, at all! A few us consider New Golden Dragon family, since we've patronized them for so long. Enjoy!

Devin's Fish & Chips spot on St. Nicholas Ave has been serving the community for nearly 3 decades. I've know I've been a customer since the late 1990s. Devin's was very popular when they first opened because they had a steamer. Steamed snow crab⁰ legs and okra were my favorites with pink lemonade. Also, the grilled salmon steaks with steamed okra & fresh cut fries with the skin on it. Still a family bznz and a staple in Hamilton Heights,Harlem! It's a small world indeed. I found out over 2 decades ago, we attended junior high school with the siblings back in the 1970s. I recognized one of the sisters and asked if she had a brother, Willie. She said, "Yes, I do. " We chatted for a while.. I'm happy that they chose to stay in bznz despite the changes & gentrification thisv neighborhood has endured over the decades. Congratulations fam@🐠🎣🦞🍚🍛

Food looks good on camera but that's about it. Fish and chips portion was too small for the price. French fries were plain jane. No flavor at all. Taste like wood. Without the shrimp this would have been 1 star. There is no "Devin" there and its not a seafood/soul food spot. This establishment is the same as those fish market places that sell hot food in the back.

This place is really great. The food is awesome and I got really great service from the guy behind the window even though I accidentally showed up right as they were closing. Prices are incredible as well. Do note that this place is cash only. The only reason I took a star off for atmosphere is because you can only take food to go. No dining inside. I would definitely come again soon!

Good fried catfish and shrimp. I was not a fan of their fries or "chips" as they call them - they leave the potato skin on them. I wouldn't have ordered them if I knew. The selection for sides wasn't the usual, they offer tostones, and some vegetables like asparagus. Decent price for the food, will return but remember not to get the chips.

First let me start off by staying the workers in the establishment are very friendly. I gave it 2 stars because what I ordered, the taste and the quality. The catfish was broiled and seasoned great the shrimps were sooooooo tiny and over cooked. I felt like I was played with because no way was the shrimp that little. If you decide to eat here get the jumbo shrimp I would assume. I don't even think the pictures does any justice on how small they were.
