The original Shake Shack, if you like their burgers you know what you're getting. The nice part is the seating within Madisson Square Park, which has a nice atmosphere and you can admire both the Flat Iron and Empire State Building

The original location is a great place to visit if the weather is nice. You can sit outside and enjoy an excellent view of the flat iron building and surrounding area. The food was excellent. It can be a little slow depending on the time of day but otherwise this is one of the best location around for this franchise. Still not crazy about their fries, though haha

Had an amazing experience at Shake Shack in Madison Square Park, NYC! The manager who served us was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our visit even more special. The burgers were absolutely delicious, and the fresh lemonade was so refreshing.
Eating a burger in the park for the first time added to the wonderful atmosphere. This visit truly became one of the best memories from our first trip to New York!

If I was going to have Shake Shack, I wanted it to be the original. Gotta say I was skeptical about all the hype, but I was made a believer. Everything was great from the burgers to the Shake to the service. Great choice to pick this place first a bite to eat. Definitely will be back.

Had an absolutely fabulous in every respect Mother’s Day dinner here. Did the tasting menu (which thankfully has no “supplements”) and we picked 2 of each dish. Every dish was superb. Service was particularly excellent. The Austrian wine by the glass is excellent. Hard to pick the best dishes but the two fish courses and the lamb are just slightly better than their counterparts. The bread is amazing. Both desserts were excellent. Great atmosphere. Been coming here since it opened like 30 years ago and still one of New York City’s best. Compares very favorably with other NYC prix fixe places in all aspects including value.

Perfect in every way! The bartenders truly elevated the experience. Stopped in for lunch and ate gooood!! Chicken liver mousse was a treat and the burger was delicious. A big fat, juicy burger is hard to find nowadays with the smash burger being the trend. So good and so worth it. Fantastic spot!

We made a reservation for a weekday lunch with for our team. We arrived at our reserved time and were taken to our table within few minutes. The restaurant was so beautiful inside with all the plants, flowers, rustic decor, huge bar, really created a wonderful tavern vibe.
We started our meal with soft and fluffy bacon cheddar biscuits. There were 4 of them in the plate. Having only one of those didn’t seem enough. For entree I had the Tavern burger. It was made with a thick paddy that had delicious flavor topped with melted cheese. The aioli sauce on the side was so good that it enhanced the taste of the burger. My coworkers loved their pressed chicken and meal ball dishes as well.
At the end, we ordered a bunch desserts including lemon cake, passion fruit sundae and chocolate cookie. Sundae was my favorite. It was so delicious, incredible flavor of passion fruit and vanilla ice cream. The cookie was little too sweet for me. But the lemon cake was pure quality.
Our server Jasmine was amazing. Did an awesome job throughout the lunch. Rest of the staff were also equally pro, filling water, cleaning plates, folding napkins, they were on top of it all. Everyone was super attentive and fully dedicated to their job. At the end they also brought us a small cake for our office celebration. So kind and thoughtful gesture from them. Overall we had a great team lunch. I was so pleased to see Gramercy delivered above and beyond my expectations.

Absolutely lovely, even above expectations. Try the ricotta fritters for desert! Grilled oysters and burger were also great. Good cocktails (flatiron friar) and some excellent wines by the glass (Chapter 24 PN)

We came without a reservation and were able to get seats at the bar after a 45-minute wait. I definitely recommend booking ahead! The dishes were delicious, the salad was super fresh, and the cookie dessert was more like a real cake—amazing. I’d recommend visiting at least for the authentic American diner atmosphere!

Eleven Madison Park wasn’t just good for a plant-based restaurant—it was good, period. The tasting menu was both innovative and delicious, with each course more visually stunning than the last. While the savory dishes impressed, what truly stood out were the desserts. You’ll likely remember the sweet courses most vividly, and if you can, I highly recommend trying their signature cake.
Was the overall experience worth the cost? Probably not—but I still thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

Eleven Madison was surely one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. Of course it was; it has 3 Michelin Stars! The service was unbelievable and each course was fascinating, unique, fun, and enjoyable. Even the granola gift they sent home with us was super good. That being said, you do have to ask yourself whether it's worth the money. No doubt it's a 5 star...heck 10 star...vegan dinner. No doubt we will never forget this experience and have no regrets. Was it worth the price? Was it significantly better than our 1-star Michelin vegan dinner in Milan last year? Maybe not. Given all of this, if you can afford it, go have a great experience and don't worry about the money because at this price there's just not a fair way to analyze the value. It's like Superbowl tickets...surely they can't be worth THAT much money...but it's something you'll never forget.

I recently visited Eleven Madison Park and overall, I really enjoyed the experience—but fair warning: this is not the place to go if you’re hungry. The portions are more about art than appetite, but if you’re someone who appreciates beautifully plated dishes and thoughtful presentation, you’ll be in heaven.
Each plate looks like it belongs in a magazine spread—elegant, minimal, and designed to spark conversation. It’s the kind of spot where, if you were playing host to a visiting friend or trying to impress someone, you’d definitely earn style points.
One of the most special touches is that many of the vegetables come straight from their own farm in Upstate New York, which you can actually taste in the freshness and quality of each bite. The flavors are clean and delicate, more about quality than quantity.
Bottom line: if you’re craving a visually stunning dining experience with farm-fresh ingredients and a refined vibe, 11 Mesa Park is worth a visit—just grab a snack beforehand.

A night to remember at Eleven Madison Park — every dish from the chef’s spring tasting menu felt like a love letter to new beginnings. Each course was meticulously crafted with ingredients sourced from their very own farm, capturing the season’s essence in every bite. The service? Impeccable. Every member of the staff wished us personally, the champagne was on the house, and the highlight — a private tour of the iconic 3 Michelin star kitchen where all the magic happens. Grateful, full, and in awe.

Went for 5 course lunch and was not sure what to expect with this plant based menu. But it met the quality of food I would expect from a 3 Michelin star restaurant. Standouts being the potato 3 ways and the silken tofu with brussel sprouts. The chocolate and orange dessert course was amazing as well. The service was impeccable. Im very glad I got to experience it and even get a tour of the kitchen

Had a really good brunch here the other weekend with two friends. We shared the French toast, which was absolutely out of this world. It was so good. We then ordered the pancakes, which were good, but did not compare to the French toast. The other brunch items were all really good, I would highly recommend this place for brunch. You can’t go wrong.

Barbounia Restaurant – A Culinary Masterpiece on Park Avenue!
It’s hard to put into words how extraordinary our dining experience was at Barbounia in Manhattan. Simply put—this place 🏠 is a must!
Touted as “A Mediterranean Affair,” that phrase barely scratches the surface of what awaits you. This is a one-of-a-kind dining journey through the Middle East, Lebanon, Morocco, Israel, and beyond—a vibrant explosion 💥 of flavors unlike anything you’ve tasted 😛.
From the first bite, your tastebuds 👅 are introduced to a harmony of exotic herbs and spices.
Having little experience identifying these aromatic and tasty blends, I won’t even attempt to give a written description of what my palate was privy too.
Chef Mor is a true culinary artist, with the rare talent to imagine flavors in his mind and bring them to life on your plate. Watching him meticulously inspect every dish before it left the kitchen was impressive. His constant dialogue with the floor manager showed his commitment to perfection in every detail.
We felt compelled to meet him and thank him personally—this was no ordinary meal, it was a crafted experience.
Our server, Grigo, was the perfect guide through the menu, leading us to unforgettable dishes that can only be described as OMG! Barbounia was buzzing inside and out—lively and energetic—but the ambiance, expertly made cocktails, and seamless service created an atmosphere of effortless sophistication.
The decor? Stunning. High ceilings, arched aisles, glowing globe lights—all set the tone. But let’s talk chairs 🪑. Cushioned, curved, and perfectly weighted, they were the most comfortable restaurant chairs I’ve ever sat in. Dining here felt like being cradled in luxury.
Now the food… 🥘
Starters
We had the hummus, Israeli salad 🥗, and grilled octopus 🐙.
• The hummus—silky, creamy, blended with tahini—surrounded a pool 🏊 of crushed tomatoes 🍅, cilantro 🌿, olive oil 🫒, and chickpeas. Dipping the warm bread 🥖 into it was divine. A true slice of heaven. .
• The octopus 🐙? So tender, paired perfectly with marinated chickpeas, chillies 🌶️, oregano 🌿, red onion 🧅, olives 🫒, and labaneh. A great pairing of flavors.
• The Israeli chopped salad 🥗 was crisp, refreshing, and coated in a creamy, tangy tahini dressing, with mint, cucumbers 🥒, and crispy pita 🥙.
These were the perfect start.
Main Courses
Every dish was an explosion 💥 of flavor.
• The Short Rib Tagine 🥩 was deeply aromatic—braised with Swiss chard 🥬, harissa, preserved lemon 🍋, and homemade couscous 🍚.
. It was a stew 🍲 that was so aromatic 👃 that we knew the taste would be unbelievable, which it was.
• The Roasted Chicken Shish Kebab 🐓 came with braised freekeh, peas 🫛, almonds 🥜, sumac, and the standout: a green pea tahini dip so good we all dunked our bread 🥖 in it. The peas literally burst 💥 in your mouth! Extraordinary.
• I had the Long Island Duck Shawarma 🦆—served on forbidden black rice 🍚 with mushrooms 🍄, amba, tahini, pine nuts 🌰 & sumac. Rich, bold, and plated 🍽️ to perfection—a true masterpiece.
Desserts
• A decadent red velvet and chocolate mousse with strawberries 🍓 and rose petals 🌹, dusted with a magical strawberry 🍓 powder.
• And the star: a tangy fruit delight crowned with cloud-like ☁️ halavah cotton candy 🪶 that melted in your mouth 😛. Beyond amazing!
Yes, this review is long—but deservedly so. Barbounia isn’t just a meal—it’s an unforgettable experience from start to finish.
My Final two words: “Just Go!”

Nice restaurant with good vibes. Drinks and food were good. Desserts were awesome. I ordered chicken kebab which was good. Hummus and bread were decent. The best was chocolate tasting! Our service was too strict with the timing and it felt as if he was being a mummy to us. Rest was all ok. Good place and nice vibes for a get together with friends.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful brunch at Union Square Cafe.
The atmosphere is high-end yet with a casual vibe. We sat upstairs overlooking the main level, which was fun.
Service was friendly and prompt, and the cocktail and wine list is extensive, all our cocktails were excellent.
The food was phenomenal. The mini jelly donuts were delicious, and the shrimp cocktail was fresh. The steak and eggs and burger were fantastic. Both dishes were so flavorful and good size portions. The carrot cake for dessert was also excellent (in-house pastry chef).
I recommend for brunch or dinner (we plan to visit soon for dinner).

We had an amazing brunch at Union Square Cafe.
A few of us from work decided to go, and from start to finish, everything was spot on.
The coffee was perfectly brewed, clean, smooth, and exactly what we needed to start the day.
The burger was absolutely mouthwatering, cooked to perfection. And the French toast was rich and fluffy.
The service was outstanding, friendly, professional, and attentive without being intrusive.
The ambiance is warm and inviting.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in NYC.

Union Square, Café had been recommended to me by a bunch of people so I was excited to go for a celebratory brunch.
The overall headline is: Really good food, small portions.
The Good: (all of it)
- 🥩 🍳 that may have been the best steak and eggs I’ve ever had. Delicious mix of flavors on the eggs and the steak was high quality and cooked to perfection. Worth the $40!
- we got the lemon pasta too, which was delicious. Amazing balance of flavors beautiful use of a creamy citrus sauce. I wish there was more of it because my girlfriend was still hungry (and it tasted really good)
- the rolls were bomb 🍞 💣
- 🍞 French toast was delicious. Soft and fluffy inside that had a great bite. It was pretty sweet in a good way so I think this is a great dish to share with the group!
I will definitely try the seafood platter the next time I go. Great food, great service!

Food was very good. If you’re a burger person, it’s a must try! Don’t miss the doughnuts; the filling changes seasonally but it was truly great and I don’t even eat doughnuts. The citrus salad was definitely interesting if you wanted to try some light fruit app. Our server disappeared at the end of our meal and we had to wait some time for the check since it was busy or we were forgotten about, not sure.

Everything tastes better after midnight 🥴
So why WOULDNT I pull up to a French bistro and have a feast while riding on cloud nine? I came in last night (Saturday night) at around 11:30pm or so and ordered the Cassoulet. It was awesome! The duck meat was tender and very flavorful with a layer of crackling crispy skin on top, the sausage was springy and juicy, and the tender beans sat in a wonderfully meaty and rich stew! Combining all of the elements of the dish together in a single bite was simply divine! Really a symphony of flavors and textures on my tongue. I was a bit worried about the price tag (otherwise I probably would've tried an appetizer also), but to be honest the portion size was bigger than I expected!
The atmosphere was nice and cozy too and the service was wonderful. I would totally recommend this place if you're craving something delicious late at night! They're open pretty late Wednesday-Saturday.

Went to L’express for dinner with friends who were visiting from overseas and excited to experience French cuisine in NYC. I tried items off their limited time Forgotten Foods Festival menu. The chef curated an incredible menu that really brought out the French flavors in every bite. The Potage Garbure and the blanquette de cochon were cooked to perfection.
The service was also unmatched as all our needs were met. Not to mention the cocktails were out of this world. Would totally recommend the Sazerac and the Apple Martini!

I saw an IG post of Tom C making a sandwich at the grand opening of Vallata yesterday and had to try it. The Ossessione was Mortadella, Stracciatella, Pistachio pesto, black garlic aioli and arugula on a focaccia bun. So good. Every ingredient worked well together with the bun. I also had a few bites of my wife’s 8 1/2 porchetta sandwich. Also very tasty. Service was very attentive and friendly. Maybe a little inexperienced since it was an opening. The “dessert “ of the meal was getting to meet Tom, Kristen and Gail along with season 21 winner Danny Garcia.

Vallata’s new lunch menu is a must-try! They offer an impressive selection of Italian sandwiches, including delicious vegetarian options. Each bite was packed with flavor, and the quality of ingredients really stood out. While I didn’t try any appetizers this time, I’m already looking forward to my next visit to explore more of the menu.
Service was fast and efficient without sacrificing quality, making it a great spot for a quick yet satisfying meal. I also noticed several takeout orders being handled smoothly, so it’s a fantastic option for a grab-and-go lunch or office delivery. Whether you’re dining in or taking it to go, Vallata is a solid addition to the lunch scene!

Vallata is now serving sandwiches during the day! After seeing Tom’s reel (making an Ossessione Sammie. We had to check it out, Mortadella with a pistachio crunch, arugula and black garlic aioli on house made Foccacia, DELISH and the 8-1/2, a Porchetta on Ciabatta with a Mostarda made with candied oranges pieces & a garlic confit, so good. If you are looking for a huge sub, this ain’t it. What you will get are well balanced, creative, flavorful Sammies on fantastic bread! Staff is a little green but very friendly. Def going back! Coincidentally the Top chef crew was there for lunch, I was starstruck! They were gracious enough to chat and take a photo with us.

Competent Italian food, but it didn't wow me at all. The raisins in the pasta didn't work for me, and the chickpeas in the salad were hard. The seafood in that same salad didn't have much flavor. At this price point I expected much more.

Craft was everything I hoped for and more. From the moment we walked in, to when we left with banana bread muffins as a parting gift, every element was perfection. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and the staff went out of their way to make us feel special.
The service was top notch, and our waiter gave us some great recommendations. Pro tip: they offer half portions of most of their sides so you can try more things. This is especially great if you’re a solo diner or in a small group.
The food, wow, everything we ordered was extraordinary. Our particular favorites were the agnolotti, the short rib (must order) and the surprisingly excellent Carolina gold rice. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We ordered 7 total dishes for the two of us; they did an excellent job of coursing it all out and we took home some leftovers as well.
Craft is a perfect choice for your next celebratory meal, or any occasion. The warm, inviting atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff, and fantastic food all make it a memorable dining experience.

Hands down, one of the best meals I have ever had. Everything was too notch and well made. The service was amazing. The poached halibut was out of this world, Gratin (potatoes) were super delicious, and the Risotto was terrific (although my wife would have liked a touch more salt). Even the dessert was outstanding. We had a scoop of the Burnt Honey Vanilla ice cream. Well done by everyone.
If you get the chance, I highly recommend you check out Craft.

Craft was a great experience. I can see why the restaurant is highly regarded. Being solo I tried a variety of dishes! I started out with a crudo I was really excited because I love a crudo. It was so colorful and beautiful. After taking a bite I did have to stop. So I wasn’t asked about dietary restrictions (not a requirement) on the menu the crudo did not specify grapefruit - if it was on there I wouldn’t have ordered it. However the staff was really accommodating and brought an arugula salad as an alternative.
The scallops were really my favorite. So fresh, and scallops had this wonderful vermouth butter. The potatoes were whipped and creamy. They were a great add to the scallops. The pasta was really good. Borderline salty, but still delicious the crab and the nduja was delicious. The portions were great and the quality was good. Overall a recommend.
Taewon Kim - 4 months ago
The crudo wasn’t good, it was big chunks of fish and no flavour. The scallops were big and the buttery sauce was good but I think they could’ve been cooked longer they were quite raw inside still. The service was a bit weird they brought out the steak while we were still eating the entrees and we had to ask if they could wait until we are done before bringing out the next course, it felt quite rushed. The cheesy potato was the highlight - they were out of a lot of things on the menu ie the large steak which we wanted as well as the gratin which we also wanted. The mushrooms were skippable. Meat was okay it wasn’t very tender and was fattier than I would’ve liked.

Craft in NYC offers an exceptional dining experience with outstanding service and incredible food. They print a new menu daily, ensuring the freshest ingredients. We went for my 50th birthday and loved every moment you can even request a custom cake, baked in-house. As vegetarians, we had plenty of delicious options. A lovely touch: at the end of the evening, they send you home with fresh muffins. Absolutely loved everything about it!

The decor is charming and warmly inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The food is absolutely delicious and served in generous portions, leaving you more than satisfied.
The servers add to the authenticity with their adorable outfits and are fluent in both Russian and English, making the experience seamless and enjoyable. If you’re celebrating your birthday, they go the extra mile by singing a classic Russian song, which is such a thoughtful and delightful touch.
Overall, Mari Vanna offers a perfect blend of great food, warm hospitality, and a unique atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic Russian dining experience!

A hidden gem for Russian food in NYC! I came to Mari Vanna on a client’s recommendation and was pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t expecting much due to past experiences with Russian cuisine, but this place completely changed my mind.
We started with the blinis with salmon and caviar—a perfect intro. The Herring Under a Fur Coat was the standout dish. We also tried several flavors of their homemade infused vodkas—smooth, flavorful, and no hangover the next day!
I had the Beef Rossini for my main, which was tasty, though cooked a bit more than I requested. The vibe is cozy, full of vintage Russian charm, with friendly service and quick turnaround.
Highly recommend if you’re curious about authentic Russian food in NYC!

I’ve been to this restaurant twice, and both times were amazing. You definitely need to make a reservation—there are never any free tables, and for good reason! The food is incredibly tasty. Whatever you do, make sure to order the borscht—it’s a must. The blinis and salads are also delicious. All in all, it’s a solid spot that I highly recommend!

an amazing experience at Mary Anna yesterday! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally attentive and made sure every detail of our meal was perfect.
The food was outstanding each dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The Borsch was the highlight for me, and the wine and Vodka selection complemented our meal perfectly. Service was prompt but never rushed, allowing us to enjoy a relaxed and enjoyable evening.
Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner, a celebration spot, or just a great meal, Mary Anna delivers on all fronts. I’ll definitely be back!
Would highly recommend!

What a fun brunch spot! Cozy decor and delicious menu options! I got apple pancakes with house-made apple compote, and my husband got the breakfast wrap. Both tasted great and service was quick. We were able to walk in at 11am on a Sunday without a reservation, which was also a big plus. Would return again!

Charming farmhouse vibes at this quaint restaurant with a menu that is mostly brunch options with some lunch plates. Chicken pot pie was very good, and I nibbled some of my friend’s pancakes which were also delicious. Service seemed a bit inattentive but overall decent. Great option for lunch!

Good brunch experience, especially considering we didn’t have a reservation and there was a crowd waiting outside. We were a group of three, left our name, and were seated after about 35 minutes. The food was good, service was efficient—maybe a bit rushed for my taste, but understandable given the constant line.

One of our best breakfast experiences in NYC! The food was incredible, especially the apple pancakes. The eggs benedict with salmon was so fresh and delicious, and the pot pie was cozy and rich. We loved the ambiance and service as well. It feels like you’re transported to a little grandma’s country kitchen in the midwest! I would love to come back here.
