3 Star Rating Came back to the original shop to reminisce the good old original shack burger. Don’t think it’s as good as I remembered it. A little sad that standards have gone down hill. Shakes and fries are still fine. Portobello burger not bad. Line moves quickly at noon. Getting a seat in the park a little challenge as there are the office lunch crowds. Wish there is more segregation of Shake Shack’s patrons for the price we pay. The Madison square park is an experience on its own. Nice to come on a sunny cool day.

5 Star Rating Even being busy during the lunch hour, the service was fast and great. I never regret to stop for a burger from them. Great food, tasty and fresh. The lemonade was refreshing. You can’t go wrong with Shake Shack if you are looking for a quality burger. The staff is always friendly and attentive.

5 Star Rating Reportedly the first Shake Shack, this spot is beautifully located in Madison Square Park, surrounded by plentiful outdoor seating to enjoy your meal. The brunch here indeed tastes better than at most other Shake Shack locations, and they serve food quickly, meaning you only wait a short time to enjoy delicious food. Highly recommended for fans of Shake Shack who want to visit their original location.

5 Star Rating Read about the roots of this restaurant and got a chance to try it. I was skeptical eating a good burger in a park shack, but along the with staff responsiveness and professionalism, the burger was OUTSTANDING. Excellent balance of ingredients and perfect preparation and taste of the hamburger meat. I was SO surprised and relished each and every bite. Staff were exceptional

4 Star Rating I was walking with a coworker and following whatever crosswalk was present and it got us here. Madison Square Park has a great vibe. The Shake Shack in the middle of it just makes it better. If find yourself in the area I highly advise to visit. It also has a great view of the Empire State Tower.

4 Star Rating I ate dinner at Gramercy Tavern last night. It is a lovely, professionally run restaurant, and the staff is patient and well-trained. I ordered the chicken, as did everyone else at my table (not planned), and three of us were disappointed with the chicken because it was spicy and was not listed on the menu. I do not like spicy food. Overall, it is a nice restaurant. The menu was limited. The portions were small, which I appreciated. Desert was good.

5 Star Rating Excellent service, beautiful decor and atmosphere, and delicious food! Highly recommend! Will be back this summer! Ps. The outdoor seating is especially wonderful, considering so many places no longer have it. I loved it here ~ twice in one week, ordered the same thing, but it's what brought me back! So definitely, a must try!

5 Star Rating Came here for dinner the other night and it was absolutely amazing. The roasted oysters were delicious, they were lightly cooked so you could still taste the freshness. The burger was super juicy. Even though the portion was small, the sweet potato pappardelle was my favorite. The pasta was cooked to perfection and had a lot of flavor. The chocolate pudding cake was our favorite dessert. Very rich taste and not too sweet. The Big Sur Cocktail - highly recommended if you like refreshing drinks. Overall, the food and service were outstanding. We'll definitely come back.

4 Star Rating It’s an impressive place, with wonderful service (Angele) and professionalism (Kobi), beautiful floral set up and an all around positive atmosphere. The food was good, but not great. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 mains and 1 dessert. Enjoyed 3 dishes out of 5, the beef tartar and their strawberry/rhubarb dessert.

4 Star Rating I didn’t have a reservation and the only table available was outside. I only came for just soup, but unfortunately the soup was genuinely very unappetizing. It lacked any sort of flavor or useful ingredients. It reminded me of something I would make with leftover ingredients. I could only eat half of it before I opted to order their milk cookie dessert and the burger, which the server Rafael told me was a classic choice. The burger carries an expensive price tag (the entire tavern menu does) at $35, but it could’ve easily been the best burger I will ever eat. The meat was juicy, cooked just right to medium rare and the duck fat chips were perfectly crunchy. The cookie dessert was clever; it came with chocolate milk and the cookie has a lot going on. It was more like a small cake. My server Rafael was very friendly. The other wait staff kept a close eye on me. The outside decor is warm and the chair is very comfortable. I was pretty impressed with my experience but the soup leaves a bad taste in my mouth about this particular dining experience, no pun intended, and for that reason I give four stars instead of five. I would be very excited to make a reservation for their main dining room in the future.

5 Star Rating Honestly, I've been to this restaurant once before, about 3-4 years ago, for my husband's company Christmas party. I remember enjoying the meat that was served back then. So, unaware that the restaurant had become vegetarian, I made a reservation and went again two years ago. I probably wouldn't have gone if I had known it was vegetarian. Anyway, it was still a pleasant experience. Normally, I hardly eat if there's no meat or fish protein, but I seriously considered trying vegetarianism after dining at this restaurant. I still can't forget the clean and pure taste of the food and its heavenly aroma. The most delicious part was the appetizer bread and the butter, it was so amazingly tasty. However, I remember the portions not being a lot. We had beverage pairings, and even after finishing them all, I didn't feel full. I'm not sure if the portions were small, if I was missing meats, or if the food was just too delicious and I wanted to keep eating. After the meal, we got granola from there, which was so delicious that I've been making my own granola since then and eating it every morning. There's no doubt that it's a place influenced my life.

4 Star Rating I came to Eleven Madison before they went vegan, but it was not too impressive. Don’t get me wrong, it was good but did not stand out among other fine dining restaurants to me. I was surprised they went vegan and still got Michelin stars, so I decided to come again. Wow, what a huge difference! And it was actually very good! All the dishes are very flavorful and fresh. I can see they are Asian-inspired, but not on the oily or spicy side, more on the clean and comforting side. But to be honest, there was about 20 minutes wait without any food on the table between dishes, and it was kind of awkward and weird because I could tell the waiters were trying to avoid our eyes. Overall, it was a very good meal. I will definitely come back again.

4 Star Rating I write this review from the, arguably, unfair perspective of having spent hundreds of dollars for a full tasting before I even walked through the doors. I expected to be blown away by the best bite(s) of my life, but unfortunately that did not happen. The technique was exquisite and perfectly executed, I'm sure, but there was nothing I would go out of my way to order again. I also expected more color, but the dishes were mostly brown and green. I should also add that I can't stand mint and dill in my food, and one was heavy on mint and dill. I also would have liked a menu, so I knew exactly what I was eating. (We were informed in real time, but I later forgot.) The desserts were the most delectable part of the experience. The asparagus was cooked perfectly, and the dish with the Japanese seeds (again, I would be more precise, but I have no menu to reference) was very complex, a flavor combination I had never tasted before. The udon noodles and artichoke tart were also delicious. One of our drinks had an acidic, off-putting taste. It was removed from the table, but I'm not sure about the bill because I didn't get an itemized bill. Service was phenomenal.

And … yes for all those who are vegan, vegetarian and those who are open minded about culinary inventions, do go to this place at least once! What an experience, from the minute you sit down from the bar to the dining table, the service is impeccable, the atmosphere is one of excitement, relaxed and fun at the same time. The wine pairing is amazing. I had the best wines with our meal. The food is simply mind blowing; delicate, decadent, beautifully prepared and presented. You just keep eating and drinking non stop, the dishes just keep coming. Highly highly recommended!!

4 Star Rating Came here for the first time and enjoyed the experience - notably it gets packed and very loud so just something to keep in mind. Service is pretty fast and efficient and I loved all of the dishes I tried. The mezze is wonderful with the fresh bread - especially the smoked trout! I went with the crab benedict which was pretty good overall. I will say I was expecting a crab-cake as opposed to the crab-meat on creamed spinach but I still did enjoy the flavors. Would definitely want to try more on the menu the next time I'm back!

5 Star Rating (Edited after a another visit, see below) 1. Food was so good - I've been here before and it's consistently so. However, the server we had wasn't friendly at all and was pretty terrible. We had some older bald guy. The people who came to bring our food or refill our water we're great, so still tipped 20% in hopes the tips are shared. But can't say our waiter deserved it. Before I start on the food, the apple cake is a must if you're getting dessert! I don't even like apple desserts, but this is the exception. The AGNOLOTTI AI GIRASOLE is amazing and the Butter-Poached Lobster is decent. Scallop for the app (just a single one) is decent and the fingerling potatoes were great. Edit: 2. Gave Union Square Cafe another try recently and I was blown away! The team took extra care to ensure our experience was going well and the server has great recommendations for our drinks. The diver scallop this time was cooked most perfectly and may have been the best I've had, with great color and still managing to melt in my mouth. They had an interesting cold, citrusy shrimp appetizer special that was fun and their pasta dishes are so consistently delicious! Only little thing was the side of fingerling potatoes weren't too hot this time around - they were too big, not as crispy, and a bit undercooked. But meh, we quickly forgot about it with everything else tasting so good. Did I mention their apple cake is a must try?!

4 Star Rating Came here for a colleague lunch and really enjoyed it. The ambiance is elevated with lots of natural light and high ceilings. We got a few apps and enjoyed them all—the garlic potato chips, beet salad, and broccoli with yogurt (my fav). The bread was soft and chewy, and the gluten free bread was nutty and tasted great for gluten free. For entrees, I got the branzino but did not like this as much as I found it too fishy and there were a lot of small bones.

5 Star Rating We had a wonderful experience at Vallata on Saturday night, celebrating some personal successes among our group. We arrived about 30 mins early to have a drink at the bar, but opted to be seated and begin our evening a table directly in front of the open kitchen- perfect for our night (thank you to the hostess). By the time me and and my wife received our first round of Forst Italian Pilsner and a rosé for her, we had met three members of the staff (Christian got us started with amazing service) and we recognized that this restaurant had, quite possibly, the best music mix of any location we had dined and recently. Our friends arrived and drinks kept coming. We coursed our own meal out, which was so nice to be allowed to do so. We started with Whipped Ricotta and Arancini, both were our favorites of the evening. Arancini was better than what we had in Rome, while admittedly a different style. Our guests shared a cacio e pepe for a main, while I ordered the Paccheri with Fennel Sausage and Broccoli Rabe. Mine was was slightly undercooked below al dente, too chewy, but delicious flavor. My wife’s delicious steak arrived about 6 minutes after our pastas arrived, which was slightly disappointing, as we all chose to wait. En lieu of ordering dessert I explored down the beer list further, ordering the Baladine and Del Ducato IPAs. I love the Italian beer portfolio from B United but have found the hops offered on draft to move beyond earthy into oxidized and sherry like. This isn’t unique to this location. The “American Style IPA” tasted great, as the alcohol content masks the slightly sweet hop atrophy. All in all, an incredible and wonderfully hospitable time at Vallata and we can’t wait to return… and try some dessert next time.

4 Star Rating Very nice Italian pasta restaurant (by Tom Coliccio from Food Network's Top Chef) with a relaxing & inviting setting in the flatiron district. We tried two appetizers and three pasta selections (there's only a few vegetarian options so we replaced sausage for anchovies in one dish), and all were good. Would not recommend the wine & pasta special as the house wines weren't up to the quality of the pasta. Service was very good.

3 Star Rating I wasn’t sure how to rate Vallata because I was technically there with a friend for their collab with Win Son, but ended up trying both restaurant’s food. I’m definitely not under the impression that Italian food in NY is fairly priced, especially in a restaurant. I just felt that the $25 brunch pasta dish I ordered would fill me up enough until dinner perhaps? Not so much. I ordered the pasta with anchovies, fennel, puntarelle mushrooms, and cured olives. While I enjoyed the umami flavors, I felt that there’s no way a dish like this can be worth $25 and I still end up hungry afterwards. My friend ordered the $17 glorified lettuce salad, which was probably the most unfairly priced considering it was just lettuce with some dressing and seasoning. The service was great though – the servers were enthusiastic even, also being attentive to our glasses of water, asking about dietary restrictions, and answering questions. One of the other saving graces was the cannoli cream bomboloni we ordered and split in two. The cream was rich and clearly used high quality ricotta, and the donut itself was light and had a citrusy taste to it as if infused with peel. The second saving grace was the 2 Win Son scallion pancake sandwiches I ordered to go, but I do wish they came with the signature ginger sauce and the nice carton box rather than really thick plastic containers.

The papardelle with braised lamb was tasty. Everything was delicious but nothing that you’re still thinking about the next day. Great menu for sharing to try a little of many things.

5 Star Rating Great vibes. Loved the atmosphere and service. Some of the dishes were great. Loved the duck. Also love the idea of locally sourcing ingredients directly from farms. The scallop tasted a bit off. Everything else was great.

5 Star Rating It's hard to put into words how great this restaurant experience was! My husband booked this restaurant for our anniversary. And it did not disappoint! The server was so friendly and explained everything on the menu. I had the pork and my husband had the duck! How delicious both dishes were! They also gave us a glass of complimentary champagne because of the occasion! The rose was also really tasty. Everything about the atmosphere to the food to the service was excellent. Great job chef TC!

4 Star Rating Overall a wonderful date night. Great staff, drinks and vibe. Some of the food was great - but much of it tasted just OK, and the duck I was served was a big let down. The waiter mentioned this was a family style restaurant - and that the gist of "Craft" is putting together your own smorgasbord of items to mix and match as you eat. I can see how this would be a much better dining experience food wise with a group. When you can only order a handful of items, stakes are high if something doesn't hit. Here's a run down on our order, and as always, you might just love something that I was not into and vice versa. Arugula Salad - unexpected winner here. the fresh greens, dressing and pine nuts all come together to make a surprisingly excellent salad. Almost skipped this, kudos to the wife on insisting. Aligot - this is basically an incredibly cheesy mashed potato, possibly the best I've ever had. If you like cheese and potato's this is a must. It also made the duck much more palatable. Hen of the woods - Lots of mentions of this in other reviews. The way they prepare it definitely lets the mushroom shine for itself. Tasted fresh, good flavor, but not mind blowing or anything. Milk Braised Lamb Pappardelle - the lamb portions were great, extremely tender and flavorful. But the lamb and relatively plain pasta wasn't really enough to wow me. In this case, I might just be too much of a red sauce glutton to appreciate it. Scallops - the scallops were very well done, perfect I'd say. They do provide more of the sauce on the side if you wanted to have some on every bite, but they were flavorful enough as initially presented. Duck - This one was unfortunately the saddest part of the meal. It was a large portion, but the breast has no crispy skin on it at all. It also looked much different than some of other photos of duck others have posted. I unfortunately just wasn't into the way the duck breast was prepped this time around. The confit was the better half of the dish, but honestly, this was the dish I was most excited for, and yet it created the greatest regret. If you do order this, find a photo of it in the reviews that you like and ask if that's what it'll look like. Feel like I got catfished. Chocolate Soufflé - the ice cream/gelato on the side was excellent and its a very good soufflé. I was pretty full at this point and wish I had room to try the crème brulee cheesecake. They also provided a final little treat, and an yet another treat on our way out. A nice "just one more thing" touch! Again, the drinks were all very good. Our waiter was very informative and friendly. Can't say I was wowed food wise - although a couple of dishes were fantastic. Overall, if I were to visit again, it would be with a larger group to try more things. Still, had a wonderful time.

5 Star Rating We were apprehensive initially thinking it could be touristy. But when we go there everything changed. Hope, our hostess was so amazing. She helped us choose Queso Fundido, perhaps one of the most delicious dishes I’ve eaten ever. Thank you folks.

3 Star Rating My visit to this Mexican restaurant with my co-workers in March 2023 had both its ups and downs. Despite the restaurant being relatively empty, we experienced extended wait times for both food and drinks, which was a bit frustrating. In fact, my food took so long that I had no choice but to take it to-go and eat it at work. An odd situation arose when they initially refused to let me take my beverage to go, citing a lack of plastic cups. This was an unexpected inconvenience, but when I expressed my intention not to pay for it, they miraculously found a plastic cup. However, the saving grace of this visit was the food. Despite the delays and minor hiccups in service, the food itself was truly delicious. It's what ultimately earned this restaurant a three-star rating from me. In summary, while my experience at this Mexican restaurant had its share of service-related challenges, the quality of the food shone through. If they can address the service issues, this place could easily earn higher marks for a more well-rounded dining experience.

5 Star Rating Today two co-workers and I dined at a brand new restaurant on its 11th day. We visited Dos Caminos in Lexington Avenue and 46th Street. We began lunch with two beers & sprite , as an appetizer guacamole salsa and chips. Giulio ordered the quesadilla which he said was very savory . Fritzi ordered the birria tacos and so did I . I asked for mine to come on flour tortillas they made it on corn but it was still great tasty not spicy fantastic tacos. Lunch for 3 with a tip was $150 but that's what's expected on Park avenue in New York City. Great place and just absolutely beautiful restaurant inside ❤️

5 Star Rating Such good Mexican food! I ordered the chicken tacos, which came with a salsa and side of rice and beans. Flavorful, juicy, and fresh. My friend ordered the TikTok birria tacos, which she said were amazing. We both ordered cocktails- I had the passion fruit margarita which was sweet and tangy. Such a good meal!

2 Star Rating Ate her today & it seems like pretty authentic Mexican. Food and cocktails were decent (spicy cucumber mint.) The first initial service by the hostess was horrible. She basically forgot about us & didn’t seem to care; even when my friend reminded her. We were about to leave until one of the waiters saw our distress & finally helped us! After that it was pretty good. Not my best but it’s a good eat.

5 Star Rating One word - Delicious! My friends took me out here for my birthday and it was perfect! The service is super fast and friendly. Location is very close to subway and path station. The food is delicious, the infused vodka shots add a nice kick to the meal and the desserts are heaven. We ordered - Starters: Egg plant rolls Belini with red caviar Tomato salad with sour cream Everything was fresh and went perfect with the infused vodka shots ( personal favorites were the Horseradish shot and the Pepper &Honey shot, they pack some heat in them and go very well with the food) Mains: Beef Pirojki Hinkali- My personal favorite of the evening! Potato vareniki Pan fried potatoes with mushrooms For dessert : Chocolate kilbasa Napoleon cake -Do not pass on this one! So so good Black tea

5 Star Rating Mari Vanna is one of the best places I had ever went to for a Russian food. I’ve got Duck, Borscht, Khinkali and some drinks. Khinkali didn’t impressed me( I generally don’t like it) but all the rest was delicious. Highly recommend! Left 4⭐️only because we were waiting for a check a bit of time.

5 Star Rating Came here for dinner on a weekday. The place was not super busy but I think reservations are better to be made or else you will be eating under a time constraint. Decor is super typical Russian, straight to USSR time. The waiters and waitresses all dressed to the place, and the dinnerware were all in same style. My friend said the menu has a bit more Ukrainian influences but I have no reference. We ordered majorly appetizers. Cherry Vareniki: the cherry dumplings perfectly made as my Russian reference friend said. Each dumpling contains a piece of cherry, mostly sweet and some are tart. The fruity fillings are enclosed with a slippery dumpling sheet and you eat it with the paired sour cream. With the popping of the cherry inside, you get the tartness and the sweetness and the creaminess blended with the smooth texture of dumpling. Borscht: the beet soup with beef cheek. The beef is tender and stringy, and the soup of full of aroma from the beet. When you melt the sour cream inside the borscht, the cream makes the soup less tangy and more harmonic to my palate. I soaked my rye bread (one of the healthiest bread in my opinion, so healthy that it is so heavy to eat) in the borscht to help breaking down some rye and added some moisture. The bread doesn’t absorb so much borscht flavor but it is a great combo. Herring under the fur coat: one of the favorite things to eat now. I hate herring before because when not cooked properly, the herrings can be super oily and fishy. But the carrots and the beets balance well with the herring and with the creamy potato and mayo and egg. Instead of getting the fishy flavor, you get umami from the fish: I can eat this all day. Blinis with beef: if I know crepes were this good when paired with meat I should do it sonner. The blinis were folded perfectly into squares with lots and lots of beef. The texture is almost cheesy, so creamy and meaty and indulging. The blinis itself was buttery and smooth, and when I topped with sour cream, it added a bit of tangy. The leaves paired on top were bitter, helped to cut down the over saturation of the fat heaven I am in. Potatoes with mushroom and onion: nothing can go wrong with caramelized onions and butter sautéed mushroom and potatoes (previously roasted I think). We ordered this because my friend was vegetarian but this classic dish was way better than expected. The garlic, dill, butter, and salt really came through. I especially dig the onions. Didn’t get to try their beef stroganoff and napoleon cake but I am sure I will be back soon sometime. So far no dish has failed me yet.

5 Star Rating If I can give 6 stars for this place, I will do that. Delicately decorated; great vibes; most importantly, superbly delicious food!! Even the Napoleon cake was tasty and authentic. The lamb chop I had was big; what a feast with meat! Oh yes and the price was also good. Very suitable for a romantic date if you are tired of French or Italian style restaurants.

5 Star Rating Exceptional Dining Experience in NYC I had been wanting to visit this restaurant for a while, and I'm so glad we chose it for our school reunion dinner. Everything we ordered was amazing, and the flavors were exceptional. Some of my personal favorites were the forshmak, oliv'e salad, and honey cake. The service was truly incredible, which is something I haven't experienced often in New York. The staff was very attentive and quick to serve, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant the next time I'm in New York. Highly recommend!
